~ I feel like he loves a fashionable girl, specifically that like rich girl style (loves to wear heels, dresses, sun hats, etc). ~ Loves a confident, self-assured woman (I could see him loving a woman that gives off Jessica Rabbit vibes, both style and attitude).

~Definitely loves the hard to get type (not PLAYING hard to get but she just literally is hard to get).

~She'll love luxurious things (vacations, restaurants, etc) and will never say no when he offers her one of those types of experiences. ~She'd also be very kind, maybe even mellow personality wise. Like she's very poised, calm, and well-spoken for sure.

~ She's soft spoken (not necessarily like a meek voice but just calm) yet confident, and has no problem correcting or telling anyone off, she's just not going about it like Baji.

~Very compassionate and values family (this goes for type 2 as well). Baji cares DEEPLY for his mom so naturally I feel like he'd gravitate towards a family girl.

~Definitely loves animals for sure. Like just any animal she's cool with, and they're cool with her. (Them adventurous type girls that'll ride elephants and like...idk touch a shark lol. That ain't me chile)

~I could lowkey see that like chill sense of style for her too. Like not nothing fancy with Ran but more everyday/cute casual wear.

~I think Baji would like (in either type) a locs goddess type of girl. Like something about a girl with locs for my boy Keisuke....he's sat 🧎🏻.

TYPE 2:

~ ZERO PATIENCE....like none. If she's set off all hell is breakin' lose chile. It's every natural disaster happening at the same time if someone makes them BOTH mad (just run...).

Because Jinkies doesn't do anything by halves, it turns out that she even found this traditional formline artwork of the Kushtaka by Nick Alan Foote, an indigenous artist of Native American Tlingit heritage, where the legend comes from. @sam-is-my-safe-word and @talltalesandbedtimestories have been personal champions and cheerleaders of mine since the very beginning of my return to writing in this fandom, and they haven't stopped since. The fact that they still have effusively kind things to say about me and my work just makes me want to die (in a happy way).

Sharing and engaging and knowing that my stories are making people happy is what it's all about for me, so having those comments from @fictionallemons, Faraway22 (not sure if they're on here under a different username?), Jinkies, and @chiquititasnewsong preserved as a reminder of that... Honestly, you should be glad you can't hear the noises I'm making right now.

But now, having it in my hands, I'm moved even further than I thought I would be (and believe me, I know myself–I knew I'd be a mess).

I live a very small life, y'all. The joys I experience tend to be on the same scale. So while this might not be grand or extravagant to many people, this gift, of something I put into the world through a medium I've only really known digitally, intangibly, now being something I can hold in my hands as proof that I've touched the lives of people so far and wide, is a kind of profound that these words don't do justice.

It makes my life feel pretty darn big after all.

Oh also before I forget, you probably did find my Twitter! I haven't really made any posts about it cause, tbh, I still have no idea what I want to post there, but I do indeed have a Twitter! It is here for anyone who wants to follow me. Right now I've just really been dropping random cod thoughts and reposting a lot of artists content, but who knows maybe I'll start doing some Twitter exclusive stuff or thread fics or something (has no idea how thread fics work). Anyways on to the boy:

I'm using this as an opportunity to just talk about whatever comes to mind and the first thing I wanna start with are like some alternate ideas I had for Roach's family before I landed on the Sanderson dynamic that I have now:

Roach from a military family

Imagine how fun it would be if Roach was raised in a military family, especially if they still had that overprotective aspect to them. Like baby boy who was raised around the military so he's been intimately familiar with it

Maybe he had some different talent and his family wanted him to go down a different path and not go military like them

He says fuck that and joins the military and fucks around and ends up joining taskforce 141

Extra funny points if his family don't realize that he's on a specialized taskforce cause he was so nervous about telling them and they find out in dramatic fashion

Maybe he drops in to save them on a mission or something like 🤭 the drama of it all I love it

Also side note but I was thinking so hard about the Sanderson boys (Johnathan and Eddie) and I can't draw so I have to snatch some Face Claims for them so this is what I think Roach's older brothers look like:

Johnathan is played by Lee Pace don't test me this man is tall and probably acts as his own security at his bar and also is a goofball and idk Lee Pace is perfect (this should not detract from me also thinking that Lee Pace is a perfect fc for König)

Eddie to me has to look something like Luke Norris idk I feel like he needs a softer and more like nervous/panicky energy than Johnathan and this man fits don't test me don't test me

Also for anyone who is wondering: No, I still don't have a face claim for my Roach. In my mind he changes so much I see so many different artists versions of Roach in my brain at all times so choosing an actor for him is so hard. I have...thoughts, but idk that anyone would enjoy the thoughts that I have so we'll pretend I don't have them.

