*slams open door*I see requests are open!
May I request something nsfw with one of the chain where reader doesn’t know how to swim?
Reader just randomly brings up one day that she can’t swim and ask the chain for lessons. The chain obviously isn’t gonna give up the opportunity to see her in a swimsuit help their darling
I want to say that the best swimmer amongst the chain would be the one to help her but I’m not sure who that would be?
They don’t want to overwhelm her so they decided on having 1 on 1 lessons with her would be ideal, but they’re all just fighting on who has the better swimming skills/experience
Once someone emerges victorious, whether due to a begrudgingly unanimous decision or reader just going “oh, maybe ____ is the best choice!”, they manage to find a lake separate from the others
While reader enjoys her swimming lessons, no one says the Link giving her the lessons won’t be having wandering hands ;)))

💚anon!
Last time I told someone I couldn't swim, I did not live them down. I still have not lived it down.
Slight! NSFW So Minors stay away anyway?
You didn't say if you wanted Sage or not, but I added him anyway bc I love him <3
CW: sage is a big of a perv. but c'mon. We knew that.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
"C'mon in, Y/N, the waters great!"
Please say yes, please say yes, please say yes-
"I'm okay for now." Your smile was as gentle as it was luminescent. Curving just enough to have the apples of your cheeks warming, but not enough to make your eyes crinkle in that positively adorable way. "Thank you for the offer though."
Re-emerging from the water, Hyrule shook his hair free of water before pushing it back. "Why not, love bug? Don't you wanna cool down?"
Staying out there meant staying out of their reach. Staying out there meant risking yourself in the elements. Staying out there put you at risk, didn't you see that?! You could get heat stroke, or sun burnt, or attacked by a rabid deer who's being chased by a feral bear. There were an unlimited number of possibilities that spelled nothing but disaster for you. And he couldn't handle losing you like that. Not in a million years.
Cherry red dusted your ears as they twitched and lowered, the tips touching your now hunched shoulders. You avoided their gazes, fiddling with the hem of your tunic. Why weren't you looking at them? Why weren't your eyes on them? WHY WEREN'T THEY THE CENTER OF YOUR UNIVERSE IN THE SAME WAY YOU WERE THEIRS?!
You mumbled something, which made their ears twitch only for it be in vein. A few glances around showed no once else had caught that either.
"Mind repeating that, dove?" Sky asked, still on shore with his own tunics half-off.
"I can't...swim." You grumbled, looking a tad more frustrated then before.
Silence.
"Well, why didn't you just say so, sunshine, I'd be thrilled to teach you." Arms wrapped around your mid-section, toned and muscled. Dark ink caught the peripheral of your vision. He all but purred into your ear before sharp canines caught the shell, gently pinching it before releasing.
"Sage-" You startled, arms flying out.
"You learned to swim with Sharks. Why the fuck would we trust you to teach them?" Hyrule snipped, eyes narrowed on their newest member. Hyrule had seen a lot in his time, don't get it twisted, but Sage was something new. A whole different creature. He was feral at best, down right savage at worst; with teeth sharper than some of their knives and a moral compass more broken than any villain he's ever faced off of. So in , what world would he trust that fucking loose canon with the most precious thing in his life?
"Because I still learned in clear waters. Not toxic dumps." Sage snapped back, those same teeth on display
"Knock it off." Time barked at the duo, glaring down Sage for his glare of disobedience before turning to his precious star shine, voice must softer than it previously was. "Have you just not wanted to learn? Or do you not have the opportunity?"
You shuffled a bit in Sage's arms. "I just- My old town was landlocked. Any lakes we had were used for fishing in the summer and frozen in the summer." You admitted. Which is a totally reasonable excuse. And not silly. And totally valid. And learning to swim is stupid and dumb anyway. >:(
The arms wrapped around your waist moved so hands could brush against your hips. Somewhere in the lake, there was a shout from Wind before a loud splash, someone throwing the poor boy deeper down stream.
"Offer still stands, I'd love to teach you, sunshine." Sage purrs, feeling your cheeks burn from where he was nuzzling into them. You hum at the offer, thinking for a second.
"If you don't mind, I think I'll take you up on that offer."
Sage grinned something sharp and malicious, redirecting you away from the others with a look over his shoulder.
"I'll bring 'em back when they've learned to swim. That may take all night however." He chuckled to himself, shaking his head at the glares directed at him.
Maybe one day they'd get to his level.
He doubted it though.
<><><><>
"That's it, sunshine, you're doing great."
"This is dumb-"
"No, you're doing so well. Just like that," His arms were spread beside him as he remained in front of you.
"Sage-"
"Shh, do you not trust me, my love?" Sage's smirk never left his face as he instead swept in closer. His one hand moved from treading water to brush up against your side. "Just like that."
Your blush deepened as he swayed his body effortlessly, laying underneath of you as he brought yours to lay over his.
"I've got you, don't you worry sunshine." His hand raised so his thumb pulled down you bottom lip. "Though, I do feel I've earned some sort of compensation. Maybe a little incentive to keep this lesson going?"
You swallowed.
"I mean...if only to continue the lessons I guess." You swallowed.
His smirk didn't ease your worries, but how could you think when all you could focus on was the blond's lips against yours?
You didn't even realized you were floating effortlessly.
Or the eyes watching your presumable private lesson, fuming in pure, red hot, anger.

Ik you said you’re on break but that’s okay! I can wait lmao
I’m obsessed with your yandere lu writings. I would love a yandere Time x fem reader where he like extra creeps on reader? I’m talking like spying on them n shit and maybe stealing an article of clothing just bc it smells like them
Lord help me that sounds so weird
Why am I like this
Help
Thank you so much for requesting for my boy Time!
Notes: No no I like your way of thinking, give me your worst. Me, personally, I can be way worse than that lol
In fact, I may have accidentally made this creepier than I meant to, idk
By the way, when I said underpants in this I meant those white pants thing Link uses, which is probably called tights or something, but I didn't want you guys to read this and imagine reader with, like, fishnets by accident lmao
Time has anxiety and I'll not elaborate
I was gonna post this tomorrow, but ya know
TWs: Yanderism, stalking, suggestiveness, clothing stealing.
Yandere! LU! Time x Reader
In a way, Time was like a cat.
Tumblr media
There was no way you could just ignore random articles of your clothes going missing every time you went to bath.
No matter where you went to clean yourself, it was like one part of your outfit was picked out by hand and evaporated, be it your undershirt, underpants, socks, and sometimes even your underwear!
You tried everything to prevent it, hiding your clothes, setting up traps… You only drew the line when it came to anything to do with poison, since you couldn't bear to possibly end up killing an innocent animal just for the sake of clothes.
Even if said clothes somehow always ended up randomly returning unscathed to the rest of your laundry.
Time and time again, this topic was brought up in conversations with the men you traveled alongside. Yet, for some reason, the matter was also time and time again swept under the rug. It never got solved, neither did it ever get discussed, more often than not.
Starkly different from your point of view, Time found it pretty cute how you got all fussy over some little clothes, clothes which he could easily just make you throw away and buy new ones, it's not like he was lacking the rupees for it, after all.
Yet, he couldn't find it within himself to keep pressing on that matter, not when you looked just so embarrassed protesting against the idea of throwing away your under clothes, stressing about how comfortable your clothes were and about how they were your favorite because of that exact reason.
From what he's noticed, you barely ever wore anything else, no matter how many clothes they could offer you, which was proof of just how much you adored that outfit, each part that composed it having been carefully thought out before being picked out by your hand back when they first went to the market to look for an appropriate Hyrulean attire for you.
It was more than obvious by now that you weren't planning on getting rid of it any time soon.
Still, despite all your best attempts to keep your clothes safe, you couldn't really stop them from randomly disappearing, that is, unless you stopped bathing, and that was something you obviously couldn't even consider doing.
So, you simply sighed with resolution as you took off your clothes to once again go into the river next to the camp, wanting to wash off any grime that may have rubbed on you from the last battle the Links went through before you guys left for the next village.
A little ways down in the same river, you knew the other men were washing themselves, that way, a scream would be all they needed know to come over to help you, should anything happen.
Not that anything had ever happened to you while you were bathing.
You kind of felt like you were being watched, but then again, you learned to not pay attention to that, after all, your brain always seemed to like playing tricks on you, be it making you think you saw the shadows in the corner of your eye moving, or strange noises coming from bushes, all of which always proved to be absolutely nothing at all. Especially the strangely distinctive smell of Time rubbing off on your clothes...
Besides, whenever you looked around yourself to see if your senses were correct, you'd only be able to hear the calm silence of the river waters, almost as if the fish itself held back from swimming every time you tensed up.
The regular calming ambiance noises returned when you finally stopped being paranoid, going back to washing yourself with a relieved sigh, knowing the feeling of being watched was just a product of your tricky mind.
Sound doesn't travel much underwater. Should it be sounds of heavy breathing, sounds of something much larger than the river fish swimming, or even the heavy sounds of metal boots sinking into the sandy floor of the river with every step their wearer took.
Time observed with certain amusement as you walked around the shallow part of the river, your head just above the surface, your feet dangling dangerously near the deeper part. One wrong step and you could risk drowning.
However, you seemed to be having fun while cleaning yourself, enjoying the cool, clean water. The elder, though, was having his own fun watching you.
He had to give it to you though, no matter what you did, your movements were always so captivating to him. He had already seen a lot in his life, many races, creatures and even monsters. Yet you had such a… Human way of behaving. Even if humans were so alike hylians, you still seemed different in a way, a very good way in his eyes.
What was even more interesting to him was the fact that you were still different from the other humans he'd met through his life.
More often than not your actions were unpredictable and random, not at all serious, it was like you somehow weren't very phased after getting kicked out of whatever universe you originally belonged in and into another. An universe that was extremely dangerous and distinct from yours. His universe.
You were very, very far from your home, yet he could still see some of it in the way you spoke, behaved and reacted to the things and beings around you.
Sometimes, he'd catch himself becoming infatuated again with the stuff that he was already used to, simply because you seemed so surprised and excited by them.
Things he saw in his everyday life and just happened to ignore. Places, people, animals, creatures, plants, you name it. You gave him a renewed view of life, the whole "enjoy the small things in life" a concept so simple that still managed to make him feel truly alive again.
When he was with you he felt like Hylia and the Golden Goddesses themselves were paying him back for all heroic deeds he performed. In his eyes, you saved him.
In no time, watching the stars with you became a new routine, you were always so interested in them, yet still didn't seem to mind when he preferred to do something else, as to avoid looking at the moon.
Therefore, counting and catching fireflies was the next best thing.
And before he even noticed, he had bought an extra satchel at the market just so he could collect and buy those things that reminded him of you, things he noticed you pointing out whenever you saw. Pretty rocks, shiny crystals, colorful shells, and even those silly little trinkets that, in his eyes were useless, yet brought happiness to yours.
You'd even managed to make him blush the other day, when you told him he was acting like a cat, placing gifts by your bedroll at night, while you were asleep.
Yes, you made him blush. Him, The elder, The Hero Of Time that was also The leader their group, a group made up of the strongest men known in the history of Hyrule.
But, in a way, you were actually correct.
Cats are very attached to their favorite person, enough to follow them around and watch them do the most simple things, like sleeping, or bathing.
He didn't feel like admitting to those things though, especially not to stealing your clothes.
At first, he assured himself that he was doing all that watching just to make sure you were safe, after all, bathing time was the only moment of the day when you were “fully alone” or so you thought. Time would never forgive himself if you accidentally got hurt because of his lack of attention to you, even if the “hurt” in question was merely a scratch on your knee from accidentally slipping while bathing.
He knew better than anyone that too much peace meant something bad could happen at any time, and too little peace was even worse! Therefore, there was no middle ground, you needed to be protected at all times. And the fact he also got a little fun out of guarding you didn't hurt anyone. After all, what the eyes don't see, the heart doesn't feel.
He didn't even try lying to himself about stealing your clothes, he wasn't that delusional, after all, liking your smell didn't sound like too good of an excuse to tell you, should you find out about that little habit of his.
In a way, he wasn't even hidden right now, per say, he was just not in plain view.
In fact, sometimes even hoped you saw him, so that he'd be able to stop just watching and join you already.
After all, you wouldn't be able to get hurt if he was right there beside you, right?
Let him keep pretending that's the only reason he wanted to join you in the bath.

