Shut Up and Let People Enjoy Godzilla

Fucking hell, why are people so upset with the Godzilla x Kong: New Empire movie? Always, shitting on stuff because of some nostalgic, stupid standard.

Legendary Godzilla is fine and, honestly, a pretty perfect love letter to the absolute ridiculous various eras of Godzilla were (that these 'gatekeepers' seem to like to omit) and still beloved. Trying to explain the Xilians to anyone unfamiliar on wtf they are in relation to Godzilla is always a trip, lol.

Godzilla: Minus One was FANTASTIC and I hope Toho keeps doing movies of Godzilla in the veins of Shin and Minus One cause it's the dark, horrible aspect of Godzilla many know and love.

Why can't ya'll be happy with the fact we get all the flavors of Godzilla with these two and can enjoy the silly along with the seriousness. Just let people enjoy shit for christ's sake.

Here's a lineup of Godzilla villains from my comics.

From left to right we The Mysterians, specifically Teto De-Dilo (red), Cor Ha-Zend (blue), and Bure Vr-Torn (yellow) who have selected Earth as their next target to collect its resources and its women!

The giant headed Millennian is Indowerm who acts as a herald to its people seeking out a way to evolve into greater beings with their eyes set on Godzilla.

Man with the brown coat is Professor Hirotoshi Isayama the Prophet who comes from a lineage of prophets destined to guard and bring about, if need be, the Guardian Monsters and he has declared humanity, and Godzilla, a disease to the world and needs to be cleansed.

The woman directly behind him is Nilatae. She is one of Queen Vorticia's Ek Vilaar Il, The Queens Highest Order. She is the weapons specialist and a superb hand to hand combatant having yet to find any opponent to be bested by.

The man behind her with the horns is Doctor Demonico, a play on a Marvel comics villain who was created as an enemy for Godzilla, who has been affected by Godzilla's radiation and seeks out revenge against Godzilla. Some of his feats include super human strength, intelligence, and a slight telepathic connection with monsters.

The blonde haired woman in front of him is Cuetonry, another member of Queen Vorticia's Ek Vilaar Il, who acts as astrophysics for Queen Vorticia.

Behind her is Xianxornix, a kaiser xilian, who prefers the form of humans but despises them all together wanting only their distruction. His powers a limitless when in kaiser mode but still falls second to The Controller.

The blonde haired man in front of him is Nork Byrk, a member of Queen Vorticia's Ek Vaar, The Queens Guard, he stands the highest ranking male on their planet being only one of three males who are allowed to be in Queen Vorticia's presence. He is a formidable fighter and skilled in all weapons known to The Vortaak.

The purple wolf creature is Anticaa, a Rulaak as they're known on Skraar, the Vortaaks home planet, who is a queen in her own right. Her mind is connected to her pack. Queen Vorticia was able to tame Anticaa who now loyally follows Queen Vorticia.

The woman in purple is Queen Vorticia, Queen of the Vortaak. She is fueled by the desire to rule supreme and seeks out other plants to conquer with her latest selection being Earth. Fast in her own right she is formidable when challenged but prefers to stay out of the limelight of combat.

The alien flying behind her is Xienxix The Controller of the xilians. His power is near unknown being able to manifest his consciousness into other bodies across the galaxy as well as intercept premonitions from the future, his goal is only to use others in an ever lasting goal to obtain peace in the galaxy, even if that peace means destroying planets.

The woman in the silver dress is Ve Neesh, current Queen of the Kilaaks. Their loyalty is bound to those who have the upper hand to them. She is not one to agrevate as her pyrokinises will kick in and she'll light anyone she sees on fire.

The giant horned alien behind her is King Kogur of the Black Hole Planet 3 aliens or otherwise known as Simians. He is the current ruler of their planet and only seeks refuge for his people before their planet, Simia, is destroyed by Simiax, a giant black hole ripping apart their galaxy. He is a powerful ruler having ruled the last millenia of their kind.

