My opinion is that every person you meet as a friend, lover, or business partner has some connection to your astrology chart.

Because of this, they enter your life in some way, and they either bring a particular kind of energy into your life to improve your love life, spiritual life, business, or financial situation, or they bring you pain, grief, and bad luck. If your spouse or partner's ruling planets were in the 2nd, 7th, 10th, or 11th houses of your astrology chart at the time of their birth, they will bring you financial prosperity and be extremely fortunate to work together in business.

The Badhaka house, the 4th house, the 6th house, the 8th house, and the 12th house are the houses that prevent happiness in a marriage or relationship. Because it is between the 12th and 5th houses, the 4th house in an astrology chart negates sex, love, romance, and pregnancy in life.

Odessa Logan had always been the black sheep of the Logan family, and for no good reason. Star Dress Mini Series#07

Hello guys, Aashi here and welcome back to my Mini Series of Star Dress where I review SD and discuss its future potential. I am already done with Aries, Taurus, Gemini, Cancer, Leo and Virgo.

The SD for today is Scorpio ♏

Firstly, I was surprised to see the number of battles Scorpio appeared in, despite having very limited moves. He has taken part in almost every battle Lucy had, since she got his Gate Key.

Defeated the Royal Guards of Edolas

Fought against Kain Purgatory in S- class trials

Unison Raid Sand Buster with Wendy's Dragon Roar against Hades

Combined attack with Taurus in GMG

Team up with Yukino during Eclipse Gate arc and then helped in closing it, along with the entire zodiac

Helped in Tartaros when Natsu and Lucy were up against Jackal

Against Brandish Mew of Spriggan 12 in Alveraze arc

And latest, in Lucy vs Mimi 01 in 100YQ

The problem here is that he himself just uses his one move very often (Sand Buster) and then gets OHKOed by people like Kain and Mimi. His other attacks like Sand Spear and Sand Wall aren't that useful either.

Keeping all of that in mind I say, Lucy's SD is pretty useful. It gives her Sand Flight and helps her launch a no of swift attacks on her enemy. Though I don't think it has much raw power, it can still do considerable damage.

Overall Ratings

The overall ratings are as follows:

Attack: 8/10

Defence: 2/10

Versatility: 2/10

Appearance: 7/10

The attack power is good but it leaves her defenceless against opponents with high calibre. Versatility? It has just one move and that too in combination with her spirit. SD looks can be improved. It's good but it can be better and same goes for her powers which leads us to our next point, i.e. future potential for this SD.

Future Potential

Actually, this is one of Lucy's SD that needs a discussion related to SDM. If we observe closely, it is clear that Aquarius X Scorpio SD is Scorpio dominant. Look at that big tail, gauntlet and boots she gets. Wouldn't it be much better if she got a big pony tail and fighter like style instead of those little twig tails and Aquarius top etc. and it was some kind of Scorpio SD Evolution?

I think it would have been a better idea of we got these evolutions instead which had one dominant form and some aspects of other forms. Maybe after that, a completely new SDM that is made by the equal parts of both SD could have made sense.

But anyways, that's not the point of discussion today. So let's look at some moves Lucy can acquire:

Throat Dryer

This was one of the moves that came to my mind when I saw Ajeel vs Erza. Remember, how he tried to kills Erza by absorbing all the water in her body via sand? He absorbed the source of life itself!! The first thing that came to my mind was could Lucy possibly use this spell too?

It may look like playing dirty but things like that shouldn't come to mind when you're literally fighting God Dragons and the lives of your friends is on the line.

Sand-Manipulation

Lucy is not Ajeel but she should be able to use some sand magic too. The only move that Lucy's SD provides is Sand Flight and that's why I think it's good for her to get at least one sand related move. By sand manipulation, I am referring to her controlling small tornadoes or maybe even cancelling some sand spells.

Water-Magic

For starters, Scorpio is actually a water sign so why not have some sand cum water element moves? This was the case when I first saw Lucy using Aqua Metria. She was literally controlling all the sand/ground and turning it into waves (like water). This move could have been a better fit for this SD but they had to show how powerful Aquarius is.

I think, it suits Scorpio better.

The thing to be noted here is that later when she uses Aqua Metria in 100YQ it is a water attack (which Mimi consumes btw😂) but I think this was originally a Scorpio idea that they later scrapped to make it look as if it was always water.