Scenario where we stray a little to close and die in battle. Everyone is grieving, only for Time to grab all his boys and play the Ocarina of Time, bringing them back in time to like that morning well before the battle. Everyone is gushing and relived out of their mind all while we’re super confused and panicking because “why does everyone look like they went through HELL?! You all looked fine a second ago why are half of you injured?!?!”
I tried to make this a hint funny but quite frankly, those boys wouldn’t make even the slightest effort to smile after such a tragedy.
Anywho~ let’s begin!
——-
The battle had been dragging on too long.
They were too close to camp, too close to where (y/n) was supposed to be safe. The usual chaos of fighting monsters had turned into something coordinated, attacks coming in waves, blocking off paths, forcing them to keep moving rather than pushing back.
Something wasn’t right.
Then they heard it.
A scream.
(Y/n)’s scream.
Wild and Legend ran.
They didn’t hesitate, didn’t call out to the others, didn’t stop to think. Their feet moved before their minds could catch up, hearts slamming against their ribs like they were already too late.
(Y/n) should be safe. They should be fine. That scream shouldn’t have happened.
Please be safe.
Please be okay.
Please—
A monstrous roar cut through the air, deep and furious, shaking the ground beneath them.
The camp was in sight.
It was wrecked.
Torn fabric from their tents flapped uselessly in the wind, supplies were scattered and broken, blood smeared the dirt like something had been dragged—
And standing in the middle of it all was a Lynel.
(How. HOW did they not notice such a beast?! to think it got so CLOSE to camp!!)
Huge. Breathing heavy. Sword dripping red.
Wild and Legend didn’t need to search for (y/n).
They were there.
Collapsed. Motionless.
Blood pooling beneath them.
Their hair was covering most of their face, but from here—Wild could still see their eyes.
Wide. Unmoving.
No.
No.
No, no, no, NO—
Wild’s body reacted before his mind did, a sound ripping from his throat, something raw and enraged and desperate. He charged, drawing his weapons as he moved, his body running on instinct, on muscle memory, on rage.
Lynels. He knew how to kill them. He knew their movements, their patterns, their weaknesses.
And he was going to tear this one apart.
Legend barely noticed.
He was already on his knees beside (y/n), hands shaking as he scrambled for whatever potions he had left, pouring them onto their wounds, pressing down with trembling fingers.
Too much blood.
Too deep.
Too still.
“(Y/n)?” His voice cracked. “Hey, hey, come on. Stay with me.” His hands pressed harder, his magic flickering between his fingers as he tried, tried, tried to heal them. “You’re fine. You’re gonna be fine. You have to be fine.”
No response.
Their chest wasn’t moving.
He wasn’t losing them.
He wasn’t.
“Please, please, don’t do this.” he whispered, his fingers gripping too tight, as if he could physically keep them here.
As if he could stop them from slipping away.
Wild was still fighting, hacking, killing. The Lynel barely had time to react before he was tearing it apart, his strikes vocious, his movements fueled by something beyond anger.
But Legend didn’t look up.
His entire world had narrowed down to (y/n).
And those unseeing eyes.
——-
——
The battlefield behind them was eerily quiet, the last of the monsters taken care of. But there was no relief. No victory. Just a sick feeling crawling up their spines, twisting their stomachs.
They quickly followed the path Wild and Legend had taken, weapons still drawn, bodies tense. They felt something was wrong before they even saw it.
Then they reached the camp.
And the world stopped.
Wild was still hunched over his blade, tbe Lynel collapsing from the final stroke through it’s head, Wild’s breath ragged, blood, his or its, no one knew, dripping from his blade.
His eyes were wild, teeth bared, the rage that had driven him still bubbling beneath the surface. But he wasn’t moving.
Legend was crouched beside (y/n, arms clutching them close, his expression twisted with desperation.
And then there was (y/n).
Still. Too still.
The blood around them was so much.
No one spoke. The air was thick with a suffocating silence, as if even breathing too loud would make this, this awful, sickening nightmare, more real.
Hyrule was the first to move.
A single step. Then another.
Then he was running.
He dropped to his knees beside them, his hands already glowing with the familiar light of his Life Spell, fingers trembling as he pressed his hands to their skin.
The magic flared.
Then sputtered.
Didn’t take.
His breath hitched.
“No-” His voice cracked as he pushed more, pleading with the magic, with them. ‘Nonononono…”
The others started moving, drawn in like gravity itself was pulling them toward the only one that mattered to them. Slowly, cautiously, terrified.
One by one, they gathered around, forming a tight circle, as if their presence alone could keep you here.
No one said anything at first. There was nothing to say.
Twilight hovered close, hands clenching and unclenching, like he was barely holding himself together. Sky was shaking, his entire body rigid, fists curled so tight they were white. Warriors swallowed thickly, his usual composure gone, replaced with something raw and unreadable.
Wind’s lips were pressed together, his expression tight, angry in the way one locke in denial and grief often is. Four’s fingers twitched at his sid, his eyes locked onto (y/n)’s like looking away would make this worse.
Time was silent, his face unreadable but his hands shaking at his sides.
Someone, maybe Sky, let out a quiet, broken sound.
Then Warriors knelt beside (y/n), one hand gripping their shoulder, his voice hoarse. “Hey. Hey, come on.”
Like he was expecting them to just open their eyes and tell everyone this was all some cruel joke.
Like they’d wake up if he just held on tight enough.
Legend had stopped speaking altogether, his shoulders shaking as he bit down on his lip so hard it nearly bled.
Hyrule’s magic flared again, fighting to work, his breathing harsh.
“Please…” he whispered.
The others stayed so still, the air around them too fragile, as if any wrong move would send it all shattering into something worse.
They couldn’t lose them.
They…they simply couldn’t.
—-
—-
Time stood frozen, staring down at their still body. The world around him felt distant, the sounds muffled, like he was underwater, like he was drowning.
His breath came fast, shallow, the rush of blood roaring in his ears, drowning out everything else. His heart slammed against his ribs, a relentless pounding that rattled through his chest.
It was a feeling he hadn’t felt in so long.
Like he was a child again.
Like he was powerless.
He had spent his entire life fighting against fate, defying it, clawing his way through trials no one should have to endure.
He had walked through time itself, lived two lifetimes, shouldered the burden of Hyrule’s expectations. He had worn a mask that turned him into something beyond mortal, something that should have made him strong enough to protect what mattered.
And then that Sorcerersss had dragged him and many others into that war, he had fought alongside other legends, both old and new, had witnessed firsthand what it meant to lead, to command, to win.
He had survived all of it.
And yet here he was, standing over their body, feeling helpless.
His hands clenched at his sides, trembling.
No.
No, this wasn’t happening.
This couldn’t be happening.
They were supposed to be safe.
He had watched over them, he had promised.
His vision blurred, his breath coming in short, panicked bursts.
It wasn’t supposed to be them.
He should have been faster.
Should have been stronger.
Should have-
He took a step forward, his foot landing in the pool of blood. Their blood.
His stomach twisted violently, bile rising in his throat.
He couldn’t do this again.
Not another person. Not them.
The others had gathered around now, their grief tangible, suffocating. Hyrule was desperately pushing his magic into them, his hands glowing too bright, his breaths too fast.
Time felt himself sway slightly, like the weight of it all was pressing down on him, crushing him.
A quiet voice, from somewhere deep inside, from the child he had buried long ago, whispered, Not again. Not again. Not again.
And yet—
They weren’t moving.
The world felt too small, like it was closing in, like his ribs were collapsing in on themselves.
He could hear Sky muttering something under his breath, Warriors pressing down harder on their shoulder, like he could just shake them back awake.
Wild was still kneeling beside the Lynel’s corpse, his body hunched over, his entire frame shaking with something between rage and despair.
And Legend was curled over them, his head bowed, his shoulders trembling.
Time forced himself to breathe, forcing back the panic, the nausea.
He couldn’t afford to break down.
Not now.
Not here.
Because if he let himself slip, if he let himself grieve, it would be admitting that they were already gone.
Time barely noticed when his hands started to shake.
His breathing was uneven, shallow, like he couldn’t get enough air. His heart hammered in his chest, erratic and painful. His mind was slipping, too many thoughts at once, too many emotions clashing and screaming inside him.
His fingers curled, nails digging into his palms, his hands trembling so violently that he could barely control them. He needed to do something, needed to act, needed to fix this-
His hand brushed against something within one of his pouches.
Smooth. Familiar.
His breath hitched. His fingers twitched, hesitant, before reaching in and slowly pulling it free.
He held it with both hands, staring down at it like it was something foreign, something he didn’t recognize. But he did. Of course, he did. (Was this disassociation?)
This was his.
This was a power he desperately needed.
His vision blurred, he wasn’t sure if it was from grief, from desperation, from the pressure crushing down on him. But his mind… his mind was erratic, scattered, racing in a dozen different directions.
To undo.
To change.
His breath came faster, harsher.
What if he could undo this?
His grip tightened on the ocarina, knuckles going white, his entire body trembling.
He could fix this.
He could make it right.
He could bring them back.
His heartbeat pounded so loud it drowned out everything else.
He lifted the ocarina to his lips, fingers poised, ready to play.
Only for a hand to grab his arm and yank it away.
“What the hell do you think you’re doing?!” Twilight’s voice was raw, edged with something frantic and desperate. His grip on Time’s arm was bruising, fingers digging in as though physically stopping him would undo the sheer horror of the moment.
Time barely turned his head, the motion sluggish, his mind still caught in a haze of grief and erratic thoughts.
Twilight’s chest heaved, his breath ragged, eyes wild. “You-You can’t just-” He choked, his voice catching like the words physically fought him to leave his throat.
Warriors was there too, stepping in, his face tense, unreadablex but there was a sharpness in his gaze as he stared down at the instrument in Time’s hands.
Twilight’s grip on Time tightened. “You don’t—You don’t get to play that song! You don’t get to—” He cut himself off, his breath hitching as he visibly struggled to get his words under control. “That song—it means—”
He stopped again, shaking his head furiously, his grip still locked on Time like he was terrified of letting go.
Time exhaled, slow, measured. “This is the only way..”
His voice was steady, but it wasn’t him. It wasn’t the leader of the Chain speaking, it was something worn. Something dangerously close to the child he had long since buried.
But Twilight barely heard him.
“You don’t get to just—You don’t get to—!”
His hands curled into fists, his breathing was shallow, his body was locked so tight he looked like he was on the verge of breaking into pieces.
He couldn’t say it.
Couldn’t say the word.
Because if he said it, it would be real.
And he didn’t want it to be real.
Twilight was unraveling. He felt himself unraveling, his body too tight, too tense, like if he let go for even a second, he’d completely fall apart. His breath was coming in short, panicked bursts, his throat tight with something raw and unbearable. His hands wouldn’t stop shaking, gripping Time’s tunic like it was the only thing keeping him standing.
“You—” Twilight’s voice cracked, his words slipping out, desperate and broken. “You can’t just—You don’t get to do this, Time!”
Time remained still. His expression unreadable. His hands, tight around the ocarina, steady in a way Twilight’s weren’t.
“Twilight.”
It was calm. Too calm. Like he was trying to soothe a cornered animal.
It only made Twilight’s breathing worse.
“No! Don’t—don’t say my name like that! Like you—like you know something I don’t! Like you’ve already decided—” His chest was heaving, his grip tightening before loosening again, his body betraying him, caught between fight and collapse. “You think you can just play that song and..and—” His voice broke, “They’re NOT gone, Time, you can’t just act like their soul needs peace! T…They’re just—” He shook his head, “they aren’t gone, they..they need help! ..w-we need to find a healer! A fairy! S-someone who can…can...”
A beat of silence.
Then—
Time exhaled and looked properly at Twilight.
And Twilight froze.
His whole body locked up, something primal inside of him screaming run but keeping him rooted in place at the same time.
He’d seen that gaze before. Seen it on him, when the moon was full and seemingly burning and the weight of something much older, much more terrifying, resting against his shoulders. White. Cold. Empty.
Not human.
Twilight’s breath hitched. His grip on Time’s arm vanished, hands falling away, shaking as he stumbled a step back.
Time’s voice didn’t waver.
“I will fix this.”
The words settled over them like a death sentence.
Final. Unwavering.
Twilight couldn’t move. He felt paralyzed, his whole body fighting between panic and something almost instinctual, something telling him that this wasn’t his mentor, this wasn’t the man he knew.
The air was thick with something they couldn’t name.
Then—
“How can you fix THIS?”
Legend.
His voice was sharp but quiet, words slow, careful, as if afraid of the answer.
His bloodied hands were still on (y/n), fingers curled, knuckles white. His mouth was pressed into a thin line, his face pale, his body unmoving.
And he was staring at Time.
So were the others now. Minus Wild who remained on his knees where he was.
Time’s grip on the ocarina never wavered.
He was looking ahead, staring at something they couldn’t see.
Then—
“What are you about to do?” Legend asked.
“..The Song of Time.”
The words left Warrior’s lips before he could even think to stop them.
And then everyone was looking at him now, including Wild.
every single one of them turned to Time in a split second.
Because they knew what that meant.
Time’s fingers tightened around the ocarina.
“You—” Warriors took a step forward, “You were going to play the Song of Time?”
Time said nothing. He just looked at him.
And that was enough.
Hyrule’s breath hitched. “Wait—wait, could he—”
“Twilight jerked like he’d been hit, his mind finally catching up to the weight of what was happening.
“You—” his voice cracked, “You were going to undo this? You weren’t…?”
Time finally blinked. The weight in his gaze lessened just enough for Twilight to suck in a sharp, shuddering breath.
But Time still didn’t waver.
“I will fix this.” He said it again.
Warriors’ breath was uneven, his mind racing, hands twitching at his sides like he wanted to rip that damn ocarina from Time’s grasp.
But he didn’t.
Because deep down, some part of him wanted to believe.
He swallowed hard. “Will it work?”
Time’s fingers curled tighter around the ocarina. His jaw tensed, his throat bobbing as he exhaled slow. “It will.”
And that was it.
That was all he said.
That shouldn’t have been enough.
But the way he said it, steady, certain, absolute,’like the sky was blue, like fire was hot, like the sun would rise tomorrow-
It made the air heavy.
It made belief an inevitability.
Sky’s breath hitched. “But—”
“How do you know?!” Wind cut in, shaking, desperate.. “How do you know it’ll be far enough?!”
“What if it only sends us back before the battle?” Wild snapped, voice raw. “We’d be dragging the beasts right to them! What if it doesn’t change anything? What if we just—” He broke off, his whole body trembling, his fingers digging into his arms like he was holding himself together with sheer force of will.
Time’s gaze flicked to him.
Then to Wind.
Then to Warriors.
To Twilight.
To everyone.
“It will.”
Like this wasn’t a question.
Like it was already decided.
Legend exhaled sharply, shaking his head. “And if you’re wrong?”
Time didn’t answer.
Because he wasn’t.
Because the idea that he could be was never an option.
Not when it came to (y/n).
Never when it came to that one person.
“Time-“ Twilight’s voice cracked, his whole body tensed, barely keeping himself from shaking apart. “Do you even know how far it’ll—”
“I do.”
Twilight flinched.
It wasn’t loud. It wasn’t forceful.
But it was final.
It was a fact.
Like the way he breathed. Like the way he fought.
Like the way he had always been the Hero of Time.
This would work.
Because it had to.
“Now gather close, or you will be left behind.”
Time didn’t wait for another argument.
Didn’t give them another second to question him, to hesitate.
He just pressed the ocarina to his lips and played.
The first note rang out, trembling through the air, and the world shifted.
The melody poured from him like second nature, each note pulling at something unseen, unraveling the fabric of reality, tugging at the very threads of time itself.
The air around him hummed, thick with power, and he barely noticed when the others moved closer. Whether it was instinct or trust or sheer desperation, he didn’t know. Didn’t care.
All that mattered was the song.
All that mattered was fixing this.
The ground beneath him vanished. The sky unraveled like ink spilling across parchment. He was falling, weightless, the notes still lingering in the air as time itself bent.
And he knew this feeling.
Had lived this feeling.
He was used to it, the way time peeled away like layers of an old tapestry, the way the past reached up to swallow him whole.
But the others-
Some of them gasped, sharp and breathless, the weight of the shift hitting them like a punch to the gut. Some gritted their teeth, held onto each other, held onto him.
But Time didn’t focus on them.
Didn’t let himself get distracted.
Because there was only the song.
Only the pull of time wrenching them backward, dragging them through the currents of the past, demanding they return to where they were supposed to be.
He felt the moment it worked.
The moment the world clicked back into place.
And when his boots hit solid ground againc when the weight of his body settled into the morning light, into the world that had not yet seen blood,
He exhaled.
And opened his eyes.
For a long moment, no one spoke.
The morning sun filtered through the trees, golden and warm, birds chirping in the distance like nothing had changed—like everything hadn’t changed.
The smell of cooking drifted through the air, something light and familiar, the scent of simmering stew bubbling away in the pot that Wild—the past Wild—had left unattended just moments ago.
The camp was… whole.
No shattered remains of their tents, no bloodstains in the dirt, no lingering stench of burnt wood and monster corpses.
No… (y/n) lying broken on the ground.
Time let out a slow breath, calm and steady, as if this was exactly what he’d expected. And it was.
He knew it would work.
The others, though…
They were stiff, wary, shifting in place like the ground might give out beneath them at any second.
Legend was rubbing at his face, as if trying to wipe away the exhaustion that still clung to him. Wild was staring at the bubbling stew like it was some kind of hallucination.
Twilight stood a little ways off, staring at his hands, clenching and unclenching them like he didn’t know what to do with himself.
Warriors was the first to speak. His voice was hoarse, his throat raw from all the shouting and grief of before, of a future that no longer existed.
“…We actually did it…” he muttered, like he barely believed it.
Wind swallowed hard. He looked down at his boots, scuffed and dirty from the battle that technically hadn’t happened yet. “We’re still—” He hesitated, gesturing at himself. At all of them. “Like this.”
Blood. Dirt. Scrapes and bruises from a fight that hadn’t even started. Evidence of what they’d just lived through, proof that it had been real.
That (y/n) had been-
Time exhaled slowly.
“It doesn’t matter.” His voice was even, firm. Grounding. “We’re here.”
He didn’t need to say why.
Didn’t need to remind them of what they needed to do next.
Because their heads all turned, almost in unison, toward the only tent still closed up for the morning.
The one where (y/n) was still asleep.
Still safe.
Still alive.
For a long, long moment, no one moved.
They just stood there, frozen in place, staring at the closed tent.
The urge to rush forward was almost unbearable, like a rope yanking at their chests, but no one made the first move.
It was too much.
The blood was still fresh in their memories. The sight of (y/n) lying there, unmoving, unbreathing—
They couldn’t go through that again.
So they stood there, tense and waiting, barely breathing.
And then—
Soft murmurs. A sleepy sigh. Rustling blankets.
The sounds hit them, sharp and painful in a way they couldn’t describe, their hearts all slamming against their ribs as the tent flaps finally shifted—
And (y/n) crawled out, rubbing their eyes, hair a mess, voice groggy as they blinked up at the group.
“…Mornin’,” they mumbled, completely oblivious to the way everyone stared.
No blood. No pain. No lifeless eyes staring up at them.
Just… sleepy, alive (y/n), squinting at them like they were the weird ones.
They yawned. “You guys okay?”
No one answered.
Because no one could breathe.
It was Hyrule who moved first.
Slow, cautious, like he was afraid to startle them. His hands trembled as he reached out, fingers barely ghosting over (y/n)’s arms, their shoulders, their face—checking for wounds that weren’t there anymore.
It was like his body was working faster than his mind, the overwhelming need to confirm pushing him forward before he could even think about it.
And then, as if his movement snapped a thread holding everyone back, the others surged forward.
They were on (y/n) in seconds, surrounding them, crowding close, hands reaching and grasping, pulling them into checks and touches that were both frantic and careful.
(Y/n) barely had time to react before they were trapped in a wall of bodies, everyone brushing over their arms, their back, their face—looking for injuries that didn’t exist.
“What— guys, what the hell—?” (Y/n) yelped, blinking fast as they suddenly registered how dirty everyone was.
Blood. Scrapes. Dirt smeared over their clothes and skin, like they’d been through something.
Like they’d just come back from a war.
(Y/n)’s breath hitched, their drowsiness vanishing.
“What happened to you guys?” Their voice was cautious now, eyes darting between the wild, desperate looks on their faces.
No one answered right away.
They were too busy touching them, reassuring themselves, trying to make sure this wasn’t some cruel trick—
That (y/n) was here. Alive. Whole.
Time, standing back from the chaos, finally let out a breath.
It worked.
——
——
It took a while for things to settle down.
At first, (y/n) was just confused, rightfully so. One minute they were crawling out of the tent, rubbing the sleep from their eyes, and the next, they were practically being smothered by the Chain.
And not in the usual overprotective way.
This was different.
It was desperate.
It took a lot of reassurance,(y/n) reluctantly eating breakfast while Wild kept glancing up like they’d disappear if he looked away, Warriors and Legend hovering nearby, and Twilight sticking close as if physically shielding them from something, before the group finally got moving.
Time made the call.
They weren’t staying here.
(Y/n) didn’t get why, nothing seemed wrong, their camp was fine, their usual routine untouched, but there was no arguing with him. He wasn’t going to change his mind.
So they packed up and left.
They moved far,not stopping until the area around them was completely unfamiliar, setting up camp in a much safer place, where there were no signs of monster dens, no ruins where enemies could be lurking, nothing.
And still, the paranoia remained.
No one relaxed.
Even after the fire was lit, even after dinner was done, even after everyone was settled in for the night, there was an edge to the air. Like the whole group was waiting for something.
(Y/n) had questions. So many questions.
But the longer they stared at the exhausted, shaken faces around them, the more they decided they didn’t want the answers just yet.
Eventually, one by one, the others turned in for the night. Even if they wouldn’t truly rest, they at least tried to pretend to.
(Y/n) was in their tent, laying down, half-expecting Twilight or Wild to come and insist on sharing their bedroll like they sometimes did when they got particularly clingy—
But instead, it was Time.
They blinked as the tent flap shifted, his tall form stepping inside. He moved slow, deliberate, like he was testing the space between them.
(Y/n) sat up, eyebrows raising.
“Uh… hey?” They greeted cautiously. “Something wrong?”
Time didn’t answer right away.
He just looked at them.
Really looked at them.
Like he was memorizing them all over again.
(Y/n) shifted under the weight of it, that unsettled feeling creeping back into their gut.
“… Time?”
Time sat down next to them without a word.
Not across from them, not a small distance away—right next to them, close enough that (y/n) could feel the slight shift in the bedroll beneath them.
He was silent.
Not just the usual quiet, the comfortable, thoughtful kind of silence Time carried.
This was heavy.
Thick.
Suffocating.
(Y/n) shifted awkwardly, the unease crawling up their spine. The others had been acting strange all day, but Time’s presence right now felt even worse. Like the weight of a storm about to break, something pressing down on them, making their stomach churn.
They hesitated.
Then, quietly, “Time… what’s going on?”
Still, he didn’t speak.
Didn’t even move.
Just sat there, shoulders stiff, hands clasped loosely together.
(Y/n) swallowed, forcing a nervous chuckle.
“Okay, you’re really starting to freak me out, old man. Did something happen?”
Finally, Time exhaled, slow and steady.
“…Something happened.”
(Y/n) perked up a little. “Yeah?”
Time nodded.
“I fixed it.”
(Y/n) blinked.
“…What?”
Another pause.
(Y/n) narrowed their eyes, the hairs on the back of their neck standing on end.
“Fixed what? What—”
“Don’t.”
The firm edge in Time’s voice startled them into silence.
It wasn’t a command.
It wasn’t an order.
It was a plea.
Time turned his head slightly, his jaw clenched, his good eye dark in the dim light of the tent.
“If you keep asking me…” he said, voice low, slow, measured, “I will tell you.”
(Y/n) stared.
He swallowed, his hands tightening into fists against his knees.
“And I don’t want to tell you…” He admitted, not wanting to te them how they all failed in protecting them. How their blood pooled beneath their cold body.. “So please… don’t ask me.”
(Y/n) felt their pulse in their throat.
Something was wrong.
The others had been acting strange, paranoid. Wild had barely let them breathe all morning. The whole group had been on edge, even after they had moved camp.
And now Time was sitting beside them, heavy and tired and quietly begging them not to dig any further.
(Y/n) licked their lips, their voice small.
“…Was it that bad?”
Time inhaled sharply.
His fingers twitched.
His mind flickered back-
The torn camp.
The blood.
(Y/n), limp and still, their lifeless eyes staring at nothing.
Time closed his eye.
“…Yes.”
(Y/n) barely had time to process the answer before they found themselves moving.
Their body acted before their mind, before they even realized what they were doing, reaching out, wrapping their arms around Time, holding onto him firmly, as if trying to ground them both.
For a moment, there was nothing.
Time sat stiffly beneath their hold, unresponsive.
Then his shoulders shook.
A breath hitched.
A sharp inhale, one that he tried to keep quiet, but (y/n) felt it against their shoulder, the way his body trembled, the weight of his grief pushing against them, too much to fully contain but held back just enough.
(Y/n) held him tighter.
They didn’t understand what happened.
They didn’t know what Time had done.
But whatever it was…
It had hurt him. Hurt them all. badly.
(Y/n) pulled back slightly, hands still resting on Time’s shoulders as they looked up at him.
His head was bowed, breath uneven, his expression twisted with something too heavy to name. The dim light of the tent only made it worse, casting shadows over the worn lines of his face.
Without thinking, (y/n) reached up, cupping his face gently and tilting it so he’d look at them.
Time’s good eye met theirs, surprise flickering through the grief.
(Y/n) gave him a determined look before brushing their thumb over his cheek, wiping away a stray tear.
“I won’t ask again.” they murmured.
Time exhaled shakily, the tension in his shoulders softening ever so slightly.
(Y/n) let their expression ease, giving him a tired little smile.
“But,” they continued, tilting their head, “I at least hope you and the others got revenge before you fixed it.”
A weak chuckle left Time, his voice rough.
“I think…Wild handled that part.”
(Y/n) huffed a laugh.
“Figures.” They let their hands fall from his face, nodding in satisfaction. “That’s all I need to know.”
Silence settled between them, but it was more relaxed now. The weight in the air wasn’t as suffocating, no longer pressing down so hard it was unbearable.
(Y/n) shifted, glancing towards the tent entrance, then back to Time.
“…I kinda don’t wanna sleep alone tonight.”
Time turned to look at them fully, his eye scanning their face.
(Y/n) rubbed the back of their neck awkwardly.
“Would you… stay?”
Time blinked.
Then, slowly, he nodded.
A small smile grew on his lips, the kind that carried warmth despite the exhaustion in his gaze.
(Y/n) returned it, letting out a breath of relief.
“…Good.”
Without another word, they shifted to make room, patting the spot beside them.
Time followed, moving to lay down beside them, a bit nervously but eagerly.
And as (y/n) settled next to him, still for a moment before arms wrapped around Time, he tensed before slowly wrapping his own arms around them.
Eventually, Time let out a deep sigh, his whole body relaxing as he feels their heart beat (alive, strong, such a wonderful rhythm) feeling their presence close, steady and real.
It was exactly what he needed. (He had a feeling the others will also get their own nights with their darling soon enough. (y/n) was just like that to be so considerate.)
It took no time at all for him to sleep.

