okay i did VP on my last one, i'm gonna do digital art for this one, which is generally a little harder for me, especially recently as i've been in a big art funk and have really been struggling with doing it and also just appreciating it.

the first one is maybe the last time i was really happy with something i made (its a couple months old). i just really like the colors and lighting and it was the first time going back to a more painterly style in a while. i did the one on the right for halloween and i was so happy with the overall vibe of it, kind of an old 90s anime on vhs you rented from blockbuster knd of deal.

these are a bit older, but i'm still happy with them. i don't usually like doing full body so its a challenge for me especially with other elements, but of course i had to do this homage to a nightmare on elm street. i'm also extremely bad with mech/maelstrom but i like this dum dum one despite its flaws.

another movie reference, but i looove this one, it's one of my favorite pieces actually, and i'm still pretty proud of it. and the one on the right has a lot of issues, but it is to this day the most elaborate piece i've done (full background!! wow!!! can you tell i don't do that a lot lol) and i spent a lot of time on it and tried to put a lot of personality into it too. it was made with lots and lots of love and i will not be pointing out the things i don't like about it because its still very special to me regardless :3

I know Naff said they wouldn't be so animalistic, buuut my brain says otherwise~

My horns and frills boys would definitely fall over and start wagging their tail if y/n started scratching them around the base of their horns and behind their frills!

It's not something that automatically happens though. They can control their reaction (it doesn't mean they're faking it, they just have multiple ways of showing that they find something pleasurable. But they always melt and purr from y/n's affectionate touch).

They only do it if they're in the mood for it and it also really depends on what mood the moment calls for. Sometimes a more intimate and smooth reaction from them fits the moment better~

i did! kinda sorta hhh the design is not that complicated but it never stays consistent so I never made a ref (I also never found the time or energy xd) but I have a doodle of what she should look like!

I’ll do my best to explain it! I’d like to mention that the artwork isn’t actually a canon scene that happens and is moreso? symbolical 🤧 If that makes sense.

The characters name’s are Soleil (she uses any pronouns! In case me switching them gets confusing!) and Remiel, Remiel being the kid, obv.

I’ll have to go into my world building deets a lil so . apologies for that bc it’s usually kind of loaded😓

Soleil is something I call a guardian. A guardian is basically a piece of The Sky, a personification of sorts. The Sky is sort of like a god. In the very, detached, concept beyond your comprehension kind of way, that doesn’t communicate or really intervene as itself. Simply just. exist as the biggest thing, the thing everything else branches off from.

And Soleil, is one of many guardians. A guardian is the heart of a universe! They emerge in empty spaces within the ether, and fill it with a world that directly parallels their consciousness, their feelings etc.

Soleil is special in the way he interacts with everything around her. In a way she can hear all the faint melodies of everything that exists, including the sky itself! Which she actually kind of, hates! He thinks the sounds coming from The Sky are always very melancholic and upsetting. Therefore when Soleil finally gets to make their own world, a sort of veil appears, that hides The Sky away from her world, and “silences” the sounds.

Inherently, Soleil also shares the same melody with The Sky, as they are a part of it whether he likes it or not, but he refuses to acknowledge this. Drowning out their own sound, the sound of The Sky, with the sound of every living being on their world.

The world continues to thrive in this fashion, with Soleil existing as a distant observer to her creation for a loooong time until one day. A kid is born and this kid? Has the same melody as The Sky. This kid, is Remiel!

Remiel is a lot of things, I can say A LOT about his childhood, which I won’t get into right now as It’s not important to the context of the drawing. Main things that he is, that matters right now, is that he’s quite literally Soleil’s perception of The Sky, hidden deep somewhere in their subconscious, becoming a real physical tangible person in the world that emerged from their feelings!

This frustrates Soleil, they tried SO HARD to keep that sound out of the choir, to tune it out, to drown it out and now its back.

Okay so to sum it all up here. Soleil is created by The Sky, and is a piece of The Sky. Remiel is created by Soleil, but represents The Sky.

If, for simplicity’s sake I refer to The Sky as Soleil’s mom, to make the dynamic easier to understand, Soleil is Remiel’s “mom”, but Remiel is a literal representation of Soleil’s view of her own “mom” which Soleil hates, but despite this she’s also a lot like and shares many traits with her “mom”. And it’s just a big mess of, I’m your creator (mom), but you’re my creator, but we’re also similar, we are the same, but we’re not the same, you made me and I made you. And so forth.

Remiel doesn’t grow up to be the best person, that’s why I chose to draw him as a child. I think that’s especially when the interpretation of this dynamic as more familial hits hardest, because it could also be seen as directly reversing the dynamic, where Sol is a very old thing, as old as their universe quite literally, and Remiel is just a kid, about to hear a lot of things he wont like. ^_^

The more maternal interpretation also makes me upset /pos as Soleil’s issue is not really with Remiel or The Sky, but it’s with herself and her feeling stuck, unable to detach herself from their creator and it’s misery.

