I'm not sure I've developed any recent musical obsessions. Finding a song that really gets in me like that is like catching lightning in a bottle, it just doesn't happen easily. The other day Fab Tool (Carpenter Brut + David Eugene Edwards) was playing and I was once again struck dumb by how incredible it is that two artists from notably different genres who are yet both associated with the same god in my mind somehow managed to make a song together, and what a song, too! The way those roads converged, just for me*... man.

*of course it was For Me Specifically. you wouldn't expect me of all people to think otherwise, would you? :p

"Influenced" is such a nebulous word that so, so many songs could fit, just because I've been really into music since childhood and have a lot of anecdotal data for how different music has affected me over all that time. It's a bit daunting. How does one choose?

I am stressed in the face of this enormity but here's my best attempt that will take me less than an hour to collate:

Exist, Avenged Sevenfold (have been an A7X fan since high school. this song came out long after that but it reactivated my love for them in a whole new context)

I Know It's Gonna Happen Someday, David Bowie (this got me through a lot during those last years in NY)

3 Libras, A Perfect Circle (I don't think there's been a single occupant of this body that has not been extremely affected to the point of madness by this song)

Seguindo a lógica do filme, o John e a Kalyna depois de brigarem muito. Fico imaginando ele indo pro treino de cheers querendo MORRER por medo de se machucar (porque aí estaria machucando a Lina) e ela ficando com a cara do meme do mike wazowski quando alguém pedisse pra ela tocar violão no clube de música. Resumindo, seria um caos porque eles tem vidas muito diferentes e precisam aprender a conviver melhor com as picuinhas um com o outro!!

me conte um fato aleatório sobre um dos seus personagens.

O Sullivan já foi em 5 shows do Avenged Sevenfold quando morava nos EUA. Inclusive o primeiro que ele assistiu foi quando ele era um pirralho e o The Rev tinha falecido há pouco tempo, então a plateia cantou “got nothing against you, and Jimmy I miss you” ao invés de “got nothing against you and surely I’ll miss you” durante Afterlife e há boatos de que essa foi a primeira e última vez que o Owen chorou em público. (e eu dou risada desse hc porque literalmente roubei o nome do char do The Rev, que se chamava Jimmy Owen Sullivan. Foi realmente uma homenagem porque como minhas amigas todas já sabem, a7x foi uma parte importante demais da minha vida kkkk)

me conte um headcanon angst que você tem sobre o nosso ship.

O Daniel realmente não sabe como agir com a Kendall por conta do vício dele. E ele tem muito medo de ela começar a querer ficar pilhada demais por conta dessa coisa de ficar sempre acordada e experimentar as mesmas coisas que ele, por isso ele é tão chato e incisivo sobre querer que ela durma. Meio que ele tem medo de “contaminar” a vida dela com o estado caótico em que ele está no momento.

me conte um headcanon soft que você tem sobre o nosso ship.

Depois do aniversário da Melinoe o Asher passou a levar doces pra ela e esconder na geladeira da funerária com bilhetinho. Ele não cozinha muito bem, mas conta com a ajuda do tio e sempre saem uns cupcakes meio feios, mas são bons (juro!!!)

não vale roubar! pense num filme. o primeiro que vier na cabeça. agora responda com um ship seu que se encaixa perfeitamente nesse filme! 

Valley Girl. (eu não aguento mais estar OBCECADA por Valley Girl) e acho que no momento seria Layla/Noah, porém versão anos 80. Ele meio boy from the wrong side of the tracks, rockeiro... E ela literalmente uma Valley Girl patricinha da Califórnia. (alô @ketnisseverdeen me dá esse au)

qual seu tipo de AU favorito? você costuma fazer AUs para os seus ships?

AMO AUs dos ships vivendo em outras épocas, seja no futuro ou passado. Sinto como se estivesse escrevendo o casal vivendo como soulmates que se encontram em várias eras. Tenho alguns, aliás. Mas morro de vergonha de propor, fico esperando as partners adivinharem que eu quero!

qual a sua temática de rp favorita? e qual temática você não gosta tanto assim?

Favoritas: bandas/festival/anos 80. (todo mundo: *pretends to be shocked*) Pra twitter é DEFINITIVAMENTE festival de rock. Eu consigo desenvolver todas as minhas esquisitices, amo criar conceito de show, sempre acabo incorporando isso nos backgrounds pessoais dos personagens e fantasio minha vida de sonho, que é trabalhar com música e tours. Em tumblr eu sou apaixonada por temática retrô, especialmente anos 80!

Menos favorita: super-heróis/filhos de super-heróis. Não me interessa nem um pouco, então nunca nem entrei em um rp do gênero.