The man with the eyepatch in front of him is Riichiro Banno, leader of the Red Bamboo, a criminal organization bent on weapon trafficking and human slavery. His methods know no bounds as he will ruthlessly take down anyone in his way.

The alien behind him and next to King Kogur is Commander Kuronuma, the first leader of a wave of Simains sent to Earth to infiltrate and prepare for their takeover. While there they studied the strongest being on the planet, Godzilla, and built their own mechanical titan od terror Mechagodzilla to best Godzilla to make their attempts easier, it wasn't as Mechagodzilla was defeated and he sent himself into exile.

The man with the large gold helmet is King Sellion, King of the Seatopians. He works tirelessly to find a way for his people to survive above land so that they may take back control of the Earth and save it from the human race, a race they have deemed themselves separately of. His armor is stronger than tank armor, and his sword can cut through even diamond. His strength surpasses that of 10 full grown men and is as fast on land as he is in water.

The Simian behind him is General Grogg, the second leader to be sent after Commander Kuronuma failed to report back to them of their progress. General Grogg has secretly infiltrated the Japanese Self Defense Force Mechagodzilla unit where he has overseen most of its progress while also secretly embedding their own language so that when it's the right time he can use Kiryu for their invasion.

The old man in front of him is Professor Mafune, who has turned on humanity and sided with the Simians, aiding Commander Kuronuma and eventually General Grogg who turned him into a cyborg. His new body allowed him to become smarter, stronger, faster, and more dangerous as he uses his abilities to fight against humanity.

The Simian behind him is Irgra, the daughter of General Grogg. While not as strong as the males of their species, she is far more fierce using her body, mind, and strength to get what she wants, which usually pertains to killing unsuspecting males.

The Simian in front of her with the helmet is Captain Mogul, one of the top lieutenants sent with Commander Kuronuma. During the end of their failure he was cornered by Interpol agents and presumed dead when he was shot off the side of a cliff. He however survived and has searched for his leaders to continue to serve his people.

The giant green eyed cockroach behind them is Commander Larch of the Nebulians. After a similar race of humans eradicated themselves in a far off galaxy, the cockeoaches that lived there adapted and absorbed the essence of humanity and over a millenia underwent an evolutionary change. They have since scoured the galaxies to enact peace on lesser planets, choosing to allow them to continue to evolve or to destroy them.

this did not come out as i wanted to. the more i messed with it after making it look like this, i was more or so destroying or covering up too much. BUT! this is Mecha Gigan if constructed in the citadel in city 17. almost like if Breen stole some plans from the Xilians! honestly, i did have a story set with godzilla within the half life universe. a goofy AU if you will! if you ever want to see it, feel free to pester me on it! i am serious. any interest on it will also get me on my OCs!

Planet Xiliv

Ummm... I think the only thing you need to know is that Keith has a panic attack due to a large amount of people surrounding and touching him. Please keep your minds safe!!!

Planet Xiliv is beautiful in general.

It has beautiful views, beautiful architecture, and beautiful people.

The Xilians have dark, smoky skin that makes their stormy gray eyes and white-gray hair pop. And they're all at least 6 feet tall, which doesn't exactly make Keith like them more.

They have never seen a species as diverse as humans in looks.

An alliance between Voltron and planet Xiliv has successfully been formed, and just like every other planet, this one's inhabitants insist that they must stay to celebrate.

And that's how Keith has ended up in another way-to-big room with way too many people around him. They don't notice him, thankfully, because of his freakishly effective abilities to blend in with the shadows.

Lance is quite the opposite. He has a large crowd surround him. Even from 20 feet away, Keith can hear them gasping about how 'strange and beautiful' Lance is.

Keith has to agree.

Lance doesn't even bat an eye as they slide their hands up his arms to 'see what his skin feels like' and run their fingers through his hair because it's 'just so soft!'

