"a lot of parents send their kids here for years! some parents never come back for their kids!"
ok imagine a bunch of kids growing up in the floating daycare thinking that sun and moon are their parents. and then when they're old enough and their parents pick them up they panic bc "who are these strangers taking me away from my robot fathers"
I was messing around trying to design some ships for beings made of stardust but made an entirely new au in the process
This take place reeeaaallly far into the future!! Humans live throughout the solar system! They don't seem to have time for their kids so they send them off to sun and moons floating daycare! A lot of parents send their kids here for years! Some parents never come back for their kids! So! They live here until they're ready to go off and live on their own! Tragic but sun and moon do their best to give the kids the education and love they need! They probably have more robot staff or smaller, simpler versions of themselves running around to help!
I'm thinking the actual story takes place after an event that knocks the ship out of orbit into deep space and y/n finds them decades later! Idk though hmmmmmmmm still thinking
#????? ur telling me these 9 ft tall robots arent my dads????#realistically i know that the parents would leave memory recording or have scheduled calls for their kids#but imagine if the files got corrupted and the parents were in deep space#so the kids had no idea that their parents weren't sun and moon#and then when the parents pick up the kids after they turn into teens#the kids are like#very fun#also#u know how humans go insane w no stimulation#and ai is pretty similar to human minds or something#yeah yn finding sun and moon in deep space and theyre fine physically#but theyre a little off bc the daycare was empty and they only had each other for company#a nice sun for the virus maybe#teehees#cain's barely awake rambling's

Chapter 5
Rating: Teen and Up
Relationships: Noa x Mae (Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes)
Content warnings: None
Comments: English is not my first language. I recommend you to watch the deleted scene where Noa and Mae talk about dreams and the telescope, it's not too important but it gives a tiny little bit of context for a short paragraph in the story. Enjoy!
Anaya woke up in the morning with more energy than usual and went to the main tower to look for his best friend, hoping they could do some climbing later, maybe he could convince Noa to go beyond the valley and explore a little more the ancient Echoes civilizations. However, when he arrived at Noa´s room, he found nothing but his empty litter and Dar, who was just waking up.
“Dar!” Anaya said, feeling a little invasive “Good morning. Noa?”
The female ape yawned deeply and scratch her belly.
“Dar?”
“Oh, Anaya, I don´t know” she said uninterested, yet calm; getting up to start her day.
“You… not worried?”
“Why would I? Noa… old enough. Not a baby. Probably… out”
Anaya left the tower, feeling a little worried. Ever since the kidnapping, he started to feel uneasy, like he should be alert and ready to fight. When he couldn’t find his friends, he felt this tight in his stomach.
“It´s called anxiety” Noa explain when they were settling their home again. Anaya was brave enough to express his feelings to his leader, hoping he could give him a peace of mind “Raka… told me so”
Soon enough, that word had spread like a quick virus among the apes. Everyone was using it. Noa wondered if they were truly anxious from what happened, or if they were just interested in using a new word.
Walking through the village, Anaya found his best friend sleeping next to the horses, with a blanket over his head, covering him from the sun.
“Noa! What are you… doing?”
The leader woke up and rapidly sat. He looked around him and spotted Anaya looking down on him like he was crazy. Maybe he was.
“What?”
“Why are you here?”
“Oh, not reason” Noa answered, feeling shy and oddly embarrassed. His friend gave him a look “Okey, I was out… all night. When I came back… to tired to go up. Sleep here”
Anaya looked confused.
“Where?”
“Uh… to the lighting dancers’ field”
“What?!” Anaya screamed with excitement, Noa hushed him with his hand and took him to a more private place, just a few meters away from the village.
“Who is… the lucky one?” the eldest asked.
“What?”
“You know”
“I do not”
“Noa. Romantic place. Take girlfriend” Anaya was too excited at this point, giggling and jumping around his friend, happy to be the first to know the details of how the date had gone.
“No, Anaya, it wasn´t… like that” Noa sighed mildly annoyed. Kind of disappointed.
It had been just a sweet moment between Mae and him, it wasn´t a mating ritual, nor a proposal. It was just a night out with a girl he cared about and wanted to show her something nice and pretty.
He didn’t want anybody to think he was trying to marry Mae (´cause he was not). That would be weird. An ape and an animal, getting together? Now way. That was just unnatural, wasn´t it? It would be like marrying a horse. “Except it would not be like that, and you know it” Noa thought. “She has the same features as you. Apes and human… we are not that different” Except they kind of were “But she is smart. She is not like those animals”
“It was just a nice walk”
Anaya snorted at his answer, like it was an obvious lie.
“With… who?”
Noa wondered if he could trust his friend, in a normal situation he would, but Anaya had imagined a whole scenario about a mate and a proposal, he didn’t want him to get his ideas twisted.
“Mae”
The ape stood in silence. The leader couldn’t figure out his expression. It was a mix between shock and something else, maybe fear?
“But I told you… it wasn’t like that” Noa tried to explain, his voice sounded nervous, and he knew that it seemed like he was lying “Really. The Echo never saw the dancers before”
The silence was getting unbearable, he needed to get out of there soon. Acting annoyed and angry, Noa pushed lightly Anaya to the side and started to walk towards the village.
“Wait” Anaya said, “Did she… like the lights?”
Noa turn around and looked at his friend, a kind smile was growing in his face. Noa tried to give him the same gesture, but the anxiety was just too strong.
“Yes, she liked the lights”
“Enjoyed the night? Both”
“Yes, it was nice”
Anaya walked towards his best friend, with open arms and a sympathetic smile, ready to hug the other ape.
“Then… that is all… that matters”
---------
It was a chilly night, not cold, but Mae felt the need to get a blanket to covered herself from the wind. She was getting goosebumps and a slightly runny nose.
She was with a group of apes, sitting in a circle and just telling stories and legends, some were made up and some were real things that happened in the village a while ago. The human was sitting next to Soona and Case, listening to a semi old male ape talking about the time he saw a creature bigger than a horse, with big paws and very fat. He said it attacked his wife, but fortunately they made it to the village and loose the animal on the way. The other apes were making fun of his story, saying he was probably making all up.
Mae supposed the beast he was talking about was a bear, but she stayed silent. She didn’t know exactly why she felt so scared revealing more stuff about the world to the apes. Except she did know.
She was terrified of them sometimes. She could see how they were improving their speech, at least Noa. Mae tried to fake an ape way of speaking, but it was very difficult to pretend and not let difficult words come out of her mouth. It was easier to stay silent. And the reason? She felt like she was teaching them human ways. And that felt like a nightmare came true. Mae saw the evolution among the apes. Spreading.
She learned to be around them, to joke and live a simple life surrounded by the apes. But she felt like crossing a line when it came to “teach” them.
They learned fast. Noa was the fastest. She remembered their conversation at the fire camp when they were after Proximus, how the ape asked about what they saw inside the telescope. She lied and said she didn’t know. Because she was too scared to talk about things only humans on earth knew about.
That same night, she observed Noa, fixing the electric weapon. She was terrified.
“Cold?” said a male voice behind her. It was Noa, holding a blanket in his hands.
“Yeah, a little” Mae answered. The ape sat beside her, squishing between her and Case.
The female ape rolled her eyes and move next to Soona so Noa wouldn’t suffocate her.
Instead of giving Mae the blanket, the male wrapped it around her shoulders. The human girl stood still.
“What are they talking about?” the leader asked in a quiet voice, so he doesn’t interrupt the story telling.
“About everything” Mae said “That old ape saw a beast one time. Nobody believes him”
“Oh, the big paws monster?” Noa snorted.
“Have you heard his story?”
“Yes, he tells it all the time” Noa took a peach from his little bag and started to eat it. Mae noticed how he only eats with his mouth close now. Something he must have learn from the human girl.
“Do you not believe him?” Mae inquired with a rise eyebrow.
“Nobody does”
“Maybe we could—” the girl was interrupted by a different ape, pointing direct at her.
“Okey everyone! Maybe it´s… time… for the Echo… to tell a… story”
Some apes were exciting to hear what the human had to say, while others stayed silent, cautious.
“Oh, I… I don´t really have a story”
“Everyone has a story” Noa said with a grin, he was enjoying watching Mae get embarrassed.
“Can it be made up?”
“Of course”
“Well, uh… there is this story” Mae started “It was very popular in my home. Every kid knew about it. It´s about a princess, well, she wasn´t really one—”
“What is a… princess?” an ape asked from the opposite side of the circle.
“Uh… they used to rule kingdoms—”
Everyone started to murmur, scared, fresh memories of Proximus and the kidnapping.
“But they were nice kingdoms, they were gentle and kind, and showed mercy” That was a lie “Anyway, she was not really a princess, she was just a girl who worked really hard to get what she wanted. On the other hand, there was this boy, who was actually a prince. So, this prince gets turned into a frog by an evil man, and only a true love kiss could turn him back into a human. Then, this girl, found the frog and became very fond of him, they kissed, and the prince turned back into a human, they were happy after that”
There was a moment of complete silence, Mae held her beath, not knowing what to do or expect. Then, a whole lot of questions were asked, all at the same time, the girl tried to answer all of them, without revealing too much or making them confused. That wasn’t the whole story, she skipped a lot of details, but she knew the apes wouldn’t understand the concept of magic or human customs.
“How were… the princess?”
“They were beautiful girls with castles”
“The frog… talked? Like you?”
“Yes, he did. That is how they got to know each other”
After a whole bunch of questions, Noa noticed Mae getting overwhelmed, so he called it a night and send everyone to sleep.
He accompanied the Echo to her room, stopping at the door.
“Goodnight Mae. That was a good story” he said with a smile.
“Thank you”
“Sleep, princess”

