2021-2025 progress

thinking abt nettle and i as a team over these last few years and getting emotional about how much we have both grown and changed and Got Better. neither of us have anyone else. she doesn’t have another handler and i don’t have another sport dog. she put up with my shitty throwing for the first couple of years and i put up with her learning how to catch (and still hopping the easiest throws for some reason?!?). she used to scream a every time she would leave from the car at a disc event and now she only screams when we’re at the line. she doesn’t flatten me when we do back vaults anymore. whenever we do do catches or flip catches, she never hesitates because she knows ill catch her.

shes the dog ill spend my entire life chasing just to have that feeling of learning through something new and exciting with.
