“how’s that happened? alright, apple slices are cruel, too.” encouraged by her reactions and the fact that he simply loves making her laugh, he glares at the plate with leftover apple slices and even pokes one with his spoon just to be even more menacing. “that’s for tryin’ to choke lucy gray,” he grumbles, having to stifle a laugh that threatens to escape him. “that leaves us with what? strawberries? strawberries are nice, haven’t disappointed us yet. we can be friends with strawberries then.” it’s only when he lets his gaze flicker up to lucy gray’s face that he ends up beaming, eyes playful and sparkling. “great minds think alike.” he pauses, bringing a spoonful of oats to his mouth and chewing in silence for a moment. the story has to be believable, no loose ends, no contradictions. “i’d suggest we pretend we don’t know each other at all, pretend we just met before you got on stage? and that i’m not stayin’ at your house, but… that might be more difficult to pull off.” he needs a good backstory, something that no one will question. “that’s how we’ll do it then. i won’t let you fall, i promise,” he murmurs, smiling sweetly, absently stirring his oatmeal. “that’s just lovely.” the laugh that escapes him could make the walls around them shake, his hand absently slapping his thigh. “two pigs at one table. we can finally release our inhibitions and be ourselves.” loving how honest she is, most girls would never admit they don’t care much for table manners, let alone call themselves pigs even in jest.

for his suffering... lucy gray couldn't the laugh that once again sounded from her. how was he so full of humor? she didn't like to compare people, but she couldn't help it, how come billy taupe had never been funny at all? let alone this amusing. "unless they try to choke you, they've tried chokin' me once or twice." the apples, she means. "i was about to say the same thing..." her face fell into a thoughtful look as she munched her fruit then finally gave her oatmeal some attention. "i gotta think on it. 'bout the father thing." she'd like to hide he's staying with her at all, but what if someone notices? maybe she's starting to get a little stressed... especially when the preacher KNOWS there's a wanted poster of his face out there now. dang it.

"to me that'd be better." she answers, taking the apple slice he gives her and dipping it into her oatmeal this time to try it this way. that'd make her a lot less fearful having someone right with her who knows what they're doing. "well, good. better not." pointed her spoon at him. "one thing about me... i'm a lady, but i eat like a pig." she parrots his words, just because it was TRUE and then she couldn't help but giddily laugh about it because they could both just eat without judging each other then. almost all of her fruit already about gone, she definitely was a crazy eater and not so classy about not using her hands unless she had to use a spoon like in her oatmeal.

i saw joe yesterday for his opening night and when i tell you i was floored, i really mean it! im a fan and have a soft spot for him so i was excited he was cast but was also a little doubtful of if he can sing but like he really can sing! he sounded so beautiful and really clear. I might be a little biased but Not While Im Around has to be my favorite song. hearing him live was even better if anyone has the chance too, 100% go see it live.

omgosh i adore his centaur form is so cool looking (he looks so fluffy and huggable and that size difference is amazing also I adore the way you draw faces and expressions i also love how you draw monsters so much, the face there with the cute dangit is so lovely detailed and looks so cool!!)

Of course it is!! My werewolf oc, he use to be a preppy rich university guy who was raised p much to see everyone is beneath him and that he owns whatever he wants, he ends up having a crush on a local baker and he doesn't know how to approach her because of how he was raised (in his head he calls her my darling) he is also touch starved. On his 24th birthday, he started transforming (it was a family curse the skipped generations any family member who got it was seen as not pure) his family pushed him out because he was no longer perfect in their eyes. He ended up running in fear too scared for anyone to see him like that. The baker found him in an alleyway near the bakery he was halfway through the transformation and she quickly took him in and tried her best to care for him as he fully trans forms his speech has become very simple not use to how the transformation changed how his body works. He also loves baked good so he goes from twig to teddy bear (Sorry it's a lot).

the harpy is the leader of a huge flock of harpies that protect a forest near a small village, they hate humans, they will scare away and attack any that approach the forest or try cutting down the trees. The leader is very gruff and intimidating. He's the largest out of the harpies and has multiple scars from fights. One of his flock gets injured and is taken care of by a farmer (my love for stardew showing) and comes back and he is told of the kind farmer so he goes to investigate but also warn them to not go near or in the forest (a kindness for a kindness) but as soon as he sees the farmer he falls in love at first sight and tries his best to stay stoic but he cant help staring awkwardly at the farmer. He cant help but keep thinking of her once he leaves and he starts collecting shiny objects to give her.

“lucy gray? you said we was runnin’ out of time, didn’t you?” a mischievous grin spreading across his features, fingers tightening on the cart’s handle, “buckle up, babe.” and without further warning, he takes off, racing between the aisles, maneuvering around other customers, being obnoxious and making beep beep beep sounds with his mouth.

eyes immediately squeezed shut, trying to remind herself not to react as she felt extreme annoyance the moment he did that. "how sweet of you, darlin'. thank you." she fibbed as eyes came back open, pushing his face away with her hands, blaming it on being embarrassing in public not because the spit on her cheek and ear is gross feeling. she lifts her arm up and discreetly wipes it away. but of course, his next words make up for it. "y'know...that might just be the best compliment ever. no...it is the best compliment ever. that makes me real happy that i can still put you in mind of the girl you met that day." a wide, dazzling smile returned to her face. it made her extremely happy to know the same person still resided inside her and she could still be that same fun and whimsical spirit.

that growing up and even growing up in the circumstances she did, hadn't killed her inner magic. and besides all that, there was something just so special and sweet about it when she, too, could still see the little boy she first met that day too. even as tall as he'd gotten and did a little changing in his features and his voice all from puberty's toll, she perfectly still saw the sweet faced tinier cowboy prince from that spring day when she looked at him now. "i hope not. but speakin' of...no goofing off billy, we gotta hurry." she patted his arm quickly out of her nerves starting to kickstart at the reminder, he was so easy to distract. "uh huh. we know i barely surpassed this size." playfully rolling her eyes at herself when her gaze landed on the outfit he was presenting her, gently pushing it away despite thinking the same of it's cuteness. "i wish it was in my size. i'd definitely wear it." the teddy bear ears are so adorable and she loves pink as one of her many favorite colors.

it really is!! Thinking of a character for ages and finally managing to draw them how you imagine them is such an amazing feeling!! I make a bunch of random designs as well and just putting together the inspiration and the aesthetics of the character to make something new ane beautiful is just so fun!!

Well, the main constant thing about them is that Ros is mostly an anime nerd and she's been trying to get Darnell into too but alas...

Ros loves trying new things while Darnell is kinda complacent with things being the same but is also down to support her just to keep her happy. He doesn't want to drag her down and he loves seeing her excited for something.

I don't really have a whole about there son, but he's a very sweet 3 year old that loves to help like a big boy.

He also has a bit of a raspy voice despite being a toddler, but he's perfectly fine.

I don't really play a whole lot of games but I do enjoy playing Animal Crossing and Miitopia. They're just so fun and simple.

And yes, I love putting together character by using different designs together.