Anyways, after updates it should look somewhat like this:

As an air element, he actual does possess control over it however, because of his childish nature, he doesn’t do much with it : making leaves spin in little tornadoes, a lovely breeze on summers through his whole floor, playing with the tree leaves, pushing himself if he’s playing on the swings. But don’t let this fool you, whilst he is in control of it and keeps his emotions in check a majority of the time by bottling it up ( it’s too tedious to be drowned in ‘em! So bottle them up and throw them in the sea of emotions ) there are times in which he will get overwhelmed and it might cause a ruckus, actually destroying things around him hence why it’s better for ANOTHER ZODIAC SIGN to be with him at all times... because, well, he doesn’t have a middle ground : it’s either numbness or feeling everything with intensity.

Despite his punk looks, he was, is and forever will be respectful of kid’s dreams because they deserve to have hope and be protected, to grow up at their own time rather than develop emotional maturity due to traumatic events ( for example, if a kid asks him ‘am I a bad kid?’ the zodiac sign will go ‘no! of course not, but doing that action wasn’t the best, remember this mistake and do better next, ‘kay?’ ) and elders, even those who don’t quite deserve it. GEMINI is unable to hide his displeasure at the humans who mistreat both : bullies, thieves, abusers, etc., he will without hesitation jump into the situation and throw hands on sight. He will never stand by and watch, he will always take action without considering the consequences.

GEMINI is both touch starved and touch repulsed, he is a hopeless romantic and a downright pessimist with relationships. As always, the middle ground is nowhere to be seen but this is mostly due to his trust issues and his double-faced nature. It’s rare for him to whole-heartedly trust someone, he has a personality for each person he ever met : from people-pleaser to an asshole. Truth be told, he isn’t entirely honest with all the zodiac signs either but they are the closest to REALLY know him. He is the closest to CANCER ( @burglarlotus ) and would do anything and everything for her, she’s the one who knows him in depth hence why he can become whiny around her or cling onto her.

Everyone in the penthouse appears to have some pet of any kind an he decided to go for adopting a pair of street dogs whom he assumed would be a small breed but it turned out those are bigger than him if they stand up on their paws. They also turned out to be fluffy, so during summer there’s hair EVERYWHERE in his floor as he brushes them over and over, also loves bathing and walking with them. GEMINI is super attached to animals, in fact, it goes both ways except ( and ironically ) with other dogs other than his. For some reason, they see him as a predator or someone intimidating and fear him deeply even though he is doing nothing. It upsets him to the point he can cry right there and then.

He is INCAPABLE of cooking, put him in a kitchen and the firefighters have to be in speed dial yet, somehow, he is amazing at making chocolate bombons and pancakes. Those are the two things that NOBODY, not even himself, know how he can do them.

For some unbeknown reason, he used to have a little crush on TAURUS and LEO that was gone as soon as it appeared and it still BAFFLES him that he dropped that low ( that’s a joke, he appreciates their existance but really, how in the hell ).

GEMINI is the type to take the bugs outside UNLESS another zodiac sign panics in which he kills them and feels sad afterwards. Then again, he is TERRIFIED of worms, butterflies and moths for no reason other than finding them ugly except that one type of butterfly that eats decomposing bodies because ‘those are rad’. Eagles hate him for no reason.

He can, will and must have an existential crisis all days around 3AM and will pester any other zodiac sign that is awake. If not, he will BLAST his messy playlist which goes from anime openings to mambo no. 5 because he can’t have an order with those.

If you put a raven next to GEMINI, corporate will see the same picture because he is a hoarder with shiny things or stuff that catches his eye. He will even randomly give those little tokens to other zodiac signs because ‘it reminded me of you’.

He won’t react at horror movies or games, instead clacking like a MANIAC but will CRY a river at romantic movies. Also the type to get ABSORBED into something and won’t give a reaction, not even if the entire penthouse is on fire. He hyperfixates in one hobby and either keeps it or tries something new, it’s a circle because he might pick it up later on.

Judson Cleirigh (Acquaintance): Ebony orders ingredients from Samir and Judsoin for the Anderson’s batch of hunters Ancestral Elixir. To keep supernaturals from finding out what exact ingredients they use, Ebony orders 100 different ingredients a week but for the entire month only one of them would be what she needs. Ebony thinks Judson may be suspicious of her but he has yet to say anything or acted out in any way to confirm it. He has randomly started to add care tips for growing her own ingredients at home but none of them have been any of the key ingredients she needs. She thinks he’s just being nice and helpful.

