Thiết kế tổng thể quá ấn tượng

iPad Pro series mới đến từ nhà Táo khuyết có thiết kế không thay đổi nhiều so với mẫu iPad Pro 2018. Với điểm nhấn là thiết kế phẳng ở cả mặt trước và sau, 4 cạnh viền bo cong vuông vức, viền màn hình mỏng và không có nút home truyền thống cho cảm giác tổng thể máy liền mạch hơn. Điểm mình nhìn nhận trên những tiền nhiệm của dòng sản phẩm chính là sự mỏng và nhẹ của chúng, tuy nhiên việc đánh đổi là phần thân máy có cảm giác khá dễ bị uốn cong, thậm chí trong trường hợp không mong muốn có thể bị gập gãy. 

Rất hy vọng khi có sản phẩm thực tế trên tay để mình có thể trải nghiệm nhiều hơn về độ chắc chắn của phần thân máy. Đây cũng là điểm làm mình quan tâm nhất.

Ở mặt sau điểm nhấn chính là cụm 3 camera giống bộ đôi iPhone 11 Pro và iPhone 11 Pro Max. Ở phía dưới của iPad Pro 2020 sẽ có cụm ba chấu nam châm dùng để kết nối với bàn phím Magic Keyboard.

Mặt trước của iPad Pro chứa camera selfie và các cảm biến hỗ trợ mở khóa gương mặt Face ID.

Máy sở hữu cụm 4 loa được đặt đối xứng ở cả hai cạnh trên và dưới. Cạnh trên chứa nút nguồn, cũng như có thể gọi trợ lí ảo Siri bằng cách nháy đúp hai lần vào nút nguồn, mic thoại cũng được đặt ở cạnh trên này. Cạnh trái chứa cụm phím tăng giảm âm lượng và đế nam châm để sạc, cũng như giữ bút Apple Pencil được chắc chắn hơn. Cạnh dưới chứa hai loa khác và cổng USB-C.

Bàn phím này được thiết kế có thể điều chính góc nghiêng dao động trong khoảng 130 độ, giúp phù hợp với nhiều đối tượng người dùng. Magic Keyboard cũng được trang bị đèn nền, giúp việc gõ phím trong bóng tối được dễ dàng và chính xác hơn.

Màn hình tràn viền, giải trí siêu đã

iPad Pro 2020 sẽ có hai phiên bản màn hình là 11 inch và 12.9 inch. Cả hai đều được trang bị màn hình Liquid Retina có độ phân giải 2.388 x 1.668 pixel, với tốc độ làm tươi 120 Hz, True Tone, hỗ trợ không gian màu P3 và công nghệ ProMotion.

Cấu hình quá khủng

iPad Pro 2020 series sử dụng chip mới là Apple A12Z Bionic, bao gồm GPU 8 lõi với kiến trúc kiểm soát nhiệt mới và hệ thống điều khiển được tối ưu hóa cho hiệu suất tốt hơn. Ngoài ra, chip này cũng được trang bị 8 lõi CPU, tích hợp modem LTE gigabit cho tốc độ nhanh hơn 60% và cải thiện thời gian sử dụng pin lên đến 10 giờ.

Chip A12Z được thiết kế tối ưu cho các tác vụ nặng như render video 4K, thiết kế các mô hình 3D. Apple khẳng định rằng iPad Pro 2020 mạnh hơn hầu hết các laptop Windows.

Hiện tại iPad Pro series đều được trang bị 6 GB RAM, có nhiều tùy chọn bộ nhớ lưu trữ cho cả hai mẫu iPad mới là 11 inch và 12.9 inch. Thấp nhất là 128 GB, cao nhất là 1 TB, ngoài ra còn có hai biến thể nữa là 256 GB và 512 GB.

Bạn có thể chọn kiểu máy Wifi hoặc Wifi + LTE. Lưu ý rằng iPad Pro 2020 chỉ hỗ trợ 4G thay vì hỗ trợ kết nối 5G như Samsung Galaxy Tab S6, hy vọng thế hệ iPad tiếp theo sẽ được hỗ trợ kết nối 5G.

iPad Pro sẽ có giá bán dao động từ 800 USD đến 1.200 USD (theo giá thị trường Quốc Tế) tùy kích thước màn hình và kết nối khác nhau. Cụ thể:

iPad Pro launch information came with a surprise. Apple will refresh the gadget this year using the M1 chip and not the A14X as speculated by fans. Meanwhile, the tech giant also confirmed several upgrades that have been in the headlines for months, including a much-improved display and 5G connectivity.

Same Processor As The Latest MacBooks

In the weeks leading to the product launch, the high-end tablets were rumored to be powered by the A14X chip. The processor was described as having technical capabilities at almost the same level as the M1 chip.

However, Apple announced during its hour-long virtual presentation that the new iPad Pro tablets are actually powered by the M1 chip. The same processor that powers the latest MacBook Pro, MacBook Air, Mac mini, and the new 24-inch iMac is also going to power the high-end tablets.

For a refresher, the M1 chip is composed of an 8-core CPU, 8-core GPU, and 16-core Neural Engine. Apple is not cutting corners, and all these will be present in the 2021 iPad Pro’s processor. The company said this allows the latest tablets to function with a CPU capacity that is 75 times more powerful than the first generation of iPad Pro.

Tech fans have also been expecting the 12.9-inch iPad Pro to sport a mini-LED display, which Apple confirmed on Tuesday. But the more accurate descriptor of the device’s screen is “Liquid Retina XDR display”. As the name suggests, it will borrow features from the Pro XDR Display to deliver more detailed images.

As for the mini-LED aspect of the 12.9 iPad Pro’s display, Apple revealed that its screen sports 10,000 mini-LED lights across 2,500 local dimming zones. Note that its predecessor only had 75 LEDs for backlighting. With the upgrade, the bigger model can reach a peak brightness of up to 1,600 nits and a 1,000,000:1 contrast ratio.

The 11-inch iPad Pro, on the other hand, will still sport the typical Liquid Retina display. The good news is the ProMotion adaptive 120Hz refresh rate remains a standard feature for both tablets.

Release Date

The newest iPad Pro is now on Apple’s official website. Fans can now review the pricing and the complete technical specifications sheet. They will, however, not be able to order until Friday, April 30th.

The 11-inch iPad Pro’s price starts at $799 (128GB). Meanwhile, the more enticing 12.9-inch variant will cost at least $1,099 (128GB). Apple has yet to provide a specific release date. However, it was announced that it would happen within the second half of May.
