I'm curious how Buck and Tommy might reconcile. Since Tommy was the only one who witnessed Buck breaking down in the tunnel, maybe he'll be the one to make the first move and reach out to Buck, trying to support him. Buck is trying to support everyone now, following Bobby’s last words, and I hope Tommy would be there to support Buck in return. The flashback also reminded me of how connected Tommy is to the 118. I knew he had that connection, but seeing it being used in the story really surprised me. I feel like even Tim would be amazed that he created such a character.
I'm very curious as well, Nonnie. Because there are certain things I've seen/the series has shown us, that do paint a picture. We just don't fully see it yet. But, to put them somewhere:
As you mentioned, Tommy was the only one who witnessed Buck breaking down. And Buck is doing exactly what I thought he'd do, which is pushing down his grief in order to support everyone. My personal theory is that Buck will break once everyone is doing better and he finds himself with 'nothing' to do. At the very least, not being as useful as he must've been these weeks.
And, yes, I do expect the show to, to some degree, acknowledge that Tommy did see him break. Furthermore, Tommy has been the one character who, consistently, has clocked Buck's feelings and when he's hidden them. He's the one who's asked how he was doing when the 118 wouldn't ask him (I know during Maddie's kidnapping they had to focus on Chim, and I do not disagree. But I also think it's wild no one checked on her brother), and I don't know if that was deliberate, or a crazy coincidence. But it is there.
Speaking of Tommy, the flashback is very interesting, because they truly didn't need to include him in one, whatsoever. Now, I do find it funny when he say he wasn't needed, because as much as that is true, the opposite also rings true. Those scenes are needed because, ultimately, they are serving a purpose. And in this case:
It establishes Tommy as one of the OG members of the 118, and it's a subtle reminder to the audience that he served under Bobby, and that he was a member of the firehouse before Buck was.
It is potentially a segway for the show to have Tommy talk about Bobby, and how he influenced his life. The audience is reminded that Bobby was in Tommy's life pre-harbour, and so, when Tommy talks about him in the future, they will not find it out of place.
My personal favorite... it kinda adds to the red string theory a bit. Because Tommy saves Bobby. Tommy, inadvertently, gives Bobby eight more years. Just like in Season 7 he helps give Bathena one more year together. If Tommy hadn't been there, if he had not saved Bobby... the 118 as we know it would not exist. It was one thing to just put him in the flashback, but to have him saving Bobby? That's a whole other thing
Now, something that I thought could be small foreshadowing, but could totally be not:
In the conversation between Maddie and Buck, we hear the typical tell each other you love them before it's too late. Now, I am aware this is something commonly said in this type of storylines, but... the focus to Buck and the fact that we're still dealing with Bucktommy not communicating well, and being in a kind of limbo... I think could be some small foreshadowing of what could come.
There is no one, factually, that Buck needs to tell he loves them, except Tommy. No one he doesn't know where he stands with anyone other than Tommy. It might result in nothing, but that line seemed a bit pointed. And the small focus on Buck seemed very pointed, actually.
Also, if I were Tim, I would be patting myself on the back and treating myself to a nice dinner, because holy. It's almost unbelievable how he's managed (unintentionally at that) to weave Tommy into the narrative. He's haunting it since the beginning of the goddamn show (though this was added later). Like. I find it hard to believe still.
(not complaining though)

Okay, regarding the ask about necromancy on twst
I think about it a LOT, too much even.
When they talk about necromancy in Disney (in a way that I believe can be connected to twst), I think of some examples. I'm not sure if they're all necessarily necromancy, but they're kind of similar.
The first is Hades, the lord of the underworld and the movie Hercules. It has many references to the dead being brought back and souls, but this has also been used as a reference to overblot and phantoms. And considering book 6, I think it would mention how to bring someone back to life if it were possible.
The second is The Black Cauldron, whose object that gives the film its name has the power of an army of undead which, if I'm not mistaken, is referred to as necromancy. I'm just not sure if twst will continue to use necromancy as a metaphor for blot and phantoms and that this movie will be considered to be used for anything. Maybe there's actually some plot to explain the overblots? I'm not really sure about that one.
Chernabog, who has his demonic/undead servants/slaves. I also have the theory that he is directly linked to blot and overblot, which contributes to my headcannon that twst uses Disney's necromancy as a metaphor for blot in many cases.
And then there's Aladdin's Genie, who is never really made clear whether he can't physically revive the dead or if he doesn't like it because it goes horribly wrong. I not sure but think that if genies exist in TWIST, they would have magic working differently, so Blot and stuff would work differently for them too (if it exist at all). And then there's Nasira, Jafar's sister who is portrayed as being able to summon the dead and is referred to as a necromancer on the wiki. If I'm not mistaken, she's one of the few Disney characters who isn't compared to a deity who does this? I think Najma is inspired by her, so I wonder how interesting it would be if she was a mage with blot-related powers as her unique magic? But Nasira is from a very small game and Najma is an event character, so even if it did happen, which is almost impossible, it's even more impossible for it to be mentioned.
Well, my general theory is that Disney's necromancy is being adapted for Blot in TWST, and I'm looking forward to seeing how this connects to the game's references to death and whatever the hell is going on at this college.
Ignore the mistakes, I should be sleeping, so my head is confused and I'm using a translator)
[Referencing this post!]
I’m not going to be commenting on The Black Cauldron or Chernabog, since neither have lore that has been explicitly referenced or canonized in Twst. I do not want to confuse people by mixing up canon with what is purely fan theory/speculation.
I could be misremembering but 💦 the "Underworld” depicted in Twisted Wonderland isn’t directly associated with death/the souls of the dead like it is in Disney’s Hercules. Tartarus and the general S.T.Y.X. facility hold Phantoms captured for experimentation, including very powerful and ancient ones from the Age of the Gods. The implication may be that these Phantoms are all that remain of the mages that overblotted (ie the original mages are dead now and the Phantoms are all that remain of them), but the Phantoms themselves are not dead. I think the only truly dead one among them is Ortho, whose soul seems to have merged with the Phantoms in Tartarus, perhaps due to having died in this space.
There’s nothing which would indicate it would be possible to bring someone back from the Tartarus shown in Twst. (To begin with, I'm not sure if the Tartarus in S.T.Y.X. and the one in Hercules are one and the same.) The mages associated with each Phantom are no longer around; the Phantoms exist as separate entities that continue to exist long after their mage wiped out. This is also implied by how Idia panics in his post-OB flashback. He acts as though Ortho cannot be returned to him, so it doesn’t appear like reviving someone from the dead is possible. It’s not like Ortho’s spirit is swimming in a soul pool like how it is literally depicted in Hercules. Idia acts like Ortho is GONE gone—and, furthermore, his attempt to “bring Ortho back” by making an artificial intelligence earns him shock and ire from the S.T.Y.X. researchers around him. They behave as though this is wrong or shouldn’t be done, ethically speaking.

