my partner and i saw mickey 17 in the cinemas today and we would've enjoyed it a whole lot more if there weren't these little shits sitting behind us kicking our chairs the entire movie and crawling around the seats with their phones on and talking non-stop

we were both about ready to turn around and tell them to shut the absolute fuck up, and when they left the cinemas they looked no more than 12 years old. like not to sound like an old person but where were their parents???? this movie is rife with violence and swearing and nudity and sex and sure i was watching shit like that when i was their age but doesn't mean they should've been there unsupervised.

if you wanna watch a movie and riff on it and talk (god knows i love a good yap at a silly movie), WATCH IT AT HOME. JESUS CHRIST.

great movie though for real. i love seeing my lil freak man robert pattinson, and mark ruffalo playing another tempestuous manchild slash thinly veiled trump character. knowing that this movie should've come out BEFORE orange plague 2.0, that aspect of the movie aged far too well).

Today, in Waterston with my parents, I told my mother that I was going to look at the Graphic Novels.

She then comes over.

'There's pictures in these.' She says.

'I know. That's what the Graphic part means' I say.

Then, with full honesty, she says:

'Oh. I thought graphic novels were books with sex in them.'
