ABOUT ISAT. I'm an anxious mess who can't make a decision to save my life + get scared super easily. Should I play the game or watch a playthrough? Like. Sometimes I get frustrated with playthroughs for games who ask you to make a lot of choices because they're not the choices I would make but. then I have to make the choices myself and. Oh no the quencies. Anyway what's the best way to experience ISAT in your opinion

from the sounds of it i think there's a good chance you would be able to enjoy playing through ISAT regardless of those concerns! that's just my opinion though so i'll try and give you as much information as i can without giving you any highly-specific spoilers so you can decide for yourself:

siffrin isn't really a protagonist meant for you to project yourself onto! their personality is consistent regardless of what you do, it's more like you are viewing the world and the game's events through their eyes and their thoughts rather than crafting his personality for yourself through your choices, and there aren't really any Consequences(TM) for taking any 'incorrect' paths, nor are there any alternative routes or good/bad endings, you just get to sit back and watch them gradually spiral out of control :) you aren't really meant to make the choices that YOU would make in his shoes, so much as you're observing siffrin as they make their own. if that perspective helps at all

EVERY single dialogue option throughout the game can be chosen and explored because of the timeloop mechanic! if you ever want to go back and see what you may have missed the first time you can always loop back and go through the conversation again to explore the alternatives; in fact the game goes out of its way to encourage you to do this to get all the information you could possibly need to progress the story. i will say though that everything past Act 4 is a point of no return so if you're REALLY worried about finding everything you possibly can i would just make a copy of your save once you reach A3 or A4 so you can go back to explore any loose ends you may not have tied up the first time.

i'm something of an RPG buff so i am more than familiar with getting stuck and frustrated... i would say the most trudging and grindy part of the game is buffing your party up in order to defeat The King. but that is THE hardest part of the game imo and it really only gets easier after that as siffrin in particular becomes an unstoppable beast of a party member

in terms of scary stuff, the steam page lines out all the content warnings pretty concisely, but i will elaborate further and say that all of the content warnings posted are related to story events that you would be facing whether or not you played the game yourself or watched a playthrough :3

i'm the type to prefer playing a game myself over watching gameplay, so my opinion may be a little skewed in that regard, but with ISAT in particular i would say that it... doesn't make much of a difference overall which way you decide to go about it? just because the game gives you so many opportunities to go back and try again if you want to do something differently, and regardless of how you go about things there is only one ultimate conclusion to be reached in the story, so really the main appeal of watching a playthrough of it would be if you're worried about completionism and seeing EVERY SINGLE dialogue choice you can possibly find. but whatever decision you make ISAT is a really really good game and it excites me that you're interested in it :3

Giraffe Girumble - Round 3A

Propaganda below (May contain spoilers!)

Kaku propaganda:

He's a black ops government assassin who can transform into a giraffe or a human-giraffe hybrid that is really angular for some reason. He fights using two swords and wind blades shot from his feet, but giraffes have four feet, so he can shoot wind blades from all four limbs. He can also become a cube. And suck in his neck to fire his head forward like a cannon, his nose like a square-shaped cannonball. Or suck in his neck to make his legs longer, like a pasta machine.

A professional assassin and government agent, ate the fruit that gave him the ability to turn into a giraffe. Due to Kaku's personal anatomical peculiarity, he turns into a square giraffe (technically, a parallelepiped) a good swordsman who quickly learned to use the giraffe form for his fighting style. However, because he only became a giraffe a few hours ago, he is still not very good at it, which makes him miss funny. in his next appearance, he is a complete professional at transformations. AND AFTER HIS TEAM LOST TO THE MAIN CHARACTER'S TEAM, HE AND HIS PARTNERS WORKED AT A TRAMPOLINE RIDE AND HE RODE CHILDREN ON HIS NECK TO RAISE MONEY FOR THE BOSS'S TREATMENT.

Kaku turns into a giraffe-human by being ordered to eat a devil fruit by his boss, and the first thing this man does is hop on the giraffe propaganda train, no hesitation. His collegues are wolfs and leopards. Does Kaku mope about being a giraffe? No! He literally holds a whole speech explaining why giraffes are both dope, cool and the most lethal animal on the savanna. Then proceeds to unleash the limitless destructive power of the giraffe. Kaku is the no. 1 giraffe character, hands down, no competition, I will die on this hill, give me 1000 dollars.

Miyoshi Kazunari propaganda:

I don’t know how to explain this in a cohesive way that doesn’t sound like I’m insane but this silly little actor visual novel has a canon furry event. All of the characters have canon fursonas. Okay, let me explain. Every year, the April fool’s event involves an AU, just for fun. Other years have included a host club, magic school, time travel, a fighting game, etc. This one was an AU where all the characters were animals, and it was by far the most extensive, given that it had its own full-blown event as opposed to a single card and side story like in the past. I couldn’t tell you if Kazunari counts given the submission rules and A3!’s circumstances, but it would be cool if he got in as A3! is generally a smaller franchise.

