not to have to exist as myself or live the life i'm living. (darmine doggy door voice) my life is nothing i thought it should be and everything i was worried it would become.

21. if you could tell your past self one thing, what would it be?

all the times you thought about ending it you probably should have ha ha! a comical jape. let's try this again. it's not going to get any better when you grow up shit! okay. third try's the charm.

genuinely, i would tell my past self that internalizing all my feelings about getting sick in order to placate the perceived burden of having to be around me is actually just going to lead to a lifetime of emotional issues and hella therapy bills, but considering i grew up in the most emotionally stunted family alive, this would have changed nothing and probably made me feel infinitely worse and just left me with a different host of emotional issues and hella therapy bills.
