Fungus I saw today in my home village - Halloween 2024
Candlesnuff fungus (Xylaria hypoxylon). These things are technically bioluminescent, but it's so faint it's not usually visible to the human eye

Some kind of jelly fungus, perhaps Crystal brain fungus (Exidia nucleata)
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Leaf parachutes (Marasmius epiphyllus)

These thangs (Daldinia concentrica)

Not sure what these were, maybe damaged Deceivers (Laccaria laccata) They're called this because they can be many different shapes and colours, making them difficult to identify.

Wrinkled club (Clavulina rugosa)

Milking bonnets (Mycena galopus)

Sadly no fly agaric today, I know they do grow around my hometown but I didn't see any this time

laccaria amethystina also known as amethyst deceiver or amethyst laccaria is a small purple mushroom, though the colour can fade or weather making it difficult to properly identify, has a close relationship to laccaria laccata, known also as deceiver and lacklustre laccaria. it belongs to the hydnangiaceae family with the genus laccaria. while it is edible with a lack of taste, it can absorb arsenic from the soil so maybe don't pick one and eat it. its usually found in central and south America and grows in tropical conditions.

mushroom on the new sketchbook :D
translation:
Laccaria Laccata, Deceiver
Edible, found in Europe and North America. Can have variable shapes (that's why Deceiver lol), having orangy and red-ish colours when still young. The more colourless and dull, the older it is!

Bit difficult to ID from this pic. Thinking maybe Hygrocybe marginata or Laccaria laccata.

These are decievers! Laccaria laccata, a pretty good edible, and absolutely beautiful when they mature and their caps start to undulate all golden orange like this.聽
