Ya Allah Bring the downfall of those (modern day pharaohs) oppressors and relieve those who are deprived, burdened, oppressed, in debt.

The Day of Arafah (YOU WON'T REGRET READING THIS In Sha Allah)

We've all heard so much about Arafah and its virtues, so much so that it has almost turned out to become mere facts just being related on repeat!

*Ask yourself ⁉️*:

▪️Have I actually internalized and comprehended what Arafah is?

▪️Have I truly understood the MAGNITUDE of this magnificent Day?

▪️Am I going to let it pass like any other ordinary day?

Well, let me tell you in short why your heart should be racing so fast just at the thought of being blessed with the opportunity of witnessing this tremendous Day!

1️⃣ It is the *BEST* day the sun has ever risen or will rise upon!

2️⃣ It is the Day on which Allah perfected His religion, *completed His favors* upon us and approved for us Islam as a way of life!

3️⃣ It is the Day Allah *frees* the most number of His slaves from the Hell-Fire.

4️⃣ It is the ONLY day Allah, The Most High *descends to the lowest heaven in the day time* (a descension in a

way that befits Him, Glory be to Him)

5️⃣ It is the Day Allah *praises (shows off)*, His righteous slaves to the angels!

Ya Subhanallah! By Allah only a wretched person will let this Day go past him in a state of heedlessness!

*⭕What is the best thing I can do on this day?*

DU'AA, DU'AA and DU'AA!

Yes, that's it! The Prophet ﷺ said: *"The best dua'a is the du'aa on the Day of Arafah"*

*⭕When does this special time begin?*

Majority of the scholars say that it is from Dhuhr to Maghrib or just a little before Asr to Maghrib.

This whole time for du'aa? YES!

Do you feel a little overwhelmed? How do I start my du'aa? How do I organize it? How do I get it all right?

*⭕Here are 7 EASY points to categorize your Du'aa into*:

1️⃣ *Start by praising, and glorifying Allah*. Reach onto Him through His beautiful names. Don't rush. Praise Him till your heart feels content, for He is indeed worthy of ALL praise. Look up du'aas from the Qur'aan and authentic Sunnah on this regard.

2️⃣ *Send Salutations upon Rasoolullah ﷺ*. Again, don't rush. Take your time. Internalize what it means to send salutations upon him. Bear witness that Rasoolullah fulfilled his responsibility and passed the message (of Islam) the way it had to be.

3️⃣ *Thank Allah and show Him gratitude for ALL his blessings upon you, and seek refuge in Him from the removal of His blessings*

Take your time! Try going through each and every blessing that comes to your mind and thank Allah for it. Blessing of Islam. Blessing of health. Blessing of parents. Blessing of safety. Etc etc. Be specific! Be personal!

4️⃣ *Istighfar, Repentance*. Humble yourself in front of Allah. Own up to Him for all your sins. Beg Him to forgive you. Cry your heart out! Again take your time. Do not rush!

5️⃣ *YOUR personal time, ask Allah for ALL you want in THIS LIFE pertaining your deen and dunya*. Wealth, health, marriage, guidance, righteousness, success. Anything and everything pour it out with a heart full of conviction that Allah is listening and He knows and will answer!

6️⃣ *Al Barzakh, The AFTER LIFE*. Here you make du'aas pertaining moments before death, after death, the grave, the Day of Judgement, the Siraat, Jannah, protection from Hell-Fire Etc. Ask Allah to grant you a good ending. Ask Allah for firmness at the time of questioning. Etc.

7️⃣ *End by sending salutations upon Rasoolullah ﷺ*. Ask Allah to grant you His intercession on the Day of Judgement. Ask Allah to grant you a drink from his Houdh.

🛑Take your time through each category. Pause. Relflect. Humble yourself, breakdown in front of Allah. Show Him your weakness and surrender to Him with utmost humility.

🛑The Prophet ﷺ said:

*"خير الدعاء دعاء يوم عرفة، وخير ما قلت أنا والنبيون من قبلي لا إله إلا الله وحده لا شريك له، له الملك وله الحمد وهو على كل شيء قدير"*

"The best supplication is on the Day of Arafat and the best supplication said by me and the prophets before me: There is no God but Allah alone, He has no partner. To Allah is the dominion, and to Him is the praise and He is Capable of all things"

Special Ziyarat of Imam Hussain(as) for 15th Sha’ban

The Prophets & The Angels visit Imam Hussain (as) on this night & performing the ziyarah is one of the most meritorious acts of this night.It has been said whoever wishes to shake hands with 124000 prophets should perform this ziyarah on this night. The least one can do as a short salutation to Imam Hussain (as) is, one may go to the terrace/elevated place, look left, right & towards the sky & recite:

🍃 Write a Letter to Imam

At end of night - In closing As a final act on this night, take account for his own soul and the actions he has performed during the year. A person should sincerely and properly ponder and reflect upon his actions during this year and ask repentance for his previous acts of transgression since it is only those people whom Allah (Glorified and Exalted is He) has protected from committing sin and error who are free of this pollution. If a person sees that he has little to no sins on his record then he should compare this to one of the most insignificant blessings that Allah (Glorified and Exalted is He) has given him and weigh the two on the scales of justice that with his trivial acts of good, has he been able to repay Allah (Glorified and Exalted is He) back for all the goodness He has provided?

If he realizes that he has sins and transgressions on his record, then he must resort to Tawassul to the Ma‘sumin (blessings be upon all of them) to make up for his shortcomings.He should address the infallible ones by saying following:-

"O you who Allah has placed between Himself and His servants! O you who are the protectors of His revelation. I ask you by the position that you have that you look towards me, a sinful servant, with your eyes of mercy the one who has been lax in his worship, who possesses nothing and is nothing. Have mercy upon me and request Allah to accept me and to be pleased with me on this night and to permit me to be benefit from your prayers and supplications and to permit me to take advantage of your intercession and to be classified as your Shi‘a. In addition, ask Allah to grant me with the reward of goodness and guidance from you. Pray that He makes me of strong will and that I am successful in performing good deeds for my religion, my life here and my next life.

In closing, please accept this from myself and ask Allah that to grant me the ability to know Him, be close to Him and permit me to earn His pleasure and that He join me both in this world and the next with all of you and that I am classified as one of your followers and close friends and companions. All of this is only in His hands. May the blessings of Allah be upon all of you and whatever Allah wills will only happen and there is no power or strength save with Him."

