I saw that one meme with DS!Nightmare and DS!Dream's faces slapped on pregnant women and it was really cursed, but it got me thinking.. what if it had lore...(aka real)? Something consumed right then and there at that moment and i went to the drawing app(procreate)... now i present you them but with a baby, p.s. this is super self-indulgent Also, this was also inadvertently caused by @1ka0oo when she made a drawing of DS!Nightmare and DS!Dream married lol (on twitter, since it's not posted on Tumblr, her twitter is @ashi_ashily. Go follow her!)(I personally apologise to my mutuals for having to see this but this is the person u followed):
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Take what you will from this, the second picture with DS!Nightmare on the bottom right corner is from another timeline. But the other pictures are just him and Dream from the current timeline. Basically, what would happen if they just got married after they reconciled and began to get close.. Well, close enough that they got a baby now. No i will not explain myself, i don't know how my brain works either. More ramblings underneath:
What are the other's reactions to this? Ink is somewhat surprised, Cross is happy for Nightmare but at the same time wants to kill Dream, Error is just happy for them, Blue is... not surprised at all lol. Dream gets teased and bashed a lot by Cross and Error (most of the bashing comes from Cross) and Ink is just trying to process the information given to him right now (probably has a few existential crisis's because wow his boss has a child now does this change anything or what, he was not expecting this, first the marriage now the baby, what's happening anymore). Blue was kind of just waiting for it to happen, he's still somewhat banned from the castle but drops by here and there to talk to Nightmare and congratulate him or bother Dream. Dream immediately kicks Blue out whenever he sees him. Error probably knits clothes for the baby and Cross is going to be the best uncle/second-parent-figure that kid ever has. Random HC (Headcannon): Dream's wings are made of light right? I think that they'd get a flame like appearance to them when he gets incredibly upset or angry or just unstable. And if you're wondering how Nightmare got pregnant, uhhh, he's trans, but also magic, yeah. Nightmare hates everything and everyone because he's tired, he's grumpy and if Blue doesn't shut up he's going to kill him right then and there. He opts for more simpler clothing because he's too tired to clothe himself properly, and maybe he steals Dream's clothes or maybe just anyone's clothes because he just doesn't care at that point... Dream is more irritable but still patient, just very sleep deprived, more than usual anyway. Probably constantly worries about Nightmare and the baby, Nightmare feels a bit smothered by Dream's overprotectiveness but honestly just too tired to care. Oh yeah, that guy that Dream killed in the second drawing? I was originally going to expand on that with Nightmare arguing with Dream because Dream promised he wouldn't kill anyone or execute criminals anymore, but that happened impulsively so yeah..
This is super self-indulgent, i just like imagining them in post-reconciliation scenarios and what would happen if certain situations occurred. I just really like situations where it's just very domestic, or very painful and they're just trying to make do with it and heal from it.
[Fun Fact: It's my first time ever drawing DS! Cross, Error, Ink and Blue so i kinda had trouble figuring out how i wanted to draw them.. In the end i settled for something simple with a few minor changes, not that it's noticeable though]

enough rambles has gotten me to this point and the time has passed. the bear s4 wishlist right now.
(quick note these all dont have to happen in the same plot LMAO. its more of a "if at least ONE of these things happen, i'll be happy!" thing)
i'm starting this out on a rough foot: carmy and syd argument. it has to happen. i was serious about that when i said in a previous post. in each other's faces and everything. i need us circling back to the s1 vibes right now.
add on: this argument needs to be what prompts syd to leave. i need that whole crew seeing carmy as a bad guy for a few days. white boy loss!
more richie lore. more berzatto lore. more syd lore. all three. in terms of berzatto lore i'd fucking kill to know about their dad tbh. richie lore? i need to know how he got so close to the berzattos. there's obviously something going on in his family to why he's never seen with them. syd lore? ohhh so much shit i wanna know. her family! the catering! little backstory on her tats! storer don't even give me the fucking season if i don't get a syd centric episode.
i also really want a mikey centric episode too!! i understand that he's supposed to haunt the narrative, but i really want to see something about him rather than it just being "oh shit! mikey! anyways—".
marcus/syd/luca trio friendship. look, i have a lot that i want but i need this at the most. getting a scene where they all cook and shittalk carmy is something that will get me through the day.
i can feel the tomato that's about to be tossed at me, but carmy has to apologize to claire. the way i see it, he has three main people he needs to apologize to: her, richie (no, the one he did in ep 1 does not count. it was half-assed and he's more worried about the fact he did it rather than fixing the problem.) and syd. in my mind, i don't think he's ever going to get the balls to apologize to the other two if he doesn't apologize to her first. (or it might be flipped to where he cant apologize to her until he learns how to apologize to those two, but i'd prefer the former to be honest!)
rough foot p2: imo the bear can't come out in one piece. whether it's because of a bad review, jimmy running out of money as a whole so it can't get it funded anymore or, i semi remember someone saying burn it down. (which? i'd weirdly like??? i'd be devastated as fuck if that happened but also...i'm really interested to see the comeback from that.) i just need a wakeup call for carmy for the overall state of the kitchen. (also because i just DON'T see the show ending with it being like "and they did fine dining forever!" it just feels disappointing to end it that way, especially if the sandwich window is apparently doing way better than the restaurant itself...take us back to the roots!! or something!!)
the bear's timeline is so fucking confusing to the point i don't know what's the current date in the show right now (i've been assuming somewhere in between july-august?) so this one is less than likely to happen but i want them to go to some kind of award thing so bad...james beard or something else i don't fucking care, just give me the group in formal wear please. (extra points if this the only time they're bonding after a while!)
i'm not really into shipping culture like that w/ this show (aka idc who gets with who as long as they're happy.) BUT sydcarmies should at least be allowed a win with the way carmy apologizes to syd. i really want it to be somewhere personal and i hope it includes well—food. drop the collaborative dish while they talk in syd's apartment, thank you. (cause it's gonna leave a sour taste in my mouth if they're uncomfortably distant for life.)
lastly, don't give me anymore copenhagen flashbacks. don't get me wrong, i love seeing carmy happy but every time i read kitchen confidential, (which is mostly set in nyc) i just think "i wonder if carmy went through the same shit". more nyc carmy please if we're going to get flashbacks on past culinary experiences! it doesn't even have to be about fields, but i really wanna see what happened in other places carmy visited.
i feel like that's all in my head for now? feel free to elaborate on these, it's just me spitting out random shit that's been in my head. (i might make a hc list soon? is that something people want????)

Okay, lore drop number three! Sorry it took me so long guys, I appreciate your patience.
This lore drop is about god laws. Meaning the origin of the gods, how they work, etc.
The first god was Ellowyn. She came into being when the universe my worlds occupy was formed. She began to use her power to create her first world, and spent a while watching over her infant world alone.
But opposites attract, and creation without destruction can cause a whole slew of issues. Flash forward a bit and Ellowyn catches the attention of a wandering destruction god. Flash forward a bit more and Ellowyn and the destruction god, Casimir, are married. Flash forward a lot more and they have a bunch of kids and boom, pantheon.
Truly a very detailed origin story. I actually do have a more detailed version but that’s spoilers and stuff and also this post isn't even really about that.
So obviously if you want to be a god on my worlds, the most popular method is to be born into it.
But what about some more accessible methods for the average citizen? Well I've got some good news for you.
There are in fact ways to become a god without being born into it. They’re just extremely difficult and painful and most people die trying. Still totally worth it though right?
You guys remember the prime vessels from the first big lore drop right? (If not, you can find that here)
Well, being a prime vessel is the best way to become a god.
Essentially over their lives prime vessels tend to spend a lot of time gaining more power and perfecting said power. At any point, if a prime vessel feels that their power has changed enough from their god's original power, they can try and turn that power into their own, turning themselves into a god.
