chapter 23 of @heavilycaffeinatedsblog’s silver bells almost made me tear up because of its coziness. so my hand slipped. also this version of instant crush was playing non stop while i was drawing. you can play it if you want it will give you an additional vibe

I think chapter 21 of @heavilycaffeinatedsblog's Silver Bells might be one of my favorite chapters. It was so fun seeing the whole group play white elephant and Keith's reaction to Lance's gift was adorable. The icing on the cake was the mistletoe scene and i had to draw it, so here it is. I also made an extra effort with this drawing because i felt like this scene deserved it.

if anything was going to get me in the christmas spirit it was definitely silver bells by heavily_caffeinated you should totally read it right neeoow

side note i think this will be my last post with this style for a while. as much as i love painting them it doesn't feel like the type of approach i want to take with my art now. who knows, maybe i'll revisit it next year. happy holidays everyone! :)

i had to draw this scene from chapter 11! I've never seen snow much less played in it, and this chapter made me want to buy a baby pool and slide down the hill with it. Maybe one day i will, who knows?

What a foolish sentiment to get hung up on. Keith, brave and hot-tempered pilot of the Red Lion, Paladin of Voltron, couldn’t decide how to give a Christmas gift. Never mind that. He didn’t have the time for this. No really—it was difficult enough for him to fit three meals into a day, Keith didn’t have the extra leisure time to go window shopping between evading blasts from enemy ships. - When Keith overhears Lance talking about Christmas, he makes it his mission to get him a Christmas gift. He will soon find out that gift giving is not his forte.
