Yakumo Tatsuro, the daughter of Dr. Daigo Tatsuro, the man who helped create the Enterran race, was only a five year old child when placed into the robotic creature, Hakuba, for her own safety. The capsule she lived in was only supposed to sustain her in a sleep for fifty years, but malfunctioned and allotted her to live for over five hundred. When she awoke, she was the last human on Enterra as a seventeen year old girl, entrusted with the quest to find Shinzo, the very last sanctuary for humans in a time when the rest had been killed off by Enterrans.

At first, she was alone and only knew to travel to the West, but then encountered three Enterrans that became her best friends: Mushra, Sago, and Kutal. The four of them, accompanied by her robotic steed of sorts, Hakuba, searched out Shinzo, and in doing so, awakened the power within Yakumo that she had absorbed as a child from a gem from a metorite that held the entity Lanacuras (Planet Consumer and reason for humanity’s extinction).

Discovering her telepathic powers, Yakumo refused to use them for violence, abhorring the thought of doing so, until the day came when the Enterran who had killed her race came from the past (with the help of seven Enterran Generals whom had helped destroy humanity in the first place) and tried to kill friends and destroy the world once more. The Demon Mushrambo was born into the world, seeking to kill off the last human. This was the only time when she used her powers against him, and in his defeat, the timeline was reset, and the human race returned, as if it had never left.

In this new timeline, Yakumo had more control over her powers, able to create powerful shields and used her gifts to hold back Lanacuras, who now poised to rise up now that humanity restored. Yakumo eventually sacrificed herself to weaken the dark being and her death paved the way for her friends to defeat him. Her power was lent to them from beyond her death, and although the ultimate Enterran warrior, her knight, Mushrambo, had been defeated, Mushra, her closest friend and protector, rose up and unlocked his once godly powers which allowed the defeat of the Planet Eater and called for peace across Enterra. However, in doing so, it had caused a piece of the sun to spurt off, and in one final act, Mushra took the fallen Lanancuras to stop it. In doing so, he sacrificed himself, but not before Yakumo visited in spirit to him, telling him that she had finally found Shinzo. With him, she ascended to the heavenly place of Shinzo and reunited with her family in death.

Mushra, however, was returned to Enterra, picking up a Guardian Card, and left to travel the world in search of his friends, while Yakumo’s spirit rested in the afterlife.

She thought she would be able to be happy in this paradise, but when Mushra was returned to Enterra, the after life seemed as if something was missing that Yakumo could not put her finger on. The days seemed to draw on, and the girl could not find solace in her paradise. This was noticed by the Guardians who watched over Shinzo.

The Celestial Beings, guardians of the universe, found Yakumo’s bravery to be commendable in life and in deserving of reward. Due to her life within a capsule, they knew her short, human life had not been fulfilled, and could foresee the need for her again. Sensing these and her desires, they created her a body in her own image on Enterra and returned her soul back to the form, causing her to come back to life. However, it came at a price: Her memories became scattered, she losing many of the visions of her past to the void of space. She can only remember glimpses, such as her friends, and also recalls events from both timelines. If she tries to remember too much at once, she will feel faint and may black out, erasing the memories she obtained.

The Celestial Beings were kind when they realized their inability to help her more. They gave Yakumo a task to remember: To find Shinzo. In doing so, she could find the key to unlocking her mind.

Since her reawakening, Yakumo has begun traveling across Enterra with to seek out her other friends and her memories along the road to Shinzo. However, it seems that the power from one of the cards, the Time Witch Rusephine, has permeated through the world since her destruction. Now, Yakumo and her friends tend to find themselves sucked through various portals in time, granting them the chance to make new bonds and friendships throughout the world.

I have four ‘main’ verses to play on. When interacting with Yakumo, characters will be placed into one of these verses.

Verse One: Main Verse/Shinzo Verse. Set of the blog for asks, and any occurrences with characters within the world of Shinzo. Yakumo regains her memories with time and interactions with people within the world of Shinzo. (Tag: V1; We’re going to Shinzo!)

Verse Two: Second Verse/Beckon Verse (Because people are ‘beckoned’ to the world of Shinzo). This is the verse encounters those who come to the world of Shinzo (Enterra) from external universes. In this verse, as Yakumo slowly realizes her powers, she regains memories. (Tag: V2; Welcome to Enterra!)

Verse Three: Third Verse/Portal Verse (Because she goes through portals to other worlds). This is a verse is one in which Yakumo is transported to a different time/universe through the means of time/space portals created by an Enterran General, Rusphine. This is used for anyone she meets outside the Shinzo world. Memories are regained as she realizes more of her powers while in the other world.(Tag: V3; Where’s West?)

