You have a bit of a bad habit. It started towards the end of high school and followed you through college all the way to now. What is it?
Felix.
Being around him, teasing him, edging your connection and tittering between giving him more and nothing at all is a thrill that you’ve grown addicted to.
He’s been by your side through it all, pinning for your undivided attention and you feed into it just enough to get his lips on yours. You get him to your bed but never in it. You don’t let him have that.
He falls for it every time, leaning into your trap and getting high off of the taste of your tongue against his just to watch you stick it down someone else's throat the next day. Just like tonight.
It’s Chan’s annual holiday shit show that he dares to call a party and you’re on Jeongin’s lap, kissing him and pulling into the same trap you’ve perfected with Felix. Your best friend watches, seething and throbbing in his jeans.
His mind comes up with excuses for your actions by default. He blames the alcohol, the atmosphere, himself. Everything but you and the game of cat and mouse you’ve been using against him.
When Jeongin’s hand grips your ass you pull back for air and whisper something that the man under you barely recognizes as a lame excuse to go find your next innocent victim.
You head to the kitchen, looking for something strong enough to inspire your next hunt but then you see Felix. He’s already looking at you, his blonde hair is pulled back under a black beanie, he wears a white tank tight over his body that’s partially hidden under his varsity jacket.
How could you resist?
The answer is, you can't.
You saunter right up to him and he watches you. His grip on the glass bottle in his hand tightens and you smirk at the faint twitch of his muscles.
The intent in his gaze is like cold water to your tipsy state. He sobers you up, gets you hot despite the chill of his undivided attention. You smile, planting your hands against his chest and he lets you, while he takes you in. His eyes follow the curve of your jaw, down the length of your neck and reverse back up to your lips. Then they flit back down. Is that a fucking hickey?
You take the bottle in his hand and gulp down a long swig, not bothering to ask. He doesn't stop you. His eyes are still fixed on the dark mark. His eyes trail down then up and over, looking for more and his fists tighten when he finds them.
"Jeongin?" Felix is asking a question, not stating the obvious. “You let him do that?” his gaze shifts from your neck to meet your eyes and suddenly you feel pinned.
This look on his face is new. dark.
"Yeah." You smirk, tilting your head and feigning your usual carefree act. "He's pretty good."
Felix grits his teeth. His jealousy is obvious, it always is but his anger is a bit harder to read. It’s rare that you ever see it. You know him well enough to recognize it though. The subtle clench of his jaw, the stiffness in his posture. And his gaze, hardened and unrelenting. Exposing.
“Shut up.” The bottle is snatched out of your hand and on Felix’s lips in an instant. He downs the rest of it and discards it onto the messy table beside him but you're still caught off guard by his response.
“What?” He tsks, staring back at you.
“I said, shut up.” You laugh. It comes out nervous, awkward, and forced. What’s going on?
"Lix..."
"No. Don't 'Lix' me, you can't keep doing this." His eyes are aflame, a dangerous glint and you shiver. Fuck, he’s actually pissed? “You're just giving attention to anyone who looks at you twice, huh? Anyone but me."
"It's not like that-"
"Bullshit. I see you. You’ve been playing this game for years. You wind me up then let me spin out of control while someone else gets to taste what I’ve been so patient for." Your eyes meet his. The tension between you is thick and you swallow, your mouth feeling suddenly dry.
"That's not-"
“Don't act stupid. This isn't fair.” What happens next surprises you and pushes Felix over the edge. You grin. Your lips turn up in a way that’s not playful or coy. No. It's smug. You're proud. You've gotten him to break and finally crack, his true feelings exposed. He's done being ignored.
"Well, you should've spoken up. I would've stopped." He's about to open his mouth, his temper growing and his neck shading a hot red when you press yourself closer. The game is shifting right before your eyes, you can see it in his.
“Stop playing with me.” His voice is low, husky and deep.
“I can’t.” You bring your hand up to push a fallen strand of hair back from his face but his hand grips your wrist, pulling your attention back to him.
"Can't? Or won't?"
"Both." You mumble. “I can’t help myself.”
"Don't bullshit me." His tone is low, eyes blazing and half-lidded and you can't tell if he's challenging you or warning you. So you make it a challenge.
"What are you gonna do about it, Lix?" He pulls you closer by his grip on your wrist. Your chest is flush to his. The tight fabric of your shirts are all that’s separating you from him, the only thing prolonging your inevitable spiral.
"Don't start anything you can't finish." He whispers but you can hear him loud and clear over the music.
"Why not?" You ask, grabbing the collar of his jacket and pulling him closer, "Don’t you not want me, baby?" Your lip gloss stains the rim of his collar. Your perfume clouds his senses and he’s pulling you through the party and over to the stairs.
"Wait! Wait, wait." You're giggling, a giddy sound as he pulls you up the stairs. You're stumbling over his feet, your own, and the steps, "Lix, what’re you-"
"Shut up." You can't stop laughing and smiling, your heart racing. He's finally snapping, getting the balls to put his money where his mouth is.
“Felix, I am not fucking you at a party.” He's annoyed, his grip on your wrist is too tight and the hallway is dim. Felix leans down, pressing you against the wall at the top of the stairs and pushing some random drunk guest to the side to make room for you. His forehead to yours, locking your gazes.
“Where do you want me to fuck you then? Cause I’m gonna have you. I’m gonna wipe that pretty smile off your face and I’m gonna do it tonight. So, where do you want me?”
Your breath catches, your words lost in the sudden heat. The game is changing, you're the one losing control now. Your confidence is wavering.
"Speak up." His nails bite into your wrist and he presses himself firmer against you. "Tell me, princess."
You can't think, he's got you backed into a corner. Literally. This is all new, this side of him, a dark and dominant one that has you squirming and aching to get a taste of his lips again. The side that you’ve created.
"Tell. Me." You swallow. Your mind is foggy and he's looking down at you with that cold sharp gaze that has you sure that he’ll choose for you if you don’t act fast.
"Home." You manage. "Take me home."
You've never seen him move so fast. He's practically dragging you out of the party and to his car, your heart pounding and mind racing. The entire drive back is silent. Neither of you can think. He can't decide how he wants to do it. Hard and slow, gentle and quick. All of the above.
Felix parks his car, it’s crooked and he couldn’t care less. When the two of you get inside he gives you a second, just a second to kick off your shoes before he’s pinning you to the wall by the front door.
His lips are on yours, swallowing your gasp and taking away the breath you were holding. He’s never kissed you like this before. It’s possessive, wild, and so hot. The way he handles you is rough and quick. His hands grip your waist, pulling you forward then moving to cradle the back of your head with one hand while he walks you over to his room. It’s clumsy and messy but you make it.
The back of your knees hit the bed frame and Felix watches as you fall back. He takes it in for a second - the way your chest rises and falls with the rush of him. The way you look at him, trying to guess his next move.
"Are you nervous?" His voice is a whisper, his question almost a taunt.
"No." There’s a waver in your attempt to be confident and he catches it. He smirks.
Felix rids himself of his jacket then pushes his tank top up his torso just enough for you to see more of him. Your teeth sink into your bottom lip and his smirk turns into a smile. He’s definitely taunting you.
"Liar." His hands find yours and he holds them above your head. His lips attach to your neck, kissing down the curve of it and biting his own bruises on top of the ones that Jeongin left.
"Fuck, Lix." You moan. "I’m sorry."
"Now she’s sorry" His hips rock forward, pressing his hard-on against your thigh. You try to hide the whimper that leaves you but it’s no use. He’s zeroed in, he’s in charge now. "Tell me why I should believe you. After everything, after all the times you've had your tongue down someone's throat and not mine."
You groan, rolling your hips. "I’m sorry, I-"
"I'm the only one that can have you, right, baby?" He whispers, his tongue runs along the shell of your ear and your breath stutters.
"Yes." You resign to the electricity coursing between the two of you and buck up into him, desperately chasing the charge of your bodies.
“Do you think that you being sorry is going to stop me from ruining you?”
“I don’t want you to stop.” The admission leaves you before you can really think about it. Your brain is fuzzy with thoughts of Felix, it always is but you’ve never given in this far. You can feel him smile against you, his tongue grazes over the bruises he’s created then he pulls back to get a better look at you.
“That’s good, princess.” His voice vibrates his chest and through you before resonating in the space around you. “Cause we’re gonna play a little game.”
You’re losing it.
“You can do better than that, come on.” Felix’s grip on your hips is bruising as he guides you back against him. His idea of a game is much more cruel than yours or at least that’s what your brain is telling you.
He’s been building you up, chasing a high with you just to make a surprise turn when you’re seconds away from the pinnacle you’ve so desperately fucked him for.
“That’s it, that’s fucking it, baby.” He lets you go, letting you fuck back onto him while he runs his fingers through his platinum locks. You’re drooling at both ends, burning to the bottom like a forgotten candle with the way your orgasm is flickering into view with each stuttered roll of your hips against him.
“You’re not gonna get my cum like that, baby.” The sound of his hand coming down on your ass hits your ears faster than you can react. He spanks your other cheek right after, palming the flesh with a groan. “I should fuck a baby into you. I should - fuck - I should knock you up, keep you as mine forever, yeah?”
A sob is all that you can offer in return, a moan so lewd that it nearly doesn’t sound like you, “Please… let me.. Felix, please…”
He can’t decide if he likes the sounds of you begging or moaning more. He leans over your body, holding you down so that you're full and still while he takes your hair into his fist and pulls back. Your eyes drift to meet his and it’s then that Felix feels real pleasure. When you look at him like he’s looked at you for years. Like he holds the key to everything you’ve ever wanted.
“God, you’re so pretty, baby.” He rolls his hips and your eyes go with it. “Beg some more.”
“Please let me cum.” You whimper, fisting the bedsheets and curling your toes. “I wanna cum for you.”
Felix hisses a curse that you take as confirmation just before he starts moving again. He sits up, his fist still in your hair while his other hand grips at your hip. He thrusts into you a way that’s too neat to be reckless. It’s practiced and lethal and it’s tearing you apart.
His grunts are so deep that they barely register beyond your gasping moans. You tremble and drip and grab at the mattress like it can save you from the fall you're taking. You clench and throb and Felix drinks it in with his bottom lip between his teeth.
“I’ve got you, baby. Finish for me.” His voice is strained, his own orgasm flickers just out of view as he burns to the bottom. But he doesn’t want this to end.
He lets go of your hair and reaches around to rub at your clit. You fall forward, your arms give out and your vision blurs as he prolongs the burn. “F-felix, fuck fuck, c-can’t..” His practiced pattern turns into something more wild as he gets closer to his own release.
His hips slow and his thrusts shallow into a rhythm that has tears rolling down your cheeks and his jaw hanging slack. “Oh, fuck, look at me. Look at me, please.” You turn your head and press the side into the mattress to look at him. There’s a subtle tremble to your body. A vibration that Felix recognizes as raw unfiltered pleasure.
“Who knew you’d look so pretty crying under me.” He groans, bottoming out and pulling back just to do it again. He’s edging himself, using you to keep him right at the tip of it all while you ride his. “Doesn’t this feel so much better than your little game, baby?”
You can feel it coming, your second or third orgasm. You’ve lost count. The minutes blur together and your words abandon you, your tongue is unstable and caught between your teeth. But Felix is relentless, too far gone in the moment that he’s waited forever for.
“God, look at you, fucked out, you’d say yes to anything right now wouldn’t ya?” His voice is hoarse, deep. “Want me to fuck a baby into ya? You’re such a slut, listen to you. You want it.” It’s not in your control, or at least that’s what you convince yourself when his words pull a drawn out moan from you. Loud and pornographic.
“Say it. Say you wanna be swollen with my fucking baby and I’ll give you every last drop, princess. All of it. Say it.” His hips falter and his thighs shake against yours as his practiced thrusts turn into messy rutting. You moan, he moans and somewhere in between you two fit whimpers of each other's names.
You’re gone.
“Y-yes, yes, I wan’ it.” Tears are falling and your vision abandons you, going from blurry to white as another orgasm peaks. You take a breath, deep like him and you’re falling all over again, screaming and drooling and cumming so hard that Felix has to hold your hips up.
“Holy shit, that cunt ‘s gonna make me cum. Gonna fucking cum.” Now he’s lost it. He chases his high while you fall apart around him and he groans when it finally catches up to him.
He’s finally got it. He’s got you.
He empties himself inside of you with every intention of pulling out but none of the control. His knees threaten to fold beneath him but he keeps himself up through the duration of his orgasm before collapsing onto the mattress.
You’re panting, dumb with pleasure as the aftershocks surge through you. You want to say something, anything but nothing feels right. What do you say to the man you’ve finally fucked after years of teasing?
Felix decides to fill in the silence with something better than words. He pulls out of you with a small moan and turns you around. You’re barely settled in his arms before his lips are on yours, hungry and hunting. There’s a passion to it, something that you can only recognize as longing. The taste is something that you can only describe as Felix.
You let yourself go, you let him have you and he moans once he feels the chain snap. The hold is gone.
It’s game over.

the warm glow of the bedside lamp casts a soft, golden haze over the room, pooling in honeyed ribbons along the sheets, the walls, the tangled mess of limbs still recovering from the storm of passion moments ago. the air is thick with the scent of vanilla and faint traces of your boyfriend's cologne, mingling with the lingering warmth of skin against skin.
his breath is steady, deep—like the rolling tide pulling back from the shore—his chest rising and falling in tandem with yours as he holds you close, the quiet aftermath settling over both of you like the softest lullaby.
but his mind? oh, it’s a storm of worry.
"did i hurt you?"
he whispers, his deep, accented voice brushing against the shell of your ear, laced with genuine concern. his arms tighten around you just a little, as if anchoring you back to him. "tell me honestly, please. if i was too much, i—"
"you were perfect," you mumble, your voice drowsy, melting into his hold.
felix exhales, relieved, before pressing a lingering kiss to your temple. "good," he murmurs against your skin, lips warm and reverent.
"because i really, really like making you feel good. like, a lot. i think it’s my new favorite hobby."
a tired, breathy laugh escapes you. "it’s been your hobby for a year, lix."
"okay, but now i take it very seriously. like, professional level," he counters, and you can hear the smile in his voice. "might start a club. 'felix’s lovers of the year' club. but there’s only one spot available, and it’s exclusively for you."
you huff, burying your face against his collarbone. "that was terrible."
"yeah, but did it make you smile?" he peeks down at you, expectant, hopeful.
you try to fight it. you really do. but the way he’s looking at you—with that stupidly bright, gummy smile and those galaxy-swirled brown eyes—makes it impossible.
"maybe," you admit, soft and quiet.
felix grins, victorious. "mission accomplished."
his fingers start trailing slow, absentminded patterns over your back, gentle and soothing. he’s always like this after—the perfect mix of soft and playful, as if making sure you know how much he loves you in every way possible.
then, suddenly—
"oh my god, you're so warm," he groans dramatically, shifting slightly. "like a human heater. i think i’m melting. i’m dying. this is the end for me. tell my members i love them."
you snort. "you’re the one clinging to me."
felix gasps, betrayed. "how dare you? i am protecting you. keeping you safe and loved and cozy. it's my duty as your incredibly hot and responsible boyfriend."
"incredibly hot and responsible?"
"yeah," he says, grinning as he nudges his nose against yours. "and sexy. don’t forget sexy."
you roll your eyes, but there’s no stopping the way your lips twitch. "you’re ridiculous."
"and yet, you love me."
"unfortunately."
felix lets out a loud, exaggerated gasp before launching a merciless attack of feather-light kisses all over your face. "take that back!" he demands between kisses. "take! it! back!"
you squirm, giggling. "lix—stop!"
"never," he declares dramatically, but his kisses slow, turning softer, lingering—one on your cheek, one on your nose, another ghosting over your lips before he finally presses a deep, warm kiss to your forehead.
silence stretches between you for a moment, comfortable and laced with something tender.
then, felix sighs, pulling back just enough to study you. "you’re really tired, hm?"
you nod sleepily, and his expression softens even more.
"stay here, i’ll clean you up," he whispers, brushing your hair back from your face with the utmost care. "i'll get you water, too. and snacks, in case you’re hungry. and a blanket, even though you’re already roasting me alive."
"felix, you don’t have to—"
"ah-ah-ah." he presses a finger against your lips. "let me spoil you, baby. just this once. or actually, every time. no takebacks."
you give him a sleepy, fond look, too tired to argue, and he grins before slipping out of bed. the room feels colder without him, but the sound of him humming softly as he pads around—his deep, velvety voice weaving through the space—is comforting.
a few moments later, he returns, armed with a warm towel, a glass of water, and a packet of biscuits.
he sets everything down carefully, then kneels beside you with a comically serious expression. "okay, love, time for your felix-certified aftercare package. step one, hydration." he hands you the water.
you take a slow sip, and he nods approvingly.
"step two, gentle clean-up." he dabs the warm towel against your skin, so careful, so attentive. his lips twitch into a playful smirk as he wipes your thigh. "damn, i really did a number on you, huh?"
you groan, swatting at him weakly. "shut up."
he cackles but finishes up with feather-light touches, pressing a kiss to your knee for good measure.
"step three, snacks, in case my lovely, adorable, stunning baby is hungry." he offers you the biscuits with an expectant look.
you take one, nibbling on it slowly. "thank you, muffin man." you laugh.
"anytime, only the best for my baby," he murmurs, before climbing back into bed and pulling you close again, this time wrapping you entirely in his warmth.
his lips graze your temple, soft as a whisper. "step four, cuddles. and kisses. and telling you how much i love you until you fall asleep."
you hum contentedly, feeling sleep tug at you. "sounds like the best step."
felix grins, stroking your hair gently. "mhm. now, for my final and most important job…" he leans in, lips just brushing your ear before whispering in the deepest voice he can muster:
"sleep well, pretty."
and just like that, wrapped in his warmth, surrounded by his love, you do.

