Healer Girl, l’originale anime del regista di Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood arriverà in primavera

Presentata in anteprima la sigla di testa della serie animata.

Annunciata a fine aprile, la nuova serie animata targata STUDIO 3HZ (Sword Art Online Alternative: Gun Gale Online, Flip Flappers), dal titolo “Healer Girl”, si mostra finalmente in video e lo fa anticipando la sigla di testa “Feel You, Heal You”, cantata dal cast.

Il progetto, completamente originale, sta venendo diretto da Yasuhiro Irie (Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood, Eden) e viene descritto come “una nuova e audace forma di animazione musicale curativa”.

La sceneggiatura dell’anime è curata da Noboru Kimura (Kemono Jihen, Skate-Leading Stars), mentre il character design è ad opera di Yukie Akiya (Celestial Method, Princess Principal). 

La serie andrà in onda sulle televisioni giapponesi a partire da aprile 2022. 

Le protagoniste della storia sono quattro studentesse delle superiori, definite Healer Girls grazie alle proprietà curative del loro canto.

I personaggi sono interpretati da Akane Kumada (Hibiki Morishima nell’anime), Karin Isobe (Kana Fujii nell’anime), Marina Horiuchi (Remi Gojo nell’anime) e Chihaya Yoshitake (Sonia Yanagi nell’anime); le doppiatrici formano il gruppo di canto omonimo anche nella realtà e il loro album di debutto è uscito in Giappone lo scorso marzo.

YOOOO NEW 3HZ ORIGINAL ANIME

Healer Girl is a "new-style musical healing animation" that depicts a world where "healers" who heal people with songs are active. The main cast includes Isobe Hanabusa of the Healer Girls, a female voice acting unit that has been active since this year, and Isobe has been cast as Kana Fujii, Horiuchi Marina as Reimi Goshiro, Kumada Akane as Hibiki Morishima, and Yoshitake Sisyu as Sonia Yanagi. The animation is produced by Studio 3Hz, directed by Yasuhiro Irie, series composition and script by Noboru Kimura, and character design by Yukie Akiya. The teaser visual depicts Kana Fujii, Reimi Goshiro, Hibiki Morishima, and Sonia Yanagi lying down.

Fuck I’m excited, and also super relieved to hear this. Flip Flappers in 2016 was a great original, but Oshiyama left the studio. Princess Principal in 2017 was a great original, but 3Hz is having no part in Crown Handler. Come 2018 and we only had adaptations - the admittedly great SAOAGGO, though it still needed a recap episode, and Rifle Is Beautiful, which looked ugly as sin and had a pretty bad production, alongside just having none of the studio’s flair. Things look up in 2019 with BlackFox, but the production troubles for that were so intense that what was intended to be a TV anime became just a movie instead. Finally we get a bishie boy mobage adaptation where they work alongside P.A. Works - it didn’t look great, it again had none of the studio’s charms, and the scheduling issues were so intense that the show got delayed an entire season.

I mean the TL;DR is just that 3Hz fell from grace. All I can hope is that Healer Girl is the return they need.

Spring 2022 TV Anime Healer Girl Releases Shining Key Visual & ED Movie

    The official website for the forthcoming original TV anime series Healer Girl has been updated with a key visual and the ED movie featuring the ED theme song "Believe like Singing." sung by the four-member voice actresses/singer unit Healer Girls. The unit was formed by Karin Isobe, Akane Kumada, Marina Horiuchi, and Chihaya Yoshitake in March 2021 as a result of their activities in BS11's anime music program "Anison Days." 

  The TV anime is directed by Yasuhiro Irie (Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood), alongside character designer Yukie Akiya (Princess Principal) and series composition writer Noboru Kimura (Skate-Leading Stars), at Studio 3Hz (Sword Art Online Alternative Gun Gale Online). It is set to premiere in Japan in the spring of 2022.

    Story introduction:

  The third kind of medicine, healing -- "voice medicine," which uses singing to heal illness and injury. And those who perform medical treatment by singing are called "Healer." There are three apprentice healers working at the Karasuma Voice Clinic - Kana Fujii (CV: Karin Isobe) is an energetic mood maker, Reimi Itsuhiro (Marina Horiuchi) is a little strong-willed young lady, and Hibiki Morishima (Akane Kumada) is the calm but firm older sister-type girl. After school, the three first-year high school students are training to become full-fledged healers at the clinic! Along with Sonia Yanagi (Chihaya Yoshitake), who is a returnee who is a certified C-level healer, the girls are singing songs of healing today as they work towards their dreams!

    Ahead of the TV premiere, a reading event "Healing Theater" will be held at Science Museum in Tokyo on March 6. The four members of Healer Girls will appear on the stage for readings, a talk session, and their mini live song performance.