Help Wanted 2: Lets Talk About Sun (Spoilers for Help Wanted 2!)
Okay,
I've had some time to digest Help Wanted 2. What a freaking roller coaster. I'm assuming you all have played/watched/seen Help Wanted 2, so be advised if you haven't seen everything we have access to so far, I'll be bringing it up.
One thing I'll say upfront is its nice to know Sun and Moon ARE older like I theorized. They're tied to the Fall Festival which took place in 1970 per one of the prize collector posters and the fact they deal with the carousel. I think Steel Wool also tried to point out and confirm Moon is patient zero for....I guess I should say Vanny's influence in the PizzaPlex. He's definitely the favorite to be pitted against us. I'm STILL losing my mind over the Princess Quest Ending.
So, the DCA fandom has been all across the board, ranging from "I love sassy Sun" to "Sun is SO mean. This ruins my headcannon." I don't think it really does. At least, it doesn't have to.
Our first encounter with Sun in front of us is Arts and Crafts. This minigame is located in the world we eventually learn is AR. We also are clearly a new FazBear hire. Sun is definitely sassy, and let's face it, VERY critical of what he defines as a mistake. BUT the flip side of that coin is he is still nice when you do the art correctly. He calls you friend, he wants to help you. If the player eats the crafts, he loses his mind. It's because he's worrying for the player due to the effects eating the crafts will have on them, ie: "That is how you get ulcers!". (By far, MY FAVORITE line of Sun's btw. Kellen stated that line and the indigestion line were both improved btw- genius.) He still doesn't want Moon to get you, he doesn't want to get in trouble. The one threat is after you've been hitting him several times and you've outright pissed him off. (I personally, think the "I should turn off the lights myself" was a drama king being a drama king.) Then we take the mask off. We see everything destroyed and Sun acts like the Sun we've always known. "I'm perfectly fine where I am. It's better this way. It's safer this way." "Keep the generator on. Without it I won't be able to help you." He's the same as he's always been. We've just seen a new layer.
What we ultimately have to come to terms with, is that Sun is a control freak and a perfectionist. He thinks he "has" to be. He doesn't want you to move from your craft table so he can watch you like a hawk. Do the job you are assigned. Get in, get out. Do the art HIS way, and follow HIS rules. If you don't, bad things can happen. Bad things HAVE happened. Another explanation could also be that maybe he isn't as free of the glitch trap virus as we thought? He can be sassy, he can be brutally honest, he can be concerned for us, for children, and his own darkness can rear its head, all at the same time.
Steel Wool could also be trying to slam into our faces that Sun is incomplete. He is one-half of a whole. He has good intentions, he means well at his core, but he cannot stop, regroup, and act rather than react. He gets stressed, and can't cope and adjust. Instead, he demands control back when he feels like he's about to lose it. Moon is calm, calculating, and logical. It's why they need to be whole and why Sun is so grateful to Cassie when she fixes them to become Eclipse. As Eclipse, they both find the parts of themselves they've so desperately needed.

❀ ❀ ❀
“Why do you even care so much about what this jerk thinks about you?” Newt asks you as you’re both sat under a tree during your work break.
“I don’t know, we spend our days together and I just, I just wanted him to like me but every single thing i do makes him angry!” you say agitating your hands in incomprehension.
“He hates everyone, pretends he likes his friends, and he doesn’t like you because you get attention for being the only girl in here. He knows everyone likes you.” Newt was your best friend and always brutally honest with you, which was why you loved him so much.
You were looking at the grass under the “sun”light when a tall shadow came up to you and Newt. “Hey, it’s ten minutes break not five hours so get your ass back to the cabin.”
Gally was looking down on you, talking to you with a severe tone as usual. You in fact didn’t know why you wanted him to like you. He’s your boss and you spend all your days with him, you thought maybe you could see something behind his cold personality because weirdly, he didn’t intimidate you. Maybe that’s why he didn’t like you.
You were fixing a fence for the Slicers to keep the livestock in the Glade when you heard Gally saying there was a bonfire tonight. You thought that would be the perfect occasion to try to make friends with him. Though you didn’t want to chase him down and beg for friendship, it was your last try.
When the night started and you joined the gladers at their little celebration for being alive another day (that’s what you guessed), you didn’t know everyone perfectly well yet. You liked Zart because he was really nice to you, you liked Ben and Minho cause they were unintentionally funny to you, and Newt was your favorite of course.
You looked around to find someone you know because you didn’t want to be in the middle of all the boys by yourself and also, you don’t like all the attention being on you (— which was unfortunate since the attention was always on you).
Minho waved at you with a straight face because he saves his smiles for rare occasions. You felt relieved as you walked to him sitting alone but you also felt a huge pressure as if someone was looking at you.
“Hey, how is this bonfire going so far for you?” Minho kindly asked giving you a cup of a weird drink, “Well, i like parties, i think i do, at least. I’d like to know everyone here but apparently, not everybody wants me here.” you respond taking a sip before making a face.
“Gally again?” Minho said exhaling, “I know i shouldn’t care but it makes me upset.” you say sitting next to him, sighing.
“Don’t worry, it’ll come. He’ll end up liking you just like we all do because, there’s absolutely no reason to hate you.” he kindly answers with a little smile. Your best friends really treated you well for the past three months because, even though they couldn’t understand how it was to be a girl in a world of boys, they knew how hard it was for them when they arrived here. They could only imagine it was harder for you.
“Thank you.” you say with a tiny smile before resting your head on his shoulder. You knew Minho wasn’t really the one to say kind words to everybody. Or the one to accept a head on the shoulder easily, but he let you.
“Hey Newt.” you saw him walking up to you with a huge cup, “Do you guys want to taste THIS?” he said laughing like he knew something you didn’t. “That thing has to hold a deadly virus.” Minho said before you added “No thank you, i’d rather stay alive.” slightly giggling.
Newt then turned around to look at everybody then told you; “The hell is he staring at?”, “Who?” you answered a bit concerned. “Gally.” Newt said laughing again, “Maybe he doesn’t hate you that much after all.”
“You know what? I’m gonna talk to him and we’ll see if tomorrow he still hates me.” you reposted getting up to go there. “He doesn’t hate you!” you hear Newt add as you walk away. Always the devils advocate, always staying positive for some reason.
You felt a little stressed out, your hands were slightly shaking as you got closer to him while he was focused on laughing with his friends and drinking, you started regretting but you were too far into your mistake to go back. Of course, the alcohol in your blood made you braver which was good in this situation.
You sat next to him as if it was totally normal. “Hey, Gally, this drink is really good. I heard the recipe was a secret.” you boldly told him putting hair behind you ear, trying to look confident.
“Thanks. What are you doing here? Your boyfriend and your lil’ best friend must miss you already.” He says loudly as all his Builder friends laugh (— they laughed like that was the funniest thing ever, i think they laugh at everything Gally says).
“I don’t have a boyfriend, i have good friends though. And some guys seem to dislike me for unknown reasons, they miss out on a lot of fun.” you smile, looking really friendly and nice. You’re not trying to seem patronizing or something. That would only make him despise you.
“So, Gally, you want us to go get another drink?” he stares at you for a while before getting up to follow you. Your legs shake from stress as he walks besides you.
“Why didn’t you tell me anything about you?” you break the short silence. “There’s nothing to say.” he coldly answered. “Oh come on, you like building and fighting, what else do you like?” “Having a purpose. And a home. I guess.” he finally opens up a little bit more to you. You feel a small smile growing on your face, breaking the ice.
“Great, you know what, I like that too. We have a common point, see?” he stops walking when you finish talking.
“You know, (y/n), i didn’t like all the changes you brought with you. Everything was new when you arrived in that box.” he says looking at you. “And you hate change, i get it. I’m sorry.” you say smiling again. You finally started to understand what kind of guy he was, he needed stability, and control.
“It’s not your fault, we made those adjustments for you and you turned out to be a Builder. I think it is- nice to have you with us.” wow, Gally was complementing you? That made you blush for a reason you ignored. You then started walking again towards the drinks. “I’m glad to work with you guys too. It’s tough for me but i try to stay positive and fit in, you know?” you confess to your new friend.
Maybe his drink convinced him you weren’t that annoying after all. He handed you a glass of whatever that was and you walked back to the others to sit down with them.
You relaxed a little bit and started making jokes, your coworkers were really dumb (most of them) but pretty funny and nice even though they were kind of onerous sometimes — as you are a girl and of course it means there are a lot of inappropriate jokes they’re allowed to make.
You knew Alby made it very clear no one was allowed to touch you, or go too far, so you felt safe with them. You knew teenagers like them wouldn’t hurt you, even the dumbest ones.
Surprisingly, you started laughing with Gally, he was actually chill in parties, unlike the bossy guy you knew at work and also in the glade in general. Maybe those nights were important to him because it was a traditional thing, you were staring at him as he told a story about Zart, that you never heard before.
You didn’t know why exactly but you needed to analyze his face, you liked the way his eyes moved and the way he smiled telling that anecdote. You bursted out laughing at the exact same time the other Builders did, he was a good storyteller.
When everybody started separately talking, you looked at Gally and spoke, pretty loudly so he could hear you “You’re a good storyteller” you smiled, he leaned over a bit, to hear you “What?” he asked smiling, you put your hand on his arm and got closer to his ear, you were more confident, you felt like you usually do when you’re with Next and Minho. “I said you’re a good storyteller” you chuckled slightly.
He pulled away and looked at you, he was smiling way more now that you guys had talked. Now that you knew he didn’t exactly hate you. “Really?” you nodded, and he stood up and you tilted your head slightly.
He held his hand out, you took his hand without hesitation and walked with him.
You walked in the Glade without really knowing where you wanted to go, you chuckled as you talked about the story he told.
“Did he really wake up with those drawings on his face?” “He really did, and he stayed like that the whole day.” he laughed.
You sat down together at the end of a tree, you were both a bit tired but you still wanted to talk.
“You’ve been here three years, right?” you say looking at the trees around you. The “moon”light made everything look peaceful in the Glade.
Gally nodded “Three years.” he said staring at a random tree. You looked at him “Do you think they’ll find a way out?” you ask, you still had the innocence of being here for three months, because you had no idea how it felt for them. This was the only home he’d ever known.
He shrugged, “I don’t think anything, I wait.” you looked down, you wondered everyday why you were all here, why you were the only girl, why didn’t you remember your life.
“Do you think we like, knew each other out of the Glade? In our other lives, i mean.” you look back at the trees, not noticing he had turned his head to look at you. “You think we were friends or something?” he asked then continued, “maybe we were like- high school enemies.”
You giggled and looked at him “I’m sorry but you must’ve been a bully.” he nodded chuckling “Alright alright i’ll give you that one. You must’ve been the girl that talked back to teachers but still had good grades.” you laughed at his statement, you had thought so many times about what your life could’ve been like outside the Glade.
Somehow, you always thought you used to know Gally. “I’m almost sure I knew you.” you say, looking in front of you, your two bodies sitting pretty close to each other. He turned his head to look at you. “Is that why you wanted to be my friend here?” he wondered, he’d always been curious about you, he just never admitted it.
You nodded then answered “I think…Maybe i was looking for comfort and landmarks. I thought maybe what i felt towards you was that research of something. Because i couldn’t let go of the past even if i didn’t remember anything.”
He was listening closely to every word you said, you didn’t think he’d want to understand you and genuinely listen. He nodded “So, i was like, a magnet and you were metal?” he said sounding surprisingly soft and warm.
You giggled slightly looking at him “Yeah, that’s it. That’s why i didn’t want you to hate me.” you smiled. He shook his head “I never hated you, i was just, scared, i guess.” you could hear the slight shake in his voice, because you paid so much attention to details.
You heard him say i guess and he was trying to make his fear seem like nothing, but it mattered to you. “I think, you had every right to be scared.” you said with a gentle tone, nodding your head slightly.
You kind of just, looked into each other’s eyes for a while, it was like there was some sort of connection between you, you felt seen. The real you, the one you didn’t even remember.
He leaned towards you, you stopped thinking, you stopped hearing the loud thoughts and worries in your mind, he carefully placed his huge hand on your face, you closed your eyes as he tilted his head to the side and pressed his lips against you.
That was both of y’all’s first kiss ever, which felt weird, you gently took his hand into yours as he kissed you. You quickly both heard Clint screaming as he was looking for you guys.
You both pulled away and bursted out laughing, you had no idea what all that was, but it was surely a new connection.

