Zoophobia redesigns Thrice upon a time

Alright, idk if I'll do anymore but here it is!!

Alright, first up, I want to say this batch is not my favorite. I could've done more here.

Salvia, again her role is just a plot device. She's there to infodump. I misinterpret her design as a demon. So I wanted to twist that into a more aquatic themed one. Making her a vampire squid demon(?) idk what she really is. Wiki said she's human but immortal, which would've been cool but doesn't make that much sense.

I kept her red aesthetic so I kept that part. Monochromatic colored characters can work if used sparingly.

Second up, Latika, biggest overhaul I have to say. Her original design is... yikes... but Vivizepop was a naive teenager and south Asian representation was pretty much all stereotypes... but still yikes. I decided to lean into a neutral color palette for her. Scrapping the red and henna patterned tail. Her design was overcomplicated for a supporting/ background character. I also wanted to make her look more like a mom. Obviously incorporating her Indian and Hindu background. I kept her bindi and dressed her up and attire that would make sense for a Indian mother.

While not happy with her design, and might do better next time. For right now I think it fits a background character for right now.

Then the last one, Nathan. Taking away his human looks and focusing more on the Eel like appearance of the eel. I didn't change a lot but wanted to change his role. While I understand it's a academy and that there's a lot of teachers, assistant dance teacher is excessive. As a generic teacher aide. I think the fact he's an electric eel is a missed opportunity.

But anyways, these are the redesigns and more Zoophobia art might your way too.

What's Nathan's place in your Zoophobia NG AU?

Nathan is currently working at ZPA alongside Alanzo as his assistance in dance classes! Also while we're on the topic of Nathan I've started exploring the possibility of Nathan x Hatchet x Nutmeg

Origonally I shipped Nathan with Nutmeg, then I discovered Nathan x Hatchet through the lovely work of @JaydensNights on Twitter, and I'm starting to like the idea of Nathan ending up crushing on both of them (plus I realized Nutmeg and Eve - at least how I headcannoned Eve to be - have the same personality type, so I'dsave me having to design an entirely new OC)