Imagine the reader being Yan! Poly Chains deity. You were only a demi-god(dess), the child of the golden goddess Farore. You were hid away within space and time in a temple of your own so that no evil would touch the offspring of one of the golden three. Only—Ganondorf's forces invaded a place hidden by all, and you were forced to flee. You ended up finding The Chain, and they were all absolutely enamored.
Sky surely isn't that obsessed. He only pledges his undying loyalty to you. He has already killed a god once. He will kill another if it will keep you safe. He'd kill the golden goddesses if they tried to take you from the safety of his arms.
Time isn't absolutely possessive of you or anything. He just doesn't want you to leave them. Ever. If your mother or her sisters wanted you somewhere else, then wouldn't they have led you somewhere else? They are all the heroes chosen by the goddesses! That is practically a seal of approval on their part. You are basically already married to him. He already controls everything you do and everyone you talk to. Oh? A ring on your finger. It's just something for protection. It's a mortal custom from his world. You wouldn't dare refuse it, would you?
Legend isn't enamored by your very presence. No, not at all. Can't you see how snarky and rude he acts around you? He always pushes you away and doesn't allow you to touch anything. He's the Link who is most likely to lead you to Hyrule first if even so much as a scratch shows up on you. It's not like Hyrule and Legend have teamed up against the other Links to win your hand. No, not at all. He just wants to pawn you off on someone else. He's got more important things to do. Like enchanting more things to give to you so he can show the others that you are claimed by him.
Hyrule is just curious about you. It's not like he spends every waking moment watching over your figure and fantasizing about you. It's not like he makes sure that you are always healed first. It's not like he reluctantly teamed up with Legend or anything. You find him bathing in the same river as you. Coincidence. Sorry. He just couldn't stay away for too long.
Twilight isn't your personal guard dog at all. He just likes being near you. That isn't a crime! Perhaps he manipulates you a little into always letting him cuddle up to you as Wolfie. Perhaps he is always willing to glare at every other member of The Chain so they stay away from you. He's just a touchy guy, okay? He always has his hands on you. He's always carrying you. It's just a quirk of his. It totally isn't a deeply ingrained obsession he has about you being his mate. The only one he'll back down to is Time, reluctantly.
The Colors just like you—Four does as well. He isn't going to do the 'he totally doesn't like you thing'. His strategy is to be honest with you. He isn't manipulating you! He's just showing you how much better he is than anybody else in The Chain. He splits constantly just because the others are so eager to see you and be with you. He just wants to make you armor and weapons and always keep you in his arms. Is that too much to ask?
Wind just wants you to take him seriously. He's surprised when you do. You're a fan of him? You watched his journey? Wait, you have the ability to do that with your super cool and awesome powers!? Is aged up here and most definitely kind of dorky when it comes to you. He's the most relaxed and socially inept when it comes to the others. Most of his gaslighting, manipulation, and other yandere tendencies are subconscious. He doesn't even realize he is doing anything wrong until one of the others confronts him. It isn't like they are any better about it.
Wars doesn't just flirt with anyone, only with you. He always hopes that The Chain won't end up starting an inter-dimensional war over you. He understands what it's like to have someone madly in love with you that you don't have feelings for. He's the most self-aware of The Chain, hands down. He takes a more traditionally romantic approach. While he may be hesitant to manipulate you because he wants your feelings to be genuine, he has no problem manipulating the other Links. He has no problem with threatening to not help them during battle just so he can get some more time with you.
Wild is the most self-sacrificing. He is also the most self-depreciating. If you have read my headcanons yk yk. He is almost entirely non-verbal. He's only spoken once since you met him. He takes the 'actions speak louder than words' approach. He is willing to fall at your feet and make you depend on his attention. That's one of his dreams, making you just as obsessed with him as he is with you. Another is teaching you Hylian sign.
Bonus: Ravio, Cal, & Sage
Ravio is the most intrigued and illusive. All of the Links can agree that they will try to scare him away from you. That's why he'll randomly pop in and out of your daily life. The two seconds of peace you get a day are interrupted by him. You are prone to being overstimulated since you went from zero contact to an entire group of yanderes. Ravio offers you relaxation, and he even speaks in a quiet voice with you. He gifts you relaxation and sleeping potions. He gives you a bunch of jewels and things he has found. He sees you as a treasure that needs to be protected by him. You are priceless, truly one of kind. Is it so bad that he wants you for himself?
Cal is completely non-verbal. You haven't ever heard him speak. He sees Twilight, Wild, and Sage as his main competitors. Twilight, because he is also your silent protector. Cal is always near you in a protective manner, and he is unable to verbalize his feelings for you. It always allows Twilight to sweep you up off of your feet. Both Wild and Sage are more experienced versions of him. Wild clings to your attention, and at least he was spoken once. Sage is verbal and is able to loudly berate Cal without anyone stepping in. Cal just takes it. It's what he's been taught. At least one good thing comes of this—you, sweet heavenly you. He may be your physical protector, but you are his spiritual protector. You always make sure the others stay off him. Wild is always extremely jealous of this and acts like a wounded animal to get your attention back on him.
Sage is the most apprehensive and combative toward you. The goddesses failed him. Why should he fall madly in love with you like the others? It isn't like he is secretly yearning for you or something. Whatever. He is always willing to try and 'put you in your place'. Yet, you always understand him. You are always there to heal his wounds and give him a shoulder to cry on. You become the one deity that he can believe in. He's willing to maybe absolutely and unabashedly be head over heels in love with you. You like his arm? It's now his favorite part of his body. The rest of The Chain is already plotting how to remove his arm, so you will no longer praise it. Four's hands are already itching towards his tools, and The Colors are screaming to murder him at the top of their lungs.

