F/O/selfship list
I'm cool sharing so don't worry about that
I apologize I know this list is going to be long, I just like a lot of characters in a less than normal manner.
I actually adore hearing from and seeing people who share F/Os with me so please, feel free to gush or ramble or whatever!
This is for organization, and may get updated occasionally because I cannot enjoy media normally it seems.
Also this should go without saying but I can't control the characters I like, so please don't start drama about the fictional murderers, thank you.
Can't get you out of my head
The main ones I think about far too often
Sans and Papyrus (Any Undertale AU it seems, if i put every au sans I like on here it would be far too long lol)

Near and Dear to my heart
I may not daydream of them as often, but I still adore them deeply

REVIEWING THE CHARTS: 09/12/2023 (Christmas Garbage, Taylor Swift)
Content warning: It’s beginning to look a lot like…
Merry Christmas! It’s not like it’s barely December or anything. “Last Christmas” by Wham! is #1, again, and in fact most of the top five is Christmas. Mariah’s at #2, and “Fairytale of New York”, undoubtedly boosted by the tragic passing of the Pogues’ lead singer Shane MacGowan, is at #4. Otherwise, Jack Harlow’s at #3 with “Lovin’ on Me” and Noah Kahan of all people is at #5 with “Stick Season”. Yeah, it’s holiday season, the structure’s out the window, it’s REVIEWING THE CHARTS.
Rundown
In fact, it’s the holidays, let’s get that stuff out of the way first. Entering the UK Top 75 - which is what I cover - for the first week this year, we have some absolute classics, some of my personal favourites, like “What Christmas Means to Me” by Stevie Wonder at #75, “2000 Miles” by the Pretenders at #70, “Stop the Cavalry” by Jona Lewie at #68 and “Christmas Lights” by Coldplay at #50. These are some of the earliest highest positions these songs have ever had, and I am so thankful for that because these are, in my opinion, the best ones. Oh, and there’s also… the rest, with “Blue Christmas” by Elvis Presley at #73, “White Christmas” by Bing Crosby at #67, “A Holly Jolly Christmas” by Burl Ives at #61, “Santa Claus is Coming to Town” by The Jackson 5 at #52 (for some reason, the Official Charts Company credits MJ here separately as well), “Let it Snow, Let it Snow!” by Frank Sinatra at #45 (OCC adds an extra “Let it Snow” here for some reason), “The Christmas Song (A Merry Christmas to You)” by Nat King Cole at #43 and “Christmas (Baby Please Come Home)” by Darlene Love at #42. In the top 40, we don’t see any returns but it is chock-full of holiday tunes, some of which re-peaked or reached a new peak. Those are Jorja Smith’s cover of “Stay Another Day” at #26 and Sam Ryder’s “You’re Christmas to Me” at #12 of course thanks to Amazon, but this is also the highest “Santa, Can’t You Hear Me” by Kelly Clarkson and Ariana Grande has been at #23, with Ari also hitching a re-peak for “Santa Tell Me” at #11. Michael Bublé’s butchered “Holly Jolly Christmas” is at #21 for the first time and Dean Martin’s “Let it Snow” (this time, correctly said three times) peaks at #17. Like I said last week, this is a strong Christmas year and we may see even more of these for older tracks.
Given we obviously don’t have any non-Christmas gains, let’s take a look at what dropped out this week to make room, or at least the notable ones which, you should know the jist of by now. We bid a temporary farewell to “Selecta” by Chase & Status featuring Stefflon Don, “Won’t Forget You” by Jax Jones, D.O.D and Ina Wroldsen featuring The Blackout Crew, “Now that We Don’t Talk” (Taylor’s Version) (From the Vault) by Taylor Swift, “ten” by Fred again.. and Jozzy, “One of Your Girls” by Troye Sivan, “IDGAF” by Drake featuring Yeat, “Me & U” by Tems, “Would You (go to bed with me?)” by Campbell and Alcemist, assisted by a remix with Caity Baser, “Black Friday” by Tom Odell, “Disconnect” by Chase & Status and Becky Hill, “Dance the Night” by Dua Lipa from Barbie, “Teenage Dirtbag” by Wheatus from… the year 2000 and finally, “Pompeii” by Bastille.
That’s a really mixed bag when it comes to quality but I feel like the same actually can’t be said for our debuts, which should be a short little romp but honestly also promise quality out of the gate.
NEW ARRIVALS
#72 - “Everywhere, Everything” - Noah Kahan
Produced by Gabe Simon and Noah Kahan
This is actually a deep cut from Stick Season but of course, it recently got a duet version released so here it is charting, alas in its original version because… that’s OCC for you. How is the original song? Well, Kahan’s been a bit hit or miss for me but this one’s definitely quite Christmassy so it’s a fitting week to debut, especially the opening line of “it’s been a long time” and shaking percussion that is bothersomely in the centre of the mix but still sounds like sleigh bells over the otherwise pretty bare acoustic guitar balladeering, until of course, you get the expected crash into stomp-rock melodrama and, sorry, I just think this formula has been done better, and the chorus here is actually kind of insufferable with the inflections. I suppose the loving-you-until-the-end conceit is cute and well done, but it also doesn’t really fit with the stop-and-start rhythm. I don’t know, it’s really an awkward one, one that I don’t feel makes much of a lasting impact, and adding Gracie Abrams of all people is decidedly not going to help it out at least for me. It’s still alright though, and there is a level of quality here in the songwriting that sometimes you don’t even get on a chart week so I’m not complaining.
#63 - “Jingle Bells” - Meghan Trainor
Produced by a scumbag, a maggot and a cheap lousy…
Listen, even if this wasn’t an Amazon original, I don’t think I’d review this. It’s like cactus repellant. Naturally I went into my batch of song suggestions and this time picked out “Lights” by Charlotte Plank and Hybrid Minds. Plank is a UK singer who hit the top 10 this year with “Dancing is Healing”, and she’s working with yet another drum and bass act, Hybrid Minds being active in liquid funk since around 2012, though they’ve mostly avoided charting. Released in September, I’m honestly kind of surprised this didn’t chart with Plank’s low-register… terribly-mixed vocals, amidst the clashing mix of reggae piano chords, lowly guitars and overwhelming multi-tracking that sadly lessens the impact of that drop into heavy breakbeats a bit… but when it does come in, I mean, it’s a cheat code to drop in some Amen breaks. I could care less about the lyrics here, but it is a shame that outside of that drop, I don’t find much to like, mostly because for a song in this genre, there’s just not much actually there. I think there’s a secretly great atmospheric drum and bass track here, it just needs more layers and less focus on the hyperactive drop. Still a decent song though, and I appreciate the suggestion. I just don’t think this particular one is for me, though I may find songs I like in both catalogues here so I’ll definitely check out more when I get the chance.
#56 - “MY HOUSE” - Beyoncé
Produced by The-Dream and Beyoncé
You can kind of tell that this is a concert film leftover. I’m sure that the film itself is actually brilliant even if self-indulgent because, I mean, it’s Beyoncé and RENAISSANCE is my favourite album of hers by far, but I can’t exactly expect the same budget for vintage sample collage and hard-hitting, dynamic dance tracks for what is essentially a B-side penned solely by Bey and The-Dream. That doesn’t mean it’s not good though because it absolutely is. That smug chuckle that starts the song before the crowd vocal against triumphant horns set this up to be a killer at a live show, so it’s fitting it was for the concert film. Bey also has a violent rasp to her yelling delivery here, not sliding on the beat but instead spitting all over those strings and military drums, and if that’s The-Dream on backing vocals in her verse, God, I’ve never heard him like that. It doesn’t settle for that victory lap though because you know the Queen has to start riffing her way into a completely new song with an even tighter techno groove and wiry, almost neurotic bass synth that just goes crazy, especially with the shifting industrial percussion and Bey holding it down so effortlessly, to the point where it sounds kind of weird when she actually does put in effort, delivering an inspirational spoken word piece that sounds like a sample over another layered harmony vocal that sounds like another sample, but it’s all Bey. It’s actually kind of brilliant in that regard, and I can sigh at her touting her album as anywhere close to “revolutionary”, but If I did, I’d be complaining about pretty much the fabric of the entire album… and that amount of eye-rolling may be better fit for another time because this is a very solid diva house track, even for just a loosie release.
