This last episode, the cuts /edits are ridiculous to the point that it's actually affecting the show itself. "Now you see me, now you don't" moments are like watching a fucking magic show. Ridiculous!

Also, the way they made Tae looked like he's mute in most of the conversation & interaction, unbelievable... 🙄

A YouTuber new to BTS commented on AYS episodes, saying Tae seemed uptight, disinterested, and had a "bitchy" attitude, always on his phone. This highlights how V is portrayed to the public through the show.

To be very honest, a lot of the time it looked like one of those ship compilations you'd find in youtube 😬

But also made me realise how similarly cut it is to some Bangtan content (with Tae being portrayed as not engaging, bored etc...)

for how much promo went into this show, (way more than someone’s debut album lol), their editing team lacked the same commitment 😭

I HATE the idea of killing new moon to bring the old moon back. Just because he is spiralling and hurting. Lashing out at his family and wanting to kill ruin/Bloodmoon. Doesn't mean Moon doesn't love and care for his family.

I don't think Monty talked to sun about this. AT ALL I don't think sun would want this either (I hope so at least i really really hope so) considering he ran off during the last discussion after firmly stating he didn't wanna do any of the things they were suggesting. I am holding out some hope.

Mmm for MC there's quite a lot, I'd go for Daye, because I enjoy watching her a lot, Sema Keçik is such a good actress and her character explores excelently the combination between undying loyalty from an slave to her master (plus the complex limits between friendship-servitude) and the will to stand for her own beliefs and values whatsoever, which is just so interesting, as well as it's her nostalgic and sassy personality. Then ofc there's Gulfem too, not only because I always connected with her introvert and supportive nature but also because she has a really unique philosophy and development through the show, I love a lot of her dynamics with the rest of the fam and, even though I wish the writers would've done more with her, the concept of a background character that lasts all the series untill she's just too fed up with suleym*n's bullshit and tries to kill him is great (and can you imagine how crazy it would've been if she actually succeded, I'd love it sm!). Aand there's Cihangir too for his strong sense of justice and his sensitive nature, as well as his bravery and all his rs dynamics <3. I used to think he was one of the only characters that had no haters since he's a cinammon roll, but with time I noticed both "team hurrem" and "team mustafa" spaces treat him like shit for like, daring to defend his own beliefs without turning against the ones he loves, it just tells a lot of how suleyman's blind loyalty mindset keeps getting absorved by the fandom, as well as the whole sport teams dumbassery and the general ableism (yes, I know, the show itself makes a lot of ableist decisions for the writting and it needs to be discussed but some of you are tripling that ableism, it's disgusting).

For L of ZH I really like Feng Ruozhao, she was so kindhearted and pretty smart too and while she had an small role, I enjoyed her rs with Zhen Huan a lot <3, plus I just think someone who could survive all that time in the harem without ruining anyone's life deserves the admiration. I also have a soft spot for Huanbi, even though I think she's the character whom the writers wronged the most. I love how, even after she develops love and loyalty for Zhen Huan she still gave importance to her own needs and desires (oof if only that desire wasn't a man who doesn't love her and she still pursues blindly just for the narrative to highlight how she will always be second to her sister... I get the chunyuan-zh-huanbi circle of replacing one another, I really do, but huanbi could be SO much more than this tragic figure at the end of the chain! let's not even talk about her death ugh) and didn't become just a secondary servant with no thoughts of her own, plus she was so adorable sometimes! I'd also add Cao Qinmo and An Lingrong because of some nasty comments I've seen about them on the yt eps, but both the general chinese and english speaking fandom seem to already appreciate them a lot <3.

I'll just comment that despite Jaehyun filming, JaeDo saw each other often in that period (middle of April). Do shown no signs of missing Jae, and Jae's need to tease came from a discussion in the recent past (of the programme, what Do will do there).

And yes, you are right, Bunny. Usually members are so busy themselves, they do not watch content with others. Let alone teasers, let alone on the day of release. This moment is a good telltale of JaeDo, how close they are, how Jaehyun needs to know everything, how there is ongoing joke about Do acting for the camera.

Nice to see Jaehyun was so content. He was pleases he made it in time, but is seems he enjoyed the work as well, he was shining.

Thor L&T Rant- Against the negative reviewers

One, I loved the movie because it was just a fun and heartfelt movie. However, I've got some things I need to get off my chest and it's against the negative Youtubers and Critics.

Some YTers who pride themselves on being critics (who are just normal people watching a movie and then making their opinions known) had a hard time with this movie but for obvious, annoying, petty and some valid reasons. What are those reasons? Well.....

The fixation of Ragnarök. The movie happened and it's over move on. This is one of the more annoying reasons. Watching at least 10 YT reviewers say the same damn things like "do I like it better than Ragnarök?" "Is it as good as Ragnarök?" "As someone who loved Ragnarök" "You know I loved Ragnarök" Then go watch Ragnarök. The people who can't let Ragnarök be it's own thing are struggling with false expectations moving forward. That's a you problem and the current film is not to blame for that. I could say this about the GOTG as well.

YTers hating on Marvel Phase 4 in general. This is somewhat valid because phase 4 has been a mess. MoM ummmm I didn't know I had to do homework before a film. Neither did a lot of people. If you hadn't watched WandaVision then the first half of the movie doesn't make sense. Love and Thunder at least did a recap at the beginning of the movie in a fun, comedic way; MoM did not and suffered as a consequence because the audience was lost. Movies and shows blending together without any clearly way of understanding why or how.... maybe not the best idea. However, it's not valid because why are you trying to connect this movie to 5 other movies at the same time?! Why? Just watch the damn movie as a standalone and in the avenger's movie (Hint: because those are the films that usually tie everything together) I'm sure things will make sense.

Oh yeah YTers and critics taking themselves way too seriously. The Critical Drinker right..... the guy has some valid points but I listen to him knowing that his whole thing is to be a obnoxious fake drunk while hating on things in a slurred Scottish accent. Love and Thunder unashamedly has fun and wants you to have fun so lighten up. This is a film that doesn't take itself too seriously, yes, sometimes to it's own detriment. Guess what?! Ragnarök was very much the same kind of movie.

