I have a Sims 3 save with the a3 cast and some of the highlights so far are:

Juza and Taichi autonomously got married even though teens can’t get married

Muku and Kumon became BFFs and Tenma was PISSED because HE was Muku’s BFF.  Yuki spent the whole day comforting him and then when the group split up he was like “words cannot express how much I hated that.”

Sakyo’s Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day

Tsuzuru and Citron were trying to woohoo in a pile of leaves (bc they all have twin beds), and while Citron was buttering Tsuzuru up Chikage walked up and threw the leaf pile in the trash

Juza and Taichi’s first date didn’t even make it out of the house before Juza ruined it

Tsuzuru and Omi hate each other and I don’t know why

Muku is the overseer of the dead

Chikage almost died in a tomb because he was too tired to finish it

Azuma went to China and immediately someone beat him up

- Okay so,,, this one actually took a lot of time in my head;;

- My two main contestants were Omi and Kazunari;;

- The relationships with each one would be so different but like I was sold for Omi the more I thought about it.

- Not that a relationship with Kazu wouldn’t work but… come on Omi would yeet himself off a window of you so much asked him like you’re his type to a T man.

- You two have being introverts in common and there’s something about your love for trying out new restaurants seems like an activity Omi would probably love to indulge with you~

- Be prepared for him to complain if you say you like a restaurant too much though,,, but he’ll do his best to try and learn the recipes for you!

- Since Omi is also an introvert he wouldn’t mind your nature, if anything he’d enjoy being able to stay home with you and be able to accompany you in simple activities and a calmer lifestyle (a privilege he can’t normally partake in when he’s at the dorm).

- Now my favorite part is the height difference; at first he never really paid much mind to the fact you were so much shorter than him until you attempted to borrow one of his shirts.

- He really tries to understand you’re not also a 6’2 godzilla.

- He fails sometimes though;;

- Kind of finds your difference in styles nice, he’s got the stereotypical ranch-Kyle style going and the fact you’re girly and feminine makes him soft.

- He calls you doll or dolly because you remind him of dolls.

- He finds Ariana and Melaine’s music very cool and fitting of you, he will begin to sing their stuff while cooking.

- Omi would really like Melanie’s stuff (he finds her voice soothing baby doesn’t get all the lyrics until you show him the translations and he’s doing his ”O-O?”), he keeps it a secret from the guys especially Itaru and Banri, but would 100% watch K-12 with you if you asked him.

- Loves sewing you little trinkets or knitting you scarfs in your favorite colors to make sure they fit your outfits and stuff.

- Loves knitting lace and felt animals for you and making you stuff you will have to stop him because you’re room is filled with so much stuff Omi makes you it’s so sweet it’ll make you puke please stop-

- Overall… please marry Omi and adopt Muku and me thanks.

Tesek Bayou (MOSTLY CC free)

Tesek Bayou is a world with a nice swampy vibe to it. It is split in the middle by a mountain range that divides two very different populations!

On the right side is the human population (and maybe a werewolf or two), nestled into a nice little country town. It has a really small town vibe, with small town things to do.

On the left is the mystical unexplored side of the swamp, where legends say a nocturnal colony of mermaids lives. This part of the bayou is said to be very dangerous, will you dare to look?

Includes 51 total lots.22 community,  And a few scattered lots that are unbuilt.

Please be aware that I do own all stuff and expansion packs (other than sweet treats), and I have tried to keep tabs on everything built and used, but cannot promise I have not forgotten to mention a pack. HOWEVER, for basic items the games will replace items with the nearest available default. The packs listed are mostly done so for critical function objects or features, I will do my best to list what is required and why. Island paradise: There are mermaid families on one half of the populated town. Not all of them have the mermaid occult state, but some do. There are also boats on some lots.

Into the future: Many of the mermaids use the fashion from this pack, and the herbalists’ house uses the plant rugs from this pack too.

World adventures: The Senteleka natural history museum uses many elements from WA to make it more interesting.

Supernatural : The history museum uses many things from the supernatural pack, and the mermaid side of the world uses a lot of the more magically inclined items in their homes. There is also a family of werewolves in the large trailer park.

Pets: The werewolf family has a pet.

you do like practices and stuff to help improve the cards you get from the gachas (called tryouts in-game) with some bonuses along the way in the form of small stories and currency

1: Do you daydream a lot before you write, or go for it as soon as the ideas strike

I think it depends on the genre! Comedy fics like The 9th Isn't Autumn and My Roommate Might Be an Enemy Spy were written with basically no planning except for a few key moments I knew I wanted to show up, but I do daydream a pretty fair amount for pieces like Thanks I Guess and Not a Textbook Romance

The exception to this I guess is Letters, which I try to not think about too much so it comes off more like someone's just putting their thoughts onto paper

21: Do you prefer writing chaptered fics or one-shots?

Even though most of my stuff is one-shots right now, I definitely think I have more fun with chaptered fics

Hmmm probably "In Which Kazunari Becomes a Secret Agent Because The Graphic Design Job is Glitched in Sims 4"? The whole thing is a bunch of inside jokes about things that have happened in my sister's A3! Sims 4 universe, to the point where I'm not sure if it'll be enjoyable to anyone else enough for it to see the light of day lol

The first thing that came to mind was "is at work and wants time to pass faster" lolol but besides that I think I just really like to share my silly little ideas with others, as cliche as that sounds. It's a nice feeling when I can make people laugh or feel something

And then I caved in and preregistered for ‘Dynamic Chord Jam & Join’ after all coz it looks rather cute from the gameplay screens they’ve released so far… ^^;; I like that you can pick up the chibis! XD

Anyway, didn’t preregister before coz none of the characters really grab my attention, but now I’m all ‘I’ve basically preregistered for all the other non-dating sim mobile otomes, so might as well…’ orz

I’ve seem Dynamic Chord stuff around but know nothing about it. So far it seems to be about bands instead of idols and the art seems very much like A3?? And I think I’ve heard before that it had an anime but it was apparently horrible??

Oh well, we’ll see what happens when it comes out.

Beyond deciding who is best girl in whatever I happen to be watching, I really enjoy ballroom dancing, reading, crying over dating sims, karaoke, and being surrounded by beautiful things~ (You know, scenery, décor, boys, stuff like that). Husband Management Games: Intro

In the past few years, particularly this past one, I’ve noticed an increase of these gacha based “Otome” games, or Husband Management games as I’ve seen it be referred a few times, which focus more on pulling card art from gachas and following a main overarching story line. Many of these games have actually been out for longer than that as they are usually created by an Asian based company but since I’m an English speaking person, I only found out about/played them after they were localized with the exception of one since it got a lot of hype.

While these games feature many Ikemen/Bishies/Husbandos (whatever you prefer to call them), they don’t follow the typical Otome/Dating Sim format of having any sort of route in place (although I found one, maybe two, exception so far); you never actually date any of the characters in the main story. Personally, I’ve been enjoying this format a lot as I find it refreshing after playing many traditional route based Otome games for several years. These games also tend to have more stuff to do than just read a story, namely upgrading cards and some kind of interaction with the characters to increase an affection/intimacy meter. (edit: after writing this, I found that these games are joseimuke, but not necessarily otome)

I’m interested in comparing the games against each other to see what factors might contribute to each games’ popularity or lack thereof as well as generally seeing how each game puts a different spin on this genre of game.

Currently, I’ve found and played six games of this nature, though there are plenty of others. List under the cut.