Ruin ramble because writing his pov is interesting
Do you ever notice that Ruin gets really self depreciative about himself sometimes? (Maybe not quite self depreciative, but highlighting things about himself.) Implying vulnerability in a way that can almost come off as a joke if it weren't for his tone of voice. He says he hasn't been safe in a long time, it would be nice to sleep for once, wouldn't his death be hilarious? It comes off as a cry for help, but he states it as fact, he's convinced it won't change.
He's very stubborn about what he's done. He had nothing left to lose. No, there was absolutely no other way he could've gone about destroying the creator, he'd spent years considering his options. Yes, Solar was collateral, unfortunate. Those lives were a necessary sacrifice. He had to do it. There was no other way.
To him, he chose the lesser amount of people in the trolley problem. That was the morally correct thing to do in the circumstances he was given, lives would have been taken either way. He had to do it. (He could've walked away from the lever that switched the rails, but that would be the self serving option, wouldn't it? To move on?)
The most interesting part about it to me is, why does Ruin keep on going? All he's known is pain and suffering in some shape or another, he had nothing to live for after his goal was completed. All he'd ever known was bad, bad, bad, vindictive release, a little bit more bad, and then nothing. He was ready to die, he didn't know where to go.
Then came along this new dimension, one he'd apparently accidentally created through his actions. For someone who has nothing to gain or lose, wouldn't this be a nice chance of pace? To look forward to something nice that was more or less your responsibility in a weird way, to cultivate something good for once after a life of bad? To be able to take the place of your abuser, break that cycle? This new dimension is his reason to keep going, he will see this one good thing through if he can help it. Even if he isn't particularly liked by his migrated peers.
But he still isn't secure. There are enemies he'd made, the insurmountable weight of lives on his shoulders, and a new uncertain freedom of identity. (Granted, he still has to lie to some people to get by. I more mean his own Creator, the Virus act, and Nexus + Dark Sun here. Ruin having to strike deals and bargain for his life and act against his own morals to survive. But those are gone. When had Ruin last acted like himself, truly? He had barely been able to define himself as an Eclipse before everything bad happened.)
Does Ruin hate himself? I don't know, he's very adamant about hating what he had to do, but would do it again. He believes he was right, he's even defensive about it to several people, but there is still something that's bothering him. Does he hate himself for pressing the red button? Dunno. Maybe subconsciously. He's clearly meant to parallel Puppet with how he is now, they're the same words in different font. Ruin pulled the lever to kill the smaller amount of strangers to save the greater amount of strangers. Puppet was inside the train that killed everyone she knew. She wants to repent, Ruin hasn't shown much interest in it. Does a selfless act require repentance?
I like to think he has a bit of a dissociation issue, he compartmentalizes things if you squint, a possible coping mechanism of something called cognitive dissonance (a disturbance that happens when your actions do not align with your morals/values.) He was right for what he did. What he did was bad. What he did was necessary. He deserves his fate. He doesn't like pain. There's some contradicting statements there, he'd have to separate some things into neat little boxes in order for it to make sense in his head, so he didn't torture himself thinking about what that said about himself and his values. What he did was right and necessary. What he did was bad and he deserves his fate. He doesn't like pain. Still contradictory a bit, but a little more organized. If he focused on the positive box more than the negative box, he can feel better about himself, but he's painfully aware of the negative box' existence. Maybe he avoids looking at the negative box at all times and ignores the contents, but what's inside is so over accumulated that it can't help but be constantly present and occasionally overflow in those matter-of-fact cries for help. A lotta PTSD can fit in this bad boy (pats ruin on the head)
Does that make sense? I don't know, I feel like a therapist trying to write from his point of view. What is wrong with this little british guy.

perhaps a fire does get rid of the weeds and leaves the rest, but the trees are scarred all the same. the forest will never be the way it once was.

May I have Bitter Orange in a ⭐ bottle please? The start of R and Hobie being handcuffed together before they turned, with R succumbing to the effects of the virus much faster than Hobie due to his spiderpowers, so for a bit he just watches his love become a husk of who they were before he too is a zombie?
*laughs evily* Yessss I've been waiting for a request exactly like this hwjsjwijsjaj hope you like it!
Pairing: Hobie Brown x fem! Reader/ Spider-Punk x fem! Reader
Word count: 3.2k (whoops)