People trying to be smart and failing. If you are gonna "analyze" a film come correct. Several YTers are being educated in the comment section because they missed a lot of things the first time watching the film. For example, several critics and YTers don't understand why the Gods didn't intervene when Thanos wanted to obliterate half the universe. Umm hello! THAT'S THE POINT OF THE WHOLE MOVIE! Scene after scene regarding people who prayers/problems are not being answered by the Gods and they don't understand why. We met those Gods doing nothing but discussing orgies and BS. It's what motivates Gorr into wanting to kill them all because they are useless. It's in the trailer, it's in the movie so how did you miss that?!

They missed it, because they were too busy thinking the movie was dur dur dumb, the Gods cannot control death. The second half of the movie (part of the Disney+ shows) is about setting up that there is entities above "the Gods" like the original celestials who held the infinity stones. Like lady death, eternity, the watcher ect. ect. If the Gods could stop death then someone like Gorr the God butcher wouldn't scare them nor be able to kill them.

Lastly, and this is fair people were genuinely concerned this film would be woke. People are really wearing thin with the gender bending, race swapping, SHEro while being underdeveloped and poorly written, alphabet group pandering, agenda pushing and I understand because I am too. Those movies are failing BTW look at Lightyear. I'm talking about poorly executed films but it's diverse so we can't complain about it. Valkyrie and Mighty Thor are well written and developed while not minimizing or sidelining Thor. Valkyrie isn't making speeches about being oppressed (how could she?! she's king!) and Jane is strong woman without needing to tell everyone she's a strong woman. I loved Jane actually because you saw her selfless love for Thor. She faced her mortality with courage. She supported another female and didn't feel the need to compete with her. She didn't try to replace or be randomly better than him. Ultimately she died for him. Jane is a great female character.

One more thing. Yes, the film was hurting from it's cut down run time. The film needed to be longer. Another 20 minutes to see Gorr butcher a God, develop Valkyrie more, really sit with Thor and Jane and her mortality+ what that means for him going forward. Let the film breathe a little more would have only strengthened the film. Hopefully there is an extended cut.

I was minding my business and commenting in yt video and suddenly one jikook shipper came and attacking me with things like we are delulus and jk hickeyoment is true and how jk told in jikook live that if jimin leaves he will pilost a selca with bite mark and when they and hickey were trending they posted a selca together. Is all of this true my heart is crying over it

Well, the hickey thing is "true" insomuch as Jungkook showed up at rehearsal with a bruise on his neck and Jimin told the members, staff, and cameras that he had bitten Jungkook the night before when they were drinking and Jungkook was messing with him.  Basically, he said that they'd been drinking, Jungkook picked him up and spun him around, Jimin told him to stop but he didn't, so Jimin bit him.  That's the story as Jimin told it, and Jungkook later repeated it back when, a little while after that, one of the staff running a camera asked him how he got the bruise.

None of that is especially out of the ordinary -- we know they don't have much in the way of physical boundaries, and while it's true that neck-biting isn't exactly typical platonic behavior, the entire maknae line and Hobi already do things that seem a little out of the ordinary.  Imagine what they could get up to when alcohol is involved. 

I've discussed my thoughts about this in my post about Jikook, but they can be summarized as: I pretty much figure we can take their words at face value here and assume this story is the truth (because otherwise I doubt Big Hit would have put it in their content), and if we were to assume that it isn't the truth, that it's a fabrication to cover up a hickey, then I don't see why we would have to assume that the hickey came from Jimin in the first place.  If Jimin is already making up the story, why not also that aspect of it?

The same can be said for the other bite mark instance you've mentioned.  Yes, Jimin, Jungkook, and Jin did a V Live together in a hotel (the iconic, "Hey stob it!!" live lol, I believe) and Jimin was making to leave.  Jungkook grabbed him and told him not to go, and threatened (?) him to get him to stay on the live by saying that if he left, Jungkook would post a selfie (of himself, alone) where people think it looks like he has a hickey.  (People know this because he did eventually post it by the way.)

From what I understand, a lot of Jikookers think the fact that Jungkook threatened Jimin with this means that Jimin had something to do with the hickey itself.  But why?  Even if that were true, Jungkook just posting the selfie wouldn't have given anyone that information.  If Jungkook believed the threat of posting that particular picture would keep Jimin on the live (which is in itself not suspicious -- the guys often want to keep each other on the lives, I would guess because it makes them feel less awkward if there are other people there to help fill the time), then it was because he knew Jimin wouldn't want him posting a photo of himself with a hickey, in general.

Could that be because they were in a relationship at the time and Jimin didn't want anyone else seeing it?  I guess so.  But for one thing, you don't typically leave marks on someone and then not want other people to see them lol.  And also, that's only one possibility.  The other is that he was concerned about their squeaky clean image and didn't want Jungkook messing with it.  I guess we can all decide for ourselves which possibility we think is more likely.

As for the last thing you mentioned, that when Jikook and "hickey" were trending, the two of them posted a selfie together, that I don't know about.  I've never heard that before, but that doesn't mean it isn't true.  Personally, even if it is true, I'm not sure how much it matters or how likely it is that it had anything to do with the trending hashtags, especially if it happened during the time when they were in the habit of posting together a lot more.  But for all I know, that's true, I really have no idea.

Ultimately, there's a ton of content out there, and the best thing I can tell you or anyone else is just to look at it, you know?  I appreciate the chance to talk about my own opinions on these topics, but it's not like I'm a holy font of BTS shipping knowledge lol.  There's original content, Taekook content, Jikook content -- anything you could possibly want -- and I feel like the best thing anyone can do is just watch it for themselves and draw their own conclusions.  If you check out Jikook content and it makes you doubt Taekook, that's okay

But you also might find that if you check it out for yourself, the relationship Jikook actually have presents itself very clearly to you as different from the one you see between Taekook, and you won't have to feel this anxiety about individual moments that other shippers bring to your attention.  Of course it's also okay if you're just not interested in doing that, but I just feel like when it comes down to it, individual moments can never really compare to the overall sense of an entire relationship, because specific moments can always be obscured, talked around, or lacking crucial context.

Thank you for your informative posts. You both always do so well. I'd love to hear your thoughts about BTS carsharing. I don't personally agree, but some fans think of it as "absolute proof" that their ship is real or much more closer compared to others.

Admin 1: I’ll go first since, once again, I have less to say about this topic. I’ve been ARMY for years and up until perhaps halfway through 2020 when I noticed shippers using the “driving together” argument as irrefutable proof and holding onto it like their lives depend on it, I never paid any attention at all to which member shared a car with whom. Yes, I do know about that time vmin arrived at the airport together with Yeontan and that was super adorable, but did I think that was proof of vmin being real? No. That thought didn’t even cross my mind. And it still doesn’t.