Ya Allah...I ask you to make me pleased with what You decreed for me return to good life after death, and I earnestly seek the pleasure of looking at Your Glorious Countenance and the craving to meet you, without distress or affliction or misguiding trial. I seek refuge in You from oppressing others or being oppressed, from doing wrong or suffering wrong, and from committing an error or a sin, which you will not forgive.

Ya Allah...I seek refuge in You from the feebleness of old age. O Allah! Guide me to the best of deeds and the best of morals, as none can guide to the best except You, and save me from bad deeds, as none can save me from what is bad except You. O Allah! Strengthen my faith, expand my living space and bless me in my livelihood.

Ya Allah...I seek refuge in You from negligence, degradation and destitution; I seek refuge in You from unbelief, wickedness, vanity and show; and I seek refuge in You from blindness, deafness and leprosy and bad diseases.

Ya Allah...pls give my soul piety and my conscience purity. You are the Master of my soul and the Guardian of my conscience.

Ya Allah...I seek refuge in You from a knowledge, which does not benefit, from a heart, which does not tremble, from an ego, which is not stated, and from a supplication, which is not accepted.

Ya Allah...I seek refuge in You from the evil of what I did and from the evil of what I did not do; from the evil of what I know and from the evil of what I did not know.

Ya Allah...I seek refuge in You from a decline in Your favour, from a change in Your protection, from Your sudden punishment and all Your displeasure.

Ya Allah...I seek refuge in You from ruin and falling, from drowning and burning and from senility: I seek refuge in You from being bitten by venomous creatures. I seek refuge in You from greed, bad manners, bad actions, bad desires and bad desires. I seek refuge in You from the burden of debt, from being humbled by people and from ridicule of enemies.

Ya Allah...pls strengthen my religion, which is my fortress, make this world a better place of sojourn for me, and grant me a good life in the Hereafter which will be my abode. Make my life increase in all goodness and my death a rest from all evil.

Ya Allah...pls support me and help me, and do not let others overpower me; guide me and make the following of Your Commands easy for me.

Ya Allah...pls make me grateful to You, mindful of You, full of fear toward You, devoted to obedience of You, humble before You, earnest in supplication, and penitent. My Lord, accept my repentance, wash away my sins, answer my supplication, establish my veracity, guide me heart, make my tongue truthful, and remove all ill-feeling from my heart.

Ya Allah...I ask You for a resolute mind and firmness in following the guidance. I ask You to make me thankful for Your favour, to be good service to You, and to grant me a sound heart and a truthful tongue. I ask You to grant me what You know to be good and to give me refuge from what is evil, and to forgive me – and You are the Knower of the Unseen.

Ya Allah...pls inspire me with good conduct and save me from the evil of my selfishness. O Allah! I ask You to guide me to the doing of good deeds and abstaining from bad deeds and love those who are humble, and to forgive me and show mercy to me. And if You wish a trail for Your servants, take me to You before falling into it.

Ya Allah...I ask You for Your love and the love of those who love You, and for the love of every action which will bring me closer to Your love.

Ya Allah... I ask You the best of the request for the best in my supplication, for the best success and the best reward. Strengthen me, make heavier my balance of good, confirm my faith, elevate my rank, accept me worship, and forgive my mistakes, and I ask You for good beginnings, good endings, the totality of goodness, from the first to the last, from within and from without, and I ask of You the highest ranks in the Garden.

Ya Allah...I ask You to exalt my fame, lighten my burden, purify me heart, keep me chaste, forgive me my sins and I ask of You a high rank in the Garden.

Ya Allah...pls bless me in my sight, in my hearing, in my soul, in my body, in my conduct; bless me in my life, in my family, in my work; accept my good deeds, and I ask of You a high rank in the Garden.

Ya Allah...I seek refuge in You against difficulties, calamities, troubles, oppression and the ridicule of enemies.

Ya Allah...pls grant us increase and not decrease, honour and not dishonour; give us Your favours and do not deprive us; prefer us, let not others be preferred to us.

Ya Allah..pls grant us the best of outcomes in all our affairs, and save us from disgrace in this world and from punishment in the Hereafter.

Ya Allah...Grant us such fear of Your as will come between us and acts of disobedience to You; such obedience to You as will bring us to Your Garden; and such certainty that the calamities of this world will be made easy for us by You. Let us enjoy our hearing, our sight and our faculties as long as You grant us life, and let it be the last to be taken away from us. Avenge us from those who have wronged us and help us against our enemies. Let no calamity be fall our religion; let not worldly affairs be our greatest care or all about which we know; and Let not those who have no fear of You and who do not show mercy toward us rule over us.

Ya Allah...I ask You to bestow your mercy on me, to forgive me, to protect me from every sin, to give me a share of every good, and to grant me the attainment of the Garden and salvation from the Fire.

Ya Allah...pls leave not for us a sin, which You have not forgiven, nor a shortcoming which you have not concealed, nor a wary which You have not removed, nor a debt which You have not paid, nor a need from among the needs of this world or the Hereafter, the fulfilment of which is beneficial for us and pleasing to You, which You have not fulfilled, O Most Merciful of all show us Your Mercy!

Ya Allah...I ask for a mercy from You by which You will guide my heart, settle my affairs, remove my worries, protect me from what is unseen to me, make my face radiant, purify my deeds, inspire me with wisdom, avert calamities from me, and protect me from every evil.

Ya Allah...I ask You for success on the day of Judgement and a life of happiness, and the rank of martyrs, the companionship of the prophets, and victory over the enemies.

Ya Allah...I ask You for correctness of belief; for a faith which leads to good conduct; for a success which results in eternal felicity, for mercy, health and forgiveness from You, and for your pleasure.

Ya Allah...I ask You for health, for integrity, for good character, and that I may be pleased with my portion.

Ya Allah...I seek refuge in You from the evil of my self, and from the evil of every creature which You are grasping by its forelock. O my Lord, keep me on the straight path.

Ya Allah...You hear my words, You behold my situation, You know what is open and what is hidden within me; nothing is hidden from You. It is me alone who is in need, a humble seeker of Your forgiveness. I beseech You with humility in my heart, with trembling and fear, in prostration and utter helplessness.

