its cruel (affectionate) how we have three different flavours of emotional stifling in the juno trio for the day that wouldnt die as opposed to junos regular self-destructive tendencies. not only does sasha, mick, and juno all call out each others faults, but none bother to self-actualise and be mature about their shared troubled youth brought on by the disenfranchisement of old town. even with sasha being the more "rational" out of the three, her stability is spurred on by professional detachment more than any personal growth. this world doesnt want them to be better, only to be increasingly useful.

so I started my TPP Junoverse relisten I'm preparation for the upcoming finale (and, you know, the fact that I never caught up with s5 and barely remember s4), so I just started the first episode and when Juno tells Sasha “I am not being followed around all day by a jerk in a suit, Sasha” (about Nureyev) she replies “Perhaps you can talk him out of the suit” which. first of all, Miss Sasha Wire I have always been obsessed with you thanks. second of all. insane. third of all, how did I not catch this in my previous listens. I am never going to stop thinking about this line.

and then not two minutes later Nureyev asks “is there room in that window for two?” which is. also an insane thing to say. but damn if it isn't a gooddamn line.