Listen y'all know Southern Roach is my bias but also also also have been falling in love more and more with the idea of Russian Roach. He would be so funnn like he works with Nik beforehand maybe he was undercover with the ultranationalists. I also enjoy the idea of him cursing Shepherd and/or Makarov out in Russian I think it would be fun.

However Southern Roach rains supreme I was thinking so hard about a ghostroachsoap au recently based loosely on the song "Farmer's Daughter" by Rodney Atkins. (Y'all let me know if you want the full au its really just farm au cuteness)

Thinking so hard of Roach just being beloved in his small town as this Golden Child precious little dude then he goes off to the military and finally let's that feral side come out a little. Imagine how funny it would be for Ghost and Soap to go home with Roach and see their boyfriend pu on this innocent act and listen to people describe him as this perfect little guy when they know for a fact that Roach is like borderline feral two steps away from being considered a wild animal.

"He's such a good boy, would never hurt a fly."

Ghost and Soap who watched Roach tear a man's throat out with his teeth last week:

Also taking the opportunity to say that we as a community need to start acknowledging hoe canonically skilled Roach is with weapons! Like this is a boy who had both Price and Soap cursing because they couldn't get any kills because he was killing them to fast. This is a boy who beat Ghost (his luitenant) on a rifle test by a wide margin and on the test that ghost beat him he only fell behind four points.

Roach canonical has several extremely brutal takedown moves that he can do, including the pickaxes and the little fucking kick thing he does to the one guy before stabbing him. Also he's like straight up flipping his guns and doing tricks with them and shit in his weapons inspections, Soap talks about how good he is with C4 and shit.

Like I think people see the like spots where he got into trouble and nearly died in the campaign and take that to mean that he's like not as good as Ghost and Soap and needed their help a lot but like honest to God all of the trouble he gets in to is less because he fucked up and more because the world seems to have it out for him.

The roof breaking out from under him, the ice cracking on him, explosions happen to rock his ass just as soon as he hits an open field. Like someone was trying to kill this little fuck and two outta the three times they failed.

And like its not like Roach doesn't help himself during these situations. Like when he fell yeah he had Soap guiding him but he was the one having the run and slide and do all that shit like no amount of Soap's guiding could have made that easy for him.

Also this boy almost falls off a cliff but is able to get himself back on track enough that he not only finishes climbing the cliff but then does a whole ass stealth mission basically invading a Russian military base on his own???

Roach is a very talented and skilled bug and we should all be patting him on the head for how cool he is.

Also I think its absolutely funny cause In my mind he's smaller than Soap and Ghost both like height and build wise (not small, just smaller than those two behemoths) and so when the trio of them are together people like tend to underestimate him meanwhile Ghost and Soap are like "Uh, no, no you uh hey dude no" because they know that Roach will gladly fuck people up.

I also love the idea of Roach appearing out of nowhere like a fucking cryptid. There is no talking behind Roach's back or keeping secrets he is everywhere at once and will appear out of thin air. Ghost and Soap have to like fully leave base if they want to plan a surprise for him and even then both of them have no trust that Roach won't somehow pop into existence next to them waahahhahaha

I DID IT!!! WOOO!! I COMPLETED THE CHALLENGE!!! I'M GOING TO SLEEP FOR A MONTH NOW.

No but seriously, this was so much fun, thank you @fabuloustrash05 for making me draw every day of the month because it really improved my art skills since the first day, and it was the perfect excuse to draw a lot of characters of this series that I wouldn't draw otherwise.

It was difficult to keep up with the challenge especially since my classes started, but I knew I wanted to complete it, so I did. And I'm very proud of it.