#44 - “Winter Wonderland” (Spotify Singles Holiday) - Laufey
Produced by Laufey and Spencer Stewart
I mean, it’s immediately better than what Amazon churns out because I can actually hear it. Anyway, our story for this one begins all the way back in 1934, when American composers Felix Bernard and Richard Bernhard Smith - yes, both Bernards - wrote this song that’s really just about romance in the Winter, not necessarily Christmas. First recorded by jazz bandleader Richard Himber and his orchestra, it’s been covered a barely countable number of times since, with new arrangements, compositions and added lyrics showing up from time to time. It makes complete sense for Laufey, who mostly dabbles in a vintage kind of jazz-pop, to cover this, and yeah, it sounds good, of course it is. The classy mix is actually less subtle than I’d perhaps want for such an easy-going song but it’s a pretty clean arrangement outside of that, and Laufey, though I feel she struggles to be all that convincing of a performer, has a warm, rich undertone and definitely some little nuances of personality that make this a worthwhile edition to this catalogue of covers. Whilst we’re here, I may as well give a brief history of the song on the UK Singles Chart, as this is the sixth version. Whilst composed in the 1930s, the charts didn’t exist then and it didn’t appear until 1958, with somehow-still-alive Johnny Mathis’ version that, whilst short-lived, did peak at #17, becoming the highest-charting “Winter Wonderland”, though I barely see it floating on streaming these days. It really started picking up in the 90s, as the late Doris Day’s version, originally released in 1964, was doubled with her version of “The Christmas Song” for a 1990 re-release that peaked at #87. Dream pop band Cocteau Twins released an EP called Snow in 1993 that of course charted on the Singles Chart at #58, doubling their version up with a cover of “Frosty the Snowman”. Macy Gray’s 1999 version resurged and peaked at #76 in 2008, and then the several renditions by the late Tony Bennett, both the solo version from 1968 and the Lady Gaga duet from 2014, probably helped him land a chart placement with his version in 2019. It re-charted and peaked at #94 last year and given he sadly passed this year, I imagine we may see a new peak, possibly in the top 75. This little chart history anecdote may be my favourite part of writing this series, so just for funsies, when the versions of “Winter Wonderland” hit their peak, these songs were #1: “It’s Only Make Believe” by Conway Twitty, “Ice Ice Baby” by Vanilla Ice (also a pretty cold song), “Babe” by Take That (dethroning Mr. Blobby, may I add), Alexandra Burke’s cover of “Hallelujah”, “Merry Christmas” by Ed Sheeran and Elton John and of course, “Last Christmas”. It just goes to show you the longevity of this composition.
#20 - “You’re Losing Me” (From the Vault) - Taylor Swift
Produced by Jack Antonoff
You know you’re in the dregs of 2023 when several songs on your new entries list have subtitles. Jokes aside, this is one of Taylor Swift’s best songs: about her deteriorating relationship with Joe Alwyn, the track lyrically focuses on what may be the saddest ending to a relationship, that being gradual disconnect, especially when one person doesn’t even notice that something is wrong. The song acts as both a desperate plea to Alwyn to just rip the band-aid and end the relationship as well as a plea to herself to be the brave one and put an end to something that seemed perfect and is now far off the deep end, and not because of volatility or a toxic, abusive relationship, but instead, it just… doesn’t click into place the way it looked like it was going to. It’s a profoundly sad song, especially with the bridge demonstrating all the value and hard work Taylor is putting into this relationship only to see it not crumble, but fade in a tedious loss, and the production exemplifies this excellently, with the stray, pulsing synth bass - a killer detail considering that chorus - and the dynamic mix of airy synths from Jack Antonoff, as well as the production on Taylor’s voice, accentuating the human sighs whilst drowning some of her faded platitudes in Auto-Tune and multi-tracking, as she ends up on the opposite side of the room to her ex-partner. The strings are rushed against the quick yet oddly despondent drums, that feel like card just barely carrying the song on its shoulders. The harmonies and riffs in the second pre-chorus just sound so disconnected and sad; there are a lot of voices but none of them particularly stand out in how detailed yet scarce the song really is, thickening the air with indecision as she sings. The way the strings careen in the start of that bridge is one of my favourite moments in pop music this year, it’s an absolutely brilliant song, probably a perfect one in all honesty, and whilst I know it won’t stick around, it doesn’t mean it’s not a quality song. “My face was grey but you couldn’t admit we were sick” is a devastating line, gives me chills honestly. It took… nearly all year, but the Swifties have won me over big-time with this one. Christmas miracle.
Conclusion
Yeah, I mean Taylor Swift gets Best of the Week for “You’re Losing Me” and pretty handedly, but I should say that Beyoncé doesn’t trail far behind with the Honourable Mention for “MY HOUSE”. As for the worst, it goes to Noah Kahan by default for “Everywhere, Everything” but I really do think the song is okay, teetering on pretty decent, so take it with a grain of salt. We may actually get some competition amidst the festive onslaught with Nicki Minaj and Tate McRae, but part of me doubts they’ll end up too high. As for now, thank you for reading, rest in power to Benjamin Zephaniah, and I’ll see you next week!

(A little bit of Monaca in my life)
hey mondo, yeah, it's shane again. so uh, yeah, im not doing the best, feel like shit honestly. but i ain't gonna go through that again, im always like this. anyways, the more important thing here is that i clearly have a problem when it comes to dogs: i got another one. i told myself i wouldn't, but then i saw his face and i couldn't help myself- how could i not get him? he's a golden retriever pup (my second favourite breed btw), he's adorable as hell, plus the poor fella's only got three legs. i had to take him, he's like my old dog. little dude came home today and snowball already loves him. don't know what to name the little guy though, im bad with names, took me ages to decide on snowball.
I kind of figured, you weren’t doing too well the last time we spoke huh? Shit, I’m sorry to hear that dude, life really has it out for the best ones I swear.
Hey man, there’s nothing wrong with getting another dog, actually, that might just be me being completely biased you know. I love dogs, I’m a dog kind of guy, can’t go wrong with them. Plus, it doesn’t matter whether they’re tough or gentle, dogs are pretty loyal. Great pets too! I was going to suggest that you name him Ishimaru if he yaps a lot since the hall monitor himself loves to yell about rules and crap! Kind of makes sense with his yapping, like a damn chihuahua. Hm, well, there’s nothing wrong with taking a bit with a name. Just make sure that you don’t stop taking care of the little guy, especially since he’s going to need some extra care. I have a dog, name’s Jax, what about that name? Actually, I won’t tell you what to name your dog, I keep forgetting this isn’t my dog. It’s cool that Snowball is warming up to the new family member. Don’t overwhelm yourself alright? Having these pets are like havin’ some kids, except at least they don’t cry and need diaper changes...although they have their own respective ways of showing that...
Spend some time with your dogs dude, I know life is shit, but you can pull through with these little guys by your side and hell, me too! I’m always rooting for you dude, give your dogs a hug from me yea?