The Ink Demonth 2024 - Day 31. The End

I DID IT!

No, this year there will be no text about me being a free elf - because this year's Ink Demonth was light and pleasant for me to do. No stress, no pression (except that I wanted made every picture in its event day). But, unfortunately, it was still quite time-consuming - so despite my best intentions, I will not be able to give you this month's SATIM strip (by the way - I'm sorry that for now the frequency of publishing strips is monthly… But it's still better than unspecified, sometimes half-yearly intervals, right?)

The second reason why I didn't manage to get it done today is that my beloved Ursa IS GOING TO SCHOOL this year - and today we went shopping for the last time before September (and we still didn't find a pad of coloured technical paper in A3 format :/)

Anyway, the strip will be released soon, it's in quite an advanced stage - and I can tell you that it will be in two parts, so maybe both parts will be released in short intervals from each other.

So SATIM fans may complain a bit that there is no strip this month - but on the occasion of Ink Demonth I gave you so many spoilers and tidbits from SATIM that I think I compensated you enough for this lack ;)

As for my sona... The appearance is more or less the same as I have now. I need to cut my hair - especially shave the sides of my head and legs. If it weren't for this damn heat, the picture would have appeared earlier, and then I would have drawn myself in my awesome Iron Maiden T-shirt that I was wearing in the mall.

By the way, I originally had a different idea for this picture, but I didn't have enough time (it would require a bit more work and for the picture of drawn picture to be taken by someone other than me). So I came up with this two days ago. But even though I had this idea earlier, my husband said yesterday or today something similiar to Sammy. It's creepy when your husband become similiar to your own fictional character XD

So I don’t often barge in talking about ships on this blog—honestly I’ve been pretty stern about not doing that, though I couldn’t really explain why if you asked—but today’s a special day, so I figured it’s about time I get on board!

So, here’s my top 5 A3! ships! Under the cut for length purposes and for some spoilers for Trump the Phantom Thief. For each, I also tried to explain a bit of why they’ve anchored themselves as favorites for me :)

5. The Royal Star Cruise

You might not remember this ship—it’s the luxury cruise liner where the heist in Trump the Phantom Thief takes place! To be fair, it’s definitely my love for this play that boosted this one into the top five, though, since we don’t  have much information about the ship itself at all. The hallways look nice, though!

4. The little ship they ride to Misoshiosa Island

This ship is barely a ship, but I’ve gotta put it on the list for two reasons. One, Misoshiosa is one of my favorite events in all of A3. Two, I couldn’t have EVERY ship on this list be a big one, right? Smaller, lesser-known ships deserve some recognition too.

3. Princess Aurora

Princess Aurora gets some automatic bonus points for appearing in more than one story! The Summer and Autumn Troupes perform Trump the Phantom Thief on it, and then they return to it in the A Scenic View to Give You Someday event!  It has a really different feel from the Queen Camellia, too; they really went off with the design of this one.  I feel like I’d put it even higher, but I’m not sure if I’d want to be on a ship that had a literal gem heist on it.

2. The Queen Camellia

Do I personally like the Princess Aurora better? Yeah. But honestly, the Queen Camellia is such an iconic ship in A3.  When you hear “A3 ship,” the Queen Camellia is definitely one of the first to come to mind. I think it’s the only named ship we got in A3EN, after all, and it’s the event that had the sailor-themed cards.  Its gold detailing makes it look even fancier than the Princess Aurora too, and that POOL? I would kill (and then be arrested by Sakuya) to hang out at that pool.

1. Captain Sky’s Pirate Ship

Of course I have to give the number 1 spot to a ship as iconic as this one. The whole play takes place on it! They’re PIRATES! Of course the pirate ship is going to leave an impression! The ships used by the royal navy look similar to frigates, but Sky’s ship is described as shabby, so it’s possible that it’s a smaller ship instead.  If only the English graphics didn’t break so I could tell… :pensive: Anyway, top tier ship even if they do kill it off at the end T_T

A3! Troupe Event: MY WORST WEDDING | Event Story Translation (4/11)

Neither Japanese nor English is my first language so please forgive me if I made mistake. However, feel free to point me out, I’d love to hear your feedbacks on the translation ˶ᵔ ᵕ ᵔ˶

Azami: I had a bit trouble falling asleep. I couldn’t tell Sakyo not to stay up late working on his stuff.

Kumon: Come to think of it, Sakyo-san’s sister came to our dorm yesterday right~. Did something happen?

Azami: Seems like she came to consult about Sakyo’s mother.

Kumon: Heh~. Sakyo-san’s mother is such a kind person, isn’t she!

Azami: You know her?

Kumon: She is nii-chan’s fan and she’s been supporting him all the time!

Azami: Ah–, is that so.

Kumon: I think she’ll come to Autumn Troupe’s next performance.