Ya Allah..pls grant me soundness of belief, goodness of character, forgiveness of my sins, and Your eternal pleasure in the Hereafter.

"Perfectly Formed." Introduction to Surah 19, Surah Maryam, "The Mother of the Dawn."

This Surah has 98 verses divided into 6 Rukus/Sections. This Surah was revealed in Mecca almost six to seven years before Prophet Muhammad’s migration to Yathrib (Madina). This was the time when the opposition of Meccans turned from verbal accusations and abuse to physical and socio-economic torture and bans. This is the time when many Muslims migrated to nearby country of Abyssinia.

Today's context is not much different than the one before. The US Government is refusing to dissolve the Republican Party or put an end to the possibility Donald Trump or those like him will be allowed to cause harm to the world on the basis of its false dogmas. Clarification of the correct messages the world needs to hear during this deeply troubling time in human history is why we are reading the Quran in this forum.

Members of the United States Government have begun a new intifada against Jews and Muslims on global scale in order to unseat civilization. Those terror tunnels that have cored Israel and other locations are of American origin. Of this there is no doubt. So long as the Quran remains a dirty secret, persons and governments like Donald Trump, Hamas, Hezbollah, and the Islamic Republics will be able to oppress their people and meddle in world affairs right under their feet. The truth of God obviously must exist in three hundred and sixty degrees.

The human race is depending on persons who believe the angel Jibril, "the reality checker" visited Muhammad of the Quraysh with a series of verses designed to rescue humanity from itself to stand up for the truth of their faith. Abuse of Muslims must be curbed, and the issues where they are meant to live must be resolved.

The international community has been too confused about this because of the efforts made by the United States Government to alienate them. Octover 7, perpretrated by masterminds in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and Donald Trump are the lastest examples. There must not be war in Israel or Iran because of this, there must unity around the core beliefs of the Mosque instead.

Thus begins the Surah; a tale of another revelation by the god Jibril to the human race for the sake of its lasting happiness. The Surah opens with a banner called a Fatihah:

19:1-22:

Kãf-Ha-Ya-’Aĩn- Ṣãd. "A spoonful of food."

˹This is˺ a reminder of your Lord’s mercy to His servant Zachariah,

when he cried out to his Lord privately,

saying, “My Lord! Surely my bones have become brittle, and grey hair has spread across my head, but I have never been disappointed in my prayer to You, my Lord!

And I am concerned about ˹the faith of˺ my relatives after me, since my wife is barren. So grant me, by Your grace, an heir,

who will inherit ˹prophethood˺ from me and the family of Jacob, and make him, O  Lord, pleasing ˹to You˺!”

˹The angels announced,˺ “O Zachariah! Indeed, We give you the good news of ˹the birth of˺ a son, whose name will be John—a name We have not given to anyone before.”

He wondered, “My Lord! How can I have a son when my wife is barren, and I have become extremely old?”

An angel replied, “So will it be! Your Lord says, ‘It is easy for Me, just as I created you before, when you were nothing!’”

Zachariah said, “My Lord! Grant me a sign.” He responded, “Your sign is that you will not ˹be able to˺ speak to people for three nights, despite being healthy.”

So he came out to his people from the sanctuary, signalling to them to glorify ˹Allah˺ morning and evening.

˹It was later said,˺ “O John! Hold firmly to the Scriptures.” And We granted him wisdom while ˹he was still˺ a child, as well as purity and compassion from Us. And he was God-fearing, and kind to his parents. He was neither arrogant nor disobedient.

Peace be upon him the day he was born, and the day of his death, and the day he will be raised back to life!

And mention in the Book ˹O Prophet, the story of˺ Mary when she withdrew from her family to a place in the east, screening herself off from them. Then We sent to her Our angel, ˹Gabriel,˺ appearing before her as a man, perfectly formed.

She appealed, “I truly seek refuge in the Most Compassionate from you! ˹So leave me alone˺ if you are God-fearing.”

He responded, “I am only a messenger from your Lord, ˹sent˺ to bless you with a pure son.”

She wondered, “How can I have a son when no man has ever touched me, nor am I unchaste?”

He replied, “So will it be! Your Lord says, ‘It is easy for Me. And so will We make him a sign for humanity and a mercy from Us.’ It is a matter ˹already˺ decreed.”

So she conceived him and withdrew with him to a remote place."

Commentary:

After Kahf, which I said must result in "equipoise" towards all that happens inside and outside the mind, Allah tells Muhammad through the angel of the reality check, Jibril also called Gabriel, that the fruits of the actions of the Kahf must be made into a way of life. He chooses the story of Mary and the Immaculate Conception to illustrate how equilibrium, social equity and uprisings against the proud and the vile are vital matters of mercy for the world.

His name was called Isha. He was the product of the mating interactions of the heavenly host "perfectly made" and the womb of Mary, who gave the world a great blessing because God asked her and without asking for anything in return.

The world must feel to us as it did to Zechariah, who did not think it could change. We must all think by now, this is it, ruthless, insecure, weird criminals are going to subsume the world and there is no way out. If we look at the meaning of Zechariah, we might find we can are able to purchase a glimmer of hope:

"The verb זכר (zakar) means to remember, to deliberately review, or to cause to remember or review — by means of public oration, urging and pleading, physical memorials, and so on.

Noun זכר (zeker) means remembrance, memory, memorial or invocation. Noun זכרון (zikkaron) or זכרן (zikkaron) denotes a memorial or token — a memorial day, altar-plates, stones, crowns, books, proof of citizenship, even spoils of war. Noun אזכרה ('azkara) refers to a memorial-offering.

Noun זכור (zakur) and noun and adjective זכר (zakar) mean male. This noun denotes the male of humans and animals, and marvelously illustrates the parallel between sexual reproduction and the learning process, which is so overly prevalent in the Bible."

It's hardly Christmas time but we can still remember why God sent Himself to us in the form of Isha. We are on the cusp of trying to crown psychopaths and put them in charge of the Sacred District of Israel and this is not its destiny.

Israel is the gate to heaven, it is where our modern lives took their first footsteps. We are faltering to place our feet in them within this generation. But the Surah says "hold fast to the scripture, be compassionate, do not be arrogant" and life on earth will be one day be raised up.

Every possible effort to end the threats of the Republican Party and the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and bring peace to all Israel including everywhere Muslims dwell, but espcially in the Holy Land, where this sacred story began.

