y'all ain't ready for this-- @badly-drawn-doflamingo 's Admiral Yorki AU that I hijacked and threw my awful guy into!!!

Long story short, Yorki lives (somehow). Old man with memory loss gets scooped up by the marines and somehow becomes an Admiral. Now he goes around surveying and checking in on various world government islands and important figures, and just maaaaaybe has a bias towards Enies Lobby and a certain cp9 director... he's fun to annoy, okay!!!!

yorki and brook are 1st gen gay pirates, roger and rayleigh are 2nd gen, mihawk and shanks are 3rd gen and zoro and luffy are 4th gen

Yorki randomly dying of an illness feels so...mundane. There's no glory, no one last stand against a superior foe. It's not even as romantic as dying in a storm, and it fits with the Grand Line's reputation as a pirate's graveyard.

There are some people who think Yorki survived, a theory which I'm ambivalent on. Of course I'd prefer if he stayed dead, but there is enough evidence that it wouldn't feel like an asspull if it turned out to be true

In a parallel universe where Ace meets Whitebeard early and much like Luffy and Shanks makes a promise (to one day surpass Whitebeard) when he sets out to sea he meets with Kuina, Nojiko, Kaya, Reiju, and many others. They go on the strawhat journey (with some twist and turns)

One day (maybe in the Wano fight maybe not) a devil fruit activates sending Luffy and the strawhats to this world. Allowing for Luffy and Ace to reunite, but also Robin and Olivia (her mom) Chopper and Dr. Hiriluk, Law and Rosinante and many more.