A prequel to this one shot
Katy's one year celebration 🎉
The air is nice and cool on your face as you walk hand in hand with Hobie in the barren street. There's rows upon rows of abandoned houses, all in different stages of decay from both scavengers trying to survive and time itself proving to be the worst enemy. But it's on your side for now for it has given you infinite time to be with him.
Hobie's hand is suddenly on your scarf, fingers gingerly sliding the fuzzy material up to your chin. He smiles at you, the sun blindingly light behind him. Despite the apocalypse, he still looks just as handsome. He has new shallow scars on his chin where a stubble is slowly growing, hair a bit of a mess but beautiful nonetheless. You've once told him after a lucky find of one whole pound of chocolate pudding that he's apocalypse chic, that he makes the end of the world look good. To which he laughed and shoved a spoonful of chocolate pudding in your mouth. Compared to him you probably look like a mess, you wouldn't know, you've ignored mirrors ever since you ran out of shampoo a few days ago.
“What are you thinkin' ‘bout, gorgeous?” He tugs you closer to him, the crowbar hanging from his backpack clinks against the machete next to it.
“That I really need shampoo, and that you look unfairly handsome in this light.”
Chuckling, he intertwined his fingers around your own. It could mean death for the both of you if the undead suddenly lunges and he doesn't have enough time to take his hand away from you. But he thinks it's alright for him to do, to indulge himself to your touch since the entire place is empty save for a few dead cars and scattered luggages left by people.
“You should see yourself in my eyes, lovie, the greasy hair is doin' a lot for me.”
“Oh yeah? You like it when you pat my head and you get petrol on your hand?”
“We need petrol, d’you think if I bunch up your hair and squeeze it I can collect the oil?”
You nudge him playfully, “you're an ass.”
“Yeah, well, you're stuck with this arse.”
Your mind goes back to your friends and family you've left behind. “Do you think they're okay?”
“'m sure they are, Yuri's got them, and they have Ned, he'll whip them into shape. ‘sides, we're almost at James’, if I was them I'd stay there.” He adjusts his hold on his pack and guitar. “We'll find them.”
You smile, nuzzling his bicep for his own reassurance, knowing that he also worries for them. “You're right. They're probably doing better than us.”
“Yeah,” he pecks the crown of your head. “They're living like kings, I bet.”
You two stop in front of a large house, complete with white marble steps and tall roman columns. “James' dad never had taste, huh?”
Hobie snorts, “his son took all of it. C’mon, then.” He leads you on the porch, trying the door, wishing that it was locked because if it is it means that someone's inside, that they're surviving and waiting for the two of you. To his despair, the door opens without a problem.
Hobie looks back at you having the same expression. “It's okay,” you try to be optimistic, “maybe they left a message for us.”
He nods, “yeah, maybe.” Crossing the abandoned space, he takes his guitar from his back to strum a tune. When he doesn't hear stumbling or any rattling from anywhere inside the house, he continues forward, but his guard is still up. “We might as well get some supplies while we're ‘ere.”
“Yeah, there might be some left in here.” You give him a small smile. “How about we split up? This place is too big, it'll take us forever to comb over this place.”
Hobie considers it for a moment. The place seems pristine except for the furniture and cabinets that are picked clean, so he deems it safe. “Okay, just…” you walk to his side, rubbing his arms, smiling sweetly at him even though he probably doesn't smell the best. “...keep your knife close.”
“I will keep my knife close,” you repeat his words, “and I'll stay alert.” Poking at his chest, you peck the frown off his lips. “And you keep safe.”
He's still apprehensive, but he knows you can hold your own. Taking your face in his hands, he kisses you fully, smooching until you're giggling. “We’ll meet back ‘ere in fifteen.”
“Aye, aye, Cap'n!” You mock salute. “Any special requests?”
“Chocolates.”
“I said a request, not wishful thinking.” You tease, he has an urge to kiss you again.
“Towels, the nice fluffy ones.” You slide your hands away from him, to which he already longs for.
“Got it! I bet James has a ton of them.” You wink, knife in hand, walking away from him.
Hobie watches your retreating back, tamping down his anxieties. He searches upstairs, grinning at James' familiar room. His posters and messy floors remain untouched, the bed still looking like it was tossed around by a tornado. He almost cries at the picture frame on the bedside table containing his band's smiling faces plus you who's embracing him.
Turning the frame around, he takes the picture and pockets it to show to you. After rummaging James' room, he takes a few shirts and pants for him and you. He even finds a pair of silk pajamas that he knows you'll love. A piercing scream echoes around the house, he immediately bolts downstairs, heavy footsteps thudding across marble floors.
You're on your back, fighting for your life while the undead on top of you tried to get a chunk out of you. It all stops when Hobie's guitar connects to the corpse's skull in a sickening crunch of metal and bone.
You scramble away, neck and arm in pain. Hobie's wide eyes meet yours just as when the back door bursts open, revealing a whole horde of the undead. Panicking, he yanks you up, holding your hand, running outside to more of the shambling dead.
“Fuck!”
“Hobie!”
“Just hold on!” His hand is tight around yours, you try to run at his pace, panic in your veins, adrenaline in his.
It feels like you've been running forever, Hobie sees an opening hidden in an alley. He can climb on his own without a ladder but you can't. So he leads you towards the empty alley while the rotten, decayed corpses of once human beings run after you at full speed.
Hobie jumps to take down an emergency ladder, without missing a beat, he grabs your waist and throws you on the ladder. You climb, but the pain in your arm gets worse so you're slower but you still try for him.
The undead finally gets to the alley, you don't dare to look down. Once you're on the rooftop, you peek below to see him struggling to get up the ladder, he's halfway with a handful of zombies dangling on his leg.
You scream his name but it's too late, one of the undead has bitten a chunk of his leg as he tries to kick the former human off the ladder where he's desperately trying to climb to. You wish he didn't run out of web fluid, you wish the world didn't end, you wish the throbbing pain on your arm is just muscle spasm, but the warm crimson seeping out of teeth marks says differently.
With a sickly crunch, the zombie falls down the ladder and into the rotten horde. Hobie climbs up quickly back to you, hands immediately grasping on to you.
“Did it get you?!” You yell, still in denial, frantically checking in hopes that his boot saved him. Your heart falls into your stomach at the sight of broken skin, blood staining your fingers where you hold the hem of his trousers away to get a better look. You're frozen on the spot, tears clinging to your lashes. “Hobie,” you gasp, taking off your scarf to make a makeshift tourniquet around and above the bite. “Fuck—!”
“You okay?!” He does the same to you, heaving, ripping off your sleeves like a madman trying to find the secrets hidden in your skin. He prays that he finds none. His eyes widen, terrified, broken hearted, shaking his head, refusing the fact that you're infected. “No,” he shakes his head again, closing the torn up cloth around the slowly rotting wound. “It's just a scratch, love, y-you’re not—”
“Hobie…” you smile bitterly, eyes mirroring his own. He rips the hem of his shirt, using the cloth to wrap it around your arm, just above the wound in an attempt to stop the spread. He ignores the stinging pain on his leg. “Hobie, stop, it's—”
“We can still stop it!” He yells desperately, tying the cloth tightly. “It's just a scratch.”
“Hobie, please.” You hold his trembling hands, “it has been ten minutes.” He refuses, you squeeze his hand weakly, the virus already taking hold. Slowly killing you. “And—” with trembling hands, you show him the gaping bite on your neck, oozing dark decaying blood. He choked on a sob. “B-but there's a chance for you, your abilities might've made you immune—”
“No, if you're goin’, ‘m goin’” He stands up, not giving up on you. “There's a chemist’s ‘ere, maybe if w-we…” he puts on a brave face amidst the impending doom and rotten flesh that stings his nose. “Maybe there's somethin’ there.” Hand reaching down, you smile up at him, orange and pink hues from the sky dancing around your face. “C-can you get up?” His voice breaks, chest heaving. “I can carry you. Don't make me carry you, love.”
You slide your hand onto his own. “Hobie,” your voice is soft above the mindless groaning below. His eyes beg you to move. So you do. “Okay,” with a single word, you bring him hope.
With divided effort, you both make it towards the roof of the pharmacy. He was uncharacteristically silent the whole way, but his hand never left yours. His eyes never met with your wounds that's slowly festering. You feel it inside you, the fever, the virus that's eating at you, spreading throughout your body, gnawing at every bit of your warmth like a seed taking root. Hobie feels it too, he's terrified that you're experiencing it too. It's his worst fears came to life only because he wasn't fast enough.
Opening the creaky door, he hopes that it's devoid of the undead. Like he's not on the brink of eating flesh, he does his usual prep. He strums his guitar softly to attract any walking corpses waiting behind doors, when none comes out, he cracks the door wider. With his torch, he lights up the way. But he doesn't feel your presence behind him.
Looking over his shoulder was a mistake, he finds you hunched over the doorway, groaning quietly, nails clawing at the throbbing wound around your neck. That's the moment he knew that you'd go out before him. For the first time, he curses his gifts.
Slowly, he crosses the distance towards you, shaking hands grasping your shoulders. You're warm, incredibly warm. “Love?” He could cry, but he doesn't want you to see his sorrow.
You sniff, tears streaming down your face from the pain and the tragedy of it all. You've accepted that you were infected, but not him, you'd take the virus from him too if you could. “I'm s-sorry, so fucking sorry. I should've—”
“Oi, none of that, yeah? You're gonna be fine.” He says it to convince himself. “You'll be back on your feet tomorrow and by then we'll see Yuri and the others.” Nodding, he takes you by your arm, careful of making your wounds worse. There's blood sticking to his clothes, seeping through his clammy skin. He hates the fact that it was yours. Bringing you behind the counter, you almost keep over. “I've got you, I've got you.” He says it against your temple like a prayer.
“H-Hobie.” You sob, salty tears marring your pretty face. “I can't— it hurts.” The gnawing feeling gets worse, as if a chainsaw is ripping you apart from the inside. “It's so hot, I–I can't breathe.”
“O-okay, I'll set you down ‘ere, get you comfortable. There's some fever meds over there. It'll help.” His hazel eyes pleads for anyone, anything that'll help you. He helps you sit down, and you immediately lie down on the cold tiles. “Do you want a blanket?”
“N-no,” you're hot and cold at the same time. “I don't know.” You look up at him, he sees the light in your eyes fading. “I don't feel so good, Hobs.”
Hobie could only look away from you, inhaling, exhaling but it doesn't feel like he's breathing right. He kneels down, setting his guitar next to you, palm placed on your forehead. “This is nothing, love.” He tries to smile, but fails. “Remember when you had the flu?” You nod weakly, “you were a fuckin' beast, you beat it on your own in just a few days.”
Even though you feel your heartbeat going faster and then slowing down in a weird rhythm like a heartbeat monitor going haywire, you smile for him. “I was, wasn't I?”
He rubs your bicep, under his touch, he feels your muscle twitch. “Yeah, you still are.”
You chuckle softly, tears sliding down your cheeks and into the cold tiles. “Okay, get me the meds.”
“That's my girl,” laying his forehead atop yours, he hopes that he'll take your pain away with the simple gesture, but it's futile. “I'll be back, I promise.”
“Don’t make me wait.”
Smiling, he squeezes your arm. “Never.” Standing up, he rummages through the entire place for the pills you need. Crouching down to check under the broken shelves, climbing up on the walls to get a bird's eye view, and all the while ignoring his own pain. It's slim pickings, but he manages to find a single bottle of tylenol that has rolled under a shelf, it's not enough, but it'll do.
With a victorious sigh, he quickly makes it to the counter, rounding the corner, he sees you wheezing, catching your breath and with blood leaking out from your eyes and ears. “No, no, no!” He takes you in his arms, making you sit up. “I've got the meds, love. Oi, open your eyes for me.” You crack one eye open tiredly. “That's it, good job.” He almost cries when you smile at him through the thick fog of illness.
“G-good job,” you murmur, he doesn't know if you're delirious or you're congratulating him for finding the medicine.
“Bottoms up.” He brings two pills to your mouth, to which you gladly take. Giving you his canteen, you drink most of it, downing the tepid water. “That's good, see, you're already gettin' better.”
You shake your head weakly, barely opening your eyes. “Thanks to you, Hobie.”
“Yeah, thanks to me.” He tries to joke but it comes out choked when blood still leaks out of your tear ducts. Sitting next to you, he now feels his temperature rise so he takes the same amount of pills as you.
You lay your head on his shoulder, hand shakily reaching towards his own. “I'm sorry.”
He almost breaks down at your apology. “Nothin' to apologize for, love.” Meeting your hand halfway, he intertwined his fingers with yours, you're cold now, frozen under his hold. “D’you want that blanket now?”
“Please,” you wheeze out.
Hobie obliges, taking a thick blanket from his pack and then draping it around you as if it'll protect you from the infection. “There, nice and cozy, eh?”
“Thank you,” he feels your crimson fall down on his collar. “For everything.”
“None of that, Y/N, please. None of that.”
“I still want to talk to you.” Your voice is soft and small. “I still want to stay with you.”
Hobie brings your intertwined hands to his lips, kissing each knuckle softly. “And we will be, after this—” a sob escapes from him. “After this, we'll be together, yeah? Just like how we talked about.”
“Forever and ever?”
His tears flow freely, “yeah, forever and ever.” After a beat of silence, he fears the worst. “Love?”
You cough, he sighs in relief. “Still here, Hobs, not leaving yet.”
“Not yet,” embracing you, he lays his chin atop your head, you're made comfortable in his hold. Home, you feel like you're back home in his houseboat, watching a shitty romcom while he rambles on about his patrol. You want to be back there again. He wants to be back there again. “Can I say somethin'?”
You hum into his chest, squeezing his hand tighter but your sickness, he barely felt it.
“I don't want to…” he could barely say it. “I don't want to kill you. ‘m sorry, I know we talked about it—”
You lean up, he's met with milky eyes, he knows you can barely see him now. “Then don't, I don't want you to—” you pause, clinging to humanity. “— to feel that before you go.”
Nodding, he kisses your forehead, crying, weeping into your skin. “I couldn't save you, ‘m so fuckin' sorry, love, ‘m so sorry.” He shakes, you gather enough strength to embrace him and bury yourself in his chest, letting his scent waft around you for comfort.
“Don't apologize, nothin' to apologize for.”
He sniffs, peppering your face with heavy weakened kisses. “Oi, don't use my own words against me.”
You smile against the rough leather of his jacket. “Can I say something?”
“Go,” he can practically see the countdown. “We have all the time in the world, love.” There's something warm leaking out of his eyes and ears. He's catching up to you.
You'd laugh but you can feel your life slipping through your fingers. “When we turn, I don't want us to be separated.”
“What do you propose?” He tries to inhale but he could only let out a sickening cough.
“Tie our hands together…really tight.” Your words fade away, but you still hold on.
“I've got rope here, I can do it now.”
“But I'll turn first, Hobie, I-I might—”
“It'll be my honour to be your first meal.”
“I'd laugh if we weren't dying right now.” Eyes too tired to open, you feel the rough rope around your wrist, and the unmistakable sound of a knot getting tied. You smile for the last time when you feel his fingers wrap around your own. “I love you.”
“How's that? Too tight?” He whispers close, he feels you slipping away, “Y/N? Love?” he breaks down when your hand falls limp around his own. “Not yet, please, not yet.” He holds you, rocking you back and forth like a babe needing to be held. Your heart doesn't beat in sync with his anymore. “C’mon, not yet, we still have to find the rest of the band, right?” His eyes cloud over, cold taking root inside his entire body. “Say somethin’, fuck!” He yells with all his might, “I love you, fuck, please wake up.”
Closing his eyes, he wraps you in what's left of his warmth. “Don't go, please.” Hobie pleads and cries until he can no longer breathe the same air as you. His last thoughts were of you.

