I was today's years old when I realized Hen's line in 3x15 "So we can end up with two cut lines?" wasn't a somewhat serious, comedic relief thing about Buck's recklessness or something (or not entirely), but a very real possibility that if Buck went down there, and he couldn't rescue Eddie, or if he was already dead, Buck would cut his own line to die down there with him.

And now I'm not ok.

Anyone else went down there and couldn't save Eddie, or they were too late, they'd still come back up, grief and all. But not Buck. He would never leave without Eddie.

If Buck was too late and Eddie was dead, he would cling to his dead body and try to carry him up with him. And if he found him trapped or mortally wounded, he would never leave his side. Hen was right; they would end up with two cut lines, because Evan Buck Buckley would rather die than leave Eddie behind - dead or alive.

And Eddie adding Buck to his will, it wasn't just for Chris's sake. Maybe at first. But the moment he told Buck, it was to protect Buck from Buck. Because he knew Buck was reckless and he thought of himself as expendable, but also, because Eddie probably realized (like Hen) that if he died, Buck would follow him into the dark (with nothing and no one to live for - "What does Buck have?"). So he told him about the will... to keep him alive. No matter what.

Chrys was a really fun narrator to write because she cares so deeply about the fact that Amanita was apparently real and experiencing thoughts . Before the game even proved to her that there was anything truly weird happening she abided by Amanita's wishes to not evolve initially, only putting it aside when she was worried she was just being silly (and immediately attempting to rectify it when it was revealed she wasn't). She unironically loved Amanita so much and is like . The whole reason they didn't turn into a murdermon or something upon evolving. Because she felt guilty for putting Amanita through this before they even evolved. She never thought Amanita themself was scary or gross, and even when Amanita was a disturbing Hyperrealistic Blood monster she only ever wanted to help and to make Amanita happy

What I'm saying is that Chrys could've done Glitchy Red Retold even better than Glitchy_Anon but Glitchy_Anon would've killed Parasect!Amanita on sight /J

I am not saying that zuko is sokkas substitute for kya. or they look in any way similar! The whole concept here is that something was happening at the moment, be it how they were laying in bed, how the hair pooled over the pillow, or how sokka was able to hold onto it. It just brought sokka back. It triggered a memory, and suddenly he relived a brief memory. Making him suddenly miss his mother again. hope you enjoy!