Those cars are their company cars, meaning the ones they take during work. Those are not their private cars which they take during their private time. If they were, then I’d be inclined to discuss if two members always sharing a car might mean something (though even then not necessarily romance wise), but as long as they are company cars with a company driver and at least one manager present inside taking them from schedule to schedule, often times who goes with who being decided by their security team based on surely a plethora of factors we know nothing about, I couldn’t care less who drives with who because, in my opinion, it doesn’t mean anything in connection to ships, true relationships and how close any of the members are with each other, or (even less about possible) romances within the group.

And yes, I would say the same thing if vmin would always drive together. Or if namjin would.

My counter question, actually, would be if the same people who argue that “this proves my ship is real because they always drive together” would think the same thing if instead vmin always drove together? Or do these rules, as always, only apply to their ship exclusively? It wouldn’t be the first time their hypocrisy and double standards would be glaringly obvious within such arguments, which is why I find them rather pointless.

Admin 2: I’ll admit that I look around different sns since I like knowing things, not only about BTS but in general, even politics. I’ll also admit that I sometimes do what a true fan shouldn’t do and watch things from sources (never, ever sasa/engs) we shouldn’t pay attention to on YT (even though Admin 1 tells me I shouldn’t do it). Based on that I’ve noticed how oftentimes the maknaes will leave a building or place and be directed by their security team where they should go, instead of them deciding that they will share cars because of their own ideas or friendships. It seems like it oftentimes simply isn’t their choice to make, but their managers and security team. 

In previous years when we usually only saw them arrive at airports and award shows, the constellations of who drove with who were much different than they are now that BTS are “stuck” in Korea due to the pandemic. Often JK arrived at the airport with Hobi (or any of the other hyungs), while Jimin and Tae came together. Not always, since Jimin sometimes arrived with Namjoon, but often enough, and they’d sometimes even arrive late.

My opinion is that JK and Jimin nowadays drive together simply on the sole basis that they work closely together, they are the lead and main vocals after all and share dance parts with each other as well, and if people want to describe it as “them being closest together” then yes, I agree, but only when it comes to their work. Which is also why they drive a car together from schedule to schedule.

Let’s remember their pas de deux for Black Swan at MMA (which was magnificent). It’s the best kind of example for why they share a car since they simply have similar schedules. Just learning that pas de deux to be able to dance it so gracefully and beautifully on water no less, takes an enormous amount of time and practice.

Even from a more safety angle, it’s safer for those two to be in one car. Compared to the hyung line, the maknaes are far more “under threat” due to the sheer obsession some people have when it comes to these three and when obsession is involved, people can be unpredictable. By putting at least two out of three maknaes into the same car, their security team has it easier to keep a close eye on them and keep them safe.

Also seeing as Tae has been working on his mixtape for the better part of 2020, it makes complete sense that his schedule would be a little different than the others and by taking a car on his own, it gave him the flexibility of going to the BH building whenever he wanted to between other schedules and get in time for working on music without dragging along another member who’d want to do something else in that time, or have other obligations to attend to.

Often we see Jin and Yoongi in a car, or Yoongi and Hobi, and Namjoon being on his own or with Hobi, and none of that seems to be influenced by their personal bonds and relationships either, but rather their work related obligations and schedules.

We should keep in mind that BH isn’t a romance agency, but a company for idols, music and business, so BH doesn’t in that moment care about their personal feelings for each other, but simply goes by more business and schedule related reasonings. The only time in which I could believe that BH also follows some kind of agenda (and this is only my opinion, not fact) is when the members appear at some kind of event or place where they know people will see them exit their cars.

We don’t know anything about how any of the car sharing looks like on a daily basis, what their schedules are like, or even if the company cars pick them up at home or if the members meet up at the BH building and go from there. We simply don’t know. The only thing that is certain is that if they arrive at an award show already dressed accordingly, it’s only reasonable that they went from and will return to the agency to change back into their own clothes before going home.

JK likes driving his car, we know as much, so who’s to say that he doesn’t arrive at BH building in the morning leaving his car parked in the underground car park. Or if Yoongi or Jin or Hobi do the same thing. We also know that sometimes Namjoon used to take his bicycle to the BH building, or a time when Seokjin said he did the same and halfway there passed someone who greeted him though in the moment he had no idea who it was and later it turned out it was Yoongi on his bicycle returning from the BH building. As vminnies we should remember what Jimin said, that due to their differences in schedules Jimin and Tae weren’t even able to record any of Friends together, which is why they left those messages in the blank moment of the song behind for each other. Remember that vlive that Jimin and JK did making gimbap? On a weekend? Tae said he was at the BH building since the morning working on his music, which again shows how different their schedules on a day to day basis are.

When it comes to the “popular” opinion that’s being spread across all sns about “two members driving together must mean they are super close/are a couple”, I disagree with that. Sometimes when I look at those comments and the things they are implying, I actually kind of feel a little sorry for JK. It seems like those who push their agendas involving him don’t “allow” him any private life with his own thoughts and wants, but merely see him as this pawn that’s supposed to act just the way they want him to and as attachment for one or the other ship. They don’t “allow” him any time for himself, any time to recover and relax after a day of hard work, but just see him as part of their ship that always has to be together, that’s basically fused together at the hip and sees no other reason for anything they do other than being together (some even claiming that they do naughty things in the company cars on top of everything else). It’s almost like some don’t see him as his own person, which just is plain wrong.

Why doesn’t the same also apply to Jin and Yoongi, who oftentimes also share a car? Why do people accept and see it as obvious that Yoongi also needs some time on his own or to spend it with different members doing different things, or just being in his studio doing something for hours without anyone around? Why do people respect that and not immediately conclude that he’s “moved away” emotionally from the group like they so often imply with a certain maknae?

One observation I’d like to share, which shows that sharing a car doesn’t have to mean anything at all, would be the time after Bang Bang Con. The members left the building one after the other, and sure, JK and Jimin went together, after JK was directed toward the car Jimin was in by their security staff, but the interesting part is this: Jimin was the only member that left the building without a bag or purse or anything. Meanwhile Tae left with two, one of them looking like his own and the other like a bag that clearly belonged to Jimin. Both bags left with him. Or the time when they had their KBS interview where they arrived in one constellation yet left in a different one where Tae, Jimin, JK and Hobi shared a van even though they hadn’t done so upon arrival.