What they have to do is find a way for their power to pass through their soul filter instead of overpowering it. It's a very difficult process, and if you fail, you die. Fun times.
The other way is to completely destroy a god. Make sure you do this while they have no apparent heirs to at least one of their powers. Then you simply absorb their power and enough of the energy from the world to tie yourself to it, then accept becoming a god.
Now then, you may be asking, how exactly do I—hypothetically—kill a god?
Well, first you have to destroy the world(s) they created. Almost all of my gods have at least one world. If they don't, they have something else they're tied to that you'd have to destroy. After you destroy whatever the thing is, you then have to kill all their forms. They have one per world they have power on, and possibly more.
Let's say you hypothetically accomplished all this. Even though you destroyed everything physical about the god, their soul will still return to Ellowyn to be reborn, so you need to find a way to stop it getting there.
It's much easier to kill a god if you're also a god though, particularly if you're a more powerful one. If you're a god you skip the soul step, and if you're a more powerful god you skip the world step too. It's also much easier if you know a god's real name. Ordinarily to injure a god you need a god made/blessed weapon. If you know a god's true name however, anything you use will be able to affect them, with exceptions depending on what you're using on which god. (For example, if you tried to use a flamethrower on the fire god he would laugh in your face)
You also need to make sure they don't have any powerful anomalies that might cause trouble. Anomalies are a whole thing, so I'm thinking they'll be a separate lore post.
Okay well I'm sure there's more I'm missing that I really should talk about but this much took me fucking forever and I can't think anymore, so if you have questions just ask me, I'll get to it later. Thanks again for waiting folks

2 - 11 The Guest Bedroom Burglar Beating
Tumblr media
I amuse myself
The more you look the worse it gets!
(Even as Mr. Shadow, Irratino is still goat lord)
This episode's got new characters, but I was too tired to draw yesterday </3
I'll have Maid Marble's design tomorrow probably, and Manservant Brownstone isn't different enough to warrant an official artwork I don't think? He's a taller Brownstone in a suit with emo hair and visible eyes, and both antlers intact. Meaning he's NOT the clone from the one episode where Brother Brownstone dies so this opens up a new can of worms
DON'T READ THE EPISODES WITHOUT READING THE BOOKS!!
Lady Violet is not doing well. As in, she won’t stop sobbing!
LOGICO: Hey… it will be alright. I promise.  VIOLET: [in hysterics] Yeah… you were the one who was begging for something to go wrong! LOGICO: I… um. VIOLET: Just go… go to your bedroom or something, here’s the key…
Logico sighs. Poor Violet. He’ll find a way to make it better. But he clambers to his bedroom.
Aaaaaaaaand it looks bigger than should be physically possible to be attached to this building, unsurprisingly. Gold-plated, fountain on the balcony, busts of Lord Violet staring at you while you sleep and pee, bathroom bigger than Logico’s entire apartment blah blah blah. He can barely get onto the bed because it’s so large (and he’s so small!). There’s a lot of blood, sweat, and tears. But he finally gets up there. He’s out of breath.
The cleaning service comes in and sweeps a tad, and a person who looks eerily like Brownstone (but not quite) hands him a drink. He tucks into the silky comforter. Ahh, softgico <3
A window breaks! A burglar has entered the room! Logico rolls off and under the bed, praying that they won’t notice him. He hyperventilates as he hears the footsteps coming closer…
There’s a scream, a crash, and a thud!... then silence. Scared for his life, Logico peeks out, but all he sees is the dead burglar. Someone has saved him! But no one else is there anymore… He smacks himself.
LOGICO: Logico you fool! Regardless of if someone has saved my life, this is a MURDER, and I have to deal with it like DEDUCTIVE LOGICO!
He goes out. He sees the maid (Marble), the butler Brownstone, and Bronze, the guy from the airport.
VIOLET: Again?
Logico nods. At least this time it was for a good cause. He first corners the maid, who’s giving real wolf-from-little-red-riding-hood vibes.
MARBLE: I’m sorry dearie… I tried my best to clean the room! LOGICO: No, not that! I want to know if you have blood on your claws. MARBLE: Oh heavens!
She drops her broom and cowers. Logico has to admit it’s a pretty good helpless routine. Bronze, meanwhile, is looking clueless as always, reading a fascinating book.
LOGICO: And what might that book be? BRONZE: Does it matter? LOGICO: Now it does. BRONZE: It is just a biography of Lord Violet. It is the only thing to read in this place… LOGICO: I want see! M. BROWNSTONE: [ahem] LOGICO: OH, what do you want, Brother Brownstone? You’re supposed to be dead. M. BROWNSTONE: Manservant. Manservant Brownstone. I work here and am a separate individual from my short younger brother.
Irratino is by himself. He draws a marot card, revealing a crucial clue. But Logico cannot see it. He sighs.
IRRATINO: Please… let me see him soon.
Logico has uncovered his culprit - Chauffeur Bronze! The beast recoils in fear of punishment. But everyone cheers!
LOGICO: Well… you did save my life. BRONZE: Aw… really? [blush] VIOLET: It’s official! We HAVE to have a party in your honor!
And they do. Bronze is so happy!
BRONZE: No one has ever appreciated me this much before! Thank you…
Logico kicks back at the party, a nice break from the chaos. He hears the guests talking.
VIOLET: That was just so amazing! I wish I could have seen it happen! MARBLE: Just as when Lord Violet avenged his beloved Beryl…
Logico tingles at these words. It seems like everyone knows the lore but him! But it’s not time to worry about that. He closes his eye and enjoys a free moment.
The end!
Tumblr media
i can hardly bear to see them separated!!!
Come back my squishy goat lord.
Tumblr media
The power of Goat Lord compels you!
See you next time murdlers!

that expansion sucked
salt and opinion incoming
i don't have a lot of thought because there was nothing to even think on about this flat expansion, but here are my thoughts - also quick apology because English is not my first langauge, plus this is my own personal opinion:
The Commander has no vital role in this. We were a mascot to the cause that we had no sentimental or important value in. Yes there are people who don't want the Commander to be the main focus, and that is a valid opinion, but we were very much just the audience to a running movie with no impacting opinion whatsoever.
A majority of the opinions I read here on Tumblr and reddit share the same view: The beginning and launch of SotO had strong foundations: A new mystery faction, a new cast of engaging cahracters of various, ancient races shrouded in mystery and an otherworldly threat. Except. Uncooked. Unseasoned, Underbaked. SotO moved on way too fast, with barely any time to get to know these people, reunion with Zojja (who, oof, gets completely forgotten despite her image being in the launcher), and of course, one of the interesting cast members gets killed.
Onto the Kryptis. ?????? They were reskinned orphans from Divinity's reach. Why were aliens from the Mist, dream demons, written like poor people who needed our help to ... get water and bandaid? Where is the worldbuilding? Where is the hostility and curiousity of demons meeting an entire different race walking into their homeland? Why is monarchy all the same in the demon realm? It is just a lazy and uncreative solution to introducing a new threat and race
Eparch, uh. What threat did he pose beside a fighting achievement under five minutes. Who was Labris again beside a fighting achievement too. Again. Major threats, major antagonists get a huge build up but once it is their time to shine in the spotlight. They get nothing but a reskinned model and five minutes of talking. As much as Labris' death had an impact on Eparch in his voice lines, there was not much ground for me to get invested in their connection.