Ya Allah...pls make me grateful to You, mindful of You, full of fear toward You, devoted to obedience of You, humble before You, earnest in supplication, and penitent. Ya Allah...I ask You for a resolute mind and firmness in following the guidance. Strengthen me, make heavier my balance of good, confirm my faith, elevate my rank, accept me worship, and forgive my mistakes, and I ask You for good beginnings, good endings, the totality of goodness, from the first to the last, from within and from without, and I ask of You the highest ranks in the Garden.

Ya Allah..pls grant us the best of outcomes in all our affairs, and save us from disgrace in this world and from punishment in the Hereafter.

Ya Allah...Grant us such fear of Your as will come between us and acts of disobedience to You; such obedience to You as will bring us to Your Garden; and such certainty that the calamities of this world will be made easy for us by You. Let us enjoy our hearing, our sight and our faculties as long as You grant us life, and let it be the last to be taken away from us. Avenge us from those who have wronged us and help us against our enemies. Let no calamity be fall our religion; let not worldly affairs be our greatest care or all about which we know; and Let not those who have no fear of You and who do not show mercy toward us rule over us.

Ya Allah...I ask You to bestow your mercy on me, to forgive me, to protect me from every sin, to give me a share of every good, and to grant me the attainment of the Garden and salvation from the Fire.

Ya Allah...pls leave not for us a sin, which You have not forgiven, nor a shortcoming which you have not concealed, nor a wary which You have not removed, nor a debt which You have not paid, nor a need from among the needs of this world or the Hereafter, the fulfilment of which is beneficial for us and pleasing to You, which You have not fulfilled, O Most Merciful of all show us Your Mercy!

Ya Allah...I ask for a mercy from You by which You will guide my heart, settle my affairs, remove my worries, protect me from what is unseen to me, make my face radiant, purify my deeds, inspire me with wisdom, avert calamities from me, and protect me from every evil.

Ya Allah...I ask You for success on the day of Judgement and a life of happiness, and the rank of martyrs, the companionship of the prophets, and victory over the enemies.

Ya Allah...I ask You for correctness of belief; for a faith which leads to good conduct; for a success which results in eternal felicity, for mercy, health and forgiveness from You, and for your pleasure.

Ya Allah...I ask You for health, for integrity, for good character, and that I may be pleased with my portion.

Ya Allah...I seek refuge in You from the evil of my self, and from the evil of every creature which You are grasping by its forelock. O my Lord, keep me on the straight path.

Ya Allah...You hear my words, You behold my situation, You know what is open and what is hidden within me; nothing is hidden from You. It is me alone who is in need, a humble seeker of Your forgiveness. I beseech You with humility in my heart, with trembling and fear, in prostration and utter helplessness.

Ya Allah..pls grant me soundness of belief, goodness of character, forgiveness of my sins, and Your eternal pleasure in the Hereafter.

Day 1: Ya Allah...I am not worthy of you. I certainly do not deserve your love, care, forgiveness, mercy. Not even do I deserve your blessings, Ya Allah. I am not sane, ya Allah. I never have been sane. I tried my very best to live in my reality;my own life and have a life, a REAL life.. but its always failing. Everything fails and I know it's your test for me. I know everything. I just want to disappear from myself, this body, and this life Ya Allah. Who would even love a soul like me, Ya Rabb? A soul that is broken? An insane soul? A big sinner? A person who talks to themselves? Ya Allah I am going insane day by day and before I do something more insane, I want to LEAVE. Ya Allah I want to leave I want to disappear. I don't want to be here. I disappoint you each time Ya Allah. You have helped me too much Ya Allah I don't want to leave my burden to you any longer. I am tired Ya Rabb.. tired. Too tired. I need to go, I need to go out of this world. It is okay if I will be put in Jahannam and taste the hellfire, and all of your punishment because I left this worldly life. it's okay if the angel of death will take my soul away angrily, violently without mercy. I accept it Ya Rabb. I accept your punishment, for I do not deserve anything good from you, from any of your creations. I am nothing ya Allah.

Ya Allah I am lonely. I am lonely Ya Allah. I have family but I am still lonely. I feel like I want to run back to you each time i become insane, but I can't! Because I don't deserve you, so do you! I don't deserve a merciful, bountiful, perfect, unique Lord like you Ya Rabb. And you don't deserve a servant like me! A servant whom is crazy in the head, in the soul, in the heart. A servant who will never impress you. A servant who will always be unworthy and useless.

What will my family say.. they would not like to know that I am crazy. Sick in the head, Ya Allah. What will you think? If I kill myself by jumping down from the window of my room? O Allah I have everything planned. I don't need help from people. I want you. I need you. But I can't get my feet up to get to you. I can't convince this soul and this heart to go back to you like it used to. I miss all the times I had with you; talking heart to heart, prostrating to you, holding your holy book of Quran and reciting it with an honest and full heart.. Wallahi.. I miss appreciating you and making Dua to you and going closer to you each day.

But those days have ended Ya Rabb. I am dying each day. A piece of me is dying each day. And no one is behind the reason. It is me. I am at the edge of a cliff, don't know where else to go except dying and leaving this world; a one way trip to Jahannam indeed. I know you would not like it. And when the day that I am ready to jump. I will dress in my favourite abaya and jilbab. I will hold the hand of my imaginary self that I always talk to, and bring her with me. I will die of a painful death as my body hit the ground of my apartment 15th floor apartment. I know you will disown me. Put me in Jahannam, send the angel of death to violently take my soul and leave no mercy. And I will never taste Jannah to meet you, Ya Rabb and our beloved Prophet Muhammad in Jannah. I will never get reunited with my dead loved ones in Jannah. All of them died a peaceful death. And they will wonder why am I not with them in Paradise? And you (Allah) will say of whatever that I did that made you grant me Jahannam which is my resting place.

Ya Allah. Forgive me. And trust me that I love you with all my heart but I cannot. I don't know if I will ever be back in your arms, be back as the servant that you loved. I don't know, too if I will ever pull this decision away and run to you. But if I did, I would be proud of myself.