Both these instances, and many others, show us that their car sharing arrangements simply don’t mean a thing, in my opinion. 

If you’ve ever worked in a team or been part of a sport team or even a dance team, you know that you develop an entirely different level of closeness, especially as dancers where physical closeness is oftentimes key to certain choreographies and poses. But this closeness in conjunction to work is something entirely different from the type of closeness a couple has and can’t even be compared to it. Just look at figure skating pairs where the guys lift the girls into crazy poses while holding them by their butts or thighs and they have no issue with such closeness, which you might assume could mean they are also actual couples, but the thing is that most pair skaters are not. Most of them have other partners or marriages because that closeness to a romantic partner is entirely different from your skating partner, even if they are your closest friend.

Vmin don’t share cars, and yet at the end of the day Tae still texts Jimin that he’s too lazy to move and that instead Jimin should come sleep next to him.

So once again we are to this point when it comes to the Christina + Ruby server drama. Now I realize I made a YouTube video that explained my disgust of certain Fanfic Writers writing community of Lovecraft Country that write for the Ruby and Christina fandom that's ran by Kswhateverspace and Hernameisjaye. Now know it looks like I bullied somebody but that's far from the case, as every action has a reaction. Now because the situation I wasn't going to go too much into it until, someone told me about the twisted mess both Kwhateverspace and the other admins were saying. And it had come to alot of my members attention that they done stuff with members in the past and it has clearly made people unhappy to a point where they aren't talking in thier own server. When it comes to the Ruby plus Christina server owned by Kwhateverspace, I joined with decent intentions and it thought it was a community that shared a love for Christina and Ruby, but it turned out to be a Sixth-Grade Mean Girls Special on Crack. I never wanted it to get to a racial points between servers, but it is looking like these white women with a Misguided Black Woman as thier Server Owner, obviously do not know what true racism is and how to handle their power as Admins and accept others opinions. And the saddest part is that not just me but other members have been kicked out for absolutely no reason and I don't know if anybody seen Kswhateverspace Blog. But everything on there is just about a lie, she claims that all of us violated the rules but nobody was given any warning before being kicked out. Now mind you I do know that the rules exist but the rules should have been implemented for more extremer conditions, but none of us members took it to that level. The issue that I have with the other server is their ability not to gauge a situation at any kind of frequency of balance as they just kick off people who they don't like. A friend of mine who's in my Discord now got kicked for absolutely saying a joke it was nothing that was malicious or ill intent to these people, and while I get that respecting their mental health as Fan Fic writers is a thing to do, me and others always supported before we started reading racist ass Ruby and Chirstina fics. This friend of mine was enthusiastic about reading their stories and very supportive and we all kept a good positive energy that could be see in my current Discord. The issue that the Admins on the Christina + Ruby Server is that they made someone's enthusiasm for a story seem like it was an issue with harassment and that was not cool eespically when she meant it in a LOL kind of way. There was no reason for her to get kicked off just like there was no reason for my other friends to get kicked off and there was no reason for ME to get kicked off. I understand people were all into safe spaces and making safe spaces but as Admins they should've addressed thier complaints to people in warnings, but the kicked people for simply commenting. Thus making thier own server and its members uncomfortable to be themselves and thats when becomes a dangerous place and if I hadn't of known that I would've never ended my own server to expose my friends to their toxicity. The issue between the Admins is that pride themselves on being Admins, but the lack leadership skills and comprehension skills necessary for it. For me as an Admin if there was an issue with a person's comments I would talk to them in Dm's and warn them. So for them to say that they're not big on public warnings that is fine, but when you do not privately warn somebody for a simple comment and for them to get kicked the next day something isn't right. Also how can a behavior improve if there is no communication between an Admin and their members? Me as an Admin I dont function that way, I always take the time if someone comes to me with a complaint to address the person on DMs. And if you read Kwhateverspaces blog on the issue and the screenshots nothing she says parallels to the intent in which these comments where said.

The issue that I have with this group is there ability to flex around their power an act like we had did something so wrong when we were simply just expressing our opinions. And we were well within our respectable means to address our opinions in the saddest part is that these admins are white within a predominantly black server and they do not get our way of culture.

Now as for the next member who was kicked it was totally uncalled for as she questioned why I was gone due to the fact that I told Hernameisjaye to learn her Black History due to the fact that she and another member Agent Sheryl did not understand why I did not think Christina was racist I had a whole You Tube Video about it. So they knew my opinion on it and why they chose to double team me on an opinion was so uncalled for. So when I made the comment that I'm sorry if I dont want to be black and militant to a character that I dont find as racist she flipped out on me, and kicked me I never called her anything I told her the truth and if you've seen my YT people know I could've taken it alot further with these Birdbrain Hoes. Nevertheless until a certain point I thought we were having a decent civil discussion, yet she took it out of context very fast when I said what I did and as for the Black History factor you could see that they were giving no concern to it and only cherry picking my words to make me seem antagonistic to them, as I was telling them about the harm that white women had done in history vs Christina Braithwhite. Now mind you I had told Hernameisjaye several times that she is entitled to her opinion and I was entitled to mine and it's as you could see on the time stamps. At one point I thought it was a civil discussion, that was until I got kicked out for it. It's clear that these Admins have no commonsense to read a room and come to a basic agreement, even as I was telling them they have an opinion and I have mine and I respect it. And yes I was mad for the kick and I did warn Kswhateverspace that I would be going to my platform with it and she even gave her approval of it as I do have the screen shots for that as well.

Hernameisjaye along with Agent Sheryl had been going on a Christina is racist rant for two days, and both were very antagonistic to those in the Serious Discussions Discord Server, who engaged her. I even went so much so to agree with her just to shut her up, yet she kept on at agonizing me and another member to the point of harassment. It was clear that they had spoken about us, before as they were so ready to kick us AGAIN WITH OUT WARNING US PRIOR. Now I will be continuing the Dandybear situation on part two. However I find it messy that these Admins cherry picked our conversations that me and the other member thought where civil and tried to turn it into something uncivilized on our end. This is the same kind of intent that always happens when it comes to black and white people, it always happens that a white person says something out of line and then when black person gets mad then they act as if the black person had antagonized and started the situation. Hernameisjaye is really sad at this point to try a tactic like that, and it's detrimental that shes allowed racism into her group, but has dropped the people that meant her no harm with there opinions as FELLOW BLACK WOMEN.

