getting this message i got super ready to just DUMP and then i realized how my thoughts have been lately about sio,,, i’ve been on streams so much that i have been thinking about cody (and maxx) a lot more in just mr. streamer contexts than in band contexts lol

but they fuckin leaked the intro of a song the other day onstream and when cody was like “should i do it?” i was one of the only people in the chat like NO. NO DONT DO IT. like i probably should have muted the stream because i KNOW once i get a piece of something like that i’m not gonna stop thinking about it for days and days,,, so i’m forcing myself not to overthink about it!! i just wanna hear the song when it comes out and live happily until then

however i also keep thinking about how fucking much they are on the fucking verge, midnight era did so fuckin much for them, they won a wholeass award about how much their fanbase lifts them up and what a good community is and i almost fuckin cried reading it tbh because i love the community sm!! but the thing is, sio has had SO MUCH fucking bad luck and dealt with so many shitty people in the past and i’m just so ready for them to finally explode. like of course with any small-to-mid sized band some people get a gross inner selfish desire to be like “i want things to be this size forever beacuse everyones so close!” but more than anything else i just wanna see them soar and like... i fucking hate saying things like this because of jinxes and shit but i kinda feel it in my bones. i peeked at their numbers on spotify since 2015 (you can do that if you’re on spotify for artists) and i genuinely did not realize how much midnight did for them until i saw it. they’re on the fucking verge and they’re about to change shit up again, that always has its consequences but hoooo boy!!!!! i saw them headline at a 200 cap venue in 2018 (best fuckin show ever), and then headline at a 700 cap venue last july, and god i wanna see them keep going up.

i also kinda like how i heard both cody and maxx talking about how much they loved break my heart by dua lipa and i knew exactly what was happening and then i heard the clip and i was like yep... yep there it is LMAO

i just!!! i just remember being 15 and thinking about how cool these guys were and being like “i wanna work with them! that’d be super cool!” and now here i am, technically not working for actual set it off, just cody, but i aaaaaaa i would so love to be in a position where i could do more for them as a band and help lift them up. like i have my own career that i’m still working on but i also just aaaaaa care about these guys so fucking much, they deserve the world. i think i’m currently fighting harder for them than i am for myself because i believe in them a lot more LOL i need to work on that actually, i’ve been writing a bit lately