Raw Fake Rankings, 12/31/2020
Men’s heavyweight singles division - babyfaces
Drew McIntyre (WWE world champion)
Sheamus
Keith Lee
Ricochet
Men’s heavyweight singles division - heels
Randy Orton
Bobby Lashley (WWE United States champion)
AJ Styles
MVP
Elias
Mustafa Ali
Unranked: Akira Tozawa, Angel Garza, Drew Gulak, Humberto Carrillo, Jaxson Ryker, Mace, Slapjack, T-Bar
It feels like the real direction for the main event involves the intrigue between Drew McIntyre and Sheamus, with the Miz in the background with his Money in the Bank contract. Sounds like a pretty solid plan to kick off the year 2011, with fresh young talent that...wait, I’m being handed a bulletin. Tomorrow is 2021.
Seriously, though, the Sheamus storyline is at least novel, in that he never really turned babyface but--by virtue of his association with McIntyre--he’s all but ceased acting as a heel except to tease turning on Drew someday. And they seem to be doing a better job than usual protecting a guy (Lashley) to set up a money match down the line. (Although I’m not sure what that match is, since Lashley already challenged McIntyre and lost.) And I suppose they have a plan for Randy Orton vs. Bray Wyatt, even if I don’t get it.
However, Raw has struggled to make new stars. (McIntyre’s 2020 push has been a success, but I’d call that a do-over from when they dropped the ball on him in 2009-2013). Keith Lee’s run on this brand has been a critical failure. Elias is about 5% wrestler and 95% cheap heat skits, and now he’s got Ryker standing around helping him not wrestle much. Ricochet and Ali’s Retribution stable are in a battle of losers. The Hurt Business is getting over as a top heel group, but they have a median age of 45 and they’re running out of hot faces to fight.
What will make Raw interesting in 2021 is that the brand is truly painted into a corner. The show hit record low rating multiple times in 2020, and tried a lot of quick-fix hot angles that went nowhere. The big arrivals this year didn’t make much of an impact, and indeed they’ve eroded the fandom’s faith in “calling up someone from NXT for a big push on Raw.” So what else can they try? We’ll soon find out.
Men’s tag team division - babyfaces
The Hardy Bros - Jeff Hardy & Matt Riddle
The New Day - Kofi Kingston & Xavier Woods
Lucha House Party - Gran Metalik & Lince Dorado
Men’s tag team division - heels
Cedric Alexander & Shelton Benjamin (Raw tag team champions)
The Miz (Mr. Money in the Bank) & John Morrison
I’m not even totally sure Riddle and Hardy are a long-term team, but I guess WWE has already trademarked “Hardy Bros” so for now they believe they’re sticking with that. Lucha House Party showed up on the December 30 NXT to feud with Legado del Fantasma, which sure sounds like they’re leaving Raw for good, but we’ll have to wait and see.
Women’s singles division - babyfaces
Nikki Cross
Women’s singles division - heels
Reckoning
Raw’s women’s division is currently revolving around the tag title, so the singles division amounts to the women who don’t have tag partners right now. Incidentally, I’m very surprised that the Alexa Bliss-Nikki Cross split ended without either of them really turning heel.
Women’s tag team division - babyfaces
Asuka (Raw women’s champion) & Charlotte Flair (WWE women’s tag team champions)
Dana Brooke & Mandy Rose
Women’s tag team division - heels
Nia Jax & Shayna Baszler
Lacey Evans & Peyton Royce
Jax and Baszler were kinda thrown together as a monster super-team a while back, which then led to them picking on Lana, which then led to Asuka offering to help Lana go after the tag title, which somehow led to Asuka and Flair as the tag champions. Meanwhile, WWE went to all the trouble of repackaging Rose and Royce as solo acts just to turn around and put them in new teams for lack of any other ideas.
I suppose you could build up the tag division from these four makeshift teams, but I don’t expect they will. It’s all just in service to Asuka and Flair inevitably feuding over the singles title. Once that gets going, I would imagine Asuka and Flair will do a “lose the tag title through miscommunication” thing and the belts will go to Evans and Royce, and get lost in the shuffle just like every time Royce and Billie Kay got the belts.
No matches in 30 days: Alexa Bliss, Dabba-Kato, Erik, Omos, R-Truth (WWE 24/7 champion), Titus O’Neil, Tucker
Dabba-Kato has yet to wrestle an actual match on Raw, and hasn’t been seen since Raw Underground was shelved. Omos also hasn’t had a match yet, and technically isn’t even listed on WWE’s official roster. I’m not sure what the in-ring future is for Bliss--her association with Bray Wyatt is money, but I don’t foresee it leading to a lot of women’s matches.
I’m starting to wonder if WWE has actually lost interest in the 24/7 title, given that nobody seems to have chased R-Truth around for it in a while. It’s one of those things that can keep running on autopilot, well after they stop putting in actual effort--not unlike the original WWE hardcore title that inspired it--but now they don’t even seem to be doing that.
Part-time/semi-retired: Shane McMahon, The Big Show, Triple H
Shane was brought back in 2020 as the spokesperson for Raw Underground, so when that idea got canned, he disappeared as well. So it’s really hard to imagine how he could return, since his primary value to WWE is to make an unexpected return to hype some new hotshot idea, and they literally just tried and failed to do that. And it wouldn’t make much since for him to “invade” with a hotshot new faction, considering they still haven’t wound down Retribution.
Inactive
Andrade (elective surgery)
Becky Lynch (maternity leave)
Braun Strowman (storyline - indefinite suspension)
Bray Wyatt (storyline - burnt to a crisp)
Edge (right arm - triceps tear)
Ivar (neck - cervical vertebrae injury)
Jinder Mahal (right knee - unspecified injury)
Lana (storyline - head and left knee injuries)
Mickie James (nose - collapsed nasal cavity)
Naomi (abdomen - myomectomy)
Riddick Moss (knee - ACL tear)
Samoa Joe (concussion)
It was never entirely clear why Strowman was taken off TV, but I would assume he’ll back in time for the Royal Rumble, unless he’s dealing with an injury. Similarly, I’m sure Wyatt will be back by the end of January, having magically recovered from being immolated by Randy Orton. It’s interesting, though, that Wyatt and Orton will be settling their differences right around the time Edge is expected to return to renew his rivalry with Orton. Is it possible Orton could go 2-0 with Wyatt to build him up for Edge? And if so, how does Orton finish off Wyatt in a way that can top burning him alive?
Lana should be available to return whenever WWE needs, but it’s tough to gauge whether they’re waiting for the right moment in her story with Nia Jax, or if they’ve given up on all that and will leave her on the bench until they think of some totally new gimmick for her.
For the record, Andrade and James were in the 2020 draft pool but never picked, so technically they can show up on any brand once they return to action. Lynch, Edge, Ivar, Mahal, and Joe weren’t even included in the draft pool, but I think that had more to do with their lengthy time away than anything else. Regardless, I wouldn’t count on any of these performers leaving Raw anytime soon.