The Admins Kwhateverspace and Hernameisjaye claim that they want freedom for people to express themselves, but they act like bullies when the situation is not to their favor. Yet it was after the fact that told a lie and still continue to tell one after another member and I were kicked, that made the situation worse. You can read the screenshots of my responses on Kwhateverspaces blog or this one qnd you can clearly see I did nothing in the wrong, as I was coming at Hernameisjaye as one black woman to another. And if she had talked to me in DMs and cleared things out maybe I would've apologized for the comment even if I personally thought I wasn't wrong for it, as I had no shame in my game to apologize even when I'm not wrong.

YET the point I cant stand the most is that they overreacted to a statement I made, and yet they allowed a racist fan fic writer to stay in group. It is clear these Admins don't have thier heads on straight as they kick us out for having a simple opinion or objection to common discussion. Now I do understand there is a level of what Admins can take and what they cannot take, but when you do not make those boundaries clear and when other members make their boundaries clear when your antagonizing them, and you still keep doing it theres something wrong with you as a leader. All I have to say is look at the screenshots and out responses to ours.

Here’s the thing , Dean’s death wasn’t a sacrifice. Definitely not a success story( his death in particular). Had he died fighting Chuck or saving someone, then it would have been. Instead he was impaled by a rebar, not even turned by a vampire. Dean finally was going to live a life on his own terms. He stopped being a kid , the moment he ran out of the house on that fateful night. His sole purpose wasn’t being a parent/elder brother to his kid brother. He had suffered far too much, and DESERVED to live ON EARTH. Not the happiness in heaven story.

Imagine if Tony Stark(had he lived) , after defeating Thanos, died while fighting some amateur robbers. Tha what this felt like.

Also , Dean did approve of Eileen . Correct me if I’m wrong, doesn’t Sam ask Dean at some point if he thought about settling someone who knew the life?(again I don’t remember exactly) . Also Eileen is nothing like Ruby.

That being said, I don’t know if what Jared said is something that is his own opinion or something he would say because he won’t speak bad about his employer. Regardless, he is entitled to his own opinion.

Does it somewhat hurt to see these things? Yes . Honestly, I haven’t been in the fandom long, just saw some posts here and there, watching YT videos of cons and stuff . I for one, had been the person who binge watched the show in two stretches 3 years ago and then caught up on the episodes now and then. I actively started being on tumblr only in November .So , I can’t imagine what others might feel on reading certain things.

However, civil discussions is the way to go. Not that I’ve come across many destructive comments, only people condemning any such actions. For the record, I don’t hold any celebrity on a high pedestal. I adore them but also realise and understand and keep in mind things that should not be ignored.

Abt Stephanie, she apparently went through addiction (no judgment ofc!!) and that seems to have effected her relationship with axl but also the main things are imo that she cheated on him and I do think she's a bad mother bc I heard (from a comment on a yt vid I can't find it) that she threw a party with drugs while her young kid was there too and I think axl was there as well im not sure 😔 also shes done weird photoshoots with her kids i dont like the vibes. I wasn't able to find anything to confirm what you said about a party with drugs that her children were at. I have no comment there. Also idk how I feel about discussing drugs and her children, just because of her son's overdose and death.

I definitely agree that I don't like the vibes of the photoshoots she's done with her kids. That's really weird to me. My jaw dropped when I first saw the pics Google showed me, because it made me really uncomfortable. Celebrities definitely do some odd stuff with their kids, but posing in lingerie with your children (one of whom was underage) is not right to me. I hated reading the headlines that she "posed sexily with her sons" 😬.

Also, you didn't mention this, but I read that her son said, "I am openly gay . . . and yes, our relationship may be different because of my sexuality.” in reference to how close he is with his mom. That definitely sits wrong with me. I don't like anyone that treats someone differently because of their sexuality. Not a good look if your son is publicly calling you out in that way, Stephanie...

About her using men for her career when she was young, I definitely don't know the circumstances, but she may have been manipulated or groomed. I read that she dated a 42 year old when she was 16. I don't think she had the power in that relationship. That's creepy on the man's part, regardless of any effect it may have had on her career. That's not to deny that she may have later on tried to use famous men as leverage. I'm not accusing her, but it would be foolish to deny that it happens all the time in LA.

NYCC 2019 Outlander  a sort of life ...

Discovered OL just over a year ago. What a ride! I think I’m still in one piece, though have a few scars! Only joined Tumblr a few weeks ago. This is my first original post for Tumblr. In at the deep end!! Sometimes I don’t know where I am on the Sam and Cait ‘are they, aren’t they’ continuum. I know I’m not alone. I have watched NYCC 2019 a number of times now, it is so good. Ginger and the cast were in fine form.

However, there is a section that I found particularly intriguing. I’m not sure why there was such emotion amongst some of the panel at this point. There are 2 full versions available publicly. The one that piqued my interest was the live stream version that I find on Facebook (not the final official version on YouTube).

 FB search: Outlander NYCC Panel. There are differing camera angles between the two versions. YT version has a long-shot of this part. The streamed version has a much closer mid-shot as per below. You can see expressions, body language and interaction between these 4 members quite clearly. I’ve watched this 3-4 min part many times and almost always notice new things with each subsequent viewing as it’s hard to focus on 4 people at the same time. So I am putting this out there hoping some may find it as interesting as I did. Apologies if this particular part has already been discussed in detail elsewhere, but as a Tumblr newb, I haven’t found it as yet. It really helps to watch the streamed video on a good screen, the bigger the better to catch it all. 

44:38 Caitriona is speaking and her voice breaks a bit on the words: really true, when speaking about her marriage with Frank before the Stones. Please view vid around this mark for context. Duncan shifts his gaze after C says this. Sam’s foot is swinging (body language experts pls) and his eyes are getting moist and he shifts position and puts his hand to his mouth (to stop his mouth trembling?). Meanwhile, Maria is getting emotional listening to this and her eyes glint. Brave C tries to say something else but decides not to and she plays with her hair as she does when I think she feels vulnerable/emotional/unsure. Duncan claps a little and tries not to shed a tear I think. C finishes and is trying hard to hold it together. Seeing that S is a bit emotional makes it hard for her I think. I found this short bit a start of the emotions found later from 47:59 where Cait then talks about Claire not being her full self and living as a compromised woman in the 60′s without living to her potential back with Jamie. 

