Yorki use to tease him about his appearance, making jokes about his body and emotions, playfully. This seems to carry itself in the form of a familar style of jokes Brook plays on himself, mocking himself as if Yorki was there still. Coping.

His favorite song is Binks Sake, however they call it in the flashback as “YORKI’S favorite song.” They call it “that song” and “his favorite.” Not Brooks. He took that too.

He seems to be a funhouse mirror of Rumbar traits at this point, guess that’s what you get when you’re the only person alive harboring the memory of so many people.

Ok hear me out, they both used to be pirate captain, they both watched their old captain die, they're both very silly despite being the oldest in the crew, their birthdays are one day apart, and most importantly I love them both very much.