this is my introduction to the lu fanbase !! luv yall and I hope you enjoy !
Tumblr media
# #. TIME
Time offers you his bed with a gentle smile on his face, hands on your shoulders as he carefully guides you to the bed. His voice is soft, promising that you'd be in good hands while laying with him.
He laid beside you, his back to your front, as to not make you uncomfortable. Its silent and still for a few moments, before shifting closer to him. You can't help but press your chest up against his warm back, throwing your arms around him as you giggled. Time stilled, feeling your face press up against his built back. He chuckled as you fell asleep, a soft smile forming on his flushed face.
He doesn't shift much as the night goes on. Besides cuddling further into you, he sometimes turns on his back, laying your head on his chest. Time's arms wrap around your body, as the two of you snore the first of many nights away.
# #. TWILIGHT
Twilight takes your hand in his as he brings you to the room. Sweat dripped down your face as you looked back a the other boys- Twilight didn't even ask! He just straight up dragged you. But honestly? Could you really complain? It was Twilight for gods sake. It was a dream come true to just be besides him.
You lay on your side, facing away from Twilight as you try to rest. You can't help but notice how his eyes seem to be piercing thru you. He shifts onto the bed, your back to his chest. You could feel his breath against your neck as he shuffled closer into you. Oh my god. This man was going to kill you with his stare- jasajkqdkauiksuef. Twilight chuckled softly to himself, noticing you squirm uncomfortably. Before you knew it, however, Twilights hand wrapped around your waist.
You couldn't sleep much that night. Maybe it was because you didn't want to bother Twilight by moving in your sleep. Or maybe it was because you were too flushed to do so. Between his soft breaths against your bare neck, accompanied by the way he slightly rubbed your waist as you slept. You were never going to be able to sleep at this rate. Either way, Twilight had an amazing night.
# #. WILD
Like Twilight and Time, Wild offers his bed with no hesitation, that smile on his face growing even more so once you agree. He grabs you by the waist, carrying you bridal style all tye way to the bed. You couldn't help but the thoughts that ran over you due to his eagerness.
Wild falls asleep as soon as he hits the bed, meaning he's all over you as soon as he falls asleep. His legs are thrown over yours, arms wrapped around your waist in a tight grip. He often moves around in his sleep, and drags your body wherever he moves. No matter what you try he just won't let loose, it's honestly better to just let him hold on and move around until he wakes up. He's a great cuddle buddy tho!
Sometimes, late at night, you may catch him cuddling into your chest, listening to your heartbeat as he sleeps, his arms are wrapped tightly around you, as a small smile grace's his lips. It might even grow if you pet his head as you rest side by side.
# #. SKY
Sky is the kind of person most people would want to sleep by. He has a calming personality and a gentle aura that just draws you towards him. So how could you ever say no to his proposal?
He lays face to face beside you. His beautiful blue eyes gazing deeply into yous. Seriously what was with these men trying to swoon you at every turn smh. Although Sky seems like he's trying to start something with his alluring gaze, he sticks to himself. His hands and legs stay on his side of the bed, although, while the two of you lay under the soft blanket you may feel him brush up against you.
Deep into the night, however, Sky lets his body relax against yours, hands and legs intertwining with your own. He held your hands in his own, his body pressing up against yours. His head pressed against your own, as light snores left his lips. You cant help but smile at him. Sky loves sleep. But he loves it more when it's with you.
# #. WARRIORS
Warriors gives you a flirtatious smirk as he asks the question- but deep down you know he's squealing like a little girl finally getting to talk to her crush for the first time. It was funny watching him act all Macho as he laid on the bed, raising his eyebrows as he beckoned you over. This guy is a total nerd istg.
Honestly just to spite him it'd be kind of funny to just sleep on the floor- but then you remember that he's actually a pretty boy so can you really say no? No. You can't. At first you may think he'll be all up on you as you lay together- but in reality he just sticks to his side of the bed, out of your space. Little words are spoke between the two of you, just a quick goodnight with a gaze that leaves your heart melting, before he's off to sleep.
It doesn't take that long for either of you to fall asleep. But soon Warriors arms come to wrap around you. He’s holding you close to his body as he succumbs to sleep. Too close in fact. It’s as if he’s hugging you to death with how tight his grip is. However, you cant help but snuggle into him. It's not uncomfortable being in his arms, in fact, it may just be one of the best hugs you had ever experienced.
# #. LEGEND
Legend probably didn't invited you to sleep beside him. No, it was probably your fault that the two of you were stuck together. Instead of him inviting you, you invited himself into his bed. Honestly, its kind of funny.
He's probably scooted all the way towards the edge of the bed, facing away from you, and frowning in annoyance. The two of you definitely sleep back to back, no questions asked. Mainly because if he caught a look at your sleeping face he'd get all embarrassed for sure. There's is no contact or words spoken between the two of you, just utter and complete silence as he tries to sleep.
But deep into the night he shuffles closer to you, burying his head in your chest for warmth and comfort. His arms wrap loosely around your hips as his legs press against yours. It's very tempting to take a picture but you decide against it, keeping his head there for the rest of the night. When he awakes he's in a for a major surprise!!
# #. HYRULE
Hyrule is immediately nervous when he poses the question. Would you say no? Ugh that'd be so embarrassing for him if you did- would you even ever talk to him again? All these doubts consume his mind- rushing in on a never ending loop- until you agree with a smile on your face. That's still doesn't stop how nervous he is while laying besides you though.
Its awkward for a bit as you and Hyrule lay on your backs, staring up at the ceiling as you talked the night away. He relaxes as time goes on. His hands are laid across his chest, a smile on his face as he speaks. You converse about his adventures, world, and vise versa. He spoke to you so kindly and gently. That you couldn't help but giggle alongside him.
You talk deep into the night, but suddenly the waves of tiredness consume you both. Accompanied by the cold air and the long and excruciating day you just went thru, you almost fell asleep immediately. You and Hyrule cuddle close for comfort. It's hard being in a different world- away from all your friends and family. But being besides him made it just a bit better.
# #. FOUR
Four is a bit embarrassed to be sharing a room with you, yet he gravbs your hand, intertwining your fingers as he leads you to the room. He tells you he can shift into his minish as you guys sleep. Giving the both of you more room and space in the bed. Yet you disagree, mainly because don't want to crush him obviously-
So instead you just cuddle him close to your chest, holding him against you as you 'immediately' fall asleep. You can feel him tense and squirm around in your hold- yet he doesnt dare do anything. Four can't move- that would disrupt your sleep! His mind is running, his face flushing a deep red, ad he feels you hold him tighter. How the hell was he going to get out of this?!
He settles down in your embrace, slowly succumbing to sleep after his mini heart attack. He moves up your chest slightly, resting his head just below your neck. His legs intertwine with your own as his hands wrap around you in a tight hug. You can feel his soft, yet hot breathing against your neck, making you smile against his forehead.
..
Honestly just make a giant dog pile with all of them and sleep together. That'll be fun!
I love all these Links <3