As Cait continues, 48:14 Sam pinches his nose and wipes his mouth and I sense becomes a little more emotional as do Duncan and Maria.

48:16 Sam thinks Cait is about to specifically describe the time J and C are apart and motions accordingly, but Cait talks about a slightly different part and you see her foot move up in recognition, like a sympathetic reflex, that she saw Jamie’s gesticulation and I think S sees this acknowledgment.  

48:39 Maria and Duncan become more emotional and it’s on their faces. Sam is listening and watching like a hawk and he is getting more emotional. 

48:47 Sam shrugs his shoulders as a sympathetic reflex of his own?

48:49 I don’t quite know how Cait kept it together whilst she spoke, maybe she had made that point before and/or rehearsed it - which is fine. She is quite emotional when she finishes as is Sam. Duncan is eyeing her I think, to see if she is ok? (relatively speaking). Cait does very well to recompose herself from that emotional place. That’s some heavy stuff there. I think when C says ‘ .. their hearts and their souls are ageless with each other.’ C sees Sam is emotional and that sets off C even more I think? M smiles at Cait’s last line. Why is it so emotional for the four of them? Was C tactfully emphasising her mature love view of JC (that OL is not a skin show)? She has copped a bit of flack that S4 doesn’t have a lot of intimate scenes along with her horny grannies podcast comment.

Is she saying she can’t live a normal married life (with whomever it is i.e.Tony, or Sam or someone else)? If it’s with Sam, the 4 cast members would know and empathise with the SC together narrative - that they are hiding it for security reasons and/or NDA. Or C is married to Tony and S loves C and knows he will never have her and C knows this and can see S is upset? Or he doesn’t quite approve of C and T? Are they reminiscing about the simple, heady euphoria they seemed to enjoy in the early days and things now have become so much more complicated? Or something happened but they are still fond of that time? These are just my thoughts. Happy to look at all other scenarios 

48:55 Duncan is upset and now wipes a tear. Can’t eye-roll that one away. Sam’s eyes are quite moist. He’s trying to keep it together as does C. I imagine the pre-panel drinks have kicked in by now which can emphasis emotions. I don’t blame them for needing dutch courage for the panel. They would have been on tenterhooks about so many things. Maybe they had a choice, maybe they didn’t. 

48:59 Thankfully the next fan question is delivered quickly and a nice comment about Underarmour activewear gives SC a reason to smile and press on quickly. It was good to see SC smile at each other and regain some composure. Whatever the backstory is, I felt for them. All four smile as the fan’s question continues and they needed that. C is smiling and mirroring Sam nodding along to the irons in the fire fan question and is fidgeting with the corner of a piece of paper whilst listening which is similar to Sam’s recent foot swinging.

49:26 Now this is very interesting! Most of us know about Cait’s head shake when the fan asked Sam ‘Do you sleep, ever?’ Duncan smiles and turns his head to SC and when Duncan sees Cait shaking her head, I believe Cait and Duncan make eye contact. D’s smile drops straight away, which C sees. D’s thinking, what are you doing? Cait’s thinking, Yes, what am I doing? D turns away with a serious face and continues his beard stroking. C’s head doesn’t move but her eyes drop in contemplation or ?. Then her head drops and she has a big swallow. She raises her eyebrows to stop a tear from falling? We’ve all done that. I’d like to really know what is happening there?? I’m sure you would also. She is emotional and shortly recomposes herself to an extent. 

The second part of the question to S was 'Do you have a particularly favourite season or scene from OL ..’? Then S takes this opportunity to tell his ‘what is Jamie like without Claire story’, again. Is he answering the question or trying to share an allegory of their relationship secrets?? Not sure why he would refer to that bit otherwise? C had possibly just put her allegory out there, so S wants to support that with his. Perhaps SC had discussed this breadcrumb code beforehand?? If not that scenario, they still appear to be alluding to something! 

49:57 Sam says, ‘He found is way back. He found a sort of life, I think’ and Cait nods with her head down. And then there was some tension relief from C and DB. Ha, Ha! And S says the Wedding Scene! Everyone laughs. Phew!

50:42 Cait gets something out of her eye a few times past this point.

51:41 Sam wipes his eye. And is still emotional.

52:15 DB gets something out of his eye. May not be anything. Could be something in the air!

These snapshots are of the streaming video and would be covered by the fair use policy I would think.

There is a lot happening in these few minutes. I’m sure you’ll find something else as well. I feel sometimes that I have invaded their privacy by looking at this under a microscope. However, it is a public event and the video is in the public domain. They know some will analyze it. That’s one reason they are on tenterhooks I think. Unfortunately, with so much conflicting disclosure and non-disclosure, we can’t really be blamed for trying to join the dots I don’t think. 

I’m trying to be reasonably objective here although it is hard for me to be totally unbiased. I just find this interesting. If you don’t, then that’s totally fine. But the second i go around and say i identify as black, and even go and actively change my skin color (like a reverse michael jackson, and it already happened in some cases too), not only everyone would see that as disrespectful, but i would be actively be ignoring the fact that im as white as a sheet. And try to put any other part of me in the place of the word "black". and youll see why im concerned. We are in the era of ignoring the facts, and this is one of them. I will end by saying, im actually a transhumanist, if you can believe it. I believe in the power of humans to become whatever they like. But just like natural evolution, you cant outgrow your anchestry. We can evolve ourselves (genetically or by body modification) in something new, but we cant stop being the sons and daughters of our anchestors. We are still monkeys, we are still mammals, we are still amniotes, we are still eukariotes. We can evolve in more branches, not jump between them. A woman can evolve a new way to be woman, that looks like a man, but she cant become a man. That wont stop her being a person either, it just a delusion, and we shouldnt be shaming delusions either. Why would you go out of your way to tell people who've made a choice ,that affects their life and not yours, that they are wrong?  Why force people to be confined to the "limits" of our reality? You really think that they're going to listen to you and force themselves to be miserable living a life they can't stand? Are they hurting anyone? No. Are they hurting themselves? Most cases, no. Event Hʘriךּon: xXComplexXx why do i care about reality? because when people think something, they act upon it. Its not true that it doesnt affect anybody else. we share a reality, what other people do affect everyone. Otherwise we wouldnt take care of schizofrenic people, or narcisistic ones, or we would leave cults alone. You dont get to live in a pocket dimension. If someone in their mind think they are better than everyone else, that will impact how they act, who they vote, influence everything around them. If someone think they are trash, they wont fight for themselves when the time comes, they might think that life doesnt matter and not intervene to save others or themselves when they could. It matters. It matters if someone thinks that god will care for them in the next life, and their loved ones will burn in hell if they dont convince them that their god is real. It affect everybody. They might think that their god has a plan for their children, so they wont cure them if they get a disease. It matters. It matters when we let go of reality because the inside of our mind feels better. Expecially because in your mind you are alone. And we need to be less alone, not more. And inside your mind no one can criticise you, or teach you new things, or make new experiences. You can tell yourself stories and no one can say otherwise. we need to live in the real world. If they feel miserable in the real world, that is a symptom of depression, and psychologists exist for that exact purpose. And detachment and dissociation is unhealty.