Sirius Cobic (Mutual Agreement): The human shifters seem to be the neutral party in Chicago and they own the police. Ebony can’t tell for sure if every person in the police department is a human shifter or if it’s a mixture but it is clear that Sirius is the ring leader. Sirius randomly approached her one day with a proposition that Ebony couldn’t refuse. He was willing to hand off untouchables and other supernaturals that go unpunished by their packs to the Andersons.

Douglas Gish (Mutual Agreement): Douglas is another known human shifter that approached Ebony nearly a year after Sirius did but around the same time as Sarah. The human shifter police officers were willing to hand off human cases that weren’t handled properly or didn’t have enough evidence to prosecute. They are willing to turn a blind eye to their activities as long as they aren't messy. Malik seems to be the only one that still gets speeding or parking tickets.

Sarah Harris (Mutual Agreement): Sarah has approached Ebony and Elle Colt about hunting human criminals. Jackals have no use to hunters besides information; the same can be said for rats and nimbles. The Anderson's family hunt for hire for the local Jackal Pack and in return the jackal government workers look in the opposite direction when it comes to zoning, public records, licensing, code enforcement, power and light bills, etc.

Blaine Colt (Brother-In-Law): Ebony encouraged Imani to start dating Blaine and has always been supportive of their relationship. Ebony likes Blaine's way of hunting and looks forward to working more with him in the future.

Fiona ‘Fi’ Marz (Friendly): During a really bad tornado, Ebony took an anonymous order for animal shifter and human shifter blood. Her contact turned out to be a vampire. They continued to deal like this for bad thunderstorms and tornadoes. After Imani joined the Colt family, Ebony shared another dealer, Amy Colt’s information with Fi to lessen her load.

Hostile Connections:

Malik Jenkins (Uncle-In-Law): Malik has never tried to get to know Ebony personally. While Malik and Grant are friends, he has practically ignored Ebony and Imani. They’re unsure why but cannot bring themselves to care about it.

Thunder Cards: Midori has little in the means of high magical powers. So she uses cards that are typically only given to mikos to ward off youkai. These are often used as a last resort tool, because chants take time to make powerful strikes. Some are as simple as one word, others are longer. She needs total concentration to make them work. She thus has the power to create a storm accompanied by lightning and thunder.

You wouldn’t know they’re sad except that they’re a lot quieter than usual. Once sharp and quick-witted, they’re slow and seem elsewhere in their head.

A Gemini’s racing mind has all the answers, if they find time to listen. With patience, they should write down all their feelings or listen to their favorite music, then allow themselves a good cry. If a Gemini gives themselves a period to reflect and release their feelings, the unsettling quality of their sadness will feel so much more bearable.

CANCER - THE CRY BABY

A Cancer is in the pits of despair when they’re sad and they don’t try to hide it. It’s as though they’re sick with sadness, capable of crying till their stomach hurts. Terrified of being forgotten or left out, they need attention from their loved ones, to be consoled and cradled.

Their emotions are a beautiful thing, especially if they manifest them through something productive rather than wallow in it. A Cancer should create meaning during this time, whether that’s by pouring their heart into a new hobby or into being generous to their loved ones.

A Cancer feels so much. If they harness that sensitivity and nourish the world with it, their sadness will transform into something better.

LEO - THE TRAGIC CHARACTER

No sign is more theatrical about their sadness than Leo. Searching for purpose, they fester in their emotions till they’re on the verge of breaking down. They might construct a narrative to analyze what went wrong and why they’re the hero in the situation. Viewing sadness as a shade of their character, a Leo never wants to leave a part of themselves unaccounted for.

Their courage to face sadness head-on is an asset to a Leo, if they can stop worrying how people will judge them for it. They should find someone they trust enough to be fully honest with about the grittiness of their emotions and vent.

A Leo always strives to be a better person. If they remember to forgive themselves, they’ll glean so much insight from their sadness that they’ll be able to move on.

VIRGO - THE OBSESSIVE ENIGMA

A Virgo is obsessive and compulsive when thrown off track by sadness. Normally meticulous and organized, sadness is a mess they don’t know how to clean up. They’re easily consumed by over-analyzing situations and being too hard on themselves. They also can’t always find right words to explain it to others.

If they can give themselves a break, their introspection will provide a how-to guide for easing their pain. They should take their healing step-by-step, writing a to-do list of things that will center their spirit, and follow it at their own pace.

Virgos have all the practical power to conquer their sadness, if they can calm down enough to rebuild themselves piece by piece.