Keith is honestly envious of them. He wishes that he could go right up to Lance and do that too without it being weird. What? He can fantasize.

Keith decides that the food table is deserted enough for him to go get a drink without being noticed. He stalks quietly over there, and it seems to be going well before Lance, beautiful terrible idiotic Lance, yells his name.

"Hey Keith! Aren't these people great?"

Keith tries to make himself seem smaller as pale gray eyes turn to him.

Immediately, the crowd leaves Lance behind to grope at Keith instead.

They seem much more interested in Keith than they were in Lance, which means Keith has no chance of escape. Their long, cold fingers touch up his arms, and he feels one of them touch his chest.

They marvel over his pale skin and raven hair. They murmur in disappointment when Keith squeezes his eyes shut, because it hides his violet irises from view.

He hears an especially tall one remark, "His eye shape is so strange. I've never seen something so odd."

The sarcastic part of Keith's mind kicks in for a moment Oh. So they're alien AND racist. Lovely.

Then his panic sets back in as he feels elegant oval nails run over his scalp.

He wants to run, hide, cry, anything to make them stop.

He's so caught up in his fear that he doesn't notice the new addition to the crowd.

Keith freezes when he feels an arm around his waist. He looks down and sees the skin is a warm, golden chocolate color. He tries to tell himself that this person is safe, that he can trust them.

It doesn't work. Keith can't stop himself from struggling in Lance's hold. He turns to Lance and chokes out, "Please stop. You- you're only making it worse."

Lance shakes his head sharply and keeps a firm hold on Keith's torso.

"Keith. I know I'm not your favorite person ever, but you've gotta trust me. Would you rather be touched by these random strangers, or me? You know you can trust me. Please let me help you."

Keith gives him no response, and only stares shakily towards the ground.

Lance casts him one last betrayed look. He lets go and starts to go.

The alien, who had previously backed off to watch the paladins, descended on Keith once again.

Keith is done with this. He grabs at Lance's arm and looks frantically around himself at the Xilians gawking at him.

Lance get the point, and carefully reestablishes his hold on Keith.

Keith barely registers Lance guiding him out. He can faintly hear Lance snapping at people to get their hands off of him and warm arms shielding him from prying fingers, but he's too lost in thought to care.

As he spirals deeper down into his demons, he registers the lighting change and the dull hum of technology. A couple minutes later, there's darkness, other than a soft blue glow, and he's being placed gently on a bed.

When he realizes that Lance has left, it only worsens his mindset. He shifts so that he's hugging his head in his arms and rocking back and forth.

He finally left you too.

Why would he stay here with you? Did you think that he might care? Who would care about you?

No one, that's who. Everyone else has left, and now it's his turn.

He is woken from his dark thoughts by someone shaking him. He looks up through wettened eyelashes to see Lance's face peering down at him.

"Um, hey bud. I brought you some hot cocoa, if you want it. Wait. Are you crying? Don't do that! It's alright. I'll go back out there and kill every one of them if I have to, cool eyes or not. And you don't have to drink the cocoa! It's alright. That was dumb of me, I should of known that was a bad idea. Are you crying because I left you? Agh, stupid Lance, stupid cocoa."

Keith stops him quickly by grabbing the steaming mug from Lance's hands. That brings a small smile to his face. Keith takes a sip, and then he's being lifted into Lance's lap with his face towards his chest. He continues to drink, tears still steaming down his face.

When he finishes, Lance set the cut down on the table beside them and lets Keith cry into his chest.

They both end up falling asleep in Lance's room like that. They move together so that Keith is still being hugged, but laying down. The rest of the team comes back to find them like that, and Shiro smiles while throwing a large blanket over them both.

In the morning, Lance slips out to talk to Allura about the aliens. Nothing bad is going to happen from now on to the beautiful boy in his room.