WrestleMania 37 (Review)
What was wrong with Wrestlemania 37? Uh let's go in order. Slammiversery '16 vibes. Drew McIntyre being put to sleep by Bobby Lashley is much of an upset that I can't say not a lot of people wanted. Good on them for finally making Lashley look strong, but after year's of ruined booking coupled with him being boring, it was overall unfortunate for WrestleMania to open on a sour note; not to mention at the expense of McIntyre. Hope they repeat that again night two.. Natalya & Tamina won the Tag-Team gauntlet which deserved to be pre-show filler more than some matches in past WrestleMania pre-shows. Cesaro defeated Rollins was fine, but perhaps should have gotten more than 11:35 minutes. AJ Styles & Omos going over New Day wasn't bad, but underwhelming. To have New Day & AJ Styles not in their own elements of showcasing a tag-team and singles bout clinic and instead lumping them together to carry Omos wasn't WrestleMania worthy. Strowman vs Shane McMahon in a cage was not bad at all. Felt like it could have opened up WrestleMania in prior years. As well as Bad Bunny & Damian Priest did against Miz & Morrison, I'm upset that they couldn't have opted to use Miz & Morrison in a better role; like perhaps against New Day? Lastly for night one, Bianca Belair got her moment, but unfortunately at the expense of Sash Banks who's now 0-7 at WrestleMania. Maybe it's because I didn't follow Bianca in NXT, but for her to come up, last 29 others in a rumble and then main event WrestleMania night one against Sasha Banks seems like a lot for someone who I haven't heard of outside of dating Montez Ford.
Night two, and everything wrong with it: One.. Having The Fiend in his first match back lose to Orton in 5 minutes is a joke. Ruining The Fiend and Alexa Bliss' union in order to achieve the aforementioned issue is the second offense. Nia Jax & Shayna Baszler defeating Natalya & Tamina was alright. I don't look at it as WrestleMania worthy, and not to mention it was the second longest match of night two.. Kevin Owens & Sami Zayn's bout was decent. Again, if WrestleMania worthy, I'd say it deserved to be in the same boat as Strowman vs McMahon in the sense that it was built fine, executed fine.. but it's WrestleMania.. and "fine" shouldn't be the goal trying to be shot for. Sheamus defeated Riddle for the US Title was well done, and the ending spot was nice. Apollo Crews defeated Big E I found to be a joke, not to mention the stipulation being heavily needed. Maybe it's just me, but years of lack luster booking with Apollo & relegating Big E to the tag division have ruined me viewing this match as WrestleMania worthy. Not to mention both men's status would be more indicative of a lower-card title like a European, rather than a higher mid-card title such as the Intercontinental championship. Sorry not sorry. Rhey Ripley getting her win was nice. I believe the match could have went longer than 13:30, but also think that having her beat Asuka wasn't good for business. Why not having her win the Rumble is beyond me. Lastly, the only arguably great match of either night.. Roman Reigns vs Edge vs Daniel Bryan. I feel like this was done well, but still by the end of it, something felt off. Weather it be constant interference by Jey Uso, or the fact that they had Roman pin both of them; the finishes and booking of this show did one thing well, and it was having the seemingly wrong competitors win. Maybe moving forward it won't be as bad because they have plans in store.. but what am I kidding? This is the WWE in 2k21. IMO the only people who should have went over that did were: Cesaro, Styles & Amos, Strowman, Kevin Owens, Sheamus (although could have went either way), & Rhea (although at the expense of Asuka). This 'Mania was a disappointment. I don't know what I'd rate it, but a 2.5/3 out of 10 sounds about right if I had to guestimate.
I'll leave you with this short list of notable names left off of the WrestleMania card: Elias, Jaxson Ryker, Jeff Hardy, Keith Lee, Mustafa Ali, Ricochet, Samoa Joe, Aleistar Black, Bayley, King Corbin, Dolph Ziggler, Rey Mysterio, Robert Roode, & Shinsuke Nakamura.. all MIA.. but yeah.. Bad Bunny, Omos, Tamina, & Apollo get 5 matches between the 4 of them. I’ve never seen a modern WrestleMania feel more like 2nd rate B-show May-June PPV (excluding MItB).. Could have had: Night 1: 1. Mustafa Ali vs Ricochet (Either give it a build a few weeks before; perhaps be Ricochet the reason why Ali broke away from Retribution; if not, have Adam Pierce acknowledge how good of talent they are, and say “The universe deserves one hell of a match for their first night back as a live audience, so I want to give them something special”, IE: This match.) 2. Raw Tag-Team Championships: Kofi Kingston (champion) & Xavier Woods (champion) defeat Elias & Jaxon Ryker, Gran Metalik & Lince Dorado, Slapjack & T-Bar, & Humberto Carillo & Angel Garza [Tag-Team Turmoil Match] 3. Keith Lee defeats AJ Styles 4. Shane McMahon defeats Braun Strowman via escape when Braun puts Shane through the cage and Shane hits the floor. (The beating can continue throughout the area like Strowman’s beating to Reigns did at Great Balls of Fire; essentially being a backstage / falls count anywhere segment.) 5. Universal Championship No. 1 Contender’s Match: Seth Rollins & Kevin Owens defeat Cesaro, Shinsuke Nakamura, Sami Zayn, & King Corbin [6-Man Scramble Match] ; Seth Rollins & Kevin Owens get a double pin on Sami Zayn, advancing in a Triple Threat Match & furthering Sami Zayn’s conspiracy theories. 6. WWE Championship Match: The Miz (champion) vs Daniel Bryan (who should have either won the Royal Rumble and faced Miz who cashed in at Rumble, or won the championship from Roman Reigns at Fastlane, and been cashed in on by The Miz, therefore setting up this match.) 7. Raw Woman’s Championship Match: Rhea Ripley defeats Asuka (champion) & Bianca Belair (by pinning Bianca Belair) Night 2: 1. United States Championship Challenge: Riddle (champion) defeats A returning Samoa Joe or Jeff Hardy / Alternatively; Aleistar Black & or Adam Cole could make a surprise appearance and go over. 2. SmackDown Tag-Team Championship: Dolph Ziggler (champion) & Bobby Roode (champion) defeat Rey & Dominik Mysterio / Street Profits 3. Drew McIntyre defeats Sheamus [Falls Count Anywhere, Last Man Standing, and or Cinematic Bar-Room Brawl Match] 4. Bobby Lashley & M.V.P defeat Shelton Benjamin & Cedrick Alexander [Tag-Team Match] 5. “The Fiend” Bray Wyatt defeats Randy Orton 6. SmackDown Women’s Championship: Sasha Banks (champion) defeats Bayley 7. Universal Championship: Roman Reigns (champion) defeats Seth Rollins vs Kevin Owens Yet we didn’t get this. We got what we got. And I for one am underwhelmed, dissapointed, and feel like there was no effort. I don’t even think the show was worth the cost of production. #SorryNotSorry

A bunch of the Souls of my Soul eater OCs! I’m working on redesigning all of them and these are all the ones I’ve done so far (Plus my new ones Jax and Kit)
Find out which are which below!
top left
Kit (white, Xe/Xem or She/her pronouns) is a Spiritual who communicates and helps nature spirits! Xey come from a small village deep in a forest in japan and came to DWMA to train.
Jax (orange) is my Soul eater self insert and is a Crimson Blade Naginata (A type of blade made by witches for witches but only a few were made before she was supposedly killed) and is Kit’s weapon partner.
Middle Left
Jack Damasune (purple) is half weapon half witch who left witch society to come to DWMA to learn about her father. She ends up getting caught but is allowed to stay at DWMA providing she takes special classes and wears a tracker because she doesn't feel the pull of destruction that witches do because of her weapon blood. She’s a kitsune and can only really do transformation and mimicry magic anyways. She’s a scythe
Peyton (orange) Is Jack’s meister and is generally pretty scary and cold but if you get to know him he’s really funny
Bottom left
Arisu Cheshire (pink) comes from a branch of Kit’s culture but receives a Spirit when they come of age and are able to shift into that animal (in her case a cat). Arisu showed signs of turning to more dangerous magic so her village sent her to DWMA to prevent this
Middle top
Aru Bell (Redish pink) is a duel wielding meister who is autistic and has really bad sensory issues with sound so always has headphones that play white noise to help them function day to day. They have the ability to use this white noise to get soul wavelengths to match up that wouldn’t normally
Dimitri Elderloche (orange) is a Short sword who comes from a small fishing village in the north, he wants to become a death weapon so he can help support his town.
