I never knew what certainty was like,

I used to lack courage while full of fright.

But not until I found this girl

The girl who added colors

to the hues of my sight.

There’s a saying that people would say

“There's plenty of fish in the sea”,

yet In a crowd full of people

she’s the only one I see.

Ever since then,

I believe she’s an answered prayer

Not just a coincidence

But something I will bear

There’s no way I could express

the list of words my heart wants to confess

But to sum it all up

It’s always more and nothing less

Her laughter is my favorite

I feel happy when I hear it

And whenever she’s around

Time is worth spending every minute

Having her is knowing I am super blessed

How I wish she could see herself through my eyes

Because there’s no set of words that can concisely describe this feeling inside

I rather stay with her

Even through the ups and downs of life,

No matter how rough this journey may look like,

rest assured,

I’ll always find a way back to her side.

Colour theory

Purple, the colour of bruises, eggplants, and many other unpleasantries. Red and blue parents mix together so nicely, but truly... Purple isn't for you. I myself am more acquainted with Blues and Yellows. A garish colour combo that somehow works. How could that be? Is it colour theory, or is it just public opinion? Kind of like Pink and Orange. Who the hell thought that would be so pretty? Why on earth do so many unlikely parings work so well together? What if we tried You and I?