In Aladdin, the Genie states that he “[…] can’t bring people back from the dead. It’s not a pretty picture. I don’t like doing it!!” This implies to me that he technically could perform this magic, but refrains from doing so because the results aren’t desirable. Seeing as he takes on this grotesque appearance when describing the dead, maybe those he revives look… unappealing?? Or somehow are not brought back “whole”/are missing integral parts of their original personalities??

I believe genies are mentioned a few times, mostly by Jamil. For example, he calls Azul his “genie in a lamp” in book 3 and, in one of his Chats, says, “What am I, the genie of the lamp?” He also mentions the three wishes thing and how the Sorcerer of the Sands sought a magic lamp and eventually ascended as a genie himself. But we don’t know how genies work outside of that or how their magic may differ (if at all) from that of a mage. Since Jamil speaks about “the” genie of “the” lamp, it’s possible he is specifically referring to Aladdin’s Genie and thus canonizing the Genie’s rules. In The Return of Jafar, we learn that genie form Jafar is also bound “by the rules of the lamp”, which prevents him from killing others. This is the first of Genie’s rules, so we can assume the other two rules also apply to Jafar + other genies. Not sure if this is also the case for genies in Twst canon, but this might be important to consider.
There’s no official confirmation that Najma is twisted from Nasira (Jafar’s fraternal twin sister), but many fans assume that’s who she must be referencing. It’s not clear whether Najma is a mage or not though. I’d say there’s a chance she could have future appearances 🤷♀️ After all, Kifaji was introduced to us via a hometown event and then became relevant again in book 7.
Really not sure about the blot being related to necromancy thing, especially as it relates to Najma, One’s unique magic is deeply tied to the mage’s identity—and there is nothing about Najma which would suggest to me that she would be invested much in blot or necromancy?? If you stretched it, maybe you could argue she cares about her older brother and becomes interested in alleviating blot to ensure that Jamil isn’t put at risk of OBing again…? But she doesn’t know about that incident at all since Azul stopped it from spreading. It’s also assuming a lot of Najma’s character when we barely know her.
As much fun as it is to theorize about Crowley wanting to collect blot stones to revive the Great Seven/his theoretical dead wife or what have you, I don’t think there’s strong enough evidence to link blot (what is essentially a general magic byproduct) with reviving the dead. It feels like sort of a stretch, especially since blot is shown to be caustic and harmful to living beings, rather than regenerative. No one in the Twst-verse acts as though bringing the dead back is possible, not even the organization that literally researches blot and has access to all of the best technology. (Ortho is a special case and lies outside of the purview of this.)
At the end of book 7, Lilia is able to be brought back from death through (I kid you not) the power of love. Malleus and Silver wished very hard and used the magic in Malleus's broken off horn + Silver's ring to give life back to Lilia. However, everyone being shocked by this indicates to me that it's not a normal occurrence and not something thought to have been possible before.
I’d be willing to consider the theory, but only if there’s something more concrete than largely pulling from Disney films. What is true in a Disney film is not necessarily translated 1:1 or always borrowed in Twst, so I’m wary of just copy pasting lore from Disney over. (Some examples: Ursula has a younger sister but Azul is an only child, iron hurts fae and greatly weakens their magic in Maleficent but fae are not harmed or weakened by iron in Twst; they only find the smell offensive.)

[DOMAYSTIC DAY: 1] Fraud — SDV (Shane)

— ✧ pairing: Shane / F!Reader — ✧ genre: SFW / hurt&comfort — ✧ word count: 1,450 — ✧ warnings: vague mental health discussion — ✧ synopsis: Rain patters hard against the shared bedroom window, an overcast day that feels apt for his current mood today.
— ✧ A/N: love being pushed out of my comfort zone, in both topic/genre, and character! i hope this is nice and comforting :D! — ✧ domaystic masterlist