LIBRA - THE SELF-DESTRUCTOR

Balance is essential to a Libra and when sadness tips that balance, they fall over. They feel so lopsided that they stop caring about their favorite things, even severing ties with their passions completely. Their sadness is one of hopelessness and they’re prone to giving into it.

Ironically, a Libra is just as able to give in to hope. Libras can be easily swayed, and if they think just one positive thought, then another will follow. They should read self-help books, get in touch with a mentor who can inspire them to grow, or even challenge themselves with a new venture.

A Libra is a self-containing equalizer of emotions. If they trust in their ability to even out their sadness and reach out for help, they’ll bounce back in no time.

SCORPIO - THE VOLATILE MANIPULATOR

During times of sadness, Scorpio is a tornado of mood-swings. One minute, they’ll be past things. One minute later, they’re crying hot tears in a corner. Since they’re able to read people so well, they’ll be tempted to manipulate others to get what they want. However, this always ends up prolonging their sadness.

Their skills in manipulation wouldn’t exist without their profound level of empathy. And through empathy is how a Scorpio heals best. A Scorpio should spend time with animals, with children, or any of their loved ones and devote themselves to protecting them.

A Scorpio heals as much as they heal others. If they choose to use their compassionate talents to help those in need, they’ll bloom in the process.

SAGITTARIUS - THE DEJECTED PARTY ANIMAL

When a Sagittarius is sad, they overdose on happiness. They think that by distracting themselves with a busy schedule full of social activities, parties, and productivity that they can will the sadness away. When that inevitably doesn’t work, they start feeling lost, like they’re going nowhere, like their future is bleak.

Their ambition is the greatest blessing to a fiery Sagittarius, but only after they’ve taken time to feel their pain. Instead of immediately attempting to avoid it, they should spend time with their sadness before it becomes a confusing and convoluted mess later on. They should write in their journal, meditate, do some yoga, breathe in new air, and breathe out the old.

After a Sagittarius understands their sadness, they can spread their wings and fly into onward toward peace.

CAPRICORN - THE STAGNANT APATHETIC

The once headstrong and productive Capricorn comes to a standstill when they’re sad. They lose all motivation to keep up with their ventures and their hardworking qualities, along with their plans, fade away. They might even get cozy in their slump as they sorrowfully await inspiration to find their way back to them.

However, instead of waiting for it, a Capricorn should take steps to find it within themselves. No matter how hard it feels, they should get reacquainted with their long-lost passions, perhaps passions from childhood that they may have set aside for the priorities of adulthood.

As serious as a Capricorn may seem on the surface, they never sever their bond with their childhood self. It’s through their reconnection that they’ll remember happiness again.

AQUARIUS - THE WITHDRAWN STOIC

You know an Aquarius is sad when they disappear without a trace. Terrified of emotions, the very hint of sadness makes them run away, literally and figuratively. They retreat so far inwardly that they feel numb. In fact, their way of dealing with sadness make look to some like not dealing with it at all.

Still, there’s a deep well of emotion simmering at their core. If they’re able to so much as even touch it, the healing will begin. They should infuse their sadness with simple acts of creation, such as writing a poem, taking a dance class, or learning a new language.

If an Aquarius can fight through their impulse to turn themselves off completely, even the slightest expression of emotion can do the trick.

PISCES - THE DRAMATIC SELF-CRITIC

When a Pisces is sad, they combine it with every terrible thing that’s ever happened to them until they're inconsolable. Struggling perpetually with guilt, they blame themselves for their sadness and anxiously do all the wrong things as a result. For Pisces, it’s not one moment of sadness. It’s all the sadness that has ever existed.

Before they lose their minds over-thinking their emotions, they should find a way to lose themselves in something beautiful. Ever the most spiritual of signs, it doesn’t take a lot to affect them. They should watch their favorite movie, redesign their bedroom, or devote themselves to a meaningful project.

Pisces is easily permeated by the world. If they can focus their attention on the most delightful aspects of it, they’ll slip into happiness again before they know it.

SPECIES: FAE

Fae are not determined by genetics; they can be born to members of any species and are reincarnated over many lifetimes on earth based on the positions of the stars and planets. Likewise, the personality and abilities of individual fae originate from their astrological sign.

Even those who appear young in their current life can have memories stretching back hundreds of years. Were it not for their dæmons, they would appear to be the most "human" of supernatural species, and traditionally have blended into human society with more ease. In fact, it’s largely thanks to fae hiding supernatural dæmons that supernatural species were able to remain human for so long.