Salaam! So I’m in that phase of life where parents die, I mean we are getting old and so are they, many of my friends lost their fathers in the past years, recently one lost a mother, and it’s like I’m holding their grief with my hands and crying for their loss all while dreading the idea of losing my mother, I don’t know how to be there for them without being a pain in the head, like I don’t know what’s the right thing to say or do, and I sleep and wake anxious about death visiting my parents 1

Assalamualaikum sister :)

First of all, I apologize for the late reply. This wasn't an easy ask, sübhanallah, it was very heavy and it needed for me to take it slow and check with my sisters. Kheir in shaa Allah.

There is one dominant thought that accompanied me the whole time I was reading your words: you need to change your perspective on death. Now, let me explain.

I know that we have been taught this religion from a perspective of fear, and death is supposedly the most horrifying thing ever, and then there is the moment the soul leaves the body, the pain of that, or what they call (سكرات الموت), the torment of the grave and then hellfire and whatnot. And the more we get blinded by the love of this duniya and of the material things, the more we are scared to leave, the more we are petrified with the idea of death. And that is why we cry so hard in funerals, and that is why death is depressing. It is always related to negative connotations.

Whereas, here is the thing: Death is the only solid truth about this world. It is the only one undeniable undoubted fact that all religions, all philosophies, all schools of thoughts agree upon. Death is inevitable. It is a portal that every living breathing entity in this world has to go through at a given determined defined point. How about we start by accepting this.

كُلُّ نَفْسٍ ذَائِقَةُ الْمَوْتِ ۗ وَإِنَّمَا تُوَفَّوْنَ أُجُورَكُمْ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ ۖ فَمَنْ زُحْزِحَ عَنِ النَّارِ وَأُدْخِلَ الْجَنَّةَ فَقَدْ فَازَ ۗ وَمَا الْحَيَاةُ الدُّنْيَا إِلَّا مَتَاعُ الْغُرُورِ

سورة ٱل عمران؛ الاية 185

Every human being is bound to taste death: but only on the Day of Resurrection will you be requited in full [for whatever you have done] - whereupon he that shall be drawn away from the fire and brought into paradise will indeed have gained a triumph: for the life of this world is nothing but an enjoyment of self-delusion.

Another idea, is that Alhamdulillah for Islam through which we know that this worldly life is only but a step on the way. The final destination, our Home is Jannah in shaa Allah, that's where our souls belong, and that the only way to get back Home is through passing by the portal of death. And here is one thought that I personally hold dearly, nobody has ever walked through that door and came back to tell us what really goes on behind it. All we know is scary stories of torment and torture. And in the middle of all these stories that are mixed with fantasy and nonsense we forget that Allah swt is the most merciful!

Another thing that we tend to forget is that we don't own ourselves, we don't own our souls and we don't own our loved ones either. We all belong to Allah and to Allah we return. So death is literally the act of returning to Allah swt, where we belong, returning to the most merciful, the kindest, the most gracious. How scary can that be? Now, if people started obsessing less about this trivial superficial duniya and focused more on doing good deeds that would grant them a blissful return to the authentic home, death would have a different meaning. May Allah swt accept us while being pleased with us. May Allah swt not take us from this Duniya unless He is completely satisfied with us and with our deeds. Ya rabb. May Allah swt make us among those to whom He swt would say :

يَا أَيَّتُهَا النَّفْسُ الْمُطْمَئِنَّةُ ﴿۲۷﴾

O satisfied soul, (27)

ارْجِعِي إِلَى رَبِّكِ رَاضِيَةً مَرْضِيَّةً ﴿۲۸﴾

return to your Lord wellpleased, wellpleasing. (28)

فَادْخُلِي فِي عِبَادِي ﴿۲۹

Join My worshipers and (29)

وَادْخُلِي جَنَّتِي ﴿۳۰﴾

enter My Paradise! (30)

Now about the fact that you feel anxious about death visiting your parents. I could immediately detect the anxiety traits and let me put your heart at peace. This is something very common among people with anxiety and also ocd. (But hey I am not saying you have that, I am just starting facts, I have no right or place to diagnose you with anything). But I just want you to know that you are not alone in this. I, for one, have experienced this for continuous years since a very tender age. I feel you sister, and I know how tiring and exhausting it can get. Some of us even imagine the whole funeral and the face of their loved ones cold and dead, and cry it all out as if it was really happening. Been there, experienced that. Alhamdulillah for everything. However, you just have to keep a few things in mind, death is inevitable, it will visit your loved ones whether you expect it and wait for it or not, and no amount of thinking and worrying about it could actually prepare you for when it hits. So why torture yourself when it is not really happening? Spare yourself the pain my dear, Allah swt wouldn't approve of the suffering you are putting yourself through by worrying. Almost a year ago we lost a dear soul, may Allah swt accept her with his mercy and grant her the highest ranks in Jannah ameen, and one of her children has been putting this WhatsApp status ever since:

لله ما أعطى و لله ما أخذ، ما كثيرة على الله يا أمي

Translation: To Allah what He gave and to Allah what He took. You are not too much (too precious/ too valuable) for Allah, mom. (Meaning: yes she is VERY precious and valuable but if Allah wants her back we can't say no, we have to give her back, she is not too precious or valuable to be given to Allah swt because He is THE MOST VALUABLE) do you get my point?

"O Allah! Turner of the hearts, keep my heart firm upon your religion".

These prayers are very important for every Muslim because that is the prayer for all the wise since this world is not the eternal and we all want to enter paradise, and for us enter paradise we must have a good ending. You can recite them in all your prayers not only during prostration.

Also, they are many other prayers we shouldn't forget like good health, good offspring, peaceful life and many more...

May Allah accept all our prayers and may He give us all a good ending.

🤲🏽3 duas we should never forget 🤲🏽

1. Allahumma inni as’aluka husnal khatimah

اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّيْ أَسْأَلُكَ حُسْنَ الْخَاتِمَةِ

“O Allah, I ask You for a good end to my life.”

2. Allahummar zuqni taubatan nasuha qablal maut

اللَّهُمَّ ارْزُقْنِيْ تَوْبَتًا نَصُوْحَا قَبْلَ الْمَوْت

"O Allah, grant me sincere repentance before death."

3. Ya Muqallib al-quloob thabbit qalbi 'ala deenik

يَا مُقَلِّبَ الْقُلُوبِ ثَبِّتْ قَلْبِى عَلَى دِينِكَ

“O Controller of hearts, make my heart firm in Your religion.”

May Allaah ta'alaa bless us all - accept our duas, forgive our sins, multiply our hasanaat, grant us good health and happiness, & highest rank in Jannah.