Azami: Now that you mention it, I’ve been thinking a lot ‘bout Juza-san’s hair makeup this time…

Kumon: Ah–! Wait! No spoilers here!

Azami: Hah?

Kumon: He’s a former soldier this time, so it’ll def be really cool... 

I want to know, but I want to challenge myself without knowing anything until the performance starts…!

Azami: That’s impossible. We’re in the same dorm after all.

Kumon: Still no spoilers anyhow!

Azami: Well, I haven’t decided on Juza-san's hair makeup yet. Only Taichi-san’s role Olivia has costume coordination today.

Kumon: Ah, Taichi-san’s role is the woman who deceives the grooms right? I’m really looking forward to it!

*Shifts to practice room*

Izumi: Taichi-kun, it looks good on you! The impression has drastically changed.

Taichi: Heheh, I’ve turned into a perfect beautiful woman!

Yuki: It’s not that bad, is it.

Banri: Heh~, Olivia’s hair is purple, huh.

Azami: I’ve thought about it a lot, but this will suit the scene when she appears in the story. 

The makeup also matches the color of the wig though, this looks fine. 

Then, I’ll remove the makeup after the photoshoot, so Banri-san, please try doing it this time.

Banri: Roger that.

*Short timeskip*

Azami: Make the line a bit thicker here–– About this much.

Banri: …It’s done.

Azami: As expected of Banri-san, your sense is good. 

Taichi: Oh~, it’s exactly the same as before!

Banri: When I actually tried Azami’s makeup, I can see that you think a lot about various things in detail. That’s awesome. 

Azami: Obviously.

Banri: Well, but I only did the makeup just like the sample photo, so once I get used to it, I think I’ll be able to speed up even faster right before actual performance.

Yuki: And the rest are the costumes that go well with this hair makeup but— I bring lots of outfits for you guys to base on.

Izumi: This time main focus is the hair makeup, so the costumes will be later.

Yuki: First of all, this and this, try adjusting the sweatsuit lightly. 

Taichi: ——How is it!?

Yuki: Your legs are so masculine!

Izumi: Zero’s costume was the one with the legs out right.

Yuki: Zero’s lively personality matched with the vibe Taichi’s legs give off, but the image this time is a bit different. 

If they are put out as usual, it’ll definitely look manlike. The makeup will be mismatched and out of place.

Taichi: I’ll lose my muscles before the performance~.

Banri: Building muscles might be within your reach, but isn’t it impossible to lose them?

Taichi: Uh, maybe if I try not to use them as much as possible…? 

Azami: You might not be able to move your body when you’re Noah.

Taichi: Ah~ That’s right!

Yuki: I’m not even asking for you to do something in particular. Just don’t gain any more muscles.

Since I’ll style the costumes according to Taichi’s body shape to match the hair makeup. Tighten his waist with a corset for example… 

I think it might work if we cover his broad shoulders with a jacket, and show his skin with knee-high boots.

Izumi: That sounds great!

Taichi: As expected of Yuki-chan!

Yuki: Even if you only show the very least of your skin, I think the key here is that you can create a sexy look of the wicked woman. 

Banri: I see… So there are various ways.

Azami: It’s also the same with different skin qualities though, it’s difficult to match because there are differences between men and women’s body shapes.

Yuki: It’s worth thinking about how to style the costumes for each roles considering actors’ body type anyway, I’m even more fired up. 

Izumi: That’s the best part of being a costume designer, right.

Yuki: Taichi too, if you perform on stage in the costumes that are fit into your body, you’ll be able to act with confidence, won’t you.

Taichi: Yuki-chan!!

Banri: Our costume designer is really reliable.

Azami: (You’ll be more confident if wearing outfits that look good on you…)

Izumi: Well then, I’m looking forward to the costumes too.

Yuki: Leave it to me.

Azami: …Yuki-san, there’s something I’d like to talk to you about.

haha rinne's acting real gay with this guy i wonder what their deal is (re: mainstory interactions where himeru says the whole convo was a waste of breath and rinne says what you want me to kiss you to give you that air back?)

eternal torment nexus for this one. he's everything to me and i want him to be happy but to be happy is first to suffer and be totally bare to your friends and let them into your life. at least tatsumi pretends to do that.

Favorite thing about that character

i think the way we still know almost nothing about oremeru as a person. odd thing to say about a character but we know his motivations for taking over for his brother and can theorize about some aspects of his "true" self but in reality he's still such a mystery and i want to know more about him. i have high hopes for the new event.

Least favorite thing

uhm. nothing because i think his flaws are also funny as fuck

Favorite line/scene

any time he talks about kaname in his head, wondering what kaname would think and how he's holding a space for kaname. just because the world doesn't remember you doesn't mean that i don't. i'm sorry i couldn't tell you i love you soon enough.