—
Your college dorm is a familiar sight, the mess of papers and coffee cups giving away the fact that the end of the year is fast approaching. You've been sharing this space with Felix for the past couple years, both of you working hard to keep your grades up and—hopefully, somehow—graduate?
…You're sure it'll be fine. As long as you do well enough on your capstone project, which is why you're sitting at Felix's desk, dutifully researching. Sometimes you take to his room when you need a change of scenery or just want company; though it's just you right now as Felix had to leave for class earlier.
You're just about to take a stretch break when you hear the front door open and soon enough, Felix trudges into the room. “Still here?” he says when he sees you.
“Unfortunately.” You set your things down and look over at him with a long sigh to convey your exhaustion.
“Dude, same,” he groans, tossing his bag on the floor before flopping down on his bed. “I don't think I've ever been so fucking tired in my life. Why did I pursue higher education again?”
That gets you to laugh a little. “Maybe for some kind of high-paying job and… a sense of accomplishment?” you suggest.
He lets out another groan, rolling over on his side. “But at what fucking cost? Sleep deprivation and a caffeine addiction?” He looks at you with wide, pleading eyes. “Remind me why I'm doing this again.”
You get up and walk over to his bed, sitting down on the edge next to him, a playful smile on your face. “Well, I seem to recall someone who said they wanted to be some hot shot computer engineer.”
He props himself up on one elbow to face you. “Ooh, you think I'm hot?” he says, wiggling his eyebrows.
You give him a look that hopefully conveys how much of an idiot you think he is. “Hot shot, dumbass.”
…Still, it would be dishonest to disagree: your roommate is attractive. Anyone with a working set of eyes can see that.
“Ohh, I see. You think I'm hot shit?”
You roll your eyes so far back it almost hurts. “As if you don't hear that enough.”
He grins, clearly amused and clearly not above shamelessly fishing for compliments. “Oh, but it's so much more fun to hear it from you,” he teases, leaning back against his pillow.
You give him a withering glare but he just reaches out and pats the spot next to him on the bed. “Come sit down.”
You raise an eyebrow at him. “I am literally sitting down.”
“Okay, well, closer, genius.”
You sigh exaggeratedly, but you humor him anyway, scooting over closer to where he's lounging on the bed. You thought that was enough, but this is Felix, and you should have known better. He reaches out and grabs your wrist, gently but firmly tugging you down next to him.
He shifts so he's on his side facing you and grins, clearly satisfied. His hair is messy and there's a hint of dark circles under his eyes, but he still manages to look unfairly attractive.
You shake your head at his antics and let out a long sigh. “Well… You've already made it this far, you know,” you tell him. “Only a few months left of dealing with school, and then you're done.”
“...Yeah.”
He's quiet for a moment, his gaze drifting across your face, a hint of something almost like melancholy in his eyes.
“Why am I kinda sad, though?” he finally asks with a chuckle.
You blink. “Sad? About being done with school?”
He nods. “I mean, I want to be done, god, believe me I do, but…” He blows out a sigh, running a hand through his hair. “I dunno, it just doesn't feel as good as I expected it to. And I'm…” He pauses, clearly thinking his words over.
“I'm… gonna miss this, honestly. A lot.”
“This?” You gesture around the room. "You're going to miss this? Our tiny-ass, overpriced apartment?"
He laughs at that. “Not this place, I guess.”
“Then? The constant lack of sleep? Exams? The shitty cafeteria food?”
“Please,” Felix scoffs before taking a deep breath, looking somewhere behind you. “I'm… going to miss this." He looks back at you and pokes your shoulder for emphasis. “This. Us living together. Hanging out all the time. I'm going to miss that.”
You blink, a little taken aback at his earnestness. “Oh,” you say intelligently. “Yeah. I…”
You try to ignore the way your heart is suddenly in your throat. In truth, you've been doing your best not to think about it, how things will inevitably change after graduation.
“I mean…” you start. “It's not like we're never going to see each other again or something. We'll keep in touch, right?” But even as you say it, you feel yourself deflating. It’s not the same.
His expression reflects yours, his smile soft but a little sad around the edges. “...Of course we will.” He sounds like he's saying it as much to himself as he is to you.
He's silent for another moment, his fingers gently running over the blanket, not quite meeting your gaze.
“It won't… be the same though,” he says, mirroring your own thoughts. “Like— you know? I'm gonna miss the convenience store we always go to at 2AM, I'm gonna miss our late-night study sessions and the shitty coffee you make, I'm gonna miss how you always use up the hot water in the shower and your annoying alarm waking me up at fuck-ass in the morning—” He suddenly cuts off, a flush rising in his cheeks.
He turns on his back again, slinging an arm over his eyes. “Ugh, I don't know, just shut up and let me wallow in my feelings.”
You're honestly a little speechless. All that, things he claims are annoying — he's going to miss it all that much?
“Hey,” you say gently, nudging his shoulder. “Hey, you sap, look at me.”
“No. I'm wallowing.”
You roll your eyes. “I can see that.” You poke his arm. Then again, harder. “Come on, look at me.”
Felix huffs dramatically, lowering his arm and turning his head to look at you from the corner of his eye. “What? I’m looking.”
Your heart clenches at the sight of him. He's pouting, looking a little petulant but still so endearingly cute, and you can definitely see the hint of embarrassment in his gaze as he peeks at you.
You let a smile spread across your face. “You're gonna miss me.”
Felix averts his gaze, his cheeks going a little pinker. “I mean, a little, I guess,” he mumbles, before letting out a heavy, dramatic sigh. “Ugh, why are you looking at me like that? Don't let it go to your head or anything.”
It's so obvious that it's more than just a little — but you decide not to call him out on it. Instead, you lean forward, propping yourself up with one arm. “Too late,” you tease, grinning widely. “You're gonna miss me so much.”
He groans, throwing his forearm over his eyes again. "Whatever. Shut up.”
You look at him silently for a moment, taking in his flushed face and his messy hair. God, he's so cute. You've always been aware of how pretty he is, but there's something about seeing him like this, completely unguarded and vulnerable, that's making your lungs feel tight.
You clear your throat awkwardly, shifting your gaze away from him. “Hey, come on, cheer up.”
“No,” he says, still hiding his face behind his arm. “I'll just lay here and wallow and die."
“So dramatic,” you chide, poking his side roughly, trying to distract yourself from your own thoughts. You're starting to feel a little flustered too.
He whines at the contact, swatting at your hand, but you notice he hasn't moved his other arm away from his face. “Ow, hey, violence,” he complains, curling away from your fingers. “Ow, ow, dude—”
You reach out and grab his wrist, pulling his hand away from his face. He lets out a half-hearted protest, but doesn’t get the chance to resist.
Oh. His eyes are shining.
You freeze.
He's pouting again, but it's less childish now and more vulnerable, embarrassed. For a moment you just sort of stare, suddenly hyper-aware of how close the two of you are. His face is so close, so pretty, and your heart is doing something strange, beating rapidly in your chest.
“You’re—” You clear your throat, struggling with what to say. You… hadn’t realized how much this was impacting him.
He looks away and blinks hard, but his eyes are still a bit misty, unshed tears stubbornly sticking to his eyelashes. “Sorry. I'm being stupid,” he finally says, his voice a little quiet. “Ignore me, I'm just being weird, it's—” He swallows. “...I'm tired.”
Oh, god. You've been joking and teasing and making fun, but now you just feel like the biggest jerk, because he's actually really upset about this.
“Wait, no,” you murmur, suddenly serious. “No, it’s not— You're not being stupid. I—” You're having a lot more trouble than usual forming coherent sentences.
Your hand is still around his wrist, your fingers pressing against his pulse point. You squeeze it lightly. “It's okay.” You can feel the rapid beating of his heart, in contrast to the rest of him lying completely still. “It's not stupid. I’m— I'm gonna miss you too, idiot.”
He lets out a wet sounding laugh at that, rolling his eyes, but he doesn’t pull his arm away from your grip. “So mean,” he says. “Do you have to insult me to say nice things?”
“Well, yeah.”
The corners of his mouth twitch and you feel a bit of relief that you've managed to cheer him up a little.
“But you mean it?” He looks up at you with a shy expression. “You're gonna miss me?”
“Of course,” you say, suddenly struck by how much you mean it. “Yeah, I am. A lot.”
He lets out a low breath, eyes flicking over your face. “Yeah?” he says quietly.
It's silent for a moment. Felix is still looking at you, a little shyly, and it's driving you a little crazy. He sighs, his brow pinched slightly, like he’s struggling with some internal conflict. You wait patiently, giving him space to express what he wants to say.
But he doesn't. Just averts his eyes and blinks harshly at the wall behind you.
“Please don't cry or I'll start crying too,” you say with a bit of a nervous laugh.
Felix lets out a shaky breath. “...I’m not going to cry.”
You give him a look.
“I’m not,” he insists, using his free hand to rub his eyes. “I have allergies or something, I just— I—”
He hesitates, clearly trying to gather his thoughts.
“Okay, look,” he sits up, pulling his wrist free from your grip and taking a deep breath. “It's just— I…” He stops, running a hand through his hair nervously.
“Felix?” you ask, sitting up too. You're starting to get a little concerned. Why is the mood suddenly so weird?
He groans, burying his face in his hands, his voice muffled when he speaks. “This is embarrassing.”
It doesn't help your concern. “What’s embarrassing?” you ask carefully, trying to keep your voice steady.
“This,” he mutters, still hiding his face.
You hesitate a moment, not really knowing what to do, before tentatively reaching out and touching his arm. “Um… It's fine, you can talk to me.”
He lets out a frustrated breath before finally looking at you. “You’re not gonna like it.”
Oh. “Well… Did you… like, kill someone or something?”
Felix stares at you for a moment, clearly trying to keep a straight face but his lips twitch a little. “No, I didn’t kill anyone, you psychopath,” he says dryly.
“Okay, well, good,” you say, clearing your throat. “No illegal activities? The government isn't after you?”
“I… No,” he says slowly.
This conversation is taking a bizarre turn. “And you're not, like… secretly an alien sent to spy on humans this whole time? And… now you have to return to your home planet to plot the annihilation of Earth?”
That finally gets Felix to laugh. “You're— you're a fucking idiot,” he says through giggles. “Seriously.”
“I’m just checking,” you say, crossing your arms. “You're being all weird and shit and…” you gesture vaguely. “Maybe you're an alien. I don't know.”
That only sets him off giggling again. “Oh my god,” he says, leaning his forehead on your shoulder, his body shaking with laughter. “Why are you so dumb.”
You roll your eyes, just relieved to see him smile. He's much more relaxed now, the mood in the room lifted with his laughter. All part of your plan. You're more than happy to appear ridiculous if it means seeing him laugh.
He finally stops laughing, though he’s still smiling a little as he lifts his head and looks at you. He’s much closer than you anticipated, and you try not to be too distracted by the freckles around his eyes and the way his eyelashes flutter when he blinks as his gaze flicks across your face. He’s looking at you intently, and the air in the room feels charged, electric almost.
“You…” he starts, but hesitates, cutting himself off with a shake of his head. “Why are you so dumb,” he repeats.
Wow. “Now who's being mean?” you pout.
He laughs again, but it’s softer than before, a shaky, nervous sound. “God, I— this is so stupid, I—”
He lets out a frustrated breath, staring directly into your eyes, his expression intense and focused. “How do you not notice,” he mutters under his breath.
You’re frozen under his gaze, your heart suddenly in your throat. “Notice… what?”
Felix closes his eyes. “Nevermind. It doesn’t matter.”
What? “It seems like it matters since you’re…”
He opens his eyes again, looking a bit pained as he looks at you. “Just… just forget it.”
You don’t know what to say. You can feel your heart beating wildly in your chest, your hands shaking slightly. “Uh… okay,” you say. “Sorry for… being dumb…?”
He grimaces. “No, I didn't mean it like—”
He lets out a long, heavy breath, shaking his head. Then he reaches out and takes your hand, his fingers brushing against your wrist.
His voice is quieter when he speaks, looking down, idly playing with your fingers. “Just… you’re supposed to notice,” he mumbles, almost to himself. “It’s supposed to be obvious.”
You stare at him, confused and flustered and… honestly, a little distracted by how he's touching your hand. “What's… uhh, what?” Everything feels like it's too much all of a sudden, and your chest is really starting to do something weird.
He sighs. “Nevermind. Seriously.”
There's a moment of silence before he speaks again. “When we graduate,” he starts. “...Which I guess is really soon, huh.”
The way he says it makes your chest pang painfully. He’s still not looking at you. “I won’t see you anymore…” he murmurs, his voice so quiet you can barely hear him.
You grab his hand, stopping him from fiddling with your fingers, and squeeze gently. “Hey,” you say. “C’mon, it’s not like that.”
He huffs out a bitter laugh. “Isn't it, though?”
It kind of feels like you’ve been punched in the gut. This isn't like him, he's usually the one full of sunshine and optimism, reassuring you. But right now, the defeat in his voice is palpable.
The reality of the situation starts sinking in. Time’s almost up.
“Felix,” you say quietly, and he finally lifts his eyes up from his lap to look at you. His eyes are watery again.
He swallows, his voice breaking a little as he speaks. “Sorry, I’m being… I’m being unfair, I just…” He hesitates before continuing. “I don’t want to not see you.”
You frown, tears pricking your eyes now too. You don't trust your voice to speak, throat feeling tight and uncomfortable.
“And you’re just… so oblivious,” he continues, his finger tracing over your knuckles. “So stubborn, and dumb, and you’re probably the most annoying person I’ve ever met in my life and I seriously cannot believe I like—”
He cuts off suddenly, slapping a hand over his mouth.
Wait.
“Felix,” you murmur, and his eyes dart up to meet yours, a little panicked. He tries to jerk his hand away from yours, but you hold on tighter, keeping him in place.
“Felix,” you repeat, your skin buzzing from the way he’s looking at you. “You can’t just… leave me hanging like that.”
He looks away, face a brilliant crimson red. “Yeah, I can.”
You almost want to laugh. You didn’t realize he could be so shy, but you can’t focus on that now, because your heart is racing and you can’t tell if you’re going to pass out, or pass away.
“No, you can’t,” you say shakily. “When are you gonna tell me? At the commencement ceremony?”
He lets out a half-choked, almost hysterical sort of laugh, keeping his head turned away so he doesn’t have to look at you. “Yeah, something like that.”
He has to be joking. “That’s months away!”
“And?”
You shake your head, feeling dizzy. “I’m not gonna wait that long, are you insane?”
He huffs and glares at you, pouting. “Oh, well I’m sorry, would you just rather I shout it from the fucking roof tops then? Hey, everyone, I’ve been in love with my best friend since freshman year!”
What.
You blink, stunned speechless, your eyes wide.
Your mind is spinning, the air in the room suddenly too thick to breathe. The words in love keep ringing in your ears, over and over again.
“You— you what?” you manage to get out, feeling a little faint. You must not have heard him correctly. You're hallucinating, or having a stroke or… something. He can't actually mean—
Felix winces. “...Fuck.” he mutters, dropping his head into his hands.
“Oh my god,” you whisper, brain still struggling to catch up to the situation. You’re still processing that he said the word love, when the last few words register.
“Wait— freshman year?” you say incredulously. “You’ve— since—?”
He’s clearly trying to act somewhat composed but the bright red on his ears betrays him. “Um. Yeah. Shut up. Stop talking,” he says, voice muffled from behind his hands.
You think about the past few years of your life, every interaction with him, and it’s like everything suddenly clicks into place.
The way his ears turn pink whenever you compliment him. The way you could always get under his skin so easily. You think about every time he got defensive, or huffy, or pouty at something innocuous you did or said.
…The way he's never really shown interest in anyone, despite the plenty of interest shown his way. The countless people he's turned down, for seemingly no reason. When you'd questioned him about it, he'd just laughed awkwardly and said he preferred to focus on his studies.
“Oh my god,” you say again.
Felix groans and hides his face further, his ears practically on fire. “Stop. Don't,” he mutters. “It's okay. Just… pretend you never heard that, okay, it's fine—”
“No.”
It’s silent for a moment, Felix still hiding his face, and your mind still swirling with thoughts.
You kind of want to kiss him.
The realization is sudden, but not entirely unexpected. It’s not really a surprise, honestly, just another thing that feels natural. Maybe because deep down, of course somewhere along the line you've developed feelings for the person you can trust with anything, who gets you more than anyone else. Your favorite person in the world.
You’re only half in your right mind as you grab his wrists, pulling his hands off of his face.
“You ass,” you say, staring directly at him.
He looks at you with wide, panicked eyes. “I'm sorry—” he starts, but you cut him off.
“Can I kiss you?”
He chokes, eyes going even wider. He opens his mouth, then closes it, clearly caught off guard. After a moment, he manages to find his voice, though it’s very high pitched and shaky. “What?”
You take a deep breath. “Can I kiss you,” you repeat, your head feeling fuzzy, your pulse pounding in your ears.
“…What?” he asks again. His face is bright red. “Are— are you serious?”
“Do I look like I’m kidding?” you murmur, leaning even closer, your faces almost touching.
His breath catches, and his eyes dart between your eyes and your lips. “Please say you’re not,” he manages to say, voice breaking.
“I’m not,” you say, feeling a little crazy. Insane, maybe. You can’t really bring yourself to care. “Can I?”
He doesn't give you an answer, letting out an incredulous breath before grabbing the front of your shirt and yanking you forward as he falls back so you land on top of him.
You’re about to protest at the continued lack of a clear answer, but then he’s kissing you and you forget how to speak.
It's not the most graceful kiss, you’re both a little clumsy, but it’s sweet and it’s Felix and that’s all that really matters. You figure it out quickly, getting into a rhythm, and he lets out a shaky breath against your mouth, his hand moving to tangle in your hair. You feel like you’re dreaming, or drowning, or both.
Felix is kissing you. Felix is kissing you. Your closest friend. He’s in love with you, and he’s kissing you.
It makes your head spin. After several moments, you finally pull away, panting and dizzy. You feel a little delirious, staring down at him, both of you catching your breath.
His head falls back against the pillow, face turning impossibly red as he blinks at you like he’s in shock. You laugh a little and he huffs, but his eyes soften.
“So… you, uh— You— Are you—?”
You cut him off with another touch of your lips, effectively shutting him up. He instantly melts into it, tightens his grip in your hair, pulling you further into the kiss, and you can’t think straight, everything is just Felix.
After a while, you’re forced to break away again for air. Felix whines at the loss of contact, eyes half-lidded, his cheeks flushed. You only manage to get a few breaths in before he's pulling you down into another kiss, more urgently this time.
You let out a surprised noise, and he takes the opportunity to slip his tongue into your mouth. He seems to be determined to kiss you senseless, and it’s working.
He bites your bottom lip, making you gasp into his mouth. He mumbles something in response, his thigh sliding between your legs, and your brain short-circuits.
Okay. You shiver. Okay. You should probably… You manage to pull away for a much needed breath and Felix tries to chase after your mouth, but you press a hand to his chest to hold him in place.
He groans, looking frustrated, but flops back against the pillow obediently. He blinks at you dazedly, his own chest heaving, eyes half-lidded and dark, but his expression quickly morphs into a pout. “Why… Why…?” he complains, trying to tug you closer again.
You huff a weak laugh, shaking your head, and he gives you a wide-eyed look, all innocence and sweetness, and that's not fair that he can look like this after all of that.
“Just— one sec,” you somehow get out, your mind still completely overloaded. “We should… uh…”
He’s still trying to reach your mouth. “What,” he mutters, breathing heavily against your neck.
“Talk,” you manage to say, even as his lips make their way to your jaw. “We should… we need to… oh my god—”
You cut off, stifling a gasp as he sucks on your skin. “Felix,” you say, trying to be stern, but it comes out like a moan instead.
“Mm?” he hums against your ear, completely unapologetic. “You want to… talk?”
“Yeah.” It takes all your willpower to pull away, ignoring how he whines in protest. You sit up and take a moment to compose yourself, willing yourself to ignore the urge to just give in to him.
Felix flops back onto the bed, throwing his arm over his eyes as he sighs, his voice sounding a little raspy.
“Sorry,” he mutters, his ears red. “Sorry, god, I've thought about this so much, I just—”
Oh. “You’ve… thought about…? How much…?”
He makes a strangled noise and covers his face more thoroughly, voice muffled. “Oh my god,” he groans, “I'm going to fucking die. I… a lot.”
…Okay. Okay. Deep breaths. Okay.
“...How much is a lot?” you ask, unable to resist your curiosity. And maybe you want to tease him about it. Just a little.
He groans again. “So, so much. An embarrassing and pathetic amount.” He’s not even trying to hide his pouting. “Can you please not make me say the actual words.”
You bite the inside of your cheek to keep from laughing, but the way he sounds — breathless and embarrassed — it’s honestly kind of adorable. He’s always so confident in most aspects of his life that you kind of love seeing him so flustered.
“Please… don’t,” he mumbles, peeking at you. “I’m begging you…”
He's blinking up at you, the picture of innocence once again. He glances up at you through his eyelashes, all pretty and delicate and ugh, he's absolutely doing this on purpose.
“You’re distracting,” you say weakly, staring down at him. “Stop making cute faces at me.”
He does not stop making cute faces. He tries though, lowering his hands as his face drops into a scowl. “I’m not making a cute face,” he protests.
“Yeah, you are,” you say, raising an eyebrow. “You’re doing it right now. Your pouty thing.”
He sniffs. “I'm not,” he says petulantly, though there’s a hint of mirth in his eyes. “This is just my regular face. It’s not my fault if my face is cute.”
You roll your eyes. “Yeah, okay.”
He opens his mouth to respond but you cut him off with a finger, placing it over his lips. His mouth instantly snaps shut, and you can’t resist a little grin as he looks up at you with wide eyes.
You watch as he swallows, his eyes fixed on you, and, not for the first time, you’re reminded of how pretty he is. He’s always been gorgeous, in an objective sort of way, but you feel like you’re seeing him for the first time.
You move your hand away and take a deep breath, trying to gather your thoughts. You need to talk about this while you’re both still somewhat coherent, or you’ll go absolutely insane.
“So…” You’re a little pleased with how steady your voice is, considering the circumstances. “You… love me.”
Felix coughs and covers his face again. “Do you have to say it like that,” he groans, his voice muffled by his palms.
“You never… you never said anything.”
He just shrugs, still hiding his face. “I was scared to lose you,” he says with a shaky breath. “I didn’t expect you to want me back…” There's no bitterness in his tone, just disbelief.
You frown. “But you’re—” You bite your tongue. Felix was worried about you not wanting him?
You shake your head, a somewhat acrid feeling welling up inside of you. You've seen firsthand the sheer amount of attention he gets from people, from the random gifts and outright confessions and people slipping him numbers and notes everywhere he goes. There's never been a shortage of interest in him, from all sorts of people. Compared to him, you're… nothing.
“So… this whole time, you just… thought I was clueless?” You're still trying to wrap your head around it.
He sighs. “I mean, kind of,” he says, his eyes peeking through his fingers. “You’ve been completely oblivious to anyone who’s ever flirted with you.”
Including me, he doesn't say, but you're starting to put the pieces together.
You wince, your face flushing. “I’m not that oblivious,” you protest weakly. “I just… I’ve never been particularly interested in… anyone.”
Felix stares at you, one eyebrow raised.
“Like…” It's true that you've never really liked anyone very strongly in all your time at college. Some fleeting crushes here and there, but even the few people you had tried to go on dates with always felt lacking in some inexplicable way. You always felt much better as soon as you'd come home to your shared space with Felix, always feeling the most comfortable in his presence. Was that it? All this time, no one could ever compare to your best friend?
And the constant attention Felix would get… It annoyed the hell out of you. At first, you would tease him, even encourage him to give them a chance, delight in the way his face would turn bright red. But it quickly became so annoying watching him have to navigate awkward conversations, politely turn people down. Sure, a part of you was probably a bit insecure always watching him receive so much attention. At least, that's what you told yourself. But beyond that, you think you're finally starting to understand the feeling for what it is.
Jealousy.
“Oh my god.” You’re starting to realize what a mess this entire situation is. “We're both idiots.”
Felix finally drops his hands from his face, giving you a dry look. “Speak for yourself.”
"Shut up," you say absently, not even annoyed. Your head is reeling.
This is… a mess. Felix is in love with you, you’re pretty sure the feeling has been mutual for a while, and you’re both leaving this place in just a few months.
“So… you’ve never liked anyone before?” Felix asks. His tone is a bit teasing, though there's curiosity beneath.
You make a face. “Um.” Yeah, that's what you thought for the past couple years until now. How much do you reveal?
All of the puzzle pieces are clicking into place in your mind, making your head hurt even more. So much time wasted, you want to cry.
“I guess no one ever compared to you,” you say without thinking, and immediately slap your hand over your face.
“Oh.” There’s a second of silence as you both process the words.
Then, Felix starts laughing.
“Oh my god,” he mutters, struggling to contain himself, barely managing to keep his laughter under control. Your face is growing redder by the second, embarrassed and annoyed.
“Will you stop?” you whine.
“I’m sorry, I just—” he tries to get himself together, taking a deep breath before looking at you fondly. “This is the corniest fucking shit I've ever— holy shit. We're actually both stupid.”
“I told you,” you say, smacking him on the arm.
He just snickers, grabbing your wrist before you can hit him again. He pulls you so you’re half-lying on top of him again, and you can feel his shoulders shaking as if he’s trying to keep from bursting out into another fit of laughter.
You let your head fall against his chest with a huff, still annoyed even as he wraps an arm around you, his hand rubbing against your back.
“You jerk,” you mutter.
He hums, sounding amused. “You love me.”
You go rigid, and he starts to laugh again, obviously enjoying the fact that he found an easy way to fluster you.
“Shut up,” you grumble weakly, burying your face against him.
It isn't fair. He’s had time to fully realize it, years apparently. He’s had time to process everything. Meanwhile, you feel like you’ve been completely blindsided.
He finally stops laughing and you’re both quiet for a few moments. You can hear his heart drumming loud in his chest.
“Wow,” he says suddenly. “We could have avoided a lot of stress if we realized earlier.”
You let out a snort of semi-hysterical laughter. “I know,” you agree, before pausing and wincing. “Oh god, I can't believe we've been… that we've been living together…”
“Yeeeahh… That's been torture by the way,” he says conversationally, as if he's discussing the weather, and your cheeks flare up.
“...Torture?”
He squeezes your side. “Are you kidding? Have you seen yourself every day? Every time you wear my jacket, or… anything? Wearing those hoodies on movie nights—”
“I get it,” you cut him off, your face absolutely burning. “I get it, I’m—”
“Stupid?” he offers helpfully. “Oblivious? Cute?”
“...You never said anything,” you say weakly in an attempt to defend yourself.
“I wasn't going to make things awkward,” he protests. “Can you imagine if I’d actually said anything and you just… what? Said no? And then we have to keep living together like normal?”
You bite your lip, trying to suppress the guilt stirring in your stomach. You can’t even begin to imagine what it's been like from his perspective.
“...Sorry.” You shift so you can actually look at him, but he won’t meet your eyes, his gaze fixed on the ceiling as he pouts.
“You really didn't notice?” he asks, finally looking at you. “Even a little?”
“No.” You feel a frustrated sort of laugh bubbling up. “We’ve been so stupid. We could’ve… we’ve wasted so much time, years—”
“Hey, hey,” he interrupts, seeing your expression, sitting up and gently placing his hand on your cheek, and you stop abruptly. “It doesn’t matter,” he says reassuringly. “We have time, okay? Plenty of time.”
You’re still struggling with the whole situation, trying to process everything as you stare at him. “But… we’re graduating.”
He gives you a small, unsure smile. “Yeah. We are.”
"And… I don't even know where I'm going. We could be—”
“Hey.” He cuts you off, placing a finger gently on your lips, and you bite your tongue, looking down at him. “Stop worrying so much. We’ll figure it out, okay?”
You try to take a deep breath and he leans forward until his forehead is touching yours.
Your mind is still racing, your entire universe is completely tilted, and you’re not entirely sure how to deal with any of it. But Felix is close and his hand is still on your cheek and…
And you want to focus on that instead, ignore everything else for now.
“Yeah?” you say weakly, your eyes fluttering shut.
“Yeah,” he says, his voice a little more firm, and he brings his other hand up to cup your face.
“For now,” he continues, his breath warm against your skin. “Let’s just…” He lets out an unsteady laugh, his hands still gently framing your face. “Can we just…”
Your entire body feels a little shaky. You lean forward a bit, closing the distance, and he sucks in a sharp breath.
“Yeah,” he breathes before slanting his mouth against yours.
It’s not very decorous. You’re both a little desperate, a little uncoordinated, trying to make up for years of lost time.
It’s messy and you can feel that he’s still a little nervous — as are you — but he's also determined. He pulls you closer, one of his hands sliding into your hair, tugging gently in a way that makes you gasp into his mouth.
Then he suddenly pulls back after a few moments, laughing when you whine pathetically in protest.
“Shh, hang on,” he says, slightly out of breath, and you open your eyes dizzily.
“...What?” you complain.
“Sorry,” he mutters. “I… I just remembered that I…”
You watch, utterly befuddled, as he pushes against your shoulders so he can sit up. He gently lifts you off of him, answering your whine of protest with a quick kiss before his hand drifts away from your face, reaching for his phone.
You try to grab at him. “What are you doing—”
He laughs and dodges out of your reach. “Just gimme a second,” he says, turning his phone on as he settles back on the bed.
You sit there, feeling dazed and frustrated as he taps at his phone, his attention focused on the screen. After a few moments, he finally seems to finish what he’s doing, putting his phone down with a satisfied hum.
When he meets your eyes, he just looks amused at your expression. “Sorry, sorry,” he says with a grin, moving closer to you again.
“What was so important,” you pout.
“I was meant to meet with my group mates for our project tonight,” he says. “So, I told them I'm feeling sick.”
Your eyebrows shoot up. “Felix.”
He has the audacity to just smile innocently, already shifting so he can push you down against the sheets.
“What?” he says casually, hovering over you, his hands coming to rest on your waist. “I wasn't gonna be able to focus anyways.”
“Oh.” You can feel the heat rising in your cheeks again. “Is… that really okay…?”
“Don't worry,” he says, leaning down and pressing a light kiss into your neck. “I practically carry them anyway, they can live without me for one night.”
You swallow, feeling his hands slide up your arms, his touch leaving a trail of sparks along your skin. “Okay,” you agree, completely distracted now, your thoughts hazy.
“Mhm.” He sucks on a sensitive spot on your collarbone and you let out a shaky exhale. “Can we focus on something else right now?”
You nod. He moves up to kiss you and you know, with him, you'll figure out whatever comes next.
For now, that's enough.