Peitha is written incredibly flat. Her plans of ruling and usurping are as solid as soup. Yes she may throw out really cool lines, but in the whole fabric of planning a revolution, where is the consistency and foundation? The Wizards have to plan an assault and all the logistics, the other generals and Ramses doing the relocation of things, and Peitha is just. Saying things, while we protect her and do the job. She says she is caring for her people but where do we see that, beside her complementing her killing choices in 1-2 lines? Where do we see her passion for revolution, her hatred against the status quo? She quickly fell flat and cheaply written (beside her sexy baiting lines) once she got revealed. As much as the writing makes me dislike her, she deserved better.
the cannibal demons were not cannibalistic enough.
the wizards were not wizard enough.
In general, the story was nothing new, no exciting twists and the pacing is out of place (the months between those very short chapters did not help it either). it is a X formular marvel-esque movie.
from a gameplay perspective:
soto has nothing to offer.
theres the legendary armor (which i farmed for from the start), convergences, rifts - But for the casual player, who may never intend to farm for the Obsidian Armor, it brings nothing. The Rifts as fun as the gameplay may be, dont offer gold or good material (beside the essences). the Convergence has some good drops if you are lucky but again, only for essences. But hey, Skyscale fireball fun right?
What makes me frustrated is, SotO has potential, so much good foundation and build up. But such expectation of a whole new lore was never reached and the story rushed. May blame it on the new cash grabbing model. It is a bland mid expansion with too many boring moments and do X amount of events. Maps are great tho, missing Jumping puzzles though.
3/10 reused wyvern model

Helluva boss ended up dissapointing me
I was very hyped about HH when i saw the Pilot. After so long of watching anime, manga, and ending other cartoons i was really bored and… let's say sad. Things happens in the middle. Western animation, to me at least, was going real down. That was until HH. Despite it's flaws, i was really happy that a series that talked about demons from hell and had the animation it had was fresh air for ones. Then after watching HB i was actually pretty excited. It was decent enough. But after S1E2 seeing that the show wanted me to feel bad for Stolas after all the BULLSHIT he's done, and all the critics around the show, everything went south.
They tried so hard to be a dark comedy they ended up making uncomfortable, or annoying at worst, scenes that killed the characters rather than leveling them up. The show was 90% of sex jokes, bullying for no reason, shock value, lack of World Building, and drops of Lore. Lore that contradicted itself each episode. Bullying because the recurrent punch bag that was denigrated to a disgusting point was Moxxie, for no more reason other than "it's hell, get use to it". He was the nicest and for that he was the easiest target for everyone (at least on the writters eyes). This is a bullies world after all.
One of the scenes that describes this, and the sex jokes/shocks value part, is the "rape joke" about him getting SA by Verosika and her posse. Like… what was the point? Or did they do that to just fill an empty part and show that they can be the most edgy cartoon there is? This showed me they don't see SA in man as serious, but as something harmless like other media.
Sex positive show my ass!! Not only that but it destroys/nullifies the somewhat sympathetic Verosika's backstory. I DO NOT feel bad for this bitch. And the part about Blitzo praising Moxxie about how good he is at His job is not the same as, "i was an ass to you all along and im sorry". That's not what i see as progress in a relantionship.
This show is not and never was about Lore, characters, World Building, etc. This show is about jokes only. There is a reason why this didn't work and it's because Viv didn't plan this beforehand.
There was a lot of potencial for this but it was dismiss on a blink.
If anyone still loved the show then... i envy you. Really. My hopes and hype blind me to a somewhat no returning point that i WILL have to get out. So if this causes a dissonance with you... well, your free to make your opinion.

Long, ranty vent // TW: Child abuse, childhood trauma, shitty father, very child abuse, trauma dumping
Sorry if I make jokes or sound unserious during this! I use humor to cope. I don't really find the situation funny.
OKAY UHM. Okay so I just watched a playthrough of the game Bad Parenting and. Uhh. I need to talk about it.
I've yapped a little before about how my father abused me. Physically, mentally, emotionally, religiously. So um. The game Bad Parenting really resonated with me. And I want to yap about it a little bit.
Bad Parenting was very much similar to my childhood. My mother worked late (she had 3 jobs) to support our family, so I was often left at home with Jordan, my biological father. He was very abusive.
He'd get angry at every little thing, and I was often hit and screamed at for hours. That in itself is scarring. But just like Ron in Bad Parenting, I blocked out all of those memories and made up stories to distract myself.
Just like Ron, I believed Jordan was a good person. I wanted to see him. I blocked out all the bad memories.
Not only did I make up stories, but Jordan made up stories as well. Harmful, harmful stories.
This is where the religious trauma comes into play. He told me that I was chosen by god to be the savior of the world. He made me read the book of Revelations, and told me that that would happen in my lifetime and I would have to be the one to save the world. And if I told anyone, god would know and be very angry with me.
That was terrifying. I woke up every day in fear of the end of the world. I was trying to make plans on how I would save my family and friends. I felt weak and helpless- how was I supposed to save the world? I was only, what, 8? 9? Those fears eventually lessened, but didn't fully go away until I was 13 and managed to escape him.
He also told me he was a "seer." That he could see me and my thoughts at all times. That caused so much paranoia. I felt so scared all the time. I had to make sure that my thoughts were always perfect. Never any negative thoughts about him, or lies, or swear words, or questioning god, or anything. Because I feared that if he saw those thoughts, I'd be hurt.
My mother was always and has always been very caring. She worked a lot (3 JOBS!!!) but she was not neglectful. I want to make it a point that she is the best mom I could ever ask for. Felt like I needed to specify that, since the mother in Bad Parenting was neglectful and I'm drawing comparisons from that game to my childhood.
Obviously she has her flaws, we all do, but she has always made sure to check on me and take care of me and protect me. She has taken so many blows for me, and saved my life multiple times. I could never thank her enough.
Obviously there's so much I could talk about, but this vent is long enough as is. Maybe one of these days I'll yap more about it or show you guys my notes for court. I dunno. But thank you to anyone that actually read this.
If anyone's curious, Jordan now has a (practically a) cult on tiktok and does tarot card readings and continues his mystiacal manipulation, mainly preying on young (early 20's) girls. Should I name drop da (practically) cult? 🤔
Okay anyway uhhh sorry for the random lore drop out of the blue 👍👍 now y'all get to know (a little of) my tragic backstory

Note
from your recent post just was so curious and wanted to ask!
"around 2007, there was a major theory in the fandom that gerard and frank were running secret blogspot accounts where they'd post journals, poetry, etc. frank's account was iamthemodernprometheus.blogspot.com and gerard's supposed account was its-mayonaise.blogspot.com."
so the theory founded by fans in 2007 goes: frank and gerard each had a secret blog account.
this is the center of the argument and proceeding rabbit holes.
and i'm sure in fan spaces in 2007 they did create this theory whether with evidence or not.
but how did they come to the conclusion that those two blogspots belong to frank or gerard.
I wonder if these aliases were mentioned on official mcr emails? maybe listed as a forum moderator or smth?
like what caused the line that connects "iamthemodernprometheus and it's-mayonaise" to mcr at all to any degree. because mcr was not out there dropping usernames on their site news to my knowledge.
just wondering if you had any more on the origin ig. more than likely I bet you saw it on old fan forums.
seriously old lore and people believing this does go way back. I just wish I knew how at all these random two blog accounts are associated in any way with frank/gerard. and what those fans back in 2007 were going on
hii this is a great question but I don't exactly have a clear answer. I've done so much research but much has been lost so it's hard to put the pieces together.
the first mention (according to a couple of sources) of gerard as mayo is on the verita-venom blog on blogspot. some of the earliest posts go over this. <<< please be aware there is a lot of vitriol toward mcr on this blog, some of it is honestly sort of upsetting. it's made by an ex-mcr fan and the blog is a black hole in itself.
this source also mentions verita and backs up this idea
i really have no idea how she started to get the idea that gerard is mayo! it seems like she just started talking about it on her page one day. so much context is lost :(
before verita's blogspot, there is some evidence to show that someone (or a blog?) called "loveman" made a post that mayo's account began as a response to. this comment supports this, which you can find on one of mayo's posts:
Tumblr media
here's a link to comment section that discusses it on mayo's blogspot (its his first post)
as far as i can tell any account associated with "loveman" has been deleted, unless someone else can find it! that might have some valuable evidence
if you look at the earlier comments on mayo's posts you might see loveman discussed here and there, but with little context (I haven't looked at every single post though, so there is probably more out there)
and as for shitsubou-shita, i have no idea as the original blog was wiped, but I'm sure the comments there would've given some valuable perspective.
tldr; i can't find enough about this to say for sure but maybe I can do some additional research soon to revisit the post and put together the full "origin story" because I would love to have a better answer!