DUA FOR ODD NIGHTS - SEEKING LAYLATUL QADR 🙂

According to majority of the opinion we have to seek Laylatul qadr during the odd nights of last 10 days of Ramadan. And not just on 27th of Ramadan.

Ya Rahman, Ya Raheem, Ya Rabb al Alameen, I call upon You and I ask You by every Name that You have named Yourself with, revealed in Your Book, taught any one of Your creation or kept unto Yourself in the knowledge of the unseen that is with You,

Allahumma salli wa sallim 'alaa nabiyyinaa Muhammad.

Ya Rabb, make me sincere in this dua.

Please grant me a death with the shahadah on my tongue. Grant me Husn al Dhan billah (good expectations from Allah)

Expand my grave for me and illuminate it with light.

Preserve my record in Illiyeen.

Lighten for me the questioning of the grave.

Grant me death in a state of Ibadah, that is most pleasing to You and resurrect me in the same state.

Keep me free from fear, anxiety and terror from the day of judgement.

Grant my book in my right hand.

Make me among those who show their books to others with happiness.

Make me successful in the Meezan.

Help me cross the Siraat like lightening.

Ya Allah, please do not give away my good deeds to others.

Reunite me with my family in Jannah.

Do not expose my faults in front of others on the day of judgement.

Ya Afu, Forgive the sins that I don't remember and the sins that I didn't even consider as sins.

Grant me a heart filled with tranquility and peace.

Cleanse my heart from malice, jealousy, hatred, self-admiration, show off, envy, arrogance and pride.

Grant me the ability to forgive others.

Grant me soft speech, protect my tongue from lying, backbiting and hurting others.

Grant me beautiful patience.

Grant me with the correct Aqeedah, excellent memory and understanding of the deen with daleel.

Bless my parents, forgive them, Grant them good health and make me a sadaqa jaariyah for them.

Bless my siblings in their marriages. Bind us together with love. Do not let shayaateen break our bond.

Grant all the single Muslims the coolness of their eyes.

Grant us righteous children and make them a sadaqa jariyah for us Oh Allah help me leave behind a legacy with humility, allow me to leave this dunya with the best legacies for our offsprings and for others.

Help me understand, write, speak and teach Arabic.

Help me maintain good ties with my relatives.

Help me see my faults and cover it from others.

Allow me to speak with wisdom just like the Prophet peace be upon him.

Bestow me with wealth to spend in your way.

Do not let others humiliate/oppress/mock/take advantage of me.

Help me be courageous, confident and a positive person who makes the correct decisions at the right time.

Grant me modesty in clothing and speech in front of non Mahrams.

Forgive the Muslim ummah -the living and the dead. Bless the Muslims with goodness and grant victory to the oppressed.

Fill our hearts with Emaan.

Oh Allah, accept my deeds.

Ya Allah, O my Allah, Ya Rahman, Ya Raheem, Ya Kareem, Ya Sattar, Ya Gaffar, Ya Qaadir, Ya Sami, Ya Aleem, Al Mujeeb, Ya Allah I turn to you in repentance, in submission. I beg you please fulfill my duas.

Ya Allah Forgive my sins, a complete forgiveness that leaves no trace.

Ya Allah Forgive my transgressions of Your Commands. Ya Allah Grant me victory over my shortcomings

Reform and upgrade me Ya Allah in the best way possible, in the way you know that is best for me.

Ya Allah Accept my duaas, ibaadah & deeds.

Ya Allah Guide me towards performing good accepted deeds for Your Sake only.

Ya Allah Help me to attain khushu', ikhlaas and ihsaan in my ibaadah.

Ya Allah Help me get closer to you as my end draws near.

Ya Allah Make me love You, Your Prophet (pbuh), Your Deen, Your book the Quran, the way it deserves to be loved.

Ya Allah Increase my eeman, tawakkul, yaqeen in You.

Ya Allah Increase me in Taqwa,

Make me of your grateful slaves and amongst the patient ones.

Ya Allah Give me the strength to be steadfast throughout the trials I encounter now and in the future.

Ya Allah Grant me a soft heart & content with Your Laws.

Ya Allah Make the Quran be my companion in both worlds.

Ya Allah Guide me to the siraat mustaqeem until my last breath, never be deviated in shirk, kufr or bid'ah.

Ya Allah make clear to me what is the haqq and what isn't, keep me firm upon your Deen.

Ya Allah Make me among the muhsineen, muttaqeen the mukhliseen, the sabiqoon fil, ilm.

Ya Allah Increase me in beneficial knowledge.

I ask of you what Muhammad peace be upon asked you of and I seek refuge in you from what the Prophet Muhammad peace be upon sought refuge from.

Ya Allah Protect me from sicknesses of the heart (envy, arrogance, proudness, show off)

Ya Allah Bless me with happiness in this dunya & akhirah, protect me from sadness, depression and anxiety.

Ya Allah Favour me with the ability to do tazkiyah of my soul throughout my life journey.

Ya Allah Remove the love of this world in its degrees & forms from my heart.

Ya Allah Invite me to Your House to worship You.

Ya Allah Grant me a good end, make me continuously love to meet You.

Ya Allah Make my grave & barzakh a peaceful, cool abode.

Ya Allah Grant me the Shade of your Arsh on Yawmul Qiyaamah.

Ya Allah Give me my record of deeds in my right hand and make my mizaan (scale) heavy with the good deeds.

Ya Allah Grant me the favour to drink from the Hawd Al Kawthar by our beloved Prophet's (pbuh) hand.

Ya Allah Ease my crossing of the Siraat & Qantarah (bridges before Paradise).

Ya Allah Favour me the ultimate bliss of seeing You in Hereafter.

Ya Allah Shield, increase & protect the love/mercy/barakah between me & my spouse for as long as we live.

Ya Allah Improve our behaviour with each other.

Ya Allah Reward my spouse Your best reward for her/his striving for my family.

Ya Allah Make the Quran & Your Commands be our judge in all matters.

Ya Allah Strengthen our practice of the deen together.

Ya Allah Make us join together in bliss in Jannah al Firdaus.

Ya Allah, assist us with physical & emotional strength to be a good parents & example to our children.

Ya Allah Save our children from the impact of our mistakes in their lives.

Ya Allah Bless us with righteous children.