Maria Young (pink) is another short sword who comes from a rich family of proud DMWA weapon graduates and is mostly at DWMA to continue this tradition
Middle bottom
Shadow Hikage (purple) is from a small village that was destroyed by a witch who was fleeing DWMA agents when she was a child, she is one of the handful of people who survived but it left her with a lot of anxiety and wants to become a death weapon to help her get over her fears. They are a gun weapon
Blaze (red) Is another survivor of Shadow’s village and grew up with Shadow. Her right arm is badly damaged from it and they have many scars over their body but they keep a very cheerful attitude. They’re known for having unpredictable movements when fighting
Top Right
Kata (blue) is from a descendant clan of the Immortal werewolf clan Free is from, although their bloodline no longer posses immortality they still are able to shapeshift. She is the oldest of the village leader’s children and are the only one so far to awaken their weapon ability in their generation. She’s attending DWMA as part of diplomatic negotiations between DWMA and her tribe. They are a harpoon
Reign (purple) is a mysterious meister who has partnered with Kata
middle Right and Bottom Right
right now their stories are still in the works so i dont want to share them but blue is Ray who’s a weapon, light red is Shane whos a meister, Dark red is Sage whos a meister and green is Siren

WrestleMania 35
As of this writing, WrestleMania 36 is set to air in two days, and due to the fallout from the ongoing global COVID-19 pandemic, will be airing taped from an empty arena a couple weeks prior, and over two nights. I have been advocating for two night ‘Manias since the WWE Network era of PPVs have caused WrestleManias having bloated cards and lasting nearly SEVEN hours when factoring in the pre-show matches. Since it is WrestleMania week, I am here to continue my annual tradition of watching the previous year’s installment on BluRay and break it all down here. I broke up watching the nine-ish hours of BluRay content over a few days, which lead for a more non-overkill experience, and I ended up enjoying the overall show exponentially more this way as you will soon read on. Now even though the BluRay has around nine hours of content on the disc, the cumulative total of content the BluRay unlocked for me was about 12 hours by including a digital copy of not only the PPV, but also a digital only copy of the Hall of Fame ceremony that preceded WrestleMania a couple days prior. For the second straight WrestleMania BluRay, the Hall of Fame is not included on the disc, and is instead replaced with the following night’s RAW in its entirety, which here is just over two hours when taking out all the ad breaks.
The Hall of Fame ceremony this year saw Jerry Lawler replaced as the host with Corey Graves & Renee Young, complete with grimace-caliber jokes of the stereotypical award show variety. The 2019 ceremony also saw a different setup with a ring in the center of the arena where all the speeches were delivered, and while it provided a nice visual, it also made it easier for an overzealous fan to run in and attack cancer and stroke survivor, Bret Hart during his speech. I recall getting the faintest look at the guy before cameras cut away and at first thinking because of the goofy hair that it was Enzo again up to shenanigans a few months after dancing in the front rows of the crowd at Survivor Series, but was then further perplexed to find out minutes later that Enzo and Cass did a worked shoot run-in at the G1 Supercard concurrently taking place. It turned out it was a fan with mental health issues, and obviously WWE cut out the run-in on the final Hall of Fame video cut, and the only thing apparent of something happening is that after a cut to the crowd, Bret Hart’s hair is suddenly tangled up. If you have not witnessed that brazen fan run-in, click or press here for fan-phone footage of proceeding to get pounced by countless wrestlers almost instantly. Bizarre fan attack aside, it was a much brisker ceremony (only three and a half hours!) thanks in part to no Hillbilly Jim speech this year (which was deservingly poked at this year), and a couple inductees not having inductions either, and the ones that did must have had strict time limits because I do not recall an inductor going longer than five minutes. Honkey Tonk Man set the stage with the fun-gimmick from the Rock ‘n Wrestling years, with a groovy entrance and exit, complete by singing his song on the way out and doing a noticeably better performance than Double J the year prior. Torrie Wilson’s speech felt more of a Ted Talk, but still heartwarming and inspirational and I will give her all the benefit of the doubt considering her father and former on-screen talent and Dawn Marie love interest, Al Wilson passed away two days prior. Also pleasant was seeing Stacy Kiebler break her 13-year WWE absence by inducting her.
The legacy class of 2019 had another ten inductees with brief 20-30 second video pieces on each. Most of them are more classic pre-cable TV era wrestlers, but some are more recently noteworthy and remembered like SD Jones, Bruiser Brody and Luna Vachon and in my opinion more deserving of traditional inductions. I hope if WWE keeps this up they will at least have a family member do a separate video induction and include it on their website for a more proper way to remember these legacy stars. The Hart Foundation was the next inductee, with Natalya accepting for her father, The Anvil. Bret and Naddie gave the successful Rock ‘n Wrestling era tag team a fitting induction, filled with classic stories from their days in one of the most successful periods of tag teams in WWE history. Brutus Beefcake gave a surprisingly good speech for his induction, as did the Hulkster for inducting him as he laid out how he broke Brutus into the business. Kind of surprising it happened considering the recent disparaging comments between the two with Brutus’s tell-all biography from a couple years earlier, but maybe it ‘was all a work brother!’ Props to Brutus for giving the Doctors who saved him from his terrible parasailing accident their kudos, and for calling out Shawn Michaels for still owing him for his barbershop window! The Warrior Award went to Sue Ajtheson, a backstage WWE official who is largely responsible for their Make-a-Wish efforts. Dana Warrior and John Cena gave heartfelt, genuine inductions for her, and Sue was a gem enlightening us about her philanthropic accomplishments.
Harlem Heat got inducted next, and after Booker T gave his brother Stevie Ray an outstanding tribute, it was then time for Stevie Ray sharing several stories of the trials of Harlem Heat breaking in before they finally found success in WCW. D-Generation X headlined the Hall of Fame, and as expected it was lengthy with X-Pac, Road Dogg, Billy Gunn, Shawn Michaels and Triple H all giving speeches. They unleashed some vintage DX humor to start off with. Other highlights include giving Chyna her proper acknowledgement, Billy Gunn getting razzed for being with the new competition in AEW, X-Pac getting super jittery in his sea of notes and all of them busting out Super Soakers and dousing their colleagues in the crowd, especially Baron Corbin. Now onto the 16 match WrestleMania 35 card (guys….I am sorry, thank you so much for sticking with me!). If you have yet to watch WrestleMania 35 then before reading this recap, I recommend breaking it up into a two part watch, and give this strong recommendation of preferred matches for each night to make for a better experience that I guarantee you will not struggle to stay awake through: WrestleMania 35 – Day 1 Watch Order: Tony Nese vs Buddy Murphy, WrestleMania Women’s Battle Royal, Seth Rollins vs. Brock Lesnar, SmackDown Tag Titles Fatal Four Way, Miz vs. Shane McMahon, Triple H vs. Batista, Elias/John Cena ‘Concert’, Finn Balor vs. Bobby Lashley, Kofi Kingston vs. Daniel Bryan WrestleMania 35 – Day 2 Watch Order: Zack Ryder & Curt Hawkins vs. Revival, Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal, AJ Styles vs. Randy Orton, Women’s Tag Titles Fatal Four Way, Roman Reigns vs. Drew McIntyre, Samoa Joe vs. Rey Mysterio, Kurt Angle vs. Baron Corbin, Ronda Rousey vs. Charlotte Flair vs. Becky Lynch Four of those matches were on the pre-show and are included on the BluRay as extras. In a rare move, WWE had the local have a feel good moment with Tony Nese winning the Cruiserweight Title from Buddy Murphy in a nice hybrid of strong style and high-flying that got the crowd hot by the end. In the WrestleMania Women’s Battle Royal, Carmella played the surprise last second sneak-in card to eliminate Sarah Logan and win the ‘prestigious’ hip/leg trophy. In a surprising second feel good hometown hero story, Curt Hawkins snapped his 269 match losing streak when him and his fellow bro-ski, Zack Ryder won the RAW tag titles from The Revival when Hawkins got the surprise inside cradle for the electric pop! In the final pre-show match, Braun Strowman won the Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal by eliminating celebrity entrants, SNL’s Colin Jost & Michael Che. A lot of hype on RAW built up the SNL stars, but the two hid under the ring until the end of the match in their failed efforts to surprise eliminate Braun.