Rain patters hard against the shared bedroom window, an overcast day that feels apt for his current mood today.
At this rate, he supposes even the ground he currently stares down at would be infinitely more interesting than anything he himself has to offer, glaring back at him with assumed insignificance— it’s easier to avoid your well intentioned kindness when he’s forcing himself to gaze back into the boring void between his feet.
But at least the creaky floorboards under his anxiously tapping foot has a use. Can at least offer you something other than avoidance and complaints, providing support as opposed to further burdening.
You’re currently talking to him, but he hardly hears a thing. Too busy tracing the lines in the wood below, up and down, like a sickly mantra of woe. It does very little to calm him down, evident from how hard his leg still yet bounces in place. Not quite a panic attack yet, but on its way, he thinks. Spurred on by… Waking up, maybe? Existing is souring, sometimes. A deep sadness rooted in his very bones that are heavier some days than others. This, too, is another reason as to why you should probably leave him for good. Go be with someone better, someone easier to love… It’s what you deserve, and he truly fucking believes in the pit of his upset stomach, that you deserve literally anyone but him.
Him, a fucking fraud.
He feels as though he was born to be sad or something. Incapable of feeling more than a fleeting moment of joy a day— despite being surrounded by it. In the face of it, currently, kneeling before him to try and grab his idle attention away from the much more interesting ground. And it’s difficult to swallow the lump in his throat that screams: Being with me is punishment! This is dirty work!
But he does admire your persistence, at the very least. As undeserving as he feels, as good as you are.
Dissociation grips him tightly, almost suffocating to the point that he’s unaware of your previous words, only tuning in now because your bright beaming face enters his vision and he’s forced to confront his fears head on. Which isn’t so bad, not when it’s with you, he suddenly finds out.
“I’m here for you, Shane. Tell me what’s wrong, I wanna help…”
Unfortunately, he finds your voice to be the most soothing sound in the world. A cold cloth pressed against his burning insides, heart stuttering with the tight chest his nerves constrict him with. If only it were so easy to pinpoint exactly why he feels so… So… nonexistent. A waste of space, taking up too much of your time and sight just by sitting there, dumbly staring down at the same old wood he’s walked on thousands of times before in your old farmhouse, and feeling like a complete and utter waste. Of time, of space, of affections. And besides, how does one condense the completely lack of will to remain out of fear of wasting. Frauding his sad excuse of a life. How can he communicate that he no longer wants to continue such a fraudulent life— because you deserve better.
But also, how he feels entirely incapable of being the kind of better you should rightfully want.
The weight of the world piles on his tired shoulders, causing them to droop some more in shame. As if he were trying to curl in on himself completely, hiding away from just how much he loves you, and how lucky he is to have someone like you; someone who keeps trying in spite of his obvious failures.
“You’re allowed to struggle.” You painfully remind him when he fails to even respond, and he struggles to swallow that same lump in his throat this time. Choking on his upset, on the too much affection he regards you with, on how stupid he feels to still be struggling enough for you to plainly notice.
“I— I, uh…” His voice immediately cracks, showing bare the pain and the embarrassment and the fear he so often wears. And swallowing doesn’t help this time, not when you look at him with such utter patience. A mutual understanding, he knows deep down, but he can’t help disliking it in the moment. Because to be seen is to be vulnerable, and he feels too soft, so squishy under your adoring gaze— he doesn’t deserve it.
He does the only thing he feels capable of doing right now, which is to take a deep breath as a means to try and steel his nerves; still yet, he’s unable to meet your gaze.
It doesn’t really help anyway. It never does.
“I’m not a very good person.” He eventually admits after some staring, but even this doesn't feel good to get off his chest.
“Then don’t be. You don’t have to be good.” You’re quick to reassure him, and even that is difficult to accept.
“I want to be,” He confesses, though he doesn’t want to. “For you, I mean.”
“You have my permission not to be,” Your hands cup his cheeks with your words, and his eyes squeeze shut instinctively— an attempt to quell the tears that line his lashes. “All you gotta do is simply be. I love you, not your good days solely.”
He scoffs, not because he isn’t genuinely fucking thankful to hear you dissuade his instinctual fears with such simple words, but because he feels unable to accept them himself. In a way that feels meaningful, that is. A thick swallow later, a brief choke now, and more words are spilling from his wobbly lips in response.
“It’s tough though, isn’t it?” He finally lifts his head, just a little, to meet your gaze. His expression immediately softens upon seeing your pretty smile— but just as soon as he grows fonder, his heart races with more upset. You’re so pretty, and I’m— “It must be hard trying to love someone like me.”
The gentle grip you have of his cheeks grows a little stronger, more secure in his self loathing. Like you’re attempting to communicate you need not be so strong, that’s why I’m here to help. And he could cry, honestly, at the small difference in strength. How you so easily hold him up when his feet beg to drag him further under.
“Oh, Shane…” You sigh, and he almost worries than you’re finally seeing him for the fraudster he truly is. So this is it, he thinks to himself.
But you go beyond his expectations, as per usual. Keeping your tone light and loving when you rub a thumb across his cheek, ignoring the way tears start to spill down to stain your hand with his sadness. “You cannot heal through shame,” You so gently remind him. “Moving forward is difficult, I know… But you can start smaller!”
He hates how weak and trembly his voice sounds when he whispers a meek little how, eager to learn, but obscured to the so called future you so easily, and apparently, envision with him.
“Something easier,” You kiss his forehead, and the kind actions is enough to have him shake with tears. “Like not going back.” Another kiss, pressed lightly against his cheek, right where your thumb smooths love over. “I know that it might be difficult to feel happy,” You stress with another kiss, on his other cheek this time, and he’s unable to stop his tears from flowing now. “So don’t push or rush yourself. Simply feeling neutral is easier, right?” He nods along frantically, his hands gripping onto your wrists as if they were the last thing anchoring him to life itself. His own personal life saving jacket. “Try not to stress, you have all the time in the world. I want to be by your side through it all, I promise.”
“But—” he attempts to persuade you otherwise as comes naturally, to run for the hills whilst you still have the chance. But you cut him off, refusing to listen to his desperate pleas for solitude.
Because you know him better than he understands himself. And he doesn’t know how he’ll ever be able to thank you enough.
“Trust me, Shane. Respect that I’m capable of making my own decisions, and I’ve decided that I want you. Always, always, always. No matter if you’re feeling good or bad, everything will be okay. And if it isn’t, we’ll repeat ourselves until it is.”
It might be raining today, but you’re always there to remind him that the sun will still shine tomorrow. It’ll still rise, and he’ll still want to see it.
With you, always.

