“Mm,” Jeongin kissed her shoulder, “How does being boyfriend and girlfriend sound?”

“I like that.”

“I was just waiting for you to be ready.”

“You’re too good for me.”

“Think I’m perfect for you.” Jeongin chuckled behind her

a/n why did this chapter take so long? because im a procrastinator :) . anyways, sorry for taking so long, and id say next chapter coming soon but…idk if i would be lying or not.

“did you leave the ac on?”

your boyfriend, who hovers behind you, goes stiff. a heavy sigh falls from his lips, ghosting across the back of your neck. “maybe.”

“jeongin, its freezing in here.” you whine as you shuffle into the hotel room, marching towards the stupid machine blasting cold air.

“I’m sorry.” as the machine shuts down you glance over your shoulder, only to see the most devastating set of puppy eyes known to man.

“no,” you warn. “don’t you dare try to weasel your way of of this one. I forgave you for the bed mix up, I guess I can overlook you scaring the cat away, but this is my last straw.”

jeongin doesn’t miss the way the corner of you mouth quirks upwards, you’re tone might have been serious but watching you fight back a smile encouraged him to take a step forwards, then another, and then another.

“jeongin,” you frown—your eyes sparkle with the smile that begs to break across your mouth. “get away from me.”

your back is pressed to the wall, jeongin’s body is growing closer to your own with each second. the cool of the room begins to melt away, jeongin’s approaching body heat wrapping you in its hold.

now, chest pressed to chest, jeongin’s mischievous eyes stare into yours.

“let me keep you warm?” his voice is low, and you feel his fingers brush against your own, hesitantly. “please? I mean it is my fault.”

“jeongin,” you mutter.

“yes, love?”

“why won’t you kiss me?”

a sharp breath enters through jeongin’s parted lips. “what?”

“you haven’t kissed me since my birthday, why?”

there’s a beat of silence, jeongin’s wide-eyed stare focused on the wall above your head.

“sorry,” you chuckle awkwardly—pushing yourself from the wall, causing jeongin to stumble back. “that was a stupid question,” your gaze lingers on the floor as you attempt to maneuver around jeongin’s frozen body. you push past him, heading towards the single bed.

the sheets and duvet are already crumpled from the first time the two of you had decided to settle in for the night, which obviously hadnt worked out—the time difference was effecting the two of you much more than either of you had thought it would. which lead the two of you to wander around paris, hand in hand, and try to tire yourselves out.

“seungmin texted me awhile ago,” you mutter—a poor attempt to change the subject and atmosphere. “he said when we get back to seoul we should-”

jeongin’s hands are holding your face, and his lips are moulding with your own—completely cutting your sentence off. his hold on you is soft, but no where near as soft as the sweet kiss he presses to your lips.

“-all have dinner together.”

“stop texting seungmin.”
