#finally got my enclosure set up for my blue tongue!!!!!!!! or i should say Mostly set up XBVMXJGD #currently we have a few inches of substrate (obviously) with some leaf litter on top #a few plants #a hot hide with a lil basking area #a really neat cool hide #and i threw a habba hut in there too #i need to get some rocks but i'm gonna get those from my gramma's river i think?#and i need some more plants And some more substrate bc i didn't have as much as i thought i would #nonetheless though i think that stuff can wait since i'm getting him tomorrow #and i don't wanna overwhelm him by decorating his cage while he's still settling in yknow JSDKGSDG #it looks pretty good so far though!!!!! i'm so excited :3

#to be or not to be. that is the question #ty adam for being my model for dramatic vampire moment #musings on the thinkings about:#when to live you are required to hurt others. you must repeatedly ask yourself what the value of your life is #To sleep... perchance to dream...#ah. I had a lot more while I was drawing this but I guess I put them in the painting LOL #reading that soliloquy and being like damn this is just like vampires #the reality of course is that the soliloquy is a debate over suicide and ultimately making the choice to live #even if just out of fear of the unknown #and vampires are about dying and then in undeath choosing to continue to live #despite the fear of eternity and loneliness and hurting others #theyre not the same. but like let me thiiink come onnnn I'm allowed to thiiink and have incomplete thoughts #I would have to write like a proper essay about this to organize my thoughts. this is the tags on a tumblr post.#anyways finished episode 79 #working on patreon stickers for this month (and next month soon)#and working on book 4. taking a pause from episodes cause I've got 3 weeks of buffer now... I want to be cool, I really do. I wish I had that certain coolness mystique which cannot be quantified, the effortless swagger commanding attention and awe. listen i love and grow and appreciate native plants as much as any plant ecology nerd but good god the energy of a lot of native plant discussion on social media continues to be so............ much