Oh man, I am LOVING all of the Saw parallels to the other characters in episode five.
There's Saw and Luthen, both of whom are starting to truly lose it after 16 years fighting against the Empire, who are tired and broken and still fighting because that's all they CAN do anymore.
There's Saw and Bix, traumatized from horrific experiences at the hands of the Empire and having to manage the lifelong aftereffects with drug use that could continue to alter them from the people they used to be.
There's Saw and Cassian, both cannon fodder who we KNOW won't make it to see the Empire fall. They're the only two characters in this show we know for certain will die before the end of the Empire (it's likely that the rest of them will, too, but we don't actually know if they do or not yet). Their entire purpose is to burn in an explosion that helps the rest of the rebellion continue, and they know it.
And then there's Saw and Mon Mothma, since she's the ONLY character who we know DOES survive to see the Empire fall. She's the only one here who ISN'T just fuel for the cause, the only one whose purpose isn't to be burnt up for a sunrise she'll never see. Saw doesn't even expect to see his own goals realized, while Mon Mothma is off still fighting for a Republic that doesn't even exist because she refuses to give up hope that she can bring it back somehow.

it fills me with unfathomable pleasure when i am compared to things and characters, to be referred to using adjectives, to be called by my name. i am trapped in a hell in which only ghosts exist. i hardly feel i exist, i wander through the walls of the home i died in looking for someone to see me. to perceive me. my parents look into my eyes and perceive the wall behind me. there are no colours or songs here. it is a dream i can not escape - one ive grown deeply bored by, surrounded by the only monsters i dont find beautiful.
please hold me in your arms, stare into my eyes, and tell me what you see. dont stop looking until you’re finished, if you truly see me, you will be haunted by me forever. i will never let you go, in body or mind. i don’t want to be the only one haunted by myself, so like any other ghost, i’ll make you remember me through fear.

""freaky and creepy" to the extent a girl can look freaky and creepy while still being cute and desirable" YOU'RE RIGHT AND YOU SHOULD SAY IT!!! Even in an indie project that wouldn't face the same design/story restrictions as larger companies with execs looming over their shoulders and micro-managing every decision in a cold, calculated manner, they STILL fall into the trap of allowing the male characters to be as wild and whacky as they can possibly be whilst the only Girl still has to look and act a certain way because... she's the Girl One. I can understand how some people could miss the inherent misogyny here because yeah admittedly That Pilot does have some pretty cool visuals and neat animation and it might not jump out at you from the first watch, but it is so endlessly frustrating once you see through it and realise it's yet another example to add to the pile. Can we get some REAL unhinged crazy freak women who are allowed to not look like marketable dolls or are we all out. did you check the back. can you check the back.
actually you know what I'll go ahead and answer these. why not
real as hell we need more freak women and the monster high doll format isn't cutting it + I think the thing you bring up here that I'm the most interested in talking about is the discussion irt this being an Independent project but still falling for the same trappings of industry productions. this connects to my larger issues with the indie animation scene in general where even though the work is entirely independent and Not beholden to restrictions/changes made or suggested by a team of executives who are trying to secure Advertising Money through the broadest appeal possible, the people who make the indie art are still.... making that art with the language of the existent industry. like animation is so deeply entrenched in the world of advertising that people don't know how to make stories any other way.
and to a degree it's difficult to say how to truly get away with that, because then you run into questions like... is trying to make a story that appeals to people literally at all a matter of "advertising language"? how do you garner a big enough audience to materially support your project if you're making work that might not look like it's going to catch the attention of the largest common denominator? there's a lot of balancing acts to consider, artistic integrity (or maybe just "making something with actual fucking substance") and being able to Eat and Pay Your Workers have always been in contention with one another under capitalism or otherwise under a market structure... but I personally believe there will always be an audience for stuff that is truly different or daring, and that That is the type of work that is remembered in the long term. hang on let me pull out scott mccloud "understanding comics" excerpt

I really need to print this out and hang it up on my wall one of these days

Part 4: Driven by Desire. Fire and Speed
"Champion. Wife. Woman who loved too deeply - and almost lost everything."
Finally together. Under the flash of cameras, rings on their fingers, ready to face the world.
But life shows no mercy. A devastating loss. Pain. Silence. And then - the crash that takes her memory and him.
But love - true love - does not vanish. It waits.
This is a story of returning - to oneself, to the heart, to home.
And of learning that true happiness isn't found on the podium… but in the arms of those who never stopped believing.

My first time sending an ask. Do you have headcanons about how your asoiaf faves keep their pubes?
~ 🐞
HEADCANON: How my ASOIAF favorite male characters keep their pubic hairs

