Last night I watched an episode of Zatima where one of Zac’s friends explained that two people can be in the same situation, and have two different perspectives and stories of what went down. I think about this exact topic a lot and I discuss this a lot with my sister & close friends. I be ready to bawl and sob because it’s insane how some people truly can have a fixated perspective of a situation, someone’s intentions, or what they meant because of their own life, and what their reality was in that situation. This ain’t even about liars or gaslighters or manipulators this is about people who really think one thing and no matter what the other person is trying to tell them, they’re standing on what THEY think of that person and their situation.

I’ve cried many nights growing up bc I was super misunderstood. I still am, I just wear it prettily and I’m slowly learning how to navigate this world better knowing that me being ‘different’ is a gift, even when it feels like a curse. & one thing about being misunderstood or being someone that people intentionally decide to misunderstand, that shit can sometimes make you extremely bitter. Zac’s therapist is also someone that has made me super emotional. Certain episodes felt like he was talking to me instead.