the empty bed
lee felix x gn!reader
synopsis/request: A vivid dream leaves Felix shaken, and when he finds you gone, his fear consumes him until you come back to him.
wc: 1078

The nightmare hit Felix like a storm, relentless and suffocating. He stood in the middle of the dream's fragmented world, watching you put your things in a bag. Your voice echoed with cold finality as you said, "I just don't feel the same anymore." "No," he whispered, his chest squeezing, but his body did not react. He tried reaching for you, to say something to make you stop, but his feet were glued to the floor, and his throat tightened. He could only watch helplessly as you swung the bag over your shoulder, gave him a final indifferent look, and went out the door.
The sound of the door slamming echoed continuously in his head till he woke up. Felix bolted upright, his heart beating like he had just run a marathon. Cold sweat clung to his skin, leaving the sheets damp and uncomfortable. For a moment, he sat there in the dark, trying to remember where he was, when the emptiness of the bed next him sent a jolt of panic straight to his heart. "Y/N?" His voice was rough, cracking beneath the weight of his fear. He reached out to the empty side of the bed and felt the cold blankets beneath his fingers.
You weren’t there.
He slipped out of bed, his bare feet hitting against the cold floor as his mind raced. Maybe you were in the bathroom? Maybe you went to get water? Maybe not; something was wrong. Felix's nightmare and reality were merging together, and he couldn't shake the terrible feeling in his chest. He frantically searched the apartment, yelling your name as his voice got more insistent. The bathroom was empty. The kitchen lights were turned off. The living room was unusually silent. He looked at the shoe rack beside the door, and your favorite sneakers were were gone. His gaze shifted to the couch, where your sweater was not slung over the back as it always was. Even the small things you normally left scattered, such as your keys or notebook, were gone.
His breaths were shallow, and his hands began to shake. "No, no, no," he muttered under his breath as he searched for his phone. He called you, and each ring seemed to last forever. Felix's chest heaved as your voicemail rang. Tears flowed down his cheeks as he sat at the front door, gripping his phone like it was his only lifeline. "Please pick up," he said quietly, his voice shaking. "Don't leave me…" Then, the jingling of keys in the lock broke the silence. The front door opened, and there you were, balancing grocery bags in your arms.
“Lixie? I’m home, love!” you called, your voice warm and cheerful. “Where are—”
Before you could finish, Felix jumped to his feet and threw himself at you, encapsulating his arms around you so tightly that you nearly lost your footing. The bags fell to the floor with a dull thud, and you instinctively grabbed him, worried by how badly he was shaking. "Felix! what’s wrong?" You asked, moving back just enough to look at his face. Your heart sank as you saw his tear-stained cheeks and red-rimmed eyes. "I-I thought you had left," he gasped out, his voice breaking. "I thought you were gone for good. I couldn't find you, and you weren't answering your phone, so I was terrified."
Your eyes softened, and you clasped his face in your palms, wiping away tears with your thumbs. "Oh, baby," you said, your voice filled with tenderness. "I just went to the the store to pick up a few things. I’m sorry for not telling you. I didn't mean to scare you." He buried his face in your shoulder, his hands grasping your back as if you might vanish if he let go. You held him close, murmuring soothing words and caressing his hair until his breathing became steady.
Once he’d calmed down a bit, you guided him to the couch and sat him down. You knelt in front of him, holding his hands tightly as he told you about the nightmare. His voice trembled with every word, his eyes wide with lingering fear.
“It felt so real,” he said, his voice barely above a whisper. “You said you didn’t love me anymore, and then you left. When I woke up, you weren’t there, and everything looked like you’d really left. I didn’t know what to do…”
You leaned forward, pressing a soft kiss to his forehead. “Felix, listen to me. That was just a dream. I love you so much, and I’m not going anywhere. I promise. You mean everything to me.”
He nodded, but the fear in his eyes lingered. Throughout the day, he stayed close to you, his longing for physical affection stronger than usual. He followed you from room to room, always looking for an excuse to touch you, a hand on your waist, an arm around your shoulders, a kiss pressed to your temple. When you sat down to work, he placed his head on your lap and wrapped his arms around your waist, as if to secure himself. You reassured him whenever you could, holding his face and telling him how much you loved him, but his anxiety persisted like a shadow.
That evening, as you nestled up on the couch, you decided to put his worries to rest once and for all. You turned to him and softly took his hands in yours. "Felix," you said gently, meeting his gaze. I need you to hear me. I love you. I love you more than everything in the world, and I will never leave you. No nightmare, distance, or circumstance could ever change that. Do you understand?" He nodded, his eyes gleaming from emotion. "I'm sorry," he muttered. "I just..." "I can't lose you." "You're not going to lose me," you firmly said, smoothing his hair back. "You're stuck with me, remember?"
He let out a little, weak laugh and leaned in, pressing his forehead against yours. "I love you," he said softly, his voice full with appreciation and relief. "I love you too," you replied, throwing your arms around him. "Always."
Felix's shoulders relaxed for the first time in the day, and he exhaled deeply. He drew you closer, hugging you like the most precious thing in the world, and for the rest of the night, the two of you stayed wrapped up in each other, safe and secure in your love.

A/N: I absolutely loved writing this, and I’ve been doing a lot better with adding some plot lol. So I hope y’all enjoy.

-🎃
A new shipment of part had came in for you, as the man unloaded the heavy boxes into your garage you noticed a half put together robot. He had one arm barely hanging on, an eye missing, a huge hole in his chest and no legs. Your heart shattered seeing it all torn apart and damaged. “What’s uhm happened to that one?” You said softly as the man put the box that held it in it on the ground. “We don’t know exactly but he did come from the violet district.” The man sad with almost sadness in his voice. You let out a deep breath nodding your head. Nicknamed the Double V for violet violent district. This place was known for criminal activity, robot fighting, drugs and mafia.
It didn’t surprise you now seeing its state coming from there. You thanked the man for the parts and scrap before going back into your place. You looked over at the robot “I wonder if I have anything to fix you?” You said aloud. “I don’t have any projects right now so” you said picking up the mangled robot sitting it at your work station. As the days turned into weeks you were slowly making progress. You didn’t know what you’d do with it when it was put together but you figured you just see what it wanted.
You figured out it was a male robot as you worked on its inners. His attachments were still intact inside, and the rods for his “fluids” were still good. “Ah so you’re a male? I wonder what your name is? Wonder what you actually look like?” The thing with these AI robots is they had their own personality, their own looks and you wouldn’t know what he’d really look like until you got his hardware back working.
About a month of getting him you finally had him all done. His body was good as new, pushing his back button to help turn him on you sighed seeing his face flash. -Uploading memories- flashed across his face. You let out an annoying sigh but occupied yourself waiting for it to fully download. A few hours later you had passed out head laying on your desk beside the robot. You tried your best to stay awake, wanting to see him as soon as he woke. When he came to he looked around then down at you. Although he wasn’t “alive” per se he heard you as you worked on him.
Your pretty voice kept him going as you worked on him giving him hope that he was somewhere safe. When he saw you were sleeping he wrapped his arms around you taking you to your bed laying you down gently making his way to the small chair you had in your room. He sat there and waited, waited for you to wake. To thank you for everything you had done for him. Flickering your eyes awake you stretched your arms up. “I don’t remember coming to bed” you said softly in a groggy voice. “I brought you to bed” a voice said coming from the other side of your room.
You let out a small scream before grabbing the knife from your night stand “who the fuck are you?” You said scared someone had broken in. “S-sorry didn’t mean to scare you, my names Felix. I’m.. the robot you were working on” he said softly. You turned on your light looking over at him. You’ve never seen such a beautiful robot. He has perfectly placed freckles, a velvety voice with an accent, pretty brown eyes and a gorgeous smile. “There’s no way they used you for fighting” the words slipped out before you could think. He chuckled a bit “ah well this pretty face fools a lot of people, I’m actually programmed with a lot of martial arts” he said with a smile.
You just nodded in response still trying to wrap your head around his beauty. “Thank you.” He said softly. “Oh of- of course!” You said looking up at him. “What uhm did you wanna do? You’re more than welcome to stay here with me or go on and live your life” you said. “I can stay here?” He said voice full of shock. You nod “yeah if you want. I have a spare room. Or even if you wanna leave later. I’m just happy I could.. save you” your voice soft almost a whisper at the end.
He smiled once again a small blush creeping across his face “I’m happy you saved me too” he said punctuating the ‘you’ part. As you worked on his for months he felt himself almost falling for you. The little things you did while you were alone like singing or making dumb jokes as you worked. How you never gave up on him and kept saying stuff like “I know you’re gonna be better, you’ll live a happier life I promise.” The words he kept recorded in a file he listened to ever so often.
He’s been living with you for about 3 months now. You really enjoyed having the company plus he helped you a lot on other projects. Helping to fix other robots who had come there for help. How gentle and caring you were to them just made him fall for you even more. One of the nights you were getting ready to have some ‘alone time’ when Felix had stopped you. “Y/n..” he said softly looking at the ground. “You alright lix?” You said worried he was upset or something. “I know what you’re going to do..” he said eyes still at the ground.
You tried to look at his face “wh-what do you mean?” You asked. “You have this routine before masterbating” he said his voice low. Before you could say anything back he continued “am I not good enough? I can make you feel good. Better than that tiny little thing you have. Let me make you feel good?” He asked his eyes now locked on yours. Your mouth was hanging open in shock “Felix” you said in almost a whisper. “Can I?” He said his lips now hovering over yours. You nod but he shakes his head “I need you to say it” he said inches from your face. “Yes” you said and like that his lips were attached to yours.
They felt warm as his tongue made its way into your mouth. He pulled your pants down as he worked his hands up your body teasing your nipples. He quickly got to his knees kissing your thighs before attaching his lips to your cunt. Everything happened so fast but as soon as his mouth started to work on your cunt all thoughts were gone. He sucked on your clit as he pushed to of his fingers into you. He made them nice and warm for you pushing deep into you. It felt weird, good but weird. It was so warm it almost felt like cum as he pumped himself into you.
The noises you were making plus how good you looked made his mind go into overdrive. He started recording, to save in his memory forever. The way your body shuttered under his touch. The moans the slipped past your lips and the way his name sounded coming from you. He was losing himself in you his hands were moving faster as he felt you clenching around him. He sprung his cock out gripping it in his hand as he pumped himself. He let out moans against your pussy making it vibrate. His tongue came up to your clit swirling around it, as he made it vibrate against it.
One thing about Robots is they could do so many things humans couldn’t do. God were you finding it out right now. The vibrations of his tongue mixing with his fingers curling against your walls was bringing you over the edge so fast. “Felix! Fuck I’m- fuck I’m close” you mumbled out gripping onto his long blonde hair as you rode his face chasing your high. Your movements made him moan his hand left his cock so he could play with your nipples. Wanting to pleasure you more than anything. He made his fingers cold like ice as he traced over them. Perking them up the feeling of it drove you over the edge. You came, legs shaking as the closed burring Felix’s face into your cunt. As he lapped up your juices you were a moaning mess. The feeling of him still going making you so overstimulated.
When he pulled away you brought you to your room laying himself down on the bed “use me. I’m here to please you. Please.. fuck please use me” he babbled out. Your eyes finally met his cock, it was so thick average length but so so fucking thick. Your mouth almost drooled at it before you could even think you go down licking the tip of his cock. His hips bucked at the surprise his mouth ajar as he let out the lowest groan. You smiled to yourself before moving to straddle him. You leaned down to kiss him rubbing your soaked pussy against his cock.
The movement made you both moans against each other’s lips. When you felt like he was good and wet you let him slip in slowly. Eyes rolling back as you felt his whole length inside you. “S-so warm” he whimpered. The feeling of him so full inside you made your brain go foggy. You leaned back and with out warning started to ride him. Bouncing your hips up and down taking him all in. His hands went to grip your sides shaking almost at the feeling. “Fuck y/n- please- fuck- yes use me- fucking use me” he moaned out his hands digging into your hips.
His words made your head spin, moving your hips as fast as you can taking him as deep as you could. You let your hands wonder his body, wishing you could leave marks on his skin. Your movements were getting lazy as your legs go tired and your high was quickly approaching again. “Gonna cum?” He asked eyes half open. When you nod he’s wrapping his arms around you pulling you to his chest. His cock moved fast in and out of you, non human fast. As his cock hit your cervix you both let out a moan.
“Lix fuck right there fuck- please don’t stop” you cried out. He nodded as he kept the same pace. “Tell me when you’re gonna cum I wanna cum with you please. Please baby fuck I wanna fill you with everything I got. I love you y/n. I love you so much. My beautiful. My everything.” He babbled. “Do you love me? Please y/n tell me you love me” he looked like he could cry at the pleasure at the thought of you loving him back. “Fuck Lix! I love you fuck I love you so much! You’re all mine yeah? All mine to use like my dirty little toy?” Your words brought something out in him.
His eyes rolled back hips hitting deep with in you harder than the last his hand coming down to play with your clit. “All- yours- yours” he kept repeating that over and over with every thrust. “Cu-cumming!” You choked out pussy swallowing him in as he gave you one more thrust letting himself unload deep inside you. He kissed you passionately holding onto you tight. He brushed some hair from your face as he pulled away looking into your eyes.
“You really mean it?” He said eyes looking over your face. “Of course I do silly, I wouldn’t say it if I didn’t” you said with a smile pulling him into another kiss. “Even if I’m.. not human?” He said with a small pout. “Honestly I like you even more knowing you’re not. Humans kinda suck.” You giggled. Making him laugh “not all of them, I got the most perfect one though.” He said rubbing your back. “I love you Lixie” you said softly. “And I love you” he said back.
“Lix?” You said softly. He looked at you tilting his head “yeah?” He said. “How’s about another go?” You said face all red. He chucked “i can go as many rounds as you need baby” and boy were you gonna put that to the test.

felix was known for his love of physical touch.
you literally could not find him not touching someone in some sort of way. so much so that you give him the unoriginal title of ‘cuddle bug.’ now this was also true tenfold when he was high.
anytime you got high with him, he’d always somehow find himself on top of you, and 9 times out of 10, with his head on your boobs.
you both were sat on your bed, a couple of hits deep, when he feels the need to touch you. you were propped up on some pillows on your side, face smushed into a random plushie as you were invested in whatever youtube video was on your phone.
he makes his way over to you from the other side of the bed. he inserts himself in the little space between you and your phone cause you to lean back.
he pushes you fully in your back, before flooping down onto you, his head on your tits. you thought nothing of it, you going back to your video, felix mindless scrolling on twitter.
a few minutes go by before felix lets out a laugh. he turns his phone to you, showing you something he found scrolling. “this is me.” what was it? literally just a picture of tits, a meme of spongebob smiling big and the caption ‘me when boob’.
“no shot you’re looking at other boobs while laying on mine” you tease. he sits up to defend himself but you won’t here it “foul! foul i’ll tell you! are mine not good enough for you?”
you were enjoying this too much, felix’s freckled face was red the more flustered he got. “no no! i love your boobs! they’re the best!” you kept egging him, finding it cute as he tried to defend himself.
“suuure they are, i’m sure you tell all the girls that.” unbeknownst to you, you struck a cord. you had forgotten how sensitive the precious sunshine became when he was inebriated.
“no, that’s not true.” he mumbled, causing you to sit up. “hey hey, lix, i’m joking bug, i’m sorry.” you rub his thigh, hoping to soothe him.
he looks over at you with a pout. “don’t do that.” he playfully hits you, pulling a giggle from you. “i’m sorry, i’m sorry.” you squeal, as he toss both your phones away before he throws more playful hits your way.
you throw yourself back, attempting to protect yourself from his attacks. eventually he halts his attacks, finding himself straddling your hips, leaning over you, both of you breathing slightly heavier. you both feel something shift, the tension becoming thicker .
“you know, i think i deserve something special for you being mean.” your mind hazy not just from the weed but now felix’s presence over you.
“what do you have in mind?” you ask softly. not breaking eye contact, he brings one hand up to cover your clothed tit, giving it a light squeeze. “i think you should let me show you how much love them.” his deep voice sending shockwaves through your system.
you give him a soft nod, keeping your eyes on his. you had taken your bra off almost as soon as both of you had entered your apartment, you hated the way the underwire felt, especially when he laid on them.
so you could feel every agonizing movement he made, brushing your senstive bud each time. you watch as he brings himself down, making himself eye level with the now hardened bud.
he brushes his thumb over it, revealing it through the fabric. he takes the bud in his mouth over your shirt, keeping eye contact with you, catching every glimpse of your face he can get.
he alternates between sucking it and flicking his tongue around it. he brings his hand to your other tit, making that peak hard on contact.
the combined stimulation, caused you to let out a soft moan. he pulls away from you, causing a whine to leave you.
“does that feel good mama?” you nod your head, brain too fuzzy to form words. you were sure it was the weed but something about your mind already hazy made this feel that much better.
he places a kiss to the wet peak before reaching down, and pulling at the hem of your shirt, “lean up for me.” he taps the side of your boobs with his free hand. you knew deep down he only did that to see you tit jiggle a bit.
he pulls the shirt off as you lean forward, tossing it somewhere in the room. he kisses the nipple he has had been sucking for the past minute or so before moving to the other one.
he places a kiss to it once again before taking it in his mouth fully. you let out a breathy moan, finally feel his mouth on you. he lets out a moan, sucking the hardened bud happily. you felt like you were on cloud 9, you wrapped your arms around him, one around his shoulder the other in his hair.
he grazed your nipple with his teeth causing you to let out a squeak. “lix please.” you begged, your thighs pressing together. “what’s wrong, hm? you feeling needy.” you pout at his words nodding your head again.
“don’t worry mama, i got you.” he smiles, before taking your nipple between his teeth once more.
you let out a whimper, his voice and actions taking over your senses completely. your hands fisting his soft locks as he continues his work. “lix please.”
he ignores your pleas, simply too invested in softly sucking your chest. he becomes dazed, cheek pressing against your soft flesh as he relaxes into you. “god, you’re fucking perfect.” he says releasing your nipple for a moment.
he gives it a soft blow before giving it one last lick and kiss before moving to the other side once more.
he melts into you once again, his cheek pressed to you as he lazily sucks. he had his hand playing with your other boob, pulling yet another whine from you.
“baby boy,” you moan, head falling back at the stimulation. “as pretty as you look with my nipple in your mouth i need something more.” he pulls back, pout evident on his freckled face.
“but they feel so nice to play with.” his hands still pawing at them, rolling your nipples between his fingers. you grab his hands, intertwining your fingers. “i know baby but i think i’m gonna go insane if you don’t do something else in the next 10 seconds.”
his cheeks flush before you pull him down to you. you capture his lips in a feverish kiss, taking one of your hands to card through his soft strands. he moans into your mouth as you gently tug at them, scratching his scalp softly.
his free hand makes its way to the side of your breast, playing with it once more. “have i just unlocked an obsession for my boobs in you.” you ask, pulling away from him, breathing heavy.
he gives you a confused look, “what do you mean just unlocked? i have my face in your tits half the time for a reason.” he says like it’s obvious.
you let out a giggle as he leans down, placing kisses on your jaw before making his way down. he stops at your boobs once again. “felix i swear to god i won’t let you play on them again.” you threaten, cause him to shoot up.
“that seems a bit drastic no?” you roll your eyes, “i don’t care, please.” you whine, feeling yourself going insane at the lack of stimulation. “okay, okay, i’m sorry.” he places one last kiss to each nipple before making his way down.
he trails a bunch of kisses across your soft tummy, one to each hip bone before pulling down your shorts. “fuck angel,” he breathes as he spreads your legs, staring at the wet patch on your light blue panties.
he places a kiss to it before rubbing small circles with his thumb. “ah.” you moan, at the slight stimulation. “lixie, please.” your mind is so far gone and he’s barely touched you. between him and the weed, it was fucking intoxicating.
“i know baby, i know,” he reassures, his voice dropping an octave or two. he’s rubbing smalls circles to your clothed clit, mesmerized by the growing wet patch darken the fabric.
“all this because of me?” he asks, looking back to you. you nod, pout present on your lips, “all you lixie.” you mumbled. he places once last kiss to the wet patch before removing those as well.
“look at this pretty pussy hm?” he spreads your lips apart, eyes sparkling as he takes in the sight of your glistening cunt.
he licks a long stripe from your wet entrance up to your bundle of nerves. he latches onto it, giving it a harsh suck. “ah! fuck.” you moan, back arching as you reach for the closest thing for you to hold, which happened to be a stuffie.
you stuff your face in its tummy and felix expertly plays with your swollen clit. you turn your head to the side moaning into the soft toy and he slips a finger in.
he pulls away, but his finger keeps thrusting into you. “no, no, my sweet girl, let me hear you baby.” his free hand rubbing your inner thigh, as he places kisses all around your clit.
“ lixie,” you cry, turning to look at him while tucking the plushie into your chest. “i know mama, am i making you feel good?” he asks between kisses.
“yes, yes, it feels so good, more please.” you beg, you needed more, you needed your senses completely overwhelmed by him.
he adds a second finger before completely taking your clit in his mouth once more. “ah,” you cry, back arching at the added stimulation. “lixie please, don’t stop.”
the weed in your system was making everything feel euphoric. he takes the hand that was rubbing soothing circles to your thigh to spread you out, giving him easier access to your pretty clit.
you moan, your hand coming up to squeeze your tit, finger brushing your peaked bud.
“look at you,” he pauses for a moment to flick your clit once more. “so gorgeous for me,” he gives the bundle a suck before grazing his teeth against the nerves, pulling a high pitched moan from you.
“sounding so pretty for me hm?” he speeds up his fingers, curling them into that gummy spot, sending you into a state of pure bliss. “ah!” you scream, breathing heavy, head thrown back.
“fe-felix, p-please, i’m gonna c-cum.” you manage to stutter, your senses fully overtaken by him. “yeah? my pretty girl gonna cum?” he slips a third finger in, causing your eyes to roll back into you head.
“yes, yes, please, li-lixie, i can’t-“ you cut yourself off with a moan, it was feeling almost too good but you needed your release more than air in that moment.
he ignores your comment. “my baby playing with her pretty tits for me,” he blows on your clit, causing you to squeeze and brush your sensitive nipple. “play with your nipple for me baby.” you follow what he says, letting out a pornographic moan.
“felix p-please.” you cry, tears collecting in your eyes as the coil in your tummy becomes tighter and tighter. “come on angel, show me how good i’m making you feel.”
his fingers become impossibly faster, his mouth attached to your clit, sucking it into his mouth while his tongue flicks it.
you scream at the stimulation, your hips rocking against his face, chasing your release. plushie in a death grip to your chest and you roll your nipple between your fingers.
“felix!” you moan as the coil snaps, feeling everything and nothing at the same time. he works you through your high, slowing his fingers but not stopping them.
your clit still in his mouth as he overstimulates you. your body convulses as the shockwaves run through you. “l-lix please, it’s too m-much.” you whimper, body shaking hiding your face once again.
his stills his fingers, pulling his mouth off you to give your clit a few loving kisses. “so pretty for me angel.” he whispers between kisses.
“l-lixie.” you call out to him, needing to feel him pressed against you. he looks up at you, making grabby hands to him making him smile.
he carefully pulls his digits out, pulling a whimper from you in the process. he gives your clit a few more kisses, causing your legs to shake involuntarily.
he makes his way up, kissing your tummy and of course, each nipple and even giving one a cheeky suck.
once he makes his way up you, laying on top of you, plushie squished between you, wrapping your legs and arms around him, pulling him close. he giggles at your cuteness before giving you a loving kiss.
“i love you mama.” he mumbles into the kiss. you smile against him, “i love you more lix.” you pull him tighter to you, both of you falling in a quick, peaceful slumber.
(and yes he does wake you up later, mouth attached to your nipple once again.)