Alright, tried out the Trial Tower in Nobeta. I made it about five minutes in before going no thank you and ditching that mode entirely. I have zero interest in that whatsoever. So I guess final thoughts tonight! I'll be picking up a different game tomorrow, not sure which one yet.
Okay so my first post about the game already mentioned the Dark Souls comparisons to be made, given that the "souls-like" feel is what was apparently being aimed for. But you know, I think that's the wrong comparison, having finished the game. The real comparison is Bloodborne.
Through the hidden lore you get from item drops, what you learn of the world is that humans were, at one point, piddly weak losers that the other races bullied, until humans had a breakthrough and promptly genocided everyone else. While timeline is shaky, my interpretation is that this was possible almost exclusively through the use of these soul dolls, that are basically powered by the souls of the dead and damned. You know, the usual "kill the prisoners and inject their souls into this kill bot, what could go wrong?" A lot of this happens through the Church, who has outrageous political influence to the point of being able to decimate an otherwise well-respected kingdom with effectively no consequence. It's implied they're also the cause of a plague that people thought turned you into beasts, and are pretty pissed that witches are incidentally immune due to the incense used in their rituals negating the virus/drug. Nobeta in particular was a powerful witch they sealed away to, I assume, prevent interference.
All of that is...a lot more Bloodborne aligned in style than Dark Souls, if you ask me. Just slap in some alien shit and it's got all the toppings.
The specific variety Nobeta brings is that its protagonist talks, and there's a more clear driven story going on, at least as far as character events go. The pivot is that Nobeta as we see her at the outset is not Nobeta. The cat leading you is...well, we don't really know their name or exactly what their deal is, but they're trying to bring back the true Nobeta by bringing her body back to the throne that has her soul sealed up. The current host, Nonota, was crafted to run her body and fight for the church I think? Exact purpose wasn't completely clear, but somewhere along the way things didn't feel right and she sought answers, running into this need for the throne, and developing a sense of self despite being an unconscious amalgamation of soul residue. Your conclusion is that Nobeta revives Nonota in the body of the cat left behind, attaching the bow that the first boss asked Nonota to preserve, and that she effectively tried to grant continued existence to all the other soul dolls that gained consciousness through herself. It's an alright twist.
Now, I do understand there is set to be some story in the Trial Tower mode. Specifically, once you clear it, there's a scene. I do not know that scene, maybe it adds a lot of context. But personally, I feel like this game overall is trying to emulate the FromSoft storytelling style, but it doesn't quite land.
I think a big part of it is that there's a weird mix of "not enough background information" and "too many direct answers." Nobeta's ending and events have clear-cut answers, whereas a lot of things in Souls games have answers that are murky. Approximate understanding, but there are gaps you have to intuit. It doesn't have a hook for a deep dive in that way. But at the same time, the background information regarding the Church and what's going on with demihumans is...pretty lacking? Like okay, all the other races are dead now, so...why do we care that they existed? There's not really a situation where it feels like any talk of beasts and the experiments intermingle. Souls are just souls, there's no deeper meaning to them, in the way Bloodborne had blood ministration causing the beast transformations if you dig enough. The Church is just a shit organization, that did some sketchy stuff, and there's...not much else to dig into about the specifics. There's not really speculation to make about orcs or elves or anyone else either, because there's no enemy with consciousness whose dominant soul is clearly among those races to shed light on what was going on or hint at the causes of strife. It just comes away feeling less dynamic.
As for the gameplay aspect, this is where things diverge. This does not play like a Souls game. It plays like a shooter. Magic is core to everything you do; melee only matters under one restrictive condition. Your arcane attack is standard damage. Ice works like a gatling gun, with low damage but rapid fire attacks. Fire is several bursts of good damage at close range, so I think that's usually shotgun, but it also charges to function like a rocket launcher with an explosive attack, but you can attack with it and it's your melee that quadruples your damage. Then there's Thunder, which is your sniper rifle that deals obscene damage and tracks from here to Timbucktu. I'll be honest. Once I got Thunder, I did not turn off Thunder unless puzzles required other spells. Arcane can pierce shields, so that's really handy at times. Fire buffing physical is how you have to break a lot of the stones that create barriers. Ice when charged makes a shield that negates fire floors, which doesn't come up too often. But Thunder is just always good damage and range, and when charged puts you in the JoJo's Frozen Time for a bit and it's all super busted.
Upgrades are found in chests, and it's...not too hard to find most, but I definitely didn't find all of them. This isn't too big a problem, I don't think, except where Wind is concerned. I feel like missing Wind tomes is a recipe for being unable to progress. There's one (1) optional area that I found before I was supposed to, because I remembered an unbreakable stone that the Fire tutorial explained the solution to, so I doubled back, but it turns out there was an easier way there later on. It got me early access to Thunder though, so good trade.
Leveling is interesting, but also kinda bland. See, this is another souls-like thing, in that you spend your points on upgrading statistics you choose, but unlike the Souls games, there's no equipment, and thus no restrictions, so the stats you allocate to don't really matter as much? I put most into offenses, since Strength also influences mana recovery, but HP and MP were pretty easily managed through recovery so they weren't huge needs. Endurance also only came up one time during an attempt at what I thought was a jump puzzle, but was actually the boundary edge of the zone and almost got me killed, but I had enough to continuous air dodge back to safety. All this to say...the game's balance is really just looking for whether you leveled all your stats fairly evenly or not. Getting to level 25-30 in every stat is gonna be fine. Which does impact replayability. It's a short game, you know? When there's not much variety, how engaging is a second playthrough?
"That's what the Tower is for." Fuck the tower. Okay look, I have a vendetta against games that implement levels as a feature, then slap in a mode that says "you can't level up for this." What the fuck's the point then? It's even worse when you can tell the allocation of whatever levels you did get are shit garbage.
The tower itself is just a boss rush. Defeat eight bosses in sequence, Mega Man endgame style. The problem is they're massive HP sponges, you can't level up, you only get points to spend on stuff from very specific skills like casting in melee range or hitting the absurdly specific Absorption parry timing, and those points are used to upgrade or access spells since you only start with Lv 1 Arcane, Wind, and Absorption. These points also need to go to healing for HP and MP, because your regen rate is absolute garbage. This is the first any only time all game I truly ran out of MP and had no recourse. When the points are already that hard to farm, and spells are a dire need to deal anything close to reasonable damage, I have no investment in this mode. I could eventually do it, but there's no saving, and I am no longer in a privileged position of being able to just play a game for 5-7 hours straight for vanity's sake. I will not be participating in this one.
All in all, it's a fairly cute game that I would recommend, if it weren't for its rarity and price tag. This game is fucking $50 on the Switch e-shop. That is like $30 too many for such a short experience, with the kind of challenge mode it has thrown in. I can't even say it's anything visually impressive. It sort of hits a disqualification on price tag alone, which is kinda sad, but I hear it's like half as much on Steam, so those playing on PC are free to get it. It's worth it for $25. But not for $50.