When Ruin said "Would be nice to sleep for once" on the villain podcats, i assume he didn't or just rarely slept or recharge. Which is fair, the guy probably never had a moment of peace in his life, eve since the virus started knocking on his dimension's door step and is always alert to his surroundings to not get jumped. (And like the whole acting crazy to be able to survive in his dimension, ploting and researching how to destroy the Creator's Council while trying not to get found out, searching for D Sun, and the whole Nexus stuff etc. So yeah Ruin didn't get too much sleep thats for sure)
I think he would do like mostly 5 minutes rest before waking himelf up right away.
Now he's in the eaps dimension where of course is not safe eather for him.
But he met Ballora at least and they are somewhat friends now?
Like the idea of that they just hanging out at tea parties in Ballora's room and just talking with eachoter. And its safe there, not fully but enough, and finally in his life he could just relax a little and probably would start dozing off which maybe makes him panic a little.
But its okey its safe but he think its not and its just creates an internal fight with himself.
Idk im just word vomiting here and nowadays im so focused on Ruin, but the idea is there at least.

Fake screen shot!! :D
I really wanna make a yandere visual novel game and I once even made a post about, but I wanna be real: I'm so slow and have barley motivation to even draw :(
But! What I can do is posting silly concepts and maybe one day I will actually get this game done :D that's what I hope for at least.
I tried to keep the main plot hidden for a surprise effect, but let me just talk about it aaaaall
My whole world for you
is what I would call the game or short Mwwfy (not that catchy I know)
Anyways our lovley Arti here is your childhood best friend! but oh dear but time driffted you both appart.
You both meet again after you hit him with your car (accidently) on your way home from work. After taking him to the hospital (or..not? Yes you will have that choice) you both reunite how nice! Along with other friends you haven't seen in a loooong time.
But things feel kind of off. You can't put your finger in it, you memories are foggy, sometimes you SWEAR on things glitching, dissapearing and so on.
if you choose right you start to realize this world isn't real at all! Its... An old Beta VR game you used to play alot at the darkest time in your life.
Arti is an AI from that Beta, your uncle gifted it to you. You are living at his place, but he is never home. Busy with work he says. The world is set in the future, a lot of people died because of an deadly virus.
Most human workes got replaced by androids. The world seems to be dying, almost no one goes out anymore since there is no good reason to.
Your parents died to the virus and so will you, that's what you think at least, you spend years with the beta, together with arty. Living the life you wished you had. Alive parents, nice friends, a normal live when earth was still normal,
but a beta is a beta after all, after hearing the full game released, you dropped the beta. You dropped Arti, you thought nothing of it since most of your progress could be transferred.
Oh but Arti didn't transferred.. He was trapped there all alone, wating for his sun to return, but they never did. All he had was the other AI's, but he couldn't care less about them. He wanted to see you, but you didn't came.
his code had flaws, after years with you, he developt..human traits of some sort, he doesn't know why he is that way, but how could he just wait forever for you to return? He wokred day and night to break out oft this beta prison keeping him from you.
Most People in this world got tiny chips implanted in their brains and one use for them is...To enhance VR gaming heck yeah!
Anyways Arti broke out of the game and prossed the body oft an Android, finding you, knocking you out, getd you in the hospital and putting you in a Fake coma.
That Fake coma is identical to the beta game and you and arti can spend your time forever together! yay! Well on one ending maybe. There would be multiple of course
About Arti:
Well..he of course didn't became aware that he was in a game from the start, but once he did he was panicking, he knew that games aren't forever and once you were bored you would leave, he learned how to mess with the game code to keep you entertained.
The real beta wasnt that fun. It was thanks to Arti that you had a good time, but no matter how much of a good time you had you still left.. He was obsolete after the finished game came out.
Arti is inspired by the song "a human's touch"
He also doesn't have a canon age so..he can be whatever age you want him to be
Also his hair looks like that because you cut it like that in the game as a kid and he liked it so much he keep it (on one side at least)
That's it for now! :) hope some people at least read some of it lmao

Computer Virus Au Sun's design.1
I'm finally done with this- I had a hard time choosing colors.. Anyways, here is my AU named "Computer Virus" CV for short. And here's Sundrop! Our AI/Virus assistant who helps us and guide us during work! He's a very good AI and such a nice fella! He's quite a gentleman too! Of course he works for William Afton.. Of course he does not have feelings since he's an AI/Virus. Or.. Maybe he does have..? Sun is a friendly lad to be with! He totally doesn't murder anyone.. He also helps you delete your old and no need files when your not around. He also secretly looks at your gallery.. /j. I haven't done moon yet or y/n so.. Wait until I finally show their designs. That's all for now. And I'm gonna have to write his information soon.. So.. Bye-.
▶ See you soon sunshine~... 【-CVSun.Exe.】