PRE-HOTD, HOTD & GOT VERSIONS
(this includes Maegor I Targaryen, Baelon Targaryen, Aemond Targaryen, Aegon II Targaryen, Jaime Lannister, Ned Stark)
— type: smut, light dark (Aegon's part)
— tags/warnings: oral sex mentioned, deepthroating mentioned, kinda sadist!Aegon II Targaryen, canon divergence (?). english is not my first language.
— author's note¹: Anon, tysm for your ask 💕💕 I loved to write these headcanons hahahah btw, I felt free to write them based on what I imagine, so I'm not taking the shows too much into consideration...
— author's note²: This is the male characters version, but I'm thinking about write one of these about HOTD female characters too 🤔🤔 or at least a random hc about their boobs anyway lmaooo sorry I'm so gay for them 😭😭
❥ ASOIAF headcanons • HOTD masterlist • Game of Thrones masterlist
❥ about me • main masterlist
𝐏𝐑-𝐇𝐎𝐔𝐒𝐄 𝐎𝐅 𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐃𝐑𝐀𝐆𝐎𝐍
Maegor I Targaryen
• I don't think Maegor cares about that at all. He definitely has a lot of golden hairs there and doesn't mind trimming them.
• Sometimes it could be kinda uncomfortable to give him a head, but despite everything I thought it's sexy anyway. I think it's something that perfectly matches Maegor's look and personality, since he's a big and tough man...
• If you don't like pubes, so it wouldn't be very pleasurable for you to have sex with Maegor, at least if he wanted you to suck his cock. But if you like them or at least don't mind the amount, Maegor would be quite a good fuck.
Baelon Targaryen (Son of Jaehaerys I)
• In my opinion, Baelon doesn't have much pubic hair on his groin. I can see him as the type of man who definitely trims it often.
• Actually, I think he not only keeps them short, but he also prefers to keep his groin completely "clean", without any hair there.
• I know that hair and pubes aren't always with the same color. Anyway, I guess Baelon has pubes with a color similar to Maegor's, for example... more golden than silver.
𝐇𝐎𝐔𝐒𝐄 𝐎𝐅 𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐃𝐑𝐀𝐆𝐎𝐍
Aemond Targaryen
• Aemond keeps some hair there, but they're always very well trimmed. He doesn't like to shave them off completely so often... at the same time he also thinks it would be disgusting to have them too long.
• His pubes are light brown, not too dark, but not golden or silver either. Maybe it's because of the Hightower bloodline? I don't know.
• In my opinion, Aemond didn't care so much about trimming his pubes during the Dance of the Dragons, but before the war he focused a lot on keeping them short, clean and kinda pretty too.
Aegon II Targaryen
• Like Maegor, I think Aegon keeps a lot of hair there. He lets them grow, both because he's too nonchalant to trimming them, and also because he enjoys watching the whores choking on them when they're deepthroating his cock.
• His pubes are lighter than Aemond's, sometimes even looking kinda golden.
• When Aegon was a teenager, he liked to trim them because he thought he looked hot that way. As he grew older, he began to get lazier and enjoy the women's discomfort during the oral sex.
𝐆𝐀𝐌𝐄 𝐎𝐅 𝐓𝐇𝐑𝐎𝐍𝐄𝐒
Jaime Lannister
• Jaime is one of the few characters in GOT that I truly believe keeps his pubic hair almost non-existent, at least before the War of the Five Kings.
• Before, he kept his blond curls very short, the pubes' color matching with his hair's. Both during and after the War of the Five Kings, he didn't even have enough time to worry about them, so he just let them grow.
• I personally like these two versions, but I think Jaime with short pubes is sexier...
Ned Stark
• My main headcanon about Starks' pubes is that almost all of them have a lot of curly pubes, always brown or black. Ned is a good example of that.
• Probably Ned's are brown and he kept them shorter when he was younger, letting them grow longer when he got older.
• Anyway, I think it suits him and I genuinely find it very sexy and dilf too.

Turned one of my ocs, Eden Goodridge, into a madoka magica character!
My tablet is broken and i was too impatient and could not figure out how to draw her gavel on my phone lmao so here is what we are getting for now until i redraw her 😭
She's a murderous magical girl cult leader and i love her. Sharing her lore bc I'm obsessed with her.
Also base for the gem btw: https://www.deviantart.com/a1ice101/art/Soul-Gem-Lineart-V2-302887107
A kind, cutesy, and polite mystery writer, with an unexpected fascination with grotesque mystery stories. Eden portrays herself as a serene and thoughtful individual…almost unnervingly so. She always gives off an air of mystique, and seems to be analyzing everything around her, which it turns out is true, as she can read others with disturbingly accurate detail, and will psychoanalyze them to their faces. Eden talks enthusiastically about her writing, often seeming unaware…or maybe just unconcerned, about how creepy her musings can come off. She is a true Romantic and a huge escapist, dreaming of a better world than the one she lives in now, but is the opposite of naive—in fact, she is very aware of the fundamental issues of society, and hates those who cannot see the world for how it truly is. Eden is very cynical, and believes humans are sinful creatures who need a powerful authority figure to scare them into line. She has a superiority complex, believing herself to be better than most people, and believes that something must be done to cleanse the world of evil, but her cynicism has caused her to lose faith in humanity.
The only thing keeping her going is her dream of fostering connection between people and trying to make the world better the best she can.
Eden traveled to Japan to study English and linguistics, in hopes of becoming an English teacher in Japan, but she is finding it rather dull and dreams for more. She is only seeing more and more evil in the world and has begun to wonder if truly good people even can exist in a world with no “godly power reigning over it.
HISTORY
-Grew up Christian and went to Catholic school.
-Parents divorced when she was eight
-Her life was often a mess. She was picked on as a child and had bottled up emotions over her parent's divorce. She often had to switch houses and life felt unstable.
-She retreated to storytelling as a form of escapism
-As a fan of mystery stories, she became invested in true crime and real-life stories for her own research. Eden saw how cruel people could be firsthand as well.
-Over time, not only did she recognize the selfishness of average people, but also she started to see the corruption in society itself and how it drove people to crime. And, through reading and learning of history, she saw a cycle of abuse by the privileged 1% becoming corrupted by "sins" like pride and greed and finding scapegoats to violently oppress.
-Eden saw religion as a dirty tool used to oppress people as well, but also was fascinated by how much control it could put people under.
-Eden became extremely disillusioned with the world, and retreated even more into her books, using them as an outlet to spread her views. She ended up earning fame when she started publishing them. Her novels were praised for their characters, who were notably complex and morally gray, but also very twisted and violent. They all explored deep philosophical questions, and Eden was able to spread her viewpoints on society to like-minded people through her readers
In this AU, upon meeting Kyubey, Eden jumped at the opportunity to have the power to actually change the world. She wanted to punish those who got away with their crimes. Her wish was to have the power to cleanse the grief and suffering in the world. Her gavel creates holy light, and her ability is to see whether or not people are "sinners", along with the ability to take grief away from other magical girls at the cost of darkening her own soul gem. She kills both witches and anyone she deems a sinner, leaving messages from "The Angel of Death" that she hopes will wake up humanity to their sinful ways. Upon learning the truth of Witches, Eden starts an organization called "The Eye of Providence". The goal of the organization is to "turn the world into a paradise" by finding someone Eden can manipulate into making a wish so that Eden will retain her sanity when she becomes a Witch. Eden then plans to siphon the grief from all of the magical girls in the world, and create a barrier covering it so that magical girls never have to turn into witches and she can reign as a god in a paradise where no evil will exist ever again.