A group of meddling friends, a sprig of mistletoe, and a month full of holiday mischief—what could go wrong? For Y/n and Felix, their obliviousness to their own feelings is only rivaled by their friends’ determination to push them together. As December unfolds, so do a series of awkward, sweet, and unexpected moments that might just make this Christmas unforgettable.
pairing: lee felix x reader
wordcount: 8k
genre/warnings: college!au, best friends to lovers, friends meddling, mistletoe mishaps, awkward encounters, two very oblivious idiots, suggestive content (like a tiny bit), tooth rotting fluff, mentions of alcohol and partying and a smidge of angst. I guess minsung if u squint
A/N: This has been a wip for like... three years now lmao. i really hope you guys like it, feedback and constructive criticism is greatly appreciated <3 also english is not my first language... so yeah sorry if there are any mistakes

It all started with something simple—shared morning lattes and soft exchanges of “good morning” during your early lectures. Those small, fleeting moments quietly grew into endless hours spent together, until you and Felix became nearly inseparable. The group noticed quickly. The way your laughter came easier when he was around, the way his eyes lingered on you when he thought no one was looking—it was hard to miss. And though you both insisted it was just friendship, the boys could see the truth: you were smitten, both of you, even if you were too stubborn or oblivious to admit it.
As the year went on, the group quietly rooted for something more to happen. There was an undeniable chemistry between you, a natural ease that left everyone wondering when—not if—you’d finally realize your feelings for each other. But no matter how much teasing or hinting was thrown your way, you both deflected it with flustered laughs and hasty denials. Every attempt to nudge you closer ended the same, with perfect excuses and an almost comical level of obliviousness.
Eventually, the boys eased off, figuring you’d figure it out on your own. But when December rolled around, your dynamic began to shift. Maybe it was the Christmas spirit, or maybe it was just the closeness that winter seemed to bring, but the two of you became even more inseparable—more clingy, more obviously something.
It was late November when the group gathered at Chan’s place, watching the two of you from afar and exchanging knowing looks. They’d waited long enough. If gentle teasing and subtle hints weren’t going to work, maybe it was time to take matters into their own hands. Armed with a sprig of mistletoe, a little holiday mischief, and a determination to finally get you two to confess, they began crafting their foolproof plan. This Christmas, one way or another, you and Felix would stop denying what everyone else already knew.
December 1st:
To kick off the Christmas season, everyone had gathered at Changbin’s for the monthly movie night. Everyone except you and Felix, of course, who were running late after your evening lecture together. The rest of the group had already settled in: Jisung and Minho were cracking open beers and chatting by the couch, Chan and Seungmin were busy piling blankets and pillows onto every available surface, while Hyunjin and Jeongin hovered over the snacks, stealing bites when they thought no one was looking.
Changbin, meanwhile, was in the kitchen, leaning over the counter with a frantic expression and sweat beading on his forehead. His white t-shirt clung to him, dark spots blooming around the neckline. He’d spent the last hour scrambling to prepare what could only be described as a chaotic masterpiece.
He held the item up in his hands, tilting it left and right under the kitchen light to inspect its durability. It was a long, slender branch, stripped of its excess twigs and carefully wrapped in duct tape. At the tip dangled a sprig of mistletoe, the final touch to what he jokingly called his “cupid’s staff.” After months of teasing, jokes, and failed schemes to push you and Felix closer, drastic measures were now on the table.
“Hey, you almost done in here?” Chan’s head popped around the doorframe, startling Changbin. “They’re on their way.”
Changbin glanced at his creation one last time before sighing. “I have no idea if this’ll work,” he muttered, holding it like a fragile relic.
Chan smirked, his eyes turning into crescents. “It’s worth a shot. If anyone can pull this off, it’s you.” He gave Changbin an encouraging pat on the shoulder before disappearing back into the living room. Changbin rolled his eyes but couldn’t help grinning as he cleaned up the remnants of his “art project.”
When you and Felix finally arrived, your shared giggles preceded you, drawing attention as you stepped through the door. The others didn’t waste a second guiding you both to the loveseat—a small, almost comically cramped piece of furniture. You were forced to sit shoulder-to-shoulder, your legs draped casually across Felix’s lap. The closeness didn’t seem to bother either of you, and soon a comfortable silence fell over the room as the opening credits of the movie began to roll.
Changbin bided his time, waiting until everyone was engrossed in the movie before slipping away to retrieve his cupid’s branch. “Bathroom break,” he muttered, his heart pounding as he snuck the mistletoe stick out of its hiding spot.
Returning to the room, he carefully hid the branch behind his back as he took his seat. Minho noticed immediately, raising a brow and stifling a laugh, which, of course, drew your attention.
“What’s so funny, Min?” you asked, glancing over.
Changbin shot Minho a deadly glare, silently mouthing, Don’t you dare. Minho, however, didn’t even glance back at him. Instead, he deadpanned, “Changbin’s face. It’s just… always funny.”
The group erupted into laughter, with Seungmin letting out a snort loud enough to shake the pillows. “Minho, I swear, one of these days, I’m going to drop a dumbbell on you at the gym,” Changbin snapped, though the threat lacked any real malice.
Minho gasped dramatically, turning away with an exaggerated pout. “Whatever, I’m cuddling Jisung now. At least he appreciates me.”
Jisung, already sitting beside him, slung an arm over Minho’s shoulders. “I got you, Min,” he said with mock sincerity.
The laughter settled, and everyone turned back to the screen. Everyone except Changbin, who gripped his mistletoe stick like it was Excalibur, waiting for the perfect moment. He threw a quick glance in your direction and couldn’t help but smirk. Your head was now leaning against Felix’s shoulder, your face nestled into the crook of his neck, while his hand rested lightly on your thigh. Felix’s ears were burning red, a clear giveaway of how flustered he was despite his calm expression. You’re making this way too easy for me, Changbin thought, adjusting his grip on the branch.
Unbeknownst to Changbin, your thoughts were far away from the movie. When did he become so beautiful? you wondered for the hundredth time since you’d met Felix. Tonight, though, the thought felt heavier as you stared at the way the TV’s soft light highlighted his freckles, making his eyes shine like little suns. You’d accepted your feelings for him a long time ago, even if you were convinced they weren’t mutual. You’d come to terms with it—being his friend was enough, wasn’t it? But moments like this, so close to him, made it harder to ignore the small ache in your chest.
Meanwhile, Felix was doing everything in his power not to look down at you. His heart raced every time your breath fanned against his neck, and the weight of your legs draped over his lap was making it impossible to think straight. He clenched his jaw, his thoughts a chaotic mess. Stop being ridiculous. She doesn’t like you like that. But even as he told himself that, a part of him wished—hoped—that maybe he was wrong.
That’s when Changbin made his move. Slowly, he leaned forward, positioning the mistletoe just above you and Felix. At first, Felix didn’t notice—his focus was entirely on not pulling you closer. But when a faint movement caught the corner of his eye, his head shot up. His eyes landed on the mistletoe, and his entire body stiffened.
“What the hell, Changbin?” Felix’s voice came out sharper than intended, snapping everyone’s attention to him. His jaw tightened, and his eyes darted from the mistletoe to Changbin’s sheepish grin.
“It’s just a bit of fun,” Changbin replied, trying to keep it light. “Tradition, you know?”
“Yeah, hilarious,” Felix said coldly, his tone dripping with sarcasm. He avoided looking at you entirely, his gaze fixed firmly on the floor.
Your stomach sank at his reaction. Does the thought of kissing me disgust him that much? you wondered, your cheeks burning with embarrassment. Clearing your throat, you shifted slightly away from him, your heart sinking as your insecurities bubbled to the surface.
Sensing the tension, Minho quickly stepped in. “Alright, alright, let’s get back to the movie, yeah? Changbin, retire your cupid stick.”
The awkwardness lingered for the rest of the night, though no one dared to mention the mistletoe again. By the time the movie ended, you and Felix left without so much as a word to each other, the comfortable closeness from earlier now replaced with a noticeable distance.
As you walked home in opposite directions, the silence between you hung heavy in the air, leaving you both with thoughts you couldn’t bring yourselves to say aloud.
December 6th:
Minho’s invitation to dinner—just you, Felix, and Jisung—felt like the perfect excuse to shake off the awkwardness lingering from the group’s last gathering. Felix had eagerly agreed, and you didn’t hesitate either. Spending time with him in a smaller, more relaxed setting was always easy. Plus, Minho’s cooking was a draw on its own.
As you stepped into Minho’s apartment, the warmth and delicious aroma of home-cooked food enveloped you immediately. “Welcome to Minho’s Michelin-star kitchen,” he announced proudly, ushering you inside.
Jisung, sprawled lazily on the couch, smirked. “Minho’s been on a mission to impress all day. He even cleaned the stove. You better be prepared to cry tears of joy.”
“Please,” Minho shot back. “You’ll be too busy shoving food into your mouth to cry.”
Laughing, you made your way to the small dining table set beautifully for four. You slid into your seat beside Felix while Minho and Jisung sat across from you. The atmosphere was cozy, made warmer by the soft yellow light spilling from the lamp above the table.
The conversation flowed easily as you started eating, a mix of light teasing and genuine updates. Minho, always perceptive, grinned as he turned his attention to you. “So, Y/n, heard you totally destroyed that exam you were stressing over? What’s your secret? Is it some kind of illegal genius potion? Do I need to call someone?”
You laughed, shaking your head. “No genius potion, just sheer panic, too much coffee, and maybe a sprinkle of luck.” You reached for the salt shaker, but your movement froze as your gaze drifted upward. Dangling from the lamp above the table, hanging innocently over you and Felix, was a sprig of mistletoe.
Your cheeks instantly heated. Minho and Jisung exchanged amused glances, poorly concealing their smirks as they watched you both. Out of the corner of your eye, you noticed Felix’s grip tighten slightly on his fork, his gaze firmly planted on his plate. He must have noticed it earlier, but he hadn’t said a word. Of course he hadn’t.
You cleared your throat, breaking the moment, and continued your original task of grabbing the salt, doing your best to ignore the festive little sprig taunting you from above. Felix didn’t look up once, seemingly invested in rearranging the food on his plate.
For the rest of the meal, your interactions with Felix felt careful and muted, though you couldn’t help sneaking a few glances his way. Whenever Minho wasn’t looking, you narrowed your eyes at him, your silent death glare saying all the things you couldn’t say out loud. But if he noticed your glare—and he absolutely did—he didn’t seem fazed, calmly serving himself another helping of food and chatting with Jisung about the latest drama in their group of friends.
By the time dinner ended, the mistletoe still hung over you like an unanswered question, but neither of you dared to acknowledge it. You and Felix thanked Minho for the food and began your walk home in the crisp December night air.
The silence at first was comfortable, your shoes crunching softly against the pavement. It didn’t take long before Felix cracked a joke about Jisung’s overly dramatic reaction to Minho’s slightly burnt bread rolls, and soon your laughter echoed easily down the quiet street.
Amidst your conversation, Felix slipped his hand into yours. It wasn’t unusual for you two to hold hands—it was something you’d done before—but tonight it felt different. Maybe it was the warmth of the moment, or maybe it was the quiet intimacy of walking side by side under the twinkling streetlights. Whatever it was, you couldn’t help but notice how natural it felt, as though his hand belonged there.
Felix glanced at you out of the corner of his eye, his soft smile catching the faint glow of the streetlights. “You know,” he began, his voice casual but slightly hesitant, “this kind of feels like… a nice tradition.”
You tilted your head, squeezing his hand lightly. “What does?”
“This,” he said, his gaze flicking briefly to your joined hands before he quickly added with a nervous laugh, “You know… just as friends. It’s nice, right? No weird mistletoe stuff this time.”
Your laugh was light, but something tightened in your chest at his words. “Yeah,” you said softly, glancing ahead. “No surprises hanging over our heads.”
The silence that followed wasn’t awkward, but it wasn’t entirely comfortable either. Felix’s grip on your hand tightened slightly, as if he was afraid you’d pull away, but you didn’t. You kept walking side by side, your steps naturally syncing with each other like they always did.
His words lingered in your mind, though, the way he so quickly clarified the moment as just friendly. Did he think you might have assumed something else? Had you been assuming something else? The thought stirred uneasily in your chest, but you shook it off, blaming it on the holiday awkwardness that had been following you both since the start of December.
Beside you, Felix wasn’t any calmer. His heart raced, and he berated himself silently. ‘Why did I say that? Now it’s weird. What if she thinks I’m overthinking? What if she wasn’t thinking about it, but now she is?’ His thoughts swirled in an endless loop of self-doubt, but even amidst the chaos in his mind, he felt the warmth of your hand in his and refused to let go.
The walk continued, the quiet punctuated by shared smiles and lighthearted comments, both of you silently agreeing not to think too much about the moment. For now, it was enough.
Unbeknownst to you, Minho and Jisung stood by their apartment window, watching as your figures grew smaller in the distance. “They’re hopeless,” Jisung said with a laugh, shaking his head.
“Yeah,” Minho agreed, smiling fondly. “But this time, I think they’re starting to get it.”
December 12th:
Visits to the dance studio where Minho, Hyunjin, and Felix practiced had become a regular part of your routine. You enjoyed seeing the trio perfect their routines and loved bringing them food and drinks as a small gesture of support. Tonight, you decided to surprise them, knowing how late their rehearsals often ran. The thumping bass and sharp rhythm of the music greeted you as you entered the studio, the trio moving in perfect sync with the beat. The energy in the room was magnetic, and you couldn’t help but admire the sheer dedication in each step. For a moment, you stood in the doorway, watching them in awe, before they noticed you.
Minho spotted you first, his face breaking into a wide grin. “Perfect timing, Y/n! We’re starving,” he announced, cutting the music off as the others collapsed onto the floor in mock exhaustion. Hyunjin dramatically wiped his brow, flopping onto his back. “You’re basically a lifesaver at this point,” he joked, while Felix walked over to you with a shy smile, murmuring a soft “Thanks for coming.”
You sat down with them on the studio floor, unpacking the food and drinks. The conversation flowed easily, filled with playful teasing and updates about your days. Felix, ever the enthusiastic eater, dove into his food with gusto, but it didn’t take long for disaster to strike. “You’ve got sauce on your face, Felix,” you said, stifling a laugh as you reached for a napkin. Without hesitation, you leaned in to wipe it off.
But just as your hand neared his face, Hyunjin leaned over you with an outstretched arm, dangling a sprig of mistletoe above your head. “Oops, look at that,” he said with a mischievous grin. Your hand froze midair, your eyes locking on the mistletoe first, then darting to Felix. His eyes were wide, his cheeks already dusted with pink. The moment stretched out awkwardly, your hand only inches from his face, until the reality of the situation hit you like a jolt. You recoiled sharply, your heart racing. “I—I should go,” you stammered, grabbing your bag and standing up so quickly it almost knocked over a drink. “Lots to do tonight, sorry!” Before anyone could say a word, you rushed out of the studio, the door swinging shut behind you.
The silence left behind was deafening. Felix sat frozen, his hand hovering where yours had been moments before, staring at the door you’d disappeared through. His brow furrowed as a mix of frustration and regret crossed his face. “Hyunjin,” he said slowly, his tone sharp, “what the hell was that? The mistletoe again?”
Hyunjin blinked, startled by Felix’s tone. “I just thought it’d be funny,” he said defensively, holding the mistletoe up like a white flag. But when Felix’s glare didn’t falter, Hyunjin sighed and dropped the sprig onto the floor. “Look, if you hadn’t reacted so… harshly the first time, maybe Y/n wouldn’t be so jumpy now. I mean, do you even know how much she likes you?”
Felix’s jaw tightened. “What?” he asked, his voice lower now, but Hyunjin just shook his head, standing up to grab a drink. “Figure it out, man. We’re just trying to help, but it’s like you’re both running away every time something happens.”
Felix didn’t respond. He stared at the mistletoe on the floor, Hyunjin’s words echoing in his head. If you hadn’t reacted so harshly the first time… maybe Y/n wouldn’t be so jumpy now. Was that true? Had he set this whole thing in motion? He thought back to the first mistletoe incident at Changbin’s—a moment he’d shut down immediately because the idea of forcing you into something like that felt wrong. He didn’t want you to feel uncomfortable or pressured, not when he thought you might find it absolutely weird and deem him a creep or something. But now… was it his reaction that had made things worse? Was he the one creating this distance?
His chest tightened. He’d thought he was protecting you—protecting your friendship—but maybe he’d only made things more awkward. And now you were running out of rooms because of him. The studio fell quiet again, save for the faint sound of Minho munching on chips. After a long silence, Minho glanced up, leaning forward slightly. “Felix, don’t overthink it,” he said gently, his voice less teasing than usual. “You two always bounce back. Just… maybe next time, don’t run away from the moment, yeah?”
Felix nodded slowly, Minho’s words sinking in, but he still couldn’t shake the weight in his chest. As rehearsal resumed, he danced on autopilot, his movements mechanical as his mind replayed the night’s events. By the time the music stopped again, one thought was firmly planted in his mind: I can’t let this keep happening. I’ve got to figure out how to make things right with her.
December 16th:
It had been a few days since the series of awkward holiday encounters—movie night, the dinner at Minho’s, and the fiasco at the dance studio. You and Felix had fallen back into your usual rhythm, or at least, you were trying to. The moments of closeness still felt natural, but there was a tension beneath the surface, a hesitance that hadn’t been there before. You chalked it up to everything that had happened, telling yourself that things would smooth out eventually.
The two of you were standing by your locker that morning, talking like usual, and for once, it felt normal again. Felix leaned casually against the locker next to yours, his freckled cheeks still slightly pink from the cold outside.
“I’m calling it now—Chan’s going to make us rewrite our part of the group project by the end of the week,” Felix said with a smirk. “He’s going to find some tiny typo and have an existential crisis about it.”
You laughed, shaking your head as you grabbed a book from your locker. “He’s probably already composing the email. I give him until tomorrow before we get hit with, ‘Just a few more adjustments.’”
Felix laughed along with you, his eyes crinkling at the corners. Moments like this were your favorite—easy, light, like nothing had changed. The awkwardness from the last few days felt far away, almost forgotten. Almost.
But then Jisung appeared.
“Wow, if it isn’t my favorite dynamic duo!” he called out, his voice loud enough to draw a few glances from passing students. You turned your head just as he stopped in front of you, his usual mischievous grin plastered across his face.
“Jisung…” you began cautiously, narrowing your eyes at him. “What are you doing?”
Instead of answering, he gave you and Felix a mockingly sweet look, then reached up and held something over your heads. Your stomach sank the moment you realized what he was doing.
Felix noticed immediately too. His laughter faded, and for a split second, he looked up before his eyes flicked to you. But instead of pulling away or frowning like he had the first time, he hesitated, his lips parting slightly as if he was about to say something. His posture softened, his hand twitching at his side as though he wanted to reach out but wasn’t sure if he should. “Y/n, it’s not a big deal,” he said, his voice quiet and careful.
But you didn’t hear the gentleness in his words. The memory of his sharp reaction the first time flashed in your mind like a warning sign. You panicked, your body stiffening as a heat rose to your face. “Jisung!” you exclaimed, your voice harsher than you intended as you reached out to push him aside.
He stumbled back with a yelp, clutching his chest dramatically. “Whoa, okay! No need to shove!” he said, though his tone was still playful.
“I’m not doing this right now,” you muttered, hastily grabbing your bag. Your eyes didn’t meet Felix’s, even as you felt his gaze lingering on you. “I’ve got to get to class.”
And with that, you turned and walked away, leaving Felix and Jisung standing there in the middle of the hallway.