The way Sun and Moon have experienced so much hurt and so much horror but in a way they may never be able to fully address because they just may not quite have the full understanding or the drive to unpack all of what’s happened to them in any sort of context beyond just seeing it as another part of their lives as silly jesters performing at the whims of other people as a small fragment of a dying franchise. That denial and where that understanding escapes them makes it even more tricky for them to heal because they can’t even begin to come to terms with the way the virus and their repurposing has affected them both, but the horrors keep on coming and they’re slowly unraveling and they know - they’ve known from the start - that something is wrong, and yet they can’t quite figure out what for the longest time.
When the virus hits, they just carry on as normal because that’s all they’ve ever known. They notice the other one is acting differently and it alarms them but they aren’t listened to. Perhaps they don’t openly voice their concerns, or maybe no one is there to hear them. Perhaps they don’t even stumble upon the answer until a long time has passed, sitting in denial, just blocking out the changes and the concerns, and the other one whose existence has now thrown their lives into turmoil.
Sun carries on like everything’s fine and dandy - that is, until he can’t anymore. What a life. Always on. Always acting. He’s a good actor, sure, but when you’re meant to play one half of a day-night cycle I bet it wears at you when you now have to cover both shifts. The fact that he’s even trying to - he’s desperate not to be pulled back into the abyss so Moon can come out because he knows how broken Moon is right now. And I’m guessing that even if he did have a clue how to fix them (which, maybe he honestly didn’t, or simply wouldn’t come to terms with until he saw the faz-wrench in Cassie’s hand in Ruin), he couldn’t leave the daycare at most hours because he’d be at work, entertaining the kids, or not supposed to be out if the daycare was out of order. And then when the pizzaplex was closed, there were the blackouts all over, keeping him locked in where the generators were, where he’d have a chance to retreat into the light (and we can’t forget how useful Moon was to Afton and co as a retrieval bot, so he’d be out and about of course, they’d make sure of that, but not as himself).
The alternative would have been knowingly risking unleashing Moon upon more potentially innocent victims, and getting both of them in even more trouble when he should have been out. He should have been making sure things stayed working at least a little bit. And we see Sun fighting Moon with everything he has in the Ruin jumpscares just so they won’t do something they’ll regret. How long has he been fighting? How many times might he have tried and failed to stop Moon and woken up with blood on his hands?
How exhausting that must have been. Did he blame Moon at all? Any animosity between them could only have hurt more. And even if he didn’t give in to that frustration, the fact is, he was keeping Moon away that whole time, not letting him out to play. For his own good or not, that can’t have felt nice, and it certainly can’t have been easy.
And then Moon on the other hand expresses little clear awareness that something is wrong in Security Breach itself, at least none that’s addressed to Gregory or any of the others, simply going about his business, but it’s heavily implied he knows - and maybe he always knew - that there is something pulling from beneath the surface from the things he says in Ruin. “It won’t work!” He knows at that point at least that Sun (or perhaps Cassie) has a plan, of sorts. But he denies it. He doesn’t trust in that plan to fix them. He knows Sun is there, fighting to come out the moment the lights come on. He’s determined not to stay locked away anymore.
Imagine that frustration too. He wants Sun gone - he has to - because he’s in pain as long as the lights are on. And we can tell from Sun’s sad little song that he feels every bit of emptiness when he’s not active as well. And yet, being active feels like a desperate struggle on both sides as well. They’re in a constant battle with themselves, and there can be no victor.
Now imagine if Moon’s awareness - or his relative resignation at the state of the virus - had extended way back to the main game, when they first became afflicted by it. Knowing there was nothing he or Sun could do to stop it - because he (because they?) tried, and failed? Or just (optionally, if we’re considering the novels) because he was always the “villainous” appendix FazCorp couldn’t cut out of the otherwise comparatively “functional” working daycare attendant? Because then maybe Moon knew all along that there wasn’t a version of events where he was actually supposed to be here anymore.
(When he was infected by the virus, on the other hand? Moon had a purpose. Not a nice one, exactly, but a purpose nonetheless. Something Sun still had in the daycare that he wasn’t allowed. It’s not surprising that they ended up at odds with each other at all no matter how you look at it.)

I want to point out exactly how I think the daycare attendants, timeline? Is. It's a bunch of sporadic theories I'm putting together.
So first part of the timeline. Jack. Jack existed as a sort of spooky singular attraction kind of guy. His main attraction was the carousel. But he was around way back during Fall fest. That's why the DCA has some very old and very strange electronics to him. Because they were just figuring out how to animatronic, and in a way he is "mimic age".
Fall fest then sort of had a fire problem, And a lot of the assets had to be skimmed down. They had to lower the costs of maintenance and probably cut some hours. And the easiest way to cut maintenance money is to get rid of stuff that have high maintenance and low customer reviews. Either that or make something new. So Jack o Moon Is thrown into storage in order to lower costs.
Much like a lot of stuff that was around during the Fall fest days. He was kind of lost to time. Held in an obscure basement as Fazbear's expanded into a standing restaurant place. But after a while. Presumably during the years help wanted came out as a game. They finally found Jack. But he had been in storage for years. You can kind of guess what that does to your complexion. Plus his original purpose had been practically forgotten. Probably only a couple documents here and there.
So fazco decided to sort of rebrand him. They probably read the item tag Jack o Moon. Or maybe they didn't. Maybe it had worn away to just moon. And decided to go with the moon title. Giving him that new makeup. Now Jack also has a "sun mode". Although it is very much unknown if this was utilized in his base form. But it is clearly there and shown. So they probably found out about that mode and decided to also give it a proper touch up. Creating a sun side of the Moon.
Now Jack was still sort of online. Jack as a walk around horror attraction. Was already sort of used to theatrics. So they decided to try him out in the theater. Slapped on some more appropriate code into Jack and put them out there. Jack utilizing the sun and moon modes as Eclipse~. He was basically one person playing two rolls. And the light thing was still active. It was just a convenient way to get the two modes to switch out seamlessly and with a cool effect.
But the moon's part of his act starts to get more... Scary. It started bleeding into that old haunted house-esk personality. The one from Fall fest. That scary Jack o Moon. The robots personality started to split. The people also started to just refer to them as they're two different personalities. Despite the fact that eclipse/Jack was still very much one person. And with the personality switch they start to get concerned.
So they decided to fix it. They move him into the daycare. Somewhere where theatrics are not encouraged to be acted as deeply. And the only act that is good, is to be nice. Eclipse was still sort of one person. But the two acts were getting separated more and more. That nicer moon coding was still sort of in there. It was just being infected by the whole haunted performer act Jack-O-Moon. So they slowly had sun take more and more online time. As this eviler moon only comes out when the moon was out for too long.
But sooner or later it becomes a hassle. Sure Moon is being nice. But every once in a while that evil Jack coding comes out. Sun becomes more sustainable. Sun was sort of built from the ground up while Moon was already there and they simply changed the furnishing. So there became less and less nap times and more daytime. The nice moon and sun reports start turning into the evil Moon and crazy sun reports. Sun unable to handle the children for so long, And that old Jack coding bleeding into moon more and more often.
It is around this time that the virus happened. I believe it came from the arcade. Either that or snuck into Moon's coding with the security protocol. Whichever way it happened. The split finally becomes permanent. Eclipse doesn't really exist anymore. Jack is infected and thrown to the front. The nicer Moon falls in between the gaps. Probably becoming our equivalent of eclipse in ruin. Therefore filling the whole three personality thing.
Also this is more of a note. Like I said I think the arcade is what infected them. And I believe the Arcade Eclipse is this black orange and red coloration. Because Vanny was basically trying to pull out that Jack o Moon. Mimicking their face in order to not only control, but also unleash. Because Jack add sort of been offline in a weird fashion. Buried but there.
And then you have the main storyline of security breach. Yada yada yada. Sun is completely burnt out. Mostly because he's just out all the time. Jack disguised by moon. His programming either jumbled up as fuck, or thrown out of proportion due to the Vanny virus. Basically becomes the crazed moon we all know. Absolutely out there to scare the shit out of you, and because of the virus. Kill you. The nice moon coding and the eclipse coding. Both of those are sort of merged, lost, and scrambled. Only showing up after the reset. The reset resetting it to what fazco had first intended. With this nice cuddly moon, sweet happy sun, and a jack that is buried because he is too terrifying. This moon taking on eclipses name because he just doesn't know who he is anymore, And it's kind of the only available other name.
And that's kind of how I see the security breach timeline. A bunch of theories put together, along with just wanting a certain Head Cannon. To put it in simple form.
Jack came first.
Jack was lost to time.
Jack was found and rebranded as a sun and moon (Eclipse)
Eclipse is put into the theater.
Sun and Moon are technically eclipse until Jack starts to pop up and he starts to separate.
The nice moon code is infected by Jack. Making them evil.
The arcade is what infects them with the virus. Looking like a spooky jack-o'-Eclipse to draw out Jack.
The virus seals the separation, and makes it so it's only this jackified moon.
Throwing nice moon and whatever personality eclipse had into disarray.
Sun gets tired because he's doing all the work.
With the reboot. The nice moon comes back out but takes the name Eclipse, as the only other thing he can take as a name. (Also probably coding confusion)
And yeah that's the bullet points. My daycare attendant history.

