The horrifying realisation I never told Tumblr about Cosmic Moonrise. And then the realisation that it involves talking about the Fazteam Cosmic Rangers lore. Oh gee oh man, I'll try keep this as non autistic as possible.

In GITM, fazco made a 80'/90's children's TV anime-like called Fazteam Cosmic Rangers, it's essentially lost media by the time the fic starts in 2055. Cosmic Moonrise is one of the hero characters who became corrupted in the TV show, becoming the villain we know as Noon. That's why he looks different. Noon is a theme park animatronic made to be the villain version of this character.

What if people found out about reader being the creator, would they be hunted again? What if people came to melusine village in an attempt kill the creator/ imposter how would FL react, what if he wasn't there? How would the creator survive especially considering how they are physically less capable of escaping since the only thing they can really do is swim better, but hose with visions can swim and breathe underwater, now that the creator has been found to be a melamine, how would the rest of Teyvat feel about melusines now finding out that the imposter was hiding among them? How difficult do you think it would be for the creator to survive now that they've been found out?

see, the reason people wanted to kill you is because they believed you were impersonating the true Creator, which many of them view as a crime. the reincarnation would clear any doubts, the one who hurt and killed you realizing in the blink of an eye that oh Archons, you're ACTUALLY the Creator. and thus begins a different type of hunt- one to track down the Creator so the people of Teyvat can worship you and repent for their sins. you and Foul Legacy are extremely unamused to say the least, especially since several of these people were the cause for your suffering in the first place. all you want is to live a peaceful life away from mostly everyone, apart from your siblings and a select few individuals, not to mention that the other Melusine aren't very keen on having their village invaded, nor seeing you constantly harassed

luckily, you have a few advantages- only Vision users can breathe underwater, and even fewer know where the home of the Melusine is. no matter how much someone pleads and bargains, none of the other Melusine will even give them a single hint, and Neuvillette is even more tight lipped, only giving them a stern, unmoving glare. the friends you've made at the House of the Hearth are always on guard, ready to warn you at a moment's notice, and if someone still finds you, somehow... well, they're met with a viciously protective Abyssal beast guarding you and the village. so for now, you're safe- because Neuvillette is on your side, the people of Fontaine have relented their efforts to find you, even if the Melusine do regard the humans with more suspicion now. they know that you'd much rather be taking a nap in Foul Legacy's arms than acting as any sort of grand authority, and as your siblings, they intend to help you keep it that way