Do you even fucking know her? Clearly not. You have no brain and cannot read at all. You truly are a dumb fucking idiot. She is the only fucking Death Eater who believes he can make mistakes. She called him mistaken for his faith in Snape when even Dumbledore's Order blindly believed him. She's the only one who sees who he really is at his core and accepts him for it. The extent of his attachment to Bella (and yes, he is very, very attached to her. Academics admit it) isn't possibly without acceptance.
Bella doesn’t see and accept V. She is a raging blood-supremacist and V is a half-blood. Bella curses and screams at Harry whenever he brings up V’s blood status, because she doesn’t see and accept V at his core. She worships him, his power, this idealised version of him. The only person who actually sees V for whom he is is Harry Potter, as stated in canon.
Bella and Voldemort aren’t equals, both parties allow for that fact, so how on earth is she supposed to see and understand him when their dynamic is literally servant/lord? worshipper/god?
Though I do agree on you on the point that Bella sees V’s mistakes. She doesn’t dare speak up though, because V punishes her when she doubts him.
No, she fucking wouldn't. You truly have no understanding of nuance at all. She was angry at Harry and there is no way she didn't know about his blood status. All the other DEs knew and her husband's father went to Hogwarts with Voldemort.
Well can you give examples from canon how the DE’s knew about V’s blood status? You claim this yet you give no proper argument to back it up. Also, even if her husbands father went to Hogwarts, why would he tell that to Bella, his sons wife? If he knew, that is.
I am so fucking tired of this trite, dumb, disgusting, filthy, illogical fucking argument. Bellatrix alone doesn't warrant such an extreme reaction if it was just about usefulness. If Voldemort were purely pragmatic about her, his response would have been calculated, not explosive. Nagini was far more crucial to his survival, yet he never reacted to her injuries or eventual death with the same intensity. He never showed concern for anyone's survival before, so why would Bellatrix suddenly change that?
I think you don’t fully grasp Voldemort’s character. He can be (and is) rash, explosive, impulsive, almost Gryffindor-like. For example, in CoS the diary Tom Riddle admits that his plan on framing Hagrid for Myrtle’s murder was stupid and impulsive. It doesn’t exactly hold up to a closer inspection, does it?
And then, going on to split his soul at 15, after his very first murder, you think that’s “cold and calculated”? Is V giving Harry back his wand during GoF “cold and calculated”? He’s literally arming the enemy. Yes, V is cold and calculated when he has time to be cold and calculated, but in the heat of the moment, he is rash and explosive.
If this were just about losing a useful follower, he would not have reacted this way. His response was emotional. Rowling makes this unmistakable in the way the scene is written and with the contrast to his pragmatic reaction to Nagini's death.
I believe you should reread my post. Especially the part where I stated that V was reacting, not to Bella, but to the fact he was losing and Bella’s death clearly signalled that loudly and clearly.
And why the fuck would you not count CC? Who the fuck are you to decide what's canon? YOU ARE NOTHING. YOU DON'T EVEN EXIST TO ME. One-sided? No. Toxic and abusive, yes. Any filthy fucker who thinks a relationship with Voldemort can exist without being toxic needs to never talk about him again.
Because CC contradicts the main series and wasn’t even written by the author to begin it.
Your lack of ability to be able to have a proper conversation or debate without insulting and degrading the other is worrying and immature.
Bellamort is the most shallowest ship I’ve ever seen.
They could never truly love each other. I mean, sure, Bellatrix would rearrange every single atom in her body if Voldemort asked her to. She’d follow him to the end of the world, to the depths of hell, she’d wait thirteen years for him in Azkaban.
But who is she following, and waiting for? This idealised, glorified version of him? It’s in the sense that Bella believes V to be incapable of wrong (obviously I don’t mean morally, nobody in the inner circle cares for morals and ethics). This Lord she worships, it’s really the romanticised version of him. I don’t “fault” her or anything, all of the Death Eaters do too.
They follow Lord Voldemort, the man with power at the tips of his fingers. The man that warps others reality in illusion upon layer of illusion to his own agenda, that strikes fear and amazement in others. The man born out of the ashes of his former self.
V has essentially created this “stronger”, “better” version of himself. But Tom Riddle the orphan is who he is at his core. And that’s part why, I believe, is why he belittled and humiliated Bella for her sisters child, in front of the DE. Mocking her for her in-law being now a werewolf, a person of “dirty blood”. Not unlike V himself, no?
Bellatrix (“Filthy Half-blood!”) would be (and I’m terribly sorry to say this) absolutely disgusted at Tom Riddle. This boy, trying to rise above his station, lording himself over his supposed superiors. Oh, she’d hate him in the way she hates Harry Potter. V knows this, he knows she likes the idea of him. His power. Bella is madly enraged when Harry points out V’s true blood status and upbringing, his past and truth.
Voldemort doesn’t particularly care for her either. He might be fond of her, maybe, he definitely trusts her with information more than the others (I’m using the word “trust” loosely here). But his shriek of rage when Bella died was because he knew then that he was losing, losing a good soldier, losing the war, losing his immortality and losing the Battle of Hogwarts. He knew he was done for.
Even if they were canon (not counting Cursed Child as canon) their dynamic would be incredibly toxic and abusive and one-sided. Voldemort just doesn’t care, he doesn’t see her as his equal but below her, and Bellatrix would let him hurt her if it meant he’d touch her.