In the official WrestleMania opener, Seth Rollins won the Universal Title from Brock Lesnar. Their follow-up match at SummerSlam is leagues better, because all there is to this is Brock getting an early attack on Seth and brutalizing him outside the ring for a few minutes, and then only a couple minutes into the actual match Seth low blows Brock and hits a few stomps for the victory. Last few years something about Randy Orton has made his stock rise higher for me. I appreciate his ring IQ and psychology that allows matches to breathe, and Orton’s skills blended perfectly with AJ Styles with some convincing sequences before Styles hit a Phenomenal Forearm for the win. The first of two four way tag title matches occurred next with the Usos, The Bar, Rusev & Shinske Nakamura and Aleistar Black & Ricochet vying for the SmackDown straps. All four teams brought it, and did not appear they were there for an easy payday with the creative spots they unleashed with an innovative tower of doom spot and Cesaro’s countless swings to the crowd’s approval until the Usos hit their double top turnbuckle splash on Sheamus for the W. I loved the buildup for The Miz and Shane McMahon’s Falls Count Anywhere match. Miz gradually won over Shane’s trust all in the name to win his dad’s precious approval, only to then see Shane turn on Miz and attack Miz’s dad! I was not disappointed with how they got Miz’s dad involved in the match with Shane shaming Miz’s dad’s ability to fight. The two had a pretty solid brawl all over the arena that ultimately saw Miz deliver a suplex from the tech area scaffolding onto a crash pad, but saw Shane conveniently laid out barely over Miz to nudge out a three count for the fluke upset. The newly established Women’s tag titles were on the line with Sasha Banks & Bayley defending against the Iconics, Nia Jax & Tamina and Natalya & Beth Phoenix. A lot of controversy was reported on the champs throwing a tantrum backstage hearing they were losing the titles, which happened when Billie Kay stole a pin with a blind tag on Beth Phoenix after she hit a top rope Glam Slam. Minus a handful of moments, Sasha and Bayley’s main roster runs have been beyond disastrous compared to their rise up the ranks in NXT.
‘KofiMania’ emerged when Kofi Kingston vanquished that vile do-gooder, Daniel Bryan to become the first full blooded African American to win the WWE title in its near 60 year history. There were a couple of extended hold sequences in the front half that overstayed their welcome, but the back half amped up big time with some creative reversals, near-falls and clever use of the New Day and Erik Rowan on the outside. I was just as happy as the WWE locker room shown celebrating for Kofi after he hit the Trouble in Paradise to win the championship. He had a killer half year run as champ….until Brock Lesnar waffled him in seven seconds for the gold and Kofi immediately went right back to the midcard in his happy-go-lucky pancake thrower days of yore and acted like his championship run never happened. Samoa Joe finally got his overdue WrestleMania debut match against a recently returned Rey Mysterio. I presumed the two had an epic match lined up, but Rey got hurt the RAW before and was only capable of performing for about a minute before Joe locked in his trademark Kokina Clutch for the submission victory. Roman Reigns was up next in his first singles match coming back after overcoming a second bout of Leukemia for the heartwarming win against Drew McIntyre. I recall dreading the buildup for this because Drew had a variety of ‘you may have conquered cancer…’ type promos and hyped himself up as deadlier than cancer, when naturally everyone knew Roman was going to win, and that is exactly what we got in a formula Roman match. The read in the ardent fan crowd throughout the match was readily apparent, they were no longer booing Roman out of the building like they normally would, because what kind of person can boo a cancer survivor (please do not answer that)? However, there was no overwhelming crowd going wild reaction either, but more of a tempered, altruistic applause instead. That has primarily been Roman’s reception for coming back since, and that is kind of how I feel too.
Elias performed a one man ‘concert’ next complete with other hologram Elias projections playing in conjunction with him until John Cena interrupted. John came out in throwback Dr. Thugganomics form and laid down some rhymes before hitting a F-U to the crowd’s approval. The presumption going in by most was that Undertaker would make his requisite WrestleMania appearance here, but 2019 marked the first time since 2000 that Undertaker did not appear or wrestle in any form on a WrestleMania. Strangely enough, Undertaker did interrupt another Elias performance the next day on RAW. Triple H and Batista squared off in a No Holds Barred brawl next, and I recall being burnt out by this point in the card and nodding off throughout it. Match held up incredibly better on second viewing with the two busting out a wide variety of weaponry in too many gruesome spots to dissect, other than that grotesque nose ring spot that reverberated throughout everyone in the crowd. The finish saw Triple H hitting probably the slickest looking sledgehammer shot ever with some added trajectory by leaping off the stairs, and following it up with the Pedigree for the pin. Kurt Angle hit the end of the line in a few months of ‘farewell tour’ matches against Baron Corbin here. I was worried for Angle as his previous few matches saw him struggling to go through the motions, but a few weeks of added rest benefitted him here with him looking remarkably better and capable of several of his vintage suplexes and throws, and even busting out an impressive moonsault….that missed and lead him walking into an End of Days that netted Corbin the pinfall. Finn Balor faced Bobby Lashley in the penultimate match of the night, and the two delivered a short, but high energy match to help inject some energy into the understandably deflated crown by this point. Balor hit his Coup de Gras for the pin.
The 16th and final match of the night saw the women headline WrestleMania for the first time ever with the Women’s titles for both RAW and SmackDown on the line in a triple threat between Ronda Rousey, Charlotte Flair and Becky Lynch. All three laid it in strong style in easily one of the hardest hitting women matches I have ever seen. All three were decorated with battle scars, especially Ronda’s leg! However, one significant botch tarnished the match, and unfortunately it happened right at the finish when Lynch countered Rousey’s Piper’s Pit slam with a crucifix for the pin. Rousey inadvertently popped her shoulder up during the pin, and the ref did not restart his count and continued with the controversial three count. Even the announcers did not turn a blind eye to it and questioned the ref’s call, and it turned out the ref was later fined for blowing the call. I am not going to recap the following night’s RAW, but I did watch it and will give a couple key takeaways since the RAW after WrestleManias are notorious for returns, and unpredictable fan reactions suffering from wrestling burnout. Rollins and Kofi teased a winner takes all title match, but it quickly morphed into a tag match after The Bar interfered to the crowd’s rightful disgust! The controversial Lars Sullivan debuted on the main roster, Sami Zayn returned and turned heel after nearly a year away from double rotator cuff surgery. Dana Brooke and Mojo Rawley both deliver bizarre backstage promos. There was the aforementioned Undertaker attack on Elias and finally Dean Ambrose’s final televised WWE match that did not officially get started because he brawled outside the ring with Bobby Lashley before getting sent through a table. There is one last BluRay bonus that has footage from after RAW went off the air, where Rollins called out Roman and Dean and brought them to the ring for one last curtain call from The Shield.