Social Media

It's bizarre to me how much experience in internet changed, especially tools which the purpose for was striking conversation and facilitating that. Many would say social media started with FB, but the reality was it already existed in MSN and then Skype, and before those it was forums and IIRC's. MSN and Skype made it so we would talk to each other, be it in groups or 1-on-1, and it felt like we were all connected.

Along the way, somehow social media became...disconnected, lonely, anti-social itself. Most of the tools are made so you're not talking with people. Likes, RTs, Reblogs, whatever else? It's interaction but not socializing.  We're just screaming into the void, hoping someone sees, notices us, answers us. It's become the antithesis of what social media should be. Interacting directly with words has become a bygone thing for a lot of people. Many would say, well that's why online friendships are not real, but even with family and friends that we know IRL there's less interaction, less realness. A lot of things are staged, as if it only happens if it's posted online, with pictures, and people congratulating you online even though that cousin? You haven't seen them in 5 years, and never messages you. It's very hypocrite. Mostly though? It's sad that we've had so much progress in technology, but it seems socially we're devolving. This is why mostly I am not in social medias, and by that it means I do HAVE them. I have a Twitter I sometimes check, a FB for family and friends, my websites to track what I do like GoodReads, Trakt, Anime-Planet, Grouvee, etc; but mostly? I prefer the social media that are made for actual messaging and talking with people, not at people. LINE is my fave because of the stickers, and my online friends are there. You can have groups and just chat about whatever. It's so much more real than having a lot of followers which never speak to you, that act like robots just liking or RTing, and I'm not much better. It's very easy to fall into those habits with social media like Twitter, it's done so it's fast-paced and forgettable. But I don't want to forget, I want to connect, make friends, engage, be real, be unforgettable. Disclaimer: I don't like discord because it reminds me of IIRC days, which I really don't like how it was. Also just feeling nostalgic when internet was easier to be, to have fun, and connect, where it was just people hitting it off over common hobbies and likes. A lot of that has left. Social media has become a paradise for SJW/fandom patrollers, and become incredibly toxic even with block and mute buttons. That's why I wasn't surprised when YouTube is actually one of the few social media that gives less depression/anxiety. Why? Because in YT you control what you're seeing. On social media like Twitter/etc, you can't really truly control because friends will RT things, they'll talk about things that might be heavy/downer without warning. I also see a lot of people complain that they feel invisible online, and it's no wonder when everyone is just screaming into a void, instead of speaking WITH people. Social media are no longer made to connect and talk with people, but instead a lot of platforms are made just to engage with big accounts, make money for the platforms, and they're not even made for long discussions, in-depth talk. Instead they're made for throwaway messages, mostly with gifs and memes, or likes. It's no surprise that Twitter thrives. It's the shortest of them. Y'all might think, but bitch you're right now writing a blog entry which is also a social media. Yes, but tell me, how popular ARE even blog platforms anymore? WordPress is popular, for those that blog or have websites. But it's actually an incredibly small niche. Smaller than you think. I've been involved and the top bloggers for anime community are maybe 5, 10 max. The rest falls to the wayside sooner or later. And the same will be for book reviewers, etc. Blogging has been something that's steadily died, the same as forums. Big time forums have seen their users leave for popular social medias. Reddit is a micro-forum, in a sense, but it ephemeral and comment sections will not go on 800+ pages like in some forums for 1 game discussion. Umineko, and Higurashi, had 800+ pages of discussion on 1 forum for EACH game. That was back when the anime community was on forums. Nowadays you can find them on popular social media, and some you can find on MAL forum of the discussions. I'mnot saying by this that there is NO forums, or NO bloggers. I'm saying it's stopped being popular, people stopped engaging and wanting to discuss things. People nowadays just want to throw their opinion, and their opinion as cement, their opinion as being the only right thing in the world. I miss debates, I miss discussions, I miss engaging in a way that is not shallow with a lot of people I meet but I find I can't deepen because it's just awkward on those sites. Messaging apps/websites are niche; blog websites like dreamwidth, Liveajournal, WordPress are niche; and that's a big pity. As technology evolves, we get more detached as people from others because it's just easier than having to do effort, than having to find a way to have long conversations. Twitter has DM limits, and also tweet limits, as does Tumblr, Facebook, etc. And that should tell you something.

Hi, yes, of course you can :) I think you’ve mistaken Patrick for Boyang though, because the one whose landing I called not very pretty in that one post of mine was actually Chiddy :) It’s this one jump:

You see, the issue with this jump Patrick did was that he lost some control on the landing and touched down on the ice with the tip of his toe rather than his full blade as what is ideal. As a result, he had to kick his free leg up and swung it behind to act as a counterbalance, otherwise he’d have fallen forward. It is very different from what Ana likes to do with her landing, which is deliberately bringing her free leg up to show her control and running edge. 

See how her landing was on a deep, solid edge and how she squared off her shoulder and arms in a very nice check position before transitioning to the catch-blade movement? Some senior ladies also like doing a similar motion, though not as extreme, in which they would hold their landing edge and bring their free leg up as if they are about to enter a spiral. This can ensure they get the GOE bullet on “good extension on landing / creative exit” checked. Here’s Kaetlyn doing it as an example:

Ultimately, the difference between what Ana (and Kaetlyn) did and what Patrick did can be boiled down to a simple distinction: the ladies’ motion was entirely optional - it added to the aesthetics and gave them extra GOE, but it really didn’t help stabilizing their landing in any way (quite the contrary, actually), whereas if Patrick hadn’t done what he did, he’d likely have fallen on, or at a minimum, stepped out of that landing, which is why I called his motion “saving the jump”.