Ya Allah Make our children the coolness of our eyes and make them sawaab-e-jaariya for me & my spouse.

Ya Allah Make them of those who establish Salah and prostrate only to you.

Ya Allah make them Hufaadh, who act upon what they have memorised, and teach it to others. Ya Allah Make our children workers for Your Deen, da'ees, imaams, scholars and shaheeds.

Ya Allah Protect my family from evil, calamities, enviers & the shayaateen from man & jinn.

Ya Allah Protect our children from harm, sicknesses, disbelief, haraam and destruction.

Ya Allah Grant our children success in Deen, duniya & Aakhirah & grant us a lineage of righteous offspring until Yawm al Qiyaamah.

Ya Allah Unite our entire lineage in Jannah al Firdaus.

Ya Allah Make them become the reason for our place in Jannah & shield against the Hellfire.

Ya Allah save me & my entire family from the Hell Fire & make us enter Jannah al Firdaus Aa'laa without being accounted.

Ya Allah, you are Al Gaffaar. Forgive my parents.

Ya Allah Reward them in the greatest measures in this dunya & akhirah.

Ya Allah Elevate their ranks and grant them Jannah al Firdaus.

Ya Allah Make me coolness of their eyes in their old age.

Ya Allah Grant my siblings success in this dunya & akhirah.

Ya Allah Elevate the ranks of my parents, spouse's parents, my sisters & brothers, my elders & entire Ummah.

Ya Allah Protect them from illnesses, deceases and difficulties of old age.

Ya Allah Forgive the sins of those who have passed away in my family & the Ummah - young & old.

Ya Allah Grant them a peaceful time in the barzakh till they meet You.

Ya Allah Save us from trials of Dajjal, Yujuj & Majuj & the last Day.

Ya Allah Grant my family & friends who are waiting for the gift of "children".

Ya Allah Unite the hearts of my worldly companions who work for You & strengthen our brotherhood.

Ya Allah Unite the hearts of those undergoing family/marital difficulties.

Ya Allah Grant your perfect cure to those who are sick.

Ya Allah Protect my brothers & sisters across the warzones & from the persecution, rape, slaughter, humiliation.

Ya Allah Relieve their sufferings & elevate their ranks.

Ya Allah Bring the downfall of those (modern day pharaohs) oppressors &

Relieve those who are deprived, burdened, oppressed, in debt.

Ya Allah forgive me for anything I forgot to mention and give me more than what I intended in the dunya and in the aakhira.

Ya Allah bless the person who forwarded this beautiful dua and make this a source of sadaqa jaariah for them Aameen.

Allahumma salli wa sallim 'alaa nabiyyinaa Muhammad.

Ya Allah, answer our Duaas You are the All Hearing, All Knowing!

I was in process of creating sort of an ultimate dua list but I was not able to finish...here is what I have gotten done so far so in sha Allah it’ll be of some use to you all (and make a dua for me too ^-^):

Parents, Siblings, Yourself: Rabbir-hum huma kama rabayanee sagheerah (“My Rabb, have mercy upon them as they brought me up small.” ) - Quran Example Duas: “My Rabb guide my parents, forgive my believing parents, and have mercy upon them. Help them to purify themselves and amend what is displeasing to you within them. Allow me to embody their traits that please you and help to stay away from the which displeases you. Oh Allah I ask you to grant my parents firduas without account, to give them a good death, a death while in the state of worship and submission to you. Ya Rabb, protect them from the torment of the grave and grant them in their graves noor, comfort, and spaciousness, and allow them to pass the Siraat (bridge) over hellfire within a blink of an eye. Allow them to be raised among the righteous under your shade, allow them to live on the straight path and die on the straight path.” ^^ I make this dua for my siblings and myself as well. “Oh Allah purify and beautify for me my heart, my adab, my akhlaq, my nafs, my rooh, my intentions, my thoughts, my mind, my sight, my hearing, and my speech and fill them with noor. Oh Allah surround me with noor - to the right of me noor, to the left of me noor, above me noor, below me noor, in front of me noor and behind me noor. Oh Allah make me among your righteous slaves, humble slaves, soft-hearted slaves, kind slaves, grateful slaves, oft-repentant slaves and allow me to embody all of the good characterics that please you and allow to do the good deeds that please you. Oh Allah I seek refuge in you from shirk, riyaa, pridefulness, arrogance, ungratefulness and a hard heart. I seek refuge in you, Oh Allah, from all of the characteristics and deeds that displease you.”

Ummah: Those in bleeding and oppressed countries including Syria, Gaza, Burma, Yemen, Nigeria. Do not forget our Ummah in underdeveloped countries like Pakistan, Mali, Somalia, Afghanistan, Haiti, Togo, Zambia, etc. Example Duas: “Oh Allah I ask you to help the ummah around the world with whatever they may be going through - whether their difficulty is as small as a prick of a throne or as big as war and oppression. Oh Allah help those in Syria, Palestine, India, Kashmir, China, Nigeria, Burma, Rohingya, Pakistan, Afghanistan, Iran, etc. and help us to help them. I ask you to have mercy upon the ummah, guide the ummah, and unite the ummah. Oh Allah help all those suffering around the globe, being treated unjustly, being unjustly imprisoned, being tortured and pressed including the children kept at camps in the United States, and those unjustly imprisoned in Egypt.”

Personal Duas: Overcoming bad habits Wealth Purification Marriage Children Guidance Etc. Example Duas: “Ya Ar-Razzaq, grant me self-sufficiency and allow me to use the gift of wealth you bestow upon me towards good causes.” “Ya Al-Wadud, grant me a righteous spouse and righteous children, who love you the most and work to please you. Place mercy in all of my affairs, and bless me in them. Help to be a good spouse, son/daughter, mother/father, sibling, friend, mentor, and neighbor” — Quranic Dua for children and spouse “Ya Rabb, help me against my sins and guide me to the straight path, help me to overcome the sins I engage in often, help me to purify myself my Rabb.”

Those who are Ill Example Duas: “Oh Allah grant cure to those who are Ill, indeed you are the granter of health and you are capable over all things. Upon you do we rely.”

The Hungry and Thirsty Example Duas: “Ya Al-Mughniy, nourish the malnourished. Ya Al-Wahhab grant food to the hungry and water to the thirsty. Indeed, You are the Possessor and Bestower of all bounty.”