That puts a wrap on the yearly monstrous WrestleMania recap. Once again I give my heartfelt gratitude for sticking with me the whole way through this. It was a chore to get through the whole show live in one shot, but it definitely helped spacing it over a few days this second time around. Again, if there is any upside with WWE having to switch up their WrestleMania plans with the global pandemic currently happening, it is that them having WrestleMania transpire over two days will make it vastly more watchable, and decrease the burnout of trying to watch wrestling for seven hours straight. Throw in the wild cards of the empty arena and undisclosed filming locations for the gimmick matches, and well….check back with me here next year to see how it all played out.

Note
I’m gonna jump off the ask you just answered and ask you more of your favorite and least favorite seasons. Note; if you have watched the show just file under not watched. That 70’s Show, Bates Motel, Sons of Anarchy, The Walking Dead, The Originals.
That 70s Show
I’ve only watched the first two seasons.
Bates Motel
Favourite season: Season 4
I already loved Bates Motel before this season, but this is the season that really made me sit back and think, “god damn, this show is amazing”. Norman’s mental state hugely detoriates in this season and the complexities of that are explored brilliantly. The psychological reasons for Mother’s existence come to light in a very satisfying way. Norma and Romero’s romance is fresh and provides a nice reprieve from the constant doom and gloom. Norman being committed and Norma’s relationship with Romero provides conflict for their relationship. It’s interesting to see Norman try to come to terms with what he views as a betrayal from Norma by placing him in the psychiatric hospital. Likewise, Norman feels for the first time in his life that he’s not Norma’s priority and has to adapt to sharing her with another man. Norma and Norman’s relationship is crazy complex anyway, but this season takes it to a new level and I love it. The end of the season is mind-blowingly good. Norma’s death is unexpected, shocking and handled brilliantly resulting in a fantastically strong end to an otherwise amazing season.
Least favourite season: Season 5
It’s disappointing that after such a strong fourth season, the final season doesn’t deliver the quality that it could’ve. Overall, I find the season to be very slow paced and it handles a lot of things poorly. Despite Norma still being on the show, she’s there as Mother rather than Norma and therefore Norma’s absence is felt. Dylan and Emma’s relationship in this season is poorly written and does a disservice to both characters. Romero’s final arc is shoddily written and the final showdown between him and Norman is underwhelming. Despite a strong season finale, the season overall seems to lose its steam and direction. The intrigue surrounding Norman’s dual identity is no longer present in this season because it’s already been explained in season 4, the complex relationship of Norman and Norma which is the foundation of the show is gone because Norma’s dead, Dylan ceases to have any real purpose or arc and Romero’s actions frustrate the hell out of me.
Sons of Anarchy
Favourite season: Season 4
In terms of plot this is the strongest season. The stakes are high with the Cartel and Tara’s knowledge of Clay and Gemma’s history with JT puts her in danger, creating conflict between Clay and Jax, and Clay and Gemma. Clay and Jax’s dynamic is one of my favourites and this season takes that to the extremes. They start the season as a partnership, both determined to go to darker than ever before with the Carterl and coke dealing to earn big so that they can then both leave SAMRCO and move on. However, the events of the season result in them becoming enemies and Jax stepping up to the plate and taking the gavel. Jax’s arc in this season is amazing and really delves into the inner turmoil he feels as he tries to straddle two worlds of being VP of a criminal gang and a father and husband. Juice’s arc in this season is emotional and compelling. We also finally get a pay-off for Donna and Piney’s deaths as Opie explodes and shoots Clay in one of the most dramatic endings to an episode in the history of the series. I love this season because the central plot and sub-plots are all carefully crafted and executed well; the characters all have amazing arcs and the plots create conflict and play amazingly into the different dynamics that exist between the characters.
Least favourite season: Season 7
There’s not much to say about this season other than I find it very slow. It’s not the first season of SOA that has pacing issues, but because it’s the final season it really suffers for it. The reveal that Gemma killed Tara takes too long to come about and I find it hard to believe that Jax is really that naive that he has no clue that Gemma could somehow be involved. A lot of the important relationships on the show are sidelined and it feels like Jax and Chibs are the only two from SAMCRO that actually have any kind of friendship. The season also suffers from the loss of strong characters like Clay and Tara.
The Walking Dead
Favourite season: Season 2
I know this is an unpopular opinion, but I love season 2. The fact that the season is only 13 episodes probably plays into this because I think TWD works much better the less episodes it has. It’s an understated season that isn’t in your face like the later seasons but has a cohesive plot running throughout and is very focused. There’s drama with Sophia’s disappearance and Carl’s shooting, both of which show how high the stakes are since the only two children in the group are both thrown into mortal danger. I’m a huge fan of Rick and Lori, so seeing them navigate their relationship in this season is interesting, particularly after Lori discovers she’s pregnant. The Glenn and Maggie romance is sweet and is a nice break from the darkness of the show. Hershel keeping a barn full of walkers is a good twist that poses questions about what the walkers are. Up until that point the position on walkers has been clear: they’re abhorrent animals that are devoid of human emotion and reasoning and need to be killed. But Hershel’s humanist perspective fuelled by his faith provides a contrast to that and the questions he asks about the possibility of a cure being found in the future is reasonable. The scene where Sophia steps out of the barn is one of the most memorable scenes in the show and takes the show to new levels, showing that TWD is not afraid to go to extremes and defy expectations. We see the first interaction that the group has with outsiders and that introduces us to the danger that humans pose, which is a perfect set up for the seasons to follow. Rick is pushed to new places in this season with Carl being shot and having to kill Sophia and Shane. This is the start of him changing into the hardened, ruthless leader he later becomes. And of course there’s Shane who is one of my favourite characters. Seeing his descent in this season alone is enough to land it at the top of my favourite seasons. It’s handled brilliantly and I love watching every single second of it. Shane is a complex character who deep down is definitley not a bad guy but that is changed by the new world and pushed to the extremes by certain situations he finds himself in. The end of the season is brilliant with the farmhouse burning to the ground, Rick killing Shane in a violent face-off, Shane turning and revealing the big secret that everyone is infected, Carl putting Shane down once and for all and Rick’s ending speech. It sets the presedence for what’s to come and it’s a fantastic season.
Least favourite season (note that I stopped watching after season 8): Season 8
The show had been declining long before season 8, but season 8 is where I decided to finally draw the line. The Negan plot was drained within an inch of its life, the group spends most of the season split up, everything that happens is a complete rehash of season 3 and 4 with the Governor but a poorer version, all character development is cast aside and the show commits suicide when it kills Carl off. Carl’s death alone is enough for me to rate this as my least favourite season, because that’s the point at which there was no return for me. To kill off Carl, who has been on the show from the beginning, who the audience have watched grow from a little boy to a young man, who is the future, whose relationship with Rick is the very foundation and heart upon which the show is built, was unforgivable. It just reaffirmed for me that this once great show was no longer worth my time.
The Originals
Favourite season: Season 2
I’m not very confident in this decision, because there’s not one particular season of TO that stands out to me as being the best. I’m generally not a very big fan of the show and find every season to have its good and bad parts. However, season 2 is when we meet Freya and learn so much more about the Mikaelsons through flashbacks; old characters like Esther, Mikael, Kol and Finn are brought back which adds layers to the complicated family history; Dahlia is a great villain; Hayley has a decent sub-plot and I like her dynamic with Jackson and Hope brings an innocence to the show without stealing too much focus.