MYTHS & STEREOTYPES

Fae have often been called witches; a fundamentally incorrect term, detested by fae in particular because real witches will use their body parts (sometimes without permission) for their own magic.

They do not have wings,use wands, shapeshift, or come from a magical realm.

Fae children are not “changelings” left in place of a stolen child.

Slurs include gadfly, gnat, and changeling.

REINCARNATION

Fae are reincarnated into a new life every time they die. Each new reincarnation may have different characteristics such as gender and nationality, and there is no way to control this.

The only consistent thing about fae reincarnations is the time of year they are born. A fae is always born under the same astrological sign, which is tied to their personality and powers. These can vary slightly between reincarnations but will have a clear pattern.

Fae can be born into families of any species regardless of lineage. This is one origin of the changeling myth.

Fae cannot "turn" other species into fae. Likewise, fae cannot change species. However, vampire bites can make them ill, and multiple bites may lead to death.

THE ELEMENTS

Astrology is true for fae in ways that it isn’t for any other species; they are inextricably tied to the characteristics of the positions of the stars in both personality and magic.

Most fae in New Venice use the Western Zodiac, but fae from other cultures can use different forms of astrology.

Their sign is also tied to one of the four classical elements, which affects the types of abilities they might have.

They are strongest during the time of year they were born, especially on their birthday. Likewise, they are weakest during the time of the opposing star signs and elements.

ABILITIES

REINCARNATE MEMORY: The ability to recall past lives. The more recent a life is, the easier it is to remember. Younger fae tend to have flashbacks of past lives in dreams or feelings of intense déja vu; control and clarity increases with age. This can also be accompanied by an ability to sense familiarity with those known from past lives. All fae have the capacity for this ability, though it may never be triggered.

Fae cannot heal as quickly as other supernatural species, unless it that is part of their abilities.

Additional powers depend on star sign. Using abilities can vary: some require a thought, others movement, still others pursuits such as potions.

Magic is very difficult to control; practicing is important. Inexperience and strong emotions can lead to bursts of involuntary magic. It requires mental concentration and in some cases physical energy. Magic follows a rule of equal exchange: for every action, there must be a reaction.

The more practiced a fae is with their magic, the pointier their ears will appear.

Fae are weaker in environments that do not align with their star sign (e.g. a fae who has an affinity for fire would be weaker in a damp place).

BANNED POWERS: mind reading, mind control, necromancy, fae shapeshifting, teleportation, telekinesis, or anything that would allow your character to significantly and permanently alter the world and characters around them without restriction.

AGING & PHYSICALITY

LIFESPAN: Fae can live slightly longer than humans, up to 140-150 years, but they tend to die earlier. This is because their bodies tend to be weaker and prone to ailments than other species, believed to be a characteristic of magic. Using their abilities takes energy, and it’s thought that excessive use of it, paired with aging, can also have adverse mental effects on fae.

Fae are born into their first life and die permanently (without being reincarnated) based on planetary and star alignments, again corresponding with certain times of the year. Nobody knows how many lives they can have.

Appearance: Fae have only one form, which looks human, though they can be influenced by their abilities. Fae who use their magic more often have pointier ears, setting them apart.

LIFESTYLE & CULTURE

THE FAE COURTS are divided by element. They are ancient institutions intended to govern fae throughout multiple lives, and infamous for micromanagement and stifling bureaucracy. The fae courts create laws, carry on traditions, attempt to find newly reincarnated fae, provide instruction for magic, and have other institutions such as maintaining multi-life security boxes in an elaborate bank.

Fae who have fewer lives are more likely to reject the fae courts, which they view as oppressive, because they are less traditional.

A fae's dæmon also comes back with them in each life, bearing the same name each time.

Due to their multiple lives, fae are more prone than any other species to hold grudges and feuds that can last for centuries.

Some live together, others apart. Greater numbers can create more powerful magic.

Some fae take it upon themselves to search for fae born into families of other species so that they can be introduced into fae society.

FAE ZODIAC & COMMON ABILITIES

This is based on western star signs; characters who are born into cultures with other types of astrology can have differences. These will also not be very in depth and contain only key traits, since astrology gets incredibly complex and we're not expecting characters' exact star charts to be calculated. You're welcome to look further into each sign for personality and ability ideas.

Keep in mind that abilities should be limited.

The stronger they are the more of a "price" they should require of the user. For example, effortless/unlimited telekinesis is not okay, but can be acceptable with limitations such as sapping of physical strength and being affected by distance.