Verse Four: Fourth Verse/Memories Verse. This a verse for a Yakumo who has all of her memories and never lost them on her return to Enterra. This verse can mix into any of the other verses, but is only available by request. This Yakumo is vastly different than the one normal encountered on the blog and has full control of her power. (Tag: V4; Guardian Soul)

I know that is... a lot of muses, but I had been wanting to add these for quite a while. There are still a lot more changes to come to the blog, as I need to update a lot of the character bio pages, but now that I have these muses all added, I can start to work on those. Chapter 32:

So Pai's getting a MRI done as another doctor asks Steve what the hell she is. Steve says that him and his people have no time to get involved with science. Ironically enough, he and Yakumo are there to discover the root of Pai's amnesia, which the doctor says is caused by the rhombus on her forehead. To sum things up, it's a weird bio-chip with roots in her head that's sending out a weird signal. So if they take it out, she'll recover her memories, right? Not so fast: The good doctor says that if they find the location of the stop signal, they can take out the rhombus. However, remove it before then and it'll make restoring her memory impossible.

So they need a spell or holy water or some super sonic wave...but they have no real leads on the cure. All they can do is find Pai's homeland. And, as Steve points out, restoring Pai's memory has nothing to do with their ultimate goal...so Yakumo needs to stop thinking with his dick. Basically, even if she gets her memory back, it doesn't guarantee she'll get back together with him. Yakumo accepts this and is ready to go...and Pai walks up, thanking Steve for helping her. Yakumo goes off, asking Pai if she wants some juice. Pai responds accordingly:

Steve invites her to a cake place and she agrees. Yakumo asks to go but Steve says he'll be too busy with flight preparations so just leave everything to him. He remembers how excited she was to go with him to China and wonders what the fuck her problem is. He throws his can of soda in frustration...hitting a cow that headbutts him into the horizon.

At the cake shop, Pai asks Steve why everyone's so cooperative with her. Steve says triclops have a certain appeal but then he changes the subject, asking her to understand Yakumo. He says Yakumo's a Wu but, at the same time, still a regular person. He doesn't want her to go to China because he spent four years honing himself into a real warrior and he can sense real danger. The closer they get to her homeland, the more monsters that will attack them. He's worried about her. Steve asks Pai if she likes him. Pai answers that she hates his ass.

Steve helpfully relates this information to Yakumo at the airport, and adds she can't understand how he thinks. Yakumo calls her a bitch and Steve says just to leave her to him. Yakumo leaves in a huff, still determined to leave her. The plane takes off with him on it...and Pai sitting next to him.

Of all the deadliest species in all of the land of gensokyo, none as more carnivorous and constantly evolving as the harvest. They are the VERY first Koishisaurs that're born from the primordial hearth into a hive mind ruled by the harvest queen. These Koishisaurs are the ancestors of the Yukarisaurus Rex and the Koishi raptors. Abominations that are the amalgamation of Tyrannosaurus rex, the utahraptor, but also mixed with such an odd insect not known to any insect species due to their odd chitin carapaces, however what is horrifying is that they're DNA are not only of Yoshika, Rumia, Yuyuko, and Seiga Kaku but they posessed the DNA of all four beings Koishi Komeiji, Yukari Yakumo, Satori Komeiji and the Watatsuki sisters thus becoming the most dangerous ancient Koishisaurs of the apocalyptic dead gensokyo. They are the ultimate predators, the super organisms that ultimately dedicated solely to serve the queen, for their survival, and propagation and evolutionary advancement. The harvest systematically consume all other biomatter to continue and enable their rapid evolution and reproduction. The name was given the name by the forces of hell and the lunarians that had waged against these ancient super predators because of how they consume and devour anything in their path absorbing their bio mass. These creatures were thought to be mindless animals and killing machines but that isn't true, they're very intelligent beings and they established their civilization in the subterranean regions of gensokyo and they continued to reproduce more ancient NCOs, harvest species to grow and thrive in their civilization developing military, culture, and religion known as the sanctum of the No One's Rose. They considered themselves to be the real children of Koishi Yakumo as the race have worshipped Koishi Yakumo and the original Yukari Yakumo as their deities this is the sole reason many years ago on why they waged war to both the lunarians and the forces for revenge of Gensokyo's horrible demise. The harvest possessed the abilities of manipulating subconscious, read minds, manipulating boundaries, even death and so much more. Everytime they eat the bio mass and devouring other organisms they gain the knowledge and history from their prey which made them all the more horrific.