Favorite interaction that character has with another

PASTEL B BROTHERS i'm so excited they canonized an in universe name for him and kohaku. they're so cute together and ohhhh kohaku being not a kaname replacement but oremeru being more emotionally aware of what teenagers want/need out of the adults in their lives and trying to do his best but not wanting to give up his act. the way kohaku said that himeru will softly smile as he helps kohaku with stuff in the main story when they think crazyb is going to be disbanded and how they're all family despite only knowing each other for a short time.

A character that I wish that character would interact with more

another madara answer but partially bc i wonder what he really thinks about double face's activities when they were active. we saw niki's perspective on that but given himeru's past. i do wonder how he would treat madara knowing the full extent of those activities.

Another character from another fandom that reminds me of that character

A headcanon about that character

himeru was in his college's drama club to learn more about acting outside of what the priest taught him for impersonation. he was never quite cut out for the lead but uhm. you haven't seen a3 but i think he'd take on roles similar to what homare does.

A song that reminds of that character

i left you a note by chad lawson it was the season 2 theme for unobscured and it's just instrumentals but it fits him i think. at least the more melancholic aspects of him.

An unpopular opinion about that character

this is more about crazyb in general but the fact that there are still people who think all of them need to be "saved" from rinne is insane. all of them have the ability to just fucking leave. himeru had a solo career before this he can find a new unit if he really wanted to. they're there because they want to be. if you like all of a unit but one member and think they suck then you do not understand that unit's dynamics sorry everyone is in their current units for a reason.

would it be too cheap to say his newest event card unbloomed. the trip album framed in the background. kaname's hand. what would you do in this situation.

LOVE the sk8 infinity event story (even though i know nothing about sk8 infinity but) i loooove kyutai and they were so cute and silly in this event, i love their synergy so much

also 2nd anniversary event story, SPECIFICALLY autumn part of it, it's SOOOO unbelievably cute, i've drawn it before because of how cute baby aki are 🥺

it's also such a typical answer for me but the first halloween event has a grip on me, you can't expect me NOT to mention it

i'm doing multiple because you CAN'T expect me to choose only one </3 (not including birthday SSRs because, again, that would be most of them)

i mean, again, not beating any allegations

gotta be initial taichi SSR where taichi and izumi are watching a tv drama and banri accidentally spoils it for them and taichi gets super upset and runs off but when izumi goes looking for him (and after some good (/s) ol' fashioned otome material liber was trying to push for the first 2 years of a3) and brings him back, turns out he wasn't Really upset and was just kinda pretending to get back at banri

i like this card story bc it's one of the first instances we see showing that banri is Not actually an asshole and he was genuinely feeling guilty when he let the spoiler slip out and he thought taichi hated him now (and also considering that NOW, after years, we know that banri didn't really have friends when he was younger, it must have seriously given him an "i fucked up again" moment when he upset taichi)

other ones i also love but not in so much detail:

taichi's darts SSR: bantai date! very cute interactions

banri's SHP N character study: banri learning how to operate with hair covering his eye and getting his studies from hisoka lol, very cute when he bumps into juza bc he can't see

taichi's mankai memory SSR: baby taichi so cute!!!!

to be fair, all of mankai memory SSRs, they're ALL so very cute (but especially: hisoka (in a painful way </3), banri (lmao at the missing puzzle piece = juza allegory, can you be any less subtle ajfjskcn), kumon, and omi)

augh i could talk about mankai memory all day </3 but yes that should do

A3! reading club: prologue

Starting off with a prolepsis is a nice technique, although I think it's interesting that only Harugumi gets spotlighted here. Probably to avoid spoilers from later troupes.... Either way, I love how Sakuya's observations serve as an introduction to the other members. Masumi's cool-headed, Tsuzuru won't rest until his scripts are perfect, Itaru's anxious about pulling this off successfully (he does care :')), and Citron's a man of mystery.

I never really thought about this before, but I like that the prologue establishes that Izumi has the experience and knowledge necessary to qualify as a theater director. She's not just diving in headfirst with no idea what she's doing.

Also, this whole "street act" thing sends me every time it's mentioned. Veludo Way has to be a tourist destination, surely Izumi's not the first person to freak out over someone faking an illness. You know those horror stories about comedians dying of heart attacks on-stage bc the audience thought they were doing A Bit; this seems like a disaster waiting to happen. What if you got into an argument with someone and a bunch of strangers started clapping.

At least Tasuku's nice enough to come over and make sure Izumi's alright. He's not going to be really relevant for a good long while, but we're already establishing that he does care about other people, despite Godza's "every man for himself" culture.

Oh, Tsuzuru, just be glad you're not a college student in the US. >_>

Sakyo, you JUST recognized the first and only person you had a crush on, the daughter of Yukio himself, and you're telling her to get lost? Why? Are you trying to save Izumi from the heartbreak of caring about something futile? Because if so, you absolutely suck at it.