Faiza performing the Kagnoma Odo (pretty literally 'lion dance'), a weapons dance and one of the more important ritual duties of Odonii priestesses. A relatively new addition to this traditional dance involves the musket as the primary weapon, which is fired mid-twirl into the ground at the climax of the dance. Faiza is experiencing an 'oh fuck' moment because her shot is more than ideally diagonal, but she’s being so cool with it.
This is a wholly ceremonial performance at the onset of the pilgrimage, performed in full regalia and lion skin (of the small, semi-domesticated strain) but no armor. It’s also distinctly a display of political allegiance between the powerful and beloved Odonii priesthood (and its loyal military) with the increasingly reviled and destabilized imperial family, with Faiza prominently wearing a bracelet of the royal serpent, which was gifted (along with the musket) by the usoma Stavis Amanti himself (Usoma is the Wardi word for king, which has been retained in the context of emperors).
The Kagnoma Odo is the ultimate demonstration of the Odonii as an embodiment of the Lion Face of God and living vessel of military might and sovereignty, demonstrating her fitness and proficiency with weapons and as a spiritual unifier for soldiers. It is accompanied by drumming and occurs in stages, running through the three keymost weapons used in war- the spear, the sword, and the musket. The musket is of the most significance, given the weapon has developed a particular esteem as the ultimate embodiment of might and superiority. Assistants (almost always other priestesses, occasionally high ranking soldiers) load and prime the musket to be fired at the climax of the dance, where it is shot into the ground as the priestess leaps out of range of the shot. The firing signals the end of the dance and the rite itself.
While not the utmost exemplar of trigger discipline, only fully inducted and senior (and therefore very thoroughly trained) Odonii are permitted to perform the dance, and injuries during actual performances are quite rare (though are known to occur during training, more than a few Odonii have burns and wounds on their feet).
The most important renditions of this dance are performed upon declarations of war and before battles (in this case, generally done in full armor along with the lion pelt). It is also done during some trainings (while a dance, it is carefully choreographed to include naturalistic maneuvers of the weapons involved and helps soldiers limber up and learn to move their weapons). It is regarded as an impressive and motivating sight and a morale booster, and, seen at a distance, potentially intimidating to enemies.
A special variant of this dance is performed as means of fully incarnating the Odomache, which is done in full nudity with the body covered in the blood of the freshly sacrificed lion and cloaked in its raw pelt (the lion has become the corpse of Odomache in the moment of death, as part of its recreation of God's sacrifice). Her public, full nude appearance once (and only once) in this act is what allows the Lion Face of God to incarnate within her. Those in attendance see the spiritually vulnerable, naked human body obscured with the sanctified and deified blood and cloaked in the sanctified and deified skin. It is a merger of the contradictions of mortality and divinity, the boundaries between the two indistinct in flickering firelight and the flash of musketfire. She is witnessed by her people, dangling in between humanity and divinity and leading them in dance, and and is thus transformed.
#faiza haidamane#Not really relevant to the core post itself but I don't have anywhere to put this#Faiza is a pretty extreme cultural rarity in that she's something along the lines of agnostic (regardless of her priestesshood)#It's a culturally specific form of agnosticism where the notion that God continues to exist and interact with the world in spirit form is#questioned. She personally gets the distinct vibe that God truly and wholly died in the act of creation and is no longer present#This isn't just a Her Thing it's a concept that comes up in some strains of religious philosophy but it's pretty rare#Orthopraxy is SIGNIFICANTLY more important to the faith of the seven faced god than orthodoxy so her merely thinking this isn't#a fundamental issue as long as she performs all expected rites and behaviors and etc (which she does quite devotedly) but it would#definitely not be socially accepted to openly proclaim (least of all from a senior priestess devoted to maintaining the connection of God's#spirit to Its lands and people) and she keeps it to herself.#She is the only main character who WHOLLY doesn't expect the pilgrimage and rites to end the drought. She doesn't fully DISbelieve#either (kind of like 'well maybe?') but for her this is all a very pragmatic political maneuver to stabilize the crumbling empire and#regain the people's faith in its leadership. It's not fully cynical like it means a lot to her but in a sense of very practically protectin#her beloved empire rather than a more spiritual sentiment.#It's very complicated for her like she takes her role very seriously and cares deeply for her faith while not actually believing#in it in any personal sense. More about what it represents to her than what it's supposed to literally be.#the white calf

Thinking about how Venom and Robo-Ky started out as two deeply lonely individuals that ended up fitting together so well that they became two halves of a whole and getting emotional about it. Getting weepy. Misty eyed even.
#I truly think they fit together perfectly like puzzle pieces and that's so crazy for two characters who had Nothing To Do With Each Other#for a good while there#a man who's trying to forge himself into the perfect weapon. discarding anything deemed imperfect or unnecessary for his role#fighting so hard to keep the only sense of purpose he's ever known and if he can't he will die trying#and a man who WAS built to be that perfect weapon. a perfect copy of someone else. but he doesn't want that#he's prideful about who he is but he was egotistical and childish too. he has wants and needs and dreams#and everyone's going to know about them whether they want to or not! he's not satisfied with being a copy he wants to be the superior#and giving them both a sense of longing for a connection neither of them thought they could have...#being too far removed from everyone around them put them right next to each other#there's a sense of understanding only these two could have but enough difference between them to perfectly balance them out#they're such a perfect fit for each other. romantically or otherwise#Venom getting someone like Robo-Ky in his life was all I could have asked for when I started playing these games#I think having someone like Robo-Ky around reminds him that all of the complicated and messy pieces that make up Venom can coexist#just having someone like Robo-Ky exists proves that#wahjgh sorry to ramble again! I'm emotional#mutual said “robovenom is waiting for me” and they were RIGHTT

