Nightpaw doesn’t have the greatest luck with the Clangen rng, so to celebrate, I thought we’d test her luck here on Tumblr, since you guys seem to enjoy her! I’ve rigged up a little game for you all…

To play is simple:

To throw a ball at ms. Nightpaw, comment a number from 1 to 8 (can include 1 or 8)(You are allowed to leave several comments). Depending on the number, the throw may be a hit (something bad happens to her [silly mischievous bad, not actually canon traumatizing bad]), or it may be a miss (something good happens to her). There are 4 possible hits and 4 possible misses… so ms. Nightpaw may get all hits OR all misses…who could say.

Have finally made up my mind about my want to have Tetsuya have some sort of mecha-esque entity (because I love that shit and genshin made the horrible mistake of giving one to Scaramouche so I’m now not letting it go awraxa).

Tetsuya does not own a mecha BUT he can manifest an elemental being made of pure anemo (anemo manifestation/anemo spirit). This anemo manifestation looks very much like Fujin who’s some of the inspiration Wanderer is founded on.

This is actually a technique purely founded on his feelings and his spiritual composure being given form by his ability to manipulate and infuse with anemo elemental energy. This is an ability Nahida helped him achieve in his time with her, his time under “house arrest” also resulting in Nahida helping him hone his skills and try to strengthen him some more (once he’s earned his keep but also as a showcase of good faith from her part).

Given how he’s really emotionally impulsive, has a hard time processing his emotions, and just gets really easily overwhelmed emotionally, this technique serves as self-motivation for himself to try to work on that since this spirit is entirely dependent on how good of a hold he has on his feelings and state of his spirit. Depending on where he is in that process will also influence how strong the spirit actually is, so there’s a lot of trial and error involved for sure because at some points in the starting process of all of this he could manifest the spirit but it would not listen to him or it would just last for a few seconds before disappearing.

The spirit is a tower in size and it envelopes around Tetsuya when it’s summoned, it does not have legs, only the upper half of its body that’s the best Tetsuya can do so the spirit’s movements are entirely dependent on Tetsuya, who more often than not serves as its puppeteer when Tetsuya has a good grip of himself.

Given the fact that this spirit is of pure anemo elemental energy it can infuse with other elements, but not by coming in contact with it but by coming in contact with Tetsuya himself. Physical contact, the contact between him and the other elemental wielder or entity will make him infuse himself with said element and thus transmitting it to the spirit. Like with Tetsuya depending on what element will depend on what sort of plus the spirit gets due to the infusion. 

I’m still running through those ideas and haven’t decided yet, but the general consensus is that the spirit gains some form/type of elemental armor of that element, said armor having different abilities depending on the element. 

For example if someone of the cryo element comes in contact with Tetsuya while the spirit is out, the spirit will get armor made of cryo around it plus a distinct ability specific to that cryo element. 

This is all still sorta of a rough draft? But that’s what I got so far and the general idea, will work out the details when it comes to the elemental armors and what they provide to Tetsuya’s anemo spirit.

even though its great that indie animation is on the rise, it honestly concerns me that so many people hear "indie animation" and expect 22 minute episodes with smooth animation and expensive/popular VAs.

It kind of reminds me of when Webtoons became popular and then all of a sudden its userbase expected fully colored comics with 50 panels to come out every week. And you couldn't take a break for more than two weeks or else they'd complain.