Izumi's reactions are the best. Also, shout-out to Sakai-san for being able to pull off "bad at acting" without dissolving into the 100% flat monotone typical when actors try to play bad actors. You can tell Sakuya's trying, but his pauses are placed just randomly enough to be awkward. From an acting standpoint, that's got to be incredibly hard to pull off.

This makes me wince. In retrospect, it's so obvious how much Sakyo cares about this theater. He was willing to pause the demolition project for the absolutely miniscule chance that Matsukawa had somehow, miraculously, secured a bestselling performance. Of course he hasn't, but the fact that Sakyo was still willing to give him one more chance speaks volumes.

Unfortunately, he's also a realist, and he's right. People love touting "hard work" as the only thing an artist needs to succeed, but without money, most people simply don't have the financial stability to really dedicate themselves to their craft. It's harsh, it sucks, and it's unfair, but it's also true. I don't remember if we get Sakyo's backstory in the main story or a later event, but going off it it makes sense that this is the additude he's adopted.

This hits harder after finding out Sakuya basically ran away from home :(. Not like he couldn't go back to his aunt and uncle, but that's got to be crushing.

I love how Izumi is mentally pspspsing Matsukawa SO HARD to back her up, just like he did with her earlier. There is a single braincell ping-ponging between these two and Sakyo's just watching this trainwreck.

Sakuya's reaction to Matsukawa saying he cooks all the food is gold. Ofc he's too polite to say it outright, but the fact that even Sakuya feels the need to warn Izumi about Matsukawa's culinary skills is just. So funny.

Speaking of which, I think it's interesting how Sakuya's (known optimist and sunshine child) first reaction to realizing Izumi was lying is a despondent "Does that mean the troupe is going under after all?" He immediately cheers up and snatches the smidge of hope offered to him, but this little piece of character writing goes a long way in setting up his hopefulness as something that isn't based on naivety.

I'm running out of screenshots and too far in to consider making another post, but gosh. Masumi, I love you, but you are making it REALLY easy to remember why I didn't at first. I will concede that his blushing and not being able to look Izumi in the eyes is cute, though. If there was more of that and less of...this, I might have warmed up to him a lot earlier.

Also, Tsuzuru agreeing to join after finding out there's free food is an absolute Mood. Five minutes of screen time and he's already a voice for college students everywhere.

The last few minutes are pretty much what we'd expect - Tsuzuru (very conveniently) says he's a scriptwriter, Izumi eagerly accepts the free labor before he can join a union (I'm joking, I'm joking.), they run back to the theater and Sakyo says he'll give them one more chance. The conditions won't be revealed until the next chapter, but it really is a testament to Sakyo's love for Mankai just how lenient he's being. A month might be cutting it pretty close when prepping for a play, but Sakyo's a debt broker in the freaking Yakuza, and almost definitely acting as a middleman between this company and someone higher up. Ofc the Yakuza here are a lot more lighthearted than the ones in real life, but that's still got to be incredibly risky.

so there's lucifer, lucifaa, and... lucio? though that last guy may just be lucifer or lucifaa's beach mode, i'm not sure. i've literally only seen him with sunglasses i think.

anyways. i come bearing riddles three! not riddles. just things. the first two are: well. hm. to be a bit shameless i posted two a3 fics on ao3 lately so. if youd like to have a gander at them they are There. so onto #3: i went through a springtime snooze! just a few thoughts regarding that:

firstly i almost went and watched conquering misoshiosa island by accident instead lol. luckily they mentioned the spring winter trip and i was like huh... i dont remember that event... and then i realized my mistake. the intro scene was very nice. specifically hisoka sleeping up in a tree. and the fact that tasuku knew that he was there.

it did make me think tho like. i REALLY have got to make a chart that lists out how each character calls each character. like yuki calls tenma "hack" but has he ever called him just tenma before? who knows... it's difficult writing fic!! >< (if u know of a chart that exists already please do let me know lol like. i'll make one if i have to but i'd rather not. though the chart probably has azami and guy on it huh... is that spoilers......)

anyways im obsessed with chikage being like. ah it would be good to have data for my incredibly shady spy work and tsuzuru reacting to it by calling him technology-addicted along with itaru. never change my guy. this is why i think the tsuzuru & chikage dynamic has so much potential it's bc like In My Head chikage is like. how did this man write a play that was incredibly targeted towards my own issues... who Is He... and he doesnt realize that tsuzuru kind of does this to everyone and therefore chikage is kind of Just Some Guy to him. i mean there's like nuance to it but i enjoy the idea of this.

i'd known the trip was expensive because they mentioned it in the next event, but the moment azuma took care of trip planning i was like. ah. that's how they got past sakyo. like if anyone would just lie to sakyo's face. it'd be him. doesn't sakyo assume azuma's yakuza at some point.

