Guys. So apparently fire doesn’t really have a shadow, it does but it’s somewhat translucent

So does that mean Xanthous shadow is just bald…

"Ah!" The flames grew worse on the doll's faces, ruining the delicate painting of its lips and eyes. The flames turned blue and Xanthous couldnt believe his eyes.

Fun fact: my mum works in a school and she just told me there's a kid named Xanthous. Like actually, I almost did a full ass spit take. She just mentions it cos we were talking about odd names and I awakened like a sleeper agent

I feel like Xanthous Fairfield and Nico Di Angelo would understand each other. I mean... They both dealt with homophobia. They both wanted to be understood. They both experienced traumatic events. They both doubt themselves. Before then, they both didn't have any friends. They both lost their mother. They both wanted to run away. Like, in the first book, A Tale of Magic, Xanthous wanted to drown himself in a lake, While Nico didn't want to stay at Camp Half-blood.

How each of the fair council members test their pens:

Brystal: Flips the corner of the page and draws in circles till the ink starts flowing.

Skylene: tests it on the palm of her hand.

Emerelda: draws up and down in a straight line then turns the line into a word so you can’t tell.

tangerina: draws a circle on the top corner of the paper.

Lucy: she either doesn’t do it or scribbles all over the place till the pen starts working.

Xanthous: Also draws on the back till the pen starts working.

I love the land of stories and a tale of magic but they do Not line up.

The plot holes guys

The snow Queen is dead so why is she alive? How?

What the heck Xantheous doing? He’s suppose to be ruling demons with his boyfriend who was never mentioned.

Why were all dragon made to be extinct when there was a whole little story about they shouldn’t be killed and aren’t actually bad they’re just subservient?

The relationship between witches and fairies? Like what went wrong there?

Alchemist??????? Never mentioned.

Like I know that atom was written after tlos, but like it would’ve nice if Chris had kept it consistent.

HC that the Fairy Council all have painted nails with their colors + their partner or close friend's color. Xanthous and Elrik (and/or Emerelda!) having matching colors, Brystal and Lucy matching, and Skylene and Tangerina matching with orange and blue colored nails especiallyy.

And Mrs. Vee and Madame Weatherberry having colors for the six Fairy Council members in ATOM.

Im just saying TLoS Xanthous got on my nerves he irked me because please calm down who has gone out of their way to piss in your cereal every morning

AND THEN i read A tale of magic/witchcraft and he was the sweetest boy ever i wanted to squash him like a bug in a rug and then Elrick comes along and its like GAJSKDJDKKDKS YES XANTHOUS PLS ASK HIM OUT and i love them

moral of the story is TLoS Xanthous constantly acts like he has a stick up his ass because he cant see his boyfriend and if i had known that i wouldn’t have hated on him when i read TLoS (i haven’t read a tale of sorcery yet the books were still coming out when i read them and i decided to start reading from TLoS again and realised why Xanthous was like that)