Ro’Meave sister OCs??? Can you tell us more about them? So intrigued
EDIT: Oh my god I put this in drafts forever ago cause I was going to draw pictures of them and then completely forgot. I'm so sorry it took so long.
Bro tysm for his ask I've been wanting an excuse to talk about them for forever (warning: this is a long one).
OK SO their names are February and Edelse. It'll be easier for me to cover them separately so I'll start with Feb. I'll start off by saying there's still a lot I'm reconsidering/changing about her, so if this is incomprehensible I am so sorry.
February is the older of the two, and half-siblings with Garroth and Zane and full siblings with Vylad. February several years younger than Vylad, and at the time of the end of season 1 she was 9-12 years old. Even as a toddler, she idolized all three of her older brothers, and while Zane didn't really give her the time of day, she, Garroth, and Vylad were thick as thieves and they would often sneak her out of the castle for classic teenage rebellion shenanigans (mostly just so she could have a few normal experiences before the weight of all the politics dropped on her) and for a while life was sweet. Then Vylad died, and Garroth left for Phoenix Drop without her. The latter of which hit her especially hard, as she often wondered about why he didn't take her with him. In the period of time between those events and season 1, she tried to get Zane to like her more, but that went about as well as you'd expect. However, after she told him about how she had overheard a priest that was secretly expressing disloyalty toward him, Zane began a sort of transactional relationship of what basically amounted to her snitching on anyone who was spouting disloyalty or threatening Ro'Meave reign and him feeding into her need for approval. He took note of her loyalty and even began her training as a possible Jury of Nine member later down the line.
Then he disappeared with the battle of Phoenix Drop, cue more abandonment issues.
She had mostly been trained by Janus and Lillian, and Janus did stick around for a few years afterwards to keep training her until they thought she was good enough and dipped too.
She spent the next few years honing her skills and continued Garroth and Vylad's legacy of sneaking out to ingratiate herself to the common people of O'Khasis. I'll skip a lot of boring stuff including making shady deals with the thieves guild, that one time she killed her fiancé in an arranged marriage, and roping Laurance and Travis into a wacky side quest during Aph's thief arc in s2), the important stuff happens when O'Khasis is invaded. She was in Narhaka when it happened and luckily avoided capture, and when she snuck back in she immediately started raising a rebellion movement with Edelse, who was able to get smuggled out of the castle before shit went sideways.
She ends up asking for weapons from the thieves guild, which they agreed to, however it began to take longer than expected. Then they announced Zianna was gonna be executed and she goes to the Boss demanding weapons and the boss is like "yo are those two guys Ro'meaves" and she turns around and she sees her brothers for the first time in over 15 years. Cue emotional reunion.
Anyways stuff happens she goes with them to Hyria's, finds out the random lord Zane wanted to marry was God (probably the weirdest Tuesday of her life) and goes back to help the rebellion drive the remaining Tuu'la forces out of O'Khasis.
Afterwards, I can't say for possible spoiler. But what likely would have happened would've been her and Garroth having some conflict and resolution about his initial flee from O'Khasis and trying to heal from the abandonment she's experienced over her life.
Now, Edelse; I don't have nearly as much for her in terms of lore because she was a later edition, but I'll do what I can. Edelse's parentage is... ambiguous, in terms of whether Garte's her actual father (partly because I haven't decided). She's definitely treated as a fullblooded Ro'Meave, and Garte would (seemingly) rather it be her than February that takes over lordship. She was born about three or four years after the Battle of Phoenix Drop, meaning she never knew any of her brothers personally. In terms of personality, imagine a mixture of Vylad's total deadpan and Zane's superiority complex (though she's significantly less murdery about it). She was shown to be incredibly intelligent from a young age and has an almost encyclopedic knowledge of military history, strategy, weaponry, and armory (especially those last two, designing weapons/armor is her favorite past time). She usually isn't outwardly hostile with people, however if someone, purposefully or accidentally, questions or insults her intelligence/knowledge she will completely trash their self confidence and read it like it is a pure fact. Also by season 3 she is like. barely fifteen. (Side note: Now that I think about it, if you want a basis to compare her to- think Fives from the umbrella academy. Like a 60 year old in a tweenager's body. That describes her pretty well).
Anyways, she and February can work together when they need to, but they really don't get along that well unless their teaming up against someone (be it small or large scale). Feb tries to beat her up at least twice a month and Edelse has tried to snipe her with a bow and arrow on occasion. Just normal Ro'Meave things.

the bingo card returns! this time filled out.
A fully x-ed out square means I consider it correct in it's entirety, single line means I think it was right in some way.
The single question mark is because I'm refusing to call it until season 2 based on certain information.
Explicit spoilers under the cut as I discuss some of these.
Entirely Correct Squares:
Someone Else Dies (Hotel) - self explanatory. Someone other than Angel Dust died in the hotel cast (o7 general pentious can't wait to see you cause chaos in heaven)
Side Character Dies - why did lute have to kill dazzle qwq
Adam Dies - GET WRECKED IDIOT (unironically i enjoy him as a character but there is nothing more satisfying to me than watching a jackass die in a particularly embarrassing way; getting stabbed in the back by someone who "weighs 10 pounds soaking wet" while ranting about how sinners should be grateful to you because all of humanity came from your nuts definitely counts)
Lilith Reveal - y'all hear smth? more sincerely, i was leaning in this direction - specifically that Eve and Lilith switched places at some point, but y'know what. I'll take Lilith being in heaven.
Alastor and Charlie Make A Deal - This scene gets me thinking about Alastor's own deal, and I *will* be talking about it for ages. Can't wait to post my longshot theory about who the deal is with. But, yeah, might not be for her soul, but a deal was struck nonetheless.
Lucifer Goes Apeshit - self explanatory again. We saw demon form.
Ends on a Cliffhanger - I have so many questions, and theories, and new headcanons that I'm excited to share with y'all.
Partially Correct Squares:
Charlie Kills Someone - Charlie kills a bunch of exorcists, but no named characters, so I do not consider this to be correct in the way I meant it. This will reappear on my season 2 predictions card(s).
Seven Years Lore - We know where Lilith has been for her seven years; Alastor is still an unknown quantity. Further, Lilith still has a lot of mystery surrounding why she is where she is.
Confirmation Alastor Cares (explicitly!!!) - I definitely think we see Alastor caring a lot about the hotel crew (and Charlie in particular), but it wasn't explicit enough for me to consider the square fully met. Him handing Charlie his staff not once but twice, especially since it seems he relies on it for his powers has me in a chokehold.
That One Square:
Adam is Exiled To Hell - I'm not calling this one until season two drops, just because we saw Sir Pentious arrive in Heaven after his death, so I don't think it's out of the realm of possibility this holds true. However, there isn't enough to go on for me to feel comfy declaring one way or the other.

I just read the most recent chapter... PERFECTION. I'll talk more about it when I leave a comment, but it was so worth the wait. I'm so interested in the lore of this story, it's definetly transcended both source materials and become its own unique thing! I have so many questions, but I just want to ask the ones that probably won't be revealed from the story itself to try and prevent me from bombarding you with them all😭
For now I'm gonna guess that Kaede knows Peko from a camp visit or something! I think it was also alluded that she/Tenko knows Chihiro/Chiaki as well. What's it like when the other Gods visit (or when the triplets visit)?
