Reagan Amyre Gomez-Preston (born April 24, 1980) is a television, film, and voice actress. She is known for her roles as Zaria Peterson on The Parent ‘Hood (1995–99) and Roberta Tubbs on The Cleveland Show (2009–13). She starred in Love, Inc. (2005–06) season as Francine.

She was born in Detroit to Cheryl Gomez and Dr. Bennett Preston. She has a younger brother. They moved the family to Little Rock and then to Philadelphia. In Philadelphia, she was enrolled in acting, dancing, and singing lessons at Philadelphia’s Freedom Theatre. They moved to Los Angeles with her mother and brother Kyle, so she could pursue an acting career.

She guest starred on One on One as Flex’s younger sister/Breanna’s aunt, Bernadette. She was a guest host of Soul Train, which aired in December 1995. She is a former cast member of The Amanda Show. She has been featured in King magazine twice, first in the September/October 2003 issue, and again in the December 2006/January 2007 issue. She was one out of five cover girls in her second appearance. She appeared in music videos such as “Sorry 2004” by Ruben Studdard, “No Better Love” by Young Gunz, and “Whatever You Like” by T.I.

She is a writer of feature films, with her own business and production company. Since 2014, she has had a recurring voice-over role as the twin sisters Jenny and Kiki Pizza on Steven Universe, and in 2016, she began a recurring role on Queen Sugar as Chantal Williams.

#SadNews Suzzanne Douglas who played in some pivotal roles in the 90’s including starring opposite Robert Townsend in his hit show ‘The Parent Hood’ and movies ‘Tap,’ ‘Jason’s Lyric’ and ‘Stella Got Her Groove Back,’ has passed, according to several news outlets. Most recently the venerable actress played in Netflix’s, ‘When They See Us.’ The former child actress Reagan Gomez who played Douglas’ daughter Zaria Peterson in The Parent Hood sitcom tweeted out pictures of the two together, seemingly confirming Douglas’ death. The news broke on July 6 and made its way around the internet. Douglas’ cousin named Angie Tee wrote: “A beautiful and talented actress made her transition today. She warmed our hearts on movie screens and television sets all over the world. This beautiful soul was my cousin. She continued: “I can remember growing up, there weren’t very many Black actresses who had starring roles but there was my cousin with the lead role in Tap starring alongside great dancers such as Gregory Hines and Sammy Davis Jr. She also performed with Angela Bassett and Whoopi Goldberg in How Stella Got Her Groove Back.