Alternate Hero/Guide Rant
So I've been thinking lately of parallel universes and the question "what if this was changed", yada yada, and I thought of something having to do with our guide.
What if, in an alternate era/timeline they took the place of Link?
Like the Chain still has their normal dynamics, same meeting, etc., but in swoops the reader (the heroine/false hero?) and they are unlike any link/hero in the timeline.
Some background for their Hyrule might be that their entire Hyrule is in ruins, like completely. Think Totk but 100 times more destroyed. Yeah. Essentially, their Link mysteriously disappeared, monarchy was left in utter chaos and the country essentially destroyed itself. I think your backstory would take place 5000-10,000 years after Wild's, so you would be the most latest "Link".
One of the main deviations between yourself and the Chain is that you didn't fight Ganon/Ganondorf/Demise; you fought Hylia in the flesh.
In terms of triforce? You don't have any pieces because your Link gained them all and left shortly after that. Conspiracies say it had a more sinister motive, but you have a different idea of what happened.
Zelda was killed around the same time Link disappeared, essentially destroying whatever foundation of Hyrule was left. The different nations of Hyrule had a 50-year war and eventually, everything was so destroyed that everyone went into isolation, closing off from each other.
A religiously-motivated eruption of chaos occurs, spurring your quest to eliminate Hylia and her existence. Despite not having any relation to the royal family, Link, or Hylia's prophecy, you have the memories of each hero, which is unheard of with the Chain. Only Zelda's have previous memories, meaning you're some weird anomaly.
A bunch of shit happens, whatever, boom you're in Wild's Hyrule. THe Chain notices you almost instantly, mostly cuz you're wearing hero's garb, but none of theirs, meaning... you're a Link. Or so they originally thought.
That's all for now.
Let me know if y'all would like to see a full fleshed-out fic of this! :3