Also, I'm not sure how to phrase this, but how were the demigods born to established couples like Naegami/Sakuraoi? [Bc like, gay supremacy, obvi, but like, idk how😭] And also also, why did all the gods decide to reproduce like rabbits all at once 😭 I know that in Greek mythology they were all just freakin but like I'm wondering what caused it in pointy objects, did the y2k craze also get to them
(I wanna save most of it for my comment on ao3, but I really liked how we got an update on so many outside characters, as well as new characters! What happened right after everyone at the camp realized they were gone? I feel so bad for the other half of the kids💔)
hello hello!!! i very eagerly await your comment, but that's for later — for now, there's a few other things!
first: your interest and passion for my writing is so incredibly appreciated and enjoyed and inspiring and just !!! it means more than you know, and since *im* crazy insane about this fic too, i am more than happy to answer questions because my god the brain worms are so bad and they've been there for YEARS.
second: the answers to your current questions! for anyone who may not want to see (for spoiler or length reasons) the rest shall be under the cut <3
i love offering little insights on things that i just don't physically have space to put into the main fic, so that's where i'll start with your first question! godly parent-birth child interaction is a big no-no under junko, so the gods have had to get creative in how they make contact with their children. in the case of peko, kaede is familiar with her because tenko lives with her (with their relation being aunt-niece) except during the summers. as an aside, tenko and himiko also attend the same boarding school during the year, and so when it's summertime, it's often been peko that's dropped the both of them off at camp. however, kaede is also privy to maki's family situation in a way that no one else at camp really is, so she's aware of fuyuhiko being maki's 'godfather' and that he and peko are very close, and work together.
in mentioning chiaki and chihiro as examples, there's a few reasons for the other campers to be aware of them enough to like them. lots of phone conversations, first off — junko can do a lot of things, but monitoring every possible means of communication for every demigod is unfeasible — and boring (at least when not considering certain gods she has specific vendettas against). chiaki and chihiro are all around "better" parents than some of the others, and that naturally lends itself to them coming by camp on very rare occasions to visit their children. other gods also will (very occasionally) visit to speak with hajime and nagito, but the barrier and its ability to keep them from interfering is most of the time enough that they'd rather call a meeting. so, tldr: gods come around camp sometimes, but in very limited circumstances. it's mostly phone conversations, texts, and facetimes that are used between the demigods and their parents (though not everyone has that privilege. i'll leave it at that <3)
and VERY good questions, about the logistics of all these damn kids LOL. there are a lot of reasons for this, so i'll use a few specific examples to expand upon.
makoto and byakuya are first-time parents with rantarou. in godly terms, they've been together for a long time (though not nearly as long as others like hajime/nagito or sakura/aoi, whose relationships are actually ancient). however, for various reasons — hesitance on byakuya's end that he may be a poor father, hesitance on makoto's end to not only have a child as a Big Five god, but also to have a mortal child that he will outlive — they put off having children until relatively recently. sometimes it's as simple as they're just waiting for the right time, and that's what they did. in rantarou's case, he is byakuya's biological child, and his conception was the result of a very rigorous process of finding a surrogate both byakuya and makoto were comfortable with. and it worked out; they were given the child of their dreams, the center of their whole universe, and the very well taken care of surrogate is paid for all of the work she does and more, and she retires richer than god.
aoi (as angie's godly parent) had her in a very similar way — sperm donor, from someone she trusts on her home island where she lives with sakura and a few hundred mortal islanders that know of their status as goddesses and worship them accordingly.
and finally the VERY good question of Why The Fuck Are There So Many Demigods. there's a few reasons for this! a lot of the kids we see are the first children that a god has had — this is true in the case of gundham's child, rantarou, tenko, and a few others that will become important to the fic itself later. there were also several couples between the gods that developed relatively 'recently', which plays a role as well. others, who have had children before, grieve the ones they've lost and decide if/when to have another child in very different ways. this is a non-exhaustive list, but sonia, chihiro, leon, komaru, aoi, hiyoko, mahiru, and nekomaru are all examples of gods who have had children more than once. some — like sonia, chihiro, and aoi — make the choice to have more children despite the issues that arise regarding their immortality. and in the case of those three, all of them just happened to feel ready enough to have kids again at the same time a few spring chicken couples were popping out their firsts, and a few others were making questionable parenting decisions, and some had kids...without knowing they did.
BOY this sure got fun! but it was so fun to write. if this hasnt made it clear, i'm more than happy to talk about this fic for literally ever and ever — so long as i'm ducking around spoiler territory. your last question, about what happens immediately following the gang being discovered as missing, will come up to at least some degree in pointy objects. however, for years i've maintained a list of possible one-shot ideas that don't fit within the main pointy objects narrative, and that has been on there for ages. so if it's not expanded upon enough in-verse for my liking, i'll definitely either write something supplementary (WAY in the future tho LOL) on ao3 or lore drop here. we're a ways off from that, though!
but thank you again, and i hope you enjoyed this little offering! i certainly did <3

Some ships to drop
Hysteria x Cindy
Cindy x Seviathan
Cindy x Frederick 👀
Cindy x Velvette (I remember we talked about it once
Cindy x Leviathan
Cindy x Cupid
Cindy x Pitch
Annnnd
Hysteria x Cindy x Seviathan (in which Hysteria and Seviathan constantly fight over the brain cell)
Ship bingo
Hysteria x Cindy
Tumblr media
Look it's a bingo!!! Pastel goth & goth punk solidarity! Well, they have a lot in common despite the incredibly different power scale they operate on. Cindy is definitely...not right in the head either but at least she can recognize and enforce the importance of consent & look after Hysteria. It's a really adorable friends with benefits situation between two young women who enjoy their sexuality and don't know nor care when to shut up.
Cindy x Seviathan
Tumblr media
You know how long I wanted to do a love story involving reincarnation and not in the traditional way?? They are adorable, can see them as the jock-cheerleader trope a tiny bit as she is bloody athletic. Her traumas, personality feel like they balance his chaotic dumbass out a little while also enabling him. A fun dynamic between literal cosmic horrors and I'm here for it
Cindy x Frederick
Tumblr media
I think we both know what she will do if she breaks up with Seviathan, plus burning down most of his belongings- Getting with his dad is definitely not sane or safe but at least consensual and something she would definitely do. She's aware Frederick is married buuut...yeah. It definitely would be a one time thing, I don't think she would be interested after she got what she wanted: revenge and tentacle dicks.
Cindy x Velvette
Tumblr media
I mean...it would be fun buuut Cindy is not Rozy. I feel like Velvet could potentially bring up even accidentally too much of her traumas and Cindy won't hang out with a rapist pimp without ending his life. She also chooses to not drink or do drugs in order to protect her voice; the customizing employees would freak her the fuck out. Also if she's stabbed for the fun of it, she will stab back.
Cindy x Leviathan
Tumblr media
Cindy carries a surprising amount of envy. She has suffered so much and she doesn't feel she 'got her reward for it' . Many would say cosmic level power IS a reward but sometimes it feels more of a burden. To know, to hear, to experience so much as a bystander. I think Leviathan could very much play with her anger laced envy, for a while. Until Cindy learns he has been holding her distant relative captive. Until he learns that she's a fucking Véghváry.
Cindy x Cupid
Tumblr media
Cindy doesn't understand why the sweet angel of love doesn't hate her. It is extremely wholesome, touching that Cupid is trying to show her how love should work, you know without the murder part. I feel like it probably will be platonic, they are adorable, Cindy needs some kindness in her life...and idk if Cupid needs her chaos in hers though😂
Cindy x Pitch.