Least favourite season: Season 5
Season 4 was bad, but season 5 was awful. I can barely remember anything about it, it was so terrible. All I know is that Hayley was cruelly and unfairly killed which was a huge disservice to her character and the finale was one of the worst finale’s of any show I’ve ever seen. By making the whole show about Klaus and Elijah, it completely lost everything that made it great. The Originals was never supposed to be just about Klaus or just about the sibling relationship between Klaus and Elijah, it was supposed to be about the Mikaelsons. It will always frustrate me that a show that had so much promise and emphasis on family ended so poorly.
Thanks for asking, lovely! These asks are fun to answer :)

I guess the least popular LIs are always someone who doesn’t have a lot of attention in the book, like Shane, he was barely there, writers didn’t give him justice, it sucks. Btw the only female LI who won over males is Sonia from TH:M as it seems even though she was totally paywalled
I think that is often true, it is definitely easier to romance the LIs who is central to the story. I don’t think I realized how much until Bloodbound when Jax would disappear for weeks at a time, which was the first time I tried romancing a less present LI (well except Diavolos, but TC&TF was in it’s final chapters when I started playing, so I was able to play the first 13 chapters at once).
One of the reasons I didn’t like The Heist was that the LIs were barely there. They had few scenes and there was almost no moments with them. Sonia at least had an interesting story arc and the dynamic between her and hte MC was amazing. However, I wanted to romance Fabian and I barely got to know him and the diamond scenes I got were incredibly underwhelming.
A lot of it is a writing issue, that they don’t give attention to certain LIs and people get bored and frustrated and choose the easy to romance LI and you can usually tell within a couple chapters who that will be. Now that LI isn’t always the most popular and sometimes I think LIs end up surprising the writers, like Antony being pretty even with Cassius, and they adapt, but it’s hard to be invested in a charades you never see and who isn’t given depth and that is on the writets for not creating their love interests equally.

Ronda Rousey [ENG]
Here we are. Some time ago, I asked what were your thoughts or opinions about Ronda Rousey and you answered several times. Before we talk about her, though, let's take a little recap: Ronda Rousey is "an American professional wrestler, actress, author, mixed martial artist and judoka. She is currently signed to WWE, performing on the Raw brand, where she is the current Raw Women's Champion in her first reign. " (via Wikipedia) and "Rousey has been credited for breaking down several hurdles regarding female mixed martial arts sports, as well as challenging barriers. She has been regarded as a symbol of female empowerment, and has been praised for she became one of the highest pay-per-view draws in the world Rousey was described by Fox Sports as "one of the defining athletes of the 21st century." (via Wikipedia). She joined WWE in 2017/18, so it's been more than a year that she has been in the business of World Wrestling Entertainment: in this very short space of time she did a lot, winning the Raw Women's Championship against Alexa Bliss at SummerSlam. This has attracted criticism, even on my part, since there was actually no real construction of Ronda: she was based solely on her charisma outside the WWE. Ronda Rousey could be called a non-character: she doesn’t have a gimmick, she doesn’t actually have a construction but she’s based almost exclusively on the charisma that she has built over the years in the world of MMA, and in part inspired by the gimmick (but very partly) by Rowdy Roddy Piper. The situation has become increasingly controversial with the feud against Becky Lynch, the subsequent inclusion of Charlotte Flair in the match, the Royal Rumble, the heel turn. And we will talk about this today. Almost all of those who answered me have generally defined her "overrated", "disrespectful" and even "dangerous". Let's start with an interesting answer from @theonelazywolf. "I'm saying this with out any fear Ronda needs to go She has been given everything in the wwe with out having to work for it She keeps saying SHE put the women in the main event of WM she didnt She can't talk on the mic she cant talk over booing crowds There is more but im falling asleep" Another interesting answer was this "I don’t hate ronda at all , I actually appreciate everything she did outside of WWE. but that is my problem , everything she did OUTSIDE of WWE .in wwe she is a rookie but she is not being treated as a rookie , for some reason wwe treat her like a returning legend or something, she can barely cut a promo and she can’t call a match in the ring and doesn’t know how to deal with the crowd or what to do if shit went south or off script , yet for some reason she is main eventing Wrestlemania. Also the whole shoot promo she did , was one of the biggest slaps on the face ever. Not because she said it , but because that was actually wwe’s way of getting heat on her. Basically what I’m saying is that wwe is bringing these ufc fighters who have credibility with non wrestling fans and instead of using that credibility to get more fans , they make them come , beat the shit out of everyone, tell the world that wrestling is fake and that these people aren’t real athletes , then they take millions and leave. The ronda Rousey situation is making an embarrassment out of the wrestling world. Wwe don’t show any respect for there wrestlers and wonder why the rest of the world doesn’t respect them. While I’m at it, it’s Wrestlemania 35, it’s 2019, and people like Batista, HHH , shane mcmahon have matches , yet the SD women’s champ don’t yet , the raw tag champs don’t yet , two members of the shield don’t yet , and more and more and more names of hard working deserving young talents don’t." from @emanmagdy1 Others argue instead that Ronda is excessively dangerous in the ring, citing cases of injuries such as that of Alexa Bliss (who had some concussions). What comes out of these answers, therefore, is not so much the fact that she is not good, because Ronda is really good, but that she has focused too much on her charisma by neglecting essential elements such as the construction of promos, the character and above all what she said against the WWE and generally against wrestling. Here an essential question arises, does WWE need Ronda Rousey? It seems so, as pointed out in the answers: she didn’t have a period of time at NXT (such as Shayna; Marina and Jessa) she was immediately included in the title picture with Nia Jax and then they used an opponent like Alexa Bliss to give credibility around her. Nothing new in fact, the same thing happened with Brock Lesnar on his return but the difference lies in the absurd speed with which it was done, as well as the different background. Moreover, the feud Rousey/Lynch/Flair didn’t help the construction of Ronda, if anything it worsened it: storyline too heavy, with extreme overbooking, up to almost ridiculous (with the totally random inclusion of Travis, Rousey’s husband) not actually allowing the viewer to fully understand the whole storyline, with consequent confusion and finally the typical turn heel of the UFC fighter that relies on the criticism that is always made to those who follow wrestling from those who are totally strangers to them, that is “wrestling is fake.". A obvious turn, in my opinion, perhaps not necessary as the two people I mentioned before point out (because this is also questioning Brock Lesnar himself, a former UFC fighter too) but maybe this turn heel would have been good outside of this storyline. Maybe it would have worked more. At this time, this feud has lost its meaning because it is based too much on the charisma of Rousey and above all on the constant need of the WWE to make people talk about themselves. And they’re succeeding. To the detriment of those who have been working there for years, those who don't have an opportunity despite fighting to get it. What then emerges from this whole situation is not so much a criticism of Ronda Rousey as a person or a wrestler, but a criticism against WWE that points in an excessively obsessive way on an idealized character of Rousey who, perhaps, never existed in WWE. A criticism that shifts to meritocracy, to emphasize that, perhaps, it would be more appropriate to focus on those who grew up within the business and let go of the UFC figters in part in order to allow them to settle well, create a character, remaining coherent with what they do and still have strong credibility (like Shayna), not just focusing on something idealized. We note therefore that the criticisms are not really on Rousey, but on how the WWE is using it and on the policy it adopts with her: giving opportunities, giving a title without construction and totally relying on the concept that "UFC fighters> WWE athletes". Perhaps the basic problem therefore is not Rousey herself but the politics of WWE. I begin to believe that what the WWE Universe really wants is not so much the media exposure, not so much an extreme storyline, but as an enhancement of those who have been there for the longest time, with a downsizing of the athletes who come from UFC.
I hope you enjoyed this presentation of mine, I thank all those who answered. If you liked it, I can continue to do this kind of thing, talking about various themes, always in double language English / Italian. At next!