The silence between them was heavy for a moment, until Jisung let out a low whistle. “Well, that didn’t go as planned,” he muttered, looking at Felix.
Felix was still staring down the hall, his expression hard to read. His arms hung at his sides, his shoulders tense. Finally, he spoke, his voice quiet but laced with frustration. “Why do you keep doing that, Jisung?”
Jisung blinked. “Doing what?”
Felix turned to him, his jaw tight. “This. Pushing her like that. It’s not helping.”
Jisung tilted his head, holding his hands up defensively. “Whoa, relax, man. I thought you two were back to normal. You were laughing and talking like nothing was wrong—I figured maybe this time, it wouldn’t be a big deal.”
Felix ran a hand through his hair, letting out a sigh. “Well, it is a big deal. She’s already uncomfortable with everything that’s happened, and now she’s just…” He trailed off, his voice growing softer. “She probably thinks I don’t want this. That I don’t want her.”
Jisung frowned, his usual playful expression replaced by something more serious. “You don’t think she knows how you feel?”
Felix let out a short, humorless laugh. “How could she? The first time this happened, I acted like the whole idea was some big joke. She probably thinks the idea of… of anything between us is disgusting to me.” He leaned back against the lockers, his gaze falling to the floor. “But it’s not. It’s the opposite. I just didn’t want her to feel pressured into anything. I thought I was doing the right thing.”
Jisung studied him for a moment, then let out a sigh. “Look, man, maybe it’s time to stop trying to protect her from something she doesn’t need protecting from. I mean, she’s clearly as caught up in her head as you are. Maybe instead of freaking out, you could, I don’t know, actually say something next time?”
Felix looked up at him, frowning. “Say what?”
Jisung smirked faintly, patting Felix on the shoulder. “Figure it out. Just… do something before she sprints away again. You’re both miserable, and it’s kind of painful to watch.”
And with that, Jisung walked off, leaving Felix standing alone in the hallway. Felix let out another sigh, leaning his head back against the lockers.
Maybe Jisung’s right, he thought, the idea twisting in his chest. She probably thinks I don’t want her. But what if she… what if she doesn’t want me either?
The thought made his stomach churn, but as he stood there, staring down the hallway where you’d disappeared, he resolved to himself that next time—if there was a next time—he wouldn’t let things end like this.
December 20th:
The soft hum of Christmas music filled the cozy café where you worked, the glow of fairy lights strung along the walls casting a warm, festive ambiance. The evening shift had been slow, with only the occasional customer trickling in, leaving you and Jeongin plenty of time to chat and clean. When the bells above the door jingled, you glanced up, immediately spotting Felix stepping in from the cold. A puff of white breath escaped his lips as he unwrapped the scarf from his neck, his cheeks and nose flushed pink from the chilly December air. He looked tired but happy, and his face lit up when he saw you behind the counter.
“Felix!” you called out, leaning slightly over the counter to greet him. “Done with your last exam?”
He grinned as he approached, his hair falling into his eyes. “Finally. I think my brain is fried, but at least I’m free now.” He leaned an elbow on the counter, his usual casual charm impossible to miss. “I needed a victory coffee, and I figured my favorite barista would hook me up.”
You snorted, grabbing a cup and heading toward the espresso machine. “Victory coffee, huh? Is that what we’re calling it? Be honest—did you crush it or barely survive?”
“Crushed it,” he replied quickly, then laughed. “Okay, fine. Maybe there was a little panic halfway through the essay. But come on, you try remembering six economic theories when you’re running on two hours of sleep.”
You rolled your eyes but smiled as you started making his coffee. “Sounds like someone should’ve had one more latte before heading in. Caffeine solves everything, you know.”
“Ah, yes, the secret to success: caffeine addiction,” he teased, resting both elbows on the counter now as he watched you work. Jeongin, wiping down tables nearby, snorted loud enough to make Felix glance his way.
“She doesn’t give just anyone free coffee, you know,” Jeongin quipped. “You must be special.”
Felix smirked, his gaze flickering to yours. “Guess I’m her favorite.”
You felt your cheeks flush but kept your focus on the coffee machine, pretending his words hadn’t made your heart skip. “Careful, sunshine boy, or I’ll start charging you double.”
Jeongin grinned knowingly but didn’t push it, disappearing into the back as you handed Felix his coffee. He took a sip, sighing dramatically as though it were the best thing he’d ever tasted. “Perfect, as always.”
You leaned forward on the counter, resting your chin in your hand as you laughed. “I’ll take that as a five-star Yelp review.”
“You’d get six stars if you threw in a cookie,” he joked, and just like that, the conversation flowed effortlessly. It didn’t matter how awkward things had been between you recently—when it was just the two of you, everything else seemed to melt away. Felix’s freckled cheeks were still pink from the cold, and the warmth in his eyes as he smiled at you made your stomach flip, though you tried to ignore it.
The café was quiet, the snow falling softly outside making the whole world feel muffled and still. Felix leaned closer over the counter, his chin propped on his hand now, mirroring your posture as you teased him about his exam. He was laughing again, the sound low and sweet, and you were so caught up in the moment that you didn’t notice how close you’d both leaned toward each other. The space between you was practically nonexistent, and your heart was thudding in your chest, though you weren’t sure why.
But Felix did notice. Just as his gaze flickered to your lips, a movement caught the corner of his eye. He stilled, his laughter fading as his focus shifted. There, by the pastry case, was Jeongin. He was leaning casually against the counter, a smug grin plastered across his face as he held something above your heads.
Felix’s stomach twisted when he realized what it was: a sprig of mistletoe, dangling lazily from Jeongin’s hand. His initial instinct was to groan or roll his eyes, to glare at Jeongin for meddling again. But then his gaze returned to you. You were still smiling, your eyes shining as you waited for him to say something, completely unaware of Jeongin’s antics.
Felix hesitated. He knew how you felt about the mistletoe by now—how every prank this month had left you retreating, flustered and unsure. But something about the way you were looking at him right now, so close and unguarded, made him want to push past the awkwardness and take the chance. Maybe this was his moment to show you how he really felt.
“Y/n,” he said softly, his voice carrying a warmth that sent a shiver down your spine. “Can I tell you something?”
You raised an eyebrow, your curiosity piqued, though you tried to keep your tone light. “You’re not about to say something cheesy, are you?”
He chuckled, the sound low and genuine, and his gaze softened as he leaned in slightly. “Maybe. But you make it kinda hard not to.”
You opened your mouth, ready to fire back some teasing remark, but before you could, Felix closed the space between you, pressing a soft, lingering kiss to your cheek. The warmth of his lips spread across your skin, catching you so off guard that you froze. For a moment, everything seemed to stand still, the café quiet except for the soft hum of holiday music. But just as your heart started to flutter, your eyes flicked upward—and you saw it.
There, held high above your heads, was Jeongin’s hand. He was leaning against the counter, the branch in his grip swaying slightly, his grin practically splitting his face in two.
The giddy warmth from Felix’s kiss vanished, replaced by a sinking feeling in your chest. Of course. Of course Jeongin had been watching, meddling, dangling his stupid branch like some kind of cupid. You stepped back from Felix slightly, your hand brushing your cheek where his lips had been moments before, and let out a nervous laugh.
“Wow, smooth, Felix,” you said lightly, though your voice felt hollow even to your own ears. You avoided his gaze, your chest tightening with doubt. He’d kissed you, sure, but was it because he wanted to—or because Jeongin had been standing there, making it impossible not to? The thought twisted painfully in your stomach, and you turned your attention to Jeongin, your expression hardening. “And you! Don’t you have anything better to do than play cupid?”
Jeongin grinned shamelessly, lowering the branch. “Nope,” he said, popping the ‘p’ as he straightened up. “You’re welcome, by the way.”
You rolled your eyes and busied yourself behind the counter, trying to ignore the heat rising to your cheeks. You could feel Felix’s gaze on you, but you couldn’t bring yourself to meet it. The moment had been so sweet, so perfect, but now it just felt like a game—like all the other forced encounters this month. The thought of it being anything other than real made your chest ache.
Felix stood there, his own chest tightening as he watched you. He hadn’t missed the way your expression changed the second you noticed Jeongin, how you’d pulled away like the kiss had meant nothing. His grip on his coffee cup tightened, frustration and regret bubbling inside him. He’d kissed you because he wanted to, but now it felt like everything had been ruined by that stupid sprig of greenery.
Later, as Jeongin wiped down a table nearby, Felix caught his eye. “Really?” Felix said, his voice low as he gestured toward the branch now lying on the counter. “You couldn’t help yourself?”
Jeongin smirked, completely unbothered. “You two were this close. I just gave you a little push.”
Felix sighed, running a hand through his hair. “She probably thinks I only kissed her because of you.”
“Well,” Jeongin said, raising an eyebrow, “did you?”
Felix glared at him, his voice soft but firm. “No. I kissed her because I wanted to.”
Jeongin tilted his head, his smirk softening into something almost understanding. “Then maybe next time, let her know that. Don’t let me or some stupid branch do it for you.”
Felix stayed quiet, his eyes flicking toward the counter where you stood, your back still turned to him. Jeongin’s words echoed in his head as he finished his coffee, determination slowly building in his chest. If there was going to be a next time, he wouldn’t leave any room for doubt. Not this time.
December 22nd:
The Christmas party was in full swing, and Chan’s apartment buzzed with the energy of a group finally free from the weight of exams. The music pulsed softly in the background—a mix of festive classics and whatever Jisung had decided to throw into the playlist for chaos. Colored lights blinked unevenly from every corner, their soft glow bathing the room in warmth, while an unsteady Christmas tree leaned dramatically in the corner, its precarious decorations the result of Minho’s refusal to let anyone touch “his masterpiece.” The air was thick with the scent of mulled wine, spiked hot chocolate, and cinnamon candles that Minho had insisted were “mandatory for the aesthetic.” Empty bottles and half-eaten snacks littered the table, and Santa hats had somehow found their way onto everyone’s heads, whether willingly or not.
In the kitchen, you leaned against the counter, cradling a drink that had gone lukewarm in your hand. Minho stood opposite you, arms crossed and a knowing smirk playing on his lips as he watched you with laser focus. The noise from the living room spilled faintly into the space—Jeongin’s laughter cutting through Chan’s groan of defeat, the clinking of glasses, and Jisung’s exaggerated rendition of “Jingle Bell Rock.”
Minho raised an eyebrow, tilting his head as he studied you. “Alright, what’s going on?”
You blinked, startled. “What do you mean?”
“I mean,” Minho said, gesturing toward the door with his glass, “that you’ve been glancing at Felix every five minutes like you’re in a cheesy holiday rom-com, and you’ve barely said three words to him all night. Spill.”
You groaned, setting your drink down on the counter with a little too much force. “It’s nothing,” you muttered, though even you didn’t believe it. “That’s the problem.”
Minho’s smirk softened, and he leaned forward slightly, his sharp gaze not letting you escape. “You know you can talk to me, right? I’m like a free therapist. Minus the therapy license. And the emotional sensitivity.”
You let out a soft laugh despite yourself, shaking your head. “It’s just… complicated,” you said, fiddling with the edge of your sleeve. “This whole mistletoe thing—it’s made everything so weird. And now I feel like I don’t even know where I stand with him. What if all those moments didn’t mean anything? What if he only kissed me at the café because Jeongin was standing there waiting for him to do it?”
Minho let out a long, exasperated sigh, setting his glass down with a dramatic flourish. “Y/n, listen to me. Felix isn’t the kind of guy who does something just because someone else expects him to. If he kissed you, it’s because he wanted to. End of story. Trust me, I’ve known him for years.”
You frowned, chewing on the inside of your cheek. “But what if I’m wrong? What if I say something, and it ruins everything?”
Minho gave you a rare, sincere look, his tone softening. “Then at least you’ll know. But, Y/n, come on. The guy looks at you like you hung the stars. You’ve seen it, right? He’s just as caught up in this as you are. But if you don’t talk to him, you’re both gonna keep circling each other forever.”
You hesitated, the weight of his words settling over you. “You’re really annoying, you know that?” you muttered, picking up your glass again.
Minho grinned, raising his own glass in a mock toast. “And yet, I’m always right.”
Across the room, Felix was perched on the edge of the couch, swirling his drink absently as he stared out the window. The faint glow of the city lights reflected in his dark eyes, but his thoughts were elsewhere. He barely noticed the snow falling in lazy flurries, his mind too busy replaying every moment from the past month—the awkwardness, the misunderstandings, and most of all, the way you’d pulled away at the café after Jeongin’s mistletoe stunt. He kept asking himself the same question: Had he ruined it? Had his hesitation made you think he didn’t care?
Hyunjin plopped down beside him, dragging him back to the present with an exaggerated sigh. “Alright, sunshine boy, what’s your deal?”
Felix blinked, startled. “What?”
“You’ve been sulking in the corner all night,” Hyunjin said, poking him in the ribs with a candy cane. “Which, like, fine, maybe it’s your broody winter aesthetic or whatever, but it’s starting to get depressing. What’s going on?”
Felix let out a soft groan, running a hand through his hair. “It’s nothing.”
“Oh, it’s definitely not nothing,” Seungmin interjected from across the room, where he was perched on the armrest of the couch. “Even Changbin noticed, and he’s been halfway through that punch bowl for the last hour.”
Changbin, who was indeed holding another cup of punch, nodded sagely. “Yeah, man. You’ve been staring at Y/n like she’s the last piece of cake at the bakery.”
Felix groaned again, burying his face in his hands. “I’m not staring.”
Hyunjin snorted. “Right. Sure. You’re just ‘coincidentally’ looking in her direction every thirty seconds.”
Felix dropped his hands, shooting them a glare. “I don’t know, okay? The whole mistletoe thing has been a mess, and I feel like every time I try to fix it, I just make things worse. She probably thinks I only kissed her at the café because Jeongin was watching.”
Hyunjin tilted his head, studying Felix’s slumped posture. “Or—and hear me out—maybe she’s just as scared as you are. Look, Felix, if you want her to know how you feel, you’re gonna have to stop tiptoeing around it. None of this ‘reading between the lines’ crap. Just tell her.”
Felix’s gaze flicked toward the kitchen, where he could just make out the edge of your figure as you leaned against the counter, talking to Minho. His chest tightened. “Yeah,” he said softly. “You’re right.”
Hyunjin grinned, clapping him on the back. “Of course I am.”
The Christmas party had settled into a quieter rhythm, the earlier chaos giving way to a warm buzz of chatter and laughter. Chan’s apartment still brimmed with festive energy—colored lights blinked unevenly from the walls, and the half-decorated tree leaned at an almost comical angle, as though too tired to stand upright after hosting a steady stream of Santa hats and selfies. The scent of mulled wine, cinnamon candles, and something suspiciously burnt wafted through the air, mingling with the faint sounds of Christmas music pulsing from Jisung’s chaotic playlist.
You needed air. The heat of the apartment and the weight of your swirling thoughts had become too much, so you’d slipped out onto the balcony unnoticed. The cold December breeze bit at your skin, sharp and refreshing, as you leaned against the railing and stared out at the snow-dusted city below. The streetlights illuminated the falling snow like glitter, and for a moment, you let the quiet settle over you, a sharp contrast to the hum of energy inside.
Your mind, however, refused to settle. It was caught in a loop, replaying every mistletoe encounter from the past month—the awkward laughter, the stolen glances, the kiss at the café. No matter how hard you tried to push it away, one thought kept returning: Did any of it really mean something? Or had Felix simply gone along with it because he felt like he had to?
The sliding door opened behind you, and you glanced over your shoulder, startled. Felix stepped out, his scarf loosely draped around his neck, and the faint glow from the apartment lit up his freckles like constellations. His cheeks were pink, whether from the cold or the warmth of the party, you weren’t sure. He hesitated for a moment, looking at you like he wasn’t entirely sure he was welcome, before closing the door behind him and stepping closer.
“Hey,” he said softly, his voice carrying over the breeze.
“Hey,” you replied, your breath visible in the cold as you turned back to the view.
For a few moments, neither of you said anything, the silence stretching between you like the snowfall. Felix shifted beside you, leaning on the railing, close enough that his elbow almost brushed yours. You could feel his presence without looking at him, and the weight of unspoken words hung heavy in the air.
“Can we talk?” he asked finally, his voice hesitant but steady.
You nodded, your pulse quickening. “Yeah. We probably should.”
Felix let out a slow breath, his hands gripping the railing as he looked out at the city. “This whole month has been… a lot,” he started, his voice low. “The mistletoe, the teasing, all of it—it made everything feel so much more complicated than it needed to be. And I know I didn’t exactly handle it well.” He paused, glancing at you out of the corner of his eye. “The night at Changbin’s… when I reacted the way I did—it wasn’t because I didn’t want to kiss you.”
You turned to look at him, your chest tightening. “Then why?”
Felix hesitated, his brows furrowing as he stared down at his hands. “Because I didn’t want you to feel pressured. I didn’t want you to think I was only doing it because they were watching. I didn’t want it to feel like some stupid joke.” His voice softened, and he finally looked up to meet your gaze. “I wanted it to be real. And I didn’t want to ruin anything between us by making it weird.”
Your breath caught, and you felt the words spilling out before you could stop them. “And I didn’t want you to kiss me because of them either,” you admitted, your voice trembling slightly. “I wanted you to kiss me because you wanted to. Not because of some stupid branch, or a game, or anything else.”
Felix’s eyes widened slightly, and for a moment, he just stared at you, his chest rising and falling in shallow breaths. “Y/n,” he said softly, his voice barely above a whisper, “that’s the only reason I’ve ever wanted to kiss you.”
The rawness in his tone sent a shiver down your spine, and your heart felt like it might burst. The tension between you was electric, the cold air forgotten as his gaze held yours, unflinching and unguarded. Then, out of the corner of his eye, Felix spotted something on the small table beside you.
He let out a soft laugh, breaking the moment as he reached for it. In his hand was a familiar sprig of greenery—another mistletoe branch, as though the universe itself had been conspiring against you all month. Felix raised it above your heads, a playful smile tugging at his lips despite the nervous edge in his eyes.
“Well,” he said, his voice tinged with amusement, “it wouldn’t be Christmas without one of these, right?”
You stared at the mistletoe for a moment, your emotions a tangled mess of warmth, frustration, and something close to defiance. Then, without a word, you grabbed the branch from his hand, stepped back, and threw it over the railing. The sprig disappeared into the night, swallowed by the snow below.
“To hell with that,” you said, your voice steady but breathless.
Before Felix could react, you closed the distance between you, your hands cupping his face as you leaned in and kissed him. His lips were warm despite the cold, soft and tentative for half a second before he responded, his hands gently settling on your waist like he was afraid you might disappear. The kiss deepened, slow and deliberate, like the two of you were pouring every unsaid word, every missed moment, into it. The rest of the world faded away—there was no snow, no cold, no noise from the party inside. There was only him.
When you finally pulled back, your foreheads rested against each other, your breaths mingling in the frosty air. Felix’s eyes fluttered open, and his freckled cheeks were flushed, his lips tugging into a soft, disbelieving smile.
“Wow,” he said, his voice low and full of awe. “That was definitely all you.”
You laughed, your hands still resting against his cheeks. “Yeah, it was.”
The tender moment was shattered by a loud thump against the glass door. Both of you whipped around to see the boys pressed up against the balcony window—Hyunjin, Jisung, Jeongin, Seungmin, Changbin, Chan, and Minho, all grinning like they’d just won the lottery. Minho smirked as he exchanged a smug high-five with Chan, while Jisung mimed wiping a fake tear from his cheek.
Felix groaned, his head dropping to your shoulder as his ears burned red. “They’re the worst.”
You couldn’t stop laughing, wrapping your arms around him as you leaned your cheek against his hair. “Yeah,” you said, smiling as the snow continued to fall softly around you. “But maybe we owe them for this one.”