Tumblr media
Based mainly on @spxcemuses Pitch, but if you want to throw yours I'm ( ͡ʘ ͜ʖ ͡ʘ)( ͡ʘ ͜ʖ ͡ʘ)( ͡ʘ ͜ʖ ͡ʘ)( ͡ʘ ͜ʖ ͡ʘ)( ͡ʘ ͜ʖ ͡ʘ) Okay. Hooooly fuck. The first ever ship I've written on Tumblr and I'm not over it the slightest. The enemies to lovers, the struggle whenever exploit her fears to tear down the strongest opposing force; the pain whenever to rip the fearlings out of him for him to be free at last. Technically, he is too a cosmic horror & with my original lore about the creator of fearlings Serin'th adds an extra layer of spice. They...gone through so much, there are many layers, threads, jokes tying them together and honestly it's in my top 10 ships ever written.
Hysteria x Cindy x Seviathan
Tumblr media
Fun, chaotic and after a while Cindy would probably lose her patience.😂 I do like the concept and the shenanigans it would cause, the pranks, the 'alliances'; I think they would have a great time. But...she needs something more serious in the long term. Someone who is strong enough emotionally for her because she is not.

Oh I will never pass up the opportunity to talk about my shitty little bastard godwoken!
I decided to make her in bg3 bc sadly dos2's character creator just really can't compare but Yeah this is Vakora
Tumblr media
Vakora is a half demon necro/pyromancer lich born into and raised by the Black Ring who frankly thinks that losing your meat when you become undead is a skill issue. Naturally, she's got the scholar, mystic, undead, and villain tags lol, with civil skill in lore master, and her talents are demon (unsurprisingly lol) torturer, savage sortilege, and glass cannon.
Because she's a lich, she's very delicate and fragile physically, and she absolutely has to be careful because uhhh AS AN UNDEAD LICH only source fueled healing magic will work on her, but considering she's got like 20 points in pyromancy, its not like she usually has a problem with enemies being able to get close enough to land a hit on her.
Also she's a lich on purpose, she learned how to turn people into liches from Tarquin specifically, and removed her soul herself and hid the soul jar in a safe location prior to the Black Ring getting death fogged, so even though she was right in the middle of the blast zone, she was able to walk out of it no big deal thanks to already being undead.
Of course, now most of the Black Ring were dead, and she really didn't have much interest in this supposed new God that most of the survivors were now pledging their allegiance to instead of Chaos. It wasn't necessarily that she was loyal to Chaos specifically, as it wasn't like she CHOSE to join the Black Ring, but she did think it was pretty pitiful for everyone to just up and switch allegiances at the drop of a hat, so she was basically like hm ok yeah, call me when you manage to find your pride and spine again. Before running off on her own to cause problems for the Divine Order by herself. She actually ended up on the ship to Fort Joy specifically because she wanted to go wreak havoc there on the magisters because so many of them all in one place? She's sighing dreamily imagining how much destruction a meteor shower spell would do.
But also because she's very interested in Braccus' research and absolutely wants to go poke her nose into all his old little hideaways. And no she doesn't help ANY of his victims bc she's an evil little asshole and thinks that most of his punishments were hilarious. She may or may not try to roast marshmallows over one of the burning pigs.
Understandably, Vakora isn't exactly popular with most of the other godwoken lmao, although they don't actually know any of the juicy details about her past in the black ring until they get to the nameless isle and the party is like uhhhhh why do all these black ring people know you by name??? For the majority of the game, all the party really knows about her is that she's an equally dangerous and deranged wizard, she's a lich, she has a really fucked up sense of humor, and she's not going to bother helping people if there's not IMMEDIATELY something in it for her. She doesn't actively go out of her way to hurt anyone (outside of the divine order) but she's not the first to suggest helping someone in need and the others will usually have to coerce her into it.
That said, she does get along with Sebille and Lohse very well from the start. Sebille because she can absolutely appreciate a woman who doesn't hesitate to try and kill her ass on the spot, and Lohse because she can absolutely relate to the whole everything and its grandmother constantly trying to possess you thing. Also, as a half demon herself, she has a lot of knowledge and insight on what Lohse is dealing with SPECIFICALLY, and basically the moment she meets her she's like "uh yeah that's a demon you're dealing with. Seems pretty powerful too. Honestly, i don't know how you're even still remotely in control of yourself right now." But although she does actually KNOW Adrahmalik from when they were both with the Ring, (although certainly not by NAME) she doesn't actually realize its him specifically that's possessing Lohse until they get to Blood Moon Isle. She also got along pretty well with Ifan at first, up until the point that he learned she was black ring, and then things uhhh went pretty sour between them. Sadly, in her main verse, things uhhh just really did not end up well between Vakora and those three at all.
Sebille didn't end up trusting her enough to share her slave song with her, so when they confronted the Shadow Prince, Sebille permanently became his thrall again, and so Vakora killed her bc she considered that the only mercy she could give her.
Lohse insisted on trying to ascend to divinity at the academy, and Vakora, having absolutely NO skill in persuasion, wasn't able to talk her down from it and it lead to Vakora killing her, because she agreed with Jahan about not allowing Lohse to ascend.
and Ifan wasn't willing to risk another divine rising who might be anything like Lucian, and he sure as hell wouldn't let a BLACK RING LICH ascend to Divinity, so yeah, that ended in a fight too.
As for other people, despite her tendency to be rather bitchy and belligerent, she actually was mostly cordial with people as long as they weren't associated with the Divine Order?
She got along well with Malady, though they hadn't known each other before the Seekers captured the Lady Vengeance, they knew OF each other. Demons like to talk and brag about their half demon spawn to each other apparently. They're both extraordinarily bitchy and snarky towards each other but its all in good fun, though most people around them usually can't tell they're NOT actually about to kill each other.
Garreth she couldn't fucking STAND and frankly the only reason she didn't just incinerate him the moment he started preaching about Lucian's platitudes is because she already knew that the seekers were now enemies of the magisters, and she wanted to see what was going on there before making any rash decisions. Surprisingly, she actualy doesn't kill him until the very end of the game where hes been turned into Lucian's silent monk
Now TARQUIN on the other hand, she gets along with GREAT considering he was one of her teachers in the Black Ring, and it was him leaving the Ring first that made her realize "oh wait i can just do that??" And then when they reunite on the lady vengeance its definitely a sweating nervously/spiderman pointing at each other meme moment where they both immediately recognize each other and pretend that they dont lmao. Of course, knowing EXACTLY what his specialty is, Vakora immediately realizes that Dallis almost definitely captured him to resurrect someone, but she just doesn't know WHO. and of course, no amount of her trying to pester him for the answer (in private of course, seh's not gonna air their dirty laundry in front of the party) will convince him to actually tell her who the fuck he rezzed for the magisters. She does still help him with Anathema though, and considering she ALSO already knows what anathema is, he's much more forthcoming about what she's even LOOKING for in the first place. Honestly, 10/10 student teacher relationship
and then there's JAHAN. LOL. Vakora certainly isn't scared of Jahan, but she is definitely wary of him. Though she is perfectly polite and cordial towards him when the party goes to find him to help with Lohse's little problem. The fact that he's immortal and she can't kill him if necessary annoys her, but at the same time, as a master of necromancy, Jahan immediately realizes that she's ALSO immortal as a lich and thus he can't kill her either, and so they kinda just both silently decide to try talking things out first since actually FIGHTING is pretty much pointless. After the inital uncertainty, they do end up getting along pretty well though! Jahan realizes that some of the rumors of her violence and malice are a bit exaggerated as its mostly just the divine order she's fucking up, and for the most part, she's just kinda bitchy and grumpy towards everyone else. Although he is genuinely surprised that she does earnestly want to help Lohse with her possession problem.
and speaking of Lohse's possession problem, that brings us to Adrahmalik lol. Adrahmalik was more than happy to pretty much overlook Vakora's existence, mostly because uhhhh he had a very strong vested interest in not pissing off her father who is ALSO fucking archdemon who was quite infamous for utterly DESTROYING other demons who tried to possess her (which frankly happened a lot during her childhood until word spread around that it was a very bad idea to even try) otherwise, Vakora would've been his first choice for a new godwoken host in an attempt to ascend to divinity, but he ended up settling for Lohse instead. anddddd then Vakora killed Lohse. and he was very unhappy about that. So when Vakora did end up making it to Arx in the final act, he absolutely did try to possess her bc he was pissed she deprived him of Lohse. Unfortunately for him, she did anticipate him trying to pull that so she did come prepared and she just killed him instead. Up until the point that she killed lohse though, all of his servants like the Advocate and all the other's and Blood Moon were perfectly polite and pleasant to her, showing her about the same kind of respect as they did Lohse.
