some simple (but plentiful!!!) sprites for you all today. just some outfit swaps! the alpha kids did not get nearly enough cool outfits, so i decided to see what they'd look like with some modified beta kid outfits. some look decent, but others look very nice! i also did it the other way around too, because whynot.
(sorry i think i'll stop with the colored text thing in default text, it was So Cool but it was also really time consuming @_@)

I think it'd be fun if a non-Cure from one season got a transformation item from another season.
Like, if the HapCharge and GoPri Cures were fighting some new guy near Noble Academy and Yui ends up getting her own PreChange Mirror. Or if Regina (I like Cure Joker but just ignore her for a minute) got a Sky Mirage from Ellee. Or if the Max Heart Cures are helping protect the Healin' Garden and Shiho and Rina get their own Healin' Animal partners. Maybe Syrup could get a PreHeart and be a mailman themed Cure.
And design wise, they could all pull a Cure Echo and mix each season's designs. Yui could have the distinctive vest of the Happiness Charge Cures and everything else would be in line with the Go! Princess designs. Regina could maybe share some design cues from Cure Ace? I'm not completely sure what Hirogaru aspects she would get. But functionally, they would have the powers of whatever season their transformation device comes from.

#silm#silmarillion#feanorions#maedhros#maglor#celegorm#caranthir#curufin#mae's design changed a good amount#his color palette shifted more towards greys and dark orange though sometimes i still put him in purple#maglor is pretty much the same#just switched some colors and restyled his hair a bit#celegorm is also the same#caranthirs design clothes wise changed a lot though i might still use this one for formalwear#curufins clothes also ended up more casual#interesting how the detail of maedhros having the fancy embroidery lasted this long#and maglor having a slightly anachronistic waistcoat considering ive been trying to keep armor styles mid 15th century europe#but oh well its a part of him now#the inverted circlet was also an interesting find#i dont think it shows up in any of my recent designs?#celegorms orome tattoos actually are part of the foundation behind my idea of unique valarin face markings

#hollow knight#little ghost#hk ghost#the knight#i've seen an artist colour the inside of ghost's cloak with a bright light blue that looked really pretty#so i wanted to try it myself!#i also wanted to do a contrast-y complementary colours thing#and blue for ghost and orange for the infection globs fit perfectly! plus blue and orange is the best-looking complementary colour pair imo#though the drawing also looks really nice with just a white background so i might post that separately some other time too

half my first paycheck went to these beauties and I DO NOT regret it XD
#I want to actually get resin so that I can make my own dice and stop spending upwards of $70 on the pretty ones#But that isn't going to happen anytime soon. So until then I will pay $70 for pretty ones#I have this idea for a really cool Supernatural set that like I would make where all of the dice are based off of different characters#I only have two color schemes actually thought out: red and black for Crowley and blue and white for Castiel#Actually make that three because I would do green and gray for Dean. Green for his eyes and gray for his morals#I don't know about Sam though#And actually I just thought of one for Jack. I would do like gold and like yellow. And I know those are two really similar colors but trust#I guess I could do purple and red for Rowena. That would work. That would actually be kind of pretty. or like purple and orange#And I would either find or make charms to put in the dice#Not for all of them#just the ones where is makes sense#Like for instance#The Castiel die would just be sparkly#But the boys could have the anti-possession symbol#One really cool idea I just had is that I could make a hellhound head like separately and put that inside of Crowley's die.#I would just have to be careful with something like that to make sure that the dice don't end up weighted at all#Which honestly sounds like more trouble than it's worth so I don't think I would bother#But in theory it's a really cool idea#idle speaks#Idle speaks#dnd dice#Dice gremlin

I know I don't really post my little fics, but I wanted to share this nevertheless, because I'm quite proud of myself- today I finished filling my third little writing notebook! ❤️
I was curious, so I did a very quick and dirty word count (just... pages times lines times words in an average line), and with all three of them together, I'm up approximately to 130k words of fic handwritten over the past year (or, well, 10 months or so)!!!
((not ONE word of it is published, yaaaaay))
#squirrel speaks#well 133k technically but yknow#it's not a perfect count and there's line breaks and stuff#but there's also notes on the margins and like 10 or so extra pages in the black one so i'll just say that it evens out lol#the small one with the hamsters i started last sept and is around 20k words about mostly Arvid#the orange one is roughly 60k of mostly Iona-snippets and timeline breakdowns#and the black one is the one I finished today#that one is around 50k of mostly one-shot “drafts” (so basically fully written fic but in need of editing)#about primarily Iona Arvid and Petyr#i feel oddly accomplished now even though it's really kinda...... nothing#if nothing else then it's practice#and the new one i have is a bit smaller but it's sooo pretty!#it's got a cloth cover!!!!!!!!!!!#i'll try to fill it quickly because if i carry it around as much as i did the black one it'll get dirty

"what would your character be like without their trauma?" is such a hard question for me because it makes me feel like a massive asshole LMAO
(im attaching a picture of a tundra literally to add context to my ramble in the tags because my posts are structured by a sane person) (you should read the ramble in the tags i talk so much about rivers fsr)
#like. rivers would probably just purpose funky things for the hell of it and study lizards and stuff#i think environmentalism would matter to him since he was created long before the great equalizer when there was like. actually a view#have you guys ever looked at a tundra for real theyre so pretty. i think the colours would be funkier though#purples and blues along with the reds and oranges i think but id have to draw it tio be sure its not ugly#anyways. rivers would probably be interested in nature conservation especially since the ancients destroyed the world-#but the iterators construction obviously had a massive part in that so hed feel ownership#him and glass wouldve got along VERY well in this circumstance since that matters a lot to her (specifically animal conservation though)#but at the same time glass doesnt exist without rivers trauma right. she cant exist if flowers isnt in his life because he Literally built#her (glass) just to be mean to rivers#doomed for real#i....... want them to be friends in the walky au. my massive block is trying to think of some reason nights Needs to leave his can because#he wouldnt if not required. and glass just wouldnt leave him. in no circumstance would they willingly separate from eachothers company#theyd ALSO need to be really fast because the only opportunity nights would get to get out is when odyssey goes to him to help her build#the weapon she needs to kill dune. (odyssey has the gift. the twins dont know anyone else who does((other than phrases obvsly)))#this happens a considerable amount of time after phrases and rivers escape. they have like. a month's time on them#odysseys like “if you guys are for real about leaving do NOT go straight south. dont. dont. dont. youre like 2 feet tall you WILL die”#nights is like “DEAR GOD SERIAL KILLERS??????” and glass is like “wtf youre only like a foot taller than us”#anyways i think glass and rivers would get along and rivers has a positive arc here right and realizes hes wrong and hes glad he didnt.#kill the twins. yeah its good you didnt do that dude#i jsut really really think theyd get along if rivers had the chance to associate her with anything but flowers horrid treatment of him#because in the normal story all he sees when he sees her is flowers. and like flowers could the twins can tap into his work and see his#files and logs and such whenever they wanted. they didnt do this very often- glass really never looked at rivers work unless she was told t#but rivers was just made SO paranoid by flowers abuse that thinking of being watched makes him feel sick and horrible#and his whole thing is trying to find a way to feel less horrible right so thats (part of) why he decides to get rid of them#hm. if rivers wassnt traumatized hed like nature and creatures. anyways#oc posting#look to the tags for the oc posting