I swear I've been staring at this for so long, debating if I should do a full fic or just some thoughts. Well, thank my dear Azzy @galaxycatdrawz for this, because you made his thoughts go wild. Basically I just had to transform his whole little plan into a fic. There will be 2nd chapter (including smut) but have fun with this for now.🖤

Felix’s love life had been nothing but a steady stream of predictable days blending into years. He would have never doubted his beautiful wife and would have never second-guessed her love for him. They had gotten married early and soon found out his wife was incapable of carrying his children. So, after some consideration, they adopted a young girl and raised her like their own. She had grown into a smart young woman, and Felix couldn’t be more proud of her. Given the age gap of only ten years he had always been rather close with her and later you, her best friend.
One night he decided to surprise his wife, coming home early as his daughter was staying at yours. What greeted him wasn’t the usual warmth and coziness of his home but the sight of his wife in a certain setting no man wants to find the love of his life in with another man. For a moment, Felix found himself frozen in place, the safe foundation of his life slowly crumbling away beneath his feet. He whispered her name in disbelief, only to find out that this had been going on for years. Felix felt like his whole life shattered to pieces and the betrayal left an ugly taste of bitterness on his lips. How the hell was he supposed to get out of this?
-
“And then she just left,” your best friend ends her story, and your eyes grow even wider than they have already been.
“You’re kidding?” you ask, shocked.
“Apparently, she said something about how this shit has been going on for years, that she never really loved him, and that she’ll leave until he finds a new place,” she rages on and paces her bedroom angrily. “Oh, and I’m just another burden he talked her into,” she scoffs, and your frown deepens.
“You won’t stay here, right?” you ask cautiously. You can’t imagine she will, but still.
“Oh, hell no. I’ll go with Dad, she can piss off,” she shakes her head and drops onto her mattress. “The perk of being not related to her is that I can push her out of my life for good,” she snorts, and you gently pat her back. “I feel so bad for him,” she sighs.
“It must’ve been a huge shock,” you nod, your heart feeling heavy. Felix has always been kind to you from day one. Whenever your family was struggling, he helped out, even if it was simply by taking you with them to theme parks, the movies, or shopping. Felix was only eight years older than you and ten years older than your best friend, so the older you got, the more he felt like an older friend instead of your best friend’s father. Also, he was stunningly handsome, but that wasn’t relevant right now.
“He’s trying to hide it, but I know how shitty he feels right now,” she tells you worriedly. “I mean, he’s never been with anyone else and-.”
“I’m sure he’ll be fine,” you assure her gently. “He has such a kind heart, I’m sure someone will love him, truly.”
“I will thoroughly check the next person. You’ll have to help me then, go all detective on them,” she smirks, and you agree, laughing.
A gentle knock at the door interrupts you, and Felix opens the door flashing you a tired smile as a greeting before glancing at his daughter. “Channie called, he has a spare place we can have.”
“Just like that?” she asks baffled.
Felix chuckles weakly and rolls his eyes. “Yeah, just like that. I told him I’d pay, but Minho insisted they don’t need the place, and it’s all paid off.”
“How convenient,” she smirks and rolls her eyes. “Typical uncle Min,” she grins.
“Yeah,” he laughs and sighs softly. “You think you can get everything ready in the next few days?”
“You really can’t wait to get out of here, huh?” she laughs, and his smile dies, eyes clouding with pain.
“Yeah, I guess,” he nods and clears his throat as his daughter looks at him apologetically. “Well, let me know when you’re hungry, and we can order something,” he announces, putting on a smile and quickly pulling the door closed.
“See?” she whispers. “That’s exactly what I mean.”
You hum gently and pat your best friend’s knee. “Well, I can help you move, I have nothing to do those next few weeks.”
“You’re so sweet,” she giggles and hops up, ripping the door open. “Dad, Y/nnie says she’s gonna help us move our stuff!” she shouts downstairs.
“Lovely,” Felix shouts back halfheartedly and flinches as his daughter slams the door closed again. “Fucks sake, this woman,” he snorts and stands still in the living room for a moment. He chews on his lower lip as the many memories he made in this very room crash over him like a wave, trying to drown him. “You’re such a dumbass,” he whispers to himself.
“No, you’re not, she’s just a massive bitch,” you speak up gently, suddenly standing in the living room with him.
He blinks at you with wide, confused eyes before a small smile tugs at the corner of his lips. “Mhm, you could say that. Doesn’t make me any wiser, letting her fool me for the past ten years,” he huffs softly and rubs his face. “I just feel bad for her,” he says, and you know he means your best friend upstairs. “All I always wanted for her was a stable home after everything she went through.”
“Look at her, you did great,” you tell him, and he chuckles weakly.
“Yeah,” he sighs. “I don’t even know why I’m telling you this,” he waves you off and blinks at you surprised as you offer him a hug. He accepts it after a short moment of hesitation and bites back a laugh as you pat his back encouragingly.
“You’ll be okay…she’ll never find someone better, so fuck her. It’s her loss,” you tell him, and Felix snorts before letting go of you and grabbing his phone.
“We’ll see,” he hums softly, subtly bringing some distance between the two of you again. “You’re gonna stay for dinner?” he asks, and you gently shake your head.
“I promised Mum I’d be home for dinner today,” you tell him, and he nods gently.
“You need a ride?” he offers, and you wave him off.
“I’ll be fine, promise,” you assure him and exchange your goodbyes.
One week later
You put down the boxes you carried inside and look around with wide eyes. “Wow, Min wasn’t lying. This place is huge.”
“Right? I didn’t quite believe it as well,” your best friend giggles and puts down her boxes as well.
“Why would I lie about that, huh?” Minho asks playfully offended, adding some boxes on the floor next to yours. “You think we’d give your dad and you some shabby place? You think that lowly of us?”
Chan pokes his side, making him squeak and giggles as Minho playfully raises his fists to fight him. “Relax, no one’s calling you a liar, baby.”
“Sure hope so,” he teases and naturally intertwines their hands, pulling Chan with him. “You haven’t seen the view from up here yet,” he announces and waves you after him.
You follow the pair of them onto the huge balcony, and your breath hitches. From up here, you can see parts of the city and the ocean, and still it’s so peaceful up here.
“How’s your dad, kiddo?” Minho asks your best friend after a moment of comfortable silence.
“Worse than he admits,” she answers, and Minho hums gently. “If you ask me, he’s fucking heartbroken and feels worthless. If you ask him, he’s okay and just a little caught up in his thoughts,” she further explains.
“Give him time,” Chan tells her gently and sighs, looking down at the ocean. “Ten years is a lot, you know?”
The door to the balcony opens, and Felix steps outside, laughing at you all. “Seriously? You’re out here enjoying the view while I’m carrying all those boxes?” he asks, and you all start laughing before hurrying back inside to help him.
Once everything is inside, Minho and Chan give you a tour through the house and you wonder what Felix and your friend would do with all this space. The couple soon leaves again to give them some space to settle in.
Your best friend strolls through the house and frowns softly. “You’re alright?” Felix asks her, frowning softly. “I know it’s not home, but we can make it work, it’ll just need some time and-.”
“Dad, home is wherever you are, relax,” she laughs, and Felix nods, stunned, looking adorably touched by her words. “I just…this place is huge.”
“It is,” he nods. “I have no idea what the hell they had planned for this.”
“Nothing useful, as Min put it,” you chime in, and Felix grins at your remark.
“I’ll feel so lonely here if you’re at work,” she speaks up after a moment, and Felix’s face softens.
“Dear, there’ll be a point in your life when you move out and everything. I won’t always be around,” he says, and she glares at him.
“Don’t say shit like that, you’re only ten years older than I am, it’ll take a while,” she points out, and he snorts but gives in, remaining quiet. “Y/nnie, how’s the hunt for a flat going?” she asks.
“I already told you it’s shit,” you sigh softly, not quite picking up on her true intentions behind that question. “It’s either too expensive or so much out of town it’s not exactly convenient.”
“Oh, you’re going to move out?” Felix asks, busying himself with one of the boxes.
“I want to, my parents could use the space for something else,” you nod.
“Dad?” she asks, drawing out the word with a sweet tone.
“What do you want?” he asks, not even looking up.
“She could move in with us,” she says, and you frown at her. Felix looks up, confused, and tilts his head at her. “She can’t find a place, I worry about getting lonely here…you could use some more company as well before you’re fully depressed and-.”
“Will you stop?” he snaps at her. “I’m not depressed, I’m fine besides the fact that I got cheated on after wasting ten years of my life,” he continues and shakes his head at her. “Stop reading into it that much, I’ll start believing you at this point.”
You lower your gaze at the floor and awkwardly shuffle on your feet. “Gosh, relax,” she sighs. “That just proved my point.”
Felix throws the contents of the box back inside and pushes himself up. “I’m getting some fresh air. And yes, you can move in if you want to, it’s not like we’d lack space or whatever,” he says before leaving the two of you.
“Nice one,” you sigh softly.
“What?” she groans and rolls her eyes. “You know I’m right.”
“And that makes it better?” you chuckle, and she huffs softly. “Fine, fine, I’ll go apologize…but would you?”
“I don’t know,” you sigh softly. “I’d feel like I’m intruding,” you argue gently.
“Never,” she shakes her head firmly. “Also, you’re here every day anyway, so nothing changes,” she grins before sighing softly. “Dad?” she shouts, and you roll your eyes at her.
Should you? Move in with your best friend and her heartbroken, conveniently handsome adoptive father? That could only go wrong, right?
You join them on the balcony and sigh softly, meeting your best friend’s eyes. “Fine, I’ll do it.”
She shouts in joy and pulls you into a tight hug, hopping excitedly. “You’re the best best friend I could’ve ever wished for!”
“Yeah, yeah,” you chuckle and roll your eyes playfully, catching Felix smirking at the two of you.
Three weeks later
You hum to yourself as you make your way from the kitchen to the living room area. Your best friend is staying the night at her boyfriend’s, and Felix is out on Stray Kids duty, as you jokingly call it. So, for now, you have the whole house to yourself. You moved in fully about two weeks ago, and your new room is bigger than you ever dared to imagine. There’s an attached bathroom as well, and your few things look ridiculous, trying to fill up all that space you have now.
You grab your phone and check your messages before scrolling through some news. Refreshing the page, a new article appears on top, and you realize it’s about Felix. Curiously, you click on it, and your eyes widen, realizing it’s about what happened with his wife. You read through it and smile sadly; Felix seems to have tried putting it as respectfully and vague as he could. You don’t support what that woman did for years one bit, but you also know how their fans can get so you’re glad Felix tries to stay neutral in public.
You glance up from your phone as the front door opens downstairs, and Felix comes up the stairs only a little later. Looking at him, you can tell he was crying, and your heart sinks to your stomach, seeing how tired he looks. His eyes meet yours, and you swallow softly as he stops in his tracks as if he just remembered you live here as well. “You’re okay?” you ask softly, and for the first time in weeks, Felix shakes his head.
“Not really, no,” he admits, his voice a little raspy. You can tell he’s fighting back tears, and you gently pat the spot next to you on the sofa. Felix momentarily searches your eyes before moving forward and dropping down on the sofa next to you. “I know it’s my own fault because I took off my wedding ring but I didn’t expect them to ask already,” he tells you quietly and nervously fidgets with his hands. “Chan told me to be honest before she comes up with something that’ll drag me down.”
“I think you’ve handled it quite well,” you tell him gently, and he groans in response.
“Already online, huh?” he sighs, and you hum softly. Felix throws his head back against the sofa and stares up at the ceiling. You can’t help but take in his side profile and let your eyes wander down his neck. “I hate this.”
“Hate what?” you ask gently.
“I have to have an explanation for everything as if I’d know why she cheated. Maybe it’s because I’ve been gone often with all our schedules. Maybe she got bored. Maybe she just saw past that facade of fame and sunshine behavior and realized I’m not as lovable as everyone thinks I am,” he huffs, making you frown at him. “Maybe she never loved me in the first place, and I can’t even blame her for that.”
“Stop it now,” you scold him firmly and Felix turns his head, blinking at you. “Have you ever considered that maybe she’s just a massive bitch and there is absolutely nothing wrong with you?”
“Not really, no,” he shakes his head and sits up straight again. “That’s rather unlikely, isn’t it? There’s always a reason people cheat.”
“Sometimes it’s simply stupidity,” you insist. “Not everything is your fault, Felix.”
“Why does it feel like it then?” he asks quietly, and your heart breaks at the desperate glint in his eyes. “Why does it feel like I’m the one who fucked it all up? And why doesn’t she care one bit, and I’m here feeling like complete shit?”
“Because you loved her,” you say quietly and watch his face fall. “She didn’t try to make it right, did she? She didn’t protest when you suggested a divorce.” Felix shakes his head, eyes brimming with tears. “Maybe you’re right. Maybe she never loved you for who you truly are. Maybe all she saw was the fame, the money, the places you went to…but how is that your fault?”
“I…I should’ve known,” he says quietly, his lower lip quivering a little.
“You can’t know that shit if they’re good at hiding and pretending. Who knows how long she could’ve kept up that show if you hadn’t come home early that day?” you ask, and Felix avoids your observant gaze, staring down at his hands. “The only thing you’re at fault for is beating yourself up for this and thinking you’re worthless.”
Felix remains quiet and presses his lips together tightly as hot tears run down his cheeks. His hair falls into his face as his head hangs low, and you can only tell as he sniffles softly. You hesitantly reach out for him and rub his back soothingly. Felix whispers an apology and buries his face in his hands, a quiet sob rippling through his body. You don’t know where you get the confidence from, but you move before you can reconsider what you’re about to do. Wrapping your arm around him, you pull him into a warm embrace and gently rub his shoulder. Felix tenses up briefly before he relaxes into your touch, allowing himself the comfort you spend.
It doesn’t last for all too long, and Felix pushes himself off the sofa, messily wiping his cheeks. “Sorry, I shouldn’t-,” he stammers and exhales shakily. “I shouldn’t dump this all on you.”
“I don’t-” you start and shut your mouth as he raises his hand to stop you.
“I know you don’t mind. I know,” he says and shakily wipes his cheek. “That doesn’t make it any better. I appreciate you trying to help, but I’ll go before I start unloading even more nonsense,” he sniffles and flashes you a sad smile. “Thank you, though.”
“You’re welcome,” you nod gently and watch him leave. Only then do you notice your heart racing in your chest and the wet patch of his tears in your sweater. “So much to keeping boundaries, Y/n,” you scold yourself, rubbing your face tiredly.
Felix closes the door to his room and buries his face in his hands with a soft groan. “What the fuck are you doing?” he whispers and stands still for a moment. What is he doing, sobbing in his daughter’s best friend’s arms? Is he going insane? Felix closes his eyes and tries to forget how comfortable your hug felt, how good you smelled, and how soothing your presence was to him. “Fuck,” he whispers into the emptiness of his room.
One week later
Your heart thumps loudly in your chest as you walk down the hallway, clutching your visitor pass. Your best friend asked you to pick up Felix from work tonight because she had to work late and would then stay at her boyfriend's again. Would he think weirdly of you for it? He's been avoiding you a little after that emotional breakdown a week ago, and you can't blame him.
You reach Chan's studio and knock gently, letting yourself in.
“Oh, Y/nnie,” Chan greets you cheerfully.
“Haven't seen you here in a while,” Minho adds curiously.
“Yeah, uh, I have to pick up Felix,” you say, and they frown.
“I thought-”
“No, she's working late and staying at her boyfriend's or something like that,” you shrug your shoulders.
“She asks you to move in so she isn't lonely and leaves all the time,” Minho shakes his head, amused. “Well, at least someone's keeping an eye on Lix, then.”
“Mhm, yeah,” you nod. “Where is he?”
“In the practice room down the hallway. Uh…he's in a shit mood today,” Minho tells you.
“Define shit mood,” you chuckle.
“Everything is shit, nothing works, he's useless,” Chan sighs softly and shakes his head. “We tried.”
You sigh heavily and roll your eyes. “Fine, I'll do my best.”
“Good luck,” Chan giggles.
Only a little later, you open the door to the practice room and slip inside. You frown as you spot Felix stretched out on the floor, staring up at the ceiling. “I swear, Channie, if you're here to tell me another bad joke that's supposed to make me laugh, I'll snap,” he announces.
You stop next to him and tilt your head at him. “Not Channie,” you say. “What's that supposed to be?” you ask, vaguely waving at his current position.
“It's my new favorite yoga position called utter depression,” he says dryly and throws you a peace sign. “That's I'm a failure, what's your name?”
“Chan wasn't lying,” you nod slowly.
“Did Chan call you? Seriously?” he asks, sitting up on his elbows.
“No. In fact, it was your lovely daughter asking me to come pick you up. She's working late, and then she'll stay over at her boyfriend's.”
“I still can't believe she asked you to move in so she wouldn't be lonely, and now she's barely home,” Felix snorts and groans softly.
“Mhm, you guys are repeating yourselves, Min said the same thing,” you tell him and gently poke his side with your shoe. “What's going on, Mr. utter depression?”
“Nothing, as you can see,” he sighs. “I fucked up during practice today. Minho only didn't call me out for all the mistakes because he felt sorry for me at the time,” he tells you.
“And that led you down the good old road to self-hatred?” you ask, sitting down on the floor next to him.
“Maybe,” he answers vaguely.
“Surely,” you correct him. “Lix?” you ask gently, and he turns his head toward you. “Have you eaten yet?”
“No,” he shakes his head as his eyes trace your features.
“We could take a walk and grab some food on the way. We don't have to talk or anything. It's just for you to clear your head and empty all that garbage you keep up there,” you tell him, tugging a small smile at the corner of his lips.
“Yeah, okay,” he nods.
You exchange your goodbyes with Min and Chan, who secretly throw some hearts your way when Felix isn't looking. Idiots.
-
After that evening, it all got easier again. You didn't talk much that day, but the fresh air, bright lights, and warm food had lightened Felix's mood immensely. Over the following two weeks, you two grew closer, and Felix allowed himself to be more open. With your best friend gone quite frequently, it was often only you and him.
The more time you spent together, the more you realized how ridiculously perfect Felix was. His beautiful brown eyes, soft features adorned by all those sweet freckles, and blond hair falling around his face made your stomach flip. His sweet smile and even prettier laugh made you feel like winning a trophy every time you were the reason for it. He's so kind and polite that it makes your head spin.
Felix can't quite stop himself from looking at you whenever you don't notice. The more time you spend, the more he notices how beautiful you are. How caring and gentle. Your smile brightens his days and he can't fully shake the longing to be in your arms again off. He hasn't felt as comfortable around someone in a while, and there's a lingering worry in the back of his head telling him that he really shouldn't allow himself to fall for you. It only gets worse watching you doing the most mundane things and wishing that you wouldn't leave again.
-
Another two weeks later your best friend announces she'll be abroad for a holiday with her boyfriend for two weeks. Two weeks. It'll only be Felix and you for fourteen days. That thought wasn't helping your anxious heart, trying not to fall for him at all.
You decided to make the best out of it and forget about your worries. Seeing Felix smile again was all that counted.
The first morning, Felix tiredly strolls down the hallway from his room and stops in his tracks when he sees you at the stove. A sweet scent lingers in the kitchen, and he realizes you're making pancakes for breakfast. His heart picks up pace, and he takes a deep breath, reminding himself to act normal. “Morning,” he says, not knowing that his even deeper morning voice sends shivers down your spine.
“Good morning,” you smile at him, bright as ever. He has to look somewhere else to stop himself from blushing. “Breakfast will be ready in a few minutes,” you tell him, and he hums softly.
Felix sits down at the kitchen island and watches you thoughtfully. It's ridiculous how used to your presence he got over the past few weeks. Almost as if he couldn't imagine it any other way anymore. “Do you have any plans for today?” he asks and you shake your head as you put the pancakes on a big plate.
“Why?” you ask curiously and turn off the stove.
“Uh, I was thinking about painting her room since she wanted a new color so badly…I was wondering if you'd like to help?” he asks nervously.
You put down the plate and nod. “Sure, why not?”
Felix flashes you a sweet smile and thanks you as you hand him a plate with some pancakes. They're so fluffy they almost melt on his tongue, and he has trouble biting back a moan. “Oh, they're amazing,” he tells you and notices the subtle blush settling on your cheeks.
“Thank you,” you smile almost shyly.
Seriously, can't you give him a break?
-
After breakfast, Felix takes a quick shower, and you put on some clothes that could be ruined by the paint. You meet again in your best friend's room, and you smile at how soft Felix looks in a pair of gray sweatpants and a wide sweater. You pull all the furniture away from the walls, covering everything up before Felix shows you how to apply the paint properly. In the beginning, you're both quietly working and it feels peaceful, just focusing on painting for now. Then Felix starts talking, trying to kill the silence. “I signed the divorce papers yesterday,” he says casually, and you need a moment to figure out how to answer.
“Congratulations?” you chuckle, and he laughs, realizing how out of pocket this has been.
“Sorry, that was pretty random,” he apologizes.
“No, it's fine. I'm glad you did,” you say, and he glances at you, making you ramble on quickly. “I mean, it's the right thing to do. Did you settle on anything? Does she demand stuff?”
“If she doesn't want my legal team to be less nice about the reason we're getting a divorce than I was, then she won't,” he tells you and sighs softly. “She has the old house, and I don't have to pay her anything. I'm glad when we're done with the whole process,” he admits tiredly.
“I bet you are,” you nod gently. “You deserve some peace after everything,” you say, and he hums softly, pressing his lips together briefly. “We can stop talking about it,” you assure him gently, and Felix nods thankfully.
“We need more paint,” he states.
“Well, we should let this dry anyway for today,” you nod and flash him a gentle smile. “We could go buy some more and then call it a day?”
“Sounds good,” he nods, rubbing his face tiredly, and turns toward you fully now.
“You've got some paint on your cheek,” you say, and he blindly reaches out to wipe it off. He doesn't quite get it and you step in front of him, reaching out for him. “Let me help,” you say and gently rub your thumb over his cheek, wiping the still fresh paint off.
Felix freezes in place, staring at you as you do so. He feels like the world stops for a moment but then your soft touch is already gone again. He exhales a breath he didn't know he was holding in and follows you outside. Fucks sake.
-
You wander through the store next to him and you end up buying some more stuff to decorate the house a little more. Felix's phone rings and you can tell it's Chan by the way his face lights up. He nudges your side after a moment. “You're hungry?”
“I could eat,” you nod.
“Min and Chan ask if we wanna stop by,” he tells you, and you shrug your shoulders.
“Sure, why not?”
Only shortly after, you reach their house, and your eyes widen, spotting the two small kittens on the carpet. “Oh, you have new ones?” you ask excitedly and Minho looks at you as if he's going to hit you.
“Or not?” you ask, chuckling.
Chan gently pokes his cheek and grins at you. “Yeah, we got them like a week ago,” he nods, and you crouch down as they make their way over.
“Can I hold them?” you ask, looking at Minho, and his face softens.
“If they let you,” he nods and tells you to sit down on the floor.
He picks up the first one and gently hands it over to you, making sure you hold it right. “He's usually very calm, so if you don't move too quickly, you should be fine,” he tells you and sits down, grabbing the second one. “She's a little rascal,” he smirks and gently scratches her head.
“They're so tiny,” you say, amazed.
“Here, he loves those,” Chan says, handing you a little treat.
You hold out your hand for the kitten, and he doesn't waste much time. You giggle at his tiny tongue licking over your palm and beam at Minho excitedly. Chan passes Minho and gently runs his hand through his hair mindlessly. Minho smiles softly and looks up at him so full of love you can't help but wish you'd find someone you shared the same type of deep love with. “Wanna help me set the table, Lix?” he asks, and Felix hums, following him, not after a quick glance in your direction to make sure you're alright.
Soon after, you're all gathered around the table, and you all thank Minho for cooking. Chan glances at Felix after a while and seems to debate whether he should ask what's going through his head. “Lix?” he asks, and his friend turns toward him. “How are you holding up?”
“I'm fine,” he smiles tiredly, and you know the question starts to bother him by now.
“You said that from day one,” Minho chuckles and tilts his head at him.
“No, I am. I signed the papers yesterday and then soon it'll all be over,” he explains.
“Have you met anyone new?” Minho asks curiously. “I mean, it's been almost two months.”
“Mhm, after ten years of a fake marriage. I still have time, don't you think?” he asks sourly.
Chan steps in, trying to ease the mood. “We're just worried about you getting lonely, Lix,” he tells him.
“I'd rather be lonely than that,” he says and rolls his eyes at them. “Not everyone finds the one and lives happily ever after from day one on,” he says, looking at the two of them.
“That's hardly realistic, nothing was perfect from day one,” Minho shakes his head.
“Not really, no,” Chan snorts and winks at him.
“Well, you're not me, so…,” Felix says quietly, and the mood changes.
“Meaning?” Minho asks patiently, even though you can tell he’d rather punch some sense into him.
Felix puts down his chopsticks and sighs heavily. “I'm way too emotional, I'm too shy to approach anyone or initiate anything further, I mess up stuff constantly and-.”
“Will you stop?” you cut him off, and everyone looks at you as if they're remembering you're still here. “You keep on talking shit about yourself, and you don't even realize you're letting her win.”
“I'm not letting her—” he frowns. Chan is about to speak up, but Minho stops him, resting his hand on his.
“Yes, you are. She used you for years, and you're still letting her by making it all your fault. As if she had no other choice but to go off and fuck around with whoever she found moderately fuckable,” you say, and he blinks at you, stunned as Chan chokes on his breath. “You're talented at what you do, you're hardworking, and you're one of the most caring people I know. You didn't have to, but you always made me feel at home when I visited your daughter. You haven't done any differently since I moved in, and as long as you aren't talking shit about yourself, you're pretty funny. And-.”
“Y/nnie,” he says softly, and it's the first time he's called you that. “Eat up; it's going to get cold.”
You quickly shut your mouth, ears burning up as you realize you've just been pretty open in front of Minho and Chan. “Yeah, okay, you better shut up then…respectfully.”
“Message received,” he smiles gently.
Minho raises his eyebrows and glances at Chan before moving his eyes between the two of you. Chan frowns before his eyes widen, and he squints at him. Minho widens his eyes and puts on a little passive aggressively encouraging smile, signaling him that, yes, he is VERY right about this.
“You can stop the eye fuckery over there, I'll get sick,” Felix calls them out, and you frown softly at Minho's mischievous grin.
“Y/n, what about you?” Minho asks curiously.
“You're playing cupid as a side business, or what is this?” you ask right back.
“Simply interested,” he gives back.
“I'm single if you must know so badly, and no, my self-esteem isn't drowning as much as Lix’s,” you say, and Felix pokes your side, protesting softly.
Chan watches you quietly before glancing at his husband and humming softly. Minho simply smirks.
Later, when it's time to leave, you hold your hand out for Felix, and he tilts his head at you questioningly. “Keys, please,” you smile.
“Huh?” he asks, amused.
“You had two drinks, I didn't have any, and I'm driving,” you tell him, stretching your hand out once more.
“Listen to her, Yongbokie,” Minho tells him, and Felix gives in and hands you the keys.
-
“That was really sweet,” Felix says, almost too quiet to hear.
“The kittens?” you giggle.
“Mhm, yeah, they too,” he nods and glances over at you. “I meant what you said…I uh... thanks.”
“Oh,” you nod and feel your heart warming at the softness in his eyes. “I meant it.”
“I know,” he whispers and can barely meet your eyes.
“You should give yourself more credit. Try seeing yourself through the eyes of the people you mean something to from time to time,” you say, parking the car in front of the house.
Felix looks at you, a little stunned. “I mean something to you?” he asks softly.
“Well, of course you do, Lixie,” you smile and lean over, brushing his hair back for him.
“Yeah?” he asks, eyes traveling down to your lips before he can fight it.
“Mhm,” you hum softly and search his eyes. Suddenly, you move forward and your lips meet in a soft kiss that has him melting in his seat. He reaches up to bury his hand into your hair and-.
“Felix? Felix, wake up,” you say gently.
“Huh?” he asks confused.
“Wake up, Lix, come on,” you say softly, daring to brush a loose strand from his face. “Come on, let's get you upstairs.”
Felix blinks at you drowsily and needs a moment to realize he's been dreaming—dreaming of kissing you. His face burns up red with embarrassment as your gentle eyes meet his, and he shoots out of his seat. “Yeah, sorry,” he stammers, and you watch him a little confused.
“You're okay?” you ask, closing the door for him.
“Sure, why wouldn't I be?” he asks, laughing nervously. Don't look at the lips. Don't.
“Man, you're weird when you get woken up,” you shake your head and unlock the front door, letting him in. Felix stumbles taking off his shoes, making you laugh. “Is alcohol having such an effect on you?”
“Mhm, yeah,” he lies, spotting his lifeline.
“Well, let's get you to bed then,” you say and gently pat his back, shoving him inside.
“I'll make it on my own, thank you,” he quickly says and wishes you a good night. He throws himself face forward onto his bed and groans into his blanket. “Fuck, no, Lix, you can't.” He turns onto his back and stares up at the ceiling, brushing his fingers over his lips. Groaning softly, he fumbles for his phone; he needs some clarity now.
“It's late, what the fuck, mate?”
“Jisungie, I fucked up,” Felix whines softly.
“Oh, please don't tell me you're drunk,” Jisung sighs softly. “Do I have to pick you up somewhere?”
“No,” he quickly assures him. “I just…there's this certain someone I can't stop thinking about, and…Ji, it's wrong!”
“I don't like the sound of this,” he states calmly. “Go on.”
And Felix does, spilling all his hurt, feelings of emptiness, and worthlessness. Telling him how you mend his heart, fill his entire being with happiness, and make him feel loveable. He confesses how he can't stop thinking about you, worrying how messed up this could get.
Jisung lets him ramble on and nods gently once he's done. “That's fucked up, mate.”
“I know,” he whispers.
“No, I don't think you know how bad that bitch fucked you up,” Jisung says, and Felix is too stunned to speak for a second. “Fucks sake, Lix! Where's my pretty boy getting all the girls, huh? When did you get all shy and scared? Did she fuck up your self-esteem that badly?”
“Ji, you're missing the point here,” he insists. “Everyone would think I'm using her, she's eight years younger. They'll make her a victim and-.”
“Lix,” he cuts him off firmly. “I'm that victim you're describing here, you do know that, right? My hubby is ten years older, Hyune’s wife is six years younger, and no one gives a fuck,” he tells him. “The thing you really can't take is the fact that she's your daughter's best friend.”
“That surely doesn't help,” he groans.
“Well, technically-.”
“She's my daughter, you can try and twist this how you want,” he shakes his head. “And she'll hate me if I act upon my feelings for Y/n.”
“All she wanted was for you to be happy. Why not with Y/nnie?” he asks gently. “Listen, buddy, you gotta figure out what you really want and then act accordingly. Stop sending her signals if you don't want this to evolve into something more.”
“I know,” he sighs softly. Fuck.
-
“Can you get the eggs?” you ask him as you pour some sugar into a bowl, weighing its content as you do.
“Sure,” Felix nods and his hand rests on your lower back for a brief moment, notifying you of him standing behind you to stop you from bumping into him.
You swallow softly at the lingering touch, and it's already gone again before you can't think much of it. Felix got home from the studio about an hour ago, and you two decided to surprise your best friend with a cake for her birthday tomorrow. At least she had planned to come back again for it. After quickly buying the ingredients, you two got busy in the kitchen. He's unusually clumsy, your hands brushed against each other four times already since you've started and you already bumped heads, both wanting to grab something off the floor he dropped. The brief touches and his soft eyes combined with that shy smile are slowly driving you insane.
Once you're all done you put it in the oven and set a timer, cleaning up the kitchen for now. You'll still need a few things for the icing later but you get rid of most of the mess for now. After loading the dishwasher, the 25 minutes are over, and Felix carefully takes it out. You leave it there to cool and throw yourself on the sofa.
Felix joins you and turns on the TV, putting on the next episode of the series you've recently started watching together. After a while, your head slowly drops onto his shoulder and it takes him a moment to realize you fell asleep. He cautiously wraps his arm around you to make you more comfortable and lets you rest against his chest. He tries not to think too much of it and chews on his lower lip nervously as he tries to pay attention to the screen.
As much as he tries to fight it, he's exhausted from their intense practice today, and his eyes grow heavier with every minute. It doesn't take long and he falls asleep as well, getting more comfortable and dragging you down with him in his sleep.
You wake up in his arms, your head resting on his chest. Your eyes widen in shock, and you fight the urge to jump up and get as far away from him as possible. You barely dare to lift your head. Glancing down at him, your heart skips a beat at how soft and vulnerable he looks in his sleep. His chest is slowly rising and falling, his hair hangs into his face and he looks so soft it makes you want to squish his cheeks. You admire the beautiful freckles painting his face as the fading sun caresses his golden skin. Gosh, he's pretty.
He moves in his sleep, tightening his grip around you and rolling you both onto your sides. Burying his face in your neck, he lets out a content sigh and pulls you in close. You bite your lip and curse yourself for wanting this so badly. You should really wake him up…but you couldn't. Not when he had a long day and finally got some rest. Not when he looked this content and peaceful. You couldn't.
You timidly rest your chin on his fluffy hair and wait for a moment, but he doesn't seem to mind. Carefully, you fondle his back and rest your hand between his shoulder blades. He doesn't stir one bit, and you decide to try sleeping some more as well.
-
You wake up again when he stretches in your arms, pulling back with a soft groan. Felix squints at you drowsily before he slowly picks up on your current situation. A blush creeps up his neck and colors his cheeks and ears. He pulls away and rolls onto his back with a soft sound, rubbing his face tiredly. “Sorry,” he mumbles.
“For what?” you ask gently.
“Uh…this,” he awkwardly gestures between the two of you. “I uh…I tend to get cuddly when I fall asleep. I didn't want to make you uncomfortable or-.”
“You didn't,” you say firmly, and he slowly glances at you.
“No?” he asks quietly.
“Not at all,” you assure him, and he hums gently in response. “You seemed like you needed it, so I let you sleep a little longer.”
“Oh,” he nods dumbly and searches your eyes timidly. “Okay.”
“Yeah,” you nod and smile at him. “I think we can finish the cake by now.”
“Probably,” he laughs and sits up.
The pair of you soon gets busy in the kitchen again and Felix turns on the mixer to finish the icing for the cake. It's a little too fast, and some of it lands on his sweater. “Fucks sake,” he curses softly before slowing it down.
You laugh at him, and he turns to you, raising his eyebrows. “Oh, you got some on your face,” you giggle and step in front of him. You cup his face gently with one hand, rubbing your other thumb across the icing on his forehead. “Keep still, Lixie,” you say and don't quite notice his lips parting at the new nickname. You move further down, wiping the bits on his cheek off, and only then you meet his eyes. They're wide and filled with thousands of questions and insecurities. “You're okay?” you ask worriedly.
Felix blinks at you before very slowly shaking his head. “I'm not okay,” he says, and you turn off the mixer, bathing the room in silence.
“What's wrong?” you ask and want to pull your hand off his face, but his hand wraps around your wrist keeping you there.
“I…,” he trails off, sinking deeper into your eyes, and you can see the sudden longing in them. It's pure and innocent, making you all dizzy the longer you look at him. “You're driving me nuts,” he confesses.
“Breathe,” you tell him before experimentally brushing your thumb over his lips. He exhales shuddery, eyes fluttering close at your touch. “Can I kiss you?” you ask.
“What?” he squeaks, eyes snapping back open.
“You heard me,” you say and tilt your head at him. “Can I?” Felix gulps before nodding timidly. You close the distance between the two of you, and your lips brush against his. A soft, quiet sound escapes him and then you're cupping his face and kissing him. Felix melts into the kiss, body searching yours as he grips your waist and stumbles a little, shoving you against the kitchen counter. He pulls back only to catch his breath and presses his forehead against yours. “You're okay?” you ask again. This time, he nods.
“Yeah,” he whispers with a soft smile. “I'm okay...”

