I absolutely love, love, love all the characters! I definitely plan to play each of their routes! For this piece I had stumbled upon the song My love is sick by Madds Buckey and I had immediately thought of Umbra! So I had that song playing on repeat the entire time I worked on this piece!

Every time I read about him I just want to give him a great big hug and never let go 🥺🥺🥺

Here's my take on Duri from @wings-of-ink's, God Cursed!

I absolutely love the story, and highly recommend it! All of the characters are so lovable! I had such a hard time trying to decide which character to draw! I ended up debating between Oswin and Duri. Unfortunately, I couldn't do Oswin's handsome face justice. 😔 Instead, Duri decided to force his way into the art session and take the spot light! But I'm not complaining! He was tons of fun to draw!

Minor Effects of Cores On The Body

Anyone that has a core is blessed with some sort of power, that varies from person to person. Studies have been conducted that have shown other more subtle changes occurring to them as well.

There are only two minor changes that occur: an increased bone density/an increase in overall body sturdiness, and slightly faster healing abilities from that of the average person. An example of this, was displayed in a early study on core users. A cored individual and non-cored individual were both cut with a scalpel. While the non-cored individual fully healed in about 7 days the core individual healed in about 6. A comparison done at a much later time of both scars revealed that the cored individuals scar had been more faded and harder to distinguish then that of the non-cored individual. The findings were the same on every test conducted.

Fear Makes Phobias January Update - 2025/01/17

Hello, to you all! I hope everyone's week went splendidly, and you all have a lovely weekend planned out! 🥰🥰🥰

As for me this week I actually got time to write and managed to complete writing the prologue! It feels absolutely wonderful to have that done! In the coming week I plan to do editing and hopefully get some of my beta readers to read it and give me some feedback!

As for social media, we have officially passed the two week mark since the IF has been announced and we are literally 10 people away from reaching 200 followers! This page has been growing so fast it might give me whiplash, thank you everyone for your support! 🥹🥹🥹 And we also reached 250 likes on Sunday! 🎉🎉🎉

As for upcoming posts, I enjoy drawing in (what little) free time I get in between writing and all of my work, but I have a couple pieces of fan art for other interactive fictions I want too post online! So those will be coming out this week, as they have been sitting in my folders for a while! I also plan to work on art for the RO's to post here. I have some already done but they are pretty old so, they either need some refurbishing, or need to be completely overhauled!

Imugi joined the government working as a hero about a year prior to the fall of the Warmth family. He slaves away under them carrying out their gruesome unethical tasks. Anyone who crosses him dies, none have yet to live once he has set out to kill them, with the only exception being Valour.

You'll know when Imugi has arrived when the air turns cold and the dark form of his lands on the ground, while the people cower away from their hero. He gets tasks done swiftly, not stopping for anything that stands in his way, and taking no bullshit. if he needs something from you you better give it to him and fast. He doesn't ask twice. Those who he isn't tasked with interacting with are often ignored, and if you aren't causing any trouble and mind your business you most likely won't have any problem with him.

He is an imposing figure that stands at about 6'0 but seems even bigger when face to face. He wears a full black outfit. Black bandages are bound around his shins and upper arms. A pair of black antler-like horns protrude out behind his black dragon-esque mask, flowing back over his hood. A long black scaled tail floats behind him. His hands are covered in black scales and his nails are long talon-like claws.

You have been one of the lucky individuals who hasn't had any issues with this hero, but with your new found power, you may be encountering him a whole lot more...

Some information on The Heir's preset personalities! There are 3 "types" of personalities they can be! Friendly, mature, or dark.

Friendly Heirs are more extroverted and easily excited.

Mature Heirs are more serious and acts a lot older than they are.

Dark Heirs are more intimidating and tend to have shorter tempers than the other two.

Although there are still choices to be made, the flavor text is more aligned to the archetypes of each of these personalities.

Cores

Those with any sort of power have within them a core. A small stone that sit right at the base of the neck, in between your two collar bones. Not much is known about them but immense amounts of dark matter tend to hang around them and flock to those who have cores.

They are incredible rare, and scientists have found no pattern to who is born with or without cores. Each core has its own properties providing its keeper with powers. Each one is very unpredictable, with no reference too just how strong they can make their users.

Species who are descendants of certain core users, have their own cores. But they are smaller and lack in black matter amount compared to those who are considered power users.

Hello everyone! As the prologue is getting worked on I wanted to feed you all some tid-bits about it. The character that is played during the prologue is not the MC but is in fact, The Heir! They have a semi-set personality depending on the type of outfit you choose for them. The only thing that affects the MC in this part of the story is the gender selection! Whatever gender The Heir is will be the same gender as the MC!

Fear Makes Phobias January Update - 2025/01/10

Hello! I hope everyone's week went well, and you all have a relaxing weekend planned out! 😊

As soon as the holidays ended I was bombarded with work, so my attempts at doing as much writing as I liked too were not too successful... but to make up for it I worked on plotting for the book, specifically fleshing out the RO's routes a bit more! Throughout this week I am hoping to release some information on the prologue for all of you to snack on as you wait for its release! 🥰🥰🥰

Outside of the IF itself I wanted to say a great big thank you to everyone, and their support! We have reached over 100 followers and over 100 likes on the demos pinned post! It is just mind blowing to me how quickly everyone flocked here and have shown interest in the story!

Dr. Connor Hopkins isn't well known by many people, and is a bit of an oddball. He pops up out of nowhere and keeps his head low skirting along the edges of the streets at an unusually fast speed, despite trying not to draw too much attention to himself. On rare occasions when he is seen not dashing about and talking on the phone it is late into the night or early hours in the morning before the sun has yet too rise. During these times of day he can be found mumbling too himself quietly.

As for Connor's business, he runs it himself and is not very well known at all, but he seems fine with this, people call it a business but he claims he isn't and he just wants to help others. Usually he gives his ointments away for free to those who need it. If he doesn't give it away too you the only other way to get your hands on it is by asking for some from someone who already has it.

Connor is a tall but portly man standing at about 5'10. His skin is tanned, and he keeps his light brown hair neatly styled. He is usually dressed in a white collared shirt with a brown sweater overtop with tan colored pants and brown loafers. He looks to be in his mid twenties.

Although you barely know him, what you have heard about his ointment is that it has some fascinating properties too it. He might be someone to keep an eye open for.

A very busy woman who helps keep the slums relatively in order and provided for. She helps conduct the black market and ensures everything is going smoothly and that secrets are kept as secrets. She has a very aloof nature, usually on her phone or reading through papers whenever she meets with anyone but don't doubt for a second she isn't paying attention to every little thing you say and do. Her mind is sharp and she has many, many resources and people owing her work, so don’t even think about pissing her off. She can provide you with most anything in exchange for favors, labor, or promises.

Vee looks quite young, in her early to mid thirties, but rumors say she is much older than that so don’t be tricked by her looks. She has beautiful ebony skin, and long hair pulled together into multiple bubble braids. She often wears a cropped jacket, and tank top with skinny jeans.

Her full attention is quiet rare, but you seem to be one of the only people who she is willing to give it too. Many people think it is unfair and accuse you with favoritism.