I love Anastasia Tarakanova too! I loved her since I first noticed her in Austria JGP. Her energy when skating and the speed of her spins are just next level. Just wondering though. I apologize in advance in this is out of line, but if I can give you one advice, it’d be: never look at YouTube comments for a technical discussion on figure skating, or for a vast majority of anything in life, generally.

Now I am no prophet so I cannot tell for sure what the future will bring, but going by my observation, among the 6 incredible girls we see at the JGPF, Ana is the one I currently have the most hope for. There is nothing fundamentally wrong with her jumps as far as I can see. I believe she used to have some trouble with her flip edge, but in her latest performances she has managed to put that jump on a slight inside edge, no question asked. Her takeoff is powerful and explosive. She doesn’t rely too heavily on rotational speed to complete her jumps as some junior girls tend to do, which can be a sign of trouble because as they grow up and their body develops, slower rotational speed is the one problematic area that could lead to under-rotation. Ana goes into her jump with a lot of speed and she is very good at transferring that velocity into the takeoff. Her air position is tight and neat, her Rippon technique in particular is amazing. You can see in this takeoff here how she actually used the varied air position to her advantage: by pulling her arms straight up in perfect timing with the impulse from her toe pick, she created more momentum for her jump and made her air position tighter.

Plus, Ana’s physique looks to be about the same type as Janny Medvedeva’s, and we all know that Janny has not lost her jump as she went through puberty. Also, with all due respect and love to our two-time World champ, Ana’s jumping technique is a lot better than what Janny had at age 13 :)

I completely agree. Little Ana has this fiery spirit in her skate that just completely captures my heart :D It is true that her skating skills and performance are not yet as polished and mature as some of her training mates (Alyona, for a notable example, whose SS and poise both are out of this world). Those are areas in which she can, and will, improve in the coming years. What I find most precious about the current Ana is her passion: she has this wild abandon to her movements which, especially when combined with her speed and intensity, makes her skate exhilarating to watch. It has a drawback, of course, in that it makes her somewhat less consistent, but again, consistency is something she can build on in the future, and she’s in good hands. If any coach in the figure skating world knows how to bring consistency to a skater’s game, it’s Eteri.

I don't understand why people are so upset about today's ear biscuits episode. I thought Rhett and Link made it pretty clear last week that they were going to leave eb in the crew's hands while they finish bs2 and have their break. There seems to be more of an outrage this week than last week's episode with alex and I don't get it. This isn't meant to be hateful. People can have opinions either way and it doesn't bother me. I'm just confused.

Hi, Anon. By now, a lot of others have covered this topic more eloquently than I’ll be able to, but I didn’t want you to think I was ignoring you. So, here’s my observations of some of the reasons why people are upset:

1. Some people didn’t know to expect another crew-central episode: In their intro last week to the first Crew Biscuit, Rhett and Link did discuss the fact that we were going to be receiving a “handful of Crew Biscuits” while they worked on Buddy System. Let’s be honest, though, there are many people in the fandom who don’t like Alex and choose not to watch/listen to anything with him in it. That’s a valid choice. But, if this led to them not watching/listening to R&L’s intro to the episode, they might not have known to expect another crew episode this week. I believe it came as a shock to some.

2. The Topic of this week’s Crew Biscuit: The initial Crew Biscuit episode was Stevie interviewing Alex. Link said in the intro that through the upcoming episodes, “You’re gonna gain insight into the lives of the people that we work with” (at the 2:50 mark). If you listened to/watched Alex’s interview, you probably did gain some insights about him (I did). Stevie and Alex both made references to future Crew Biscuit interviews. So, I assumed (as did others) that we could expect a similar format in the coming weeks. This seemed like the logical expectation, and would allow people to curate their listening/watching experience. (Don’t like a crew member? Cool. Don’t watch their Crew Biscuit.) Now, admittedly, I haven’t listened to this week’s episode, so I could be wrong, but it doesn’t seem like it’s going to follow that format. The way the topic is presented in the thumbnail seems less like an insight into the lives of Lizzie and Ellie, and more like clickbait. And, yes, people can decide not to watch it, but when you’re expecting one thing and get something else, it can be upsetting.

3. Calling it an Ear Biscuit: This relates a bit back to the first point of some people not knowing to expect crew, but... Some are upset because of the lack of consistency in naming the episodes. I understand that the episode is labeled as a CB on podcast services, but here’s what I’ve noticed people having a problem with: In the initial video clip of Stevie and Alex last week, Stevie starts it off by saying, “Welcome to Crew Biscuits!” But, the video with Lizzie and Ellie today begins with Ellie saying, “Welcome to Ear Biscuits!” If it’s a Crew Biscuit, call it that and be consistent. (Stevie seemed to recognize the importance of the distinction between an Ear Biscuit and a Crew Biscuit; she even had Alex sign underneath the table instead of on top with regular EB guests.) This isn’t something that will upset everyone, but, again, this is what I’ve observed.

4. Deleting comments: Someone on the crew is deleting comments on the YouTube video that were constructive criticisms (x,x). Had these fans been jerks in their comments, deleting them would be completely justified. But, these comments were simply fans expressing their opinions. It’s not sitting right with some (myself included) that once a criticism reached the top comment spot, it was deleted, even as other criticisms were left, buried further down in the comments. Is whoever deleted the one in the top spot worried that Rhett, Link, or Stevie might read it? (We know they don’t have time to read every comment on every video, but they may see ones at the top.) I was also thinking about what Link said in EB 99 about gaming the YT system. I won’t pretend to have any real knowledge about the way YT algorithms work, but Link did say, “To be clear... liking and commenting on a video feeds in, in ways that we’ve only guessed over the years” (starts around 6:27). If a comment isn’t defamatory, hateful, or harmful, isn’t it to the benefit of Mythical Entertainment for them to leave the comment so more fans are interacting with/about the video? It doesn’t seem like deleting these comments is being done with the best interests of Myth Ent in mind.

Wow... That ended up being longer than I expected. Sorry. I hope that cleared up why some people are upset about it, Anon.