WE BOTH BE SIMPS FOR SKY ✨ THE PRECIOUS BEAN <33333 He has my entire heart, I love him smmm
But also now, got me sad for Sky cause poor baby deserves to get the experience of self expression through tattoos </3 which I think would work especially well in, say, self aware au, cause I would get to take him to get his first tattoo <33333 paid about $900-1K for all three sessions for my entire sleeve, I will gladly pay whatever for anything he wants done <333 especially if he wants a colored tattoo <3333
But also I’d love to know more of your thoughts on the whole Human vs Hylian thing, what are some key differences between hylians and humans that you haven’t had the opportunity to bring up yet? Doesn’t even have to be key differences, I’d just love to learn more on what your thoughts are <3
~🍀 anon
YEAHHHH SIMPS FOR THE BEST BOYYYY <333
I think sky would actually really want to get a tattoo after learning how they're pretty common for humans (he'd also want to either get one to match one of yours or a new matching set with you <3) but I think he'd want it to have an important meaning - his first one (only ones with self aware sky) has something to do with you, say your favourite flower or something that reminds him of you I also think he'd get something symbolic of crimson (also that price range for a sleeve sounds like a steal from the prices near me ong)
as for other headcanons about humans/hylians? One thing that I've been thinking about but haven't brought up is spice tolerances, and how Hylian spice tolerance is utterly abysmal compared to humans
Tumblr media
remember this scene with the goron spice being used as a threat? I think that goron spice is about on par with a mild curry/chili powder.. Wild - They're using something that for most won't really register as spicy to punish the chain for the whole thing with the vai outfit.
Sky probably has a pretty low spice tolerance too but his is more because he's never had anything remotely spicy in his life, he could grow to have more of a tolerance whereas wild has had his body changed a lot by the sheika juice so I think certain tolerances of his got bumped up by a lot too - cal would want to eat it and struggle through but wild just eats it like no ones business In general I think that hylians just have a worse track record with anything you'd eat caffeine, poisons, alcohol, spice and even mint can make them struggle sometimes (Do NOT give wind an energy drink so help you)
I also think that hylians have a pretty weak immune system compared to humans, however it's also rarer for a hylian to get sick than it is for a human to cause of ✨magic✨ if any of the chain were to catch just the common cold from you or sky it will take them OUT, for humans the symptoms are just a runny nose, sore throat, cough and a fever for the hylians all of those things are dialled to one hundred - you get a sniffle? Time can't breathe. sky has a mild cough that he's trying to milk to get you to give him hugs? Warriors sounds like he's hacking up a lung and is that blood he just coughed up!!??
I also think hylians are unable to knowingly lie, like white lies are possible and if they fully believe what they're saying is true then they can. But an outright malicious lie or something like the turncoats? It isn't possible without dark and/or potent magic affecting them in some way. (or by having a human spirit instead of a hylian one >:3c) this also means that most hylians cannot use sarcasm, or at least not very well do with that what you will <3

I'm going to create a master list just for this series, to be more organized.
Again remembering, my English is not perfect, so sorry for any mistakes

𝕿𝖍𝖊 𝕿𝖍𝖊𝖗𝖊𝖊 𝕻𝖗𝖔𝖒𝖎𝖘𝖊𝖘 𝖔𝖋 𝖆 𝕳𝖊𝖗𝖔(𝖎𝖓𝖊) 𝔈𝔭.02
"(Name), are you there?" - Waking up suddenly, you recognize the voice in your head. You look at the boys sleeping in the camp, realizing the situation you're still in. You look down at your lap, sighing for not being at home. The voice of your young highness in your head seems to fade, although it's not strange, it's a bit unusual for your highness to speak to you like that. You hope to be able to return home; until then, you need to try to find a way.
Even though several days had passed, the group was clearly noticing that you didn't want to be there, perhaps feeling uncomfortable with the fact that everyone was male. That's what Sky presumed and got everyone to agree upon.
"They hardly even talk," Hyrule said as he looked into the fire. At that moment, you had gone out to see if there were any monsters around the camp. With that, everyone could now talk about you without fear of disturbing you.
"Well, we're practically strangers to them, what do you expect?" Legend said as he looked at the group, making everyone ponder.
"Well, we know she comes from a Hyrule, that's clear from what we can see. Moreover, when we asked that question, they didn't deny coming from a Hyrule," Sky said as everyone agreed.
"We also can't forget about her clothes. Despite being different, it's practically the same as a Hyrule's," Warrior continues, making the group agree. Your clothes were totally different from theirs, but the fact that they were different yet similar made them think you could be some kind of fan, if not for the two sword sheaths at your waist.
"They also carry swords like us, but when I tried to get a better look, they were covered, and I couldn't see if it's really a sword," Wind completes Warrior, recounting the time when you and he were alone.
Time seems to ponder the situation. Your behavior was closed off in the first few days, he still remembers how he met you. You were standing with your foot on the head of a decapitated monster, your gaze seemed empty, and there were two more decapitated around, but there was no sign of any tool or weapon you could have used. You probably put it away as soon as you finished, since one of your hands was holding your sword sheath while the other seemed to be holding something hanging from your waist. Whatever it was, your hand was slightly red, as was your face, which only had a blood stain. Time remembers this perfectly.
When he introduced himself and the others and where they came from, he noticed that you were hesitant about them. When they asked about you, they only gave your name and that you came from a Hyrule, just that, nothing more, almost as if you didn't trust them, which makes sense, and Time understands perfectly. He was the oldest there. "Let's leave them alone for now. Let's not forget that we acted the same way when we first met. Eventually, they'll open up. Until then, it's better not to push too hard," Time said, sighing as he looked at the group, who were sweating profusely.
"Well, let's put that aside-" Sky's speech seems to be interrupted when he hears something approaching. Turning his head, everyone in the group looks to see you dragging what appears to be a dead deer with just one hand, while the other holds a cloth bag stained with black and red blood. Once again, there is a bloodstain on your face as well as your hands stained red, but that's it; the rest is clean. The only sounds coming from you are the noises of the deer being dragged; it seems that your feet don't even make any sound, just like you don't emit any sound.
You drag the deer until you're close to the spot where Wild usually uses the fire to cook. Wild, who was sitting on a log, looks shocked at the sight. He observes as you drop the cloth bag next to the deer, your blood-stained hands on each side of your body. You look at Wild, who quickly gets up as his gaze follows you. The group remains in total silence as they watch the tense situation unfold.
"I-I'll take care of the rest!" Wild stammers, almost tripping over his words. He sees you nod your head slightly in agreement before turning away and walking off.
Stopping on the path you came from, your eyes glance sideways at the group, each in their own corner. You turn back to face forward.
"There's no sign of any monsters. I'll check further around," you say, not waiting to hear the opinions of the others. Without a word, you disappear into the forest, blending into pure silence.
"What the hell was that?" Legend whispers quietly, looking shocked at what just happened. He looks back at Wild, who has cold sweat dripping from his face.
"At least we'll have dinner!" Warrior says, trying to brush off the tension, also sweating profusely. Wild nods as he crouches down to examine the dead deer.
"I think this is more than just dinner. I think… maybe even more than that," Wild says, already starting to take out his knife and carve the meat.

It was hot.
So unbearably hot. Sweat was dripping between every curve of the body he had worked so hard to achieve, leaving behind a misty sheen as his breath fogged in front of him. The air around him was practically smothering, but he couldn't bring himself to care. No, this was a religious experience that he was blessed to experience.
Nothing could ever top this moment. Not anything he had experienced up to this point.
But oh, how willing he was to show his absolute devotion to you, his Goddess, his muse, his star given soul mate. Anything to show your saintly soul that his own was open to you. To take, to shred, to treasure, to obliterate. Anything, and it was yours. He was truly committed to your entire being.
And you knew it to. He knew you knew it from the glares you would shoot inn keepers that fluttered their lashes at him. He knew you knew it from the sharp, venom laced words you would hide behind a sweet, lace lined tone designed to make the other just wilt before you for even thinking of approaching him. He knew you knew it from the dangerous, but ever erotic, gleam in your eyes as you followed the movement of the one waitress that left her hand to linger on his shoulder for a second too long.
And was it ever anoetic.
It was like linking a chain between the two of you with every interaction making it stronger. Reinforcing it with titanium steel only to enhance it with unbreakable enchantments. It was coiled so tightly around the both of yours hearts, like a double headed viper ready to strike any other imposter daring to try and tame the other's rearing serpent. Perhaps there was something unhealthy about it all. but he couldn't find himself to care.
He couldn't even find it in himself to think.
Not when the searing trails of both his cum and your own trailed down his thighs, burning like magma wherever it touched. Not when your own form was bouncing above his own, your own skin polished with sweat as your inner walls, velvet and absolutely piquant (He would know), clung to him, pulsing and squeezing him for everything he had to offer you. Not when his neck and collarbone, littered with bites and hickeys, angled itself mindlessly to give you better access.
Everything about him was positively brainless, nothing but a useless doll for you to use and abuse should you deem it what you want.
But you wouldn't.
You would never dream of hurting him in any way, shape or form. It's what made you so exquisite. You cared for him in a way no one else previously had. Everyone else in his life either left him or was left behind, but you- you had followed him. Clung to him so tightly he had no choice but to be dragged down to whatever depths you fell through to. Not that he would ever let you fall far.
No, he couldn't imagine a life without you. Without your semi-stern glares and light scoldings whenever he gets just a little too reckless in ensuring your safety. Without your gentle hands, cradling his face as you coo at him in that soft voice of yours that he was yours, only yours, and you were his, and nothing, not even the Golden three themselves could pull the two of you apart. Without your smaller frame underneath of him, clinging to his form as he drilled into you, imprinting his every inch onto your being, absolutely ruining you for anyone else.
He knew he was. No one else would ever live up to you. You were beyond words, celestial if it could be something tangible. He knew anyone else chances were all but derelict. Not there ever was a chance for any other possibility.
"Goddess, Link-"
You never called him Time. Never. Besides nicknames, the only other moniker you called him was his name. You called the others by their titles, but not him. You once explained to him that it was because he was more than just a title to you. He was more than just a hero. He was your very reason for pushing on in the morning, for breathing, eating, simply existing in this realm.
He was more than just a title to you.
He was Link, the humble farm boy who was traumatized beyond belief. Who required delicate handling even when he didn't feel he deserved it. Who needed someone to ground him and smooth out his chipped and tattered edges.
He needed you.
Oh, he needed you badly. Even just having you here, cunt squeezing around him as you rolled your head back, hair falling back before you were leaning forward. You laid on his chest, emphasizing the heat around you both, as your forehead landed on his. Your hips never stopped moving, dragging deliciously up his shaft, leaving a milky white sheen in your wake, before slamming back down, a filthy squelch echoing out.
One of his palms, flat and heavy, raised to clap against your ass cheek, making you clench around him as your head fell forward, whimpering into his ear as something wet dripped onto his lap.
You shivered and shuddered, but, gloriously stubborn you, refused to slow even the slightest. He knew what you wanted from him, and he was more than willing to give it to you.
You wanted a baby. His baby. You wanted to carry his child, a piece of the two of you together. You wanted to be tied together for the rest of your lives. You wanted to be the mother of his children.
He could see it now. You all round and barefoot, taking care of the house while he went to work with the knights at the castle or down at the Lon ranch. You, wearing a soft pink apron, as you baked and cooked meals to last the time you would be in recovery because you both knew he was useless in the kitchen. You, who would look downright elegant, despite the strenuous act you just went through, cradling his baby. His baby that would suckle at your teat as you glowed like the angels above came down just to bless this event.
And he craved that.
With a low groan, his arms shot up to wrap around your back as his hips hammered up, pushing right against your own as he plunged in as far as physically possible. He was sure he was kissing the ring of your cervix with how far he was docked within your walls, which throbbed around him. Old loads leaked out around him, making room for the new stuff, as you cried and withered, cumming around him with a cry of his name.
He knew he would go through whatever needed to give you your desired child, and it seemed you thought the same as you sat up, chest heaving in heavy pants, staring down at him. Overstimulation racked his spine, as he was sure it did yours, but he was given a mission. A quest.
And nothing would stop him from completing his quest.