I also love that tasuku was in charge of the like training parts because. well I assume that means azuma talked with him about timing somewhat and it's like oh... they're bonding post-nocturnality... like when they're doing the family skit later and azuma and tasuku r both parents i was just sitting there like oh! them!! also loved chikage ribbing tasuku a little by suggested he be the mom. not as outside the box as either of them think tho imo but. i kind of really enjoy him being a little shit since he was so empty smiles at the beginning.

also citron getting them all to do red light green light was so fun. like considering how he mentioned being gifted dango at the beginning its just so delightful to me that citron like. seems to interact with so many people and make friends. he's lovely. also liked that tasuku made it into practice. it's like yeah ofc the guy who (with tsumugi) was like. our free time away from theatre is extra theatre (have a great trip) it makes perfect sense.

i thought masumi was trying to take a secret picture of everyone for izumi, not like... be her first instagram like, but that's kind of like. so stupid yet teenager-charming you know. i actually really liked this event in terms of how masumi was? like he's not... mean to everybody in favor of izumi, you know. and it was sweet seeing everyone like pay attention to him and take care of him. hisoka finding him a napping spot was so nice and the cg was so cute!!! just so peaceful. i also loved the small moment where chikage and hisoka met up in the dead of night. it was just. rly nice to see chikage be like oh how can i help. its like... theyre brothers!!! (wait. hang on. is the reason theyre called gekkabros bc gekka is like. month or something. sudden realization i was just like huh wow its close to gekkan shoujo....)

i was so not normal about tsuzuru's 180 on his poor family plotline. like the rags to riches was just. one the guy is clearly going thru it two i just had sever mizuno thoughts. do u ever think tsuzuru dreamed about winning it big on the lottery and seeing mizuno again. and then felt deeply angry and frustrated at himself for even considering it. I don’t think that guy has bought a lotto ticket in his life actually. but he must’ve known in heart that was why they weren’t friends. anyways him as a southern belle was. hilarious. should've been one of the cards like. imagine him dressed as. you know the really old fancy shoujo wakamatsu reads in gsnk (ch 14 or 23 show examples) i imagine him like that. speaking of gsnk every once in a while i pretend that kashima yuzo and kashima yuu are related just bc i think it would be fun. i'm glad people laughed. honestly for all izumi said it was unrealistic i felt that was very like. New Money vibes.

sakyo finding out they lied was such a good moment like. when izumi got a video call request i out loud said "oh. he's right behind me, isn't he" so seeing them be like izumi look at whos right behind kazunari made me laugh very hard. love that sakyo calls out azuma and chikage in specific abt doing shady forgery. like azuma what a Vibe u have. i

anyways. just a nice event! sorry abt sakyo's wrath but i'm glad everyone had a good time. it’s late where I am so sorry if I said anything incoherent… autumns up next!! excited :)

HELPPP yes indeed, it's Lucifer, Lucifaa/Lucilius, and then Lucio. Lucio is his own separate character to the other two yes. But yeah he's famous for his beach look especially since it drives Sandalphon crazy and Lucio is a messy bitch who loves drama. those are the three Lucifaces. so you're already good remembering them!!

The yaycupcake pages do list at least the general nickname by character if you check the relationship tab, but it's from the fantranslation rather than the official EN translation (for example for Yuki: https://yaycupcake.com/a3/index.php?title=Yuki_Rurikawa#tab=Relationships it shows you the list of characters, how Yuki is addressed as by these characters, and how Yuki addresses them as, as well as the name of their relationship in the Coin Talk corner. But yeah it'll be fantranslation, so you'll see "Hack" translated "Useless Actor" for example) idk if there's a chart with the official nicknames though. and it doesn't help for like, how regularly they call each other that way, esp for like "when does Yuki stop using the nicknamme" yaknow? but yeah also any charts will include Guy and Azami on the lists, and while for Azami it should be clear for you, Guy will come with spoilers for certain.

to answer you, Yuki usually calls Tenma 'hack" so often that the one of the few times he did call him Tenma (when Tenma came back to the troupe after his father forced him to leave in the first summer chap) Tenma is shocked Yuki calls him by his name.

on some easy ones for fics if it helps, Sakyo and Tasuku for instance always refers to everyone by their last names, except for the chara without last name (obviously), and, in Tasuku's case, Tsumugi who's called by his first name, and Azuma who's called "Azuma-san" no matter what, and for Sakyo, Azami who's called usually his name or "bon" / "kid". This type of details. (it's silly but it does sometimes happen to me that i see Tasuku being written in fancontent where he refers to chara by their first name and it breaks my immersion like "he wouldn't say that." terrible icha moment.)

AND HELPP I LOVE WHAT YOU SAY ABOUT CHIKAGE and especially his dynamic with Tsuzuru. Tsuzuru making him Just Some Guy because he does that with everyone while Chikage is in full blown spy worry about it all. priceless. And i do love the way Tsuzuru puts him on the same level of Itaru. Pros: you keep your secret. Cons: you're considered a gamer trash just like your roommate.

