hey did you guys know i’m in a podcast
i play The Con in this show, and it’s been on hiatus for a while but it’s coming back, and i so so so greatly hope you’ll join me in following this story because it is near and dear to my heart.

That's right, folks. CROSSING WIRES will be returning in Fall 2023!
A lot has changed, since we were last active. We all have a much more complex relationship with hope, isolation, and survival.
Returning to these characters and stories has been strange. Have they changed, or have we?
We will be rereleasing the first six episodes with updated credits and bonus short stories — exploring some of our survivors' lives before the end of the world found them. And then we'll be going right into the back half of Season One, with six new episodes for you all!
We are all so excited to come back to this podcast, and we hope that you will join us.

not enough people talk about "dont turn the lights off" ngl. this song + the daycare theme song have been ON LOOP for me. on loop while i draw. on loop while i do chores and cook. on loop while i work. on loop if i need to concentrate on something- no ANYTHING. it's such a comfort to me. this song has a DEATH GRIP on me. WHIMSY UNMATCHED. you don't understand how much this song fuels me to keep creating DCA content for myself ohhh my god.
"lights on" doesn't even compare for me (WHICH OFC i like the song + with the recent release of "best friend" im still giddy)

#MOTHERS FRIEND DOING THIS WITH OUR CAT RN IM PISSED.#SHE DIDNT EVEN GIVE TOFU ANY TIME TO SNIFF OR ANYTHING??#Sigh.#tofu came downstairs to see what was up bc person was in the house#But person just immediately started petting her#even tho tofu was visibly uncomfortable and clearly just wanted a sniff test or sm#went to my room asap after that and tofu followed quick on my heels#obvs I let her sniff as much as she wants before petting her (if she even wants fuss) so she had a sniff and very much seemed to want fuss#so I gave her a few strokes and then sorta checked in and she swirled around and bumped her head into my hand (all the while her tail was#pointed straight up with the tip quivering a little every few moments - a sign of happiness/excitement to see a familiar person)#so we had cuddles for a bit until she hopped off my chest to go get water or sm :3#BUT I DONT GET WHY MORE PEOPLE DONT HAVE SIMPLE WHOLESOME INTERACTION WITH THEIR CAT LIKE THIS??#LIKE. CATS ARE SENTIENT. THEY SEEK AUTONOMY - ESPECIALLY BODILY AUTONOMY. WHY TF WOULD YOU NOT LET THEM GIVE/DENY CONSENT??#like. if you aren’t willing to learn enough about an animal to understand when it’s unhappy at the very least *why* would you interact with#one?? (This person literally has a cat as well.)#idk man these are the same sorts of people that’d probably do the ‘awww just give me a hug! CATS ARE A SOCIAL SPECIES WHO HAVE DEVELOPED TO LIVE CLOSELY WITH AND DEPEND ON HUMANS#THEYRE OFTEN VERY AFFECTIONATE AND LOVING AND FORM LASTING RELATIONSHIPS WITH THEIR HUMANS AND WILL MOURN THEIR DEATH PROBABLY MORE THAN#HALF OF THE HUMANS WHO ATTENDED THEIR FUNERAL.)#If tofu doesn’t like you I don’t like you mate. happy new year! if you haven't filled it out yet, here's my interest tracker! now that i've gotten my drafts under wraps, i will be replying to everyone who filled this out & prioritizing plotting going forward!
i've found that plotting, even if in little bits has done wonders for my ability to write and overall generated more excitement when writing - plus i get to know so many of you more than i ever have and i'm so thankful to everyone i got to know so much more last year!
plotting does not have to be anything monumental, plotting is just talking about our muses and sharing in excitement, however small. it's an exchange of ideas!! if you feel scared or nervous about your plotting abilities, know that i'm right there with you, but we're here to make friends and to write so let's do that together! let's do it scared! throw me your thoughts, your ideas, a photo, a meme!
#whenever i think to myself am i being annoying? am i bothering someone? i now think about how happy it makes me when someone#interacts with me and sends me stuff and how it might brighten someones day to also get some of that#and now im thinking about the post that goes: in this terrifying world you continuously have the power to offer someone else a little relie#why would you withhold that. do you remember what a little relief feels like? it feels like a lot#do you remember what a little interaction feels like? excitement with a new friend over muses? it feels like a lot!!!#so genuinely: if youre worried or scared about talking to me or anyone else for the first time - do it anyways#and you also never owe anyone an explaination for taking a while or time. youre not bothering when you message me. im choosing my time#im making the time to talk to you and i understand youll also make the time for me when you have it#tldr: plotting can be simple. be kind. take care of your time. youre not annoying. you dont owe anyone anything. let's do some writing#ooc ⋆˙ mostly i want to be kind
