That song got me thinking of Kaalaa Baunaa and only Kaalaa Baunaa………. I kept listening to that and some lounge-y Utena OST while drawing this <3

Pretty funny/cool that metal sonic is the only character to have a past self and another past self to EXIST at the same time.

like sonic and tails had their classic selves sure, but the modern versions of them were also their present selves, they weren't sonic and tails from like adventure 2 or heroes or anything.

so it's interesting how metal gets TWO versions of his past self in the same white space but his modern self never appears like, ever in both games 😭