The harvest's homeworld is down bellow all of gensokyo called the stained roses. The stained roses is an is an underground world full of cities under the surface of gensokyo within the myouren cemetery that is home to indigenous, subterranean creatures as well as the harvest. The creatures and the wild life within gensokyo are just as, if not, all the more horrifying than the harvest and the subterranean world itself is a much more dark and twisted replication of gensokyo as ruled by the queens of the hive. The harvest language is they while they speak perfect English they all mainly speak traditional chinese and korean.

Within the harvest hivemind there are plenty of species that can tear you all apart and eat your bio mass for consumption these beings are the most noticeable and are as deadly as the others.

The first ancient harvest abomination is the killer hogs. They're pack creatures of the harvest hive minds, and will not hesitate to surround you and swarm you as they gnash your flesh and shoot you with their bio flesh weaponry.

When things got out of hands the queen had decided for her children to advanced and so the matriarchs are born, the Matriarchs are the sheer muscle and bulk of the harvest hive and act as the big sisters of the hive and they're standing roughly 10 feet tall larger and bulkier than just your average harvest warrior, they possese large quils and the same long, razor-edged claw scythes as the warriors but their bodies and chitin skin are much more bulkier and strong enough to withstand heavily arm forces especially against black magic.

Hive without a queen is no hive at all and a queen without warriors is no queen at all as the harvest warriors are ready for combat and tear you to shreds. They're the foot soldiers, standing about eight foot tall and are stronger than your average jiangshi, they are the back bone of the harvest hive. The talisms on their head aren't talisms they're actuly apart of their bodies basically an odd form of crest. They posesses clawed scythes on the back of their shoulders just as the tall matriarchs.

In order for the hive to continue on fighting the queen had a perfect yet dark solution to her hive, she created both a butcher, a priest, and the healers this is the horror of the tall alluring abominations called Dominatrix.

They're arguably the most horrifying species and one of the most reliable of the hive for the dominatrix posesses deadly flesh whips to tear the enemy to ribbons and snatching them for harvesting. The dominatrix have the very odd appearance of the much more older EX Rumia, they heal their own species with regenerative spores flowing through their bodies enhancing them and giving them more strength, resilience, and extra regenerative healing for the horde to keep on killing.

Amongst the hive the queen of the harvest is all and all obey her every whim, The Queen is EVERYTHING to the hive whatever she says they listen and will carry out blindly to do what she saids and will stop at nothing until she or her children will succeed in winning and hiw she reproduce is by asexually laying eggs or by spreading these harvest spores not only creating walls of biomass to make eggs but also laying eggs within the walls of bio mass as well.

The most horrifying thought is that all of the land of gensokyo are surrounded by billions of the harvest underground as the tainted Rose homeworld is a twisted copy of the land of gensokyo, as they continue to evolve and rapidly reproduce more new species of the harvest and harvest like neo complex organisms it's only a matter of time before they will be reawaken years later and waged war in gensokyo devouring everything again like they had done with the forces of hell so many years ago but as of the future of 2034 the harvest have changed and as of now the hive and the queen wishes to be left alone as they have enough from the war back in 2021 despite the demons driven back into hell and the lunarians, their greatest enemy still live and coexist with yokai and humanity they all wish to be left alone thriving in their society and tending to their religion. If there ever was a day the harvest resurfaced back into the land of gensokyo to either waged war or to explore the new world of gensokyo theres habe to be a reason for it but for now peace is all they need for they all have the No One's Rose's love to guide them all through their dark times.

Shouwa Genroku Rakugo ShinJuu:Descending stories Series Lookover.

So I know I'm kind of super late to the party on this one here. But I've just recently watched this anime show not too long ago, which is now one of mine personal top favorites anime series of all times in terms of well-done mature layered compelling storytelling. But I just want to add in while also giving my own thoughts on this who's is Shinnosuke “Baby Daddy” thing along with my other thoughts regarding the ending.

Now, I can totally understand also get why that some people or better yet a good number of some fans being seriously gross out or just plain put off from that “part” of the ending regarding the subject of Kikuhiko / Yakumo being Shinnosuke possible biological father by Eisuke. Honestly when it was brought up in conversation within the scene I really wasn't too freaked out or all that bother by it, cause for one thing this is Eisuke were talking about here, I mean the man while he isn't a awful bad character by any means ... but he is highly, super, extremely creeper noisy as hell! Even Yakumo within the manga series mentioned that he can be rude also inappropriately insensitive at times, or that he's got a real bad habit with his search for “knowledge & truth" were he sticks his nose into other people personal matters and business were he most definitely shouldn’t be. 