Azuma being evil on purpose <3 the absolute disaster duo that Chikage and Azuma made this whole event like yes we're going to manipulate Sakyo into it, no worries, we have it covered. And yeah there's an early backstage (Azuma's first SR, [About to Bloom] - "A Lively Home") where they play a sort of boardgame where they have to build a Yakuza empire, and Azuma comes in like "oh i'm not sure i know how to play" before just destroying everyone and coming toe to toe with Sakyo in term of how to build an empire. And everyone is a bit shocked except Sakyo who's like "yeah no, makes sense to me, i've met yakuza with the same behavior he has, and they're the most terrifying ones because you never know what to expect out of them". and then Azuma replies "i would never do anything bad. maybe you want to see it for yourself, in my bed, tonight, i can be so gentle." and Sakyo stares at him, dead inside. So yeah Azuma, official menace, that Sakyo sees as "at his full potential, he could be a dangerous yakuza type." And Azuma knows it and uses it against Sakyo and it's brilliant.

And waaa what you bring up about Tasuku's training parts that's so sweet. any bonding between those two is always nice. And yeah loving Chikage's whole "you forced me to join your found family so now i'm going to become your own personal menace" character arc. he opens up one teasing at a time and it's so sweet.

Citron is sooo good aahh he's always so so good. And Tasuku always managing to make all of those things some more theater addict moment god bless him;

and yeah aahh so true for Masumi. The first time i read it i actually was so found of Masumi the whole time and then learning he was just waiting to be the first to like Izumi's insta post kinda bummed me out because the scenes were really soft about how he is less mean to people and enjoy being with them more and is definitely growing closer to them at his own rhythm that it made me sad to make it back about Izumi again, but you're right it still fits him so well and it's still sweet, and the interpersonal relationship development is still there so it's so nice.

the CG was so so sweet!! and Hisoka joining it was adorable. and yeah sobs i loved the Chikage and Hisoka scene it's so soft. AND HDLFKJD YEAH. YEAH… "Gekka" is a way to say "moon" which is also the way to say "month" (since the writting for "month" is the writting for "moon" in Japanese as well). So they are "the months" and "the moons". In Chikage's first solo, when he says "All alone beneath the moon, aah I'm filled with thoughts of you", the term he uses is "Gekka" as well. "gekka" tends to specifically ties them back to the organization in general. the usual term being used online about them is therefore Gekkagumi (gumi being how to say "troupe", re fuyugumi = winter troupe), and when we want to especially refers to them being brothers we call them gekkabros ahah

AND HELPP THAT'S SO TRUE POOR TSUAURU. and oh god i love this scenario so much. I could see yeah, Tsuzuru would never have bought a lotto ticket bc with their money situation they would need to focus everything on making sure the kids are all well cared for, and he didn't have money to leave to chance and would find it preposturous. But with how much he loves to fantasize i could totally imagine him wondering sometimes if maybe winning big, getting rich, would bring him closer to Mizuno again. He knew it was never Mizuno's intends and that it was his parents that tore them apart, so i could honestly see Tsuzuru put together that their class divide was probably a reason why, and perhaps ending up thinking about what if this gap could be filled even like that yaknow? but yeah i feel like he'd probably try to stay as rational as he can about all of this :( ANd HELPP I LOVE THE IDEA. Tsuzuru dressing in fancy dresses would be amazing i want him. Yuzo and Kashima being related would be hilarious. and hey, Kashima is also a theater kid, so why not having her related to Yuzo. It works out. It explains so much about why she'd be like this. And yeah it was really fun aahh

AND HELPP YEAH. YEAH. The moment Sakyo catches them in the lie is so funny. They really just ended up betraying themselves so readily. and i love how Sakyo knew how to single out those two, while also they were the two being all ":)? us? we did nothing wrong :) except for all the attrocities :) but it is nothing :)" meanwhile some of the rest could easily freak out because "oh Sakyo is going to kill us".

Honestly that CHIKAGE ends up being like that, as a spy, yeah, sure, alright even, but Azuma is so funny since he's supposed to be more on the normal side. Azuma you shouldn't be standing to the same level as a yakuza and a spy in term of "chill over lying and fooling people with forgery". He's so cool.

I'm glad you had fun with the event!! <3 And yeah, the good time but at the price of Sakyo's anger. worth it.

Sakuya: Nothing, really. It’s not like we’re doing anything special, but Lu and I are celebrating our first anniversary soon! It’s not much, but it’s exciting to think about.

Citron: A whole year! You must do something to celebrate, yes?

Sakuya: Well, Lu said she had a small plan, and I’d like to try and sleep on stage together again. We don’t have to do a lot, really, I’m happy just being with her for that day!

Citron: No, no! It is a special event, you must do more!

Sakuya: I don’t know, I think just being together is enough…

Citron: That is not true! Sakuya, I will have to inter-spear with your plan!