Sorry this is kinda messy n all over the place I hope I could get the main idea across at least😓 THANK YOU SO MUCH AGAIN! For the ask and the compliment :3 It means a lot!

So in the AU the Snorks are actually sort of a type of fairy. They have wings and also possess magic like the Moomins who are witches, but it’s more “static”?? It’s hard to describe… For Moomins, the ones that are witches are born with some magic ability if they come from a family heritage that has witches, but anyone can train to become a witch and any witch can choose what path of magic they want to take which can diverge several different ways. But for Snorks, all Snorks are fairies and rather than them having direct influence on their magic it’s instead something that grows and changes with them naturally. I’d say in the AU witch magic is more of a focused energy while fairy magic is magic that has to *be* focused, if that makes any sense lol.

Snorks’ wings don’t serve a lot of purposes at the moment except for being a by-product of their evolution. (I’ll probably have a purpose eventually I just haven’t thought of one yet lol). The way Snork wings move is actually more inspired by fish (tail) fins rather than bug wings, so I imagine Snorks in this AU are more closely related to Sea-trolls than Moomins are (Sea-trolls in this AU possess a pair of fins on their back that are somewhat similar to the Snorks’ wings). Both Snorks and Sea-trolls also have more southern origins, and the standard Snork is actually less fluffy than the standard Moomin, as an adaptation to the warmer climate. Snork, Snorkmaiden, their parents, etc, are actually the start of a subspecies of “northern” Snork, since they moved up to the mountains north of Moominvalley some time ago.

The Snorks tend to live in kingdoms, however the rulers are always a pair of siblings rather than a married couple, unless if there is any valid reason two siblings can’t lead (ex: one of them is dead or missing, one is too old to lead, one is too young to lead, stuff like that). This shared leadership between siblings is to represent the familial bond between two ancient siblings who were part of the 6 “Pillars of Magic” (which I will go into detail further once I have the mental energy to explain all the ancient folklore i’ve created for this AU lmao 😭).

Snork and Snorkmaiden are prince and princess of their little northern Snork kingdom, however they don’t serve much role in their kingdom because they currently reside in the quiet Moominvalley… sources (me) say that the reason they were left there with Moominmamma is that their mother is quite anxious about them getting hurt ☝️ I wonder why… totally not lore related lol. Kinda interesting that Snorkmamma doesn’t have a sibling to lead with though… haha…

🔪 A headcanon relating to fighting/violence

Kazemaru:

Kazemaru usually isn’t the type to get into serious fights, unless you start provoking him about questioning their club’s skills, then maybe you’ll get a bit of a rise out of him. He doesn’t care much about what people have to say about him, so long as you don’t undermine his or his club’s skill.

He’s an instigator for petty squabbles in the clubroom though, handling bets on who would win. Keeps a tally for “Days without stupid arguments” in the clubroom.

(He was let go when he fell asleep)

(Someoka once tried to just put him on top of the closet and then he proceeded to jump Someoka.)

Fubuki: //actual violence skip to the GO Fubuki part if you're sensitive to that!

Instigating Fubuki will lead to Shirou doubting himself silently depending on who it is. He has to hold Atsuya back from harming the person, But they can’t always hold themselves back. This will lead to situations where Shirou’s just silently trying to stop Atsuya from doing it while the person mocks him more, leading to Shirou doubting himself more and Atsuya getting even more upset. And their body feels cold but there’s a warm burning pain in their chest and maybe tears are about to come out, and maybe they’ve already landed a hit or more, and maybe they’re being dragged away, and maybe it hurts to breathe from that kick to the ribs, It's hard to differentiate when it feels like their brain is being disorganized.

GO Fubuki is more inclined into getting into fights.

Petty fights with Atsuya usually go like this,

Atsuya: I’ll be in charge of this one since I’m taller.

Shirou: We are the same height? (Shirou lets him do it anyways)

👻 A headcanon about what scares them

Kazemaru:

Losing himself to the want for power again. Sometimes when he watches over his friends' smiles, He thinks of that day he gave in to the aliea meteorite's powers. The day he lost himself, along with his team. He's wracked up guilt over it and he knows that they've put it in the past by now, But he can't help but beat himself up over it. His hand still stings as a memory of that day.

(skip this part if u have an issue with like. bug/worm mentions. just skip to Fubuki then.)

Worm. he just do not like them they make him cringe thinking about worms on his skin ewww yucky

Fubuki:

if I get personal this means acknowledging my fears that hit too close. I'm not doing that! not today !!!

Shirou has an interest in unnerving things, playing lots of horror games and being an avid fan of horror media in general. Atsuya isn't as good at stomaching such things, But he insists that he can. He can't, and Shirou notices this, so when Shirou can tell Atsuya needs a break, he goes off and does something else for them.

💤 A headcanon about their sleep

(THIS IS AN EXCUSE TO ALL STARS ALL OVER THE PLACEEE)(I GOT DERAILED WHILE TALKING TO MY FRIEND ABOUT HCS. SO. THIS WILL BE LONG…and. Some of these might be unrelated. oops.)