Especially when comes to Yakumo past for that matter. So him coming up with the theory of Yakumo being the possibility of Shinnosuke being made wasn't something I was surprise at nor was I shock at the fact that Konatsu refuses to either deny it or clam it was true or not, which I think fits perfectly within the realistic themes and elements of the story itself. For one thing Yakumo himself has kept a decade long secret of hiding the truth of how Konatsu parents were actually killed and leading mainly him to carry that heavy burden, guilt, pain, grief, shame also blame for so many years all for her sake alone . Because he would rather her hate him for the rest of her life then had her suffer similar to what he's been going through with knowing that she was basically responsible for her own beloved father / parent's death. Konatsu keeping the secret of who is Shinnosuke actual real bio father is to me her basically doing the same thing of what Yakumo did in order to protect her family & keep the peace. I also didn't think it was that controversial or messed up that she mentioned she might had a strong crush on Yakumo during her younger teens years. Which considering her already highly complex, conflicted, damaged emotions regarding Yakumo and how she felt about him growing up & such wasn't something I was too shock at upon watching the anime for the first time ever and seeing their strained contempt-fueled parental / guardian / child relationship.               

I think both the anime also the manga makes good cases here and there on Kikuhiko / Yakumo sexuality in terms of him obviously but also subtly not fully being 100% Heterosexual; its shows his lack of sexual interest towards women or the fact that Yakumo is pretty detach from his own sexuality. Showing him refusing to do anything sexual with Miyokichi or not even allowing her to touch him even though he loved her, I think his lack of interest within women could be based on his early childhood growing up and most likely being born in a geisha House probably had to do with it, also within the manga 10th volume extra chapter with Konatsu as a high schooler its pretty much makes it very obvious as well as clear as day that Yakumo was actually truly in love with Sukeroku. Also if a sexual encounter did happen between the two when Konatsu was a young adult, since she did got pregnant with Shinnosuke when she was within her early 20s, don't you think that Sukeroku would've brought it up within the Afterlife? Cause I feel he would hardly not talk about it or not bring up the fact that his super close best friend who took in his daughter and had sex with her later on & not be pissed off about that, I feel that considering how Yakumo is within the series with him holding onto so much deep-ridden guilt & blame over what happen with being unable to save both Sukeroku and Miyokichi and how internally broken he is inside. Don't you think he would feel the same way of some kind of deep guilt or awful shame for having to had sex with Sukeroku daughter who he has raised and take care of for over 10 to 20 years just cause she wanted the Sukeroku bloodline to live on & not died out.         

The fact that Matsuda still wanted to keep the truth of how Konatsu parents actually were killed and that both Yota and Eisuke never told her about it even though she might have probably already figure it out, says and adds a lot to the theme of this story . That life can be highly complex, sad, messy, sometimes fucked up, but also that there are some things within Life that are better left unknown also as well as better left unanswered.    

Whoever Shinnosuke real biological Dad is, whether its possibly maybe Kikuhiko / Yakumo or probably most likely Oyabun or some other character. I personally feel that at the end of the day it doesn't really truly matter either way, I think that Shinnosuke is basically the symbolic metaphor of three bloodlines coming together as one at the ending. That he is a lovechild of Rakugo but also a lovechild of Kikuhiko, Sukeroku, Miyokichi fused together of what maybe could've been between either one of them if not for tragic events or bad choices or just unfortunate issues. I think that the plot twist in itself adds so much more to that sense of the weird but also sometimes screwed up aspects of actual real Life regarding family secrets and familial dark history and bloodlines.   Also I feel that  "part" within the final episode shouldn't deter those of a overall well-written, well-developed, mature good storytelling anime that I've seen in a while so far.

Bio:

Born to the prestigious Tatsuro family, Yakumo was known through her formative years as the daughter of the inventor. Her father, Daigo Tatsuro, cultivated the world in robotics and genetic engineering, with neither passion having fallen onto his daughter. Rather, Yakumo yearned for a normal life and often wanted to wander, taking to escaping out during the days to spend time with those connections she could form.

However, as she graduated high school, she went to a lesser known university and obtained her degree in linguistics. Finding it difficult to obtain a job with her minimal experience and specific degree, Yakumo applied to work within a flower shop run by an older woman, offering to help her. Finding a passion for botany, Yakumo flourished within her work, staying on as a main lead for the shop.

Most of her time is spent either at home, still within Tatsuro Laboratories, or at her work, where she can care for the flowers before they are off to make someone smile. She often dreams of adventure, but cares too much for helping people around the neighborhood and the flowers that often need her care.
