the most powerful thing i've done is convince my mother that my binder is a "modesty bra" sjfhekdjdjfhjdj i fully have that woman believing that this is a common thing among my classmates who like to dress modestly, which inspired me to follow that trend. i've been telling her this since ~2014 and she still says "i washed your bra for you ^_^" when she washes my binder for me

I loveee the concept of reincarnation bc it’s just so comforting!!!
oh to be reincarnated lovers with Bakugou where you find each other every life time and leave a memory of the other to find in the next lifetime. You see each other in a new lifetime, drawn to each other, swearing familiarity even though your minds disagree. But it’s something deeper within you that knows each other, misses the others embrace, and you can’t figure out why.
There’s a famous painting of someone who looks suspiciously like you made in the 1600s by some tortured artist, the muse a lover he had lost years before. There’s a statue that looks just like Bakugou from the 1800s, who everyone thought to be created after Apollo, but you beg to differ. There are letters found between two lovers, one gone off to war and the other at home, their exchange of love something poets discuss in contemporary times. Theres even skeletons found embracing each other, with one’s head tucked into the others neck.
And for some reason, every time, these figments of love appeal to you deeper than anyone else around you. They’re so familiar, and you think you might be going crazy when flashes of memories start to plague you.
Sitting in a darkly lit room, a slate of white marble in front of you, a point chisel in hand. There’s a blond man sitting behind the marble, with a sly grin, as your hands raise to start chipping away at its flawless perfection.
Sitting at home, writing away with a quilled pen to a lover you miss. Kissing the edge of the paper and pulling away to find it stained with red from your lips.
Laying in the soft grass, your face hidden in a strong neck as heavy winds start to take over you. Your arms entangled in another’s, tilting your face up to kiss a blond, stubbled jaw.
When Bakugou tells you he remembers the same things, you wonder if you’re both just on a bad trip from a drug you don’t remember taking. But you carve your names in tree trunks and wonder if you’ll find find it again hundreds of years later, if you’ll see him again, if you’ll create another piece of your unyielding love on every crevice of the earth.

Wonder on 75 Park Avenue (dp x dc)
Diana is working. The night is dark and cold, and as she turns to look out the window, she thinks once again of her island. It never was so cold on Themyscira. Winters in New York have a way of sinking to your soul.
In the quietude of her office, knocks on the door seem all the louder, and tonight is no exception. Diana stands and walks to the door, where she opens it to find a young man, still a child but on the cusps of adulthood.
"What can I do for you?" Diana asks.
"I didn't know where else to go," the boy says, and she can see bruises under his pale blue eyes. "I'm sorry, I-I need your help, please."
"Tell me," she says, as she looks behind the boy for any sign of trouble, but they are alone on the street.
"My younger sister," the boy starts. "She's in trouble and I don't know what to do."
"Come in," Diana says as she opens the door wider. "Let us talk inside."
In the cold dark night, the figure of a boy, almost a man, walks into the warm inviting light of the building.
A few seconds later, the door closes behind him, and the street is once again bathed in shadow, frozen by the hour and the chill.

Idk who needs to hear this but to anyone making a comic or visual series of any kind, don't wait until your art style is "just right" to start. Just do it.
Idc if the art is rough or beginner or whatever skill level as long as the story is good. Tell your stories and do it with pride no matter what!

When Katsuki Bakugo needed saving, Izuku came up with a plan where Todoroki, Iida, and Kirishima went rocketing across the sky to reach him.
When Izuku Midoriya needed saving, it was Katsuki, Todoroki, and Iida who went rocketing across the sky to reach him.
Both times, our Twin Stars decided to set their own needs aside and allow the other’s trusted friend to take the lead in bringing them home. Izuku knew Kirishima was the right choice to get Katsuki away from the league quickly and safely, and Katsuki knew Iida was the better man for the job of catching up to Izuku and bringing him back.
Can we please just take a moment to appreciate the parallels. Please.

i love how we collectively characterize mike and jesse's relationship as sweeter and closer than it really was because it's not really our fault, its just that the bar for Treating Jesse was set so impossibly low that mike clearing it basically made him jesse's biological father by default. mike not boiling jesse's family and girlfriend and girlfriend's son in a giant comical pot of soup over an open flame was tantamount to signing adoption papers in the gilliganverse