pranking the husband (l.y.f)
okay, so i saw this tik tok today and instantly had an idea for my baby, felix 🫢 this is fucking adorable. i love it, i hope you love it 🩷
feedback is greatly appreciated 🥰
~
You keep giggling to yourself while in the bathroom, and you're surprised Felix hasn't come to ask you what's so funny. You glance over your shoulder, a smile on your lips as you watch your husband scroll through his tik tok.
“Cutie,” you mumble to yourself, making a mental note to kiss him after you finish the tik tok you're about to make.
While scrolling through your for you page this morning, you found a trend that you wanted to try on Felix. You're typically not one to make tik toks, but you don't actually post any of them, but this one makes you want to see how he'd react.
You stealthily put up your phone, checking to see if both of you are in it before hitting record. You fluff your hair and check yourself out in the mirror.
“Babe, how much longer do we have?” You ask him, knowing you need to leave in twenty minutes.
Felix doesn't look up from his phone, answering your question. “Twenty minutes. Are you ready?”
“No, not yet,” you sigh and rest your hands on your hips. “I'm not sure I really like the outfit I'm wearing.”
Your husband lifts his head, his eyes roaming down your body. “You don't? I think you look really good, sweetness,” he smiles at you, seeing the love in his honey-brown eyes.
“God, I love you,” you smile at him, blowing him an air kiss. “But, I think I'm going to change. There's another outfit I've been dying to wear.”
Felix pouts but gives in, nodding his head. “If it'll make you happy, go ahead,” he mentions, puckering his lips for a kiss.
You melt at his cuteness, feeling your heart fluttering in your chest. You reach where he's sitting before planting a kiss on his lips. You giggle softly and pull away before he can deepen it.
“Okay, can you get out real quick so I can change?” You ask him nonchalantly, taking a step back.
Felix nods his head, closing the apps on his phone as he stands up. Your jaw drops a bit as he just strolls out of the room. You glance towards your phone when his voice echoes into the bedroom.
“Wait!” He rushes back in, his brows furrowed in confusion. “Why am I leaving the room? You got changed in front of me earlier.”
You bite your lip, deciding to keep playing along. “Well, I wanted the outfit to be a surprise,” you tell him while leaning against the bathroom door frame.
He narrows his eyes at you before walking closer to you. You go back into the bathroom, holding your hand out in case he tries to tickle you. He's sneaky like that.
Felix finds your phone propped up and points a figure at you. “You sneaky! You're doing a bit,” he figures it out, laughing cutely.
You giggle as his arms wrap around your waist. You hug him tightly, both of you swaying in your shared bathroom. “I saw it on tik tok,” you tell him, combing your fingers through his hair.
“I can not believe you almost got me,” he laughs, pulling back. His gaze meets yours, and Felix smiles softly before kissing you again.
“I love you, my baby,” you grin, planting short kisses on his lips and cheeks. “Plus, you should know that I prefer to strip in front of you.”
Felix's smile turns into a smirk, one of his hands finding a place on your waist. “You love my eyes on you,” he impossibly moves in closer, his chest pressing against yours.
“Baby,” you sigh, tilting your head back when he starts kissing your neck. “We're gonna miss our reservation.”
“What if,” Felix trails off, placing a chaste kiss on your lips, “we canceled.”
You pout at him while grabbing a hold of one of his hands. “But, baby, we've already had to cancel on them once. I don't want to do it again. Chan was telling me how excited he is for tonight. And, two, I got all pretty for you. Don't you want to show me off?”
“You do look pretty,” Felix sighs, taking in the outfit you've “decided” to keep on. “And, I love showing you off. Can I eat you out when we get home?”
You throb at his question, squeezing his hand you're holding. “I can never say no to you,” you chuckle breathlessly, leading your husband towards the front door.

yani's note ˖˙ ᰋ very late lixie day post. so occupied with assigments and life.. ㅠㅠ.. gonna cry, he's so sunshine :(( comments, likes and reblogs are always appreciated ! happy late lixie day and happy reading <3
the café had always been a hidden gem—tucked between two towering bookshops and half-covered in ivy that gave it a quiet magic.
and it was here, in this little coffee haven, that two lives started to intertwine in unexpected ways.
y/n had been coming here regularly for weeks now, sliding in most mornings with a soft 'hi' and a slight smile. it was warm but polite, like she didn’t want to disrupt the calm that filled the place.
she’d always order the same thing—a mocha latte with extra foam—and settle into her favorite spot by the window. her table was something of a fortress, surrounded by stacks of books and scattered papers.
she spent hours there, immersed in her work, her gaze often drifting out the window to the trees swaying lazily in the breeze.
but lately, her eyes had been wandering elsewhere.
to the counter, to be exact. or, rather, to someone behind the counter.
felix.
the name tag on his forest green apron spelled it out clearly, though it wasn’t hard to remember. he was the type of person you didn’t easily forget.
with sandy blonde hair spilling out from beneath a slightly-too-big beige beanie and eyes that sparkled with some endless, secretive mischief, he looked like he belonged here—like he was part of the café’s unique charm. his presence was as warm as the lights strung along the walls, like a permanent fixture of the place.
felix had noticed her right away.
to be fair, he noticed everyone, quick with a smile, always ready with a friendly quip, a social butterfly in every sense. but there was something different about this regular—this girl who ordered her mocha latte each morning and tucked herself away by the window.
she seemed like one of those people you saw every day but somehow never really knew. the kind of person you wanted to ask about the story they carried, about what hid behind the small, quiet smile she kept just for herself.
it started out simple enough—a quick glance here, a little smile there, a few “good morning” greetings exchanged over the counter.
the blonde's friends and coworkers had noticed too, occasionally catching him gazing just a beat too long in her direction. they’d nudge him, teasing, and he’d brush it off with a shrug and a grin.
he’d tell himself it was nothing, just a curiosity. but each time she walked in, he found himself a little more drawn in, the pull stronger than he’d ever expected.
~
the first time they really spoke beyond a “hi” and “thank you” was an accident.
one gray afternoon, as she tucked a strand of hair behind her ear, y/n realized she’d forgotten her prized notebook at home.
she frowned, mildly irritated; she’d planned to spend a few hours working.
felix, who was wiping down tables near her spot, couldn’t help but notice her furrowed brows, cute, he thought.
“you okay there?” he asked, his voice low but friendly, like he was speaking in the library.
she glanced up, surprised.
“oh—uh, yeah. i just… forgot my notebook,” she admitted with a sheepish smile.
he grinned, tucking the cloth he was holding into his apron pocket. “a writer, hm? or a student?”
“both,” she laughed shyly, her cheeks warming as he leaned in just a bit, his eyes meeting hers. “i’m working on a research paper. and i think i left half my sanity in that notebook.”
felix laughed, the sound warm and easy, and it made her smile widen a bit. “research paper? let me guess. something thrilling, like organic chemistry or macroeconomics?”
“close,” she teased. “it’s actually an analysis of cultural symbolism in modern art. you know… riveting stuff.”
“oh, sounds very serious,” he replied, leaning on the back of the chair across from her. “but i think it’d be more riveting if you had some caffeine to go with it. on the house, maybe?”
“oh no, i couldn’t—”
“hey,” he raised a hand, “i insist. for the arts.” his eyes held hers, exaggerating his words with hand actions, a spark of playful sincerity in the gaze.
and so, for the first time, she watched felix bring her a mocha latte from across the counter, carefully placing it in front of her with a grin that seemed almost too charming for a place as quiet as this café.
after that day, things shifted—just slightly, but noticeably.
there were more smiles, more exchanges. she would glance up from her work sometimes, finding the blonde already looking her way, and he’d offer her a quick wink before going back to wiping down tables or taking someone else’s order.
she found herself smiling more than usual, her gaze following him whenever he moved around the café.
one chilly morning, she came in a little later than usual, wrapped up in a thick scarf and shivering slightly from the cool snowy weather outside. her brown hair, partially were sprinkled with sugar-like snowflakes, as she quickly closed the wooden-glass door behind her.
the guy, who’d been leaning against the counter waiting for her, broke into a grin as soon as he saw her.
“oh, a little cold, are we?”
she laughed, cheeks heating as soon as she heard his deep voice. “well, hello to you too, felix.”
he chuckled, unbothered. “sooo, should i take a wild guess at what you’re ordering today?”
“oh, you’re psychic now, too?” she shot back, feigning surprise, raising an eyebrow.
he gasped in mock shock. “you got me. how’d you know?” he tapped his forehead, giving her a mock-serious look. “it’s all in here.”
she laughed, like she always would, watching as he went to make her drink, still playfully speaking as he worked. and as he slid the mocha across the counter toward her, he gave her a look so warm, so familiar, that for a moment, she forgot they were strangers at all.
“you know,” he began, leaning against the counter with a thoughtful expression, “i think i should get to know the mysterious mocha drinker a little better. how else am i supposed to keep nailing your exact order?”
“oh, is that why?” she replied, biting back a smile. “for the sake of the perfect mocha?”
“exactly,” he nodded, eyes twinkling. “only for quality control, of course.”
the two fell into a soft rhythm, like an unspoken dance, each of them taking turns to ask and answer questions, uncovering little pieces of each other’s lives with every passing moment. felix learned she was studying anthropology, that she had a younger brother who’d recently started university, that her favorite book was norwegian wood by haruki murakami.
she learned he was majoring in design, that he loved baking as much as he loved making coffee, and that he could spend hours watching old animated films without getting bored.
just the perfect match, as someone would say.
eventually, the café became more than just a place for her to work; it became a place for her to find something that felt strangely like home.
and felix, the friendly barista with the smile that lit up the whole town, was slowly becoming a part of her morning ritual, someone who made her look forward to the quiet hours by the window just a little bit more.
the next morning, she noticed a little sketch on her coffee cup, a tiny doodle of a smiling sun with the words, 'good luck today!' written underneath.
she looked up, catching felix’s eye, and he smiled, giving her a casual little shrug.
“thought you could use a little good luck,” he explained, a faint blush dusting his cheeks. "you know, for the research presentation today."
"you remembered?" she felt her heart skip, surprised by the unexpected sweetness of the gesture. “thank you… really.”
felix gave her a soft smile, one that lingered with unspoken words. “anytime.”
and she left the café soon, after the moment had made her smile a little wider, a warmth blooming in her chest that she couldn’t quite put into words.
and felix, well… watched her, like he always did.
he had never felt so drawn to someone he barely knew. it was strange, exciting, and a little scary, but he couldn’t help the feeling that he wanted to know her more. a lot more.
the same day, the slightly-warmer noon, was where he found the same girl sitting in her usual spot by the window, deeply engrossed in the notes spread across her table, as he entered the café for his shift.
the soft clinking of mugs and murmuring of the café filled the air, a familiar comfort. seemed like a co-worker of his had served her today, or did he?
her eyes shot up to him entering, seeing the bell ring slightly as he closed the door behind him. he was wearing a puffy black jacket, which was now being discarded and hung onto the stand beside the door, while she stared at his figure.
as he turned around, their gazes met. he smiled, as bright as ever, sending her heart straight to a marathon.
"well, hello again," he greeted, walking towards the counter. "how did your presentation go?"
she smiled, "it actually.. went better than i thought it would. thanks to the latte earlier,"
he nodded, "that's good to hear.. seems like my wishes worked, huh?" a chuckle escaped his lips.
"it sure did," she replied with a smile, interrupted a bit as more customers started to enter the café.
felix had already returned behind the counter, called by his co-worker, seungmin.
"you're finally here, oh god," the brunet nudged felix, handing him the tray of the specific order, freshly brewed.
"i thought i would have to end up serving your little love interest her usual, thanks for being late, yeah?" he shot a glare his way, quickly pushing the dumbfounded guy, slightly to leave the kitchen.
"wait up, how long did you keep her waiti-" the elder opened his mouth to protest, only to be greeted by the soft push.
"just go serve her already, will you!"
meanwhile, today, y/n wasn’t as absorbed in her work as she seemed. she’d lift her gaze, watching felix out of the corner of her eye as he moved towards the counter, hoping he’d glance her way.
and soon enough, he did.
felix caught her looking, his lips curling into a little smirk as he walked over. “what, am i that distracting?” he teased, setting her mocha latte down with a flourish. he seemed unusually fidgety, fingers tapping against the cup as if he were holding something back.
y/n laughed, feigning a deep, thoughtful expression. “maybe. you do have a way of stealing the spotlight.”
he snorted, folding his arms and leaning against the counter. “or maybe you’re just looking for excuses to stare at me.”
“bold assumption, felix,” she replied, grinning as she took a sip. her heart did a tiny flip when he didn’t deny it, his gaze soft as he watched her with that lingering smile.
"sorry to keep you waiting with the.. latte. my fellow barista," he glanced back towards the kitchen, eyes meeting the said guy who seemed to enjoy the other two's moment through the small window. "..ran into some inconveniences."
the blonde only communicated with seungmin with his eyes, probably motioning his friend to quit being a stalker to the moment.
soon, the two fell into easy conversation, after serving other customers, his fingers still idly tapping on the counter.
finally, after a moment’s hesitation, he looked down, scratching the back of his neck.
“uh, you know,” he began, his voice suddenly quieter. “i was actually wondering if—well, if you’d maybe like to hang out outside this café sometime. like, more than just a customer and a barista thing?”
y/n blinked, caught off guard by the unexpected question. but her heart picked up speed, warmth spreading across her cheeks as she smiled up at him. “like friends?”
“or like..” he shifted his weight, glancing away for a split second before meeting her eyes with a sheepish grin. “friends.. who, you know, maybe like each other a little?”
her heart was practically racing now. she tried to keep her cool, playfully raising an eyebrow at him. “are you asking me out, lee felix?”
he laughed, raising his hands in surrender. “only if you say yes. i mean, i’m not going to force you or anything. but, i think, it’d be nice to hang out. just us. away from coffee orders and doodles on cups.”
for a moment, she said nothing, just looked at him with a growing smile that seemed to say more than words could. “okay,” she said, her voice soft but clear. “i’d love that.”
the grin that spread across his face was instant, lighting up his eyes with a joy that made her heart do yet another little flip.
later that evening, around six, the blonde took her to a cozy, lesser-known part of town where string lights draped over cobblestone pathways, casting a soft, golden glow across small street stalls.
they wandered through rows of trinkets and vintage books, the air filled with a slight chill and the smell of freshly made pastries.
“this place is like a dream,” y/n murmured, taking it all in as they strolled side by side. “how did you even find it?”
he chuckled, hands tucked into his jacket pockets. “i have my ways. plus, i figured it’d suit you. quiet, a little hidden, full of character, kind of like our café.”
she nudged him with her shoulder, laughing. “are you implying i’m quiet and hidden?”
he feigned innocence. “hey, you’re the one who sneaks into the café all quiet every morning. and as for hidden…” he paused, looking at her with a slight tilt to his head. “i don’t know. sometimes you just look like you’re lost in your own world. it’s kinda cute, really.”
she felt warmth blossom in her chest, her cheeks flushing as she looked down, smiling to herself. “well, maybe i was just looking for a place to escape,” she said softly, her voice barely above a whisper.
he nodded, his tone playful yet warm. “lucky for you, i’m an expert at escaping the ordinary. follow me.”
they drifted from the stalls and found themselves near a small fountain tucked away from the main bustle of the market, framed by ivy and stone benches.
he gestured for her to sit beside him, and as she did, she noticed him fidgeting slightly, his leg bouncing in place.
“you okay?” she asked, a hint of amusement in her voice.
“me?” he shot her a nervous grin. “yeah, totally fine. just, you know, first time actually hanging out. outside the café, without, like, a counter between us.” he laughed, glancing away.
“i don’t usually get nervous around people, but you’re.. different.”
she bit her lip, trying to suppress the smile threatening to break free. “good different?”
“the best kind of different,” he murmured, his voice suddenly quiet and sincere.
for a moment, they just looked at each other, the air between them charged with a soft intimacy that felt new yet somehow familiar.
he hesitantly reached for her hand, his fingers grazing hers in a touch that felt electric, as if every nerve in her body woke up at the contact. as if he was trying to see if it was okay, and did he even know, it was so much more than okay.
they sat there, their fingers intertwined, warmth blooming from their hands into their chests. he was the first to speak, his voice soft but laced with a smile.
“you know, i always thought you were one of those people who seemed like they’d have their whole life figured out. but then, i got to know you a little, and i realized maybe…you’re just like the rest of us. trying to figure things out, one mocha latte at a time.”
she chuckled, giving his hand a gentle squeeze. “guess you’re not as psychic as you thought. i’m far from having it all figured out.”
“well,” he replied, voice barely above a whisper, “maybe we can figure it out together.”
y/n felt her heart swell, warmth spreading from her chest to her cheeks, as she looked down at their joined hands, smiling softly. “i’d like that.”
they spent the rest of the night walking through the quiet streets, talking about everything and nothing—sharing stories, dreams, memories, and hopes they hadn’t even told their closest friends.
he would lean closer each time she laughed, the sound sending a thrill down his spine that he was sure she could feel.
as they reached the end of the evening, he walked her back to her apartment, the silence between them comfortable yet buzzing with something neither of them could name.
they stopped just outside her building, and he turned to face her, a hesitant smile tugging at his lips. “so.. i had a really nice time tonight.”
“me too,” she whispered, almost breathless, looking up at him as if seeing him in a new light.
they lingered in that moment, their faces close, eyes meeting in a quiet understanding that words couldn’t capture. felix lifted a hand to brush a stray strand of hair from her face, his fingers lingering just a second longer than necessary.
his voice softened, almost a whisper. “i don’t think i’ll ever look at mocha lattes the same way.”
she laughed, biting her lip as she felt her cheeks warm. “guess that makes two of us, cute, blonde, barista guy.”
he chuckled, his gaze softening as he looked at her. “maybe we should try something different next time. something a little stronger.”
she raised an eyebrow. “stronger? like, coffee?”
“yeah, or…” he hesitated, a teasing smile tugging at his lips, “like feelings?”
she blushed, feeling warmth spread through her chest as she held his gaze. “guess i’ll have to try that sometime.”
with a gentle, lingering smile, he gave her hand one last squeeze. “good night, y/n.”
“good night, lix.”
as he walked away, she stood there, watching him disappear into the street, her heart feeling fuller than it had in a long time.
and for once, she couldn’t wait for the next morning.

