Tips for homestead living

Homesteading is a lifestyle focused on self-sufficiency and self-reliance. Some tips for living a homesteading lifestyle include:

Start small and build gradually. You can only overhaul your entire lifestyle on time. Start by growing vegetables in a small garden or keeping a few chickens for eggs.

Learn new skills. Homesteading requires a wide range of skills, from gardening and animal husbandry to carpentry and cooking. Consider taking classes or workshops to learn new skills to help you on your homestead.

Could you develop a plan? Before you start making any major changes to your lifestyle, it's essential to have a plan in place. This should include a budget, a list of goals, and a timeline for achieving them.

Be self-sufficient. Homesteading is all about being self-sufficient and relying on your own resources. This means growing your own food, generating energy, and producing your own goods and services.

I want you to please be prepared for challenges. Homesteading is not always easy, and there will be challenges. Be ready for these challenges by having a backup plan and being willing to adapt and adjust as needed.

Connect with other homesteaders. Homesteading can be a lonely lifestyle if you try to do it all on your own. Consider joining a homesteading community or association to connect with other like-minded individuals who can provide support, advice, and friendship.

AGH FASHION DESIGNER SUGURU AND MODEL SATORU W A NEW INTERN DESIGNER UNDER THEIR WING 😞😞☹️ - 🌺

WAHHHH I LOVE THIS 🥺🥺🥺 the pining and flirting and slowburn of it all… model!satoru and his favorite designer suguru geto, both of them undeniably skilled and born with an eye for fashion….. well-known and adored……..

designer!suguru who gets tasked with showing you the ropes, who’s always so patient and kind despite your inexperience. diligent with his teaching but also so laidback, so easy to talk to… he looks intimidating, but he’s so polite that you can’t help but swoon a little. and he admires your enthusiasm so much…… grows fond of you soooo quickly bc you’re just such a breath of fresh air compared to the divas he’s forced to work with all the time. he thinks you’ve got real potential and he wants to nurture it.

and ofc you end up running into model!satoru eventually…. bc he’s always hanging around suguru whenever he gets the chance. and he’s maybe a little jealous that you’re hogging so much of his personal designer’s attention, but… he also thinks you’re so cute . T_T like a little puppy following suguru around… so excited to be apart of what you’ve dreamed of for so many years……… he looks into your eyes and sees the same sparkle he had before he made it big, and it makes his heart race.

yeah . i’m just thinking abt the peaceful coffee breaks with suguru….. how he’d insist on paying for your drink, ”since he’s your senior” (he wants to be your favorite </3)…… and how he’d just be so protective over his little intern. don’t get me started on the close proximity with satoru when you’re taking his measurements, the glance and smile he sends your way during an impromptu shoot… the way he always calls for you with a sweet coo of ”how’s my favorite intern doing today?”

seeing a lot of posts about being prepared to avoid fandom discourse this time around and while I will also be bobbing and weaving that bullshit, let's also make it a point to gear up and watch out for the bigotry and abuse that will inevitably come to light--and not to avoid it, but to actively participate in making fandom a hostile place for it to thrive.

challenge your friends when they say something transphobic on the discord server. ask your fave if they meant to whitewash that character in their art. watch for harmful tropes and stereotypes in the fic (and source material!) that you read. when other people bring it up, don't dismiss it as discourse. most importantly, when trans people, disabled people, LGBTQ+ people, people of color, and victims of abuse share their experiences, listen.

August’s big thing is actually something they did many times already, but in the comfort of their own environment. This time, Allura booked their performance, one of her favorites, for a party - proud friend as she was, never shutting up about how many competitions they won her.

The standing ovation they get, seems accurate for the work they both put into getting there.

Keychain Update! <-

The batch came into me a few days ago, only for the majority, if not all of them to have a printing error! Some have it more prominent and/or in different locations but they all appear to have a faint white outline to them, which the initial batch did not have.

I contacted the company to have the batch remade, here is hoping they can get a new batch to me soon with no errors!

Apologies for the shipping delay this will cause, but I thought it would be better than giving you all anything faulty. In exchange I am also giving you all a little surprise bonus sticker :)

I cannot give an exact ship date at the moment, I will update you all, and send them out as soon as I can!

In the meanwhile... I need to look into options for adopting out all these B-grades..... so.... so many of them.......
