This summer's theme was definitely "teeth." First I found Hericium americanum, or "bear's head tooth fungus." I almost got roughed up by a gang of lady deer while taking the pictures, idk it looked like they were snacking on some vegetation nearby and didn't appreciate my hovering? Uncharacteristic, bizarre behavior though I do love the idea of a really bad horror movie directed by M. Night Shyamalan where the premise is New Jersey deer evolving into vicious apex predators. It's called "Deer Lord" and is a commentary on absolutely nothing.

Also the largest hedgehog mushroom I've ever seen! Could be Sarcodon imbricatus or Hydnellum scabrosum