Kazemaru:

Sleeps on his side. Argues with his life that it’s the best position to sleep in. (Kidou would argue otherwise, finding that sleeping like you’ve been put in the coffin is much better.)

Kazemaru argues with Kidou that side sleeping is much better and Kidou just offhandedly goes "Not for your uneven ahh face from the center of gravity pulling onto your face while you lie down like that for hours"

"let's not talk abt faces here mr marks on my face from wearing my goggles all the damn time" Kazemaru would shoot back.

And then they laugh at each other and hug, then Kidou goes “Obviously sleeping on one’s back is better though.” And then they get launched into a 2hr debate.

Stopped by Endou mentioning that he just sleeps on his stomach which is the WORST for anyone's back. ever. especially with all those hits he takes from those soccerballs.

(Gouenji silently overthinks which position really is the best to optimize.)

Fubuki:

When he does fall asleep on his bed, They prefer having a plushie to hug. If he's in Hokkaido, they prefer to have a cozy soft blanket.

If he's staying over at Inazuma City, (Kidou’s house bc there are probably sooo many guest rooms..) He likes having the air conditioner on high, Kidou swears it was like a barren frozen wasteland when he opened the door to Fubuki’s room.

Caffeine makes him sleepy! He doesn't remember this all the time though, leading to “oh.shit.shit.shit.shit.” moments when he drinks coffee while pulling an all-nighter to cram a project and realize exactly what he'd done. He likes the taste of the coffee though, that’s what he drinks it for. He only avoids it when they’re sleepy, at least try to.

One late night hanging out with each other, Kazemaru mentions how he once spotted Kidou just pour the beans into the cup and then chug it. Atsuya wants to try it once, but Shirou constantly tries to stop him.

Atsuya’s usually the one who’s fronting when they wake up, finding himself wherever Shirou passed out last. This time was the washing machine! He was taking out the laundry! Atsuya tries to get them to a bed before their body passes out.

Heavy sleepers, once he falls asleep there’s no chance of waking him back up.

Always looks like he’s about to fall asleep.

Okay so I have been steadily trying to figure out how I WANNNNT to do this so far thank you for asking my love. It’s ‘me’ but it’s more of an OC? JAJDB Vixen while alive and known as Arpía as a nickname in hell since she doesn’t like to give out her name to too many people. Arpía is translated to harpy and can be used for vixen as well (literal translation for vixen is raposa but Arpía is used pejoratively and for good reason)

Late in life she ends up as a mule for the cartel before steadily working a little ways up until meeting Valentino in the land of the living. Hes just as awful as he is in hell, and he brought in clientele. Blow and whatever hallucinogens you can think of he wanted to peddle in his club but he always made some sort of a pass; for himself or an offer to make money by taking advantage of the ‘assets readily at your disposal’ but he was denied more than once until he didn’t like the word no anymore.

Meeting up with him one day to ‘replenish his inventory’ when he insists on a drink as a peace offering because she’s made it clear she doesn’t like him despite how he’s her best customer. ‘Burying the hatchet’ but he spiked her drink and she realizes too late, but Val was too impatient to wait for her to really struggle with the effects before trying to force himself on her. Pushing at him and still resistant but he thinks it’s funny this time and he takes it far from seriously until she gets her hands around a knife and stabs him in the ribs with as much force as she can muster.

A struggle ensuing that ultimately ends with a stab to Val’s heart and her throat slit.

And while the sins may not have been as unsavory as most, especially not Alastors, killing Valentino was enough and it landed them both in hell. Valentino doing what he did best while he was alive and quickly made a name for himself while Arpía mostly laid low.

Winding up becoming the ✨maneater✨ (in the most literal sense) overlord by mostly just killing drug lords / mafia bosses that she finds out are hurting women and children far too often then ultimately takes over their syndicates and run them better and more efficiently

Then mimzy ends up in trouble with loans sharks AGAIN and they follow her back to the hotel to get Alastors help but by the time she’s made him aware of it she’s already delivered the heads of the men following her

“They followed you here darling I’m not sure if you’re aware but I took the trash out for you” Blood all over her face and down her chest ruining her dress but still harboring an impassive expression.

Mimzy is grateful ofc because it was taken care of before she even brought it up to Alastor and she tells her to come in; walkin in very slowly and eyeing Alastor specifically before noticing how relaxed mimzy is and she’s tuggin her along “oh thank you dollface they’ve been hounding me for weeks pussycat let’s get the pretty fox a drink!”

She doesn’t drink, doesn’t like to for obvious reasons but she sits at the bar with them while mimzy introduces herself and goes to introduce Alastor before he interjects with his typical greeting.

“Alastor, pleasure to be meeting you, quite the pleasure,” a little slower as he holds out his hand to shake hers. A piqued interest from the both of them whenever she gives her actual name for the first time in a long time.