Nothing but a whole lot of hugs, and possibly some kisses too.

uhh i feel like the only thing i wrote that is complete and has an angsty ending is 捡一个梦; reach for a dream bc it was a missing scene from an angsty arc of the show. or lol jk same scenario applies to 余光 (remnants of light) bc it takes place before the end of yuwu and not in one of the happier moments

7. What's the fic you wrote with the happiest ending?

either 给你给你 or 换一世身份姓名; heaven to myself bc they're both disgustingly sweet and affectionate at the end

nope! either i am writing for tiny ass fandoms or like, my fics don't get enough traction to attract haters LMAO

not a lot... the incomplete bingqiu au i posted has the most explicit scenes so far but i am still too shy writing it. i have to practice so that i can write more than 3 sentences of sex in a single day and actually finish the wips i started 😭

10. Do you write crossovers? What's the craziest one you have written?

i have before! nothing crazy tho bc it was just kpop rpf and it would be like, two idols from the same company that have interacted multiple times! lmao. sometimes i think abt crossovers for cdramas that are relatively tame such as: two actors that have been in the same drama multiple times are reincaranted and those 2+ dramas are their different lives... but it's so niche in eng speaking fandom and i haven't fully written one out yet. also does it count as a crossover if u put characters from story A into the setting/setup for story B bc i do that a lot but i think that is fairly common at least for ppl to imagine

i don't think so... again, my fics do not get a lot of traction so i don't think it's likely lmaooo

i think there was an exo one translated into russian a long time ago but i don't even remember which one lolllll it might have been on my livejournal

not a whole fic yet but ive brainrotted a plethora of aus with friends before such as but not limited to mingqian actors au with lianzi (very intricate with multiple variations) and a Bunch of cdrama and yuwu stuff with another friend :')

i cannotttttt pick only one but ummm in the last yr-ish it's been a rotation of tantai jin/li susu + mingye/sang jiu from cyjm, mingqian from liu yao, xilian from yuwu (🤪)..... bingqiu from sv (always).... i should stop for now that's Tew Many. but i think once i finish spl, changgu will also be up there

15. What is a WIP you want to finish but doubt you ever will?

i feel like i'm cursing myself by typing this out but perhaps the bingqiu i posted one chapter of..... even if i could write all the p With p parts that i wanted to include, i was also a little stuck on the ending and idk if i would be able to write it in a way that doesn't feel like a cop out or just weak in general 😢 but i do like that au and i think my writing for it so far was p decent... so who knows...!

16. What are your writing strengths?

i think i am pretty good at dialogue that sounds 1. natural and 2. true to the characters! i try really hard to make imagery sound original(ish) and evocative, and to make a character's Yearning palpable

17. What are your writing weaknesses?

intricate plot, action, sex (takes me forever to write and haven't done it in as much detail as i would like to tbh)

18. Thoughts of writing dialogue in another language in fics?

i love it! i did it a little in my yunfei fic and instead of directly translating the line of chinese right there i just included the meaning in the next line of dialogue, like "what do you mean [thing they just said]" + i did it like that bc the tone of it just felt so much more natural to me in mandarin for that specific convo. not that it was something untranslatable (it wasn't) but it just felt comfier to me. i also like the thing ppl do where you can hover over the text and it will show the translation but idk how that html works HAHA someday i would like to give it a go

20. Favorite fic you have written?

overall i think it would be typhoon season (my incomplete but not abandoned cisswap girls ximang in hk) ! i had it fermenting in my brain for like 8 months before i wrote it, which meant i had figured a lot of the stuff for the beginning out and it was much easier to write than normal since i was not deliberating so much in the moment. i think the pacing for it was good and the reveals of backstory were placed well, and i think i adapted the characters well too even if it's only a first chapter and they haven't done a lot yet. i wanna write them again but it's been rly hard for me to think abt that specific au for many months lol. i also think my recent yzy gegedidi fic had a lot of yummy scenes even if i see some flaws in some parts of the fic's progression... but i spent enough time on it already so i will not go and fix it anymore 😌 peace