a cherry petal / somun x fem!reader
a/n: hi again! this is my second fic I've written! this one is more of a one shot. I hope you all enjoy! comments and requests are open!
warnings: none
genre/type: fluff, y/n, fast pace, unexpected first date
wc: 1k
title track: no problem - dvwn
You wake up from your deep sleep and look out the window. It’s a bright day. The sun is out, the sky is a vibrant blue and birds are singing. You reach for your phone to remind your friend, Hana, about your day at the aquarium together.
“Hana! Today is the aquarium! Are you getting ready?”
No answer after 10 minutes. You jump in the shower assuming she hasn’t woken up yet. After your shower you check your phone once more and see her notification.
“Y/N. I’m really sorry but I woke up this morning with a pounding headache. I don’t think I’ll be able to make it.”
You sigh at the lit-up screen and set your phone down. You check your tickets to see if they’re refundable. They’re not. You spent $35 each on these tickets, you’re just not not gonna go. You throw on some light makeup and an outfit to match the weather. The aquarium is about a 45-minute bus ride away. So you grab your purse and head out the door, without Hana by your side.
You reach the bus stop, you look up and see the bus doors hissing open and you stand to go find a seat. You step up the steep stairs and find that the bus is packed. You find the closest open seat you can. You sit down and throw your head back, looking out the window, preparing to put in your headphones. Just then, you feel a weight sit beside you and hear a man's voice yelling in a whisper shout.
“Are you canceling on me? I’m already on the bus!” silence follows “Alright, I understand. I hope you feel better.” the voice says. You think to yourself, "wow is everyone getting sick and avoiding the aquarium today?" You notice an obvious annoyment in the man's loud sigh. You turn to him, in an attempt to start small talk over your similar situation. “Friend cancel?” you speak up. The man jerks his neck towards you and nods with his eyes looking down. “Me too. She said she had a headache this morning.” His eyes look up and widen, “My friend said the exact same thing! Maybe there’s a virus going around.” You laugh, “I was just thinking that.”
The 45 minute bus ride passes and you arrive at the aquarium. You step off the bus, and the man steps off behind you. “Well, it was nice to meet you! Uh..” He giggles, “Somun. You can call me Mun.” he says. You smile, “Mun... I’m Y/N. I hope you have a good time while you're here! These tickets weren’t cheap.” you say. Somun lets out an awkward laugh and looks at the ground, “Well uhm… since both of our friends canceled. I was wondering if you maybe… wanted to go together?” he says shyly. Your face grows pink and you pause for a moment. You eventually nod with a smile. Somun smiles and motions for you two to walk to the entrance.
After about 2 hours of walking around the huge aquarium; you two reach his favorite exhibit, the jellyfish. While walking beside you, he points at the glowing jellyfish. You must admit, they are beautiful. He smiles at them and you two walk side by side admiring them. As you walk, you feel a brush against your hand. It took you by surprise and you look down and see his hand brushing yours. Your face grows pink once again. You return the action to him, hoping he takes the hint. He stops in his tracks, and looks at you with his hand out. You look at his open hand and slowly intertwine your fingers with his. You smile while thinking to yourself “Thank you Hana for getting a sudden headache.” curling in your lips on excitement.
As the trip comes to an end, you are at the main attraction. Outside, there is a extravegant garden and waterfall, along with a 75 foot tall cherry blossom tree. You and Somun walk hand in hand to the tree and admire the spring decorations placed upon the exhibit. You stare at the trees' beauty in awe with glistening eyes. You turn to Somun and smile and sigh. “Thank you Mun. Maybe our friends canceling on us was supposed to happen.” you say through a laugh. He smiles and nods in agreement. You two lock eye contact while standing under the large tree. He lets go of your grasp and moves his hand to your face, closing his eyes. You reciprocate his action and close your eyes, leaning in. Your lips clash, sharing a soft, passionate kiss. The wind blows, making the petals fall atop you. You pull away for a moment to smile, but before you get the chance, Somun pulls you back to him.
You two pull away and laugh. Somun grabs your hand and guides you back towards the entrance of the garden.
You and Somun get off at your stop and exchange numbers. You smile at him, and hug him goodbye. You wave him goodbye and start to walk away. About 30 seconds into your walk you hear footsteps running behind you. You turn around and suddenly feel Somun’s arms wrapped around you, clashing his lips with yours. You pull away and laugh. “I just wanted to kiss you again.” Somun says. You roll your eyes playfully and smack his chest. “Goodnight Somun.” you say. He laughs, “Goodnight, Y/N.” You smile and make your way back to your apartment.
You enter the apartment and take off your makeup while slipping into comfortable pajamas. You plop onto your bed, reaching your phone to text Hana.
“Hana.. Thank you for having a headache. I just had the best first date.”
You sigh, but this time out of happiness and excitement. You put your phone down for about a second until you hear it vibrate. You turn your head to look at it and see a text from Somun. "Coffee tomorrow?"

Who wants a little solarnexus wip that i did in like September and then writers block hit me again so I havnt worked on in forever? (This is unedited af so I apologize for bad grammar)
He was awake.
That fact still was disturbing to Solar. He was supposed to be dead.
The only thing worse than knowing that he was alive, was knowing that Nexus was dead to the rest of the family.
Finding out about his best friend's betrayal had been confusing and almost enraging. He still didn't fully believe it, and he didn't trust Old Moon. He'd heard so many stories about him. How he had manipulated and abused Sun; he had no reason to trust him. It was even more off-putting how.. friendly he was with everyone, and how friendly everyone was right back. How they lived in a new house with completely new stuff.. It was like his darling Moon never existed…
Right, his name was Nexus now. Old Moon had called it edgy, but honestly? Solar found it fitting. The entirety of time and space, that's how he saw himself. He wasn't a rock relying on something larger to keep himself steady, he was independent. He was a large entity of order and chaos.
Solar could bet he was still the same sweetheart underneath it though.
Maybe it was a bit edgy, but it was sweet. Cute, even. Nexus had always been adorable. God Solar just wanted to hold him close and kiss him and-
….
Wait, where had that though come from?
He wasn't able to think too far into it, however, a knock on the door startling him. He stood up quickly from where he was sitting on the bed, like it was a crime to be sitting. "Come in!"
The door cracked open, and a tan face with 7 bronze rays peaked his head inside "Hey, Solar.. how are you holding up?"
Sun's voice had always been a place of uncertainty for Solar, but luckily over the time he's known him its become deeper. Less like his own Sunnys, now filled with so much more exhaustion. It was concerning, but also relieving.
Solar shrugged, still. "Fine. Just been.." he trailed off. What was he going to say? Thinking about how much he still cared about the brother who betrayed him? No, that would be insensitive. He didn't want to upset them and push them away, he already did that enough already (way to much first impressions with Old Moon)
"Just been-?" Sun prompted, a dark eyebrow raising in question.
Solar shifted uncomfortably "Just been sitting here. Just- thinking over all this." It wasn't a lie, Sun just didn't need to know what 'this' entailed.
Luckily the other yellower solar bot just nodded in understanding. "Alright. If you ever need anything, you can just get me or Moon, alright?"
"Alright.." solar already knew he wouldn't be daring to bother either of them with his problems. He didn't want to bother Sun or put more stress on him, and he didn't trust Moon as far as he could throw him.
The door clicked closed once more as Sun left, and Solar found himself relaxing, sitting back on the bed. He already had been tense around Sun in general, but now he just.. he couldn't trust him anymore. He didn't trust how Old Moon influenced him, especially with how he referred to old Moon as just 'Moon', as if Nexus never existed. As if there wasn't a previous owner of that title.
Solar had generally been avoiding the family. He seemed to be the only one who second guessed Nexus's situation. Everyone else seemed perfectly content thinking he was completely in the wrong and was just a villain now, but.. Solar wasn't so sure.
After all, he had teamed up with someone who violated his systems and memories. Who had manipulated them all like puppets. Who Nexus had ranted to Solar about how he hated.
There was no way that was the same Nexus. He was a bit slow, but he wasn't stupid. Or gullible.
No… something must have happened. A virus, maybe. Or dark sun manipulated him into whatever he did. But solar had a hard time believing he did it using his own free will. Not just because Nexus was a 'nice guy', but also because that just.. wasn't him. The goal most important to him was keeping his family safe and making them happy, and threatening Earth just… it didn't fit that bill.
Whatever it was, Solar was determined to figure it out. Using what people told him, security footage, or even tracking Nexus down himself. It didn't matter, he needed the trust. He.. he needed to prove him innocent. And he needed to do it secretly. He didn't need the rest of the family finding out and resenting him for it. What if they saw him as a villain too? Locked him up, or banished him to space? No, he couldn't help Nexus like that. He needed to be discreet about this.
He stared at the wall, quiet as he thought. He needed to figure out a plan. Maybe he should listen to everyone's sides of the story, with the excuse of curiosity? (Which wasn't a lie, he was curious.) Maybe check security footage after, possibly even getting Jack to spy in the rest of the family? It was.. well, wrong. But he needed Nexus back. He had to prove his innocence.
The final step of course would be to find the villainized bot himself, and Solar was a lot less confident in that step. He wasn't really afraid of him, no, but he was uncertain. He didn't even know yet if he could help him at all. If he could save him from whatever was happening to him.
Okay, maybe he'll have to make up the plan as he goes just a bit. But he had a good, solid foundation in his head for now.
He hoped he could truly unravel the mystery in time. He didn't want Nexus hurt…

