Joining in on the not-quite-anon opinions to say that the fics you've written are so insanely compelling (and yes, incredibly hot), and you've been one of my biggest creative inspirations on here! I've been so happy seeing you back!

Your characters are amazing. I'm a little bit obsessed with Caspian — the guy is often in my thoughts, you've created a monster — and while I'll always respect and support an artist's decision to do what they need to with their art, I'll always miss reading the fics, especially the ones where you had Caspian with Halo and Viper — that was inspired. I was elated when you shared some of them again! And this isn't any pressure on you to put any of them up, I swear I'm happier reading something knowing it's what you want to share.

I've always wanted to say hi and maybe draw your characters, but like those anons say, you're really cool in an intimidating way. So this is me finally gathering the courage to say hi! Thank you for sharing your art!

Wow, thank you!!! That's REALLY high praise! I'm so flattered that my guys can inspire that kind of creativity in someone else! I do plan to put those back up at some point. I just haven't been able to find them on my blog lol. I didn't take them down, actually. Just made them private.

anyone who knows me knows that i have no great love for organized religion particularly christianity but there has always been a soft spot in my heart for mary...my parents and i attended christmas eve services at a unitarian church and the minister told the story of jesus’ birth in a very literal and secular way and i found it so moving even as a child...she talked about how joseph and mary were homeless teenagers who had gotten pregnant by accident and how the innkeeper offered them space in the stables out of the goodness of his heart. and instead of gabriel and the wise men coming to bestow blessings and gifts because he was the son of god, they came because he was the son of joseph and mary and every child’s birth should be celebrated as a miracle of life, a miracle of the mother’s strength. i just remember how the minister really impressed upon us how brave mary was in particular to be in such a scary situation, unsure of her health and the health of her baby, unsure of her relationship with joseph, but still able to persevere because of her own strength—not a strength imbued in her by a higher being but a strength born out of sheer will and courage, the courage of a teenage girl who wanted to survive against all odds. idk. i can just recall so vividly sitting in the pew as a kid and hearing the minister refer to mary as a “brave girl”. she was so human to me in that story and she has remained so in my mind ever since.

the funniest meltdown ive ever had was in college when i got so overstimulated that i could Not speak, including over text. one of my friends was trying to talk me through it but i was solely using emojis because they were easier than trying to come up with words so he started using primarily emojis as well just to make things feel balanced. this was not the Most effective strategy... until. he tried to ask me "you okay?" but the way he chose to do that was by sending "👉🏼👌🏼❓" and i was so shocked by suddenly being asked if i was dtf that i was like WHAT???? WHAT DID YOU JUST SAY TO ME?????????? and thus was verbal again

I don't think I've seen anybody talk about how absolutely insane The Boiling Rock is from Hakoda's perspective.

Imagine getting captured, and your son tells you that you won't be apart for too long. That's sweet, but obviously your son has no resources to spare for organizing a breakout. You hope that the Avatar can defeat the Fire Lord soon - that's the earliest time you could hope to be rescued.

You get put into a temporary holding facility until the guards can sort out who is who. After a while, they put you on a prisoner transport to the Boiling Rock. Your captors try to intimidate you by telling you that it's the highest security prison in the Fire Nation, probably the whole world. It's far away from the capital.

You arrive at the Boiling Rock. It really is in the middle of a boiling lake. There's only one way in or out, and it's a gondola that takes you above the boiling lake. You meet the warden. They take you to your cell. You settle down to wait for the end of the war.

And 15 minutes later Sokka comes in like "hey dad I'm here I got the prince of the Fire Nation and an Earth Kingdom ninja leader gf ok let's go I'm busting you out"
