Although painful to watch, it felt incredibly validating. It was so annoying watching some people say this show was “only about class” while dismissing the BS that Simon had to go through. The abuse was ten fold because he’s POC and S3 finally exposed that.

Letting go of the baby shows two moments in his life. The first time he came back and realizes he was replaced in the joker was still alive, he threw the old him away. The second time is now, he knows that he can never be the person he used to be. He accepts this, he wants to grow, he wants to change.