Also, all the people who participate on this are so talented! wth?!? I loved to see everyone's take on each day and I'm glad y'all liked my drawings too 🐢💖

So, just so you know. I'm going to take a break from tmnt now because, as much as I love the turtle guys, they aren't my main focus at the moment and I had so many other ideas this month that I couldn't do because of this challenge, but they can come back at any time, they're always in my heart.

yo guys i just remembered smth so likeeee i gotta announce this like before my winter break ends.

so guys. i won't be very active here on Tumblr (maybe not at all) until my summer break starts, which will probably be around the end of May or something. I'll probably be more active on Discord. The reason as to why this is happening is because, well, school is gonna be back very soon (the day after tomorrow, to be exact). And Living Earth Honors is a Living Hell (the subject is cool but the class and homework itself give me the ick). Gifted kid burnout is gonna be crazy this semester, and as far as I know my dad's gonna take my tablet away to help me focus or something. So yeah, uh that's it. 💌- how do you communicate while your apart? do you give eachother notes/letters? or do can you text eachother?

LETTERS. LETTERS ALL THE WAY. the tintin universe most definitely takes place before cellphones are a Thing (the last fully finished tintin comic, tintin and the picaros, was published in 1976), so texting isn't really an option. of course phone calls could be possible, but with how much tintin travels around the world, all those long-distance calls would get expensive fast! letters are much easier to opt for. :)

besides, I find it adorable to imagine us writing long and sappy letters about how much we miss eachother and how we can't wait to see eachother again! 🥺💖 I would worry about him a lot and always ask him if he's doing okay and make sure he hasn't gotten himself into too much trouble (but this is tintin... that's unavoidable! XD)

who is tintin, first of all? why, tintin is a world famous reporter! and for good reason - there's nothing he can't do and no mystery he can't solve!

though he resides in brussels, belgium, he regularly travels all over the globe in search of adventure and people to help with his faithful dog snowy (milou in french, the original language of the comics)!

he's kindhearted, selfless, heroic, and he's always looking out for those who are less fortunate than him. though he works as a reporter, he's not seen very often actually writing reports - he spends most of his time making the headlines rather than writing them! seriously, you would not believe the amount of drug trafficking rings this guy has busted, LMAO.

he's... more or less Perfect in that he, as a character, barely has any flaws. he's got RIDICULOUS plot armour and can get himself out of pretty much any situation. he's very talented!!

I LOVE HIM A LOT. I admire him. he's wonderful. I was very curious about him for a long time (particularly the past few recent years, as though I saw him in passing as a kid I didn't really care, LOL - I was never much of a reader), and I kinda had a feeling that I would Really Like Him A Lot if I knew more about the series, and, well... I sure was right hAH. my friends teased me a lot when I first told them because he's EXACTLY my type and they could've seen it coming from a mile away! XD

I feel like frank values personality over looks. now he definitely notices when someone is attractive, but I think his attraction to someone is based on whether or not he feels a compatibility. I mean, the man literally has chemistry and sexual tension with everyone

in conclusion, yes, he totally would. and now that he's coming back, and it's still not looking good for karen returning (which means no kastle which lowkey makes me sad), i'd really like to see some more diversity in his love interests

The Sus Boy From Next Door for the director's cut? Pretty please with cherries?

Fanfic Writers: Director's Cut // The Sus Boy Next Door (ao3)

Sure thing, anon! But be prepared for wayyyyy more than you probably wanted to know 😆

When I published His (ao3), it was pretty much a flop. It got SO MANY views and yet so few kudos 😭 And it didn't help my psyche that I was off my antidepressants because my latest Wellbutrin dose gave me a seizure 😵‍💫 I was feeling pretty down about my writing, and I considered giving up. Instead, I stepped away for a bit (and also started new meds 😁). I realized that I still had more stories I wanted to tell, and decided to try something a little different to get me out of my slump.

I've had a whumpy scene in my head for ages now where a guy returns to his apartment so beat up and traumatized that he can barely unlock his door so his neighbor helps him out. But I've made peace with the fact that I'll probably never publish any of my original stories so I often repurpose those ideas for my fic. Then, when listening to an episode of Casefile during a relaxing bath, a new idea was born!

Full disclosure: I've never really been into xReader fics 🫣 I'm more of a voyeur who likes to watch rather than participate 😄 However I do love to create original characters to interact with my faves. But I also know that fics featuring OCs aren't the most popular fics, and I needed a confidence boost, so I decided to give writing an xReader fic a shot! And boy am I glad I did because The Sus Boy Next Door (ao3) is by far my most popular fic 🤩 The overwhelmingly positive response that fic received made me realize that, just because His (ao3) didn't get a lot of love doesn't mean it's bad, or that I suck at writing; the audience for that sort of fic (my beloved manpain 😍 hehe) is just smaller! (My hubby tried to tell me this over and over again, that I was writing about torturing a character ["the middle Robin" as he calls Jay] from an 8 year old video game, but all my mentally ill brain wanted to believe was that I was a hack with zero talent.)