Last first kiss

Pairings : Bestfriend!Felix x reader
Genre : Best friends to lovers, fluff
Warnings : Kissing
Word count : 503
The soft glow of the moon filtered through the curtains, casting a gentle light on the room where you and Felix sat. It was one of those perfect summer nights, the kind that made you feel like anything was possible. The two of you had been best friends for years, sharing countless laughs, secrets, and dreams. Tonight, however, felt different. There was an unspoken tension in the air, a feeling that something significant was about to happen.
Felix leaned back against the couch, his golden hair falling slightly into his eyes. He looked at you with a softness that made your heart skip a beat. You were both listening to music, a playlist of nostalgic songs from your teenage years. As One Direction's "Last First Kiss" began to play, Felix's eyes seemed to darken with an emotion you couldn't quite place.
"I love this song," you said softly, more to fill the silence than anything else. Felix nodded, his gaze never leaving your face.
"Yeah, it's a good one," he replied, his voice low and almost husky. There was a pause, and then he added, "Do you ever think about what it would be like to have that kind of love? The kind where your first kiss with someone is also your last?"
The question caught you off guard. You had thought about it, of course, but admitting that out loud felt too vulnerable. "Sometimes," you admitted, looking away, feeling a blush creep up your cheeks.
Felix moved closer, his hand reaching out to gently turn your face back toward him. "You know," he began, his thumb lightly tracing your jawline, "I've been thinking about something for a while now."
Your heart was pounding so loudly you were sure he could hear it. "What is it?" you asked, your voice barely a whisper.
His eyes searched yours, and in that moment, it felt like time stood still. "I've been thinking about you," he said simply. "About us. And how much I care about you."
Before you could respond, Felix leaned in, closing the distance between you. His lips brushed against yours softly at first, testing the waters. The kiss was tender and sweet, but it quickly deepened as you both gave in to the feelings you'd been holding back for so long.
When you finally pulled apart, both of you were breathless. Felix's hand cupped your cheek, his eyes filled with love and determination. "I've loved you for so long," he confessed. "I don't want to be just friends anymore. I want us to be together, really together."
Tears of joy welled up in your eyes as you smiled. "I love you too, Felix. I always have."
With that, Felix pulled you into another kiss, this one filled with all the passion and promise of a future together. As the song played on in the background, you knew that this was your last first kiss. The beginning of something beautiful and lasting, with your best friend by your side.

when the walls crumble
lee felix x gn!reader
synopsis/request: felix’s stubbornness leads to a fallout with the person who cares about him most. in the aftermath of their argument, he must confront the consequences of his actions and decide what truly matters.
wc: 1341

For weeks, Felix has been pushing himself harder than usual. He has been working 24/7 with the group, practicing, recording, attending meetings, and putting in long hours of physical activity despite his back pain. The strain was becoming clear to you, despite Felix's attempts to hide it.
His usual happy personality became more subdued, his smile less frequent, and he began holding himself in an uncomfortable way, wincing while standing up or sitting down. You, as someone who loves him, observed the little details: the way he'd touch his lower back after long practices, or how he'd neglect breaks, pushing through the discomfort because he didn't want to slow anyone down. But what hurt you the most was the way he ignored any concerns you had.
He was always the one who looked out for everyone else, so seeing him suffer and refusing to listen to his own body seemed like a betrayal of his own well-being. You worried that if he kept going this way, it might lead to something far worse. But Felix, ever determined, refused to admit it. He had this hidden pride, a desire to prove his own worth even if it meant concealing his sorrow. The night of the argument was just like any other in recent weeks. Felix had gotten home from a late practice, dragging his tired body into the living room, exhausted but unwilling to stop. You had dinner ready, but Felix looked distant and deep in his thoughts. You tried to engage him by asking how his day went, but he just gave tired comments. You tried to ignore it, but something inside you snapped. The worry that had been building up inside of you for so long could no longer be suppressed. "Felix, we need to talk," you said, your voice faltering slightly. Felix looked up, slightly confused but not yet really understanding the gravity of the situation. "About what?" he asked, seemingly distracted rather than concerned.
You took a deep breath and, for the first time, let your concerns out. "I'm really worried about you," you added, speaking faster than you planned. "Your back has been bothering you lately but you keep pushing yourself like it's nothing. It isn't nothing, Felix. You're hurting yourself, and I can't keep watching you do it." Felix quickly reacted. His natural instinct was to shut down and conceal his sensitivity. "I'm okay alright? There is no need to worry. You're overreacting," he said, his voice defensive.
But it wasn’t enough. The words you had been holding in for days burst out. “No, it’s not nothing! Felix, you're in pain, and you keep pretending like it doesn’t matter. You think it’s not a big deal because you’re trying to push yourself to the limit what for? So you can impress someone? Or are you doing this for your fans?”
You shook your head, stepping closer, trying to make him understand. “You’re not invincible, Felix. You can’t keep doing this to yourself. I’m scared you're going to hurt yourself in ways that can’t be undone. I can’t just sit here and let you destroy yourself because you won’t listen to me."
But Felix wasn’t hearing it. Instead, frustration poured out of him. “I know my body better than anyone else, okay? Stop treating me like I’m fragile. I can handle this! You don’t get it. I can’t slow down, I can’t—” He broke off, his voice rising. “I don’t want to slow down! This is my dream, my life! I can’t just sit back and stop because you’re worried about me.”
The words hit you like a slap. His persistence, his desire to keep pushing himself, felt like a personal rejection of your concern for him. He was dismissing whatever you said, as if your concern was just an irritation to him. The pain welled up inside you, and before you could stop yourself, the words poured out. "Do you know what, Felix? Fine. Maybe I'm the one who doesn't get it. Maybe I'm too worried. Maybe you're right. You don't need anyone to watch out for you. Maybe you truly do know best, even if it is hurting you!" You took a sharp breath, the anger now fully bleeding into your words.
Felix froze, his body tense as he absorbed the sting of your words. For a long moment, the room was filled with silence, thick and suffocating. He opened his mouth to say something, but nothing came out. And with that, you took a step back, your voice quieter but bitter. "So, who am I to say anything? I'm just too worried, right? Someone who has no idea what is best for you. Fine. Do what you want. It's not like it matters anyway."
You stormed out of the room before Felix was able to react, leaving him taken aback and speechless.
The next morning, Felix woke up to the weight of the argument hanging over him. He tried to shake it off, tried to focus on work and rehearsals, but everything felt like a blur. His body ached more than usual, and his mind kept replaying your words. He knew he had hurt you. Deeply. But he didn’t know how to fix it.
At work, he tried to focus on the task at hand, but your face kept flashing through his head, your words becoming louder with each passing instant. You were only trying to help, to make him see that he was worn out, but he had pushed you away. He had been so headstrong, so determined to prove something, that he had neglected to care for the one thing that truly mattered: his relationship with you.
He saw you as he was leaving for a meeting and walking past your desk. You were staring at your screen, eyes red-rimmed and visibly upset, when it hit him like a ton of bricks. You were still hurting, and it was his fault.
Felix approached you gently, his chest tense with regret. "Hey," he whispered quietly, just above a whisper. You didn't look up at first, too proud or hurt to recognize him, but Felix stretched out and gently touched your arm. You looked up, and for just a moment, the vulnerability in your eyes cut through him. "I'm really sorry," he murmured, his voice shaking. "I shouldn't have said those words. "I was just... I was being an idiot. I know you were just trying to help, and I should have listened. I shouldn't have shut you out."
You took a deep breath, trying to calm yourself. "Felix… I just want you to be okay. I don't want to keep watching you hurt yourself when I know you're struggling. I care about you, and I can't just sit there and pretend it's not happening." Felix's stare softened, and he took a step closer, putting his hand on yours. "I care about you, too. I was stupid to push you away. I will take better care of myself, I promise. I don't know what I'd do without you. Please never believe that I don't appreciate you looking out for me."
You sighed, the weight on your chest starting to ease. “I’m just scared, Felix. I’m scared that one day, I’ll watch you do something irreversible, and I won’t be able to stop it.” Felix’s grip tightened, a vow in his voice. “You’ll never have to. I’ll listen from now on. I’ll let you help me. I just… I just need you with me.”
The air between you both seemed to calm. You let out a shaky breath and squeezed his hand back. “We’ll get through this together. But you have to promise me you’ll take care of yourself too.”
Felix nodded, his eyes locked onto yours with sincerity. “I promise.”
You leaned in and wrapped your arms around him in a tight embrace. Felix hugged you just as tightly, his heart lightening with relief. Despite the hurt and the argument, you both had a quiet understanding that would help you navigate the future together.

MESSY GIRL
cw: mature themes MDNI, oral *f receiving, swearing, praise (😫😫)
wc: 0.6k
a.n - i haven’t posted in wayyyy too long. im also sorry that this is very short. forgive me ? 🥺
✧✧✧✧✧✧✧✧✧✧✧✧✧✧✧✧✧✧✧✧
As part of your Saturday date night you and Felix decided to make brownies. Though, that’s not what you hoped would happen. That thought is exactly how you ended up slowly licking the spoon you used to mix the batter with while maintaining eye contact with Felix the entire time.
No matter how much he tries to ignore you, you always find another way to grab his attention.
“It’s good,” you hum in approval and nod. You hold out the spoon to your boyfriend, “Try.”
He hesitates but reluctantly covers your hand with his own as he tastes the mixture.
Such a tease.
Felix takes the spoon out of your hand and sets it back in the bowl before returning to his spot in front of you.
“Messy girl,” he grins softly as he reaches up to wipe flour off of your cheek. You smile back and lean up to plant a small, teasing kiss on his lips.
Well, you didn’t mean for it to stay small.
Felix circles his arms around your waist as you loop yours around his neck. The kiss turns from sweet and tender to hot and needy.
Within seconds he lifts you up by the backs of your thighs and carries you into your room. Somewhere along the way, you both lost your shirts as well as your bra.
Felix gently leans you back onto the bed while dipping his head down to resume kissing you.
“Lix,” you squirm underneath him as he takes his time licking and sucking your nipples.
“Tell me what you need,” his voice deepens to match his blown out pupils.
“Don’t care. Anything, baby.” Your response earns you a grin followed by his hot breath fanning right over exactly where you need him. He looks up at you for permission.
Frantically, you nod your head, desperate for any kind of touch.
Felix pulls down your shorts and tosses them across the room before turning his attention back to what he looks at like a man starved. You swear you could come just by the way he looks at you.
Felix has always made sure to make it very clear how much he loves every inch of you. He gives you zero time to second guess yourself. When you do, he usually ends up spending more time than needed praising you.
Felix leans in and pulls down your panties with his teeth, adamant to not break eye contact.
“My baby’s always ready for me. Such a good girl.” His praise along with the way he licks a flat strip up your soaked core push you further and further off the edge.
“Taste so good, love.” his groans reverberate throughout you making you squeeze your thighs around his head in return.
One of his hands snakes overtop of your hips, pinning you in place while the other searches for your hand that’s gripping the sheets.
“Fuck fuck, almost there.” you whine and squeeze his hand.
Felix gently bites your clit and hums, unfurling the knot in your lower stomach.
“Lix,” your free hand moves from your side to intertwine with his hair, pulling at the roots.
“That’s it baby. You’re doing so well,”
You peek down at your boyfriend who is still in between your plush thighs.
He tuts, “Messy messy girl,”

Sitting in on your friends couch stretching as you watching him stroll back into the room. “Y/n get your feet off my table” he said pushing your feet off. You roll your eyes looking at him “come on I was comfy” you whined throwing a pillow at him. “Yeah I almost spilled my drink” he said throwing the pillow back at you.
He slinks down plopping right beside you, sitting his cup down on the table he looks over at you. Those pretty brown eyes smiling at you “wanna order or do you want me to?” He asks. You shrug looking at him “I’m to tried to think about eating, uh my back hurts so much today” you say moving forward trying to stretch out your back. “Didn’t you go to the massage place the other day?” He asks eyebrow raising. You nod with a sigh “yeah, it didn’t help much” you say hand rubbing the back of your neck.
“How about we order food and I’ll give you a back massage while we wait?” He asks looking at his phone scrolling on DoorDash. “Lix you don’t gotta I’m just complaining” you said with a grumble leaning back against the couch. “Y/n you know I like giving massages plus you’ve worked how much this week?” He said still just staring at his phone. “Lixie you really don’t-“ you started but was quickly cut off “listen you stubborn ass you don’t get a say so” he huffed handing you his phone “now order what you want”
You rolled your eyes at his words but looked over the food menu. He has a point though, you have been working a lot. These past few weeks you’ve had overtime almost everyday. You would have probably worked today if Felix didn’t call in and give some excuse why you couldn’t. “Alright here” you said giving him his phone back. He smiled as he placed the order “alright” he said with a clap rubbing his hands together. “Let’s go to my room so you can lay down and I’ll give you the best massage you’ve ever had” he said like some anime protagonist.
You rolled your eyes but followed him back to his room, you laid down sprawling out quickly “what if I just take a nap?” You said with a relaxed sigh. He shook his head though “nuh uh I’m giving you a message end of story” he said flipping you to your stomach. He quickly straddled your back before you could protest anymore. “Y/n just relax?” He said with a huff. He started to move his hands over your back putting pressure in places he felt knots. He let out another huff stopping his movements. “Can you take your shirt off?” He asked nonchalantly.
You chuckled a bit “Felix is this your way at trying to see some tits?” You teased turning to look at him. He smacked your arms teasingly “you don’t wear a shirt normally when you get a message” he says trying to defend himself as sweet pink blush decorating his cheeks. You nodded mockingly but you did as he asked. You took your shirt off unhooking your bra you don’t even turn as your breast free. His eyes go wide eye looking down then quickly away. You laugh “come on Lixie they’re just tits” you tease. “Just lay back down” he said still trying to avoid your eyes.
You lay back down getting comfortable again as Felix takes his position again. When he straddles you again this time you can feel that he’s semi hard. His cock laying in between your ass checks. The feeling made you bite your lip a bit head spinning a bit. You moved back a bit pushing your ass again him. Felix’s eyes flutter a bit “are- are you comfortable?” He said coughing to clear his throat. You nod putting your head down hiding the grin plastered on your face. You can feel him getting harder, the way he’s positioned so close to your cunt is driving you crazy.
Felix leans forward pushing himself against you more as his hands push on your back. You leave out a soft groan at the pressure but also at the feeling of him. God you could feel yourself becoming soaked your head filling with scenarios making you even more turned on. You pushed back more making Felix moan a bit his hands gripped at your sides trying to steady himself. “Y/n.. stop moving” he said breathily. You didn’t listen though you moved your body back against his again letting out a soft moan at the feeling of him.
Felix’s hands gripped at your hips, his head falling back a bit at the friction. He was fully hard now cock nestled so perfectly against your ass. As you moved again you were met with Felix pushing forward as well. You both let out a groan at the feeling. He leaned down towards your his body pressing softly against yours. He moved against you grinding his cock against your plush ass moaning into your ear. He left a soft kiss to your shoulder before leaning back up. “Y/n..” he said softly. You looked back at him his eyes full of need but so was yours.
“Let me.. let me help you in another way” he said with a stutter. He moved you pulling your body at the edge of the bed. Legs coming to the ground as he looks at you asking for permission. You nod hooded eyes watched him as he pulled your pants down with your panties. His eyes locked on your heat your cunt glistened with lust. “T-tell me to stop if you’re uncomfortable” he said eyes fluttering back to yours. You give another nod and that’s all he needed. He moved down getting on his knees as he gripped your ass spreading you apart for him. He kissed and nipped at your skin as he made his way to your cunt.
He licked a long line up your cunt, clit to hole making you groan. His eyes rolled back at the heavenly taste of you. Swiftly he moved to eating you out like a ravenous animal. His hand coming up to play with your clit as he tongue fucked you. Your legs shook around him as you let out moans making his cock twitch. “God y/n you sound as good as you taste” he said his voice deep. He sounded as if he was almost drunk “I bet you feel just as good” he groaned. He pushed a finger into you making your body jolt forward. He quickly added another pumping his them in you curling them as he hit your spots.
“Lix- gonna- fuck ima cum” you say gripping the sheets feeling your orgasm so close. “Can- can we cum together? I know I’m not gonna last long please- I need inside you wanna cum with you” you babbled out. “Yes fuck lix please fuck me, wanna cum around your cock” you whined out. Felix stood up behind you dropping his pants around his feet before lining himself at your entrance. His tip kissed at your hole before pushing deep inside you. You both moaned so loudly you think the house shook.
The feeling of his girth inside you stretching you so well as you bottomed out. He let his body lay against yours as he wrapped his arm around you before moving. His thrusts were sloppy chasing both of your highs at this point. One of his hands found your breast the other playing with your clit. He pushed deep inside you moving as you felt his cock drag against your walls. You’ve always thought lix was attractive and maybe you’ve thought about this before. For it to be happening though? Was crazy to you.
It felt right though, it felt like your cunt was made for him. Molded to him like he was a key fitting in so perfectly. His cock hit your g-spot making you almost scream his name. “Ah- fuck y/n I- fuck I’m close” he said his movements becoming faster. His hand at your clit moved more circling perfectly making your legs shake. “Lix of fuck lix please right there fuck don’t stop- gonna fuck gonna cum!” You blurted out. And he didn’t. He didn’t stop till you were seeing stars cuming hard around his cock as he road out your high he pulled out cumming all over your lower back.
It took you both a few minutes to catch your breath before Felix leaned down moving your hair kissing your neck softly. “I’m definitely more relaxed now” you said laughing a bit making him laugh too. “I’m glad” he said grabbing a towel to clean you up he grabbed one of his shirt handing it to you. His eyes widen “shit our foods been sitting outside I hope no one stole it!” He said rushing towards the door making you laugh.