Funnily enough, she actually DOESN'T reallyyyy have any strong feelings towards Dallis? But by that i mean that Dallis just isn't really unique to her. She doesn't really stand out much from the rest of Lucian's stupid little lapdogs even if she is a higher rank than most of them. As far as Vakora is concerned, she's Divine Order and so she's gonna kill her. It's really as simple as that. She does find it particularly annoying how much difficulty she seems to be having in killing this one particular member of the Divine Order but frankly as long as it ends in death, she doesn't care. After all, time is no matter when one cannot die. She has all eternity to kill her. And honestly, she really didn't care much about Dallis' dramatic reveal right before the final boss fight either. It really didn't change anything to her. As far as she was concerned, she was still a divine order lackey who needed to die.
Now as for Lucian? There is only one thing that goes through her mind when she hears his name. KILL KILL KILL KILL KILL. Considering she's been indoctrinated to despise him from the moment she was born, not too surprising there. Frankly, she was actually absolutely DELIGHTED to learn he wasn't actually dead at the final boss fight because it meant she had the opportunity to kill him herself. Like tbh she straight up did not really talk to him at all? Like, Lucian really only got as far as telling dallis to take the mask off before Vakora was like YAWN BORING NOT INTERESTED IN WHAT YOU HAVE TO SAY and decided to chat with Braccus instead lmao. so really, she didn't actually hear anything about the tear in the source veil or all that because Lucian didn't get that far lol
Now Braccus on the other hand??? For the vast majority of the game of course, she has no idea that he's Vredeman, but she's spent her entire life studying him. Learning his techniques. Hunting down his research. What little of it was actually recorded and survived to these times. She thinks he was absolutely fascinating and utterly brilliant. And also funny as fuck. An absolute fucking ASSHOLE but still funny! Like, flaming pigs? Seriously? Hilarious. So she actually had a grand time sticking her nose into every little nook and cranny at fort joy and learning everything that she could about him. But funnily enough, she didn't actually think twice about "Vredeman" the few times she encountered him, mainly because her attention was immediately on trying to kill Dallis during those encounters. At least until she found Dallis' journal in arx talking about how she was keeping Braccus as a glorified pet. And then she actually had the opportunity to TALK to him before the final fight, and at first she was both disappointed and confused by the notion that THE Braccus Rex could possibly be enslaved by someone like Dallis, at least until Dallis brings out the leashing wand and Vakora realizes that he's actually not under her control AT ALL and is only pretending to be affected by it. So Vakora and Braccus end up chatting for a few minutes about divinity and she's basically like "well to be perfectly honest, i don't actually have any interest in becoming a god. I'm really just here to kill Dallis, truth be told. And Lucian, now that i Know that he's alive and well too." And Braccus just slowly raises an eyebrow like "Oh really? Interesting." and they kinda just look at each other before simultaneously turning to look at Lucian and Dallis who only have about three seconds to process what the FUCK is going on before the final boss fight starts lmao. With Vakora and Braccus against them and their minions.
So yeah, while the worst possible ending is the godking and eternals coming back from the void and enslaving everyone, another "bad for pretty much everyone" ending is "the godking and the eternals do not in fact make it back from the void but that's because BRACCUS is the new Divine and nothing is worth dealing with that." After the final boss fight, Vakora fucks off on her own for a while before eventually coming back to Fort Joy (which Braccus is unsurprisingly having rebuilt) to hang around and be the classic "my liege you should incinerate that guy for fun" person that every batshit insane god/king/emperor needs
DOS2 fandom, show me your Godwoken? Tell me about your Godwoken? (For example:) Who are they? What is their damage? What do they look like? Are there any differences between their in-game model and how you imagine them? What is their fighting style? Who do they love and why? Anything else you'd like to share about them?
Everyone who sees this post, consider yourself invited. And feel free to tag your friends if you'd like.
@flower-khajiit, @divinityiswasted
Just do it. This is a threat.
EDIT: Also, there's no time limit on this thing. I don't care if you find it years later. Always happy to see some blorbos - show me.

Server maintenance is happening, my thoughts before 4.2 drops (and organizing my thoughts re genshin lore in general)
So the thing I really want to see is the combination of a dragon sovereign's and an archon's power. We've seen that Neuvillette can't permanently hold back the Primordial Sea, and so far it's unclear if Furina's plan is going to be enough. I've seen people posting about wanting Neuvillette to get the gnosis, but I want them to work together so bad I believe in my girl. If the OG sovereign's power was split 50/50, then they both need the other.
I believe that the game's told us that Nahida is the youngest archon, but most of the archons died or fell in some way during the cataclysm. In summary:
Zhongli and Venti, OG archons, are still alive and kicking
Ei has been around since the archon war, but became archon 500 years ago when Makoto died
Nahida is the reincarnation of rukkhedavatta
Egeria died 500 years ago, Furina would've become archon. Furina is probably older than 500 y/o since Nahida's the youngest
Murata: not enough info, but not the OG pyro archon
The Tsaritsa isn't the OG cryo archon, but she's definitely older than 500 y/o (Venti has said that he used to know her well before the cataclysm)
It's a popular theory, but I also think the hydro gnosis is in the Oratrice and Furina put it in their as part of whatever her plan is, but the act of doing it caused her to lose a lot of memories. We've seen it happen before with Nahida's story quest, where using too much of her power caused her to lose her memories. Whenever Furina talks about the "wisdom of the gods" (I don't remember it exactly, but she's been repeating it which makes me think its important), to me it sounds like she's trying to believe in what her past self did. Without her gnosis, she's mortal, and wants to believe that what the "god" version of herself did was right and going to work.
I think it happened 400-450 years ago based on the various Narzissenkruez quests. There are books that talk about the new form of energy & machines, the Opera house, and the new Iudex (Neuvillette) that are from ~400 years ago in game. The Oratrice would have been made around this time (and Furina splitting the gnosis from herself).
I don't know how yet it relates to the prophecy, but the game has made it clear that cycles/samsara is important. Furina's teaser trailer makes it seem like the prophecy has already come to pass. As a stretch, it's possible Furina's been using the energy generated by the Oratrice to reverse the effects or reverse time until some more permanent solution is found. (The demo goes the idea of "pre scripted" and being able to change fate or not. Plays can be put on multiple times, with the same ending).
Another possibility is that Furina's consciousness has been split in two: one part is in the Oratrice and the other is the one we've seen. It could be that the Oratrice part of her is currently alone in there. It would follow with the dualities we keep seeing with her (pneuma & ousia, two outfits, how one of her eyes is different from the other)
And of course the major loose thread is whatever's up with Childe and the Narwhal, which have to be related to the Abyss. My guess is that the Narwhal is what's been causing the rising sea levels and is somehow the key to the prophecy, given that it's the new trounce domain boss, if I remember right.
We haven't seen a Nail yet in Fontaine, so I suspect one of the new areas will eventually have it. There's been one in every nation so far, and there's nothing to suggest the pattern breaks (unless we get to see the Nail come down or it's added as the expansion to Fontaine after we're introduced to Natlan)
