Joking aside, if you have an uncongenial living space, you need this book.

(Also great for garden design.)
I hate the ā€œopen floor planā€ that everyone is obsessed with in houses now. I want nooks and crannies and bizarre floor plans. I donā€™t need to be able to see what someone is doing on the other side of the house. I want places to hide and lurk and dwell in the shadows. I am the beast who awaits in the labyrinth

something i wish i'd see more in trigun fanarts is people having vash speak their native/non-english languages completely unprompted, ive seen folks have him speak french, which he canonically knows, but i really do believe he's a polyglot. mostly because of that one time in the desert when he saw the samurai and wanted to greet him in japanese but struggled to remember how to even say hello.
my headcanon is that rem had them learn as many languages as possible but with the big fall and so many people dying, which i think is what led english to became No man's land main (or even only?) language, means that vash (and knives!) both got horribly out of practice and are various sort of rusty in every others languages.
what im saying if there's any pun or joke you've been dying to write but just doesn't work in english vash (and knives!!) are right there!

ģƒˆ - a bird
ė¬“ėŠ¬ - pattern
ź³µģ±… - a notebook
ė”± ė§žė‹¤ - to be a perfect fit/perfect match
Pronunciation of the word ė¬“ėŠ¬ is quite interesting, we say [:ė¬“ė‹ˆ]

you know. just like with specific terms and nicknames like clanker or shinie, clones must've come up with unique meanings for their armor paint. like with different meanings assigned to colors of mandalorian armor except since the choice of color is out of their control, all the importance lies in shapes and placement

Another bonus to learning a fiber art is being able to speak to others in a Lovecraftian language that nobody else understands...
...and also being able to read things like THIS:

Note
In portuguese there are no neutral pronouns at all... Even objects, species and verbs have gender!
Some random examples: Tree, house, lamp, wall, clothing, capybara, walk... all female
Paper, floor, soap, dog, cat, shoe, smell... all male
This confused me a lot as a kid when in translated media the animal characters that were referred to as one gender due to the species was actually another. Some words can be slightly altered to be the opposite gender though.

looking at all the characters Japanese pronouns made me notice that kid sidekicks in Sonic are either polite/formal or casual/informal to contrast their partnerĀ
Sonic uses ore (casual) and Tails uses boku (polite)
Amy uses atashi (casual) and Cream uses watashi (polite)Ā
Blaze uses watashi (polite) and Marine uses uchi (casual) (theyā€™re only pair where the sidekick is the casual one)
i donā€™t know if Surge and Kit have Japanese pronouns yet but Kit speaks very politely (calling Surge maā€™am and stuff ) and Surge is the living embodiment of punk rock so sheā€™s hella informalĀ
Silver uses ore like Sonic but he also calls other people anta like Amy and Rouge do (he be acting like Rouge again) so if Silver got a kid sidekick then theyā€™d be extra polite/formal like Kit and Cream