Alright alright- Bear with me here. Could I perhaps ask for a Yandere LU Chain, where Reader is like HUGE adventurer. Kinda like Wild in his game, exploring everywhere and stuff. But one day maybe Reader gets hurt on an adventure by a black-blooded creature, and the Chain is bit too late to save them. So Reader is like Twilight for a bit, although maybe they can also recover due to the Chain likely supporting them as much if not more than with Twilight. How would the Chain react to this afterwards? Would they be relieved, angry, or...? Both? Tbh I think overprotectiveness would just go brrrr after this-
Also, love love LOVE your writing! Seriously, HOW DO YOU DO THIS MAGIC? It's put together so well and istg i get goosebumps sometimes from this stuff.
Thank you!!!
Thank you very much for requesting, and I hope you enjoy this very late reply!
Notes aka author ramblings: Apollo slapped me in the face with random energy and motivation to write this, the inspiration came along the way and faded a bit more towards the end, so please take that into consideration 😭
Basically I wrote this on the span of 2-3 hours
What may look like a few plot holes was some ties I left untied on purpose because I felt like it'd probably sound too much like an info dump in the oneshot
But I have so many thoughts
And yes reader's codename is Stray
I hope I'm not rusty fr
TWs: Light yanderism, blood and wounds (not graphic), mentioned spiders, bullying, childhood trauma and exclusion.
Yandere! LU! Chain x Reader
Stray at heart, collared in body.

The world is big and full of stuff, and to say that you loved to explore it would be an understatement. Sometimes it felt like your biggest love was for adventuring, cause’ of course it was! How could anyone not love to find new places, objects, people— Even animals and magical creatures!
It was the type of subject that got you rambling and all excited.
Of course, you weren't exactly one of those pure born hyruleans, you weren't even from Hyrule, for starters, so you lacked the elegant pointy ears, and, well, the actual magic and luck that came with being one so close to Hylia as the race that descended from the Goddess herself.
That definitely hindered your explorations, leaving you bare handed when it came to healing and all things good and helpful for explorers like you. Still, none of that ever stopped you.
Actually, it was the thing that moved you to start in the first place, back when you were very young.
Back then, in the village you came from yet never considered home, the whole place felt filled to the brim with boredom-inducing stillness — or so you remembered, and so your childish eyes told you — you felt like it wasn't worth staying there.
It was going to be still and empty of fun forever, you could never be happy staying locked down there when so many new and yet ancient things were waiting for you everywhere else!
Needless to say, your head was constantly in the clouds, though, maybe that was a good thing after a while. It certainly shielded you from feeling too lonely when you started to actually notice you were being excluded by the rest of the children.
The stares and quiet giggles weren't easy to bear, but you just learned to deal with them with time, keeping yourself focused on your future instead, the future you wanted to build far away from that place.
Of course, as you are now today, and after learning about and interacting with so many different cultures, learning what you could from their knowledge, some things stuck with you.
Like the knowledge that now you had, that the children weren't ever the ones at fault in the first place.
Their stares and giggles mainly mimicked, almost perfectly, the ones who teached them to act that way, their glares and mockery.
Sometimes you wondered how your own parents managed to cope with being badly spoken about in the mouths of other adults from that village, the ones who insisted in believing your restless adventurous spirit from such a young age could be nothing else but bad parenting or a curse to the family.
You used to believe it, wish it was real and you either were or had a curse. That would mean that you at least had a percentage of magic in your veins, even if it wasn't exactly the best type.
Because it turns out, you didn't fit in with the most of Hyrule, either. Your normalness kept them away just like your strangeness used to keep away those around you during your childhood.
In fact, that acquired you the nickname of “Stray”.
Stray. Stray because at heart, no matter the community you shoved your way into, you didn't truly belong anywhere. You belonged to the world around you, and nothing could force that out of you.
It was deeply etched into your very soul.
Or so they said.
Well, a group of people begged to differ.
You've heard of a “hero” and a “triangle trio” thing more than a few times already when you roamed the remaining villages of Hyrule, but the last thing you were expecting to find was nine heroes traveling together in a group.
However, none of them belonged here anymore, and so that spoke directly to your inner child, the one who was used to being the only one, always related to some synonym of lonely.
You were often called “Stray” by them rather than your own name, but you still wore the name with pride, because now you were in no way the only stray present anymore.
They were also the reason you stopped wishing for a curse of a magic of some kind. Because you were more than aware that then they'd also have to force you into an imprisonment of some kind.
Still, you already felt achieved.
Finally.
What else could you wish for? You were finally able to explore to your heart's content.
Though not without many worried glances and startled yells sent your way every time you got near anything that left you endangered in some way.
And the best part, you weren't shunned anymore.
At least not by them. Villager's still gave you uneasy and passive aggressive glances.
The one you were probably the closest to was the one named “Wild”, or so they called him — calling all of them “Link” wasn't ideal — after all, out of all of them, he was the one who was most in tune with you.
You were both from the same time period, which already differed from the others, but he wasn't able to fit in anymore due to his lack of ties to any community.
Of course, you were more than aware you still weren't the same. If he tried, he'd still be able to settle down anywhere he wanted, but he still had a job to do which rendered him unable to do so, therefore you made yourself believe you were still alike in some way.
It would hurt too much to not do so, your sanity was at sake here.
They made it so easy too. being all friendly and welcoming. You finally felt at home, in peace.
What else could you truly wish for?
Although, maybe singing victory and yapping about happiness wasn't the smartest idea when they were all in a dangerous mission. And you, of course, were involved.
You were all exploring — or rather, just walking through — a forest on the way to some village at the very ends of Hyrule.
The people of that village didn't travel much, but they had something your group wanted, therefore, your group had to go to them instead.
Being the dumbass, air head, you were, instead of walking in the middle of the moving crowd of fully capable heroes, you found yourself roaming the edges, gawking at whatever you could see yet not reach for past the edges of the path you were all following.
Time was keeping his eye on you — the only working one he had — the whole time, making sure you wouldn't wander off. You felt like a kid.
And just like a kid, the very moment he got distracted, killing a Skulltula, you wandered off.
However, turns out there wasn't just one spider.
The forest was infested, which definitely explained why the village folk were so against the idea of wandering too far past the starts of the foliage and the big thick bushes surrounding and protecting the narrow path you traveled by.
Didn't take too long for you to be found by something else rather than your friends, who by now, must have been definitely looking for you.
They never took long to notice your disappearances, the opposite actually, which used to annoy you a lot since Wild never had to face the same overprotectiveness. Not even Wind!
Now, your desire to prove them wrong brought you face to face with one of said spiders.
Maybe they weren't that wrong...?
And, just you luck! The thing undoubtedly had black blood.
Just like a kid, you failed to remember or acknowledge the fact your group just happened to be chased by those types of monsters earlier, some still following you.
It just slipped your mind, completely.
Just like you slipped on the mud on your way out of the trees and back to the narrow path where your friends’ yells and blurry faces were awaiting and rushing towards you worriedly.
When did it start raining enough to create mud?
The mud smelled metallic.
Your memory was blurry, the world itself felt blurry.
Still, you half remembered, like a far away memory, stumbling out of the thick bushes and into many arms, blood equally as thick dripping from a gash in your abdomen like a waterfall in a rainy — stormy, more like — day.
Then, like a blink, a very long blink, your consciousness was gone.
It took an overly long while for you to wake up. It felt like sleeping during a rainy night, you never wanted to wake up the morning after, and even if you felt like waking up was the best idea, your body refused to open it's eyes.
Only difference was that for you it felt like an overly long rainy night, and like you spent the following week still asleep.
At some point sleeping even became boring.
And you had 9 voices in your head telling you to wake up “please”, when they weren't chatting — worriedly, most of the time — amongst each other. Didn't sound like the usual, to be honest.
When you did come to it, it was in a slow, painful way.
Your head felt like someone banged their shield against it multiple times. If bone was able to bleed, your skull would have been bleeding.
Your eyes also felt tired, despite having just woken up from a long, restless and dreamless nap.
However, your throat felt surprisingly fine, and so did the rest of your body, though you felt numb and weak.
Instantly, your senses were crowded by familiar scents a bit too close to you.
Twilight's was the one which overwhelmed the others, and was paired with the feeling of fur and warmth, overwhelming warmth.
Your body definitely felt too hot. that much you could tell. Though the sight of the many blankets, coats and furs — one specific dark gray fur, actually — explained that, and also the weight on top of you.
With some strain and trembling limbs, you sat up. Instantly regretting it when the sleepy feeling which was still clouding your mind and leaving your movements sluggish got torn away from your body by the force of a sharp pain on your abdomen, strong enough to challenge the dull one still hammering inside your head.
You made a groan of pain and pushed the pile of warmth on top of you to the side, making it fall off the cot you were laying in, exposing the reason for your pain.
This triggered a gasp from somewhere near you. You didn't pay attention, too focused on the strange sight of a large bandaged wound on your belly.
“Stray! You're awake! You're finally awake...” The voice came from above, you could recognize the soft yet shaky tone of Hyrule.
Yet the body which wrapped around your shoulders carefully, and clearly as gently as possible, were definitely from Sky.
“We thought we wouldn't be able to…” Sky swallowed some of his shaky words, trying to spare you from listening to his rambling and sobbing at the same time.
Hyrule grabbed your hand on the bed, opposite to Sky's side.
“You're even worse than Twilight in the “no response to potions or enchantments” aspect…” He gave you a weak smile, now you could guess why it took you so long to wake up.
They had to resort to different methods to try and keep you alive.
You made a face and nodded slowly, also leaning a bit more into Sky now that you weren’t that surprised anymore.
It took less than about 2 minutes for the rest of the group to come back to see you, which was quite curious for you, considering there weren't any messages exchanged through anyone — Sky and Hyrule refused to leave your side, and nobody else was around — and they were all the way out of camp and into a village's market.
Guess you'd never know how they found out.
Your recovery took far longer to finish than Twilight's, considering you had no previous strength built against the black stuff, so you just spent your time sitting around or being carried.
The fact you were, in fact, able to walk, was just another reason for that extreme boredom.
And you weren't even carried to many places! Just around camp!
To say you were itching to touch the grass with your actual flesh and feel the thrill of seeing new things again would be an absolute misunderstanding.
And of course you wanted to bound to the first available place you could the very moment you were released from your inability to carry yourself around.
Did you, though? No, not really.
“I'm gonna check out that pond.” You yawned with serotonin coursing through your veins. The same restless feeling you always got when you saw the beach, despite having seen it many times.
It was around the fourth or fifth time you asked to go check out something. The answer was always the same.
This time you felt completely healed though, so you were hopeful!
“And get attacked by that bokoblin?” Legend crossed his arm with a deep frown, he was always frowning, but that frown just seemed more deeper than the others you've seen before.
“What bokoblin?” It confused you, the pond was absolutely empty when it came to any live beings, though maybe not if you counted the greenery and a few fish.
“There could be one. You didn't see the skulltula last time, did you?”
Well that made you frown. It hit you directly where it hurt.
And now you were unsure about venturing that way.
You nodded, slowly.
“I'll get Warriors to go with you, if you want, once he's back from the planning with Time and Twilight. For now, let's just do some crocheting?”
You always tried to convince him you could go alone.
This time, you voiced no opinion.