Orphans Example Duas: “Oh Allah, grant sustenance to the orphans and protect them from loneliness and the evils of this world, You are the best of protectors and providers ya Al-Wahhab.”

Those Suffering with Loneliness, Depression, Suicidal Thoughts, and Mental Disorders Example Dua: “Oh Allah anyone who feels lonely, who has been overcome with depression and mental disorders, anyone who is so hurt that they may even have suicidal thoughts, have mercy upon them ya Ar-Rahman, ya Ar-Raheem. Help them to pass through their situations with faith in You. Grant them ease ya Rabb, help them to overcome the difficulties in their lives and protect them from Israaf (excessiveness/obsessiveness, this term also encompasses obsessive thoughts (Wasawas/OCD)).”

Those in Different Circumstances/Gratefulness Example Dua: “Ya Al-Hadi, guide those who have less and those who have more, and those in the median to live in their circumstances and pass their circumstances in a way pleasing to you, with the sweetness of Islam. Neither committing excessiveness nor being stingy or greedy, but being grateful to You.”

Guidance/Protection from deviating Quranic dua “our Rabb do not let our hearts deviate after you have guided us..”

Goodness of the Heart Example Dua: “Ya Al-Khaliq make my heart humble and full of humility, let it not seek the praise of people but only seek your pleasure. Protect my heart from deviance and blackness. Make my a heart a forgiving, compassionate, and a kind heart. Make my heart a pure heart. Indeed it is a pure heart that will be among the successful.” * quranic verse on pure heart * “Oh Allah purify and beautify for me my heart, my adab, my akhlaq, my nafs, my rooh, my intentions, my thoughts, my mind, my sight, my hearing, and my speech and fill them with noor. Oh Allah surround me with noor - to the right of me noor, to the left of me noor, above me noor, below me noor, in front of me noor and behind me noor. Oh Allah make me among your righteous slaves, humble slaves, soft-hearted slaves, kind slaves, grateful slaves, oft-repentant slaves and allow me to embody all of the good characterics that please you and allow to do the good deeds that please you. Oh Allah I seek refuge in you from shirk, riyaa, pridefulness, arrogance, ungratefulness and a hard heart. I seek refuge in you, Oh Allah, from all of the characteristics and deeds that displease you.”

Forgiveness **duas from Quran** “Ya Al-Ghafoor, forgive me for my sins big and small, intentional and unintentional, first and last and everything in between. Do not take me to account for my sins and pardon me ya Al-‘Afuw.” **see note for ‘afwa, al- ‘afuw is the one who grants ‘afwa**

Mercy/Blessings Example Dua: “Oh Allah, place mercy and blessings in every single affair of mine, of worldly affairs and religious affairs, in this world and in the hereafter.”

Health اللّهُمَّ عافِني في بَدَني ، اللّهُمَّ عافِني في سَمْعِي ، اللّهُمَّ عافِني في بَصَرِي ، لا إلهَ إلاّ أَنْتَ (3 times) اللّهُمَّ إِنّي أَعوذُبِكَ مِنَ الْكُفْرِ ، وَالفَقْرِ ، وَأَعوذُبِكَ مِنْ عَذابِ القَبْرِ ، لا إلهَ إلاّ أَنْتَ (3 times) Allaahumma 'aafinee fee badanee, Allaahumma 'aafinee fee sam'ee, Allaahumma 'aafinee fee basaree, laa 'ilaaha 'illaa 'Anta (three times). Allaahumma 'innee 'a'oothu bika minal-kufri, walfaqri, wa 'a'oothu bika min 'athaabil-qabri, laa 'ilaaha 'illaa 'Anta. (three times) O Allah, make me healthy in my body. O Allah, preserve for me my hearing. O Allah, preserve for me my sight. There is none worthy of worship but You. (Recite three times in Arabic) O Allah, I seek refuge in You from disbelief and poverty and I seek refuge in You from the punishment of the grave. There is none worthy of worship but You. (Recite three times in Arabic)

Knowledge Rabbi Zidni ‘Ilma "Oh my Rabb, I ask for Knowledge" اللَّهُمَّ إنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ عِلْماً نَافِعاً، وَرِزقاً طَيِّباً، وَعَمَلاً مُتَقَبَّلاً Allahumma a’inee asaluka ‘ilman nafiyah wa rizqan tayibah, wa ‘amalan mutaqabala. "Oh Allah, I ask you for knowledge that is of benefit, a good pure provision, and deeds that are accepted" Example Dua: “Ya Al-‘Aleem, grant me knowledge that is of benefit to me, and protect me from knowledge that is of no benefit”

Remembrance of Allah Allahumma a’inee ‘alaa dhikrika wa shukrika wa husni ‘ibadatik Example Dua: “Oh Allah, help to remember You in times of good and in times of hardship, let me not fall into despair and keep my hopes and trust in You. Help me to be of the few, the grateful. Let me never forget You.”

Protection from Kibr (pridefulness/arrogance) and Riya (showing off) *hadith of riya ‘go to those whom you showed off to on DOJ’ *hadith of kibr ‘atoms weight’ Example Dua: “Ya Rabb, protect me from kibr and riyaa, they are of the greatest evils and I would be of the losers if I were to fall into them. Protect me from these evils ya Rabb, in You I seek guidance and refuge.”

Protection from kufr (disbelief)/shirk (idolatry/polytheism/ascribing partners to Allah) Example Dua: “Oh my Rabb, protect me from falling into kufr and from falling into shirk as they are the greatest of all evils. Protect me from being of those who receive your anger. Make me of your slaves who stay upon Tawheed (monotheism (believing in the oneness of Allah), keep me guided and let me not stray.”

Righteousness/Gratefulness quranic dua Example Dua: “Oh Allah, I call upon you to make me of the righteous. This who are well pleased with You and whom You are well pleased with.  Let me live among the righteous, die among the righteous, and be raised among the righteous. Surround me with the righteous. And You are the best of Guiders.”

Those who have Passed away Example Dua: “Ya Al-Mumeet, bestow mercy upon those of the believers who have passed away, lighten for them the punishment of the grave. Have your mercy upon the Sahabah, the Tabi’een, and the Taabi' ut-Taabi’een.”

Asking for Jannah and Seeking Refuge from the fire Hadith allahuma inee askalukaljannah allahumma ajirni minnar