Sakuya: Citron, wait!

Citron: You must hear what Sakuya has said! He does not want to do anything with his beautiful partner for their anniversary!

Itaru: And? Sounds about right. 

Chikage: It’s not something to call a meeting over, that’s typical Sakuya. 

Tsuzuru: I’m sure he’d be happier if you didn’t pull anything, too. 

Masumi: Yeah, they’re like that. 

Citron: No, no! They deserve a for filling experience!

Itaru: A fulfilling experience, sure, but it’s not like we can just send them overseas or something.

Chikage: …That’s not a bad idea, actually.

Tsuzuru: Don’t tell me you’re actually considering it?!

Chikage: It’s not impossible, I’d just have to find a few loopholes.

Itaru: Still, that’s pricey as hell…

Chikage: Alright, then we’ll keep them in the country?

Tsuzuru: You’re serious about this plan, huh…?

Citron: He must be! It will be the best anniversary gift ever!

Tsuzuru: I can’t be the only one thinking this is crazy, right?

Masumi: It’d be funny. 

Tsuzuru: Would it? Would it really?

Itaru: I mean, kinda. 

Chikage: Jokes aside, do you all have any ideas as to where they’d want to go?

Citron: Oh! I know of one!

Citron: Lucille did not get to see Sakuya’s childhood home, correct? She should get to see it!

Tsuzuru: Wouldn’t that be kinda insensitive if they both didn’t know about it?

Chikage: True, but it feels right to let him introduce her to his parents.

Itaru: He has a point, it’d be nice and sentimental for them. Pretty cheesy, too, just the way they like it. 

Citron: That is exact! 

Tsuzuru: Sure, why not, let’s just randomly send them to Hokkaido without their knowledge nor permission, this is fine and normal. 

Citron: That is the spirit! 

Chikage: Well, we’d have to drop the plan on at least one of them first, right?

Itaru: True. 

Chikage: Then, let’s get started.

I don’t know how to explain this in a cohesive way that doesn’t sound like I’m insane but this silly little actor visual novel has a canon furry event. All of the characters have canon fursonas. Okay, let me explain. Every year, the April fool’s event involves an AU, just for fun. Other years have included a host club, magic school, time travel, a fighting game, etc. This one was an AU where all the characters were animals, and it was by far the most extensive, given that it had its own full-blown event as opposed to a single card and side story like in the past. I couldn’t tell you if Kazunari counts given the submission rules and A3!’s circumstances, but it would be cool if he got in as A3! is generally a smaller franchise.

Speaking of Masumi, I was thinking about the A3!xSanrio collab event & his collab w/ Kuromi, which ended up being a perfect match & it incorporated Masumi’s headphones in the unbloomed version of his card. Though it does make me think that the design aspect is a coincidence when Fragaria Memories chara designs where released. But do you think whenever there is a collab w/ Sanrio, Kuromi sometimes gets paired w/ someone that’s a bit tech savvy?

Unrelated in TWST, the 1st half of the Savanaclaw Dream Ch. was interesting (& I think they put a tiny promo about an upcoming movie in Ruggie’s dream). Though I’m worried about what’s gonna happen in the 2nd half of the story next week.

Evie and Lucille are both Synths so they are both resistant to radiation. All 4 have some form of chronic pain from the build up of injuries. Aidan has had the longest exposure to radiation of all of them

Alicia - Kind but reserved. Outside of the persona she puts on as General Clarke she is quiet and thoughtful, but blind to anything involving her family

Evie - Friendly and passionate. Perceptive ones would get the feeling she's trying to hide something.

Aidan - Blunt and Loyal. Bleeding heart buried deep deep down. Those who are close to him are all that matter and he would die to protect them

Lucille - Timid but good-humoured. In combat she is ruthless.

30. What decisions have they made or actions have they done that affect their canon wasteland? (Did they blow up Megaton, have they killed/spared any major characters, etc.)

Derailed takes place before the events of F4. Its events lead to Boomer becoming the leader of Outpost Zimonja and certain events aid Evie and the Railroad in Liar Liar’s timeline, such as the awareness of the fall of Augusta safehouse.

Alicia is the Sole Survivor and completes Acts 1 & 2 and all that entails (saving Nick, killing Kellogg, Entering the Institute etc) and also helps with various side quests and companions (Nick, MacCready etc)

Whilst the Institute is suspicious of Bunker Hill, M4-29 (later Evie) confirms Railroad activities there and leads directly to the eventual Battle of Bunker Hill, though her own self-preservation means that the Institute never gets names or faces. She completes the Railroad quest line from Boston After Dark onwards, whilst Alicia completes the Institute quest line.

Alicia - at first it was her 10mm, modded to all hell. Then once she joined the institute she favoured laser weaponry

Lucille - Lucille has a scavenged 10mm she bartered from Tenpines Bluff. After the events of Derailed she favours a shotgun