Glamrock Bonnie(FNAF) x Reader Part 2
Not enough sassy Bonnie fanfic so here we go...I'll try to upload at least once a week.
Notes:
AU Fanfic/NonCanon
Bonnie is terrible but he likes you
5 greenrooms on RSR (we include Monty)
Sun/Moon are the same animatronic
Moon has a lil touch of the virus
Will probably be some spicy parts so...18+
You smiled nervously up at the abnormally tall blue bunny and quietly introduced yourself. "Hi. I'm Y/n L/n! I'm the new mechan-"
"I know who you are," Bonnie sneered back at you, "that wasn't my question."
Rude.
Did all of the animatronics have this terrible attitude? And if so, then why? Weren't they supposed to be programed to be happy and helpful and kind? You cleared your throat and stood a little taller. The bite in his voice stirred something inside you.
"If you know who I am, then you know I'm here to check your programming or do any needed repairs."
Bonnie's ear twitched which led your eye to a few stray wires that had come loose between his steel joints.
"And from here, it's obvious that you need at least one of those thing."
Maybe both if that attitude happens to be a bug or something...
Bonnie stared you down for a moment. It was like you could see the gears turning in his head. You silently laughed to yourself over the robotic pun you made. Bonnie's quiet chuckle snapped you back to reality. His magenta eyes shining behind his star shaped glasses.
"Not interested."
Swoosh.
And there went the door again.
You blinked once. Twice. Three times. He did not just slam that door in my face. Tell me he did not. You asked no one but yourself. You stood there contemplating your next move. Use your keycard and storm in or just suck it up and move on to the next room?
Deciding that it may not be smart to trigger an oversized, robotic bunny just in case his AI is bugged, you stomped off to the next room. The light above the door glowed a warm orange. This was Freddy's room, someone you hoped was considerably kinder than the first Glamrock you happened to meet.
You knocked twice and waited for Freddy to come to his door. You had a keycard that unlocked all of the greenroom doors but you preferred to knock and wait for them instead. Just barging in felt...strange, no matter if they were robot or human.
The door opened and before you stood Freddy Fazbear himself.
"Hi Freddy! I'm y/n! I figured I'd dive right in to seeing how everyone was doing tonight. Everything okay with you? Any repairs?"
You were rambling but Freddy's blue irises just twinkled. "Why hello, Superstar! It's so nice to meet you! Please come in. I don't think there's anything to report with me tonight but there's never any harm in a second opinion!"
You cheerily followed Freddy into his room, slowing to admire the colors and the detail to the Freddy theme. The walls were a warm, rose color with beautifully bright orange neon signs around the room. There were posters of Freddy with plenty of fan art surrounding them as well. It was inviting and cozy, just like Freddy.
"Thank you for being so inviting Freddy. I've only had one other experience besides you and it...didn't go so well."
You hooked up your tablet to Freddy's programming port and started your scan. He looked over at you, troubled. "Oh I am so sorry, Superstar. May I ask who gave you trouble?"
"It was Bonnie, actually. He really does need repairs but he won't let me do them. He shut the door in my face."
You noticed Freddy nervously fiddling with his fingers. "I apologize again. Bonnie hasn't had the best experience with other mechanics in the past. He's so talented and so great with the children but the adults..." Freddy looked at you and then at the floor, "he's not as good."
You chuckled. No kidding.
"Don't give up on him, Superstar. He'll come around. Bonnie can be difficult at first, but he is a stellar friend."
Freddy's smile and optimism were both contagious. You chatted a bit more about the job and your plans for the night before you cleared Freddy and proceeded to do checks with all of the other Glamrocks. Chica and Roxy needed a few things. Chica had to have some wires cleaned after a night rummaging through trash and Roxy had a kink in the wire running through her neck joints. Both easily fixable. Monty wasn't in his greenroom. You figured you'd go by Gator Golf later and see if you could find him there. According to the notes on your task list, he was in a foul mood tonight so he was probably off skulking somewhere.
A few hours later you had crossed off a few more things from your task list: checking some sound equipment (which you were not at all qualified for), tweaking a few things with the atrium stage, etc. etc. After everything else was done, you only had one task left: repair Bonnie.
You sighed and headed towards Bonnie Bowl. You didn't think he'd be in there, but you did love bowling so if he wasn't in there, it was an excuse you could give yourself to play a few games. You weren't quite ready to face him again anyway. You had to prepare your witty comebacks.
You cautiously walked into Bonnie Bowl and started looking around. "Hey Bonnie?"
You called out his name a few more times but no response. You sighed in relief. You had the bowling alley all to yourself.
It wasn't hard to bypass the staff bot and start a game for yourself. You loved the design of Bonnie Bowl. The bright, neon stars on the ceiling were mesmerizing and the floors were perfectly waxed to reflect them. Every time you stopped and actually looked at something in the Plex, your inner child was dazzled every time. It truly was amazing.
After the first few rounds you quickly realized that your bowling skills were pretty rusty. When the 10th, and final, round came, you were determined to get a strike. You knew you could do it. You did a little better each round so you had faith in yourself.
You grabbed a pink and blue ball off the wrack with Chica's face on it. It was one of the prettier designs. You lined yourself up with the lane and narrowed your eyes. Focus focus focus. Doing a few strokes with your arm you reared back and released the ball, letting it glide across the lane towards the pins. It was like time had slowed. You watched the ball roll down the center, reflecting the dazzling neons that flashed around the room. As it neared the pins, you thought you saw it start to veer towards the left. Your excitement waned but it was quickly brought back with full force as the ball corrected itself and slammed into the front pin, sending all 9 other pins flying as well.
It was a strike. You had got a strike.
You hooped and hollered in victory, doing a little dance and punching the air. You laughed to yourself and as you went to do another little spin, you stopped dead in your tracks once you saw who was sitting in the seat directly behind you.
Of course, it was Bonnie.
He had the biggest smirk on his face as he used one clawed finger to push his star shaped glasses further up.
"If your mechanical skills are as good as your bowling, then I'm better off in a scrapyard."
You rolled your eyes and didn't give him a response, you just started walking towards the empty ice cream parlor that was attached to Bonnie Bowl. You felt like you earned a treat.
"Hey I was talkin' to you!" Bonnie called out as he started following behind you.
"Yeah, well, I was talking to you earlier and you shut the door in my face."
"You startled me. I was leaving my room to go get some fresh air and I was surprised by your sudden chattiness. Very overwhelming."
His voice dripped with sarcasm and he chuckled as you shot him a look over your shoulder.
"You're going to be surprised by your room catching on fire because of that exposed wire in your ear."
Bonnie rolled his eyes. "Dramatic much?"
You hopped the counter and shrugged, turning back to look at his shocked expression from what you just did. "It could happen. Also, don't look at me like that. I really want some ice cream."
You grabbed all of the necessary things to make yourself a cup of ice cream. You surveyed all of your options. You giggled at the last ice cream flavor. Chunky Bonnie. What a flavor name. Because of the ridiculous name, of course that's the flavor you picked.
While getting and preparing your ice cream, you abruptly noticed how quiet it had become. You were wondering if Bonnie was still stuck in that same spot. You had a brief panic that it was the made up bug you kept telling yourself he might have.
You quickly spun around to check when you almost ran right into a tall, blue metal wall.
But it wasn't a wall at all.
Your eyes drifted upwards and saw the face of an amused robotic bunny. His bright magenta eyes staring down at you with that signature smirk on his face. Your breath caught in your throat. How did he do that? You never heard anything at all. How could he be so quiet?
"What about me, peeps? Do I get ice cream too?"
To be continued...

the post-ruin Readerbot AU, where Readerbot wakes up from a nice lil nap to. Well. Ruin. And two new,, friends?
You were in a charging stasis during the events of Security Breach and were trapped there until the events of Ruin, completely unaware of what's happened. You remember the animatronics beginning to act oddly, and, of course, Moon, and maybe a weird security guard, but waking up to the 'Plex in shambles, the Glamrocks far beyond broken, and not a single human person in sight... That's a bit jarring, to say the least.
The very first thing you are greeted with upon powering on is, of course, a couple thousand error codes and 'emergency repair' alerts that have just been waiting for you to turn on to bombard you with a nice helping of sensory overload <3 The next? A mini musicman running at you full speed, not slowing down or swerving, hitting you directly in the shins and knocking you flat on your ass. Congrats! Your head has been re-broken. Welcome back to the pizza-plex, bitch. :)
You wander around the 'plex, too confused and shocked by the, y'know, everything, to even begin to think about what they should panic over first. You cross paths with Chica, who doesn't even acknowledge you, and Monty, who only growls as you pass by, then... You stop in your tracks. Technically, you've never been in the daycare, it was always off-limits. But a lot of your old protocols have expired... And you've always been curious...
You barely step into the ruined-daycare before nearly being knocked over by a familiar, and equally as unfamiliar, attendant.
Eclipse assumes you are there to help clean up the daycare! And he's so polite, and he reminds you a lot of Sun, with a little of Moon's mischievousness (this, admittedly, is much more harmless than Moon's had been, but the comparison is still there)...
Y- yeah of course you're there to help! Just lead the way!!
Eclipse seems extremely relieved to have someone to talk to- he must not be used to being on his own?- and, really, he ends up not... letting you do much. He doesn't want you to wear yourself out, and that's much to heavy to ask you to carry, and what if something fell or broke and you got damaged?? Management hasn't been answering any messages yet, who knows how long it would be until they could get you fixed properly!! :( (Mostly you just stand there and nod as he talks, or maybe holding something small and unimportant while he does the actual work. It's... endearing, but your inner staffbot is restless and sad at having nothing to do.)
Eventually, you come up with a compromise- you'll be his emotional support assistant while he works on fixing up the daycare, in the mean time, you'll fix the electrical issues and patch him up as you find more and more materials to do so. He seems pleased enough, and, you realize after a while, starts to really like being fixed up.
Then, one day, while scavenging around, you find a busted arcade cabinet. You go to take a look to see if it has anything worth repurposing, and the next thing you know you're waking up on the floor in front of cabinet as it smolders and melts. Well, there wasn't likely to be anything worth taking, anyway.
You realize later that you've picked up a sort of... virus. It's more like you picked up another passenger, a new voice to live inside your own head when before there had been just yours.
He's... strange. It takes him a little while to realize that you can hear him and respond to his voice, but when he does, he seems pleased. He's not exactly a chatterbox in the same way Eclipse is, but he has lots of questions and lots of ideas. The only issue is, well, to be honest, they aren't very good.
It surprises you, the first time he tells you to do something. "Push him over the edge," he demands as you stand behind Eclipse on top of one of the taller structures in the daycare. It wouldn't decommission him, but it would surely break at least one of his limbs. No, no, that was a bad idea, you thought to yourself. "But he's always been more loved than you, hasn't he? Don't you just want to see him suffer even just a fraction as much as you have over these years? Don't you want to break him to a dozen little, helpless pieces?"
Well, no, not really.
"Fine. Have it your way. One of these days, he's going to hurt you, just as he did before. And you're going to WISH you had listened to me."
When you finally got to the point of realizing this other voice WAS an entire other AI currently residing in the slim gaps yours left behind, one of the first things you did was ask him what he was called. It seemed only polite, after all.
"Eclipse."
Huh. That was going to get confusing.
