Marvel vs. Capcom 2 (Xbox 360) | Monday, 07.29.24

On this day, the Xbox 360 version of Marvel vs. Capcom 2 was released worldwide 15 years ago.

However, after being delisted alongside Marvel vs. Capcom 3: Fate of Two Worlds, Marvel vs. Capcom Origins, and Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3 (due to Disney indirectly causing expiring licenses between Capcom and Marvel), it'll return this year alongside a handful of other arcade games emulated for the upcoming Marvel vs. Capcom Fighting Collection: Arcade Classics release this fall.

2 Decades of Hominid

So, not only has a new Alien Hominid game came out but the original came has finally come to PC after so long! We really are in a Alien Hominid Renaissance right now and considering Alien Hominid is not only one of my favorite characters but also a major inspiration for me to draw, I decided to celebrate the launch of both Alien Hominid HD and Alien Hominid Invasion by drawing the funny alien himself showing both sides of the Alien Hominid series.

Tim Trance (Marble Blast Ultra [2006])

This Trance (With some Techno parts mixed in, such as the Drums) masterpiece composed by Tim Clarke is part of what led me to having a soft spot for the game itself, and it needed to fulfill this aspect, given it’s the only track in the whole game!

From the moment I started this game’s trial version on the Xbox Arcade Live Compilation disc on the console’s launch day, I knew this was a game worth playing the full version of, and while I don’t have that version anymore, it’s freeware on PC now, so recommending this game is very easy! It’s 3D platforming with a healthy mix of simple and challenging for those aiming for better records, taking advantage of the aspect of how it’d feel to control a round object like a marble
