Congrats on your first Fictober! How did you like it? Do you think you're gonna do it again? And what was your favorite piece you've written?

In fact, I loved it! 10/10 experience-- it felt like I was part of something while also having the space to "get in touch" with "the craft"... a.k.a. make a ton of small writing mistakes because I pump out writing/editing in under an hour. XDDD But it felt good.

And I truly do have a newfound respect for you keeping up with everyone's posts as much as you do: I wasn't expecting to be as overwhelmed with all the reading options (possibly because I only reblog fics I've finished aaaaaaaaaaaaaaand... yeaaaaaaaaaaahhh.) Wouldn't change a moment, though.

Thank you for encouraging me to participate! Definitely will do this again next year, definitely. :DDDDD

My favorite piece? Really proud of all of them, but "The Dead Are Everywhere, Scully" blows me away, so I'll pick that. ;))) Also, really, really proud of writing Revival Mulder and Scully in "Kids Today, Huh?" because I wanted to set it in a time-out-of-time... time for readers who, like me, haven't seen the Revival (and don't really like any canon post x season)-- and I thought of you while writing it; and tried to capture beefy, wholesome Revival Mulder's vibe for you.

Rambling now, BUT should I do a reflections post? Maybe make a list of 10-30 asks to send around to fic writers asking various questions on their Fictober experience???? Hmmmmm. HMMMMMMMMM.

Darko continued to howl, now turning and spitting in Roman's face, who defensively raised his hands while taking a few paces back from the crazed man. Outrage surged through Niko like an inferno untamed, "So that makes it okay?!" desperately seeking sense in Darko's perfidy. In pitiful and feeble bewilderment, "To stab your friends in the back?!" Darko sighed out a nihilistic proclamation: "When everything you believe is shown to be shit, you make strange choices, I guess." Anguish-laden curses escaped Niko's lips as futility gnawed at his sanity like a starving beast. "Fuck you!"

oh wow, it's been a while.

hello to the VERY small StaticSquidd audience on tumblr! i have not posted here since around late April of 2022, aaaaaaaaaaaaaaand since then, a whole season has started, ended, ANOTHER season has started and there's already ten episodes in that one, as well as a whole rebrand and everything.

one of my strange fears is ppl online assuming the characters I see myself in are my fictional crushes, like I think if somebody asked me if I liked bj that way id smash them with a rock (like the object, not to be mistaken with my girlfriend Rock Holmes, a reacurring manga character by osamu Tezuka introduced around the late 1940s, one of his known manga around that time is, "boy detective rock holmes" nd then later down the line he starred in the 1966 manga Vampires as a harsher darker version of his original character from previous books, this "dark rock" Then appearing as the antagonist in other works by Tezuka, his most notable role along these lines being his character in the 2001 film metropolis. Rock Holmes is also known as Rokuro Makube, which is the name he was given in vampires. Fun fact: I prefer dark rock just thought id let you know since youre here,)