The positive response also inspired me to create this Tumblr account AND finally finish writing my manpain magnum opus fic: Hollowed Out (ao3) 💖

The last behind-the-scenes bit I want to share is that when I first brainstormed TSBND I planned to end it after Chapter 2, but my hubby (who I force to be my beta reader) made such a fuss about the sad ending so y'all can thank him for the upcoming Chapter 3 😂

I DUNNO 😭 Y'ALL SO NICE TO ME ALL THE TIME. 9 times out of 10 I will cry when someone likes my stuff. It's just that I was sad before I took the quiz because of a mean Christian woman and so I was like "Let's cheer up by taking a fun quiz!" Only for the quiz to stab me in the back with grey phrases that people may or may not like me. It didn't hold back. As if I wasn't confused enough and full of self-doubt. 💀 It's not the ides of march anymore, it didn't have to come at me like this.

But bro, even gods cry. 😩 I just had to get that through my head first. I went through this whole narrative in the shower as if I were having a god-to-god talk with the creator of the universe.

"Why would a god make such cruel people in their world?"

"Character development for the main characters."

And that answer made so much sense. Because when I put it in my perspective, I literally did the SAME thing to my characters.

Why did I create homophobic and racist characters to hurt the main characters' feelings? TO MAKE THEM GROW AND BLOSSOM INTO THE GODS THAT THEY ARE!!

Me: Wanting to make a eutopia world where there's no troubles and everyone gets along because everyone understands a little thing called sympathy

Also me: ANGST

So yeah, I don't care who rules this world, I'm the god of my own. 😙 I like you guys. We're gonna take over the universe together some day.

Author's Note | ohohoho, anon, this does not make me uncomfortable AT ALL. my one complaint is that this was supposed to be a fucking DRABBLE and this turned almost into a full fic?? I don't actually mind that tbh. this is my first time writing a pegging scenario so pls don't crucify me if it sucks ass! Anyhoo. If y'all don't like pegging, just pretend you do not see! we're having special time with pretty boy Calvin here, move along.

Warnings | smut (MDNI), pegging, Calvin discovers that he likes it rough, nothing else I can think of!

It's unfair how quickly Calvin upsets you. One second, you feel wrapped around his terribly talented fingers. The next, you could tear him limb from limb with how terribly out of touch and unpleasant he can be at times. The whole drive home, you seethe in the passenger's seat, listening to him ramble about how you'd conducted yourself so inappropriately in front of his mentor and friend, Langdon Tharp.

Never mind the fact that he'd started making the lewd suggestions. Never mind the fact that Calvin had been there, watching how uncomfortable it had made you being spoken to in such a way by a man who was practically a stranger to you. It was insulting, the fact that Calvin went to the defense of his friend and pointed the finger at you, as if something in the way you'd dressed had tempted the man. That's the word he used in the car.

You tempted him. With that skirt, you probably looked like just another slut to him. Of course he was going to treat you like one.

And that was the final straw. Those were the spitting words that sent you careening out of Calvin's car the second he parked in his garage. Entering the apartment, you barely regard an excited Scotty as you storm up the stairs and slam the bedroom door behind you. If you had your head screwed on right, you would've made Calvin sleep on the couch.

You would've opened the door a crack just to let Scotty scamper in and keep you company for the night as you mull over your terrible boyfriend's comments; as you contemplated for maybe the umpteenth time whether or not you were going to actually stay with him. Because you hate these rough patches of insecurity that make Calvin into such an egotistical asshole. But you love him. You love that he inevitably comes crawling back, knuckles rapping on the door gently as he makes an attempt at mending things.

"Hey...sweetheart? Can I come in?" No answer.

Calvin knew he'd fucked up the second those words had left his mouth. He didn't mean them. Not really. But he couldn't help it. He feels pathetic inside knowing how truly worried he is about you leaving him. Especially with a man like Langdon flirting with you. Langdon is older. Wiser. Handsome. Could probably support you better than Calvin ever could. And one day you're going to shake your head and ask yourself why you were sticking around for a guy like him? That's what usually happened with Calvin's relationships.

But you're not supposed to be like the others. He goes to speak again when the door opens suddenly. You stare up at him, arms crossed in frustration.

"Why should I let you in? Wouldn't only a slut do that? Or, I'm sorry, have I tempted you?"

"Baby..."