Aaaa…hmmm
Ah yes I read that~
Four would be both bewildered and captivated by the fact that his best work can’t withstand Reader’s sheer strength. (Also most likely devastated that there is another person other than Wild who destroys weapons)
After watching them break or dent a weapon that took him days to make, he’s immediately on a mission to craft something that can keep up with them.
If given the opportunity, he’d spend hours, maybe even days, experimenting with Hylian metals, Goron ores, and enchanted gemstones, all in an attempt to create a weapon worthy of their power.
Each weapon he hands them is tested rigorously, and each failure only motivates him further. (Cause if it can handle their strength, than Wild can finally have one that won’t break.)
Each of Four’s colors has an opinion on the project too!
Green tries to focus on durability, while Blue insists they need harder materials.
Red wants to add enchantments for safety, and Vio is all about elegance and versatility.
They even argue over who’ll be the one to present Reader with the final weapon (whenever they feel it’s perfect.)
Compared to Hylians, I think along with strength and durability, Reader would have sharper senses, especially smell and sight. (Well sharp for a Hylian, pretty normal for humans)
They could detect subtle hints of smoke, monster musk, or even a change in the wind long before the others notice anything.
The group quickly learn to rely on them, amazed that they can smell monsters at a distance far in advance. (This is good if Reader isn’t one to fight but feels the need to still contribute in some way to the group.)
Their heightened smell would definitely be both a blessing and a curse. While it helps detect enemy movements, strong scents like Goron Spice can be overwhelming. Reader often comments on how powerful some Hylian food and potions smell, much to the Chain’s amusement.
Many monsters would find Reader intimidating. While some enemies are too mindless to notice their differences, others sense Reader’s uncanny strength and primal aura.
Think about it! Strong, intimidating monsters like Hinoxes and Lynels would seem to respect them in a strange way, viewing them as strong enough to leave them alone (not strong enough to beat them but just strong enough that Reader could pass through their territory without anything other than being eyed by the beasts.)
Stalfos and other undead creatures could be particularly wary; maybe they almost sense that Reader’s bones are different, somehow denser and harder to break, and they find Reader’s resilience unsettling. (But in general Stalfos and undead don’t really think so they probably are part of the mindless pile)
But if they did think, they’d most likely be frightened by Reader. Seeing Reader throw one of their own in a moment of frustration or lift a broken weapon sends them into a panic. (But probably not)
Time would both irritated and fascinated when (y/n) steps in to protect him. It messes with his self-assigned role as the group’s guardian, and he’s unused to the idea of someone else shielding him.
Initially, he tries to brush it off or even scold Reader for stepping in, but when he realizes how capable they are, he probably feels a strange sense of amazement(and a little embarrassment).
Over time, he probably grows to trust their strength and finds himself relying on them almost reluctantly, (but quietly respecting them for it.)
Warriors at first, would be annoyed when (y/n) jumps in to protect him.
He’s used to being the captain and doesn’t want Reader risking themselves on his behalf.
But after seeing their strength in action, he’s deeply impressed (and a little possessive). He’s soon insisting they train together, hoping he can learn from their unique approach to combat and maybe teach them some of his own techniques. (That depends on if Readee uses a sword of any weapons Warriors is familiar with)
He views them as a powerful asset to the team, and while he admires their independence, he can’t help but feel a little territorial when Reader fights for him. (As he should.)
Wind is completely in awe of Readsr, seeing them as a heroic figure straight out of a legend.
He loves to hear their stories of Earth and insists they teach him to swim against strong currents. (Maybe he’ll finally last longer than several moments)
Reader’s strength make him want to be better, and he’s soon clinging to them for advice and guidance on everything from combat to survival. He’d bring her little souvenirs he finds, hoping to impress her.
But he DOES get a bit envious of their strength. Wind does occasionally feel like the little brother of the group, can get a little insecure them her handle monsters with ease. He’ll go out of his way to show off in front of them, trying to prove he’s just as tough, even if he sometimes bites off more than he can chew.
Hyrule would be fascinated by their physical resilience, and he’s constantly asking questions about human culture, Reader’s world’s monsters, and even their sense of smell. He’s especially amazed by what types of food they eat that he knows would make him deathly ill, and that always leaves him reeling.
Whenever they’re around, he’s watching her intently, absorbing every detail he can to better understand her.
Despite their strength, Hyrule can’t help but feel a deep protectiveness for them. He sees their slower healing as a vulnerability and insists on caring for their wounds and ailments whenever they appear.
He views it as his personal responsibility to make sure Reader’s safe, even though they can obviously handle themselves.
Wild is both amazed and a little intimidated by them (mark him down as scared and horny). He’s never met anyone who could eat the wildest Hyrule dishes without complaint, and he admires their adventurous spirit. They form an immediate bond, exchanging survival techniques and constantly pushing each other to new limits.
The two of them often find themselves in playful competitions, seeing who can handle the spiciest foods, carry the heaviest pack, or endure the most extreme conditions. (Reader tends to Win the strength contests)
Wild sees them as a kindred spirit, though he’s always secretly hoping to impress them.
Legend is equal parts fascinated and annoyed by their strength. He’s used to being the seasoned hero, and watching them take on monsters with brute force is both impressive and a little insulting. Still, he’s curious about Reader, even if he’d never admit it.
Though he’d roll his eyes at their antics, Legend keeps a close eye on them, never quite able to shake the sense that they’re different.
If Reader picks Twilight up, whether in Hylian or wolf form. He’d freeze, mortified and embarrassed by the gesture, but over time, he becomes completely enamored with the way they so casually carries for him (he’s used to carrying, not being carried and he’s learning why people like it so much), and he finds himself eager for their attention, even if he’d never admit it.
Twilight can’t shake his instincts to shield them from harm though. He’s constantly watching their back and getting defensive when others approach Reader, feeling deeply possessive over them.
Sky wouod be enchanted by Reader from the beginning. Their strength and resilience remind him of a knight’s bravery, and he respects Reader to the point of awe sometimes.
He’s constantly seeking reasons to spar or train with them, trying to absorb as much of their human technique as he can. Definitely asks them to nap with him, definitely loves when Reader picks him up and carries him when he’s still sleeping.)
Sky would be deeply curious about Reader’s world’s monsters, (or lack of) and he’d always be asking questions about Earth.

The best way to stop a fight internally in the group is at readers hand, imagine a clash of opinions very loudly between two links and reader just… “ok, Ok! Let’s agreed to disagreed in this one, you’re are all Babigirls so stop this Now” and just like that…. Both man just stop working. one time with twilight and sky you call them ‘malewife’ and just… two hours of both suffering a Error 404, two weeks later they are “sorry I gutted that thief that try kidnapping you… I’m still your malewife ?? 🥺🥺”
wind is having his best life there teasing his big brothers there.

Imagine polyamorous Malon and Time with reader. Reader had been friends with them both since they were young. You always had a crush on Time, but realized Malon did too. Perhaps you harbored some non-platonic feelings for Malon. You never allowed them to flourish because both of them seemed like soulmates. Little did you know that, as they became a couple, they wanted you to join in as well.
They had both stalked you since you were kids. That's when Time and Malon really bonded. They became lovers, and their hearts still ached for you to be theirs as well. Their mutual obsession caused them to miss your feelings for them as plain as day. They kept putting off marriage because they wanted you to love them.
Eventually, your feelings came out, not because you told them but because they read your journal.
"Link, they love us."
"This is perfect. The three of us can be a happy family."
They approached you with the idea, and your fate is sealed. They baby you; you are their little house spouse. They love each other and you more than the entirety of Hyrule. They would lay down their lives for you. So they make sure you don't leave the house. They don't allow you to do any hard labor. If you are even feeling the slightest bit off, then you must rest all day and allow them to cuddle you.
They are mostly respectful of your boundaries. The only time they cross them is if you try to escape or injure yourself.
(afab) They both want you to carry a baby. Malon wants to be pregnant, but she'll let Time impregnate you first. She doesn't want to be pregnant at the same time as you because then she wouldn't be able to give you all of her attention. Her body would be so busy creating life that she'd be neglecting you. Both she and Time just want to dote on you. You'd look so precious with a swollen belly full of babes that all three of you would raise together.
(amab) Malon and Time want you to be the one to give Malon her first child. Time does call dibs on the second one, though. They chuckle and tell you that they have been planning this for a very long time. Malon would just be over the moon to have a mix of her and you in her womb. She just wants to hold the baby in her arms and coo about how much it already has your personality and features. She'd be even more honored if you took care of her while she was pregnant. You would do that for your wife, right? If you aren't very skilled with it, it's okay. Time is right there alongside you. He's learning how to take care of a pregnant woman as well. If you do your best, then both will reward you for it.
(infertile) Adoption... kidnapping a child is what they'll do. Anything to keep you tied down to them. So many children need a good home; they'll make sure you have one of your own, blood or not.
Escape? No, no, no, no, no, no, no. They will not allow it. Both realize that Time is better equipped to track you if you escape than Malon. If you escape and Malon can't find you, then Time will always be there to drag you back to Lon Lon Ranch, where you belong. He'll stop the entire Chain just to get you back.
They just love you so much. ♡