It's not intended to be a judgment of her, either. Like I said at the beginning, this isn't a criticism or condemnation or indictment of her, just a statement of fact about the things we know Mon Mothma has and hasn't done with the rebellion in comparison to the things Bail has done.
I think that sometimes in the defense of Mon Mothma, and in the defense of the things she DOES do in the name of the rebellion, the places where she IS lacking or can do more and commit herself more are getting a little ignored. And I don't say that to be mean to her, I say it because I think that's quite literally the entire point of her narrative in Andor. Mon Mothma needs to become someone who WILL commit herself fully to the rebellion, someone who abandons politics behind when she finally recognizes that it's never going to work, someone who leaves whatever's left of her FAMILY behind in order to finally go be on the ground with the rest of the rebels and truly LEAD them.
I don't think it's harsh to point out that she isn't there yet. I don't think it's harsh to just... acknowledge that we KNOW she has further to go as a character because we know where her story goes from here and she's not actually the person we know she's going to become yet.
She's not a perfect rebel. She's not a fully committed rebel and we know this because we know she DOES do more and does commit herself more later in her life. And what I find so fascinating and compelling about her is watching what DRIVES her to become that person, what is it that pushes her to finally let go of the things holding her back, what is it that forces her to realize that the path she's on isn't the one she actually wants to walk? But in order to really get that story out of it, you have to be willing to acknowledge that she's still at the beginning or middle of her story, NOT the end.
And sure, there are reasons for why she's perhaps less committed than Bail is, there's reasons it takes her longer to get to the point that Bail is already at, and I'm not necessarily trying to dismiss those. But I think it's fair to point out that Bail is more committed to this than Mon Mothma is at this point in the narrative, that Bail is and has been doing more than Mon Mothma thus far, that Bail is SO involved in the rebellion in a way that Mon Mothma is simply not ready for yet. It's not just that they don't have the same role in the rebellion, it's that Bail's role at this point is SO MUCH LARGER because of all the different aspects of it that he's involved in and just how long he's been 1000% committed to these choices.
And it can't JUST be that his wife is in on it, because Breha isn't around when Bail is the only person to show up at the Jedi Temple the night it's attacked. He doesn't ask Breha for permission to go out and make sure to catch any surviving Jedi trying to return to the Temple. He doesn't check with Breha before agreeing to be a get-away driver for Yoda. He doesn't even seem to really consult her before volunteering to take on raising Leia and hiding her from the Emperor. Breha's support certainly HELPS, but it isn't the entire reason that Bail is able and willing to be more committed to taking these kind of risks early on.
Much like with the comparisons made between Mon Mothma and Saw Gerrera, I don't think we need to dismiss or devalue the things that Bail Organa has done for the rebellion and the MASSIVE sacrifices and risks he takes from literally day one in order to defend Mon Mothma and the contributions she's been making and the risks she's currently taking. Mon Mothma is committed to helping the cause and is choosing to sacrifice and risk quite a lot, and she also isn't as committed as Bail Organa is at this point in time, and those two things can and should co-exist.
Saw someone claim that Mon Mothma and Bail Organa have always had functionally the same role within the rebellion and that they currently have functionally the same role within the rebellion at this point in Andor, and that just... doesn't ring true to me.
This isn't a criticism of Mon Mothma or a dislike of her character at all, but a recognition that Mon Mothma is a character who is still GROWING AND DEVELOPING as a rebel within Andor, and ignoring that means ignoring a large part of what makes her story so fascinating and compelling.
Between Bail Organa and Mon Mothma, only one of them showed up at the Jedi Temple the night it was attacked to see what they could do to help.
Between Bail Organa and Mon Mothma, only one of them immediately moved to intercept any other Jedi who might be caught in a trap at the Temple and saved both Obi-Wan and Yoda despite the risk that action posed to his life.
Between Bail Organa and Mon Mothma, only one of them was a get away driver for a Jedi who was actively going to assassinate the Emperor immediately upon the rise of the Empire.
Between Bail Organa and Mon Mothma, only one of them is hiding the existence and location of FIVE surviving Jedi immediately after Order 66, and at minimum seven surviving Jedi by this point in Andor, and one of them he chose to take in as his own DAUGHTER.
Between Bail Organa and Mon Mothma, only one of them is going out and recruiting people to the rebellion pretty much immediately after the rise of the Empire.
I haven't read the Mask of Fear novel, so just going off of TBB, between Bail Organa and Mon Mothma, only one of them is connecting different rebel groups together by passing on resources and information covertly within a year of the Empire's rise.
So sure, yes, a lot of what Bail does is giving money to the rebellion and Mon is doing that, too, but there are SO SO MANY different things that Bail Organa does for the rebellion and has been doing since QUITE LITERALLY DAY ONE that Mon has not ever done and has never been involved in to my knowledge. Bail Organa has been 1000% committed to taking down the Empire from before it was even formally announced, and has been willing to risk his life to do exactly that and to protect people the Empire wants dead.
Again, it is entirely possible to love Mon Mothma and enjoy her character development in Andor and recognize all of the risks she IS taking to help the rebellion financially, and NOT dismiss and devalue all of other people are doing that Mon is not yet willing to do or ignore the whole narrative arc she is being given in this show. Bail Organa IS doing more than Mon Mothma, he DOES risk more than she does, he HAS been doing it for longer than she has, and he IS more committed than she is at this point. Mon Mothma will get there, and she will take over a role that Bail Organa has had for literal decades eventually and do it quite well and she will bring that torch all the way to the finish line when Bail is killed.
But she isn't there yet. She's still working on it. She still thinks she can take out the PORD with politics. She still thinks getting votes is a feasible way to get things done in the Empire (despite claiming she's studied Palpatine's tactics, she seems blissfully unaware that no matter what votes she thinks she has, she'll never win because he'll always find a way to undermine that victory). She still doesn't quite want to think about all of the ugly things Luthen and people like him have to do to achieve their goals. She's got a little ways to go yet, and I for one am still excited to finally see her realize just how pointless politics is as a tool until the Empire is actually gone and make that decision to leave it all behind so she can work towards burning it down. I want to watch her GROW into a rebel leader and that means acknowledging that that ISN'T WHAT SHE IS YET.
